Figuring out how to put Scarecrow's fear gas into a vape cartridge seems like a good idea tbh. Microdose that sh*t, not only would it build an immunity to the fear toxin itself, but constant mild hallucinations of your worst fears would build an immunity to real terrifying situations (you can't show me anything worse than what I see everyday). Why has noone done this?

Leon Kennedy X Chubby! Reader

Leon returns home to his partner and takes some time to recover

(Title comes from the song “My Heart is Buried in Venice” by Ricky Montgomery)

Leon sighs as he steps out of his car, looking up at the apartment building. He drags his feet up the stairs completely exhausted. He rubs his face as he trudges up each step, he arrives at a familiar door a bright welcome mat greeting him as he pulls his keys out of his pocket. He was sore, gross, and beyond exhausted. He unlocks the front door hearing music playing as he opens it.

"Hey, I'm home." He says softly as he kicks off his shoes and let out a sigh. However, he smiles as he sees you.

"Hey!" You hug him tightly, taking him a little off guard but a fond smile is on his face as he hugs you back. "God, I missed you..." You say softly causing him to tighten his hold on you.

"Missed you too sweetheart..." He squeezes gently feeling his body against yours. He takes a deep breath and feels his body finally realizing.

“Have you had dinner yet?” You ask him softly, looking at him concerned moving away slightly from his hold.

“Not yet…”

“Well you came at the right time, dinner is almost ready. You just relax, go take a shower, unpack.” You tell him, giving him a gentle kiss on his cheek.

“Is that a suggestion or demand?” A smirk comes to Leon lips.

“Depends.” You reply, causing a light chuckle from him. He kiss you one last time before heading to your shared bedroom. He drops his bag onto the floor by the closet. “Also, put your clothes in the laundry basket I’ll get it!” You call out to him from the kitchen.

“Baby, I can get it.” Leon calls back.

“Nope, you need to focus on relaxing.”

“Y/N.”

“Leon.” He sighs out softly knowing that he can’t fight this.

“Fine, but you better not complain.” He replies shaking his head, but a smile comes to his lips that he can’t fight.

“Oh yeah, 'cause I’m just known for complaining.” You respond with a smile clear in your voice. Leon chuckles softly and does as you asked, placing his clothes in the basket. He looks at you cooking in the kitchen and feels a warm sensation fill his chest. He heads off a smile still on his face as he goes to take a shower. His thoughts on you and how much he appreciates what you do for him, he takes a shower quickly getting dressed in some relaxing clothes. Heading out to you in the kitchen, you don't notice him as you finish setting up the table for dinner. You jump a bit when you suddenly feel arms wrap around your waist, he places his chin on your shoulder letting out a soft sigh. You chuckle softly as he relaxes. "Comfortable?"

"Mmhm... I missed you so much." Leon replies as he squeezes you a little tighter. You were the best part about coming home, he loved just being with you. You were so soft and sweet, always finding a way to make him feel safe and warm. He loved wrapping his arms around you, you were so cozy. It was the best way he could describe it, he would just look at you and feel like he was at home. He doesn't quite remember dinner since he was just so tired, but happy to eat something that was home-cooked.

A show Leon is not paying attention plays on the TV, you were invested but he just wanted to be with you. He lays his head down on your stomach and sighs out softly. He closes his eyes content and comfortable. You smile fondly at him, running your hands through his freshly washed hair.

"Missed my favorite pillow." He says in a sleepy tone as he snuggles closer to you.

"Really now?"

"It's so soft and warm..." He adds on as he relaxes further against you.

"Well, I'm glad my extra flab can be so helpful and comfortable" You joke laughing softly. He lets out a small laugh but smiles looking up at you.

"I love you... so much..." He tells you sincerely, his smile fading as he looks into your eyes. Just trying to communicate what he could through his eyes.

"I love you too Leon... more than you know." You reply softly before he pulls you down to kiss him. You can feel the soft smile on his lips as he kisses you, as your lips seprate you see his loving gaze.

"I'm so happy to be home..."
