red dead online is a TRIP. made a small group of friends and the range in which our posse is aged is a hoot. the youngest dude is 18, some guy inthink might be 20s, im at 27, a girl in her 20s, another in her 30s and a 50 yr old dad.

#idk everyone is used to it #but its new to me #like yall are like whatever #but listen...all i have played are the core pokemon games/the witcher 3/botw/horizon/both spiderman games #aside from battling in pokemon #this is my first time playing any kind of multiplayer and one in which i can voice chat with others from around the world #weve got a good group ill tell you that much #all fun and chill vibes #helping each other level up our roles/do bounties/moonshine and trader missions #looking fof collectibles #getting animal samples for harriet #helping fill up on supplies bu hunting for each othsf #doing a call to arms #we trade off on leading posses so we all get a chance #and 3 of us myself included #have a smaller group because we love collecting the colletsble items in this game #a fun scavenger hunt it is #really #and one of em is from up north #she speaks english but most of the time i end up speaking french #which is nice because i never get to practice #also love being called witty and funny which is what everyone we group up with seems to say at some point #which is kinda validating idk why #my self confidence is very high and i know im funny but my social interaction is limited since my exs friends were my social life and the #consensus being that i was funny #which i love because i love making people laugh and it comes naturally #i dont have a filter and lack impulse #i mean im not offensive of course but quick with jokes and such and thats my role

🌊 LUV2SWIM ☀️

I could not have expected to enjoy the Poolside Splash kit as much as I did. As soon as I got my hands on it I knew I wanted to take it even further. Of course the speedos needed a bulge on them, but I actually loved the whole vibe and theme and decided I wanted to do my own spin on the whole thing. I had originally planned to put this off for a week since I’m going on vacation next week and didn’t think I’d have time, but inspiration hit like a truck and I just couldn’t sleep until I finished this.

Luv2Swim is 9 items from the kit all edited & recolored in a new palette I created just for this very creatively called…SPLASH. I’ve got to have my neutrals so you’ll see some of that as well as a selection of brighter shades and pastels. Something for everybody I hope! Also made a selection of 15 prints I really loved to use here. Some of them you will have seen on some previous items and some are brand new finds.

If you’re curious about what you’ll get, here’s a breakdown.

4 speedos: Personally I was really only a fan of the one speedo shape, however I’m so glad we got as many as we did. If course 2 of them are flagged feminine but I swapped that over for these items. Added a bulge to all of them of course. Also one of them seemed to be completely missing a specular map so I learned how to make one and added that too. You’ll get all the original EA swatches as well as a second package in SPLASH + prints.

2 trunks: I’ll be honest I didn’t do much with these. The shorter trunks got a very minor mesh edit to make em a lil fuller in the front but the longer ones got nothing really lol. That said they both come in the same solids/prints swatches as mentioned before, as well as 14 “extras”, that is a few cute gradients and color blocked styles as well. Also added a specular to the shorter trunks because…trunks should be shiny!! I didn’t add specular to the longer trunks as..frankly the kinda read more as sweatpants to me and sweat pants should absolutely NOT be shiny. (Also the longer shorts are literally just me taking the exact item from EA and making it BGC..that was an accident but..oh well you’re welcome!)

2 tops: Thank tank top is absolutely my favorite in the game now by far! I loved that open shirt too we always need more of those! Just recolored these in 20 solids each and added a bit of shiny to the open shirt cause I feel like it should be kinda silky looking no?

1 sandal: The shoes EA have been making lately have been so good, but these are absolutely my new faves!! That chunky ass sole is just…chefs kiss! This was recolored in SPLASH colors as well as 15 prints across the strap and a handful of color blocked swatches (the same ones the trunks came in)

Again everything is BGC and has all maps but LODs are…well..nothing is particularly high poly so it’ll be fine I promise (I mean it’s mostly speedos so that’s like... no poly lol)

dave and buck are so special to me and here’s why.

in my now quite elaborate and maybe far removed perception of ttcc that is a melting pot of headcanons, i see dave and buck in a very specific light.

they are both here to waste company time. no way either of them are in agreement with the toon war. the way i think of it goes as follows: buck’s fight, for example, is undeniably just that, a fight. he is trying to beat you. he can’t exactly stand between toons and goons and go “hey fellath why don’t we talk it out?” lol. the fight is inevitable, because if he doesn’t do his job he’d get demoted or fired, which would take away any shred of power he had to begin with and render him effectively useless in doing anything about the war.

so what does he do instead? well, i can’t name another boss who has a chance of dropping items on their own team, much less raining jellybeans on the enemy. maybe that’s because my overall knowledge of ttcc is embarrassingly sparse, but i feel the need to point that out.

buck doesn't take anything seriously. he goofs around, turns the battle into a joke. i can’t tell you how much i laughed in my first fight with him, and that’s before i formed any solid ideas about him. he stands out to me because of that. i think he wants to give toons something to smile about, if they’ve gotta fight. if you can’t join ‘em, be a good sport, right?

and dave. oh man, dave! his beginning cutscene is LITERALLY a bunch of goons offering to punch your daylights out in order to get the fight over with, and what does he do? nah, he offers you onstage, gives you a fair fight. makes it into a show. dave isn’t taking this seriously either. he’s a tough hard hitter, but he didn’t instantly wipe you out for a reason. hell, he even fakes his death in the middle of the battle just for shits and giggles. he’s trying to dazzle, to give everyone a good story.

shall i recount the ending cutscene when you beat dave? it actually blows my mind again every time i see it. he offers congratulations in his defeat, respects a good brawl. he even gives you the rose in what may be the single hottest display of robot whimsy on this planet.

buck and dave both know how uncertain times are. they both understand the role they play in this war, and although they’re just cogs in the machine, they know how to feign some rustiness for the toon’s sake.

now as if all that weren’t enough, what can i possibly say about high roller that i haven’t already said a million times. high roller’s high roller, the game show that clowns on itself, the host that dishes out dizzying fun at the drop of a hat! like, is hr trying to get fired??

nothing about the show says ‘cog etiquette’. the whole event screams rebellion, like some sort of impossible, law-defying piano man. what do toons even stand to accomplish by showing up other than having a good time? the theatre is literally full of all kinds of managers and they do nothing. it was never about defeating anyone, it’s about finding a bit of joy in the worst of times. sure, hr loves to win, but she doesn’t particularly like to see others lose.

once you defeat hr, just like that, show’s over. the audience comprised entirely of enemies stays seated, and the toons skedaddle. i don’t know how one could possibly spin this into something truly competitive.

it fascinates me endlessly and i always have more to say about it but i have other things to do today so i have to tear away from the keyboard lawl.

AN INTRODUCTION

hello! Im Hatty, and this is the The Teufort Times (or TTT for short)! This is a newspaper about Team Fortess 2! Here we shall discuss community topics, updates, patch notes and balancing! And some more surprises. Feedback and reblogs are very much appreciated.

TODAY'S TOPIC: SNIPER

For some time, the TF2 community has talked a lot about sniper lately. Some say that he's perfectly balanced, while some say he's flat-out broken. Today, we will be exploring both sides of this argument.

THE PRO SNIPER SIDE:

quick-scoping takes a lot of skill.

if you let sniper throw his jarate at you and then hit proceed to hit you with the bushwacka its a 100% a skill issue.

he has low mobility and a low health pool.

THE ANTI SNIPER SIDE:

he can kill you from across the map.

quick-scoping can instakill 5/9 classes in the game. (and most of the times 8/9)

the jarate and bushwacka combo is busted, being able to one-shot 7/9 classes is not balanced in any way shape or form, specially for a class thats supposed to be weak on close quarters combat.

MY OPINION ON SNIPER:

look, im not an expert on sniper. He's my least played class. BUT, i have some ideias:

DAMAGE NERF APPLIED TO THE SNIPER RIFLES WHEN IN CLOSE QUARTERS:

so, my first ideia is that the sniper rifle would need a minimum distance to deal its full damage. When that minimum distance isnt met, the sniper rifle's damage would get chopped in half. And when that minimum distance is met, the rifle's damage would be back to normal.

BUFF THE SMG'S:

self explanatory, just give them a firing speed and damage bonus.

JARATE NERF:

i really dont know how to balance the jarate, but maybe a 15% slower deploy speed? 15% might be too much, so im not sure.

CONCLUSION:

Well, like it or not, sniper can be unfun to fight against. He isnt busted, and the outcry about sniper being broken was definetly influeced by the bot crisis, but he isnt the most balanced class in the game by a long shot (that title would go to demo or soldier in my opinion).

but in the end, we will always love this stupid australian bastard.

Akiren calling Akechi cute embarrassing pet names

Two scenarios:

Platonic Rivals. So Akiren would be calling Akechi cute nicknames just to be a little shit.

Or Akeshu/ShuAke version. They are official boyfriends and they both have different views on public affection. Akechi would rather keep their relationship a secret, so no public affection (which is not unlike actual Japanese citizens).

Then you have Akiren,--- THIS TALL POLITE, SECRETLY UNHINGED HUNK OF A DETECTIVE IS MY LOVER. WE BECAME A COUPLE ON (Insert exact month, day, and time here), HE HAS BEEN MINE EVER SINCE. I AM AWARE HE'S A CELEBRITY AND YOU FANS CAN GUSH OVER HIM ALL YOU WANT BUT KNOW THAT HE IS TAKEN AND I TAKE GREAT PRIDE IN KNOWING I HAVE SEEN AND PASSIONATELY TOUCHED PARTS OF THIS MAN YOU CAN ONLY DREAM OF.

Akechi: (covering his beet red flustered face with his hands) “If we weren't currently an item and I didn't love you I would choke the life out of you right now.”

Couple Akeshu/ShuAke during a Palace or Mementos Shadow fight. Joker passes the baton to Crow. Crow gets in battle stance ready to tear the enemy to pieces when—-

Faintly in the background Joker enthusiastically cheers “FUCK ‘EM UP, BABE!”

This causes the mood to completely change. Crow’s manic expression drops instantly, replaced with blush.

The other Thieves are in the background, Ryuji the most confused “What did he just call him, what just happened???....”

Pet names abbreviated from name:

Akechi = Aki or Chi/Chi-Chi (What makes the “Chi-Chi” nickname even more hilarious is that's a babyish alternative word Japanese kids use to refer to their fathers. So it's a babyish version of “Papa”. Take Anya from Spy X Family English Sub for example)

Goro = Go-Go and Go-Chan

When in Metaverse Attire:

Goes for both Robin Hood & Loki/Black Mask form = Birdie

Specifically Loki/Black Mask Form =

Loki = Lulu, Lou, Kiki,

First time Akechi heard the above nicknames while in Black Mask form, he immediately locks eyes with Akiren and stares at him for a couple seconds, internally trying to talk himself out of sending the leader of the Phantom Thieves on an express trip to Velvet Room Purgatory. Ultimately fails and Kasumi and the rest of the Thieves have to physically restrain Akechi from murdering their leader.

In future instances, Akechi just responds by either tuning Joker out or “”CaLmLy”” correcting Joker that it's “Loki”. If Joker refuses to behave and continues, gentle route goes out the window and Akechi goes straight for the throat.

So basically referring to Black Mask Akechi by cute abbreviated nicknames is a speed run of “How fast can I get Akechi to lose his cool and try to kill me?”

The Thieves don't understand why Joker willingly puts himself in those deadly situations but Joker just weakly laughs, on the floor with probably a few fractured and broken bones. He just raises his arm up and forms a thumbs up, managing to wheeze out a “Worth It..”

(Abbreviated pet names in Romance scenario, Akechi wouldn't react by attempted murder, obviously. But just be incredibly flustered and embarrassed. The game for AkiRen in this case would be “How fast can I make my boyfriend a blushing mess?”. Especially since he seems to pull out the pet names at intentionally the worst times, when in public or mid-Metaverse battle)

1. What has been your favorite time period to play in or which one are you most excited for?

The 20s because it’s so soon, but mostly the 50s-70s. 

2. Do you have a favorite piece of historical cc? (CAS or BB)

Very very hard to choose but these two hairs have to be at the top of my list

3. Who is your favorite sim currently?

Edmund! you wouldn’t think so bc I’m putting him through a lot rn but I truly adore him and I’m excited for what’s to come in his future 🤞🏽🤞🏽... Rosalyn is a very close second

4. What is your favorite world?

Windenburg at the moment.. so many lots ❤❤ Even though she’s irritating me bc I’ve been stuck there so long I can’t wait to get out Otherwise, I’d choose San Myshuno or Brindleton Bay.

5. Are you more gameplay or story focused?

Once upon a time it was both but recently I haven’t had much time to play :(( so story driven it is

Yes and no. They’re cute but forgettable. This gen was actually supposed to have three dogs bc they had the vibe of a three dog family, but it felt like a hastle with how many babies they keep birthing

7. What’s your biggest immersion breaking pet peeve with the game?

The constant phones, checking on toddlers/infants, and the endless townies i have to delete -- although I’m sure there are mods out there 

8. What’s your favorite in-game historical item? (CAS or BB)

From the frames to the paintings I love em all

9. What would you like to see as a new pack or asset to the game?

Not too historic but bands. Playable saxaphones, flutes, drums I need it

10. What pack do you think is invaluable as a historical simmer?

Idk what I’d do without Cottage Living or Get Together/Cats and Dogs (for the worlds)

11. Do you have a favorite mod to enhance historical gameplay?

No fireplace fires!! bc the 1890s was hell omflgjf The timeless mod is also mwah

12. What’s your ideal family size for playing?

However many members the story insists :’)) I really enjoyed gen 1 with only 5 family members. I was forced to play with 9 up until the lung came around - which is the biggest it will ever be bc never again

13. Do you use poses?

Heinously.

14. Do you use any overrides in your game?

Yess, a few for homework, brooms, vaccums, books (my fav), mops etc etc

15. Do you, or did you, play off-the-grid during your game?

Never.

16. What lifespan do you play on?

Long with a few fixes. 

17. What inspired you to start playing a historically?

My sister and I were talking about how much we wanted a good black period drama and that led into us into talking about the lack of black history shows/series set before the 80s. I was also watching some older movies at the time while going through one of my sims phases, leading me to historical cc, simblr, and thus the decades challenge. it’s now consumed a year of my life 👩🏽‍💻

Prompt is from this post, these are incredibly fun and now my fave ask game!

Also this is very out-of-context from my fic, but could very well happen later on hahah, I actually know exactly at which point in wygtya it may happen! And it's from a time in my fic which I am most excited to write about!! I felt very immersed because I did my research in alchemy while eating some of the best French cheese from Lidl that I’ve ever had while writing this!

Despite all the mudcrabs, horkers and swamps, Hjaalmarch had its beauties. The sun has set, giving everything a gorgeous, cold purple colour. 

“Right, so, according to my map, the next inn is here, which means…” Ravonna says, thoughtful and a bit disappointed.

“There’s no way we’ll arrive there before dawn.” Miraak finishes her sentence. “And it would prolong our journey by at least six hours, by my calculations.”

“By my calculations…” Ravonna says mockingly, gesturing with both her hands, making him laugh. “We should make camp here then, get a few hours of sleep each. Then get going at dawn. She goes straight to a small flower bed and plops down near it, opening the food knapsack.

“I suppose you don’t want to help with setting up the tent?” Miraak says with his hands on his hips, looking down at her. 

“No use in trying to make camp with an empty stomach. Believe me, I speak from experience. Come on, we have cheese and … bread. Yeah, that’s kind of it. I’m so bad at packing food. Gods.”

“Ah, don’t worry too much. Cheese and bread are good.” He says, carefully sitting down opposite her and preparing the mini-picnic, if one could call it that. “And we’ve got mead!”

“Aye, we’ve got 5 of ‘em. So we either share one or fight to the death for it.” She jokes, making him laugh again. He is wonderful like this. She wishes he’d be like this all the time. Despite the horrors they went through in the last few days, they can still banter and joke around. And yet, something has shifted in the atmosphere. She is not sure whether it is because it’s only the two of them now, or more than that. Yes, near death experiences bring people closer, but she cannot stop thinking about that hug. And how perfect it felt. Her mind is clouded by thoughts of him and she loves it and hates it at the same time.

“I choose peace. Suits us better.”

“I suppose it does. I’ll drink to that.”

“You’ll drink to anything!” He laughs.

“It’s my catchphrase. Might as well actually do it.” She takes a bite out of her cheese sandwich and wrinkles her nose. “Gods, it’s so dry!” she whines.

“What are these flowers?” Miraak tilts his head and inspects the flowers around them.

“Wildflowers, I suppose?” She swallows hard. “Because they’re flowers and grow in the wild? I don’t know, I’m not good at identifying flowers…”

“Wildflowers… No, that actually makes sense. Let me see.” he says, picking up one flower and smelling it, inspecting it, and then, much to Ravonna’s horror, eating it. 

“What on Nirn?!”

“Mmmh, feels nice. I believe it’s restore health!”

“It’s… what?”

“Wait, no. Let me make sure.” And as if Ravonna couldn’t be more horrified, he takes his dagger and makes a small cut on his finger and eats another one. And as if by some miracle, the small wound heals itself. “Yeah. Restore health. Well, in my defense, as a healer, I never needed to make restore health potions.”

“You mean to tell me,” she sits more straight from the sheer shock, “that this is how alchemy works?”

“How else am I supposed to know the effect of an ingredient?”

“Oh, I don’t know, read a fucking book on it?”

“We didn’t have books about this in Atmora…”

“Oh, right.” She says, as realization dawns on her. “You mean to tell me that you’ve eaten a giant’s fucking toe?”

“Um, now that you say it out loud, it does sound a bit weird…”

“A BIT?!”

“Look, it had to be done! I couldn’t just mix every random item they gave me and make a potion. I mean I could, but that could be a deadly potion. Eating elements and ingredients directly only gives you a small fragment of the effect, as opposed to getting the effect in full once it’s within a potion.”

“What’d it taste like?”

“Tasted like a giant’s toe! Salty and… chewy… And the effect made me more tired, but stronger. Meaning the effect is that of damage to stamina, while fortifying health and strength.”

“So… eating giant’s toes is a good thing? Hmm, maybe it’s considered a delicacy in other cultures. Like altmer and their snails!”

“Can we just go back and talk about the flowers? Here, try one.” He picks one for her.

“Y’know, in any other context, I would think of this as a thoughtful gift, but this… I don’t know how I’m feeling about this.”

“It’s literally good for your health. And the taste’s nice. Flowery.”

“Flowery… what does that even mean?”

“Try it and find out.”

“No but, what if this one has a different effect?”

“You’re scared?”

“I’m not scared! I’m cautious. There’s a difference.”

“All flowers of the same type have the same effect. I promise.”

“Whatever, it’s just a flower. I’m sure I’ve eaten worse…” she says, taking the flower and adding it to her sandwich. “Cheers.” She says, taking a big bite and chewing as quickly as possible with her eyes shut. It’s actually quite nice. And it even completes the sandwich beautifully. 

“Well?”

“I hate to admit, but it’s actually really good. Reinvigorating. Works with the cheese like a charm!”

“It does, doesn’t it?” He smiles. “I’m thinking of making more food with good alchemy ingredients in it. Spice things up, if you will.”

“If I find a giant’s toe in my food I’m calling our truce off and fight you then and there!” She points a finger really close to his face, resisting the urge to just poke him. 

“No toes, I promise! Just flowers and fire salts!”

“Okay, that could work. Can’t believe I’m saying this, but now I’m excited for the next time you’ll cook.”

“Maybe they’ll have a kitchen on the ship.”

“We’ll see.” Ravonna says, not able to contain her smile. She’s not only excited for his cooking, she’s excited about going to High Rock. She’s excited about being at sea again and singing with the sailors and going back to that fishing port again. It’s been too long since she’s been there and the memories are always fond. And mostly, she’s excited to find Hjaldir. To see him again. To hug him and to tell him everything. To reunite. And she gets to do all these with Miraak by her side, who has grown more and more dear in her eyes and in her heart. Yes, the world is threatened by dragons and apocalyptic prophecies, but she wouldn’t change what she has right now for anything.

Genshin Impact SAGAU X Iron Harvest 1920+

The Everwinter’s Embrace

You felt the Samson descend until it came to a halt. Your rifthound buddy woke up and started wagging its tail, eager to get moving. “We’re here at Snezhnaya, your grace! Here, let me get you something to keep you warm.” William said, as he went to a side compartment of the Samson, pulling out a white buttoned trenchcoat covered in golden lacings and beige fur, complete with a hood. It went all the way down to your legs, likely to keep them warm without pants (you can’t change here, after all.) He then pulled out a pair of black winter boots.

You noticed that there were shield emblems representing the four nations of Iron Harvest near the wrist sections. On the right sleeve was the emblems of Polania and Rusviet, and on the left sleeve was the emblem of Saxony and Usonia. Slightly above the heart section was an electricity shield made out of bronze, with an electric blue lightning bolt in the center. This likely symbolized Tesla’s Factory. The boots were comfortable too.

“We only used the finest of our materials to make these clothing items. Do you like 'em?“ William asked. You put it on and it felt very comfortable. The interior was laced with more fur, making you even warmer. “I love them.“ You replied. “Tell those who worked on this that they all did a great job.“

“I will. Alright, now a few things before you’re off. The Tsaritsa and the Fatui wanted to meet you first, so you’ll be staying with them for three days at the Zapolyarny Palace. Afterwards, you’ll be picked up via another Samson to head to the Ironside Quadripartite. Once you exit this airship, forces from Nikola Tesla will escort you to the palace.”

“Alright, I got it.“ You said to William. “Come on, little buddy. We’re going now.“ William helped you and your rifthound buddy out of the Samson as you took a few steps into this cold, frosty land. The trenchcoat and boots certainly kept you warm. You then heard the Samson taking off again, and then William say goodbye to you. “Farewell for now, your grace! We’ll see you in three days!” You simply waved back at him until the airship seemingly disappeared into the cold fog.

Upon finishing your waving, you turned around to see seven spider-like robots walking towards you in a hexagon formation. They made what appeared to be happy click-clack noises as your pet growled at them in intimidation.

“Stand down, boy. They’re friendly.” You recognized these robots. They’re TF-377 Slugas, produced by the Tesla’s Factory. They can melee attack, commandeer various control panels, and repair damaged machinery. You walked up to each of them, giving a headpat while your buddy played a friendly game of tag with one of them.

“стваралац!” You looked up and saw nine soldiers on what appear to be long metal stilts wearing backpacks glowing an electric blue. They also wielded rifles with external modifications on them.

TF-233 Šetačs. Soldiers wielding railguns on cutting-edge exosuits. You could easily recognize these. Trailing close behind them is a bipedal bronze robot with beetle-like armor, possessing what appeared to be a cannon, multi-barrel guns, and four guns at the top of the main body. That’s a TF-987 Čuvar, a powerful dual-mode mech capable of using both an offensive and defensive mode.

“We’ve been sent by Nikola Tesla himself to guard you. I am sure William Mason told you about this, yes?” The frontmost soldier asked you. “Yes, he did. Also just gonna be honest here. I never thought I got to see you guys up close!“ You replied back, amazement in your voice.

Tesla units are never available in Iron Harvest to players by default. The closest you have ever gotten to them was either escorting them in that one World Map campaign mission or when they actually assisted you in assaulting Rusviet’s capital in the same mode.

“Well, you’re seeing all of us Tesla soldiers up close, стваралац. Follow us, we know where Zapolyarny Palace is.“ The šetačs started moving as you and your buddies catched up with them.

You all were currently walking in a forest separated by an icy blue path, your rifthound buddy and the slugas running in circles as you all went. The footsteps of your boots and soft mechanical whirs of the šetačs further added to the cold yet soft vibe.

You nearly slipped on the path after a while of walking, but you managed to catch your balance. “Careful now, стваралац! We don’t want you getting harmed.”

“I’ll be fine,“ you told the soldier. “I’m more worried about you slipping rather than me.“ You’re on foot and they’re on stilts. It’s absurd how they haven’t managed to slip over yet. “Alright then, стваралац. We’ll be careful.“

You and your escort group reached Zapolyarny Palace after around ten minutes of walking. When you got up close, you noticed how similar it was to the Winter Palace in Russia. However, it was in many shades of icy blue, with a lot more curved aspects compared to the original.

Reaching the main entrance, you noticed that the three double doors had patterns of flowers and symmetrical icebergs. In the middle of all of them was a baby blue cryo symbol made out of tinted metal.

Two Pyroslinger Bracers guarded the main doors, with various other guards protecting all the secondary doors and rooftops. “Your grace. We have been expecting your arrival. Come, the Tsaritsa and her harbingers have been awaiting you.” The left bracer said as he and the other bracer opened the double doors allowing for you to enter.

“Us and the čuvar shall help the guards protect your presence. You go on in with your pet and the Slugas. They seem to be getting along well.“ The lead šetač said as the čuvar activated its defensive mode, retracting its cannon and forming itself into a cocoon-like structure.

Walking in the main doors with the bracer and your buddies, you were introduced with the palace square. It was full of blue flowers and trees of varying shades. You then had a realization in mind. These plants are starting to die out due to the eternal winters. You then thought about how it was just stuck in the back of your head until now. Guess your ‘divine creator’ senses are coming back to you.

You also noticed the other pyroslinger bracer run in the square into a section of the building. You assumed that he was going to inform the Tsaritsa and the Harbingers of your arrival.

Your pet and the Slugas both asked for headpats. You pat them both and the pyroslinger took notice.

“Are those your pets?“ He asked. “Yeah, I guess so. I took in the rifthound a few hours ago and the slugas a few minutes ago.“ You replied as they both walked up to him for headpats.

“Who’s the good boys here? You are, you all are!“ The bracer said as he headpat them all. This may be a cold land, but you’re already feeling much more warmth here compared to the other nations.

Annon-Guy: Happy Halloween, Gear Project 🎃!

It's a couple Dozen hours early, but I suppose it's already All Saint's Eve in Japan by now…

On the subject of spooky things in Guilty Gear though, not only was Jack-O's fixation on "eating candy" a nod to Trick-Or-Treat… it was also a legacy left over from the Valentine Series Family themselves.

Many Valentine Servants (called the Vizuel) in Overture were named after various cakes and sweets… and the various mob enemies you fought in that game were designed based on Cafe Maids!

Of course, unlike Jack-O' who was based on Aria and her love of sweets… Valentine herself does not LIKE sweets, hence the "NON-SUGAR" label on her clothing!

The original Lucifero's personality was akin to a traditional Butler. He even had something resembling a bow tie where his neck would be (even as a balloon).

Of course, Ramlethal's Servant Lucifero (same name, different personality) is a bit more rough around the edges… though both servants have a propensity for trying to flirt with their masters and getting told to "self destruct" for it!

Here's a few more Halloween-centric things you probably didn't know about Guilty Gear (or ARC System Works for that matter):

---I-No's ground-to-air dash was very much inspired by Morrigan Aensland from Darkstalkers, though Morrigan herself wasn't entirely based around mid-air combat as much as I-No was.

---Taokaka (of BlazBlue fame) had a set of cat-like moves that allowed her to cling to walls in the corner. While at first this was essentially a spinoff of moves Felicia of Darkstalkers could do, this gimmick would later go on to be used by the likes of Strider Hiryu and later Chipp Zanuff could do whole COMBOS up a corner wall in Guilty Gear Strive!

---Sasquatch's propensity for eating bananas along with LeiLei's (Hsien-Ko's) randomly thrown items were combined with Dr. Faust! Not only is there a chance for Faust to throw bananas, but he could also throw out Chocolate, Donuts, at at one point he could throw out Drinks and Sandwiches as well! The randomized "random thrown item" gimmick stems all the way back to beat-em-up fighting games where characters would smash barrels and find food underneath… in Samurai Shodown, a Postal Worker would run around in the back or front of the stage and toss items on stage… this was only implemented in Samurai Shodown 1, 2, 3, and Samurai Shodown 6, but you could use the items to increase your score, restore your health, or throw the item at your opponent (or trap them with an unblockable bomb in some situations).

Years later, in M.O.M. mode, you could equip and throw out your own items in Guilty Gear Xrd! Sometimes they were Potions, sometimes they were Pillars that would shoot projectiles… and sometimes they were the infamous Banana Peel (which was a sliding hazard in GG2 Overture!)

If I had to list all my favorite "spooky" GG characters:

CRUCIAL

🏋️ I was scrolling through pinterest, minding my business, like you do, when out of nowhere there was a picture of this beefy dude in the tiny little wrestling singlet. Well next thing you know it was a week and a half later, I hadn’t slept in days, and...well here we are! (At some point along the way I realized that the waistband from the boxer briefs that came with the Simtimates kit is literally my favorite thing in the whole game so that is a recurring theme for these items)

This collection includes 10 unique items for your sporty sims. Pretty much everything comes in a variety of options to suit a pretty wide variety of vibes from neutral and serious to wild and playful, I’m pretty sure there’s something in here for everyone. There’s also plenty of pieces that aren’t exclusively athletic in nature as well; a couple of basic tees and tanks for example that should be useful for pretty much any occasion.

THE ITEMS:

Singlet - This was the first item I created for this set. Originally I made is a full body outfit because..duh, but immediately realized this needed to be a bottom so that it can be combined with custom top meshes/default bodies, and potentially layered over/under other clothes so...there you go. 3 versions, solid, ribbed and patterns. There’s a bulge too of course.

Compression bottoms - These come in a zillion versions. There’s full length, shorts, solids and patterns, the full length has versions with and without the contrasting pocket on the side. Oh and they all come as accessories (leggings) so they can be layered under shorts or whatever.

Shorts - 3 versions for this one; a perforated jersey mesh, a plain cottony material and of course...you guessed it..a bunch of patterns.

Sweats - uhhh they’re sweatpants...not much to say about em. 2 versions etc etc.

Finger sleeves shirt - IDK what these are actually called but you know, the shirt that has holes for your fingers to go through. Anyway that RoM shirt was the basis for this one, I love that shirt but I never use it because...EA always only does half the work lol. The pattern version has the body in matching solid color with the pattern just on the sleeves cause the whole shirt in these patterns was..waaaay too much going on. Comes as regular top and accessory (gloves)

Tee - It’s a shirt! Has that lil lightning bolt logo on it! Regular top and accessory, solids and patterns, I’m not gonna keep mentioning that lol.

Tank - This tank comes in both tucked and untucked versions. I have no idea why i chose to do that but there you have it.

Crop top - Idk a sexy lil number to keep your guys tummy cool! I think it looks super cool layered over the finger sleeve shirt thing, or with the singlet underneath! 

😎 AND some sunglasses with a lil lightning bolt logo too!

Now that’s out of the way on to the goods. A lot of the meshes are linked between like items so I merged those together for you to avoid that issue for you. I hope I did it right, but just in case there’s also a merged package with everything that honestly I strongly suggest you choose to download instead of individual chunks lol.

Can’t wait to see your boys getting their fitness (or whatever) on in these!

there are a select few that we start doing purposely during our relationship, especially for holidays + birthdays, but i love the ones that unconsciously start to form on their own, like .. this is probably more of a routine thing than a tradition but we both have our own set order of things we do in the evening, to wind down and get ready for bed, and we often do them parallel with eachother! i love when i get to do my skincare stuff in the bathroom while levi is taking a shower, or when i watch a calming video and he's sat next to me reading, it's kind of like our own little tradition that we do every day and its very special to me ˶ᵔ ᵕ ᵔ˶

and one of our birthday traditions is that, even if we're not home or we're working etc etc, the birthday person always gets one special hot drink—for me its always coffee, levi has tea though tehe—bought/made for them in the morning. it has to be extra special and it cant be the usual ones that we make everyday, levi always excels at this, although often times he goes out and buys mine from a cafe which is just an amazing thing to wake up to 🥺 and i love to spend time researching and choosing a special flavour of tea for him to drink, its so fun to watch his reactions, and when hes trying to guess the flavour!! eee, its so cute

the only little gifts levi gets me fairly regularly are flowers, and hes so insanely good at buying them for me tehe !! every time he goes away for any length of time he always comes back with a beautiful bunch of flowers for me, even if hes only gone for one night. sometimes he even brings me flowers when he stays late at work which is just so eee ⸜(｡˃ ᵕ ˂ )⸝♡

but with birthdays and holidays he tends to lean for bigger gifts, over multiple little ones—for my last birthday he got me this insanely beautiful necklace, silver with a small aquamarine (my birthstone) gemstone in it, and a box of my favourite chocolates!

I've been coming up with my own scene ideas for a story with characters based HEAVILY on the MLP mane 6 and thought they made really sweet prompts, so I'm sharing them! Lmk if ya use em, I'd love to read it :D Today I'll be doing...

Vacation Themed Prompts!

Packing

- One character is over-packing and fussing about what they'll need. They've packed multiple suitcases, full of whatever's relevant to the character! Maybe clothes for a particularly fashionable character or lots of medical supplies for a particularly anxious character?

- One character hasn't even packed yet and they leave in 15 minutes, but they insist it'll be alright and go on to pack very basic items. Later on, they end up realizing they forgot something important! Perhaps a bathing suit, sunscreen, underwear, toothpaste, etc.?

- One character is only packing survival essentials as if the apocalypse will begin the moment they step foot out of the house...

- One character has mostly just packed "fun" things, leaving behind several necessary items!

- One character finds they don't have room to pack their comfort item. What are they going to do?

Road Trip/Plane Flight

- (Road trip) The characters start arguing over what music to play or what food to get.

- (Road trip) The car breaks down in the middle of nowhere!

- (Road trip) The passengers are singing songs and playing road trip games very loudly and obnoxiously, much to the annoyance of the driver. "Punch buggy, no punch-backs!!" and "Are we there yet? Are we there yet? Are we there yet? Are we--"

- (Road trip) The characters have quite a bit of trouble trying to read a map and end up so, so lost...

- (Road trip) The characters need to find a place to sleep for the night, what do they do? Oh I can smell the "not enough beds" trope from miles away...

- (Plane flight) A baby is crying on the flight, how do the characters react?

- (Plane flight) There's a bit of turbulence and Character A freaks out, having to be comforted by Character B.

- (Plane flight) One of the characters gets airsick.

- (Plane flight) Airline food sucks, write about that. Idk I've never been on a plane HELP

Camping

- The characters go fishing, but one keeps whining about how long it's taking and scaring away the fish, one can't get the line untangled, and/or one keeps pulling up trash.

- The characters play capture the flag!

- The characters go hiking. One keeps pointing out all the cool wildlife while one is worried about getting muddy and sunburnt and attracting bugs. Perhaps one trips and the other has to carry them back to the tent?

- The characters roast s'mores, sing songs, and tell spooky stories by the campfire, cuddling together for comfort and warmth as they listen to the tale of the local ghost that haunts the forest.

- The characters go kayaking and one tries to stand on the kayak, causing them both to tip over into the water! Now they're sopping wet and cold :(

Disney

- A few characters argue over the best way to get the sword out of the stone in fantasyland

- "A coke here costs HOW MUCH?”

- One of the characters is nervous about meeting a mascot

- “I dare you to drink the water in small world”

- Which character would get more excited about certain animals on Kilimanjaro Safari?

- A ride breaks down with the characters on it!

- Character A learns not to ride rollercoasters with Character B anymore after Character B vomits on them.

- The lines are sooo long... what do your characters do? Do they try to kill time somehow or try to evade the lines?

- A character has a breakdown due to all the noise :(

Beach Day

- Building a sand castle! Who can do it better?

- One character just tans and reads in the sun while everyone else is having fun, despite being encouraged several times to join them.

- While swimming, a character thinks they see a shark and panics!

- Someone's at the beach with a metal detector for some reason.

- Searching for seashells :) Can you really hear the ocean in them?

- Someone finds a note in a bottle in the water! What does it say?

- Playing beach ball!

- A moonlit stroll along the shore... lol

- What if one character has a fear of water?

tav backstory ask game! 1, 2, 11, 15 👀

Is your Tav Baldurian? If yes, did they grow up in Baldur’s Gate? If no, where are they from?

She looks to you with a smile. "Ah, yes, I am - I wasn't born here, but it's been my home since childhood. My mum and I moved here when I was around 12, so we've been here for about half my life at this point. It's an interesting place to call home, that's for sure. We live in the Lower City, though I've spent time outside the city at the Selûnite enclave as well."

Does your Tav have any siblings? Are they close?

"Two, actually! Both adopted and notably younger, but I care for them dearly. Faeryl's ten, she's the kid of one of our neighbors who was killed when she was a baby. Thankfully I was watching Fae at the time. We'd thought someone had gone after her for being a drow or she'd gotten into some trouble, but now I think I know what actually happened... and I'd say I've gotten what justice I could for her. She's a good kid, curious about magic and helps me make potions sometimes. I'd be happy to help her on her journey if she learns magic sometime." There's also Kaelis, my little brother, he's twelve. Little troublemaker, but he's a good kid. Hopefully he'll stay out of trouble. There's some kids I ran into on my journey that reminded me of him.

Did your Tav know or know of any of the other characters?

"I had heard of Gale before, actually. I'm no wizard, nor the biggest fan of many, honestly - it's the magical elitism and the common audacity. But I keep in the loop on and have done some research on magic and mages. I never would have expected that an archmage would be someone I could sympathize with on having volatile magic inside of you. Though mine isn't threatening to kill me - anymore at least - nor is it explosive. I think. He'll get on my nerves at times, but we get along fairly well. Not the closest, but we are friends.

And of course I'd heard of the Blade of Frontiers, though I didn't know much about Wyll beyond the stories before we met. I always respected him, but didn't expect to meet him or end up as one of my dearest friends. Same goes with Jaheira and Minsc - and Boo, of course - strange circumstances to end up with revered heroes as friends. Though I suppose I ended up becoming one too. Still feels a bit odd."

Do they have any sentimental items?

this is the one that took me awhile to come up with (alongside siblings)

"Yeah. My mum's an artisan, makes jewelry, trinkets, various metal things. When I was little, and I had a pretty rough time when my powers were coming in, and she'd tell me I was as strong as a dragon, and that I'd make it through. I didn't get to see her as often as either of us would have liked when I was recovering. It couldn't be helped, since she had to get a new job and find a place we could live in the city. But one day when she came to visit she'd made me a little dragon and put it on a cord as a pendant. It meant a lot to me, reminded me of her encouragement. And I did get better." She's been holding onto the pendant, which she holds up to show. "I still wear it, and it was a good reminder during some of my tough times finally getting a real hand on my powers along my journey - though I learned to rely on the people around me too."

"During my adventures, I also found an owlbear plushie somewhere along the road that I ended up attached to. Named 'em Feathers, and they're little buddies with Clive." She chuckles. "I leave 'em next to him when we head out for the day." (note: clive is karlach's teddy bear and sera is dating karlach they are in love <3 added just in case for the few non bg3 playing friends who might read)
