i would really love to know why the fuck my brain has repeatedly given me traumatizing nightmares involving zombies since i was a pre-teen. its annoying and i hate it and i have no idea why it happens. im not even actually scared of zombies or anything but the nightmares themselves are always so horrific and panic inducing

the locked tomb series is a four part scifi/tragedy trilogy featuring necromancy! its a little hard to quantify because summarizing it depends ENTIRELY on the target audience but it does have broad and expansive themes on love and death and grief and most importantly, the horrors of love.

my bestie quinn summarized it quite nicely over here

if you like romance: the books explore different types of romance and how they will destroy and consume you in different ways. also theres lesbians if that helps

if you like tragedy: i have cried at the end of all three books. it is about how easily you can be consumed by your passions and obsessions

if you like worldbuilding: personally i think the difference between exhaustive worldbuilding and good worldbuilding is that they have the same amount of detail, but good worldbuilding is expressed through the eyes of the characters and not elaborated upon in the narrative. tlt does the latter: its a very fantastic universe that seems almost too confusing to behold at first but the bits and pieces the characters integrate into their dialogue say so much

if you like puzzles: this series made me make a fucking discord channel + use up multiple sticky notes to piece together the plot and stories happening throughout the books. im currently rereading the series in an attempt to make a wikipedia on all the characters from scratch

if you dont like puzzles: im on the dumber side of theory-solving but even if youre lost if you have patience the book does a great job of explaining it all in the end. im very serious. if you have questions they Will be answered you will not be left behind. all the extra background corkboard shit is optional for freaks that want more

- aiden used to have a yt channel when he was just a kid and he would post the most unhinged weirdo shit youve ever seen like wtf you mean you posted “pumped up kicks except its not pumped up kicks and i eat a shoe box” at 9 years old 😭😭

- tyler is soooo good with hairstyling???? like his sister would always ask him to do her hair when they were younger and he just got really good at it

- soo many times you can be talking to ash and have a whole one sided conversation before you realize she has her headphones (and listening to music) on and cant hear shit

- aiden eats jolly ranchers like a fucking FREAK he sits there and crunches them, its an honest to god miracle he hasnt lost teeth

- animals dont like ben but ben LOVES animals, hes holding a cat hes so content he loves it, the cat is in the most stress of its life

- tyler had a phase when he was younger where he’d randomly cut his hair in the absolute worst fucking cut youve EVER seen, taylor prolly has it as a screensaver

- aiden lovesss old 2000s tv shows, one of his favorites is Paris Hilton’s “The Simple Life”

- when the group has sleepovers ben and taylor have these like super extensive skincare routines and will disappear for like an hour and half to do their routines together

- taylor has a popcorn addiction, cuz girl tf are you doing having a bag of popcorn every night before bed (me 2 girl)

- after the phantom dimension none of them really fw media type horror things, everyones watching little kid cartoons to try and sleep afterwards

- logan is a lot stronger then he looks, i feel like hes not just textbook smart but also shares an interest in auto mechanics and likes to work on old vehicles so hes pretty toned

- and vice versa why do i feel like taylor has an interest in computers/robots type of mechanics idk

- taylor and tyler were the twins that made up their own secret language when they were little and to this day still use it sometimes

- ash knows asl and this surprises ben as he also uses it since he doesnt talk, ash uses it because she gets to overwhelmed with noise and even talking can irritate her ears

Since you said it's ok to send you random ask, i've always found your "monsters" design to be really really gorgeous, and I wanted to know : in any form of media you've interacted with, what's PEAK monster design for you ?

i have been thinking about this ask alot bc ... i dont ... know? theres a problem with what counts as a monster really too, most are either some sort of anthro/furry or the horror gore type of monster that instills you more with disgust than awe

i guess theres some i really like but idk if thats what id call 'peak' (though its rarely JUST the design but their vibe and stuff too);

(its a lot of zelda.. sorry)

Eldra, Farodra and Naydra (engl Dinraal, Farosh(?)) though Eldra is def my fav one of them, i like how they are a little more less typical dragon- with the fur around the neck the floppy ears and kinda goofy face yet manage to be the most ethereal, awe inspiring creature i have ever seen in a game with how they act and are presented as (in BOTW!!! do not mention anythign sonau/zonai with stupid magic pebbles to me about them i will manifest worms into your tea)

Leunen (Lynels) (botw) -i could not find a better picture wtf, fav are white and silver ones) FINE they had some pretty neat new horn designs in totk- idk i just like them alot, rather simple if you think about it, horse lion plus horns- but its so well put together it just kinda scratches my brain in a good way (also how intelligent they clearly are, like the way they fight and act and also even their death animation is so??? huh?? you are just gonna treat them like any other mindless monste- *remmbers they treat ganondorf even even worse all things considered* .. nevermind you're good)

'Beast' Ganondorf (twilight princess) its my favorite beast ganon design (even if it technically is just kinda a man boar .. again) though if ww gan had a non puppet beast form that one would most definitely be my fav lol (i will not get over the fact that some descriptions call this a hideous beast EXCUSE ME???? WHERE???) (honorable mention here, darkbest ganon from botw, pig on fire but it looks cool as fuck)

Nimbusgarde (ww) .. (engl .. darknuts?) do i need to say anything? (i could throw alot of ww design here) not sure if it counts as monster but they are not human so ????

the pathless bosses- (here in order, Cernos, the Godslayer, and Kumo) all of them are rad as hell (except for the final version of the godslayer ... liek im sorry but it looks to boring compared to any other one lol) again not just the design but man do i love them

since i dont know what would count as a monster or no i could just list my fav characters here bfmjbfmjsbmj like radahn (elden ring) is just kinda a zombie, aurelion sol (league of legends) is a space dragon, the forest god in princess mononoke, Narisha (skyward sword- sky whale)- i could go on but this post is long already (honorable mention to Omus in nausicäa, weird bugs but also something divine, though it is much more how they are treated and the vibe etc)

in all honesty though i cant think of one that i would describe as perfect, what i want of a monster design is to be ... cool but also a little weird, big hulking monsters that have something off about them and something that makes them 'other', but also not, as much as i like bloodborne, just bloody gory messes of rotting flesh, AND not just as a monster to kill, i just crave a game or otherwiese piece of media where the cool monsters arent just there for you to kill- the perfect one i guess would be something kinda big scary weird and off but while non verbal clearly not a mindless beast?

and here is the thing; my own characters do not furfill that, my designs are really rather conservative, much to my dismay, anthro of a mix of animals, maybe an extra arm thrown in- Eadrya, one of my favorites, is really just a blueish furry (yes they have fur) and their demon form is a mix of seals and catfish with some extra arms, too many teeth and a mouth that goas wayy to far (if they want) - Shargon is a feather dude with extra arms and his demon form is really just a chinese type dragon crossed with a bird, throw some darts at the color wheel, done

together with my problem of my monster characters losing their 'otherness' vibe within the story rather fast bc the majority of my characters are non human and speak and you see them in all sorts of emotions and parts of life- they lose that divine, unknown vibe and i HATE that that happens, i want them more akin to the forest god in mononoke but thats not possible unless i start from scratch

and i really dont mean to make myself look bad to sound self depre- ... however you spell that; i really am rather dissatisfied with my own designs but mostly just roll with what i got bc i never seem to be able to actually achieve what i want

even my redesigns often really make things LESS interesting (unless maybe the og was just ... human, but they are blue eyed with golden hair and white so that makes them divine you seE-), the skyward sword dragons as i redesigned them made them much more classical dragon, in part intentional bc i was drawing a connection of them becoming the botw dragons at some point, but by all means the canon design is much more weird and unusual than what i did with them, you could apply the same to even demise, his canon design might seem a little uninspired but really what did i do? inject him with some classic satan spice like that makes it in any way less stereotypical evil demon ??? lol

im sorry this post devolved into whatever this is but i really am trying to answer sincerely, i am confused about it myself, what counts as a monster, what doesnt, there must be more that i really loved but why cant i think of them, why do i design characters like this when i really want something much more different, i dont know, i feel like my brain is in a cage, why do i keep making things less interesting in an effort to make it interesting, am i falling into the corporate trap of cool sells who am i what am i doing

(theres a zelda artist with a style so strikingly genuis in shape, color and just .. DESIGN that i want to chew my nails off bc i cannot design like them, their designs and redesigns are so different yet sensical and so full of crisp shapes i have never seen before it drives me nuts and i would want to give them a shoutout but i think they dont like me so aaaaarhekjbfhgdknbgdfklbg)

okay but the Naruto universe is so fucking weird yet funny if you explain it and question it.

first, you have this lil orphan broke kid ninja boy named after a fishroll. then, you have an emo kid who acts like he got parents and a good way in life despite the fact he’s equally as much of an orphan as Mr. Broke-Blonde-Bitch. THEN you have this normal chick with pink hair who signed up for absolutely none of this nonsense yet got dragged into it. tell me why it’s these three against the world yet none of them can function together? it’s like watching ferrets hyped up on PCP fight over raw spaghetti noodles. dont even get me started when they were in school together, i can bet every person here 6 cents that at some point Sakura aka Ms. Fuckall got tired of Naruto and Sasuke’s bullshit and just tried to abandon them at an animal shelter.

anyways, once the team gets good at teaming they haul off to take their lil ninja exams. who do they meet? some kid named Gaara with smudged eyeliner and shaved brows. he’s a red-head, that’s cute. oh and he can control sand and tries to kill every child in the exams because his dad is a piece of shit hipster. who else do they meet? a kid named Rock Lee who can kick really hard, a girl named Tenten who wishes for all of us to stfu, and poor Neji who can’t keep doing this. there’s also some guy named Guy. yeah, the chunin exams nearly flop because Gaara doesn’t know how to act right.

all this is happening but the pivotal of it all? Sasuke decides to be extra emo and FUCKS OFF TO KILL HIS HALF BLIND SICKLY OLDER TWINK BROTHER.

then, Naruto decides he wants to harness his powers and FUCKS OFF WITH AN OLD ASS BUSHY HAIRED MAN WHO WRITES PORN. Jiraiya needs to be studied on a microscopic spiritual level. he is why SCP’s exist.

who let these kids out? i told you all not to feed the animals and look what happened. now theres beef between a group of kids and the akatsuki.

not just that but the twink brother named Weasel is being stupid and enables his own murder. yeah he basically wants Sasuke to come for his ass. meanwhile, Naruto comes home bigger, better, older but still broke and full of fox demon. still, not a single soul except his friends and teachers like him. shit gets even more wild, it becomes knock-off Cheetah Girls vs. The World.

wait you HATED sweet pool omg. its my least fave out of the n+c releases ive read so far mainly for how flat the characters felt to me and how clumsy a lot of the plot felt but i rlly loved the aesthetic/general vibe it had so thats rlly interesting to me,if ur up for it id love to know what didnt click for u ^_^

when i judge how bad a VN is with my brother (avid VN reader as well) we use Sweet Pool as a basically "zero" on the scale of professional, large VNs.

Sweet Pool's writing was WEIRD. I can do some weird, thats fine. Weird ass-birth stillborn meatslugs? ... okay, ill... look past that. ok i wont lie, the constant ass-birth was hard for me. i really did try to not judge it on that but like, there was almost constant buttbirth going on. ive made peace with this by now, kinda making a link to myself about the connections of it to being an unintentional trans narrative in many ways and all but like. it was WEIRD. and kinda hard to read. it didnt strike me as horror, it struck me as "weird fetish i have to sit through. oh my god is he licking tha- PUT IT DOWN Z-DAWG. Ok christ."

The characters were also weird. I laughed out loud in surprise at how stupid the "i saved you from being raped <3 SO I CAN RAPE YOU, PSYCH!" scene was. like wtf was that??????

i did not enjoy the art style, i think its the ugliest N+C art style yet and since. not my thing. many angles and proportions look weird. the CGs looked stiff and uninspired. it NEVER grew on me. no shade to people who liked it or the artist it just.. wasnt my thing. not unbearable but just. not. as good as it could have been and def took away from the experience.

i didnt like any of the endings. it wasnt scary it was weird. the pacing was weird. for being a BL, it had very little love just... wtf. and im so sad abt what they did to mikoto bc i liked him before uuuUuUuUu yandere plot twwwwist. bleh.... dollar store keisuke! they would FORCE the true end so you maybe go, "maybe the true end is satisfying and good an-" no. its not. fuck yoU!

sweet pool was painful. i dont know how else to put my experience. i 100%d it because i 100% everything when i can, and i was literally pushing through like a hiker in a snow storm to finish it. every 3 seconds was secondhand embarrassment. the "jerking off in the classroom" scene comes to mind. i got up and took a break for that one because it was just unbearable. idk how anyone could slap one out to this vn. im not sure if anyone ever has. which makes the sex weird. actually, i dont think there was a single consensual ero scene unless u count the true end fusion scene.

the aesthetic/vibe was... ehhh... not super unique IMO. school setting immediately put me off, a more gritty and cool toned, dark palate made things interesting but, its still a "weird thing happens in high school" story. kinda bored to death of HS settings in VNs.

i did like the protag tho! he was interesting and it was nice having a chronically ill protag even if it was just a plot device to make him be able to miss school while going on a... dark apartment birth marathon.

sweet pool felt like a bizarre, amateur fanfiction for a fetish i dont have.

the soundtrack is very memorable as well as the opening pre-game sequence, i liked the concept of the choice button meanings, but they were very rough in actual use.

this is my favorite CG i appreciate the aquarium set up instead of a fish bowl (though he could do better...)

hello, here to share my opinions on troye's new album (sorry if it gets too long) 😌 as i said im absolutely OBSESSED with this album. like i always enjoyed his music, but to show this level of iconography????? CMON????? there is one problem i have with the album tho: every time i try to listen to it from start to finish, i get delayed by the fucking masterpiece that is "one of your girls" :/ every time this song comes on, i have to listen to it at least 5 times. wtf troye???? i would say it's my fave on the album, but that's an understatement. that's the best song of the whole year for me. god. isnt this giving daft punk like hello????? THE MV ALSO?????? 🤯 okay moving on to the other songs sjsjdhdhf u know that i loved all the singles, and they sound even better in the context of the album!! there is not a song i dont enjoy in this album, i couldnt even make a ranking because they are all so good. overall, THE BEATS in this album got me floating in space and shaking my ass at the same time. okay, first of all, i love your thoughts and i couldn't agree more about everything you said! <3 i keep coming back to this album, idk what troye put in it but it's SO addicting aaah! oh i absolutely understand the obsession with "one of your girls" bc GOD, it's amazing. chef's kiss on every level, the lyrics are perfect, the production is 10/10, the mv!!! (and yeeees, the daft punk vibes!!) are you kidding me?!! imo, the mv perfectly shows the transition between this album and troye's previous albums, he's confident, he's serving and he knows what he wants! and that's actually something i love about the whole album, it's very touching to see him being even more mature with his music and SO confident and it feels so freeing! genuinely, i'm so happy and grateful that i grew up with his music, it was veery important to me in my teenage years and it makes me so happy to see him grow as an artist (and person) waaah🥹 and i think that's also why i love this album so much, bc it's another step! We made it out of the Underdark, through the cursed shadowlands and are safely camping at the Last Light.

This time around I didn't fuck up the Last Light fight multiple times so everyone is still alive! Hurrah! I will have a store in Act 2! His Majesty still died though, which I am sad about. From the position of his body it looked like he was trying to trip up one of the winged horrors by winding around their ankles.

Back at camp that night and again, the companions are being weird.

I no longer feel bad for saying no. The idea of Lily being just, "sorry buddy, but I really need to pee and you're in the way" had me wheezing.

I am actually going to go against the grain and say they would be loving (if flawed) dads. Specifically, because family is considered super important in old school religious mythos. It's a sign of importance to have well-raised children and that blood connection can start entire wars. Dont get me wrong. They are terrible caretakers for someone who's pregnant, but they are damn decent dads (by hell standards).

Satan is... well, nothing changes. His partner is growing another life? He is so blasé about it. It's just another living thing, no big deal. He is high-key upset about the change in sexual intimacy as the pregnancy goes on. But fuck yeah! He's gonna have a kid? That's his and everyone better respect that baby bump! He is a man of contradictions.

As a dad: He will beat the living shit out of anyone that messes with his kids, then he will let the the kid get in a few punches for practice. That kid will have zero emotional regulation, for good and bad. He will watch the kid, but he's not changing his plans to do it. That means he's taking the kid to the bar and on the battlefield. It's good for them, or so he claims.

Mammon is suddenly a little to protective. He basically would have MC on lockdown and getting them anything they ask for when they ask for it. He'd be so fucking excited and be loving that belly, especially later in the pregnancy (the sex never stops). He thanks MC all the time for having his child.

As a dad: He is carrying his kid on his shoulders. Everything in the world is his, but that child is doubly his. That also means he can share everything in the world with his kid... well, almost anything. It's still his. That little hellion has full reign of his kingdom without supervision (MC is not pleased, but it's the demon way).

Beelzebub decides it's time for MC to start wandering with him. There is no way he's leaving his pregnant partner all alone when he can hold and appreciate them instead, but he refuses to stop traveling. Is every location safe? Fuck no! But he likes having them around.

As a dad: He is the most absentee of the parents (since a very young child cannot travel so freely). He still visits often and comes home with so many gifts so his kid can see where dad has been. Final child raising decisions are made by MC since he is not around as much. His kid gets used to it, even if they wish he was there more... baby doesn't hang in Avisos either (because mafia). Maybe when he's older...

Leviathan definitely had a panic attack and went unresponsive for a while. Not even into the coffin. Unresponsive. How does one pregantè? He will be the worst caretaker and helper for the pregnancy because he'll be fluctuating between happiness and horror. He is so glad to see his baby growing big and strong, but I genuinely think he'd see pregnancy as... unsavory (the thing lives inside of you and steals your body's nutrients? He has a few horror terrors that do that! Wtf!)

As a dad: He has an entire kingdom eager to wait hand and foot on this child (and the person carrying that child). He's actually jealous of how easy his kid has it and how much attention they get from MC. Can you imagine how the nobles refer to the child as "little prince(ss)"? Leviathan still goes into his coffin when it gets to be too much to deal with, but sometimes he may bring the kid with him. He will protect the kid from the horrors, don't worry. Hi you dont have to respond to this but a while back, I recommended Stephen Baxter (sci fi author) to you and forgot to mention the caveat that his books vary wildly in content and quality. And that some of his books have Very Weird sex scenes involving ancient hominids and I think there's even one with mammoth sex in it??? So to avoid that, here's my personal favorites, in no particular order

Ring - a space ship accidentally ends up adrift in the far future. Equal parts wonder and existential dread, 10/10. Also describes humans who've been alive for several hundred years with nanotech, for better or for worse, and I wouldn't quite call it body horror??? But it sure is something

Manifold Time - the first of his books I ever read, back in 2005 lol. A handful of kids are born with super intelligence but are nearly impossible to communicate with. They're brought together and begin working on a mysterious project. Also a sentient Caribbean reef squid goes to space:)

The Vaccum Diagrams - this is probably the one I'd recommend the most. It's a series of short stories, all under the umbrella of a single premise, that begins in the very near future and ends at the twilight of the universe. While many of the stories are bleak and alien, humanity still retains its spark of, well, humanity.

Okay that's all. I couldn't stand the idea of you picking up one of his bad ones someday and being like 'wtf is this😱'

Mc being the one to take out the sword in the stone.

Like NRC goes to RSA and there's this sword in an anvil onto of a stone in the middle of the campus and some prince overbloated and Mc got separated from their friends and had to improvise since the overbloater found them first.

So they rushed to the sword they saw and everyone getting there at the last second where Mc took the sword out like a prince and pointed at the overbloater.

And everyone just stops bc there's a light coming from heaven and angels are singing-

Even the overbloater even stopped and in shock transformed back.

Mc: oh thank God I don't know how to use a sword-

RSA: ALL HAIL THE KING/QUEEN/MONARCH!

Mc: *looks at the sword then at the stone and anvil.....and it clicks its like the sword in the stone* Fuck.

Mc is then crowned the all mighty ruler above every other Monarch. And they're just sitting there like wtf do I do. Ambrose then walked I'm "Huh I knew you were destined for somethign I just didn't know what." Mc then just sits there as their friends come to them.

The first years are asking to be apart of their court. Which Yuu says yes to. The royal boys of the group are like "Holy shit I could marry them-" and the ones from lower family's are like "Ayo slide some money-" Riggie is quaking in his boots bc holy shit your loaded now-

All the overbloater feel horrible bc the one destined to rule over the lands like a true monarch is here and they almost killed them.

Crowley is having a field day with this "I knew you were a good bet to chose!" Mc orders Crowley to be banished from their Palace. Sebek and Jack are kinda like bodyguards now and yeah.

Mc: No bc fr how do I rule a country-

Leona: idk I'm the second in line so-

Malleus: *sighs* I'll help come on well start with the basic lessons from Lilia.

To me it kinda makes sense since Yuu is basically acting as all the heros when fighting the overbloats. (I also have a angst idea for when Malleus overbloats.)

Me thinking of RSA how they would see Yuu as a person in distress since their such a nice person in a Villian school. There was like 100 RSA boys.

But they don't tell Yuu they kidnap them. And Yuu punches them and runs to the Hall of Mirrors.

They rushed in Heartslabyul and Scream for Ace and Duece while Grim is setting fire to the RSA boys. Ace sees them first and jumps into action and Deuce runs in too swinging at all the boy's trying to grab Yuu.

Trey ends up hearing everything and Carter rushes to them Cater sends out a text to everyone and Riddle gets it.

In rage Riddle sends Off With Your Heads to 4 different RSA students.

Yuu continues on to Savanaclaw where Jack smells their destrest really all of the Savanaclaw boys they ended up seeing Caters text and jump into action they got 8 RSA boys and Leona was going to use Kings Roar but Yuu ran to him and told him NO-

Ruggie pickpockets all the rich boys. And made them trip and follow him. Jack ran at Yuu and booked it into the Hall and into Octavinelle.

Azul already saw the text and had Floyd and Jade ready.

He let Jack and Yuu in but when the RSA boys came they got 6 of them old was yelling leave leave shrimpy alone while Jade gave his Sadist smile.

The RSA boys screamed for help and Azul smiled at them "I can male a contract to help you~" bit non of them were willing to.

Jack continued to run away from the ones that rushed out of Octavinelle.

And now in Scarabia Yuu screamed for Jamil and Kalim.

Jamil ordered his boys to throw sand in the RSA boys they got 10 of them. Kalim a little bit mad at them for trying to take his friend made Oasis maker in then to drown them for a little. And Jamil used Snake Whisper on them to listen

Jack continued to Pomefiore where Vil was itching to show these RSA boys who is the fairest. Epel used himself as a distraction and Rook shot them down with electric arrows.

Vil gave the students gas masks and made sleeping smoke bomb to know out 20 RSA kids but Jack continued and made sure jot to breath in the gas.

Ignihyde was easy to get in and hide because of the security Idia had he saw the text and wanted to punish the normies trying to take his player two!

Ortho didn't like how his Older sibling was going to get kidnapped so he did a scan on all the RSA kids.

They got 40 of them. But Jack continued but ended up falling when Beast got him. Jack yelled for Yuu to run and they did so.

And to the final dorm Diasomnia.

The rest of the RSA boys were after them. 12 were left. Sebek and Silver got to them knocking down 6.

Then Lilia came and got 5 one got away and rushed to Yuu.

Yuu got cornered while this happened all the NRC students rushed in and to Yuu.

They saw Yuu was cornered and wad going to butt in but then some of the Defeated RSA students began to fight again.

Yuu: BACK UP!

Rando 'Prince Charming': Come fair one I can free you! *grabs their arm hard hut dosent know*

Yuu: ok then yOU ALL ASKED FOR IT *this caused some of the students to stop fighting and Look at them*

Yuy took in a big deal breath and bellowed

I dont know if I’ve just been reading too much toxic shit so it’s been weighing on my mind lately. Do you think Messi ruined PSG? It breaks my heart to ask this really as I’m a huge Messi fan but I guess it’s safe to say his time with Paris has not lived up to what we imagined it to be. I get so protective of him (lol i dont even know why cause he’s like a millionaire) and sometimes all I read from PSG fans is that Messi is the reason for their downfall. As a Messi fan, I think I’ve been spoiled to never had the experience of fans wishing my fave would leave their club. I never had that experience with Barcelona. With Argentina, it was a little more complicated especially between 2014-2018 but I think the global love for Messi helped muffle the negativity of Argentines who wanted to stone him. But with PSG? It’s like everybody and their mama wants him out and hates him and blames him for their club’s current state. So this experience has really been wild to me as I find myself for the first time dealing with vitriol comments from fans who want him out of their club. 😩 This sounds really corny. But like I take it so personally. Lmaoooo I sound so pathetic. I just wish his time with Paris had been better. Wish there wasnt as much drama and toxicity. Today, I know already they will get humiliated and the thought of Messi being the face of this defeat again kills me.

It’s become a blame game lately. Fortunately for me, I also follow a bit of F1 because of Lewis and I’m excited this season. I think whatever happens with Lewis and Merc this year, I’m just going to enjoy his presence and racing. I think watching Seb last season taught me that.

We are really watching our sporting heroes age and retire huh? It feels so overwhelming as they have defined so much of my childhood. Seeing them grow old and in the final years of their career makes me emotional. When I watch Messi play football, I still feel like a little girl. And now he’s at the age of his finals years playing elite football and I’m old. It’s cruel but also funny how time flies and suddenly we are all older.

Hello my sweetest darling. You may ask for I shall answer. Personally I've wanted Messi out of this club too. Not because I didn't like him or because he's my favorite player but because the dawning horror of knowing he doesn't 'fit' has been overwhelming. It's weirdly complicated and depressing looking at the situation from a Messi admirer but not exactly a die hard fan's perspective. When he originally was supposed to sign with us I was both super excited because wtf wow and wary because I didn't think it was such a good idea. We had so many holes in our team, Messi 100% didn't want to be here if he had any other options and our team had just gotten rid of our captain who was one of the most loyal players in the club because they felt he was getting too old. All in all, this was a ticking time bomb waiting to go off. Add the Kylian situation, the neybappe strife and Kylian choosing to stay which earned him our undying loyalty and you have whatever psg is now.

Honestly, when the season first started and these idiots performed so well I nearly cried in relief because fuck, thank God it all worked out. Maybe things will calm down now, but nop, I was wrong and now here we are, disarrayed, disjointed, at each other's throat.

Messi doesn't belong here. It's not his fault and he's doing everything he can. He's working his ass off but the fans are always going to choose Kylian and I can't blame them for it. Whether Kylian chooses to leave in the end, he is Parisian and he's spent seven years here. He didn't have to, but he did and that means the world to psg, to us. But Messi is Messi. He is a living breathing legend and it fucking hurts seeing people turn on him and blame him. I was fine with it when he was at barca and we were playing them but he's here now. Doesn't he deserve some level of respect? Some kindness? So what if he didn't want to leave Barca. That was his home, who can blame him. But he's working hard now. He's here. So while he is, why hate him? Just appreciate the literal best player in the world while we have him.

On the other hand, so many Messi fans migrated to psg with him and honestly the obnoxiousness of some fans has driven the psg fans nuts so I can also see why they're lashing out. When every good thing the team does is attributed to Messi when our other players (especially Mbappe) are tributing equally as much if not more, I too have my shackles rising. Truth is, we don't need Messi. Not like Argentina did, not like Barca did. We would have been a clown club with or without him and dealing with loyal (only) Messi supporters who want us to act like the sun rises and falls with him is draining so yeah, I can also see why for that reason fans might want him to just leave.

In the end, I guess Messi is to you guys what Totti was to me and all roma fans. If Totti had been forced out of Roma and had to play for Man city or something I would be furious if they didn't appreciate him. I would be pissed if they acted like he was no big deal and wanted him to leave. Because fuck that, he is a legend, he is my legend and if we could have kept him we would so how dare they. So yeah, it's a redicuously stupidly complicated situation and it's so exhausting it makes me almost burst into tears because I came here to watch my idiot boys run around after a stupid ball and this is not what I signed up for.

Fans from both sides should just stop talking and enjoy a team (terrible as they are right now) that will never be see the likes of again, play togher. If they can do that, I think this fandom experience will be a lot more enjoyable. Til then, I'm just gonna stay on the way side supporting my circus quietly and staying out of the discord because it's frankly tiring and I can't anymore.

this might be the hardest question im gonna answer in my entire life.. *proceeds to respond with the longest word vomit ever known to mankind*

1.) i am a certified lottie matthews gurlie : )) she's just been such an interesting character throughout the series like i never really know what's going on with her (im pretty sure pookie doesn't either even if she insists she does lol.. istg every lottie scene is just me being absolutely flabbergasted and in a constant state of “WTF?”) and i know they all experienced varying degrees of trauma (i dont wanna turn this into a competition of who's had it the hardest pre and post crash) but i think lottie's character has one of the most tragic storyline, esp her life post-crash

2.) RESIDENT COLD GIRL JACKIE TAYLOR! this gurl was serving nothing but iconic vibes and lesbian comphet behavior and i am here for it. i was honestly surprised to learn that a lot of ppl dont like jackie cause she was a bit of a spoiled brat and while i do agree (cz she is LMFAO pooks literally died of pettiness) i feel like it's not necessary to paint her as either black or white cause she's also got a really complex character. like sure she has her mean girl moments (mostly because of the environment she was raised in and i think she wasn't really aware of that trait until shauna brought it up during their fight) but she's rarely ever malicious and i think she would've outgrown that trait given the chance. but also it could just be because im a sucker for mean-girl-highschool-queen-bee characters making me a huge jackie taylor apologist !

3.) misty quigley. no words of appreciation for her—maybe her (tho unplaced and is often expressed in the wrong ways)—loyalty and dependability, still tho she was literally just straight up batshit insane.. she killed 2 people (??), is responsible for them being trapped in the wilderness, and honestly speaking needs to be admitted to the ward cause that girl is psychotic but adult misty was so funny, she immediately became a fav.

ALSO must insert the yj background characters, i dont know their names i only know akilah and mari, but i love those girls so much season 2 was absolutely unhinged cause the mains are going through a horror show and these bitches r in the background like it's a mf camping trip playing cards and are like “.. oof bestie 👀 would you look at that? it's snowing pretty hard bet it's freezing cold out there 👀 ngl itd be nice to have a lottie mat-stew right now 🤤 but i do hope she gets home safely 😥... just.. you know hahah... if she ever happens to.. yk 🥰”

regarding promised neverland (ur replies were turned off, i hope it was just a general thing and not a sign u didnt want any responses to this, if it was the latter feel free to ignore), i watched s1 and never rly watched s2 so i cant say how it is, but i DID finish the entire manga which i never do so it was p enjoyable and despite its many issues, racism being like. a prime one, which ud know from s1, it raised some interesting moral/philosophical questions and had a pretty satisfying ending, so if u dont mind the uhhh human conspumption and psychological torture/trauma/etc and racist depictions (i cant remember if there was anything else after the character that was covered in s1, i dont think so? it was a long time ago and most chars are either demons or the mostly white kids) and any other content warnings that i havent listed here, id recommend it! mostly enjoyed the lack of romance and wack plot and a few blorbo-worthy chars

(part two of this ask) -- (i forgot to add bcs i just remembered it, i did have a discussion abt this w my friends who watched s2 way back in 2019 (but didnt read the manga like me) and who were like wow this sucked and it was essentially just me being like wtf they took out so much of the manga plot!! why did they change thing x and y!! so ig my answer is that the manga is decently different and i didnt have a negative reaction to it as a whole, so even if u dislike s2 id say give the manga a try and see if u like it more okay, this in addition to someone else's tags convinced me to read it! i actually love the psychological horror stuff and horror in general (you should see my junji ito collection), and the lack of romance in a series about children works just fine for me lol. thanks for the messages!
