If there was one thing in the world that you wanted right now, it'd be a knife. Anyone else would say a phone, their boyfriend, hell maybe even gun, but you? No you wanted a knife so you could slash the bastards throat before you.

It was supposed to be a quiet day, where you and your very gorgeous boyfriend would just lounge around. Instead, when you went downstairs to get the food you're knocked out and then dragged to god knows where in the middle of fucking nowhere. It'd be pretty hard to keep you in Monaco, you were either in fuck middle France or Italy.

Honestly you didn't care, you were just pissed that you couldn't eat your pasta and then fuck your boyfriend. You roll your eyes thinking about what he must be going through. Charles, was probably tearing apart Monaco looking for you and Max, Carlos, and Pierre maybe even Lando would have to be calming him down right now.

Your head snaps up when the large door rolls open, eyes narrowing you try not to swallow the wad of cloth in your mouth, tap covering it so you couldn't easily spit it out. Hating this sand paper feeling in your mouth you tried not to think about the wine you were drinking earlier as you were just getting far more annoyed as the time passed.

"Wake up," Your head whips to the side so hard and fast your eyes could spin in your head. Trying to gather your ground you blink quickly but nothing helps until your hair is grabbed and forces your neck backwards at an awkward angle as you face one of the men that have taken you.

"I wonder, would he pay quicker if I bloodied you up a bit? I think he would," The man groans and you flinch at the hot breath wanting to gag but clearly, you couldn't. "Mark! Leave the girl alone, he'll take out heads if we hurt her," The other man snaps, Mark, growls and shoves you, chair going toppling and you whimper hearing a sick crack from one of your wrists.

You were going to cut that one like a fish.

You were taught at a young age that closing your eyes and deep breathing would help you sleep, and at this moment that was what you were trying to do. You slowed your breathing down impressively, almost making it look like you weren't breathing.

"Hey, I don't think she's breathing!" The other one screams, you hear the one named Mark scuff. "Who cares, we'll just dump her body to him when we get the money." "Mark!" Groaning the guy gets up, you try hard not to breath in relief when you feel your wrists get cut loose and then your feet.

"Take the gag off," You wince unable to stop it when the tape is ripped off and your mouth pried open and the cloth taken out. You try to swallow but can't still having to play dead. "Fucking bitch, she better not have died." You feel something sharp poke you.

Snapping your eyes open you swing your leg out, Mark screams and you grab the knife and move, shoving it deep into the unnamed man before you. You hate the sound of men choking on blood, they sound pathetic. Grabbing the gun you cock it and point it Mark whose glaring at you, but starts to smirk sickly at you.

"Little girl, I suggest you put the gun down before you hurt yourself." "Fuck you, pussy." You don't even blink as you shoot the gun, almost blowing the guys head off as you sigh. "How long you been there?" You ask, seeing Charles leaning against the door smiling.

"Since you arrived here, was seeing how long it'd take you to escape, but I wasn't expecting this. This," He looks around and smirks, playing with the rings on his fingers. "was much hotter." You drop the gun and step over the bodies. Some of your blood and their blood on your clothes.

Charles stares at you with such hunger and want you almost jump him right then and there. "I think they broke my wrist," You admit, finally feeling the pain as the adrenaline starts to leave your body, making you shaky and tired. His eyes narrow and his delicate fingers grab and hiss seeing the ugly purple and black surrounding it.

"Fuckers, lucky they're dead." He curses and places a soft kiss on the wrist before looking over you. "Come, let's get you home." "How far is home?" You ask, not wanting the long drive back to Monaco. "Oh, 5 minutes, they're not really bright." Charles tsks and you stop in your tracks.

Max was never going to let you live this one down.

So I've finally finished Bloodhounds (+ ahjussi collection)

...and I have no idea where to start and what to say and how to feel.

No, wait, please hear me out.

It was b l o o d y and at parts a very difficult watch, as it has lots of explicit fighting scenes, which look extremely realistic and cruel. So cruel that I had to close my eyes and not watch, I even skipped many & i'm not sorry. However, there are also parts so heartwarming that it makes you forget about all the crimes and gore for a moment. So, it's up to you to decide if it's worth the struggle. Since the violence could be a bit too much for many, let's just say I do and don't recommend this one at the same time. Personally, one of things I greatly enjoyed is the subtle comic tone of Gun-woo's and Woo-jin's interactions with each other and their characters which represent people doing sports professionally so well, the purity of their hearts and lack of malice in everything they do, since they truly do live for the sports. Then there are two absolutely powerful and skillful young women, Hyeong-ju and Da-min, playing such important roles in the entire series, each of them individually contributing so much to the entire plan of bringing the bad guys down and saving what could still be saved. And also, one of the most enjoyable parts were definitely the bonds that came out of these newly formed friendships. Younger acting crew did an amazing job. In comparison to the older and experienced ahjussi crew (I'll get to them in a bit), they've got some serious talent. It must have been a huge undertake for both Woo Do-hwan and Lee Sang-yi to live up to the expectations of the entire team behind this drama. And they did it. They absolutelly slayed.

If you still haven't watched this drama, trust me when I say these two cinnamon rolls will instantly win your heart right at the beginning of the first episode. They're like the most perfect two besties you'd want to be besties with too. And yeah, you'll suffer thru all the horrors just to see them win the biggest battle of their lives. Gosh, every time I tried typing something coherent about them it just ended up being lots of crying shaking throwing up. They're the best, ok? And this is best I can do. ╥﹏╥

And while our marine boys scratched so many itches around this platform, I have to mention the absolute gentlemen that starred in this series and swept me off my feet *deepest sigh ever*

So many great actors took part in Bloodhounds, it's hard to believe my own eyes at times. Whoever was in charge of the casting did a killer job. I couldn't even take the bad guys seriously because they're freakishly handsome. Well, at least not until Kim Myung-gil brutally ended my favourite ahjussi trio damn you ep 6

What started as an obsession over two young marine guys and their bromance ended up as a hole in my heart over downfall of three middle aged criminals men and a will to trade all the money and gold bars for their lives. And more importantly, a huge appreciation for Korean actors over the age of 40.

No, let's be real. They're handsome and talented and great at their job and deserve all the love and support. With that in mind... here's a tiny screenshot dump because it would be a shame not to post it:

And I want to be normal about them and move on in peace but *internal screams* I've already mentioned Lee Hae-young in one of my earlier posts, addressing my obsession with the character he portrays, the sushi restaurant owner Hwang Yang-jung. And I know many people are obsessed with him too. But no one is speaking up. Which is silly. And tbh I really thought there would be more gifs of him and other men but...there's close to none? Can we talk about how fine this man is? How fine this whole ahjussi crew is? Can we... can we just acknowledge they sliced us all in tiniest pieces possible and burned us all till we turned into charcoal? Can we make a mess of kdrama side of tumblr by excessively posting about them? Pretty please?

It's true, I came for the boys, but stayed for these men. I'm not even joking when I say kdrama has me in a chokehold again, but this time for a whole new reason. Dropping everything just to watch series and movies these guys took part in sounds like the best idea at the moment. I even forgot about the new releases I started watching, which makes me laugh at myself, but... it is what it is. At some point, a girl just has to obsess over her favourite ahjussi, and that's okay.

I absolutelly agree. Domi to me is very thoughtful and I feel like he pays attention to details. And such a big family guy which is not really common tgese days, so maybe his dad passed the chain to him I don't know? And it just amazes me that Dominik loves and treasures his relationship with his father so much after everything he had put him through.

Yes, he definitely does! I had an anon who kept pointing out how he always color coordinates his shoes to his mathday trackies and it's so cute! Very much possible, or it was a gift for a big life milestone!

One of my favourite traits of his is how he treats children. He's so understanding and patient with them, and you can tell what being their role model means to him. The way he interacts with them, the patience, it's all very touching. You know how people just seem natural with children, understanding their language and all? I think he's like that.

With his dad, idk. Probably nobody will ever accuse Domi of being the sharpest knife in the tool lol, but his treatment towards his father, the boundaries he set and yet the love and respect he still shows him in my opinion speaks of his emotional intelligence. I do think that he's quite advanced in his emotional intelligence from what we have seen from him. Just how he treats people, how he uses his natural charisma, how he takes leadership roles so easily.

scar and grian start as exes, with the circumstances of their break up murky and mysterious. and scar needs help, and grian offers himself.

there's a lot of pain and guilt and weakness (because how can they help but be weak towards each other?) it's wistful and tragic and hopeful. it's. it's something. (and did i mention it's beautifully written?) (it is) (just go read it really.)

(i'll also throw this bait at you. this bit. this: Grian was the absolute most infuriating man Scar knew. It was a shame he loved him to death.)

(yeah this one is HEAVY.)

the writing. the writing. it's so so so beautiful. i know i keep gushing about the same thing for all of these fics, but. there's something so intricate and pretty in the way the words are woven in this one. i'm absolutelly entraced by the language. it's so pretty.

But srsly, I like it here! People overal are more kind and friendly and willing to help! Lot's of very good and well made public spaces where you can hang out and chill - I enjoy that! (in russia its something almost nonexistent)

Something is always blooming here, all year around! Lots of beautiful fancy trees and plants and also lots of birds, parrots and giant butterflies (for a person who used to live in a cold country it seems like im in paradise garden all the time hahaha)

Me and my family are doing good, thank you! We are strugling with money most of the time, but we have enough to live modestly (my commissions are opened btw lol) My brother gets lots of help from local hospitals, schools, migration center and etc - thats very good

ABOUT FOOD - to be fair everything is sooooo tasty here! I mean... the general food quality is just better than in Russia, but its mostly bc Argentina has lot of warm areas where anything can grow and does it all year around, so all the fruits and vegitables are more tasty and fresh and cheeper than in russia, meat and milk products are also good and fresh bc cows can eat green grass all year around... it's just simple as that

BUT!!! I gotta say that I absolutelly love empanadas, they are great! They are similar to russian pirozhki but still a little different

Medialunas are also nice and I think I like them more than croissants that they evolved from lol

I also really liked Peruanian kitchen from local Peruanian restorant, I gotta find out what are those salad salsas made of so i can make them myself!

ALSO ALSO just the fact that avocados just grow here??? drives me INSANE! I love avocados soooooo much!!! they are called paltas here

I love making guacamole or just put palta on bread with salt or just eat palta with whatever food I have cooked at the moment (like rice or whatever)

I do miss enormous amount of russian sour milk products tho... ряженка, сметанка my sweet darlings... ;u;

The thing is that Argentina just doesn't have same bacterias that spoil milk in Russia, so... most of those products not only nonexistent here but imposible to make, if you don't have this specific bacteria plantation BUT my mom has kefir bacteria so we are able to make our own kefir at least!

Also sushi here are expensive and they are like Faaancy food for rich bitches, while in Russia they were more like regular fastfood alongside with pizza XD but I at least treated myself with some sushi on my birthday bc I love them so

Going by what I know about your snippets of info on your programmed obsolescence au I know that it will be similar to 2012 regarding to tones and that one of the turtles will be a cyborg who was reprogrammed. Most likely Donnatello and he will most likely be brainwashed . Did the purple dragons injure him in such a way he had to either rebuild himself or was there a lab accident or a fight gone wrong? You did say you'd have the same villain as 2018 which means you'd need to tweak them a bit to fit. But does that mean you'll include 2012 villains such as Rahzaar or Fishface? Maybe stockmanlfly too? You weren't specific on seasons. Sorry for the possible spoilers I'm just having fun trying to piece it together.

Well, I gotta say, really cool theories, but tl;dr - not really.

The only thing I'm taking from the 12 series is the aesthetic, the general vibe, the concept of 'vigilantes of the shadows' the brothers had. I've said it before, but no characters from the 12 series will appear. Nothing about the 12 universe will appear in Programmed Obsolescence, I'm just taking slight inspiration from the series' themes.

As much as I absolutelly love the 'unwilling (robot)soldier trope', that's not what Programmed Obsolescence is about. Donnie is indeed the one with some interesting robotic 'enhancements', but they're only physical enhancements, and the Purple Dragons had nothing to do with them... I can confirm however that there was, indeed, a lab accident. Donnie isn't the one brainwashed either :)

Gaz complains about things that Jackson does to Roach and comes to him for relationship advice.

It mostly works out because Jackson also comes to Roach for relationship advice so Roach can just parrot back to them what the other one said and essentially help them communicate

Though he complains about it the entire time that he does it and after they make up always tells them "you guys should just talk because that's essentially what you did. I just had to be the middle man"

They're the couple that rarely argue though. Like once in a blue moon will you see them genuinely arguing. Mostly its just little squabbles about what to get to eat or what to watch

Compare to Soap/Roach/Ghost who also don't argue much. But when they do argue it will literally last for weeks

They're all stubborn, so even when one or two of them know they're in the wrong, it takes them days to actually give in and admit it

Any squabbles that they usually have are typically jealousy related and usually are fixed with kisses, cuddles, or sex

These three are insatiable. Like literally they are all so needy for each other all the time its a little embarrassing for them

Ghost gets jealous the most, Soap is somewhere in the middle, and Roach rarely gets jealous

When one of them has to go on a mission and two are left behind or two are on a mission and one is left behind, they do a before mission kinda date ritual thing

Essentially the one that is going to be away from the other two gets an entire day of pampering thats all about them

They all go on a date together to do something the one wants. Usually the other two will have a little gift/gifts for them. They get to be the center of the cuddle pile. If they want sex its literally all about them. They get to essentially be the center of attention with each other.

Kings of making out

Absolutely adore just cuddling with each other and pressing lazy kisses back and forth for hours

When Roach brings the boys home with him for a vacation immediately, he takes them to his local park and makes them walk the cool walking trails with him

Also definitely brings them with him through some of the more homophobic shops in town just to watch the old people have heart attacks (they never get close enough for the people to say anything to them, just close enough to see them react)

Soap def brings Ghost and Roach with him to any and all reunions he's invited to, all in the name of bragging.

Family reunion? Wow everyone, look, cousin John has two boyfriends instead of one! High School Reunion? Wow look, not only is that MacTavish guy even hotter, but he has two hot boyfriends now too!

Literally just does it to brag

Simon brings them with him to his families gravestones on the day he visits every year. They help him clean up the graves and decorate them again with flowers and knick knacks

Roach's family are very confused when they learn he's dating both of them

"We thought you and Jackson-?"

"Mom, I told you a million times we're just friends"

Do not understand, but very supportive!

Johnathan is the more mischievous of the brothers so he's the one asking all the questions to make Roach blush

"Who gets to kiss first at the wedding? Or will you all try to squish in?"

Makes the mistake of asking about how their sex life works one time.

"OZO 32"- here's the piece I ran the contest for in all it's glory. I absolutelly love the architecture of these appartment blocks in Šeškinė. With this piece I wanted to do a bit of a social commentary on the age of adds and commercials that we live in. I used over 80 adds collected from a just a few news outlet websites to create this piece. It is absolutelly astonoshing the ammount of commercials and adds we are constantly being exposed to. We've almost become blind to it. I imagined a futute where corps can use your living space or even buy out your entire appartment just to instal screens and banners on the walls. Murder Drones episode 5 "review"

So i'm going to separate this "review" in categories, because my brain works better that way.

Story: Okay, so alot of things happened in this episode. For starters, N, V and J all had their memorys of the mansion erased, well not fully erased, otherwise they wouldn't have flashbacks about it and Uzi wouldn't be able to hack them, wich is a wild concept, being able to hack into someones memorys and kind of manipulate them is fucking insane. We also don't know if J still has her memorys erased, probally not. V for some reason was having a "error 606", don't know what that is, but sure. We see that Tessa's drones are treated as worse than the norm, maybe because they have more "free will"?, don't know. Also Cyn is treated like he has some type of mental problem. N defends Cyn, a classic, the crow scene is fucking awesome tbh. Cyn goes fucking wild and basically fucks the entire mansion, turning worker drones in solver fuckers or just blobs. So in the wall that had that strange shit when N entered in the mansion, there was a strange simbol, what is that? And what it represents?. Cyn then goes wild on the humans. V gets mad that Uzi is on her mind and then fucking Doll appears out of nowhere. I didn't think would actually come back, I honestly thought that she would be more of a ghost shit than anything, but okay. Khan is clearly hiding something, I mean the man was married to someone who had the solver, he has to know something, and this interaction with Doll just makes it more weird. Then Tessa appears and gets the key for something, and th eepisode ends in a giant cliffhanger. Awesome, really liked this, i'm so fucking excited for the next episode.

Characters: So, N didn't have much new things added, he's basically the same, so I don't have anything to talk about him. V on the other hand, we now know that she does like N, at least a little bit, wich is anogh for me (I like NxV), outside of that, nothing much. J barely talks. Tessa is somewhat weird, she acts in a way that I predicted, but at same time in a different way, but her character is pretty intereting, I wonder what she is gonig to do, maybe try to "kill" Cyn? She also clearly doesn't like anyone with the solver, I can understand. Khan I alredy talked. Uzi had a little thing for her, we now know that she likes N, at least a little bit, wich prvoes what I thoguht would happen, a godamm love triangule, hope this doesn't ruin the story, but Uzi did have something more, the line of "finf whats wrong with me", or something in the lines, wich means that she thinks the solver is a "mistake" or something like that, wich is pretty interesting, that makes me think that Uzi is kind of very fucking selfish, since she is invading others mind, without their permission, to solve her own problems, that will surely be a plot point some time, I hope. Doll also has something going on for her, I think that she thinks on a similar way to Uzi about the solver, she probally wants to go where Cyn is to get rid of that, thus why she says that Mr. Doorman has done a good job. We also see a more "scared" side, she was afraid of Tessa, even thogh she can pick bullets mid air with the solver, taht can mean somethings, either her solver is not working properly, wich I doubt, or she doesn't want to use the solver, thus why she has an eyepatch. Maybe she has fear of turning into that solver state that Uzi turned. Maybe Cyn can see through her eyes, I don't know. And for last, Cyn is a fucking asshole, what is it's plan. It says its an eldritch beign, but why manifest in code? Why pretend to be a robot? And how the fuck does it hide it's true form? These are somethings that I though right now. We have too little information about Cyn to say anything, so I will just let those questions there. Overall, I really liked the new character development some received in this episode.

Art: This episode is absolutelly beatiful. The dark atmosphere creates really awesome scenes, like the one N enters the mansion. I liked the use of the humans, because even though their just a silhouette they still move like "normal", but overall I just like the design of the humans, it reminds me of corrupted souls from the Cube Escape series. Other than that, it looks like the other episodes, wich means that all the scenes were beatiful. The asthetic of this show is just really awesome.

Burned in a way

Fahrenheit 451 by: Ray Bradbury ------------------------------------------------------------------------------discalmer: this book broke me and I thanked it ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ I'd like to start by saying I expected everything but not this. I've heared about this book a few times but it never really gotten to the point where I really wanted to read it. There also weren't many people that I know that have read it so it was purelly internets fault. I have bought the english version of the book on a trip because I liked the cover and I was also interested about it in general, which now after reading it feels weirdly ironic. The book is quite short, only having around 201 pages, but in this short time it will absolutelly destroy you. I have laughed, I have cried and in the meantime I had existential crisis. And I loved every bit of it. If I'm being honest this book gave me the push I needed to start reading again. Now I need to clarify, english is my second language. I understand it fine but books can be a struggle from time to time. This, this was a pleasent struggle. The book literally flows, the way the sentences pace and carry you feel so natural and balanced, yet new and unexplored. I was blown away by how beautifully written this book was. I tab my books with those little plastic colorful sticky note thingies, but after the first 50 pages of this book I realised two things: 1. It past midnight and I should have been asleep for a few hours 2. I was out of tabs If I can recommend anything, to people who tab, buy a lot of tabs for this one, and do read it in the shortest amount possible, and then let it sit and sink in. I can't imagine reading the first half and then returning to it after a while, it would have way less impact for sure. The story is flawless, and even if it wasn't I was too preocupied by the book making me think so hard my brain practically melted for me to notice. I love this book, and I think it might take the spot of my most favourite book. It's beautiful. It's daring. It's so accurate and so terrifying.

And as you finish and sit down to munch on what actually just happened. Even if you're like me and you didn't understand every word, you didn't understand every situation because you get lost in translation, it makes you think. Ugly think. Think so hard you confuse yourself. And that's exactly what the book is about. If you do that, if you read this book and it makes you think. Then you've understood it, even if you didn't.

Ah, what medium of art don't I appreciate? I love art! I love reading, listening to music (and singing, but I'm not great at it hahah), sculpture, etc.

With reading, I mostly read fanfics lately, but I enjoy lots of typical books and authors too: Chaos Walking (Patrik Ness), the Lord of the Rings, Rick Riordan's books in general, MXTX's books, the Castle in the Sky. Those are the ones that come to mind first, my faves~ Of course, I include here manga and comics, there's sooo many I love as well. I do draw, but don't usually do comics (maybe someday!). Lately I've been loving Jujutsu Kaisen and Akagami no Shirayukihime, but I could recomend so many good ones.

With music I just always need some music if I'm not watching anything that has sound otherwise, I love so many kinds of styles, but I have a preference for melodic, mellow songs~ specially ones that I can sing along too. Lots of classical too (Chopin is my fave~). And piano is my fave instrument to listen to <3 I kinda talked about music already in the previous ask, so I won't go into more detail hahah

For sculpture I don't really have a particular artist I like, it's more a casual love. But all those "realistic" sculptures are mind blowing to me, how it seems completely real, specially fabric or expressions, but it's made of marble or another hard material.... man, so much talent, I admire them so much.

If we talk about drawing/painting I'm not proficient at but I still admire: watercolour is gorgeous and I am incapable of it. I love the art made with it! Oil and classic paintings as well, there's so many classic artists who have made amazing pieces. My fave is Monet! But I also greatly admire the ones from the victorian period in general. The way they render fabric and clothes is SO GOOD. I kinda emulate it unconsciously when I do my shadding ahah but I am sure it looks nothing like that xD Like, look at this art called "Flirtation" by Frédéric Soulacroix, that fabric 🙏🙏🙏 And the background is gorgeous too.

Also, I really enjoy watching movies/tv shows. Wether they're animation or not. Specially if they have good plot and/or if they have good photography/animation. There's so many beautiful works of arts in that medium as well. Ghibli movies are some of my faves (Howl's Moving Castle is my fave movie ever), Lord of the Rings movies are also masterpieces. I've also enjoyed lately the Poirot movies they've been making recently, they're really interesting and have great photography as well~

I have to say, I don't often watch theater/musicals because they're expensive and I'm broke af. But the times I went to see some, they're amazing as well 🙏 I'll include dance performances here too, because they're in a similar category to me.

I enjoy seeing architecture as well. My fave period for architecture is gothic! The way they did all those high arches and beautifully decorated walls. And the stained glasses! Sooo many great buildings!! Most of the ones I can see around where I live and was able to travel are churches or cathedrals. They are such beautiful buildings, even though I'm not religious in any sense at all, I always love visiting them and seeing them. But there's sooooo many amazing artstyles out there as well! Lique some Mosques are absolutelly stunning, with their intricate colorful patterns! There's so much good architecture to admire as well...

Also, I'll add that videogames are a form of art in my opinion as well, and I admire lots of creators. There's SO MUCH variety in this media, it's insane. Stuff like Return of Obra Dinn or Papers Please by Lucas Pope (who makes it all, including music, he's so talented), Baldur's Gate 3 (currently enjoying this one), Chants of Sennar, Binding of Isaac, Fire Emblem, Kingdom Hearts, etc. So many different styles but so fun and interesting. And also, so many good RPGs with amazing stories I don't think can be told in a better way using other media (Persona series, Tales of series, Dragon Age, the Nonary Games, Mother saga, Xenoblade Chronicles, etc.)

Sorry for the big rambling, I guess you didn't expect me to go into such a extended answer hahahah I really, really love all art of creation, it's such an amazing thing that someone visualizes something and can create it so everyone else can see.

I've said this over and over again, I wish I were filthy rich, so rich I could never ever use all my money, only so I could be an art mecenas (I think it's called patron in English, I like the word we use in Spanish tho XD) and give money to aaaall my favourite artists so they can just create without any worry at all, just focus on their art and not the money they need to make to survive. Just create their own stories, characters, art pieces, or create fanworks of any kind. I don't even want to request stuff I want to see, I just want to see what they want to create! What their mind can imagine and how they see the world!!!

Ah, if only...
