Soap soap soap! I just had a thought!

So I served in the military and we would often do a sort of high stake hide and seek as a training exercise. We would have Night vision googles plus full battle rattle (full gear) and we were tasked to find a target within a specific time or we failed and were technically “dead”.

Since price is having their omega participate in these training sessions what if price had their omega act like a high stake individual. The omega would have a vest, and NVGs to navigate a pitch black maze like course and their goal would be to evade and flee the building before they were found.

But they could also toss articles of clothing around to throw off the alphas so they can’t got straight to the source (such as scent pads that were laid on the omegas neck before the exercise), just though it would be a fun addition to the AU and I guess you could also say it was a hint of sorts ;P

What's more distracting than the pack omega running around lol its motivating and challenging at the same time.

THE BEATLES - NEVER BEFORE HEARD RINGO STARR PERSONAL TAPE RECORDINGS FROM 1966 TOUR - SAMPLE CLIP.

Two Philips C-90 cassette tapes and one Philips C-60, two with handwritten labels (very likely in the hand of Ringo Starr) 'INDIA' and 'MAHARESHI' the third with a sticker affixed bearing handwritten label 'MANILLA (sic) INDIA'. All three contain recordings made by Ringo Starr, likely on a personal tape recorder (see here for image of Ringo returning from tour carrying what appears to be a tape recorder), of various events throughout (mostly) 1966. All recordings have very likely never before been published. Approx 248 minutes of recordings across the tapes. At one point Ringo describes the tapes as 'a talking record of our trip to Germany and Japan'. Across the three tapes, which contain hours of candid conversations with The Beatles, Brian Epstein and others within the inner circle during that period, a small selection of 'highlights' includes: - Brian Epstein discussing how to avoid paying tax/import/export charges when leaving Japan. - Numerous humorous interludes with Ringo recording his thoughts on the tours - often in an array of voices. - Band discussions of the set list for the Japan tour. - Recordings from the Budokan concerts (segments of 'If I Needed Someone' and 'Day Tripper') possibly from stage or close to stage itself, seemingly more likely from the band listening back to the recordings, whilst still in Japan. Also John asking Brian Epstein what he thought of the show. - Recordings from Manila inc thoughts on the hotel ‘pretty crappy’. - Extensive recordings from July 1966 whilst in India including the group experimenting with Indian musical instruments. - Extensive recordings of the Maharishi Mahesh Yogi - possibly recorded later than ‘66- approx 38 minutes worth. - Recordings of Ringo solo with piano performing ‘Don’t Pass Me By’, an early version without full lyrics. - Recordings of Ringo at piano performing two likely unreleased demos - one with refrain ‘have you seen the tulips grow’ and one seemingly a version of 'I Bought A Picasso' Provenance: purchased by the vendor as part of a collection of Beatles memorabilia. By repute - the original owner had been an acquaintance of Ringo Starr during the 1960s. Accompanied by CDs containing copies of recordings.

I was thinking about yours and somnatime's comments about The Trap being one-sided in terms of only addressing Cas's renegotiations, and then I thought about Sam and Dean going to Alaska and I wondered if Dean is being passive-aggressive. Leaving without telling anyone where he's going is a Cas thing, and maybe he wants him to have a taste of his own medicine.

I feel like I've pondered that before but not too deeply. You're talking about 15x11 The Gamblers, I presume.

In this episode, we see Sam awkwardly leave a sticky note for Cas, and then text to Eileen very actively in the episode.

INTERIOR – BUNKER LIBRARY – NIGHT [CAS turns the paper around and sees the note written by SAM. “Cas, we’ve gone to Alaska. Sam.”]

INTERIOR – IMPALA – NIGHT [SAM is checking the messages on his phone as it continues to chime. DEAN glares at the phone.] DEAN: Silent mode’s always an option. SAM: Yeah. Right. Sorry. DEAN: And how’s Eileen doing? SAM: She’s hanging in there. She thinks our plan sounds a little too good to be true. You know, maybe she’s right.

Dean gets irritated at the PING PING PING of Sam's phone. I think he's feeling some frustration in general not just because he's got IBS/heart burn and everything's going wrong but because, yeah, in 15x09 The Trap, his needs were not really expressed.

...which would probably center around Cas's lone wolf, unilateral decisions, secret-keeping, and going dark and etc etc, so yea. Sure, sometimes Cas's ghosting is justified, but then sometimes Dean's anger is justified, too. The point is he didn't really get to talk about his side, like, at all. (He mostly just laid his own mistakes and flaws but wasn't given the chance to talk about how the behaviors of his loved ones contribute to his frustration. No matter how extenuating and well-meaning their actions were, Dean is swallowing that kinda thing over and over again just to entice people to stay and it probably feels very...difficult.)

That in mind, I think you're onto something. It's not a stretch to assume going to Alaska could be something of passive-aggressive "taste of your own medicine" thing re:Cas. Here it definitely seems he's purposely being "dark," -- you could even call it Silent Mode.

And the worst thing is Cas doesn't even seem to react, haha. He doesn't actively wring his hands over check-ins and daily case safety in quite the same way Dean does. And Cas's comms-style is not nearly so clingy either, leaving Dean a little...hmm probably feeling like he needs Cas more than Cas needs him. Very frustrating indeed. (Add to the mix the previous fight, "You've been to Hell before," and it gets...messy and complex.)

We could suppose that even after everything, after their big fight that culminated in Cas leaving, Dean is still trying to goad a reaction out of Cas. (And more often than not, trying to get a reaction out of Cas is a losing game.) I think you're right that part of the reason Dean is pushing is because he was cut off before voicing his needs and feelings in The Trap.

I love this paragraph so much, not only because it's a great written piece that captures the soft, and almost dreamy feeling of the room, but also it's the proof that Dracula isn't an all powerful entity that controls the castle to his whims.

The wind of the castle where Jonathan is situated is extremely well cared. From the curtains to the bed, all of it is perfectly curated so the guest/prisoner (Jonathan) can see, and feel the power along with the elegance that Dracula wants to convey.

However, this room was overlooked. Maybe the Count thought that Jonathan wouldn't try to enter here, or maybe he simply didn't deem this room important enough to restore to its former glory.

But it's the room that tells Jonathan how time is still going, how there is a reality which is not touched by Dracula. The Count was able to fool time itself with all of his powers, but everything else around him remembers.

The fabrics degrade, the gold peels, the moth eats, the paint chips, and the dust settles. Dracula may be able to retain the opulence of his castle, so it can resist the passage of time just like him, but there is always that reminder how it is just a carcass that hides the neglect within.

So I've been playing with the Escaped Trio (Nettle, Briar, and Dream) in the Sims, and here are some things that happened that felt really crazily accurate.

(Sam was added and removed from the household so I could make infant Nettle with both her parents' genes).

Nettle's first random outfit had a hood to hide her face

Dream puts Nettle in a back carrier so he can do the chores around the house

Both Briar and Dream train with the punching bag automatically

Dream constantly cooks for Briar and himself, and he's slowly gaining back weight

Nettle first "First" was smiling at Briar

Briar and Dream got the added traits "Likes Outdoors"

Briar got the trait "Active" because he kept swimming in the ocean and using the punching bag

Briar did not talk to Nettle until Dream did a job, and he went to her crib and made a silly face (this is what made her smile)

I will (hopefully) send you pics of the fully designed house + the escaped trio once I'm less busy, but until then, I hope u enjoy this :)

OH MY GOD WHY DIDN'T I REALIZE IT LIKE THAT BUT ARMAND WAS AT ONE POINT OF TIME DANIEL'S KIND OF SUGAR DADDY!!!!

LOL! Sort of! Like Armand does give him wads of cash when he shows up randomly during the chase years (and bails him out of jail at least once - lol!)

And I'm guessing he probably paid for some of the many apartments they lived in during their time in London and New York. But Daniel actually supports Armand at least somewhat, too, or is at least helping. Like we know Daniel is paying for the airline tickets for their constant travel:

"What do you mean, millions!" Daniel had scoffed. "You throw your clothes away after you wear them, you rent apartments and forget where they are. Do you know what a zip code is, or a tax bracket? I'm the one who buys all the goddamned airline tickets."

Which means he'd probably paying for other expenses. Armand is stealing cars and things and getting money that way, but Daniel is contributing.

And then when Armand decides they need real, tangible wealth (with which to say, build their own island), he makes Daniel work for it. Daniel apparently leads the expedition (or at least arranges it) to find the sunken treasure Armand has located:

It had begun with a treasure find in the waters off Jamaica, Armand chartering a boat to show Daniel where salvage operations must begin.

And then later he's forced to spend his daylight hours fencing goods and turn the random jewels and riches into cold, hard cash or movable assets:

Pearls, rubies, emeralds, diamond tiaras, these he brought to Daniel. "Never mind, they were stolen, no one will claim them." And from the savage narcotics traders off the Miami coast, Armand stole anything and everything, guns, suitcases full of money, even their boats.

(Never forget it's canon Armand gave Daniel at least one tiara. I hope he kept at least one.)

So honestly while Armand does obtain crazy amounts of wealth for them both and build the Night Island (which probably Daniel also does a lot of work to make happen given that he's buying fleets of cruise ships and managing all kinds of stuff at that point), Daniel is not just hanging out in hot pants looking sexy while Armand takes care of him. Dude is earning his keep.

hello! i absolutely love your tcd au and have been lurking for a while now. i love what your doing but it can be hard to find specific info, for example, varying food issues or info on jellie, to make it easier ive made a google doc where im coping and pasting everything with the tcd tag and then tagging it in the google doc, that way its easier to search up specific info!

to find thing you just have to use the find and replace tool to search up the tag

for example, if you wanted to find all mentions of grian then you search (grian)

so far i only have 5 pages done but i wanted to get your approval and opinion on it before i went any further, please let me know if this is overstepping boundaries or if you have any ideas. it it linked below for a viewer
