i was currently on my way to chris’ house nervous as i could be. i was going through many of feelings rightnow. scared being the biggest one. what am i gonna do? hows chris gonna react? hes doing so well with his youtube career and i dont wanna fuck that up. we werent even together we were just friends who fuck. what the fuck are we going to do.

i pulled into the driveway of the triplets house. i got out of my car after sitting in the car for a few minutes trying to figure out what i was gonna say to chris. i head to the door knocking and waiting for one of the triplets to answer the door.

chris opened the door and smiled at me softly. “hi y/n. are you okay?” he asked looking at me concerned because of the way i sounded while on the phone.

“im okay. can we go talk in your room? its important.” i said as i walked into the house shutting the door behind me.

“is everything okay?” he asked concerned as we headed down the stairs to his room.

“yeah.” i said lowly as i walked into his room with him. i sat down on his bed as he sat down beside me.

“chris..” i said as i looked at him nervous as i could be to tell him that he was gonna be a father to the baby im currently pregnant with.

“whats up y/n? everything okay? youre worrying me” he said as he looked at me.

“i-im pregnant.” i said as he got a weird expression on his face. i could feel myself start to shake a bit from my nerves.

“youre what??” he said weirdly calm as if he didnt hear me correctly.

“chris im pregnant, with your baby” i said trying to keep my nerves calm by playing with the bracelet on my wrist.

“are you pranking me or something because theres no fucking way that you could be pregnant y/n. were always careful when we fuck.” he said in a harsh tone as he clenched his jaw a bit as if he didnt believe me.

“chris why would i be pranking you? have you forgot about the time a few months ago?i have no reason to lie to you about being pregnant!” i said slightly raising my voice.

“yeah i remember y/n. but everytime we ever fucked and i nutted inside you you never got pregnant. so whats so fucking different about this time!?” he said back raising his voice louder then mine.

chris was in shock with the news the girl had just told him. he always has wanted kids. he just never thought it would happen this early. its not like hes not happy to be a dad, because deep down inside he is. its just all a shock to him, hes not ready to be a dad. he didnt mean to be rude to y/n, its just all a shock to him.

chris has been inlove with y/n for the longest time, he’s just never really knew how to act on it since they agreed just to be fwb with no strings attached. which clearly he already broke since hes inlove with the girl.

the girl was the prettiest and sweetest girl he has ever met. he loved her personality. the way her eyes lit up when she seen him. the way she held him. he loved the way she fit in his arms. his favorite thing is when they cuddle together skin to skin. it felt so intimate, it all felt so right to him. who wouldve knew that she would be the mother of his child. hes not complaining one bit, its just a new feeling.

“y/n..” chris said softly as he pulled her closer to him.

“what do you want chris? all youre gonna tell me is how im apparently not fucking pregnant when i know the way im feeling and the way my body is changing! chris i literally took 10 fucking tests and theyre all postive” the girl said to him as she had tears spewing out of her eyes.

“y/n im sorry. im sorry i yelled at you. this all just a shock to me, i didnt except for us to get pregnant. its not a bad thing, its just scary rightnow but i know we will figure it out with time. i love you y/n, and im not just saying that because youre the mother of my child but i truly mean it. ive always loved you, youre the only thing i can ever think of.”chris said as he looked at her

the girl smiled softly at what chris just said to her. “i love you chris. youre all ive ever wanted.” she pressed a soft kiss onto his cheek.

“lets just take things slow at first before we rush into a relationship. its not just me and you anymore. we also have a baby on the way. i want us to have a healthy relationship that isnt rushed. i want us to be the best version of ourselves as we can for eachother and our baby. i love you, and i cant believe we’re having a baby together.” i told chris as he was looking at me.

“i agree with everything you say. we gotta put our baby first over me and you.” he said as he pressed a soft kiss onto my lips.

“im making a doctors appointment tomorrow so i can see if baby is okay, and how far along in the pregnancy i am and when my due date is.” i smiled softly looking at him

“can i go with you to your appointment?i wanna see my baby” he asked me

“of course you can. youre the father chris you can come to every appointment me if you want to” i told him as i laid back on the bed.

he laid inbetween my thighs as he turned to face me lifting my shirt up pressing a soft kiss on my belly.

i couldn’t believe that chris just told me that he loves me. im so glad to have him by my side to help me raise our child.

im adding onto this post

your group of friends all leave one by one, leaving you the only one of your group left in the bar, waiting for your lift home (because you cant drink drive!)

you decide not to drink anything else, having your fill for the night and just ready to conk out the second your head hits the pillows.

youre reproached by the bartender, youve been sitting at the bar while you wait, not thinking one person is worthy to occupy an entire table. he greets you with a smile.

“you want anything else?” he leans forward as he asks this, smile on his lips. you shake your head, leaning in closer again.

“no, no, im done for the evening, thank you though!” you can tell yourself its because you dont want any alcohol in you all you want, but really its because that shit costs money.

“hey, if you want i can make you something alcohol free?” he offers, “it’d be my honor, and i’ll even make it on the house. just for you toots” he grins, subtly flirting with you

a roll of your eyes and a small chuckle leaves your lips. “alright, if you insist.”

it seems as if this bartender cant stop smiling, as he moves away, he’s got the widest smile youve ever seen from a person, teeth showing in all their pearly glory. he briefly walks away to get a glass.

while he’s gone, however, the universe decided that you’re its next victim.

a man approaches the chair beside you, and sits himself down. theres a strong attempt from you to pay him no heed, to focus on the man behind the bar making your elaborate yet alcohol free drink, but this man is in dire need of your attention it seems, staring you out while you look forward.

you sigh, turn towards him, and give him a small, unmotivated smile.

you’re not really listening to what he has to say, but he does say “whats a place like you doing in a girl like this” which is just. not right. at all. it makes you laugh though.

you don’t care about this guy enough to listen to him babble on about himself, and it seems the same comes from the bartender, finishing your drink and setting it infront of you.

while the guy doesnt seem like trouble, youre still wildly uncomfortable, and you give a sideeye to the bartender. his brown eyes are already on you, as he scratches the side of his face. the beard below his nails make a noise.

he understands your look, and he nods subtlety.

“hey man, this is my girlfriend youre speaking to. may wanna back off a bit.” the bartender says monotonously. he then reaches out his hand and grabs ahold of yours, gripping it softly.

the other man is surprised, probably just as surprised you are. you play along though.

“yeah sorry, i just wanted to see this man on shift, cant get any better than a man in uniform, right?” you regard cheekily. although its brash, it’s exactly what you’re thinking.

his tight fit black shirt is doing something to you, and he’s now looking out for you? you gotta come back here more often.

the bartender grins as the man leaves in a huff, giving up on his attempts to further advance with you. at some point, his fingers began to run left to right over your knuckle, without either of you noticing, it seems.

when you look back to him, his face is red, still gripping your hand. he clears his throat “apologies, i didnt mean to go to that level of extreme… in which saying we were together…” he seems flustered and embarrassed that he thought of that, and he physically cringed at himself for even bringing it to light.

he attempted to move his hand away, but your clamp on his hand was stronger. the heat between you two couldve melted the ice in your still undrunk drink. you cant help but smile. “i didnt mind at all, thank you.”

both of you are overjoyed that there are more than one bartenders working tonight, because everyone else wouldve been left waiting, your red faces looking into eachother as your hands stay pressed together.

he clears his throat.

“um. its not often time i find myself asking this but. can i give you my number?”

you pretend to think, lifting your unoccupied hand and tracing a finger around the rim of the drink he made for you.

you respond quietly, jokingly, “only because you paid for my drink”

a smile is exchanged between you to. he writes his number on a napkin, and leaves you to put it in while he runs off to server other customers, his eyes often looming back over to you while you drink your final drink of the night.

you call him over before you leaving, letting him know that youre going.

“please let me know when you get home!” he calls out as you walk away.

you turn your head and smile his way, giving a quick nod and a wave his direction.

when the bartender finishes his shift, he finally gets access to his phone again, you shouldn’t have your phone with you behind the counter! you’ll get distracted easily!

he sees he has 3 messages from an unknown number

‘wait i didnt give you my name oopsies‘

he cant help but let out one of those large grins he does, hoping he will see you at the bar, or other places, again soon.

I totally get your point about the kenny/Jane thing. In my opinion the best outcome is letting Kenny kill Jane (honestly Jane brought that to herself, all of them knew that if he lost someone else he would finally go ballistic and she deliberately put him on that spot to prove "a point") and then staying in Wellington, because Kenny acknowledges that he's not fit enough to care for her and AJ anymore, so he begs Clem to stay. He's aware that he's not right for the job, and he accomplished his mission, he stayed loyal to Lee and left. It also gives the opportunity to speculate whether he finally found peace after all his suffering. (Even if the original idea was him offing himself in the Virginia lake after that)

i always find myself struggling to talk about S2 because i know the writers changed direction (multiple times?) as the season was releasing??? which means character arcs and motivations were altered to fit this new direction and its like painfully obvious sometimes especially when it comes to kenny and jane and luke

i hate when writers cant commit to the bit. and that kind of happens with kenny. which is weird because even tho they decided against him literally being carvers character (which wouldve worked perfectly for a luke v kenny ending), they still try to give him that carver storyline. like.. i could see kenny easily being in carvers position at howes. just like lilly in S4 with the delta. these two characters wanted leadership and never liked any pushback from the people around them. i can also see the kenny we knew from S1 turning into a man like carver in S2 (a dude who has lost a lot and whose methods are becoming more extreme to keep people safe) and i think kenny being carver instead wouldve made carver a much deeper and more interesting antagonist. like carver is fine. he works although his beef with this 11yo is weird. but we dont buy it when bonnie tells us he used to be a cool guy. we've only ever seen carver as a murderer. but if it was kenny in this role then immediately we add a lot of baggage to this character and his relationship with clem and her new relationship with the howes group. like we know kenny and we know what hes capable of but we also understand his motivations and we do believe that deep down kenny does want whats best to keep his people safe. and clem reappearing in the life of THIS kenny wouldve been Huge as he wouldve already begun his descent and clem is the only one who can really get through to him (like they still try to do when all the adults are like "uuuh clem you go talk to the angry man theres no way he'll listen to US"). i think they were afraid of making kenny an outright antagonist though and instead tried to have their cake and eat it too which just kinda...leads to mess... commit to your characters dark spirals and downfalls i hate this wishy washy bullshit. plus having kenny as carver instead wouldve centered clem in the howes discussion more. as it stands she just kinda gets swept up in everyone elses bullshit and just has to go along with it. classic child experience tho

jane pretending that aj was dead to intentionally push kenny over the edge just to "prove" to clem that hes dangerous was SOOOOO unnecessary jane!!! like we know girl!! we know!!! and when he tries to kill her for it its like...i know you saw this coming jane so how did you expect this to end?? was she just hoping she'd win the fight? she even tells clem to stay out of whatever was about to happen (plus she does genuinely put ajs life in real danger by leaving him in that car where they were lucky to hear his cries). but i think this problem stems from them changing it out from being a luke v kenny showdown. i think that ending wouldve culminated more naturally as their beef was slowly building since they first met. disagreement in leadership styles. that silly little middle school "choose who to sit with at dinner" thing felt like foreshadowing of a luke v kenny fight that just never happened. they needed to create a reason for kenny to attack jane as jane doesnt care about leadership she cares about keeping herself safe so the whole aj thing just....feels forced. like... jane why....Why........ where did your self preservation go...its like your whole character...

so...yeah.... i have a lot of conflicting feelings about S2 and its ending. on my recent playthrough i had clem tell kenny that maybe lee Shouldnt have come to save her in S1, trying to be all "boo hoo im so sad i get everyone i love killed boo hoo" and kenny responds by saying he should SMACK her for that???? i was so shocked that i missed taking the screenshot of it. i gasped audibly... turned into a "matter of time" situation for me (even tho things seem fine enough in the S3 flashbacks hes weirdly normal again and still talking about boats). kenny is definitely a broken man hanging on by a Singular Thread by the end of S2 and jane snaps it. this is why i like leaving kenny behind at wellington. clem and aj are definitely the light of his life at this point and he wants whats best for them. leaving them at wellington is really the best thing he can do for them both and its very sad because we know he Needs them. and clem would want to hold onto whoever she has left so its hard for her too. throughout all the seasons clem and aj are seen as the light in the darkness the hope for the future yadda yadda and kenny losing that? yeah i can see why the virginia lake idea was a thing. but thats ALSO why i like the clem shoots kenny ending. this man just wants it to be over he misses his family so much he cant take this shit anymore. staying with kenny into S3 really feels like we're stretching out his character as far as possible. it kinda feels like they hit the reset button on him and hes back to talking about boats. i feel like post S2 they just didnt really know what to do with him or jane. i feel like their endings in S2 are the most narratively fulfilling for their characters and i want clem to enter S3 on her own

so i let the hyperfixation win.

over the past several hours i rewatched Sword Art Online and SAO 2.

(this time dubbed, last time i watched it subbed)

here are my thoughts:

-anyone who said the dub was bad is just wrong. Kirito's VA really shines in the more comedic or sweet moments (like when first meeting Yui), he reminds me of like a Peter Parker. and oh my lord, the breakdown by Suguha's VA was just a masterpiece. Still have chills from watching it.

-i have such a big appreciation for every character. This time it really shined through how good of characters Kirito, Asuna, and Suguha actually are.

Kirito's internal conflict throughout SAO2 is so good, grappling with their actions they needed to take in SAO to survive. and throughout all of it you can tell how much they truly loves their friends and family, and how kind hearted they really are. Asuna definitely fits into that role as well, being so ready to take care of Yui and so desperately wanting her to be safe and loved and cared for.

And oh my gosh Suguha. I remember people absolutely hated her arc because it is problematic, but the fact is, it's played entirely serious, her feelings arent taken as a joke. She has a genuine and real internal struggle for feeling things she feels she shouldnt, and how she feels those feelings arent reciprocated or cant be reciprocated, and having her heart broken twice by someone who she loves and someone who also does still genuinely love her. Its absolutely heartbreaking to watch.

Man, Sinon is still fantastic. She's still my absolute favorite, and I think she is one of the best characters in the show, and pretty much steals the show from her introduction. Her arc ties in so seamlessly with Kirito's and how they help eachother heal and grow is fantastic. Only complaint is we never got a scene of the rest of the Gals being jealous about the grenade hug she gave Kirito. After Kirito and Sinon nearly died, wouldve been some nice relief so you didnt feel like you yourself were dying.

-Speaking of, while there was definitely a ton of fanservice, the pseudo-harem aspect with the jokes were kinda cute, between characters seeing flirting happen around them, getting embarassed over it, its fun. Especially when people got jealous of Sinon flirting with Kirito over Excalibur. That part was very fun, since they did that infront of everyone else, almost like they were trying to get a rise out of them. Theyre not exactly the pinnacle of comedy, its definitely a trope, but theres something nostalgic about it that makes it kinda enjoyable.

-Speaking of the psuedo-harem, guys if all of you are constantly flirting with eachother (not just Kirito surprisingly, happens between the other girls frequently) and jealous of any affection with that, just start a polycule. You're a group of gamer girls playing MMOs together and all of you have slept in the same bed with eachother. Stop snipping at eachother and start dating eachother. Polyamory is pretty cool. Kirito and Asuna can still be the main duo and be the parents to Yui and Strea; but yall gotta work on the jealousy or just do what every other group of girl gamers does, polyamory. Lisbeth you should not be angrily drinking while watching Kirito and Asuna talk. (this is mostly a joke, im not actually saying they *have* to do a polycule, its more of a joke because of how tropey a lot of the flirting and jealousy is, and yknow, gay girls do polyamory, so dont take this part toooooo seriously.)

-Speaking of girls dating girls, the LGBT rep aint half bad. Argo canonically using both male and female pronouns is really cool! Most of the girls flirt with eachother a lot too, which is nice. Between the female avatar, the willingness to pretend to be a girl, the introversion, the desire to be an avatar in a virtual world more than irl, Kirito might be transgender. All good stuff here.

Overall, SAO is honestly way better than I remembered, even if some parts definitely show its age. You gotta piece it together a little bit with headcanons, but i do that with every show, nothing is perfect. Except Sinon. And a world where trans Kirito is canon. Those are perfect.

You were sat at the bar, at the hydeout watching the shitty bands play, when your favourite head of curls came on stage. Drink in hand you get up out of your seat and make your way to the barrier where a group of girls were already standing, screaming up at the mop of curls trying to get his attention. 

"we're corroded coffin, and this is master of puppets" he grins looking down at all the girls in the front row, he turns around his back now facing the crowd as he shouts before turning again and beginning the song. You bop along enjoying the music as the girls in front just scream up at the front man. Another girl knocks into you causing you to spill your drink down your shirt, you groan looking down at your now wet top before leaving the pit to go sort yourself out. 

Missing most of their set thanks for the raven haired girl, your shirt now stained with cheap beer, you groan looking at yourself in the mirror. Running a hand through your hair you decide to head out back to try catch the band before they leave the shitty club. 

You spot the drummer at a van and wonder over, 'uh hi' you say, he turns to you and smiles 'hey' he chuckles 'enjoy the show' you nod 'yeah, well what i saw of it anyway' you chuckle looking down 'some girl made me spill my beer down myself and spent most of your set in the bathroom' you groan, rolling your eyes. He chuckles 'a shame you had to miss our set sweetheart' you hear a voice, you look around the side of the van, seeing the curly haired front man lighting a cig. His back against the van as he turns to you 'i know, you guys are so good' you sigh tucking a piece of hair behind your ear. 

'oh my god its them' you hear 'we loved your set' you give the drummer a look, as the other girls make their way up to the boys. The curly haired front man raises a brow at you before moving away from the van, 'oh sweetheart you should be more careful next time with your drink' The red head says looking at you before laughing, 'boys you were amazing tonight' the raven haired girl says moving closer to eddie, putting her hand on his arm. 

'thanks' he chuckles taking a drag of his cig, 'personally, i think their a bit shit' you hear a low voice mumble, you look behind you seeing a drunk older man coming over, tripping over his own feet. 'fuck me' you chuckle 'its all down to taste' you mumble 'what was that sweetheart' 

'i said its all down to taste, i bet you couldnt even pick up a guitar, or drum stick for that matter let alone play that incredibly hard solo' you say, having enough of everyones shit for one evening. 'Just jealous because their young and get a shit load of attention from young females, and males for that matter. All while your here drinking away your sorrows' The drunk man looks at you opening his mouth to say something before telling you to do one before stumbling away. 

'Sorry who are you' the red head says 'was rather kind of you to stick up for th-' 'shes my girlfriend actually' the dark haired boy says, stomping out his cig before coming up to you wrapping an arm around your shoulder. 'hey sweetheart' he grins down at you placing a kiss on your head. 'i uh what?' the girl says 'yeah, and i dont appreciate you teasing her or making her spill her drink down herself' he says bitterly. 'i-' 'you what? you didnt know? if you had known you wouldve been nice to her?' he chuckles 'pathetic honestly' he mumbles pulling you closer to his body. 

the red head looks between you both before storming away. The raven haired girl looks confused 'im so sorry for her, i uh fuck' she says before rushing away with her friend. You grin biting your lip before turning to the front man. 'You didnt have to do that' you smile softly. He shrugs 'not every day you get a beautiful lady like yourself stand up to a drunk' he chuckles 'Im also sorry for how they treated you' he shrugs taking another cig to his lips, you shrug 'shit happens' he nods, 'gareth, ill see you later' he nods to the drummer, 'see you later eds' he says. 

'shall we?' ed says smiling down at you, re wrapping his arm around your shoulder. 'eddie' he mumbles into your hair 'y/n' you chuckle into his side. 'pleasure to meet you fake girlfriend' he grins. 

Safe to say, you and eddie were joint at the hip after that night.

random thought but pounder, blayde, splitter, and SNOWBLAZER deserved so muchh better in the show like writers did them dirtyyyy yknow

i was really hoping blayde would get some sort of redemption, like girl gets traumitized by d-structs to the point she lives in a practical kill or be killed mindset its just... sad

and then the show just discards her like its nothing

out of all of the evil trio (pounder, splitter, blayde) she deserved redemtion THE MOST

now onto pounder, to be honest there isnt really much to go off of for pounder, he dosent talk and there isnt really much backstory given to him at all (unless you think that the pounderwhatevrthefuckthespeicesnamewas that attacked skya when she was a child is the same pounder as the one in the present of the show but frankly i really dont think thats the case)

but there was a few moments i was really latching onto for a bit of even an idea of the chance of redemption or even just some sort of backstory

Ty & the gang in the pounder episode dont even really give a second to even try to talk (which is usually the first and foremost for Ty.) like they tried with splitter and blayde. Skya (if i can remember the episode right) insists that theres just "no reasoning with a pounder" and idk, it just gets me thinking did pounder ever really chose that life or was it just preditermined (like in the way that you can see at the start of the seires all the diffrent trux fleeing from the sight of a singular t-trux, but unlike the path that Ty took which was finding trux who would listen and care, but maybe (and these are just extreme headcanons and speculation btw, take this with a grain of salt) pounder just gave up and accepted that thats just how people are gonna act and hes gonna chose to live up to that villian role)

and as for an actual chance at redemption, while on the surfuce you might think theres absolutley no chance at all, i have seen a few cracks just in pounders general character, not huge ones, but just little things that show character.

compared to splitter & blayde, pounder is much less agressive, (when not directly in combat with Ty & co.) he usually lays low when alone with his team and kinda just waits for his moment, and he never really fights with splitter or blayde (until that last scene with them, but even then he initillally trys not to fight with the other two and just lay back from it all, even opting to protect blayde from a rock that one of the other two (idk i forgor..) threw at her, (until blayde turns that back on him which only then hes pulled into fighting)

i could definetly see a situation if with the right push and right people he could get some sort of semi-redemption

or this might just be me overanylizing pounder cause i despretly want more pounder content

as for splitter, i guienuinly dont know about any sort of redemption at all, do i think itd be entirely out of the question for him, maybe not??? but as shown in the show hes very stubborn and hard headed, but even with there being no chance for redemption with his current character i definitly wouldve liked to see more with him.

and more with the evil trio in general, all their stories were cut way too short.

(if you guys have any ideas about what you think a good redemption route for splitter could be, please tell me cause i really dont have any ideas on this)

now this is entirley self indulgent becuse yes i know theres no logical reason to see her again as she was just a one off character

the show introduces this character that lives all alone for god knows how long in the middle of snowy nowhere and has been so isolated that she talks to A ROCK SHE THINKS IS ALIVE

that is not like the occasional visitor or travler isolation to get to that state that girl must have been in COMPLETE ISOLATION FOR YEARS AT A TIME

and i dont even think thats bad writing, infact i found this part about her character very interesting

no, the thing that infuriates me is the fact that afyer that episode, after the gang leaves her there, she is not shown ever again, she is not mentioned ever again, shes not even REFRENCED. which just gets me thinking, shes probably still living out there all by herself talking to a goddamn rock with no compony or anybody around for MILES

am I naive to think our twin isnt going to come in there and just steal our guy in the first recoupling?! like maybe she will later, but I can't imagine she'll do it in the first one. they've done this literally EVERY season now...are we not tired of the same boring storyline?? so far it doesnt seem like the twins have a contentious relationship, and she already said that she isnt going to put a random bloke between them. thats also why I think they ended this update at the text before the recoupling and we dont actually get to see who she chooses. wouldve been a lot less of a cliffhanger to go into next week knowing we're keeping our LI so far.

ANON. anon listen to me because i literally had this exaxt same situation with my (now ex) best friend SINCE MIDDLE SCHOOL almost two years ago. i also tried and i also accidentally led on and hurt them and they didnt ask me to never speak to them again and actually jsut ignored me all summer instead and likely got all our shared friends (aka most of my friends lol) to do the same so i just didnt bother trying to reconnect once school started again. im also currently on the other end of this kind of as the best friend who took that old best friends place (though we probably wouldve ended up becoming best friends even without that whole mess i hope) broke up with me after a few very good months of dating and a few very bad ones and i asked him not to speak to me for a while but then decided to reconnect with (which judging by the fact that im active on tumblr could be going better).

i apologize if you’ve answered this before but a lot of younger gen-z especially ones on tiktok say ryan should’ve been the lead singer and panic would have had the same amount or more popularity do you think that has any substance or people are just delusional

ive seen that too, imo it is delusional and people are only saying that because brendon is canceled and everyone likes to pretend fan perceived morality is equivalent to success and talent. ryan was not even the sole singer of the young veins, he split vocals with jon. brendon is, objectively, a better vocalist than ryan. brendon may not use those vocals to the best extent, but ryan is not a strong singer.

i am finishing up the dissertation™️ right now and pete always knew ryan had a band. he didnt care until brendon joined and the girls on the forums started freaking out. they just lied about what happened later.

the dissertation is about pete and ryan meeting so i havent really done a deep dive into the split but im touching on it at the end. one thing i ran into while researching was the guy who co-authored petes book did a lot of writing about panic during their split and theyd do exclusives with him about it and its stuff i dont see floating around anywhere on here and i thought it was all really interesting and he said very explicitly pete and ryan were no longer friends.

anyway, it appears from that and kelties book and ryans interviews years later that ryan kind of went off and started doing a ton of drugs and drinking and gambling. i dont think he had a support system to cope with the death of his father and they were all really young and got really famous really fast and were getting really mean. brendon has talked about how mean he was back then and ryan acted the same way. i also think he was being a tool and its difficult to help someone acting that way especially since everyone else was also a douchebag dude in his 20s on drugs.

anyway its explicitly reported that pete cast his lots with brendon immediately and ryan didnt seem to know what was going on. im not sure if he was being told things and not listening because he was kind of in la la cocaine land or if everyone ganged up on him and jon despite the split being mutual. petes writer friend also wrote a super brutal review of the young veins that i think gets across why it failed. i think everything he said was right and i agree with it and think he was even trying to find something nice to say, but also. Woof. ryan also had and has no desire to continue being in panic and continue being famous, and he has been open these days about how tyv fell apart very quickly.

but anyway, no, panic never wouldve gotten very far without brendon. i think ryans backing vocals wouldve added a lot to the first record and i do think ryans lyricism and vision added a different dimension to the band that was completely critical to their early success and fan reception but that wasnt and wouldve never been enough on its own. people just like to say that because they dont like brendons career decisions.

ohhh elizabeth... what is she not to me. well first off i always get extremely bothered by any of the fandom characterizations that make her like super malicious or evil or manipulative or whatever. like guys shes literally like 10 years old... shes a baby... that being said i dont mean to imply shes a perfect angel or anything though. i think she is absolutely a very sweet little girl at heart but i think she can definitely be very stubborn and strong willed.

people like to be like "oh yeah shes such a spoiled brat" but idk... i think her relationship with her dad is really complicated tbh like i think he definitely is probably. the nicest to her out of any of their siblings but i still kind of doubt he really dotes on her or gives her much love or attention overall. he is just a very cold father i think. and imo i feel like the reason she seems so demanding in the sister location clips we get of her is bc she definitely kind of tends to demand whatever material things she wants out of her dad really just to try to get a reaction out of him/get him to give attention to her. i think he tends to kind of be like "whatever yes ill buy you the doll/toy/etc" bc he cant really be bothered to care. and so i feel like when she asks to see circus baby and he refuses its like. a Big Deal to her. especially bc baby seems to be kind of based on/targeted to her which is really meaningful in her mind, since it seems to show he actually does care about her after all.

im just kind of rambling now sorry liz is just the baby of all time to me... idk what else i think she is very close to michael especially in the period after evans death i imagine he would try to really step up and be a better sibling. and i think him not being there when she disappeared would always fuck him up leading to the events of sister location eventually. idk thats a different topic ill save that for later

dear sweet charlotte.. i think she is such a sweet shy little girl. liz is a bit more energetic and forceful i think whereas charlie tends to be much quieter. and also in an inversion from lizzy i think charlie is so so close to her dad. i think shes kind of his whole world and he kind of dedicates his whole job and life to wanting to make her happy as best as he can. i think charlie and liz are definitely childhood friends since really early also, like the sequence we get in the silver eyes of charlie describing her memories of playing at fredbears extremely young but with liz instead of sammy. on that note i dont think sammy really exists in the game universe, charlie just has so strong only child vibes its hard for me to imagine otherwise. but yeah i think their relationship is super strong and if anything probably a little unhealthy for henry with how attached to her he is. which of course would cause his life to completely collapse when she dies

after charlie dies of course is a bit of a different story. idk if i could fully tell you why william did it, besides that he was jealous for henrys attention and wanted him to focus on their job and not keep getting distracted by his daughter. but i think its such a heartbreaking surprise for charlie, this man shes only ever seen as basically an uncle hurting her in this horrible way, when she assumed he wouldve been there to help her. i think charlie possesses the puppet immediately, but probably cant really do much with it in the broken state we see in the minigame. henry would of course eventually discover both the body and the broken animatronic, and hed be so heartbroken i think hed pretty much quit the company immediately. i imagine henry in his home workshop trying to fix the puppet, mostly out of guilt that his creation could end up like this. but once it was fixed i dont think he could look at it again, i imagine him dropping it off in a box of stuff at freddys before he leaves town for good. charlie at this point woukld be forced to realize she cant do much for her father anymore, even if she got to see him he wouldnt ever look at her the same way. i think shed slowly gain more awareness of her situation, and when the mci happened shed be so panicked wanting to help the 5 children, not realizing she was really just trapping their souls there with her. maybe she just wanted a friend...?
