One of my most deeply-held beliefs on culture is that somewhere out there there is a 27yo with a crinkled non-binary flag in the corner of their room, more mugs and dirty plates in their sink than bricks in the tower of Babel, less than 70 of god's own dollars in their bank account to finish the month and five dying plants on the windowsill, crusty stuff in the corner of their eyes, who has crafted a world of aching beauty Tolkien and Homer could only ever dream of, a vision that honours all that is noble and raw in the heart of Man, a vindication of existence and a balm to suffering, all for the benefit of a half-dozen harem pants wearers on a server named "Bingus' Grotto"

It occurred to me that Rodrigue - a well-loved character by now- still isn't in FEH... But we got Holst and Monica, two of the least interesting FEW3H characters, instead... yaaaay...
And poor Leonie, Caspar and Ignatz who are still in seasonal limbo...

the dangerous thing about Uncle is that I’m pretty sure most people on this website started watching it for one specific reason but the show is good. seriously it’s a genuinely great show with a strong heart and plot focus and amazing character arcs and now, when I was just trying to be horny, now I really care about the characters as people and know I’m gonna miss them when I finish the show and have headcanons and thoughts about them

pentiment isn’t even a game you sit down say oh boy i can’t wait to play pentiment 😋 and then an hour later you close the game and feel physically sick to your stomach like psychologically neurologically physically ill. sickness of the mind.

Can't stop thinking about how Caspar mentions he begged his father to help him get an apprenticeship with Andreas after seeing a piece he did for the cathedral in Nuremburg -- which would already be endearing, but when you consider that Caspar is from Salzburg and must have been traveling at the time, fallen hard for his artwork, and then insisted he needed to study with someone miles and miles away from home, in an era when overland travel wasn't nearly as easy, it just gets even more so.
No wonder he's always so eager to help and show Andreas what he can do, this kid is absolutely studying under his hero (who, depending on how you play him, is very likely being incredibly kind and caring back!)

One of the biggest reasons I try to recruit all the characters in Three Houses isn’t just because I don’t want to kill them, but because if I do, I still have to go back to the monastery afterward. I still have to pass by their dorm rooms full of their belongings and know that’s where they spent their alone time and where they slept. I still have to pass by the spots they frequented the most. It’s not just the sad dialogue of characters reacting to the deaths, but passing by the spots I vividly remembered them hanging out at.
I realized this most in my first playthrough when I didn’t have the chance to recruit everyone and I accidently killed Raphael at Gronder. I didn’t have the enemy attack range turned on so I didn’t realize he was in range of attacking.
During an exploration, I was looking for Ignatz who was, unfortunately, in his dorm room... and I walked into the wrong room and into Raphael’s after he was killed and man that fuckin’ sucked! Feels bad but like, multiplied with big numbers, u kno??? ???
YES, IT’S A VIDEO GAME. YES, I HAVE HUMAN BEING FEELINGS ABOUT IT.

"Hey, Linhardt!"
Caspar puffs out a breath, making the paper stuck to the middle of his forehead flutter with the action. In arcane script which he cannot read even if it were not currently obscured from his vision, it says: 'I'M A GOOBER'.
"Did you know that warding magic comes in paper form, too? I've never heard of something like that before, but this guy named Ewan helped me out earlier."
“Hm?”
The boy’s sudden shout wakes them from their slumber (a short thing it was meant to be, right before they got up and continued their readings). A glance beyond and it didn’t seem too much time had passed. (That was good at least.)
Turning his attention then to Caspar out of breath, immediately he notes the paper stuck on his forehead—a ward, so he claims. Linhardt only blinks at first.
“Well, I suppose it isn’t impossible.” (Spells were written in tomes after all.) “So long as it’s infused with magic shortly thereafter– just…”
She stands up then, placing her book aside and squinting at the writing. (It wasn’t Fódlan’s language, certainly, and Linhardt didn’t think she'd seen it from a foreign nation instead.) If she had to place a bet, it seemed like some sort of arcane writing—a bit different from what she’s used to, but…
Surely, I’m misreading this?
“You said Ewan gave this to you?” (Linhardt doesn’t think they know that name.) “There’s a chance I might be interpreting this wrong so you’ll have to pardon my translation, but… (How do I say this–?) It seems this ‘ward’ is meant to call you a fool.”
