A/N: This would very much create a paradox in space and time, but fuck it. Let have some fun!❤️ Also, I know that BTTS aired in 2008, but April mentions that they have been gone for around a year, so I’ve set their return to their own timeline in 2007.
-----------------
Being punished with cleaning off Cody’s collection after an incident with Mikey, Raphael stumbles upon your diary from the past.
Warnings: Other than invasion of privacy, one that I can think of❤️
----------------
Raphael grumbled and cursed to himself as he dusted off the boxes around him, mumbling about how much he hated the future. He couldn’t believe he was the one that had to take the fall for this! It was Mikey that started it! Continuously poking that Helix game into his face, until Raph finally jumped on him to give him a beating. But Master Splinter wasn't having it, especially not in Cody’s penthouse. So Raph was the one that got punished with cleaning Cody’s collection.
Raphael wandered through Cody's collection of artifacts, recognizing quite a few of them. A samurai suit, some utrom technology and things from their lair. Some of them were more dusty than others, like the many books that once stood in Leonardo’s bedroom. Understandable. He didn’t even read them now in the future. But as he browsed through the items and boxes, one particular object caught his attention - a small, worn notebook. Raph frowned. He had never seen this before. Was it one of Donnie’s notebooks? Or one of his future ones? Raph did not know, so he opened it and looked at the first page.
Property of (Y/N) (L/N).
Raphael's heart skipped a beat. (Y/N). The name resonated with a sense of familiarity and warmth. You. One of his best friends left back home in 2006. Officially his best friend, yet he had dreamed of you to be so much more to him. He admitted it to himself long ago - he loved you. And to be standing there, 99 years in the future with your diary in his hand, he could not help but feel a slight pain in his heart. He missed you.
But to say that Raphael didn’t find himself curious about what the diary in his hand held, would be a lie. So with a mix of curiosity and trepidation, Raphael delved into the diary, turning to the first page.
19th of July, 2003. Dear diary You wouldn’t believe what just happened to me today. I’ve met four turtles! Four MUTANT turtles! Talking, walking on two feet, carrying weapons and doing ninja things! And get this, they are my age! How sick is that?! I know, I know, it’s hard to believe. Even I feared I had lost my mind for a moment, but they are as real as the page I’m writing on. And they are nice. They are sweet and funny and I hope I can see them again soon!
Raph felt a smile spread on his lips, remembering the day he and his brothers first met you. It had been a Friday night when you came to surprise your cousin April, not knowing she already had four mutant turtles and their rat father staying in her living room, using it as a hideout for a short time. Raph and his brothers would have stayed hidden away from you in April’s closet, had a bug not been crawling on Raph’s arm, causing him to burst through the door and directly into your face.
Raph felt his face get hot when he remembered that you actually caught the bug, and managed to calm him down, even though you were still shocked by the sudden surprise of a humanoid turtle in your cousin’s home. And that had been the starting point for Raphael’s growing feelings for you.
Raph flipped through the pages, skimming at the words, feeling curiosity growing. There were entries about battles fought and victories celebrated, about friendships forged and broken. Names he knew and names he had never heard of before. Someone from school or work mentioned once, just to never be mentioned again. Raphael's eyes widened as he read about your reflections on their encounters, realizing that his presence had left an impact on you just as you had on him. Raphael's cheeks warmed, and he couldn't deny the fluttering in his chest. You were not just a friend; you were someone he had held close in his heart, even if it was a secret he had kept buried beneath his tough skin. And even though it was wrong of him to be reading the words of your thoughts, he just couldn’t help himself.
In the quiet solitude of Cody's futuristic lair, Raphael found himself drawn not only to your words in your diary but to the feeling of being around you once more. He couldn't deny the impact your diary’s presents had on him, awakening emotions he had long kept guarded. Raph knew he would see you again one day, but he could not stop himself from missing you.
“How is the cleaning going, Raphael?”
Splinter’s voice from the doorway made Raph jump. Even with his graduation to Chunin coming up, Raph’s skills could not match his Master’s sneaking skills… especially not when he stood with his beak deep in your diary.
“Great, Master Splinter!”, Raph said, hiding your diary on the back of his shell. “Absolutely great!”
Splinter was quick to notice the way his son was standing. His smile on his face, along with the way his arms was bent to the back of his shell. Having been the one raising Raphael and his brothers for the past 18 years,  Splinter knew way too well how it looked when they tried to keep something from him. But knowing Raph’s hatred for the future, Splinter found it somewhat comforting that his son had found something he wished to keep hidden. To keep for himself. Maybe it was enough to make him more comfortable with their current situation.
“That sounds good”, Splinter said, taking in the somewhat cleaner state of Cody’s collection. There was only so much you could do with an almost hundred years old collection and an angry turtle. “I believe you’ve been punished enough for today, Raphael”.
Raph breathed a sigh of relief. After his father’s reaction to he and his brothers finding April and Casey's old journal, he feared what he would say, had he known about your diary in his hands. He thanked his Master before waiting for him to leave, so he could run to his room all while keeping the old worn book in his hand a secret.
Once Raph was sure he was alone and that none of his brothers would burst through the door, Raph turned to open your diary once more. With a page open he turned to look at the date.
29th of July 2006
Raph almost slammed your diary shut again. His hands trembled a bit. That was the day he and his brothers traveled to the future. The day they left you, April and Casey in the past, reminding him just how much he hated the future. Yet Raph did not leave your diary.
Raph’s heart broke a bit when he read your words. A whole year you were left in confusion before any of them returned home. You, Casey and April looked everywhere for them. Every place you had known for them to call home. You had searched in Casey’s farmhouse and Leatherhead’s lair. April had even traveled to Japan to ask the Ancient One, while Casey searched out of state, all while you stayed back, just in case they got home. A whole year, and nothing. April and Casey came home empty handed. No one knew where the turtle brothers and their father were.
Raphael continued flipping through the worn pages of your diary, his eyes scanning the entries searching for something he did not know how to describe. As he turned a page, he halted.
13th of September 2007
Raph knew he shouldn’t read it. Donnie has already told him and his brothers the dangers of meddling with their timelines, and how just being in the year 2105 could already have made unknown changes to their own future. But did Raph care about that? No. He already hated the future as it was, so making it worse would feel any different to him.
It happened! They are home! The boys are home! So much happened, and I don’t know where to start, but the most important part is that the boys are home and safe. April and Casey texted me and told me they had found them in the lair. And it was true! They were all there! Leo, Mikey, Donnie, Splinter and Raph. Speaking of Raph, it happened. It fucking happened. Finally it fucking happened!
Raph narrowed his eyes in confusion. What happened? Or… what will happen? - The fucking future thing was going to fry his brain one day.
Raphael kissed me!
Raphael's eyes widened as he absorbed the words on the page. The realization hit him like a tidal wave. He kissed you. He would kiss you! At some time in the future… or in the past… fuck that shit! He kissed you!
He did not say hey nor let his brothers say anything. He just walked straight over to me and kissed me! Just like that! In front of everyone! I will not lie and tell you that I didn’t want it, because in actuality, I did. I really wanted it, probably for way longer than I originally thought. I do really like Raphael, and it’s safe to say that he likes me as well.
His heart thudded in his chest as he read your words. You liked him? Just like he liked you? His hands shook as he tried to calm his breath. It was like an adrenaline bomb had hit him, making his heart raise even further.
Raph was tempted to read further. Turn to the next page and learn what would happen next. What words you would exchange and what actions the two of you would take. But just as he was about to turn the page, he decided against it. He already knew too much. Or maybe just enough. He now knew it was safe to kiss you when he turned home, and that you wouldn’t push him away nor fight against it. Learning more than that would take the excitement out of everything the two of you would do together.
Closing the diary with a mixture of awe and anticipation, Raphael couldn't help but smile. The knowledge that you harbored feelings for him, even if it was in a moment he had not yet experienced himself, filled him with warmth. And as he snuck out of his room to return your diary to Cody’s collection, he hoped that none of his brothers would notice him nor the little skip in his step.
Maybe the future wasn’t as bad as he had made it out to be.

TWST Boys’ Favorite Earth Movies
This list is only comprised of movies that I have seen. I haven’t seen that many movies in comparison to others, so if you have any suggestions for a movie that is a better fit for a character, please let me know! I would love to hear your ideas!
Also spoilers for the movies listed! No twst spoilers.
I tried to stay true to the characters, but I’m very sorry if any character is ooc!
The post is under the cut since it is very long😅
Riddle: Alice in Wonderland (2010)
While Riddle was a little bugged by how the movie was immensely inaccurate in accordance to Twisted Wonderland history, he found himself to surprisingly enjoy it. The plot being set in a different time with an older protagonist made it stand out to him as a different take on the tale. He was taken aback with how different the Queen of Hearts (sorry, the Red Queen) is in this film, along with the addition of a White Queen. After a while, he realized that this was a completely different story and stopped nitpicking, and that was when he started to enjoy the movie for what it was.
Trey: Kiki’s Delivery Service
He enjoys the simplicity of it, as well as the amount of baking involved in the plot. The art style of the film was also very pleasing to him, it gave off a sense of peace, and he could tell a lot of love and care went into the film. He also resonated with the main conflict, that if something you love turns into your job, you will lose passion for it and get burnt out. He relates to it because he sometimes fears that that’s how he’ll end up with baking. He liked the conclusion, and it left him with something to think about.
Cater: 21 Jump Street
Cater was a very tricky one to find a movie for. I felt that he wouldn’t like a mindless comedy, but he also wouldn’t like something too complex or provocative, or something that makes him think too much. So I settled on this funny buddy cop movie. The comedy kept him laughing, but the complex friendship shown between the two main characters kept him engaged. He likes how the two became closer from their newly-developed perspectives and shared hardships, and low key wishes something like that would happen to him one day.
Ace: Ferris Bueller’s Day Off
As you could guess, the idea of skipping school and going on a grand adventure of fun and self-discovery through town is very appealing to Ace. The entire time, he was daydreaming of doing the same thing with Deuce and MC. Oh he has so many ideas for a future outing with his friends now.
Deuce: Accepted
He adores the message of this movie. As someone who didn’t even know he was going to be accepted into a normal high school let alone Night Raven Collage, the ending speech made him shed a tear or two. He also started to entertain the idea of building a school, or even a secret hideout, with his friends. But he dismissed it, he didn’t want to get into any more trouble than he and the freshman gang already get into.
Leona: Fight Club
The only movie where he didn’t fall asleep midway through. He knew something weird was going on with the main character and Tyler, and he was close to guessing the big reveal. The plot in which the fight club slowly turns into a terrorist group was also engaging, he likened it to a king letting his kingdom and subjects fall with him as he descends into madness.
Ruggie: JoJo Rabbit
Ruggie was also tough to find a movie for, but I think he would like this one. Obviously he doesn’t understand going through the horrors of war, but he does know the feeling of loneliness, clinging onto the one person you have left, and, of course, living in poverty. He also totally cried at Rosie’s death reveal and the battle scene.
Jack: Princess Mononoke
He liked that there was no “villain” or side that is pure evil for the sake of it. There were clear reasons why each side felt contempt for their situation and went to war to get what they wanted, and he respects that greatly. He also liked the depiction of wolves a lot. He noticed that a good bit of media on Earth depicted the wolves as the villains, so he loved that they were depicted as just another band of creatures doing what they could to survive and raise that girl in the forest. He appreciates the proper wolf representation.
Azul: Seven
Azul is the type of guy that likes a movie that makes him think, and murder mysteries are a fun treat to him from time to time. While the blood and gore started to make him queasy after a while, he greatly enjoyed trying to piece together the murderer’s plan. The discussions about morality and fame and infamy were also evocative. The ending absolutely shocked him and left him reeling long after the movie was over. While he enjoyed it a lot, it’s not a movie he would watch all the time due to the violence.
Jade: Clue
While Jade also enjoyed Seven, and might even be inclined to watch it more than Azul, he would enjoy a more tame murder mystery to watch for fun. He liked trying to find who the killer was all while the silly comedy managed to get a chuckle or two out of him. Liked everything about it except the idea of multiple endings, but excuses it when he was told it was based on a game where anyone could end up being the killer. He later decides to take money out of Mostro Lounge’s budget to buy the game.
Floyd: Ponyo
Didn’t expect to like a movie he thought was for babies, but he ended up really enjoying it. He likes the characters, the setting, and also all the fishes! Just like Sosuke and Ponyo, he likes to try and identify as many sea creatures he can whenever he watches it. Also really likes Ponyo’s mom, she reminds him of his own mom, in a way. Also hums the end credits song while he’s working sometimes.
Kalim: My Neighbor Totoro
Kalim is a very open-minded person, so he appreciates a movie that encapsulates something he has never experienced before. In this case: simple cottage life. As the movie goes on, he starts to wish he could live that care-free life alongside his siblings and Jamil. Adores Totoro and the cat bus and as soon as the movie is over, he buys any merch of them he could get his hands on, much to Jamil’s annoyance.
Jamil: Ocean’s 11
Like Azul, he loves when a cunning scheme come together in the end, so I thought he would enjoy a good heist movie. He enjoyed trying to guess the specific elements of the plan and how everything fit together. Also related to how the characters teamed up to get back at those who wronged them.
Vil: Crimson Peak
The entire movie was just so aesthetically pleasing to him. While gothic is not his absolute favorite aesthetic, he loves it when it’s done right, and he certainly thinks so here. The dilapidated gothic manor, the designs and special effects for the ghosts, and especially the costumes. He learned that the film won an award for its costume design and he certainly thinks it’s deserved. He also had to give credit to the performances of the actors. While he nitpicked parts of the plot, he definitely enjoyed the film as a whole.
Rook: Grand Budapest Hotel
Aesthetically pleasing as well as full of good action, this was right up his alley. He loved the colors and set pieces, but the aspect that fascinated him the most was the direction style. He can’t quite put his finger on what it would be called, but he’s never seen a movie that was directed like this before.
Epel: The Secret World of Arrietty
He was fascinated by how something on such a small scale can seem so grand. Since the main characters were small, the world looked so much bigger around them. The parts Epel enjoyed the most were the quiet moments with Sean laying out in the yard with the cat, or when he was trying to befriend Arrietty. Moments like those reminded him of his home during the summer time.
Idia: The Nightmare Before Christmas
While his main interests are anime and video games, Idia loves a good horror movie. Although he knows this film doesn’t technically count as a horror movie, it was similar enough to his all-time favorite movie to keep him wanting to see more. He loves the art and animation style. Stop-motion is not a style he’s familiar with, but he’s certainly interested now. Also Oogie Boogie is one his favorite animated villains now.
Ortho: Ready Player One
Just the thought of playing around in a whole virtual reality world with his brother and friends made him practically bounce in his seat. Making his own avatar and fighting an evil corporate organization made him daydream. Even though he doesn’t get any of the pop culture references, he still loves the plot and concept of it all, and believes his brother will be Twisted Wonderland’s James Halliday one day.
Malleus: How to Train Your Dragon
He immediately likened the relationship between Hiccup and Toothless to him and MC. He saw all the movies, but he has to say that the first one is his favorite. The plot of the human and the dragon growing to trust and love one another touched him, and it made him hope the he could continue being friends with MC.
Lilia: Pan’s Labyrinth
He left the film with conflicting emotions. He was thoroughly heartbroken, yet hopeful by the end of it. That poor girl had been through so much, but at least she was reunited with her true family in the end. He loved the designs and special effects used for the monsters (the hand monster actually managed to disturb him a bit) most of all.
Silver: Hero
Despite having to read subtitles, he loved how it kept him engaged. While he started to drift off when the characters were talking too much, there was a fight scene or compelling drama to wake him up again. Speaking of the fight scenes, they were his favorite part about the movie. Swords and people were literally flying, everything flowed so freely, it was like nothing he’d ever seen before.
Sebek: Indiana Jones
A classic “hero’s journey” type of movie would be up Sebek’s alley, and this is one of the all-time classics. While he kept criticizing Indie and loudly proclaiming what he or Malleus would do in any plot point, he enjoyed the novelty of it, and he sees why the film is so famous.

A Deep Dive Into Childhood Wonder (Ronnie Dinnel) (Resubmission)

A Deep Dive into Childhood Wonder
Tumblr media Tumblr media
There are so many childhood movies I watched as a kid that I loved, but none resonated with me as much as Finding Nemo. It came out in 2003 when I was only a year old, but this did not stop me from absorbing every scene into my tiny little brain and memorizing quotes from all the characters. I watched the film over and over as a kid, and as I grew up, I began to understand it more as I matured. Now, as an adult, I can reanalyze the film with an educated brain to see the jokes intended for older audiences while still being able to laugh at the childish humor.
Finding Nemo’s ability to appeal to both children and adults is what allowed it to gain such success. Roger Ebert said it well in his review of the film, “When I review a movie like "Finding Nemo," I am aware that most members of its primary audience do not read reviews. Their parents do, and to them and adults who do not have children as an excuse, I can say that "Finding Nemo" is a pleasure for grown-ups.” I believe the reason Finding Nemo is so rewatchable, even as an adult, is due to its balance of childish and adult humor, along with a story that hits both kids and adults emotionally. Any parent can relate to the fear of losing their child, while any child can relate to the fear of losing their parent. The journeys of both Marlin and Nemo are therefore relatable for almost all audiences.
On top of Finding Nemo’s ability to appeal to all audiences, the film looks gorgeous, especially for 2003. Around this time, Pixar was innovating over and over again with animated films such as Monster’s Inc., Toy Story, and A Bug’s Life. Finding Nemo added another innovation to animation by mastering the appearance of light passing through and reflecting objects underwater. As Tom McCarthy wrote in his review, “But “Nemo” is still very clever and imaginative indeed, and its pictures are so gorgeous that they alone could warrant a second viewing.” Not only are viewers going to rewatch Finding Nemo for its story, but also for its beauty. This was one of the first times an animated movie was mostly underwater, and Pixar was able to nearly perfect the look. Finding Nemo set the new standard for what people expected an underwater movie, animated or not, to look like. The clarity of the water combined with the increased saturation and vibrance in the coral reefs and anemones had viewers in awe even on rewatch.
On February 1, 2003, NASA crew STS-107 perished on reentry into Earth’s atmosphere in NASA’s oldest orbiter shuttle, Columbia. I remember this event because my next-door neighbor and family friend worked for SpaceX at the time and was visibly upset that day. Even as a toddler I was able to recognize that something was wrong that day, but it was not until several years later that I found out what happened. Another event in 2003 was the recall of California Governor Gray Davis, who was replaced by Arnold Schwarzenegger on October 7. This recall came less than a year after Davis was reelected, and the reason for it was due to the way he handled the state’s electricity industry.

IM BORED. TBOTT HEADCANONS.
random obscure headcanons for the boys we all miss most- the tbott family.
warnings: pure family content. (there’s no tws)
word count: i don’t know i’m not even putting my auto caps on.
^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^
dadza!
oh father phil, how we have missed you.
this man folds his socks.
drinks black coffee, but when wilburs making iced coffees and stuff, he always asks for one.
when techno was about 9 and said he wanted to learn how to ride a bike finally, phil was ecstatic. he was super excited but since techno is techno, he didn’t need phil’s help at all really. phil watched like a soccer mom while 9 year old techno taught himself how to ride a bike.
phil h a t e s mustard. tommy puts it in his burger when he’s not looking.
phil gets very worried when his kids get quiet. besides techno. but the other three- he gets reaalllll worried.
he once ate an entire apple, core and all, to prove a point to tommy. 4 year old tommy. he cried.
phil then acted pregnant for a week saying he was gonna have an apple baby. tommy hates apples now.
phil did feel bad after he realized what trauma he caused-
phil tries to give techno dating advice for y/n but techno always brings up the “but you’re single. and you’ve been single-“ every time. phil then mocks him like a child. techno finds it hilarious. (which is secretly why phil does it)
wil to the bur
he smokes cigarettes because they help him calm down, and he thinks the smell is actually nice.
he sleeps with like 8 blankets on his bed.
when he and techno where much younger, he used to sleep in technos bed with him. phil thought it was because techno had a nightmare or something but wilbur or techno never told him it was cause wilbur gets lonely at night.
wilbur = party animal
wilbur brought y/n to her first party, and it was bonkers. he has polaroids of them from that night that he keeps in his wallet.
wilbur takes tommy on “brother days” where they go on adventures and tommy picks where they go. wilburs favorite was when they played hide and seek in a target. he surprisingly didn’t loose tommy.
wilbur bakes when he’s stressed. that’s why tommy always has cookies in his school lunch bags.
when wilbur wanted to move out, y/n offered her house since no one really lives there but her parents still payed for it. and he was still close to home but with the independency he wanted. he didn’t take her up on it until a month after she offered.
wilbur doesn’t enjoy receiving gifts as much as he prefers to give.
wilbur got into a college near by, but tommy didn’t understand that it ment he would be staying home for school so he freaked. wilbur actually ended up spending the night in his room after explaining he wasn’t leaving his little bro.
wilbur did shit his pants in a park out of fear one time. he was 4. phil has a picture of him crying on the car ride home with no pants on and clean underwear. it’s in both their wallets.
satan spaw- tommy.
tommy had separation anxiety as a baby.
tommys favorite person is y/n because she’s the only mother ish figure he ever had growing up, and that resonated with him more than he could understand.
one time when tommy was about 8 he snuck over to y/n’s house because she wasn’t staying at theirs and he was scared something was gonna happen to her. he scared the shit out of her but she let him stay the night and brought him back early so phil wasn’t scared.
tommy bit a dog once.
tommy once tried to slap a bug out of tubbos hand and “accidentally” slapped him across the face. tubbo then ate an apple i front of him.
tommy cried.
tommys first girlfriends name was elle, she was a sweety. funnily enough tho, when she came over to hangout with tommy she met techno. apparently, she was quite fond of techno. the relationship was short.
tommy hates lady bugs.
tommy had velcro shoes till he was 10.
when tommy got much much older, he gave y/n a similar ring to the one he swallowed as a christmas present. she cried, which made him cry, and then phil cried, and then techno and wilbur laughed at them all.
tommy actually gave y/n a mother’s day card as a joke when he was like 17 but y/n cried and he gave her a big hug and she told him how proud of him she was and how lucky she felt to be a very loose version of a mom/big sister to him.
pink hair boy
y/n once told him he smelled bad and he didn’t talk to her for 48 hours.
techno and y/n started staying at her house once phil allowed them when they turned 18 and techno loved bonk (y/ns cat)
him and the cat were besties. bonk would sit on his shoulders.
techno holds y/ns pinky sometimes when he’s doing something but wants to sorta hold her hand.
techno likes to help y/n pick outfits, not in a controlling you can’t wear this cause to much skin, he just likes to make her try on a bunch of things.
techno had 3 favorite hoodies, one is one of phil’s old ones, one is from will, and the last he bought himself but tommy wears it often.
techno bakes with wilbur late at night sometimes.
technos fondest memory as a child was when y/n made him a book. it was a story about a rabbit, and he still has it on his bookcase.
after will graduated college and moved out of y/ns house and the sleepy house fully and got his own, techno and y/n actually moved in to her house.
they decorated it, and even painted it new. y/n was really greatful he let her stay in her childhood home.
but techno didn’t tell her it was because he was scared of moving away from tommy, and the treehouse too. he never wanted to not be able to have moments with her in the treehouse.
techno and bo became amazing friends and even ended up going to the same college. it was a community college but- yk-

Would you ever consider airing some of your spike thoughts with a warning for those who may not wish to hear them? I feel like you express yourself so well and would love to hear how you parse this very complicated character but obviously understand your reservations x
Yeah, it's not like they're unspeakable or anything. I just don't bring them up unprompted like I do most other thoughts that spring to my mind.
I'll put under a Read More because I'm going to tag this for my own system and if you're the type of person who tracks the Spike tag then you might not enjoy my thoughts (even though I adore Spike). Also if we're mutuals and you're a Spike fan please forgive me I do not mean it personally.
Honestly, the "problems" I have with Spike boil mostly more down to fandom perception than the character in canon (although I also find him to be a big problem in S7 (but not as much as is sometimes made out)). There is a tendency to soften him to the point of painting over his worst qualities, and to present him as this secretly-good uwu softboy who loves very purely and who always has Correct Opinions. Basically, I love Spike as a character but I think he is a much worse person than is often made out by other people who love Spike (this could also apply to nearly every character. this fandom in general could do with relaxing and just enjoying characters being awful sometimes).
I've also found myself growing irritated at the "lesbian Spike/lesbian Spuffy" reading that has grown itself a niche of popularity. I understand this isn't an issue at all outside of a very specific section of Buffy Tumblr, and even there is I think mostly a meme/joke. But it ties into some other things that bug me about the fandom perception of Spike, and as a lesbian it has started to actively grate on me. It's starting to feel very "female-coded Kylo Ren".
Spike is a man and Spuffy is an opposite-gender relationship. It seems trite to say but I saw a tag the other day that referred to faith and spike as "two lesbians in love with buffy" and it made my eye twitch. Because look, Faith is not canonically a lesbian. I can't honestly call her "representation". But there is a plethora of evidence within canon to read her as one. I read her as one. Faith can be a lesbian within canon, because she is a woman whose feelings for another woman can be read as romantic. Spike cannot, because Spike is a man. He cannot be a read as a woman - there is no evidence for him being anything other than a cisgender man (and no, painting his nails does not count). He expresses a lot of toxic masculinity, including sexual violence and blaming women for his own emotions. This behaviour is gendered, and it is a misreading of the text to ignore that aspect of him, and of Spuffy. A little coding and queer resonance in the Spike/Buffy arc does not make it a queer relationship.
Again, this is really just me being grouchy of a minute sector of fandom that is mostly just having fun. And I feel bad, because I have mutuals that I like and respect who I know enjoy this reading, and I do not want to make them feel sad or disrespected. And I know a lot of this is just having fun and not meant in total seriousness, which I respect (honestly, a lot of my posts are not meant in seriousness either, and I could see someone who isn't fond of Fuffy for example get annoyed when I put on my Fuffy goggles and do some silly gay liveblogging).
So when I get annoyed by a common Spike take and need to grumble in a way that I know won't go down well on Spike/Spuffy Tumblr I just vent it into the drafts and watch it bob there like a horrible grouchy turd. Not because I fear retribution - there is nothing especially scary about Spike/Spuffy fans - but because I'd feel bad. As I said, I am a fan of Spike's character and have written a lot of meta about him, and as a general rule my feelings on the show tend to overlap a lot with a lot of Spuffy fans, so I am following/mutuals with a fair few of them. I'd feel I was spiting them.
(Also, when I've made tongue-in-cheek dunks on other characters or ships I occasionally get reblogged by people who actively hate those characters/ships and get involved in the shit-flinging, and that's really not my bag. I make shitposts but I want to analyse Buffy as a literary text first and foremost, that's why I keep my Good Writing pinned).
But hey, in the interest of airing turd-covered laundry - here are some of the cheap shots that I have kept from public consumption because I just can't be bothered to deal with the fall out (and I only partially agree with them myself). Enjoy. Or don't enjoy. It's not meant personally.
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
(The especially bitter one I thought but didn't make where I do the D.E.N.N.I.S system but with Spuffy because the post doing it with Bangel that went around a few weeks ago very much irritated me and is the exact kind of ship-based squabbling and hypocrisy I can't stand).

okey dokey! I'm gonna be a father!
Tumblr media
Requesting pregnant reader scenarios, wanna see more of the guys’ duality balancing domesticity and impending fatherhood, and running the world, ya know 🙏🏾😎🤔😀 Just throwing the idea out there since you said we could. Y’know things like ‘I’m trying to leave to set up a meeting but her back is sore & she wants ice cream so one of u needs to suddenly be available. now’ & other things ig. I imagined Ty Kun, John Jae or Kun in as leader & probably hc or jaemin as the wife-sitters (lol)
Since you didn’t specify the unit,I did this with the few members from hyung line. This got so long that I ran out of ideas so let me know if you want me to write for some other members.  though j incorporated your ideas but i based it on the concept of them managing the treats in both hands. This is my first time doing reactions so leave some feedback if you wish! Have a nice day everybody.
(7 members) Ft. Taeil, johnny, taeyong, yuta, ten, jaehyun + kun
TAEIL
"Let me message you back!" Taeil whispered into the phone and raised his body to observe your sleeping form. Your head was securely resting on his arm and he let out a relieved sigh as it was one of the few Lucky days when you were not thrashing around in your sleep. Day after day, you were getting uncomfortable with your heavy belly and all he could ever do was keep you company in your frustrations. He couldn't risk waking you up so he tried his best to complete the task in the painful position. He fidgeted with the phone for it was impossible to handle a 6 inch of metal device with one hand. Struggling with the grip for a few more seconds, he finally managed to send johnny a message regarding the inquiry.
Ask tae He has ab eztra key 2 my ofice.
Maybe he should turn his autocorrect on for situations like this!
Thinking his work was done, he locked the phone. just when he was about to put it on the nightstand on a blind guess, it vibrated again!
John: He is out! You need to come asap.
He stopped to watch out for any movement from your side and when there was none, he shifted to his phone again.
Nt my pblm.
He couldn't understand why johnny was being so persistent when everyone was under strict orders to not call him after 10 p.m unless someone was dying!
John: Jungwoo is in trouble with police. I need his fake ID!
Taeil’s scoffed a bit too loudly causing you to stir.  He paused in his actions only to continue when he noticed your even breathing. Weighing the options, he concluded that Jungwoo must have forgotten to pay for the food again or something like that otherwise if it was work related then johnny would have been screaming at his door and not through the phone.
Not his 1st time. dw too much. Jst send him some food so he wont cry like last tym.
He deserved that much punishment! With that he switched the device off and wrapped his arm around your waist, returning to the warmth he got to experience only at night times.
JOHNNY
You were on edge since the day you got yourself tested. You could blame it on the suddenly changing hormones or the never present johnny but one thing was sure that you were missing him more than ever. Johnny on the other hand, avoided going back home for the sole reason of finding himself incapable of taking care of you and his dangerous job. That’s why he had assigned hendery to be at your beck and call. He was a medic and since the other medical emergencies could be handled by xiaojun and renjun, hendery had no problem in spending some time with you. His company was full of funny stories of other members and silly jokes. Despite his endless efforts to distract you, the thought that your daughter’s father was missing the growth of his own child always remained at the back of your head. You couldn’t understand how all of a sudden his workload had increased so much that he barely had any time to even see your face let alone talk to you for a few minutes. But all your worries vanished the day he returned and sarcastically ordered hendery to show his donkey self out of his house to never come back again.
“I managed to prepone some important weapon deals”, he bowed gracefully to acknowledge his own achievements, making you chuckle at him, “and I’ve been rewarded with three months of holidays so I shall be spending these months making up for the lost time and creating new memories” he completed, kissing your forehead.
"I never said I need you 24/7. A few hours at most would do John" you said, knowing how his absence would affect the black neos.
"Yeah. But then I realised what if my baby girl mistakes hendery for her father. Can't let that happen now yeah!"
Masked under jokes, you were very well aware of the real reasons behind the toil he had subjected himself to! It was all for you and your baby girl and you knew he would do it again and again even if it meant the end of his life!
TAEYONG
From sharp cold deadly glare to the dragon tattoo that adorned his neck and arms, fellow criminals had every reason to fear this man. His name, in the underworld, screamed  cursed royalty. But that was Lee taeyong, leader of black neos.
The taeyong standing right in front of you, struggling with multiple boxes of boards was anything but scary. Cladded in baby blue hoodie and black boxers, he was reading the manual, knocking down the structure again and again as he repeatedly found something missing from it.
"Leave it tae. I can complete this later on. Come and eat now." You whined and suggested while taking bites from the creamy pasta he had prepared earlier.
"what do you mean i can complete this later on. Do you find me incapable of making a crib?"
Yes you did!
But that was not the answer you could give when he was clearly trying his hardest. It was indeed baffling as to why the man who could assemble a weapon with his left hand was unable to join the pieces of a crib with both!
"No tae. You were out for three days so maybe you are just too tired to concentrate!" You explained in the politest way possible that clearly didn't reach him properly. He let out an audible gasp at what felt for him to be the accusatory tone.
"Eat your pasta and watch me complete this in half an hour! You'd regret saying that to me!"
Why was he the one with mood swings?
Just like other bubbling thoughts, you gulped down this one too and nodded enthusiastically, giving him a thumbs up as if you would never doubt his capabilities.
But you knew, he might have started the task but he was surely not going to be the one to complete it!
YUTA
“How about sakura?” hyuck suggested. Looks of disapproval were exchanged across the room and sound of mark hitting hyuck’s arm resonated in the living room.
“Cliche!” jaehyun laughed.
“Yes. We aren't naming our daughter sakura and that is final. She’s one of a kind and her name should also be!” you announced your arrival in the room and sat on the floor, making yourself comfortable between yuta’s legs. He wrapped his arms around your belly before leaning his neck to greet you with a sweet cheek kiss.
“Yes. What y/n wants, y/n gets. No sakura!” he held his one hand up in the air, forbidding any further discussion on the name.
"That's not fair!" Hyuck whined only to be dismissed by a wave from you.
"Just because it's not hyuck's choice doesn't mean that you have got right to choose by yourself. The baby is a part of this family so we get to decide what's best for her!" Ten exclaimed loudly getting everyone’s attention.
“How about ayaka?” kun suggested, entering the room with a trolley full of snacks. As the recommendations poured in, the snacks were passed to everyone. Days like these were rare and from the past two months, these rare days were spent daydreaming about the very first child in the black neos house.
“Akira? It’s quite universal you know.” mark joined in, reading the meaning of the name in different cultures and languages.
“Haru”
“No kai!”
Somewhere in the conversation, yuta’s hands had travelled from your tummy to your sides. He knew the little brushes of his fingers had started to work on you as you swatted his hand away with yours. It only encouraged him and he tickled you on your sides more and more, getting the desired reaction. Your body being more sensitive and responsive than usual, you wiggled in his arms and squealed loudly enough to get everyone’s attention. Suddenly his hands stopped as he heard a whiny shout.
“Why are you bugging her?” hyuck hollered, “can’t you sit still for once? Let her breathe for a freaking second. You wanna tickle! Tickle me. Come tickle me but Don’t bother her!”
You were aware of hyuck’s sudden outbursts of protection for you but this was truly something new! And you new tickles were not the reasoning behind his irritation. Sakura was!
“Le-let’s play a game”, kun interrupted before haechan’s frustration would land him into some trouble with the elder, “we’ll write all the suggestions into paper and whichever y/n chooses would be final. How does it sound?”
Everyone hummed along to the idea. Looking over at Hyuck, you noticed a sudden glint in his eyes that spoke trouble. He was clearly planning something evil and until it was all fun and games, you had no trouble for his intentions.
“Since when did you get a bodyguard hmm?” yuta whispered, planting another wet kiss on your right cheek.
“Yua.” you said.
“What?”
“We are naming her yua! When are you gonna tell them that i’ve already decided!” leaning backwards, you said in a hushed voice meant only for his ears.
“When they are tired enough to play any more games. Till then, let’s have fun. Look at hyuck, he’s surely gonna cheat and mark and renjun are going to strangle him.” yuta chuckled against your ear, making you laugh again. Life was good!
TEN
“Xiaojun! Xiaojun! Show yourself you good for nothing potato!” you winced at the volume of ten’s voice. Even though he was outside the room, his vocals were irritating. But you held your tongue from scolding him as he was the only one you could rely on at the moment.
“Xia-
“Did bella bite you again? why are you shouting at-” xiaojun squinted at the wall clock and adjusted his glasses, “at 5:30a.m?”
“Half of the world is up you hibernating bear! y/n is craving ice-cream. You know better than to refuse her so go to her. Your service starts right now.”
Xiaojun scoffed and remained glued to the stairs. Ten raised a brow questioning him but instead of answering him xiaojun came up with one of his own.
“And why aren’t you going?”
“Switchblade prince is called so I gotta go. I don’t think you want her to wait!.”
Xiaojun groaned when ten shot him a wink and left the living room. Of course he had no trouble in tending to your demands which as a medic, he understood very well but ten’s cockiness wasn’t something he was ever ready to handle.
“y/n! What does our prince wanted to eat this early in the morning?” he smiled at you, plopping down on the edge of the bed.
“Apples and bananas.”
“I meant what ice cream flavour do you want?”
“Ice cream? Who said ice cream? I want bananas.” you answered him, confused at his confusion!
It was only then that xiaojun realised that switchblade prince was never called in the first place. Ten had fled. Due to fruits! He was contemplating as to what extent he should be manipulating ten’s words while telling you about his betrayal when you spoke up.
“Umm. i guess we can eat mint chocolate as well. I’ll eat a banana chocolate sandwich first then we can both watch a movie and finish the ice cream. What do you say?”
Ok!  Maybe revenge could wait. Ice cream would be a priority here!
JAEHYUN
If your husband was cocky, you were seriously too many steps ahead of him and it has taken only 10 days for jaemin to realise that you were just jae's cup of tea and no one else's, at least not as a 4 months pregnant woman.
"Why are you sitting on the floor?" Jaehyun laughed at jaemin sprawled on the floor like a toddler.
"Noona screamed at me" jaemin mumbled, hiding his face in his neck.
"Oh jaemin! Why did she do it? Were you teasing her again. You know that she doesn't take sarcasm too we-
"No. She threw up the food i made for her and that too thrice since yesterday. I got angry so i told her to eat up or else i won't be making anymore for her. She threw the pillow at me and ordered me to never talk to her again! I mean it's not like i was showing real anger! She's hungry since yesterday. If she won't eat up then she'd be sick. What did I do wrong! Now I made her favourite pasta and she won't open the door for me."
Jaehyun sighed and crouched down to jaemin's level. He knew your emotions weren't in your control anymore but jaemin wasn't wrong either. He was just doing what was right for you and unintentionally, you had ended up hurting the poor boy. Jaehyun patted jaemin's hair before he told him to inform taeyong about his possible absence from the upcoming meetings and activities.
"You can't do that." Jaemin said the obvious.
"Do you want her to eat or not!" Jaemin frantically nodded at him before running off to the main office.
Heating up the pasta, jaehyun made his way to your shared bedroom in black neos.
"Baby open up it's me!" He knocked at the door and hearing his voice, you immediately opened it.
"You are here!" You exclaimed, feeling beads of moisture in the corner of your eyes.
"Aww. Now is not the time to cry." He cooed, entering the room with the tray. Placing it on the coffee table, he turned around and hugged you just the way he missed you.
"I'm sorry for being occupied and only coming back at night. But I'm here for a few days so let's get you all happy like a seal!" He laughed, ruffling your hair.
"I-i yelled at jaemin for no reason." You confessed not being aware that he was already filled in by the younger boy.
"You wanna apologize?" You nodded as he squished your cheeks in his hands and leaned in to kiss your pouty lips.
"Later on! Now's the time for evening lunch and getting this food in your tummy without it backfiring!"
You laughed at how smoothly he eased your worries. After eating properly, you apologised to jaemin which he accepted but not before crying like a little boy he was!
Bonus :
KUN
"Yangyang what the heck are you doing near y/n. I told you to keep your meaningless books away from her!" Kun felt like his blood pressure would shot up anytime soon.
"What are you talking about?"
"Oh really? What's the book that you are reading to her?"
"How to walk like a pro when you are only 2 months old! I want the baby to be high class like me."
Kun's hands found refuge in his hair as he groaned at the boy. Now he needed to read all the books that could possibly reverse yangyang's teachings.
"There is no such book available."
"Yeah that's why i wrote it by myself. Pulled an all nighter but when the baby would start walking at only 2 months of age, you'd thank me!"

Hiiii so like I was wondering if maybe you could do a Zenitsu x Fem!Reader where she acts all sassy and confident but when she sees an insect she's absolutely terrified and just becomes a coward?
Tumblr media
So you’re a bit of a wild child
Not as much as Inosuke (a literal wild child), but you’ve got the mouthiness and unchecked confidence that causes you to butt heads with almost everybody
It’s like you’re not afraid of anything. Which is bad. Whenever a demon shows up, you act as if it’s a cause for celebration and leap headfirst into a fight
Don’t get him wrong – your breathing style is amazing, and Zenitsu definitely finds it attractive when you fight – but it kind of hurts his pride …
He’s supposed to be a man and protect you! And he can’t do that when you’re protecting him
You do everything with a certain kind of swagger, resonating with an “I’ll-do-it-myself” kind of sound that leaves him grappling for some way to appeal to you
“It’s really crowded here, [Y/n]-chan! Let me hold your hand so you don’t get lost!”
“Excuse me, I have a great sense of direction. Follow me, Zenitsu!”
(You end up grabbing his hand, which is nice, but it’s not very romantic and he almost gets trampled by the villagers as you try to catch up to Inosuke)
It’s just frustrating! Zenitsu really does like you – maybe even love – and you probably just think he’s sort of pathetic.
But eventually, something happens that makes you a little bit more attainable
You’re all staying at this old couple’s house for the night
It’s relatively clean, but old, and there are some cracks and crevices near the corners of the room where the five of you are sleeping
Zenitsu doesn’t think much about it. He’s tired and still feeling some post-mission stress, so after saying goodnight to everyone (with an especially sweet goodnight to you and Nezuko), he kind of just blacks out
Next thing he knows, he’s startled awake by a sharp, distressed sound coming from your futon
His first instinct is to panic. What could possibly be bad enough to scare you?!
“[Y/n]-chan – mmph!”
You slap a hand over his mouth, crawling over and hugging him tightly
Zenitsu’s face immediately explodes in red
“Th-Th-Th –”
“… Hm? ♡”
“Th-There’s a bug!”
… He blinks.
Huh
Maybe it’s some poisonous insect or a big centipede? Zenitsu smiles at you and slowly creeps over to your futon to check, fear pushed more or less to the back of his mind as you cling to him
Then he blinks
“Ah, it’s just a little beetle!”
You squeak and tighten your arms around him, shaking your head against his shoulder
Zenitsu puffs out his chest
Now’s the time to be your hero …!
“Don’t worry, [Y/n]-chan! I’ll take care of it right away!”
Detaching himself from you for only a moment, he carefully picks up the insect (thankfully, it doesn’t take flight, otherwise both of you would start screaming) and opens the window to drop the beetle outside as you cower behind him.
Then he turns to you and grabs your hands
“There! It’s gone now.”
He beams
Only to freak out when he hears you sniffle
“Ah –! [Y/n]-chan?! Are you okay?”
“Th-Thank you, Zenitsu,” you blubber quietly.
You sound so embarrassed. Zenitsu’s smile softens into something more understanding
(He can relate, after all)
“It’s okay, [Y/n]-chan. I’ll protect you from all the bugs until you’re not scared anymore!”

Hello, dearest Nemo. Inspired by a matter you're probably aware of, here I come, to ask you for certain opinion, although perhaps in form of HeadCanons... Let's say we have Ghibli Movies and the Warlords. Which movie would be each warlord's favourite? What do you think?
Ooooh, lil'Lorei remembers my obsession with Studio Ghibli movies, I see. (. ❛ ᴗ ❛.)(. ❛ ᴗ ❛.)(. ❛ ᴗ ❛.)
Fandom: Ikemen Sengoku
Characters: All - Kanetsugu because idk I can’t find shit on him only that he is a tsun.
Prompt: The warlords and studio Ghibli movies. Disclaimer: I only listed the movies I have watched, which is a fair amount but by no means all.
Tumblr media
To sit on the couch with a Sengoku warlord felt strange. No, it was definitely weird! All the more so when you put up a Studio Ghibli movie. Just any, because you felt like it. Little did you know that the warlord would take so well to it. He had been rather apprehensive at first, after all, moving pictures and that strange sound? But after a while the movies won him over. After all, who could resist the peaceful charm of Studio Ghibli, dreaming away at the romance of everyday life set in a beautiful landscape far away from all worry and chaos?
Nobunaga Oda: Spirited away
“The soot sprites have good taste,” the Oda leader pronounced, a proud smile etched on his face as he enjoyed the movie playing. On the screen the little black balls could be seen carrying off the konpeito, dancing around the little girl that had just lost her name to Yubaba, a move that Nobunaga had heartily laughed at. “I should consider doing this myself,” he had exclaimed, eyes glistening in mischief, “but I would rename them,” and to this remark you could only feel yourself sweatdrop, recalling the animal-inspired nicknames he tended to give his vassals.
Ieyasu Tokugawa: When Marnie was there
Something about the movie triggered something within him. The themes of loneliness, and constantly being moved around, but most of all, the trope of a found family and the concept of home. They resonated with his own childhood that he had resented so much. The past in which he was treated kindly, but also at times cruelly. All of these stories consolidated into one movie and two girls. “Marnie was weak,” he would later say, “good for Anna,” was his end review, but you could see the tears in the corner of his eyes. The movie had touched him.
Hideyoshi Toyotomi: Tales from Earthsea
A story of guilt and servitude? Prince Arren and the shadow that chases him? An inner fear, but yet a strong resolve to sacrifice all to reach ones goal? Hideyoshi is sold. The promise in the end is what gives that extra edge needed as Hideyoshi is weeping at the end of it all. “I will return to you, lord Nobunaga. I will repay all of my sins!” he wails and you know that he means it. Strangely enough, you have a feeling that Nobunaga would like the concept of ‘True Name’
Masamune Date: The wind rises
The story of a young boy whose dreams are shattered because of his weaknesses and then overcoming them? That’s his boy! Masamune has been cheering Jiro on since the opening of the movie and never stopped. Not until halfway through the movie and a frown settles on his face until the man has to gulp audibly to keep himself in check. All that chasing after a dream and the sacrifices made. It definitely hits a snare with the man who is quiet after the movie. He will need a cuddle or two.
Mitsuhide Akechi: Kiki’s delivery service
“There is just something about watching a little mouse grow up, isn’t there?” Mitsuhide teases with that lilting smile of his ever-present. But between the affectionate nickname and watching the movie there is something wistful about the man who sees the peaceful coming-of-age and finding identity and inspiration for live and passion within the little girl on her broom. He doesn’t say it, but he hopes that children in the future can grow up in such peace as Kiki does, able to adventure and a home to return to.
Kyubei: Whisper of the heart
Two kids chasing after their dreams, one set and the other just learning about it and a very capable cat that guides them. Kyubei enjoys the relationship that develops and the romance that comes with it, finding the fantasy element adorable. “I have a favourite person as well,” he tells you later with a mystifying smile, referring to the poster advertising the movie. A favourite person and a dream, he realises, which he hadn’t before.
Mitsunari Ishida: The secret world of Arrietty
“How very inventive!” the man constantly exclaims as he watches the little Arrietty move around in the garden. When she is fighting off bugs her own size Mitsunari clasps his hands together, as he rattles off on the many efficiencies they can make use of the bugs and employ the garden and the doll house. In the end Mitsunari feels only a little sad about Arrietty’s departure, though he has all faith that the friends will meet again, “is there a sequel,” he asks you for that, eager and beaming.
Keiji Maeda: Howl’s moving castle
Of course Howl’s theatrical ways are what enraptured the man at first, accompanied with Sophie’s determination and go-getters attitude. “That is no dull woman!” he exclaims happily as he watches the older sister fall to the curse cast by the witch. And though it is only vaguely implied Keiji comes to understand that it was something about the heart, just as Howl transforms because of his own heart. ‘A heart is a heavy burden.’ Sophie’s line catches him and Keiji agrees that Sophie’s hair is like starlight. He turns to you, however and tells you that you’re his starlight.
Ranmaru Mori: The cat returns
The cats, Baron the gentleman cat that just looks super cook and a whole slew of shenanigans about to happen. Secretly Ranmaru sees Kennyo in Baron, dreaming away watching his master be the cool hero that he was always meant to be. A little mysterious, totally awesome and can kick ass. Yes, that’s his favourite person!
Kennyo: My neighbour Totoro
There is something homely about the strange giant figure with its creepy smile and silent gestures. In fact, the whole movie endears the man. Two girls surrounded by the beauty of nature, growing up in peace and afraid of soot, catbus riding them to their mother. Kennyo can’t help but smile at the outrageousness of it all, finding it all very endearing. Secretly he thinks himself as Totoro, hiding in the forests and watching over the innocents.
Kenshin Uesugi: Princess Mononoke
A story about rulership, about how humanity ruins life eventually, about destruction and a lot of fighting. Kenshin loves it, especially for the last part. But as a former monk himself with a good appreciation for the gods and nature Kenshin relates to lady Eboshi who is willing to fight all if it means keeping her people safe and San, who fights to protect what she holds dear. He understands that and he relates to that.
Shingen Takeda: The tale of the princess Kaguya
A classic he is familiar with turned into an animation he has never experienced! Shingen loves it. Though he has to admit that he likes the story versions better he has a good appreciation for the artistry and the interpretation of the story, along with the pain of forgetting and leaving.
Yukimura Sanada: Porco Rosso
His favourite nickname turned into a character! Yukimura was flabbergasted at first, but then he came to understand that this was a spell of sorts, just as the movie itself was a trick of magic called science. But alas, that’s not why Yukimura was so in awe with the movie, it was the cool zeal in which the main character flies for his convictions. And somewhere deep down, though he will never admit such, the main character reminds him of Shingen.
Sasuke Sarutobi: Grave of the fireflies
Ah, the classic on which a whole generation was cruelly introduced to Studio Ghibli’s magic, the movie that started it all and above all: made everyone cry. Some may find him a bit of a weirdo to choose this as his favourite movie, after all it is such a sad movie. But it is the history, the message behind it, the themes dealt with and at last the pain and love of the siblings bereft by war. Sasuke’s heart is beaming just at the thought of the entire movie as his eyes start to tear up, dryly.
Kichou: Nausicaä of the Valley of the Wind
There is no movie that quite agrees with him that the world is set out for doom than Nausicaä. The world is destroyed by humanity in a war, humans are still at war, but not only amongst each other for their greed but also with nature. Nature is trying to kill them for the sins committed by man. It all comes together and shows how the blight of this world truly is men and how the future that you come from is just an illusionary peace.
Yoshimoto Imagawa: Ocean Waves
Modern life poured into an artistic expression of young love. There is nothing quite more artistic than that in Yoshimoto’s opinion. The art is pretty, the story is enjoyable and not too riddled with all ugly traits and reminders of chaos and war and he gets to observe the modern world and its beauty a little more. Yes, Yoshimoto is indeed trying to forget about all the ugliness back in the Sengoku.
Motonari Mouri: Castle in the sky
Sky pirates, raiding a precious city, chaos overall and a booming ending? Sign him up. Motonari doesn’t really care for the main characters, finding them too sweet and innocent, but he has noticed that this is an overall trend within Studio Ghibli movies. Do, tell him more about the sky pirates, however and he definitely needs one of those flying machines.

Here's a more serious prompt. Before the fallout of Team Captain A and Team Iron Man. Every citizen is saved from a tragic natural disaster... all but a 2 year-old child. Vision is the only one who can reach her, to recover her body. It effects him deeply because it is the first time in his short life that he has held a young life snuffed-out in his arms. Wanda notices the difference in his demeanor afterwards as he processes. Comfort and lesson on mortality and heroism even in "failures."
Vision had noticed the distinct difference in the number of disasters that had occurred over the past couple of months.  Ever since the fall of Ultron and his subsidiaries, ne’er-do-wells were becoming more brazen than ever before.  While he may not have been “alive” per say before Ultron, the data spoke for itself.  The rise of villainy had increased by at least 23%.  That number did not sit well with him.
Every outing, he pushed himself like never before.  Not allowing himself to do anything less than his maximum output.  He was fully aware at the stark difference in capabilities between himself and the other Avengers.  His power was far greater than theirs at an exponential rate, only growing stronger with time.  Vision’s strength and abilities were unmatched, making him the perfect sythezoid for the job to scan for survivors inside the building as it began its descent.
The very memory of everything that had transpired earlier that very day still shook him, unable to fully describe the odd feeling that rushed through him.
Vision had done everything in his power to ensure that everyone in the building had escaped, but upon searching the rubble after the building had fallen, the team had discovered one small body.  Not everyone had been saved.
A heavy weight sat upon his shoulders as they made their way back to the compound.  No amount of thanks from those he had been able to get to a safe distance had been enough to shake the image from his mind.  Her small, lifeless body hiding beneath the debris.  Somehow, his programming had missed her.  The density of that realization crushed his very being, constricting his insides as he tried to focus on the task at hand: discovering the source of his malfunction.
The other members of the team had kept their distance, clearly sensing the unnatural aura that surrounded him as he remained in deep thought.  They kept to themselves on the other side of the plane, happy to give him space.  Their partnership had still been so new and Vision hardly blamed them for staying back.   Vision couldn’t help but notice his colleagues who taken it upon themselves to start celebrating in the back of the cabin, something that seemed frivolous after what just happened.
Wanda was the first that came up to him, awkwardly sitting in the chair in front of him.  She was quiet for a moment, silently searching his features before speaking up.
“Hey...you alright?”  Her voice was soft and comforting, a small smile twitching the corners of her mouth.
“I'm conflicted...”  Vision rolled his head from side to side, hoping to fully understand himself and these strange feelings that kept him from finding the answers.
“Oh?”
“I am well aware that my capabilities allow me to do exponentially more than some of the others on board this very plane.  But, I...clearly have some faults in my programming as I was unable to locate everyone before evacuation took place.”  Vision tried to go through what had happened methodically, unable to fully discern why he had missed her.  A blind spot had to have been the culprit, but any internal scan he performed on himself turned up nothing amiss.
“Vis...”  Wanda drew out his name, chiding him softly.
Holding his hand up, he stopped her.  “I do not make errors.” His voice hardened as his throat hitched. He had been created as this perfect being, a fact he had slowly begun to doubt little by little as the days passed.  And now, he believed that to be completely false.  He should have been able to locate the girl as well.
Vision remained quiet, anger and frustration welling up inside him.  He had never felt so many complex emotions at once and feared the process would overwork his circuitry if he continued down this path.
“It was just a mistake," Wanda said softly.
“A mistake that cost a child her life.”
A silence grew between the two. He watched as Wanda grimaced, obviously unsure whether she was doing more harm than good by talking with him.  Loss and grief were factors he never understood, but he was uncertain whether those were the proper terms for what he was feeling at this moment.  He knew nothing of this girl, but the responsibility that he had to her and the failures that followed were beyond what his algorithm was able to bear.
“I know...I’m not exactly the best role model when it comes to this type of thing.  I mean hell, you talked to me about the same thing not that long ago.”  Wanda chuckled softly, running a shaky hand through her hair, playing with the tips as she reached the end.
“This is quite different than your predicament.  That girl’s life sits on my shoulders.  I have failed.  Perhaps...”  Vision paused.  “My programming needs a more thorough scan once we return to the compound.  Sufficient measures should be put into place so that my mistakes do not take another life.  A full reboot may be in order.”
"Oh, Vis...You can’t think of it like that...”  A panicky look washed over her as she moved to the edge of her seat.  It was necessary for the Avengers to make sure that he was operational, should a reboot become necessary it seemed only logical.  Adjustments had to be made so these bugs do not repeat themselves.
“And how should I think of it?”
Wanda sighed softly, leaning back in her chair.  Her eyes scanned the floor, mulling over her words carefully before she spoke her mind.
“Same way you told me.  Focus on those you saved and do better.”  She looked down for a moment, glancing out the window at the clouds that passed them.  While part of her words had indeed been from him the day Pietro died, Captain Rogers words had been added.  Do better.  The very words resonated with his core, only seeming to confuse him even further.  “Because of you, we saved a lot of people, Vis.  More than we would have had you not been there.  I don’t think that was a failure.”
“Wanda,” he started, a hint of sadness still present in his voice.  “You misunderstand the point.”
“No, you misunderstand,” Wanda snapped, looking back at him with sharp eyes.  “You’re more human than you realize...Mistakes happen.  We learn from our mistakes and save more people the next chance we get.  That’s it.”
Vision never expected this sort of outburst, a fascinating human trait that took even the being who said it completely off guard.  Words meant wholeheartedly, but perhaps not meant to be said.  A fact made evident as Wanda’s eyes widened at the realization of what she just said.  She bit her bottom lip, regret crossing her features as she curled her legs into her chest.
He knew perfectly well that he wasn’t human, but they both knew that wasn’t what she meant.
“You’re allowed to make mistakes, okay?  You won’t miss anyone next time,” Wanda admitted in his place.  “I know you won’t.  You’ll do better.”  Vision nodded, not entirely sure the confusion and worry had been erased from his mind, but the wholeheartedness of Wanda’s words gave him hope that maybe she was right.  Next time, he’ll find a way to do better.

Yeah I'm honestly a bit surprised by how passionate and vocal people are about hating twenty one pilots? It's kinda upsetting that when I try to interact with content about them I'm always a bit worried in the back of my mind because I'm a pretty sensitive person and it's hard not to let stuff get to me.
I don’t know why it’s always felt like twenty one pilots has gotten a ton of hate for no reason? I’ve been into them since 2013-2014 so pure unadulterated vessel era, I’m a very old fan of them and their music, like one of the oldest picture in my phone is this
Tumblr media
(This picture isn’t important I just love it, plus something fun to look at with a not so fun subject material)
(Long history as a fan rant incoming lol)
I’ve been an emo kid for a really long time, back when all of the emo bands were big, when seeing another kid wearing a panic! shirt always meant you talked to them in the mall, I still remember when I would wear the one twenty one pilots shirt I could afford outside, that anyone who knew who they were would come up and start a conversation with me
And it’s like through the years the hate has changed to be... somehow worse
Back in the early days tøp used to get called not a true emo band because they didn’t have anyone playing the guitar so everyone hated them because they weren’t emo Enough
Plus there was the whole ‘emo trinity’ ‘emo quartet’ infighting nonsense but that’s so long past idk if anyone even remembers it lol
Then blurryface rolls around and fans are being made fun of for dressing funky and going through that one fandom phase where everyone was calling the boys smol beans it was great and cute, we were all really close, we called each other frens, told each other to stay street it was great! So what people made fun of us or whatever we were absolutely vibing
Twenty one pilots felt like the coolest secret gang of fans, we were absolutely huge, more so than most people would think, and man it was awesome!! If you saw a tøp fan you knew that you were cool with that person and that person would be cool with you!! It was amazing!! Sometimes I do miss this vibe!!
But then Stressed Out ended up on the radio...
I feel like it really all changed here, all of the sudden the old fandom things were cringy, the boys were sell outs, and every family member you knew was suddenly the biggest fan despite only knowing stressed out
I remember being upset around this time because of strangers invading my space, this was my group, filled with people who understood what the lyrics meant and knew and understood how much they meant to all of us, and suddenly it was filled with people who didn’t belong
I didn’t blame the pilot boys, obviously they can’t control what’s on the radio, I’m fact, there’s plenty of pilot songs that mention never being played on the radio because of one reason or another, so my problem was never with the boys, it was with the influx of new people, and by new people I don’t mean new fans, I mean news outlets and tv show host, and with that influx came the people who didn’t get it, you know? That were rude and outright nasty and refused to understand anything about the genre and effort put into the story and why it mattered to us
(Tw for suicide mention, and uncomfortable themes involving people making fun of themes involving it, tw for mentions of school shootings)
All of the sudden we were the fans of Tyler Joseph the man who ‘Glorifies Suicide’ and actively is supposedly encouraging that behavior
We were the cringy fans everyone knew in high school and hated who were described as being ‘JuSt So QuIrkY 🤪’, instead of the mentally ill kids we all were, by people who hated us
We were the fans of those ‘white boys who look like school shooters’ (this one honestly rocked me to my core, it still hurts to even see??? Like idk why but it almost makes me want to cry)
At the same time a lot of the old fans were turning their back on the pilots, they didn’t want to be involved anymore, they hated ALL of the new fans whether they were respectful or not
It was a REALLY hard time to be a new fan, very few people were open to having them involved in anything, I think this is when a lot of hatred happened in the fandom not only fan-fan fighting/hatred but also fan-band sentiments weren’t great either
The more songs that ended up on the radio the more the hatred grew, in fact this got so bad Tyler did this
youtube
Here’s a transcript in case it’s hard to hear
Tumblr media
Like... this was the state of our fan group.... it was suddenly cool to hate all the songs that ended up on the radio so much it affected every part of our music journey
There was a lot of infighting, it was an awful time to be a fan, new or old
Then came silence era, in which every tøp blog I followed except like 2, became kpop blogs and I’m not sure any of them ever came back lol, I actually really disliked kpop because of this for a bit in like a jokey kind of way in my own head lol (ahh how the turn tables have turned... kpop and tøp are the only things I listen to now haha, actually because of all my tøp mutuals becoming kpop blogs I vowed to myself to not change this blog to another group so I have two music blogs now, which makes me laugh but also shows how important music is to me so it makes me happy anyways you know?)
It was kind of a sad way to have the fandom disappear, everything was strangled, the boys were gone, and no one kept up with the fandom, it felt really lonely
When Trench era clues started back people started coming back, the mood was different, we had something to do and it was fun to work on something with others, we had the Clancy letters, and all the clues, and the tower of silence and the vultures!! It was great! It started to feel like we had rebuilt something from the rubble of what we had been
The fandom started calling Tyler stinky and he called us b*stards it was great, sometimes people were a bit meaner than I think they thought they were being, but it worked you know?
When the album released we had more people come back and things slowly started fitting back ok again, more songs ended up on the radio and a lot of older fans said the same things they’re saying now, but it wasn’t that bad, it was mostly very positive
And then we got to the over the summer drama, which........... is a sensitive subject, but I legitimately do not understand how it was Tyler’s fault that people assumed he was talking about something when he wasn’t talking about it at all... especially when people have been begging him for years to talk more about mental health, he wanted to introduce whatever he was going to do with a joke, I personally never though he was talking about the big issue at the time of the incident, but it blew up like wildfire and the next thing you know he’s canceled because Other People Assumed Something
So now it’s ‘Morally Justifiable’ to hate Tyler because he’s r*cist or something, despite it never being his intention and because people assumed something
It’s literally not even with good reason that people are doing this, but because it blew up when it did and about what it did, no one knows what really happened and people just wanted a morally justified reason to hate them because you can’t just dislike something anymore without it being justifiable I guess? I feel like with all of the years I’ve spent on the internet everything has only become more hateful...
All this to say.... yes, it hurts when people hate the things that you do, I get really sensitive about it as well, especially with how long and how many arguments I’ve seen, and I am extremely sensitive to discourse and hatred, it’s why I don’t engage with much of it online, in fact I was about to delete the post complaining about everyone hating on them before I saw it was really resonating with you guys
I guess my best advice to you anon, would to try to understand where it’s coming from, that’s what’s helped me, I know a lot of people dislike the pilots because of the fact that they became ‘mainstream’ during blurryface era, and people are really upset by that, so understanding that, even when it hurts, I can acknowledge that they feel that way and that it’s ok that I feel differently
It’s easy to take that point and test it against your own morals, ‘do I think twenty one pilots became mainstream, or only makes songs to get on the radio?’ If your answer is no, then you can both say ‘I don’t agree with them but they’re allowed to have their own opinion’ and kind of give yourself a wall and barrier against what they say
I know this isn’t perfect advice, but it’s helped me a lot
I know there are two big arguments against this album, that it’s mainstream and made to have radio singles (the underlying argument here I guess being Tyler and Josh are money hungry and no longer care about the music)
And that it’s no longer lyrically meaningful, but I think this has to do a lot with how involved people are in the Dema lore, if you’re not a fan of lore I would imagine this album being propaganda and supposed to be fake and bright to prove a point would really bug you if you didn’t really get it
To best thing to do is digest an argument (only if you can handle it emotionally of course 🖤) and know it’s ok that think differently than other people, and that the chances of someone being mad at you are very slim
A lot of things I’ve enjoyed have been stolen by the fear of getting hated on for something - while in actuality, the very few times I’ve gotten real hate over something barely affected me
I admit the fear of getting hate bothers me a lot more than actually getting it, but I just want to encourage you to stay strong in the face of it, it will pass, as it all does, but if nothing else in this post resonates with you, PLEASE HOLD ONTO YOUR JOY FOR AS LONG AS YOU CAN! And don’t let ANYONE take it from YOU!!
If twenty one pilots makes you happy, just remember that the only person who can take that true joy away from you is yourself, remove the people who make you feel sad out of your life, I apologize if this is a physical person in your life as this makes it a lot harder, and sometimes impossible depending on the situation, but on the internet unfollow anyone, block anyone, don’t engage and leave them alone, it’s not with your energy or effort, and they’ll never change their minds but they can change yours you know?
Being sensitive in a time when everything is hateful is hard, especially when everyone tells you you’re a bad person if you aren’t engaged, but you really don’t have to be, you get to choose your own destiny you know? Don’t let other people choose it for you

@uchihaprodigy asked:
The locals had laughed when they’d asked about their route and told them to ‘watch their backs’ with no further explanation. Itachi keeps their warning in mind, eyes surveying the ground as he leaps from branch to branch, trailing behind the rest of his 3 man team. And then he sees it, a flash of silver-white eyes in the undergrowth, reflective like a cat and his breath catches in his throat. To his disdain, his team doesn’t notice and their chatter moves further and further away. In Konoha, they have traditions and stories about spirits and ghosts that haunt forests. You appease an obake and spare yourself their wrath by making an offering. If it’s to their satisfaction, they won’t follow you home. Itachi slips to the ground, landing cushioned by chakra, and pulls his bento from his pack. He doesn’t know if it really is an obake or just a boy, but he maintains a careful distance. Despite his caution, Itachi is a kind child, and no one wants to die wandering through vast forests. After a curt bow, he lowers the box to the ground, and then leaps back and speeds towards his team.

As traditions of his own family dictated, an Hoshigaki’s child as soon reaching the age of 10 years old should go though a certain kind of pilgrimage. Their hearts and mind needed to be sharpened to understand the importance of their place in the food chain. Marking in their soul that their flesh and bones one day would came back to the nature; that why no one should fear the death’s embrace. That there was no sin in taking a life, just the burden of disposing of an body back to mother nature. Being alive was a privilege to be earned, and with that, Kisame; the stronger of his cousins was left to be on his own.          His mother taught him well, but not everything could be learned without practice. Kisame soon learned that as he noticed there wasn’t any more preys in the surroundings. He hunted too much in one spot; without moving and animals noticed that.         The price of disturbing the ecosystem was the sharp pain of hunger; the lack of proper proteins resulted into strength being drained. He cursed himself on not paying attention to it earlier. The water from the river was the remedy to appease the rumbling of his stomach.  Days passed by, he slept by counting the visible ribs over his body. Every day getting more and more easy to feel on the tips of fingers.         As if his prayers had been heard by a benevolent entity, steps resonated not too far. Kisame did the best to hide himself, following in silent to finally be able to see what was. Kids, like him, but not exactly the same as him or his mothers or anyone else from Kiri.  “Stupid sardine, stopping in the middle of a forest... wish there was more meat in your bones, nee.” Kisame though, positioning himself lower in the ground. Legs flexed to jump, teeth open to rip apart.  1, 2 — A long breath and.         Kisame was frozen in place as the smell touched his nostrils. Rice? Omelet? MEAT? Mouth watering as he forgot he was supposed to hunt down the black haired boy that now ran away. He was alone again. Well....He still had manners; as he so politely sat closer to it, suspiciously unwrapping .....and bashing his head over. Munching as quickly possible without thinking a single though, it was delicious. Nothing alike raw meat and bugs.  He didn’t even noticed when the food had ended, leaving him biting the corners of the bento as he tried to still feel the taste of it.         “ ...Waahhh! ” He stood up, filling his lungs with air. “I WON’T EAT YOU NEXT TIME AS A THANK! NEEE~ ” A stomach full of food brought an biggest smile from the pup as he screamed. Oh no —he shouldn’t had used too much energy before being able to digest the food. His head felt light as his hand cold, soon his face touched the dirty.          He blinked slowly, still barely aware of his surroundings. Maybe just a little nap would be enough to recover. “If that was my last meal, at least was so..wonderful. thank you, nee...” he whispered before falling asleep smiling.

Finding Nemo

BRUNO SURVIVES AU
HUGE SPOILERS FROM PART 5, VENTO AUREO
Everything seemed to have come to an end, Giorno took one last look at the river where Diavolo had fallen down, then summoned Gold Experience Requiem.
For a reason not even the boy himself could understand...He was afraid of his stand. It kept on staring him right in the eyes, like a slave waiting for his master's commands.
He knew it couldn't hurt him, but it didn't matter, he couldn't bring himself to believe this was really an incarnation of his soul.
"At your service, how may I assist you?"
Upon hearing the stand talking like an independent identity, the fear inside Giorno's heart grew even bigger.
"I need to know...What have you done to Diavolo?"
He said, directing his sigh to the arrow stuck in its palm.
"I gave him the punishment a being like him deserves. He wished to be at the top, to overcome any...Error of his past, to become unkillable. And now... He will be experiencing death until everything ceases to exist. I'd dare to say, it's almost amusing, wouldn't you agree?"
The stand concluded, a little smirk formed on his face.
Giorno didn't have the courage to look at the...Creature he had just given life to, he instinctively turned around, facing away from it.
"Master? Aren't you satisfied with my work?"
The godly entity said, approaching his user, trying to get him to and face it.
But Giorno still resisted, instictly closing his eyes.
"Be more specific, what kind of punishment is he enduring?"
"He will be constantly sent to alternatives realities, and in each one of them he will experience a different form of death, like drowning, to make a simple example. Even right now, as we're talking, Diavolo has already been killed multiple times"
The young boy bit his lips, when he felt something touching him on the shoulder, it didn't take much to realize whose hand it was.
"What's the matter, Master? Your behavior is quite...Unusual"
"...Everything is fine"
"Allow me to remember you, that I'm nothing more than a manifestation of yourself, hiding your thoughts from me isn't going to be particularly useful"
"I'm not hiding anything"
He said, retracting his stand, a drop of blood fell on his chest
"Know your place"
He turned around and reopened his eyes; his attention was caught by Mista and Trish sharing a laugh together. Giorno wondered how they could be so carefree after everything they've been through.
Abbacchio... Narancia... Bucciarati...
He asked to himself how he could have ever explained to them that the man was gone, and that he had known it from the beginning.
"Come on Giorno, we gotta save Bucciarati!"
Mista said, interrupting his friend's thoughts.
The blonde, in return, did not say a word; trying to avoid anyone's gaze, he followed the older boy and Trish to the colosseum, bringing Polnareff along with them.
His steps were slow, reluctant, and heavy. He didn't have the courage to face what was going to happen next.
"Uh...This place didn't look so big earlier, we're gonna take hours to find him! Giorno, can you use Gold Experience to sense his life energy?"
"My stand has been quite active lately, I'd rather not overuse it, if you don't mind"
It was the best excuse he could make up on the moment, he has always had a talent to trick everyone around him as it pleased him, but this time...It was different. He wished he could have just run away, and convince himself that it was for the best.
Before Trish could answer, they heard a scream coming not very far away from them, it was Mista's.
The girl grabbed Giorno by the arm, and ran into the direction where the sound came from.
At last...There it was: Bucciarati's body. His eyes were open, but there was no flicker of light inside of them, just a plain, dull blue. A part of his clothes was torn, even though there wasn't a single drop of blood on him.
"It...It can't be...This is a joke, r-right? Bucciarati is going to wake up...He'll be fine...RIGHT?"
Trish fell to her knees, as the tears started flooding on her face.
Even if she had known the man in white for such a short time, he had been a better parental figure to her than her own father ever was.
Mista put an hand on her shoulder, trying to restrain from bursting in tears as well.
Giorno simply stood there, constantly switching his sigh from the two mourning teens to Bruno's corpse.
The shell of the turtle he was holding slipped away from his palms, and fell to the ground. Every inch of his body was shaking like the last leaf left on a tree in the middle of October, fighting back, to show that he was stronger than the ones around him.
Shaking...That's what he would always do whenever he felt fear invading him.
"There's no point in crying" is the phrase he'd constantly repeat to himself as a child, every time his mother would leave him in the middle of the night, or his father would brutally hit him with the closest object he could find.
When Narancia's soul left his body, for the first time in his life, Giorno felt his eyes getting wet, but he refused to let the tears flow, he couldn't show such sign of weakness in a situation where all of their lives were on the line.
But now... Staring at that body completely drained of any sign of energy, reminded him of the heart crushing sensation of seeing his closest friend vanishing in front of his eyes, and not being able to do anything to save him.
For a split second, he felt the urge to jump from the railing that ideally separated the two of them. He wanted to follow him, he didn't care where they would have gone, he could not bring himself to accept that Bruno was not there anymore.
Giorno was just a boy, and despite how much he didn't want to admit it, he was still immature, he refused to let go of the blue haired man.
He had already experienced it in Venezia; when he noticed that his attempts to keep in contact with Bucciarati inside the tower had failed, he panicked, and did something no member of an organization like Passione should do: disobey his Boss' orders.
And even then, his desire to keep him by his side...Was so strong that he said 'no' to death itself.
But in the end, it was useless, bringing him back was just a fake hope Giorno had decided to believe in.
Mista turned around to look at the boy, his expression was a mixture of anger and deep sadness. He was clutching his teeth, breathing heavily.
"What are you waiting for? Heal him! Bring him back before it's too late, or are you just going to stand there and let him suffer until he dies?"
"M-Mista...You know I can't do that, just like I couldn't bring Abbacchio or Narancia back, Bucciarati's soul has already left his body"
He reached out his arm into the gunman's direction, but Mista pulled away, pointing his stand right into the boy with green eyes' head.
"How are you so calm, uh? How aren't you shedding a single tear? Did you ever even care about him, about ANY of us?!"
"...I understand how you feel, but Bucciarati was perfectly aware of the risk he would have taken when we betrayed Diav-"
"YOU DON'T KNOW A DAMN THING, GIOVANNA! STOP ACTING LIKE YOU'RE SUPERIOR TO ALL OF US"
He said, nervously tickling the trigger. He was expecting Giorno to get back, or to at least show any kind of concern. But the boy did not flinch, looking at him with eyes emptier than Bucciarati's.
It almost seemed like it was exactly what he wanted: he was waiting- no, he was hoping for Mista to shoot at him.
"W-WHAT THE HELL GIORNO? DO YOU WANT ME TO P-PUT A FREAKING BULLET I-IN YOUR HEAD SO MUCH?"
"Do as it pleases you, I am not going to fight back"
"...You knew a-about this, didn't you? What did you do to him inside the tower in Venezia?"
"..."
Mista put the gun down, and grabbed him by the shoulders, pushing him against the floor. Giorno's curls were reduced to a blonde mess.
The back of his clothes got torn as well, one of the lady bug ornaments fell to the ground, breaking in two.
"I told you, I'm not going to resist"
The calmness that came from his voice was unnatural, like a patient mother who had seen her child throwing a tantrum multiple times, and had become apathetic to it.
"I won't say it again, Giovanna. What did you do to Bucciarati in Venezia?"
Giorno sighed heavily, then took a deep breath. Despite how numb he may have looked from outside, he was just as much, if not, more hurt to see Bucciarati in that state than anyone else.
"Bucciarati was killed"
Those words resonated throughout the entire Colosseum. The two boys could hear Trish's sobs becoming even louder than before, but they brushed it off.
"...The hell are you talking about? Did you go insane? Are you seriously telling me your stand can bring people back from the dead? I want the truth, not some fairy ta-"
"You're not entirely wrong, but you are not right either"
"W-what did you just say?"
"I did bring him back to life, or so I thought...To the very least. But the energy that my Gold Experience was able to inject inside of him only lasted for a very short time. His soul was perfectly intact...But his body was simply too unstable"
Mista let go of the boy, gesturing for him to get up. The anger in his eyes seemed to have vanished, his tone was now resembling Giorno's.
"Alright, I believe you"
The latter picked up what was left of his left brooch, and tried to get some dust off his clothes.
"Very well, I'm glad we could-"
"Do it again"
Mista said, kneeling down to Bruno's level, to check the parts of his body that he had previously shot to.
"You said you brought him back, do it again"
Giorno got closer to his companion, putting an hand on his shoulder.
"Mista... I cannot do that, some stands are remarkably powerful, but they have limits too"
"Maybe before, but yours is not a normal stand anymore, if he managed to survive for a while using only its old powers, who says that it's not going to work permanently this time?"
"I'm-"
"Not leaving until you try"
He concluded, stepping back so that Giorno could have a full view of the body. Reluctantly, he summoned his stand, still avoiding doing eye contact as hard as he could.
"Master, if I may, I don't believe this is exactly a very smart idea"
"I know, and I agree, but we will never see the end of this if we don't at least give it a try"
"Don't...Please"
"What's the matter? In the worst case scenario, nothing will change, we'll just give Bucciarati the burial he deserves, and move on"
"This will be the biggest regret in your life, we don't have to do this, YOU are the Boss now, Mista has no authority over you"
"...You're right"
He gently put the man's head on his knees, placing an hand on his chest.
"And you don't either"
Before the stand could oppose any resistance, a blindly beam of light surrounded the three.
One, two, three minutes passed. Nonetheless, such a small period of time seemed to be never-ending.
Gold Experience Requiem vanished,  accompanied by the sound of Giorno's heavy breathing, he could barely keep his eyes open.
That's when he suddenly heard something resonating, even though he could not tell where it came from.
It was a calm, slow sound, that seemed to become slightly more intense with every moment that passed.
Instinctively, he looked down, and was met with a pair of bright, blue, lively eyes staring back at him.
That sound...Was Bucciarati's heartbeat.
His lips were contracted, forming an imperceptible smile. He put his hand on the boy's, it was warm, and delicate.
"G-Giorno? I...I don't understand... Why am I here? Y-you...Didn't die, r-right? We were so close to d-defeating Diavolo, don't tell m-me..."
"Everything is okay, Bucciarati. I'm alive...And so are you"
"What? But...My s-soul...How did this happen?"
"I'm...Not quite sure, to be honest. I suppose my stand has truly surpassed any other"
In a matter of few seconds, the man found himself surrounded by Mista and Trish, who hugged him tight with tears in their eyes.
"Bucciarati...You're alive! It worked, it actually worked!"
"We...We thought we had lost you forever...I'm NEVER letting you go again!"
The man chuckled softly, moved by their genuine concern for him.
He turned his attention to Giorno, who had immediately retracted himself in the moment the two had threw themself on him.
"Aren't you happy to see me? Don't you want to join us?"
"I...never really liked physical contact, I hope you understand"
"Is that so?"
Bruno summoned Sticky Fingers, giving the blonde boy a small push from behind, making him fall right on him.
"Forgive me, but I have no intention of letting you out of this group hug"
He smiled sweetly, hoping for a smile in return, but Giorno lowered his head, his hands still welded to his hips.
"If...You insist"

Any little fun headcanons?
(I have a lot, but to keep it short, 1-2 headcanons per character-)
GORDON
He usually speaks without thinking whenever he's really stressed or irritated, leading to him audibly cursing right in front of the kid!science team, and well... You can imagine the repercussions: Gordon frantically sushing and apologizing to the group for his mistake, Tommy wondering what the words mean in which case, Coomer gladly quotes the Wikipedia's article on profanity and gives examples of every curse word under the Black Mesa's fluorescent lights, Bubby would be hysterical and would, without a doubt, holler the words back at Gordon and would be stoked when Coomer gives more examples, and Benrey would just be chill about the whole situation, but alas, they would often utter some curse words along the way just for the shits and giggles.
Gordon would often ask the remaining stray scienctists to watch over the science team whenever he had to run a quick errand such as taking care of the aliens in the next room, or charging his H.E.V. suit. This would always end up horribly as once Gordon returns, the scienctist would mysteriously be dead and he knows exactly the reason why, and no, he doesn't even want to know how they were even capable of doing so-
COOMER
Coomer is the mom friend in the group, their the first one to notice if anybody's feeling down and would try their absolute best to cheer them up, mainly through either telling and cracking jokes, sharing stray snacks they tucked away in their labcoat pockets, or just simply trying his best to understand the situation to the best of his abilities.
Would use his robotic limbs for many 'hilarious' and 'fun' instances; i.e. extending his arms to pick up stray headcrabs and showing them off to Gordon right infront of his face, causing him to constantly beg Coomer to put it down, extending his legs to be on eye-level with both Tommy and Gordon, or even being taller than them, and even just boopin' everybody on the nose using his extendo-arms.
BUBBY
They hate being the second shortest in the group, the shortest being Benrey, so they try to convince Gordon constantly to allow them to wear high-heel boots, which Gordon keeps denying since one, they're too big on them, and two, Gordon cannot count how many times Bubby tripped and fell while wearing them. To make it up to them, Gordon would carry them, which would freak them out due to his fear of heights. (You cannot win with them...)
They will fight anybody that fucks with their Bug Juice. Do you know how difficult it is to get a hold of it? Some one would have to order it online or at least go outside to a nearby gas station AND NOW THAT THERE'S A WHOLE ASS BEEN RESONANCE CASCADE-
They're just a complete mess: their glasses are always crooked and often slide off their nose; they're either barefooted or wearing mix and match socks; they have constant bed hair 24/7, etc. (The list can go on.)
TOMMY
Carries around a little notepad with them wherever they go in order to keep track of Benrey's sweet voice. Of course, they do color code everything with either colored pencils or highlighters. Occasionally, they would doodle drawings of either their dad, Sunkist, their friends, or even Gordon himself.
Tommy's really close to Benrey as they are extremely close friends. They can always be seen around one another, and both of them seem to enjoy each other's company. (Benrey especially.) They usually just check up on one another or just simply talk about Beyblades, types of soda, etc.
BENREY
Although their helmet and their bangs are blocking their field of vision, they can still see extremely well, and Gordon doesn't even know how that's even possible, but there are still times where they tend to bump into things here and there. (And then later on, tries to play it off cool.) often asks to borrow pieces of paper from Tommy's notebook and their colored pencils in order to create made-up passports for the gang, but purposely forgets to make Gordon one just to annoy him. (Even if they did get him a passport, you know that Benrey would misspell his name on purpose—putting Feetman as his last name.)

Embrace the Void - An Optimistic Outlook
This is a theory post about Hollow Knight and contains spoilers, so if you haven’t completed the game you should probably not read this post. This was originally posted to Reddit but i’m putting a copy here too. It is my belief that the Embrace the Void ending does not spell doom for Hallownest as is often believed, and here I want to present the evidence as to why. Much of this information will be common knowledge, but I've included it to support my greater point.
Firstly I want to establish that the Shade Lord (or Bill if you're so inclined) is indeed the Knight and not a dormant god or amalgamation. The ancient civilization that predates Hallownest is said to have worshiped no god, instead worshiping the void itself, taken from Lemm's comments on the Void Idol:
Inspired or mad, those ancient bugs. They devoted their worship to no lord, or power, or strength, but to the very darkness itself.
Lemm is not the most reliable of source, but this is supported by the Abyss statue that holds the void bowl when the Knight dream nails it before acquiring the Void Heart:
...Void... Power... Without unity...
Void here is considered a power, but without unity void becomes nothing more than a writhing pool of liquid with some very interesting properties. Now, I have seen it argued that void has a mind of it's own due to some of these properties, but the game actively tells us that it does not. The original description for the Hall of Gods reward statue depicting the Embrace the Void form used to read ‘Void Given Mind’, but ‘Mind’ was quickly changed to ‘Focus’ in a patch. This makes it clear that Team Cherry wants to avoid the association of void having a mind, at least when it comes to an ‘untarnished’ entity. So what causes that weird mind-like behavior? Well, lets talk about what it naturally does first. Void is naturally adverse to light, this is evidenced by a lore tablet found in the king's void workshop:
VOID, yours is the power opposed.
The king is a being of light, so it makes sense for him to consider it opposed to him. It is also evidenced by the lighthouse in the Abyss being used to suppress the void sea, preventing it from lashing out. Void also consumes soul, evidenced by the apparent need for the lighthouse keeper to be kept supplied with the stuff (though most bugs cannot utilize it for spells, if a bug were to become low on soul this may be a way to top up without the use of a hot spring), but also naturally shown by the Knight's capabilities (this could also be attributed to their status as a higher being) and how the shade cloak consumes soul projectiles that pass through it. The soul totems built by the civilization who worshiped the void are another possible avenue of evidence, they were likely constructed from void in its solid form and are used to contain soul. As soul is said to be found in the air, it's possible these totems would be able to extract it as well. From the Deep Focus charm description:
Naturally formed within a crystal over a long period. Draws in SOUL from the surrounding air.
Going back to the Abyss lighthouse, the strongest piece of evidence for the void having its own mind comes from the lighthouse keeper's dream nail dialogue:
...Turn it off?... Cannot...
My King. I'm sorry... The sea calls...
It is apparent that the void had exerted its will over this bug, but here I get into the most important property of void: void is impressionable. Void starts empty but it does not necessarily stay this way, the king used molds to shape void to his will for the creation of the kingsmoulds and wingmoulds, but it can do this organically as well. The most obvious example of this is the Hollow Knight who was "tarnished by an idea instilled", which is strongly hinted to be the bond formed between it and the king. A more extreme example of this exists in the Collector, a seemingly rogue, armourless kingsmould who for whatever reason spent a lot of time around another bug who imprinted upon it. Evidence for this comes from the dream nail dialogue of the husk you find the Love Key on:
Too long... spent together. We become as one...
This is all evidence for void being shaped by others, so what of the lighthouse keeper? Well, this bug was in the unfortunate situation of being right next to an ocean of the stuff. Husks found in proximity to void have void in their eyes, giving evidence that the void manages to get inside of them. Although usually it's just a small amount it is enough to kill them, and in this case, also influence them. Void is opposed to light - void vapor infiltrates the mind - void tells bug to turn the light off.
Okay that was a bit of a tangent but back on topic. After the Knight acquires the Void heart it gains control over the void. Shades no longer attack, tendrils no longer lash out and the Abyss statue changes its dream nail dialogue:
...Lord of Shades...
Furthermore, Bardoon has this to say:
Ohhhmmmm... Tiny thing... It evolves beyond that Wyrm. Such union in a single being. A strength before unseen. Would it too challenge nature? It could perhaps defeat it.
Pretty much everyone agrees that the Wyrm is a god, so if the Knight has truly evolved beyond the Wyrm, that should make it a god at this point as well. Gods in Hollow Knight are not very clear-cut from other bugs, they tend to be more powerful and longer lived, but still remain mortal and vulnerable to the ravages of time (at least when in the physical realm) and physical harm. The Godseekers in particular muddy the water on what can be considered a "god", but even without them there is a contrast in power between the higher beings. Despite not gaining any additional physical prowess, the Knight attaining godhood at this point, particularly as it was already the offspring of higher beings, would not be a far-fetched concept.
So if it is already a god, why did the Godseekers not notice? Because they weren't looking for it. The Godseekers attune through the dream realm by connecting to the minds of bugs, but the Knight is mindless. The Godseekers were only able to find the Hollow Knight because of the Radiance within:
O Gods of Hallownest, graciously thee open the way to this greatest of Pantheons! Thy voices grow closer and thy resonance draws Us ever higher!
Pray will We, Attune will We, until that spark of divine light shines from the deepest darkness!
And still they fear it for its silence:
O bound one, thy silence nearly deafens Us. Foolishly we feared thee, yet only by thine providence shall We find the one We seek. The God sleeping within...
Which is their deepest fear of all, taken from the tuner memory dream nail dialogue:
What gods, to save Us of Our silent mind?
So where am I going with this? Well if the Knight was already a god, then why should its behavior change so dramatically just because it gained a bigger, scarier form? I want to bring attention now to the Dream No More ending. The start of the cutscene that plays during this ending is very similar to the void breaking out of the Godseeker during the Embrace the Void ending, but here it comes from the Black Egg instead. If the scene had cut before showing the void dripping down from the lanterns then anyone would be forgiven for fearing the worst, but it doesn't. After the Black Egg dissolves into void, we see a pool of void disappear from around Hornet, then Hornet wakes up alive and unscathed. Why doesn't it consume her? Because the Knight is in control of it. Later, we see the siblings in the Abyss peacefully returning to their rest, giving us a bitter-sweet ending.
Now to add onto this i'm going to start analyzing the Knight's character. Not much direct characterization is given besides ‘it is empty’, and obviously everyone's Knight is going to act differently depending on how it is played, but there is characterization that can be inferred. Firstly, from what the Knight does regardless of what we want it to do. The Knight always slows to a walk when around Dirtmouth, NPCs and certain sites of significance, I interpret this as it being respectful (interestingly it also slows down around the Radiance statue at the top of Hallownest's Crown, so it seems to understand the religious significance of the site even though it is opposed to the deity). Also in this category are the endings, one of which I've already gone into and i'll get to Embrace the Void and Delicate Flower later. Next would be actions the player can chose to perform, and most players will for gameplay reasons. These include saving Sly, saving Bretta, freeing the grubs and placing the Grey Mourner's delicate flower on her dead lover's grave site. Lastly are choices you get that you don't have to follow and there is no benefit to doing so, these would include giving flowers to other NPCs and sitting beside Quirrel at the Blue Lake, and Marissa at the Pleasure House. The Knight is also a rather aggressive character, but with a few exceptions it only attacks creatures who are infected or insane. The exceptions to this would be if it is attacked first (Hornet, Dung Defender) if it challenges a boss to combat (Mantis Lords), is requested to attack (Nailsmith), it enters a non-lethal dream fight, or the one being attacked really deserved it (Millibelle).
The Knight is not incapable of performing bad actions however. It can leave Zote to die to the Vengefly King (though it cannot kill Zote actively), it can cause Hornet to be trapped with it inside the Black Egg, it can dream nail away passive ghosts and the worst crime of all - it can murder Menderbug! On balance however, the Knight is a generally benevolent character.
I think it's time to address the Vessels in the room, literally - the cutscene you see after completing the Pantheon of the Knight for the first time. This one is strange, it depicts the siblings as though they are alive alongside the Knight and young Hollow Knight before an exchange occurs - the Radiance roars, her light is revealed above, and then the void rises up to meet her. What is odd about this scene is that the Knight can see it without having the Void Heart, but I think I have an explanation for it. When the Knight defeats the Pure Vessel for the first time it becomes attuned with it, by proxy of relation this attunes it with the minds of its other siblings as well. in Godhome, characters attuned within the dream are represented in living form unless they become "gods" while dead, such as the dream warriors and various animated husk bosses. The Knight seeing the siblings together, followed by the void rising up to pursue the Radiance is an indication that they all share a common desire to snuff her out, even when the Knight doesn't have control over them. This can be taken as evidence that the shades are a part of the Shade Lord but I do not think this is the case. As mentioned above, characters attuned to the Godhome enter in best form and none of these siblings are attuned as shades, so they show up in Vessel form (The Hollow Knight presumably shows up in this second form only due to the Knight's attunement with it). Furthermore, no shades show up to assist the Knight in defeating the Radiance at the peak of the Pantheon of Hallownest, meaning the Shade Lord could only be composed of the Knight and the raw void you see rising up during the fight.
So now for the Embrace the Void ending itself. Upon defeating the Radiance we see the Shade Lord descend from above and wrap the Godseeker up in void tendrils, then the scene cuts to her physical body leaking void before the void bursts out of her violently. We cannot know exactly what the entity was doing here, but it's likely that embracing the Godseeker was a means for it to escape into the physical world. The Godseeker does not seem to be afraid of the Shade Lord but rather in awe of it, and there is evidence that despite how devastating its emergence appears, like with Hornet, she survived the ordeal:
Punish this shell, o God of Gods! Blast Our frail, worthless form to ash. We welcome thine fury! Desire beyond desire!
This dialogue is taken from the Godseeker game mode which is set after the Embrace the Void ending, she also thinks this in dream nail dialogue:
We bequeath our all. Our shell. Our mind. We are naught but vassal before thee, o glorious God of Gods!
The Godseekers are a collective hive-mind contained within the body of a single individual. The Godseeker you interact with in Godhome is the lead Godseeker and her shell is her own, so when she refers to ‘Our’ shell she is almost certainly referring to the physical shell they all share. Unless the Godseekers have lost all touch with reality and now only exist within the dream, this indicates that they still have a living body. Although their attitude towards the Knight has shifted... dramatically, they still appear to be perfectly aware of everything that is happening.
After the above mentioned scene we see Hornet watching the infection wither from the Black Egg temple, and then she is startled by the emergence of the Hollow Knight, now free from it's restraints. The Hollow Knight being alive as its own entity serves as further evidence that the Shade Lord is not composed of the siblings shown in the Pantheon of the Knight cutscene, as the young Hollow Knight was a part of that. At the end of this scene, the player gains the Embrace the Void achievement which has the description ‘Ascend the Pantheon of Hallownest and take your place at its peak’. Your place, it is the Knight specifically who is at the peak.
Possible counter points:
You cannot leave Godhome in Godseeker mode, which could be taken as evidence that Hallownest was destroyed. The Knight's physical form has been irreversibly altered, however just like Godseeker their dream form can be different, so they can only exist as the Knight within the dream world now.
Why did the Embrace the Void ending cut away from Godseeker when it did if not to imply something terrible happening? Dramatic effect, uncertainty, possibly you are meant to draw parallels with the Dream No More ending yourself. I'm only here to shed doubt on the Shade Lord being a malevolent entity, not to definitely state that nothing bad will happen.
Why can the Knight bring the Godseeker a delicate flower if not to protect Hallownest from what would emerge? The Knight doesn't know anything about the delicate flowers, as mentioned in dialogue from the White Lady:
There is rare power hidden in those frail petals.
To hold it so close, one must surely be unaware of its nature...
It is my belief that up until this point the Knight had been protected from the flower's power by its ‘holy shell’ born from the White Lady and Pale King. Upon shedding this shell and becoming one with the void, the flower reacts by banishing the Shade Lord along with the Godseeker who still harbors it.
What about the roar of the Shade Lord we hear in the scene after the Pantheon of the Knight? If it hadn't been pointed out to me that this was a roar and not just the noise of the void rising up I wouldn't have even noticed honestly. You have to take information found in the game files with a grain of salt, this can be foreshadowing or the ‘voice’ of void even when not united, though void having a ‘voice’ at all is a rather contradictory idea...
So in conclusion, given what we can extrapolate about the Shade Lord and the nature of the player character, I don't think there is good enough evidence for it to become a malevolent entity within Hallownest. Thank you for reading and please tell me if I've missed anything!
Tl;DR: Bill is the Knight, Bill is a cool guy, please don't be scared of Bill.
