Y’know I never gave much thought to Keeley/Roy/Jamie potentially being canon but I gotta say, “two guys who hated each other to the point of repeated violence end up becoming best friends and when one is depressed, the other recruits their mutual ex-girlfriend (whom they have both confessed to still being in love with) to fix the problem, resulting in him taking them both home to meet his mother where they find he has posters of both of them in his childhood bedroom and all three of them end the episode hanging out alone together in a dark room with a bunch of alcohol” doesn’t have a lot of platonic interpretations imo

I think the reason I love writing Colin, Jamie, and Isaac so much is because they’re all absolute peak specimens of British lads born in the mid-late 90s. Like just knowing these boys grew up obsessed with shows where 50% of the content was people getting gunged means so much to me. They all had an intense Top Gear phase as pre-teens. Nando’s was the #1 spot for first dates in secondary school. Jamie used to spend all his pocket money in primary school at the Woolworths pick and mix. Isaac was his school’s reigning Bogies champion. The Raven made Colin realise he was gay.
