doesn’t really have much to say, but his body language speaks for itself. like most of piwon, his possessiveness is at a minimum, and like intak, he loves when you feel confident enough to dress this way. maybe it’s the introvert in him, but he lives vicariously through your bold outfit choices. loves to give you kisses on your exposed collarbone as he smoothens out a crease on your silk skirt. he also loves the way your stomach peeks out of your cropped top, and he holds onto your waist when kissing you to circle his thumbs on the area. stares at you lovingly the entire night, and doesn’t falter when your eyes meet every now and then. he comes up to you towards the end of the night and whispers into your ear about how he thinks you look so pretty and that he loves this outfit. you definitely end up seeing a more vocal side of him when the alcohol kicks in, and you swoon at how lovey dovey his words are. he just wants you to feel pretty and confident and he ends up succeeding in proving that to you! makes really bad attempts at flirting which ends up in the pair of you laughing your asses off. overall shota makes you feel beautiful and you make mental notes to bring him out wearing revealing clothes more often

djsjdkajdjsj i have to write my boyfriend as clingy as possible. he’s definitely the type of boyfriend to sit on the end of your bed, aimlessly scrolling on his phone and taking little peeks at you every now and then while your doing your makeup on your vanity. when you finish your makeup and go to your closet to change into the tiny little dress you’ve chosen for the evening, you’re honestly a bit nervous as to how your boyfriend will react to how bodycon and short the attire is, but you look and feel hot and that encourages you to step out in front of him. he notices your presence right away and looks up at your face, then chest, then thighs, and then turns off and tucks his phone into his back pocket and grabs at you to sit on his lap. gives you the sweetest kiss imaginable and pulls away to look at you with disbelief. asks you something along the lines of “how did i get so lucky?” and his hands run all over the material of your dress. his boldness is new but very welcome and he spends a good while complimenting you, asking you where you bought this dress, and playing with your hair with a smug grin on his face. gets soooo excited to take you out and wastes no time in calling an uber so he can show you off to the world. feels like he’s on cloud 9!

Overused Disability Tropes

Woohoo here we go. I expect this one to be a bit more controversial because I am using specific media as examples. I would really prefer if, when critiquing this post, you avoid defending specific media, and focus instead on what’s actually being said/represented about disabled communities. If you feel I’ve done a really grave injustice, you can come into my askbox/DMs/replies to talk to me about it, but I might not answer.

One more time: I am not interested in getting into a debate about whether something is a good show/movie/book/whatever. I’m not telling you it’s bad, or that you shouldn’t enjoy it! People can like whatever they want; I am only here to critique messaging. Do not yell at me about this.

Newest caveat aside, let’s get into it!

Inspiration Porn

Without a doubt, our biggest category! Term coined in 2012 by badass activist Stella Young, but the trope has been around for literal centuries. There are a few different kinds that I will talk about.

Disabled character/person is automatically noble/good because of their disability. A very early example would be A Christmas Carol’s Tiny Tim, or, arguably, Quasimodo from The Hunchback of Notre Dame. Real life examples include the Jerry Lewis MDA telethon, or children’s hospital ads that exploit sad-eyed kids with visible illness or disability.

Having a disability does not automatically make you a kind/angelic/noble person. This many not seem harmful, and may even seem positive, but in reality, it is condescending, inaccurate, and sets bizarre standards for how disabled people should behave.

This portrayal is often intended to elicit pity from abled audiences, which is also problematic.

In these portrayals, disability is not something to be proud of or identify with, only something to be suffered through.

Disabled character person does something relatively mundane and we all need to celebrate that. This is less common in writing, but happens in the real world when people do things like post pictures of disabled people at the gym captioned “What’s your excuse?”

This is condescending, and implies that anything disabled people are capable of, abled people are automatically capable of.

Makes it seem like it’s an incredible feat for a disabled person to accomplish tasks.

Uses people’s actual lives and actual disabilities as a reminder of “how good abled life is.”

The “Supercrip” stereotype is a specific kind of inspiration porn in which disabled people are shown to be capable of amazing things, “in spite of” their disability.

The Paralympics have been criticized for this, with people saying that advertisements and understandings of the Paralympics frame the athletes as inspiring not because they are talented or accomplished, but because their talents and accomplishments are seen as “so unlikely.”

Other examples include the way we discuss famous figures like Stephen Hawking, Alan Turing, or even Beethoven. Movies like The Theory of Everything and The Imitation Game frame the subjects’ diagnoses, whether actual or posited, as limitations that they had to miraculously break through in order to accomplish what they did. Discussions of Beethoven’s deafness focus on how incredible it was that he was able to overcome it and be a musician despite what is framed as a tragic acquisition of deafness.

The pity/heroism trap is a concise way of defining inspiration porn. If the media you’re creating or consuming inspires these emotions, and only these emotions, around disability, that is a representation that is centered on the feelings and perceptions of abled people. It’s reductive, it’s ableist, and it’s massively overdone.

Disabled Villains

To be clear, disabled people can and should be villains in fiction. The problem comes when disabled people are either objects of pity/saintly heroes, or villains, and there is no complexity to those representations. When there is so little disabled rep out there (less than 3.5% of characters in current media), having a disabled villain contributes to the othering of disability, as well as the idea that disability can make someone evil. There are also a few circumstances in which particular disabilities are used to represent evil, and I’ll talk about how that’s problematic.

Mentally ill villains are colossally overdone, particularly given that mentally ill people are more likely to be the victims of violence than perpetrators of it. This is true of all mental illness, including “””scary””” things like personality disorders or disorders on the schizoaffective spectrum. Mental illness is stigmatized enough without media framing mentally ill people as inherently bad or more suspectible to evil. This prejudice is known as sanism.

Explicit fictional examples of this include the Joker, or Kevin Wendell Crumb in Split.

People can also be coded as mentally ill without it being explicitly stated, and that’s also problematic and sanist. In the Marvel movie Doctor Strange and the Multiverse of Madness, Wanda’s appearance and behavior are coded as mentally ill. This is used to make her “creepy.” Horror movies do this a lot - mental illness does not render someone creepy, and should not be used as a tool in this way.

Visible disability or difference to indicate evil is another common, incredibly offensive, and way overdone trope. This is mostly commonly done through facial difference, and the examples are endless. These portrayals equate disability or disfigurement with ugliness, and that ugliness with evil. It renders the disabled villain in question an outcast, undesirable, and uses their disability or difference to dehumanize these characters and separate them from others. This is incredibly prevalent and incredibly painful for people with visible disability or facial difference.

An example of visible disability indicating evil is Darth Vader’s prosthetics and vastly changed physical appearance that happen exactly in time with his switch to the dark side. In contrast, when Luke needs a prosthetic, it is lifelike and does not visually separate him from the rest of humanity/the light.

Dr. Who’s John Lumic is another example of the “Evil Cripple” trope.

Examples of facial difference indicating evil range from just about every James Bond movie, to Scar in the Lion King, Dr. Isabel Maru in Wonder Woman, Taskmaster in Black Widow, Captain Hook in Peter Pan, and even Doofenschmirtz-2 in Phineas and Ferb the Movie. Just because some of the portrayals are silly (looking at you, Phineas and Ferb) doesn’t make the coding of facially scarred villains any less hurtful.

A slightly different, but related phenomenon I’ll include here is the idea of the disability con. This is when a character fakes a disability for personal gain. This represents disabled people as potential fakers, and advances the idea that disabled people get special privileges that abled people can and should co-opt for their own reasons.

In The Usual Suspects, criminal mastermind Verbal Clint fakes disability to avoid suspicion and take advantage of others. In Arrested Development, a lawyer fakes blindness in order to gain the sympathy and pity of the jury.

In much more complex examples such as Sharp Objects, a mother with Munchausen by proxy fakes her daughter’s illness in order to receive attention and pity. Portrayals like this make Munchausen or MBP seem more common than it is, and introduce the idea that parents may be lying or coaching their children to lie about necessary medical treatment.

Disability as Morality

Sometimes, the disabled character themselves is a moral lesson, like Auggie in Wonder. Sheerly through existing, Auggie “teaches” his classmates about kindness, the evils of bullying, and not judging a book by its cover. This also fits well under inspiration porn. This is problematic, because the disabled character is defined in terms of how they advance the other characters’ morality and depth.

In the “Disabled for a Day” trope, an otherwise abled character experiences a temporary disability, learns a moral lesson, and is restored to full ability by the end of the episode/book/movie. Once again, disability is used as a plot device, rather than a complex experience, along with more permanent disability being rejected as impossible for heroes or main characters.

Examples include an episode of M*A*S*H where Hawkeye is temporarily blinded, an episode of Law and Order: SVU where Elliott Stabler is temporarily blinded, and an episode of Criminal Minds where Agent Hotchner experiences temporary hearing loss.

Real life examples include sensitivity trainings where participants are asked to wear a blindfold, headphones, or use a wheelchair for a given amount of time. This does not impart the lived experience of disability. It should not be used as a teaching tool.

Disabled people as inherently pure. This is related to inspiration porn and disabled people as noble, but is different in that it is usually appears in combination with developmental, cognitive, or intellectual disabilities. These characters are framed as sweet, “simple,” and a reminder to other characters to be cheerful, happy, or grateful.

Examples include Forrest Gump, Rain Man, I Am Sam, and What’s Eating Gilbert Grape.

No matter what the stereotypes of a given diagnosis are (yes, I’m thinking of the automatic cheerfulness associated with Down Syndrome), disabled people have personalities. They are capable of being sad, angry, sarcastic, irritable, annoying - any number of things beyond good/sweet/pure. It is reductive to act otherwise.

Disability as Surreal

Less common than some of the others, but still worth thinking about!

Disabled characters are framed as mystical, magical, or other than human, a condition that is either created by or indicated through their disability status. This is especially common with little people.

“Disability superpower” is when a character compensates for, or is uniquely able to have a superpower because of, their disability. Common tropes include the Blind Seer, Blind Weapon Master, Genius Cripple and Super Wheel Chair.

Examples include Pam from Supernatural, Charles Xavier from X-Men, or the grandpa in Spy Kids.

Disability as Undesirable

Last and least favorite category here. Let’s go.

Disabled people as asexual or not sexually desirable. Disabled people can be asexual, obviously. When every portrayal is asexual, that’s a big problem. It frames disabled people as sexually undesirable or implies that it is impossible for people with disabilities to have rewarding, mutually satisfying sexual relationships.

Examples include The Fault in Our Stars or Artie in Glee.

Abandoned due to disability. Hate this trope. Often equates disability with weakness. Don’t want to talk about it. It’s all right there in the title. Don’t do it.

Examples: Quasimodo in Hunchback of Notre Dame, several kittens in the Warrior Cat series, several episodes of Law and Order: SVU, Bojack Horseman, and Vikings.

Discussed in 300 and Wolf of Wall Street.

Ancient cultures and animal nature are often cited as reasoning for this trope/practice. This is not founded in fact. Many ancient civilizations, including Sparta, cared for disabled people. Many animals care for disabled young. These examples should not be used to justify modern human society.

Disabled characters are ostracized for disability. Whether they act “““normal”““ or odd, characters with visible or merely detectable disabilities are treated differently.

Examples include pretty much every piece of media I’ve said so far. This is particularly prevalent for people with visible physical disabilities or neurodivergence. Also particularly prevalent for characters with albinism.

This is not necessarily an inaccurate portrayal - disabled people face a lot of discrimination and ableism. It is, however, very, very common.

Bury your disabled. What it says on the label.

Examples: Animorphs, Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows, American Horror Story, Criminal Minds, Dr. Who, Star Trek, The Wire.

Mercy killing is a subtrope of the above but disgusting enough that it deserves its own aside. I may make a separate post about this at some point because this post is kind of exhausting and depressing me.

Examples: Me Before You, Killing Eve, Star Trek: The Next Generation, Of Mice and Men, and Million Dollar Baby.

Disability-negating superpowers imply that disability is undesirable by solving it supernaturally instead of actually portraying it, and giving their character powers instead.

Examples include (arguably) Toph from Avatar: the Last Airbender, Captain America: The First Avenger, The Legend of Korra, Dr. Strange, and Daredevil.

Overcoming disability portrays disability as a hindrance and something that can be defeated through technology and/or willpower.

Fictional examples include WALL-E, Kill Bill, The Goonies, The Dark Knight Trilogy, Heidi, The Secret Garden, The Inheritance Cycle, Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D, The Big Bang Theory, Dr. Strangelove, Sherlock, The Witcher.

Real life examples include videos of wheelchair users standing from their chair to walk down the aisle at a wedding, or d/Deaf children “hearing” for the first time through cochlear implants.

What Does This Mean for Your Writing?

First of all, congratulations for making it this far!

Now, as I have said again and again, I’m not going to tell you what to write. I’ll ask some questions to hopefully help guide your process.

What tropes might you be playing into when writing disabled characters? Why do you find these tropes compelling, or worth writing about? How prevalent are these tropes? How harmful are they? What messages do they send to actual disabled people?

Just because they are common tropes does not mean they are universally awful. Cool fantasy or futuristic workarounds are not necessarily bad rep. Showing the ugly realities of ableism is not necessarily bad rep. It’s just a very, very common representation of disability, and it’s worth thinking about why it’s so common, and why you’re writing it.

summary: you and Niko became friends quickly when your group got big, and therefore, you collabed with the beta squad. they liked your energy and your friends' energy, and let's say, it wasn't hard for the friendship to form. You and Niko were practically hanging out everyday, and you've always seen him as your friend. That was until fans began shipping you with him, and those thoughts were enough to make you open your eyes and realize he was more than that.

A/N: my first smut ever with one of the beta squad 🤭 IM REALLY WORRIED AS THIS IS REALLY DETAILED. so read at your own risk ! (i have never cringed so much while writing smut)

You laugh as you make your way out of the house, "Alright, I think we should definitely go go Nando's for today." You nudge Niko's arms as you walk to his car.

He runs around to open the door for you and you chuckle, it always made you feel that you had a really good friend.

"I can open the door for myself." You narrow your eyes at him.

"I simply know and i simply don't care. If I want to open the door for you, then I'll do it." He shrugs, pointing towards your seat.

You comply and slide in smoothly, and he closes the door, running around to sit in the driver's seat.

"I was thinking of going somewhere else. I'm getting tired of nandos. And you're very well dressed for Nandos, you deserve a higher place than going there." Niko sighs, putting his seat belt on.

You smile at his comment, he was right. You were wearing a tight dress for the occasion, but you did it incase there were paparazzi laying around the area. You always made sure you looked presentable.

"When am I never well dressed? I'm craving for nandos. Those are your favorite. Well besides wagamama, those are your top one. So you can't be actually tired of nandos–" You ramble.

"Fine, fine. Nandos it is." He cuts you off and you grin.

You hum as you scroll through your feed, smiling when you come across the your own post that you had posted yesterday.

Your curious to look at the comments and you view all of them, reading each one by one.

Another feed appears and you look at the caption that says, "1 minute of Niko and y/n flirting (from the most recent NDL vid.) *LITERAL.*"

You lower the volume as you watch the subtitles, shifting uncomfortably in your seat.

You bite your lip in focus as you decorate the cake and Niko observes the way you were so focused on winning this. You were stood on your shared workstation, Niko and you both had to share one and both Harry Pinero and Aj were working on one. Kenny was going to be the judge.

Everyone was working individually though.

"Oh that looks horror." He says to piss you off and you push him playfully, a flirty smile on display.

"Oh, you so like it. You just won't admit it. I bet you're jealous aswell." You bat your eyes at him and for a second you catch Niko biting his lip while looking at yours.

"Whatever that makes you feel better, schmuck." He says as his lips ghost over your ears.

You push him at his closeness, "You're a creep."

"Did you eat some of the butter cream from mine?" Niko questions and you shake your head.

"No I didn't." You send a side glance at Niko.

"The white cream on the corner of your mouth says otherwise." He says in a low hushed tone.

you're about to wipe it off with your thumb and that's when he takes your hand and places it down, slowly and gently taking it off himself. His thumb lingers on your bottom lip for too long, in which you didn't notice.

He licks the leftover cream from his thumb, making sure you were looking the entire time. The eye contact was far from innocent, Niko's eyes are hooded and yours are just looking up at him 'innocently'.

"What a gentleman." You mock in his face.

"Always at your service." He says in a low, hushed tone.

"Stop flirting, there's like 10 minutes left." Aj interrupts, sighing deeply in annoyance at how the both of them seemed to have some tension going on, but you being clueless, you didn't mean it as flirting at all.

"Me? Flirting with that thing? Yeah, no. Nice try Aje, but you are trying to set me up." You jokingly say but Niko forces a grin, although it did hurt him.

"Crazy, crazy." Niko mutters under his breath as he shakes his head, the forced grin still on display.

"Gal already broke his heart for they started a ting." Harry remarks and Aj laughs, slapping Harry's arm.

You pout sarcastically and go behind Niko, even though you couldn't see as he's way taller than you, but you poke your head to the side. "I'll make it up to you. Let me help you with this horror. You aren't seriously serving this to Kenny looking like this, are you?" You scold him half–heartedly and he stays silent.

He looked nervous as your body was pushed against his back, but you in your mind, it was nothing more than he thought.

"I don't think this is allowed. George– is this allowed?" Aj argues.

"Yes it is allowed." George says calmly behind the camera.

You send a teasing smile to Aj, turning around and adding your own buttercream to his to cover the mess that he had made.

"You're ruining it–" Niko argues just to piss you off, but you cut him off sharply.

"Shut up. It has never looked better." You bite your lip in concentration, Niko's eyes only fixed on you.

You started scraping the edges to make it look smoother, and tried to make it neat aswell.

"Done." You smile. Before Niko could thank you, the time was already up.

Kenny had tasted all of the cakes except yours, it was time for his judgment.

You were nervous, the fans always rooted for you to win each time you appeared on the NDL channel. It felt like your responsibility, even if it was just a video.

Niko must've noticed it, so he leans towards your ears to whisper, "Don't worry, you're definitely winning. Like always." Niko nudges your shoulder softly, a wide, genuine smile on display.

"You think so?" You questioned, your eyes still fixed on Kenny who was currently judging your cake, pointing out that the cake might've been a little overcooked.

"I know so." He reassures you.

After Kenny had judged every cake, he was now taking the decision, "Alright. I was hesitant on two cakes, but I finally made my decision."

You lean a little closer, and Niko leans towards Kenny aswell. You thought it was because he wanted to hear his name, but secretly he jad wanted for you to win.

"The winner is.... y/n!" You smiled so wide when you heard your name, Niko's smile might've been even wider.

"What the hell is he smiling about? He just lost." Aj remarks loudly.

"They're in love. He wanted her to win. It's so clear, man." Harry says defeatedly, disappointed that he didn't win although his cake looked like it was made out of a horror movie.

"Now that is just not true." You squint your eyes at Harry.

"Told you." His lips ghosts over your ears and you move away, giggling as this spot was ticklish.

And the video was now finished. It began replaying from the beginning.

When you went to the comments, they were just fixated on the both of you. They shipped you, and even pointed out the obvious. The obvious that you thought wasn't even there.

You could feel your mouth go dry. Everyone thought that both you and Niko had common feelings for one another. You always viewed Niko as you friend, nothing more.

You look over at Niko who was focused on his driving, your eyes slowly trailing down to his hands that were tightly holding the wheel and the other holding the stick.

You wondered what his large hands could do– what the fuck. You shouldn't be thinking of him like that. He was your friend. But those hands...

You let out a shaky sigh and shift uncomfortably at the feelings starting to appear out of nowhere. This made you really uncomfortable.

"Something wrong?" His voice was hushed as he asks you, and it almost drove you crazy. How have you never noticed how raspy his voice was?

What the hell was going on?

"No, everything's fine."

He puts a hand over your thighs, and you knew to him, that didn't mean anything, "You sure?" He looks over at you for a second and his eyebrows are furrowed deeply in worry.

Your eyes shift from his face to the hand that was on your thigh, your filthy brain began to make up scenarios. His hands were veiny, large, and overall could get the job.

Your body was already getting hot and weak at one touch on your thigh, you knew you were damned as soon as this man gets on top of you.

You hum in response, not wanting to talk. Otherwise you knew a voice crack would occur.

You could feel your eyelids getting heavier and you shake your head to get out of the trance that you were in.

"Alright we're here." You let out a sigh that you didn't know you were holding. You knew you were thankful as now you were going to be in an open place surrounded by people.

You get out the car, not waiting for another second for him to open it for you.

"What'd I say about you opening your own–"

"Yeah shut up. I'm really hungry and I can't waste a second." You come up with an excuse.

"Crazy. You're always eating real good–" Niko teases and began laughing at your failed attempt of hitting him.

"Oh look– a seat by the window!" He points and you both start running for it.

you make your way first which makes him roll his eyes, "I definitely made you win."

"You always say that. You're a liar." You send a smile towards him.

"Good evening, my name is Arthur, I'll be your waiter for the evening. Any starters? Or we'll get right through with–" He says welcomingly, his eyes only on you.

"Yeah, no starters." Niko says a little too aggressive, like he wanted for the waiter to be aware that he was there.

He nods, but Arthur was too lost in looking at your eyes, "Alright. Do you need time to think about–"

"No." Niko cuts him off sharply.

You send a glare at Niko which only makes him rolls his eyes, "Sorry, he's just in a terrible mood. You know, his girlfriend just broke up with him." You say a bit tad dramatically, sending another glare to give an indication to Niko that he should stop doing whatever he was doing.

You place your head over your hand, "Anyway, we'll get our usual, the Full Platter. Right Niko? Or do you want anything else?" You say, a little worried on why he was acting out.

He nods, not daring to say another word.

"Been there. But there will always be a better replacement." The waiter says as he doesn't look away from you. You could feel your cheeks turning red, a small flirty smile displayed on your face.

Niko swallows and looks down at his hands, not liking where this was going.

"So, any drinks? Or sides?"

"Coke zero. And you?" You raise your eyebrows at Niko who sat opposed you.

"I'll have the same thing." He mumbles.

"Alright. Full Platter and two coke zeros. Coming up in 15 minutes." He smiles politely before going back inside.

Niko sunk in his seat and began fidgeting with his hands, "You didn't have to lie. I never had a girlfriend to begin with." Niko mumbles right after the waiter left.

"Well, I'm not letting anyone take a bad image on you. You're a great person. So stop whatever that is that you're doing." You eye him suspiciously.

The two of you had finally finished eating the main in dead silence, which wasn't really common as the both of you always spoke. "Alright. I'll go to the toilet and I'll be back in just a second so we could leave." You felt the need to say so you could break of the awkward silence.

You go up to the sink, placing your bag on a place specialized for bags. You grabbed a tissue, wiping your lips as it had some grease left from the food, and your lipstick was slightly messed up. You smile as you realize you had the entire toilet for yourself as no one was there.

You hum as you wash your hands, and that's when the deep thoughts began to form. Why the hell was Niko acting like that? Why wasn't he speaking to you the entire time you ate? It was confusing, but you just stayed silent for him as he didn't seem to want that option.

You hear someone enter and lock the door lock which interrupts your deep thoughts. You were about to turn around, a little scared on why someone would lock it, but that's when you hear a familiar voice.

"I didn't like how that waiter was flirting with you." Niko states as he makes his way to the sink, washing his hands. You flinch since it was unexpected that Niko would come aswell.

"You scared me."

You furrow your eyebrows once you repeat the words he had said, "It's time I quit being a loner and have someone for my own. Isn't that great?" You smile widely, as you reapply your lipstick.

"You're not hearing me. I don't like him." He emphasizes, taking tissues and drying his hands.

"And I. don't. care. I didn't ask for your opinion Niko. That's what you've been doing my entire life. Is that you drive every man I meet away from me. You have no control over me."

"Why not?" His question was followed by an angry tone. What was going on? Niko never acted out. He seemed pissed.

"Well I don't know mister, maybe because we're just friends!" You say, and you knew it was far from the truth. It was as if you were trying to convince yourself.

What the hell were you and Niko?

He stayed silent for a few, just looking you up and down, which made you shift uncomfortably.

He finally spoke, "We are far from friends. And we both know that." His voice dropped down a few octaves and you could feel your breath being caught by it.

You chuckle nervously, "What are you talking about?" You furrow your eyebrows as you look at him from the mirror of the bathroom.

His eyes scan your entire body and he goes up to you, both arms extending to the bathroom sink. Your eyes are wide and his are hooded, "I see the way you look at me. And i know that you're aware of how i look at you."

He had you trapped and his body was too close.

"Um– what? I– no that– Niko–" Words spilled from your mouth when you weren't aware of what you even wanted to say.

Your chest was moving rapidly from your deep breaths, "Niko?" You turn around, Niko still having both of his arms locking you on both sides.

Ah, now you had gotten the message.

"Are you jealous?" You squinted your eyes at him, the bottom of your stomach twisted with something similar to excitement and mostly, you felt nervous now that you had said it out loud.

"What if I am?" He replied almost too boldly, his eyes hooded. You swallowed, your eyes widening.

He was waiting for you to make the next move. Your eyes shifted from his own eyes to his lips. He did the same, and he dampened his lips and pursues them against each other.

You just wanted one taste. That's all. It won't ruin the friendship, would it?

Both your hands reach to cup his face, bringing his lips to yours. It was one long peck and you disconnected right away. But it didn't seem enough. One taste wasn't enough.

You enjoyed it, you craved it even though it had lasted for 5 seconds. And so did he. His eyes are wide and so was yours and the both of you just knew it.

Youn both needed each other, so fucking bad.

He pushed you up against the wall with some force, letting his hand slip up the bottom of your dress and grab onto your ass with a hard squeeze.

The chill from his cold hands prickled through your entire body, eliciting a breathy moan from your lips. Then his hands slipped upwards, roaming over your hips and waist before climbing up the stretch of bare skin at your back.

You never thought Nikolas Omilana would be craving you. The way his eyes were trying to memorize each part of your curve, it made him look like a hungry man, waiting to feed on its prey. And that made your spine shiver.

You felt the delicate work of his fingers undoing the knot at the back of your neck which fastened your dress. Once it was undone, he helped guide the dress to the floor, letting the smooth satin fabric skim over your skin on the way down.

Then all you were left standing in was a pair of red lacy underwear, and your stilettos, in exactly the same shade of red.

His hands slipped over your body once more, but this time there was no barrier between his skin and yours. His velvety touch travelled over over hips and stomach, before reaching your breasts and stopping momentarily to give them a hungry squeeze.

"y/n," He breathed, surprised, eyes still fixed on your body. "This feels so wrong." He remarks, although he knew damn well he was waiting for this moment, for too long.

Your answer was only a giggle, as you pulled him back into your body, and connected both of your lips in a passionate kiss. Your breasts pushed firmly against his bare chest, and his hands had now slipped into your hair, using his fingers as a vice to keep your head close and your lips intertwined with his.

"It does feel wrong," You pause for a second.

";but thats what makes it feel so right." You say against his lips. He whines at your sentence.

With a quick burst of strength, you flipped your positions so Niko was the one pushed up against the wall. A short grunt fell through his lips as his back slammed into the drywall.

You pulled back from the kiss grinning, finally getting a proper look at his face for the first time. You couldn't help but chuckle as you noticed the smears of red lipstick all over his mouth. His chest is moving rapidly and his mouth is slightly opened in awe, studying every part of your features.

"You've got red lipstick all over your face." You giggled, using your fingers to wipe some of it away.

"Mmm." He mumbled, seizing hold of your waist, and looking deep into your eyes. "You wanna get it all over somewhere else?" He says as he lazily kisses your earlobe, biting it playfully. You instinctively lean backwards, he must've know that you were sensitive in that particular place.

Biting into your lip while his words repeated in your head, You let your hand trail up the inseam of his pants, until you finally reached his crotch. His erection was pushed up against the fabric, hardening even more as your hand skimmed over it. "Mmm hmm." You hummed. "I do."

He hums, pleased at your hand placements. "Perfect." He whispered.

"You locked the door, right?"

He nods eagerly in response.

Then with no warning he scooped you up, wrapping your legs around his waist and carrying you towards the sink.

As soon as you were on the sink, you kicked your heels over the edge and Niko stripped off his pants, leaving him only in boxers, which were now stretched considerably by his stiffened length. He kept his eyes trained on you, and you kept your eyes fixed below his waist. It was hard not to look at it.

As he drew closer to your body, his height made him have an advantage, and you felt weak just by looking up at him the more you knelt down for him. Your eyes met in one of the most intense gazes you'd ever experienced, and you could've sworn you saw his pupils expand, growing into huge black holes.

You swirled your tongue around his tip, keeping your eyes fixed on his. As your tongue circled him, he sputtered out a desperate moan, tilting his head back in pleasure. Mid-moan you pulled away again, letting your dampened lips twitch into a small grin.

"Say please." You demand.

He ground his teeth together, locking his eyes onto you. You flicked your tongue over your lips. He groaned inwardly.

"P-Please." He stuttered politely, his eyes almost closed and desperate.

A satisfied smirk took residence on your lips, but it only lasted a second. Then your head dipped forward, and you took him into your mouth. You felt his grip on your hair pull tighter as you pushed him deep inside of you, allowing him to brush the back of your throat. Then with each inward motion, you took him in a little further, letting him moan a little louder.

Your motions got quicker and wetter, and you found yourself enjoying the growing tension on youe scalp from where Niko was tugging your hair.

He must've noticed, because his eyes were filled with worry for a second, "I'm sorry if im hurting you–"

You shake your head and send him a lustful look to indicate that you were enjoying every moment of this.

But what you enjoyed most of all was the sounds that fell through his lips. God, they made you tingle. Each one loud and desperate. A gorgeous little product of his pleasure.

"y/n, oh God. Oh my– oh." He blurted through a moan, as you finally managed to take a good amount of his length. "You're so good. So, so good. Oh, God."

You look up at him to find him trying to hold the noises, which made you tut in disapproval. Your tut made a vibration against his tip, which makes him let out the moan he desperately tried to hold.

You rub his sensitive inner thigh, "Make more noises for me, baby. Don't hold back, let them out for me." You reassure him.

Your tone with your delicate touch made him whimper, and slowly he releases his bottom lip and began comfortably moaning as loud as possible, just for you.

"Mmmmm, y/n," He says as he grunts, feeling his entire body heating up at the pleasure building inside his lower belly.

Now he was just sputtering words that made no sense, which brought great pleasure to you. He was so lost for words at your work.

"Oh, oh. God, oh God. y/n, I'm so close."

You only managed to go all the way down once more before he released a deep grunt and pulled your head back.

"I wanna finish with you." He says through a breath of moans, tilting your chin upwards so your eyes connected.

Then before you had time to move, he somehow managed to grab you and flip you over, so you were bent over the sink, you could watch every movement Niko made from the mirror.

Then you felt his fingers curl into the waistband of your underwear and slowly tug them downwards. A second later you felt the tip of his dick sliding through the dampness in between your legs, teasing you gently. You dug your teeth into your lower lip to stifle a moan.

He looks at you to get his approval, and once you nodded, in one swift movement he pushed inside of you, causing a sharp burst of pleasure to ripple below your stomach. You couldn't stifle the moan, it came out loud and needy. And there was many more to follow, as each slam of his hips sent a jolt of overwhelming pleasure to course through your body.

His fingers pressed deep into the skin on your hips, helping pull you into him as he thrust hard inside of you, making each movement into a pleasure filled collision. And with each one, you felt yourself edging a little closer to your finish. You didn't know how he did it, but somehow, he hit the perfect spot every single time. You dragged your thumb slowly down his lower lip, staring right into his brown lustrous eyes.

You make sure to put in effort to help him finish as you moved all the way from his tip to his base. His grip on your waist grew firmer, and his moans grew more frequent. You couldn't help but admire the way his face twitched with pleasure whenever you pushed your hips up. It was like his body couldn't find a way to cope with the feeling that was coursing through him. And you took great satisfaction in that.

With every motion your thighs began to burn more intensely, but you relished in the pain, knowing he was drawing closer to finishing. You could see it in his face. In the way he bit into his lip so hard you thought he might draw blood. Then finally, you heard a deep grunt push through his lips.

Your hips slowed into nothing, and his grip on you loosened. His chest heaved with deep and frantic breaths, and his brow prickled with beads of sweat. For quite a while, the only sound in the room was the rasps of his breaths.

He couldn't even talk.

He had stopped infront of your house, getting outside the car with you to make sure you went inside safely.

"Before you go, I have one question." He was nervous, shifting from side to side.

You smile so widely. You had waited for him to ask this question the entire ride home. "What is it, Omilana?"

"Can i be your boyfriend?" His voice cracks slightly as he spoke.

You squint your eyes, like you were in deep thought. "No, bye." You shrug and turn around, which makes his heart sink for a second.

You began laughing, "Of course, dumbass. C'mere." You whisper the last words and pull him to an unexpected kiss.

His eyes widen and closes immediately, enjoying the way his soft lips were pressed against yours. This kiss wasn't filled with any lust, but filled with innocence.

You felt him smile in the kiss, which caused your lips to twitch into a wide smile aswell.

"You're an idiot, do you know that?" He says against your lips.

You give him a few pecks before you responded, "And you're even more idiotic."

"I think that shows how we're fit for each other." He says in-between kissing. You giggle against his lips, about to say something that was on your mind.

He must've known it, because he was the first one to speak, "Shut up and let me kiss you."

You couldn't stop smiling, he was everything you've been looking for.

Lucy and I had the shared experience of playing in an American university. The only difference was that UC Berkeley was my home for my time there.

One of the things that I did during my four years at Cal that made them special and even was something that people loved learning about me was that I was also a part of a dance group whilst playing football. When I was in America, I found that dance was a good way to maintain my cardio and it was a fun way to keep my mind off of football for a bit. I used to do ballet as a kid and did some hip-hop dancing as I grew older so it was not something too out of the ordinary.

Even though football was my true calling, that did not stop me from dancing in the locker rooms before games, and posting little dance covers on Tik Tok during camps at the behest of Mary Earps. The only reason that the fans got wind of the fact that I’m that teammate constantly dancing was because of Lucy, who was filming one time before we played in a friendly against Germany and posting it on Instagram. She says that I didn’t pull her immediately that day but I know Lucy and I saw the way she watched me behind the phone as I danced to Work Out by J. Cole.

During the Euros, it became a thing, I guess, for the main Lionesses Instagram to post my pregame dances in the locker room. One of those I ended up teaching Miss Lucy Bronze how to slow dance which turned into a faster dance much to Lucy’s dismay. Lucy twirling me into a hold was the focal point of the video and I get why this one became a fan favorite and material for loads of couple edits of us.

The caption of said post, “@bbcstrictly @y/n is waiting for her call-up! 👀”

Of course I commented, “@y/n: @bbcstrictly ok but actually I would be down, I love love love the show 💃🙏”

Post win at the Euros, I was getting a call from the producers of Strictly Come Dancing to perform a one-time, special dance. They said that it was some kind of honoring fit for a new European champion.

I worked it out with my management that it would definitely be something that I could do after the World Cup since that was my next objective after a successful Euros run.

During the off time in the World Cup, I found myself talking to the producers as they had ideas of the performance and the choreography that would go with it. So, sometimes I would have to deny a walk with Lucy to figure out some logistics. I was met with a small but still visible pout from Lucy as she only nodded and would call up Jordan to take my place.

My attention was monopolized once we finalized what song and choreography we were aiming for and of course my new dance partner. I didn’t really know the guy but apparently he was on a reality show and all the girls were after him. The only taste of reality shows that I had was occasionally watching Love Island over Rachel and Millie’s shoulders on bus rides to games. I did not understand at all what went on but the drama was entertaining from what I saw.

“So, you’re not going to tell me the name of the song you will be dancing to?” Lucy said as she remained sitting on the hotel bed as she watched me change into something nicer than the training set I had been in all day. Eyes trained on me the whole time.

“Nope, it’s a surprise, baby. Sworn to secrecy anyways” I said as I got ready for our walk.

Lucy frowned as she started scratching her neck “well at least show me who you are going to be dancing with, like what if it’s a weirdo you know?”

I comply and give her my phone after I look up the name of the guy they had paired me up with.

“Not too bad looking right?” I tease, as I put on some dunks and ask for my phone back.

Lucy raised an eyebrow and laughed a little, “I know I can’t dance like you but ya think it’s too late to ask if I could be your dance partner?”

Now it was my turn to laugh, “don’t be jealous baby, now let’s get going there is a cafe with a chocolate pastry I wanted to try!”

I pulled her up ignoring the small pout and muttering “ ‘m not jealous” as I gave her a quick kiss on the cheek and dragged her out of the door.

After our loss at the World Cup final and a lot of tearful goodbyes to the other girls, Lucy and I made our way back to Barcelona and just took some time to decompress.

One of Lucy’s favorite things to wake up to was seeing me in the kitchen making myself breakfast, dancing in silence with my airpods in my ears without a care in the world.

This particular Saturday morning, however, she was confused because instead of a loose, messy bun, my hair was brushed and down.

Instead of one of my old, English training shirts, I was in a lilac crop top and denim shorts that showed off my legs and not my old PSG shorts.

As she got closer, the smell of her favorite perfume on me hit her nose, suddenly Lucy stood there wondering what day it was and did she fuck up and forgot some anniversary.

As I turned to go to our fridge to pull out the water pitcher, I caught sight of Lucy just standing by the kitchen island.

“Baby, you know it’s rude to stare” I tease and followed up with a quick kiss on her cheek “Good Morning, sleepy head”

Lucy remained silent for a beat before going, “Why are you all dressed up on a Saturday morning?...Did I forget something?”

She rubbed her eyes, lifting her clear glasses as she did so.

“Nope, our anniversary is still Bastille day, uh my birthday hasn’t changed and yours is still in October” I listed them off on my fingers and then continued as if I didn’t leave Lucy even more confused as I began cleaning the counter.

A pair of arms wrapped around me stopping me in my tracks as Lucy burrowed her head into my neck taking in the perfume I wore.

“Then will Miss L/N tell me where she is going dressed like this, hm?” She mumbled as she placed a chaste kiss on my neck.

“Going to get lunch with…ugh what was his name? The one I'm going to be dancing with for Strictly Dancing, baby” I say, nonchalantly, a smirk creeping at my mouth as I felt Lucy’s arms tighten around me and her mouth getting close to my ear.

Lucy did not show jealousy often but I loved it when she did. I loved teasing her but she would always dismiss it saying that she knew that I was hers so why should she worry. But the tone of her voice gave her away.

“Oh really?” She says softly in my ear before turning me around my back to the countertop now. My face remained unfazed as I nodded, even though I was loving everything about the interaction.

“Yes?” I nod over to the other counter across from me. “I made you some breakfast so ya don’t miss me too much, even cut you some fruit”.

The softness and nonchalant nature of my voice made her jaw tightened a bit.

“Want me to go with you?” she said not letting me go, still caging me in against the counter.

I thought for a moment and then shook my head “no” and simply replied.

“I’m a big girl. Don’t you worry, Lucia” My eyebrows raised slightly as Lucy pulled back.

Lucy moves her arms back to her side, “Fine, but I’m driving you”

She did end up driving me to the little brunch place and ignored my “protests” of “you don’t have to walk me to the restaurant, Luce” as she held me tightly at the waist, her hand possessively on the bare skin on my waist.

I let myself out of Lucy’s hold as I introduced myself to my dance partner. He truly was the object of every other girls dream…just not mine. He wasn’t unattractive at all. Even though Lucy came literally holding me at the waist, it didn’t stop my dance partner from subtly looking me up at down.

“Well, it’s great to meet a Euro Champion and a world cup finalist, (y/n)” he said avoiding Lucy’s glare through her sunglasses.

I stop him and laughed, “well technically two, this is Lucy Bronze, my partner, she was just dropping me off”

Lucy only extends her hand out to the guy and firmly shakes his hand and mutters out “pleasure”.

The guy only nods “well, I’ll make sure she gets home safely”.

I hide the smile on my face when I saw Lucy, still holding his hand, say bluntly.

“Oh? No, I’ll be picking her up, don’t you worry” the guy’s hand falling limp as she let’s go.

I give Lucy a hug and planned to just give her a quick kiss on the cheek but she pulled me closer to her by the waist and gave me a slow kiss on the lips,

Before I pull away, she whispered quietly in my ear, “just wanted to make sure he knows who you're coming home to”

The little brunch outing was interesting to say the least. The boy was bold given Lucy did stare him down when she picked me up like she promised. Especially as we left the restaurant but I, kindly, avoided his “subtle” advances of him trying to lead me to Lucy’s car.

What had been discussed about the dance and from what I could see is that I would be the main focal point and he would be, for lack of a better term, an accessory. I, of course, would not be telling Lucy that immediately, I was very much enjoying the attention she was giving me.

It being essentially a solo dance made it easier since I have training and I wouldn't have to rely on someone else to also learn the choreography…which allowed for me to work on a little surprise for Lucy with my extra free time.

“Baby, can you help me with something?” I yelled down the hall of our shared apartment.

Lucy came in shortly with a raised eyebrow “ yeah what’s up?”

“Remember how you said that you wanted to be my dance partner instead of what’s his face?” I say as I move some of our furniture out of the way to make space in the middle all while trying to not hit Narla in the process.

Lucy looked at me confused and with a laugh said, “I never said that…what’d you need though?”

I grab her hands and pull her to the middle of our living room “Well can you be my dance partner? You know with all the training and all I can’t really practice the choreo with him…so you want to help me?”

Lucy smiled and nodded as she pulled me closer to her and gave me a twirl “Ok, miss l/n, lead on”

My, sweet, Lucia can be a wonderful dancer when she puts time into in. She followed my direction even though the “quick movements of the dance” were something she would have to get used to but eventually after a couple of weeks. She was able to fluidly hold me and move with me.

Narla definitely got a kick out of her two moms doing something akin to the salsa in the living room. I would say Lucy, even with the groans and complaints, secretly, enjoyed it as well.

The day of filming came quickly and out of nowhere and we were filming it in the streets of Barcelona; there was just no way we would be able to fly to England and back, especially with pre-season and games starting.

I just want to give a special thank you to M&S for giving Lucy that outfit she wore during that one photoshoot we had with England, honestly, doing the Lord’s work. I had subtly asked that I would love to see her wear it again and again subtly suggested she wear it to the Strictly Dancing shoot and I just love it when she listens to me.

Luce was behind the cameras and chatted with the producers as they waited for me to come out of the dressing room ready to film.

As I was led out with my hand loosely in my dance partner’s I reveled the intensity of Lucy’s stare.

Why?

Well I had a silver, fringe dress with an open back and the dress came up to my mid thigh and matching high heels and, well the fact, my dance partner was trying ever so slightly to get closer to me as we were speaking with the director.

As we got into position, center “stage” in the streets of Barcelona, I look over to Lucy and give a quick wink to her.

“Dance the Night by Dua Lipa” started to play on the set. I began moving quickly and sensually and interacting very little with my partner. The fringe of the dress definitely did not leave much to the imagination. There were parts where his hand would find my waist but those lasted only a few seconds.

Lucy watched, not letting me escape her sight and hid her frown as she noted the times my dance partner would slow the movements of his hands once they reached my waist or when he looked me over as I danced a little ahead of him.

We did not anticipate it being a one take but it was something that I wanted as it was more real in a way. As the music faded and the host came onto the stage to interview me, I caught Lucy in the corner of my eye, and she was smiling so big and visibly more relaxed.

“(y/n), so happy you could be here and we are just so happy to celebrate you and your achievements. How does it feel?” I hold the microphone, still catching my breath

“I loved this to be honest, love the show, and dancing is just something that I enjoy other than football. Uh, it’s definitely been some time since I’ve performed at this scale but it was absolutely a treat, thank you all for inviting me” I said gesturing to the crew members.

“Well, again we are happy to be a part of this and we know that another Euro Champions is in our midst, and I know that you had a little something prepared for the both of you?” The cameras now focused on a very confused Lucy.

I laugh and continue, “Yes, Miss Bronze, she thinks she has been helping me practice for this sole performance but we were actually going to dance together as well, come on babe” I gesture for her to come onto the stage.

The interviewer walks off announcing, “and now for a special dance by the Euro Champions and World Cup Finalists choreographed by Miss (y/n) (l/n)”.

Lucy finally reached me and whispered, “You little sneak,you planned this didn’t you?”

I only wink and immediately pushed Lucy into position like we have been doing at home in our living room.

“Maybe~” The music restarted and Lucy with the biggest smile on her face did everything perfectly. There were some slips in the movement but they were replaced with laughter as Lucy held onto me tightly as the music faded.

She hugged me tightly whispering, “Im so proud of you” her hands finding their place at my hips.

I gave her a quick kiss on the lips as we both ignored the claps from the crew members.

“So…would it be wrong to ask if you can keep the dress?” I smack her slightly at the question.

I give her a knowing smile, “Dress is mine to keep, but I don’t want to keep it on for too long, Miss Lucia Bronze”

I have never seen Lucy excuse herself, thank all the crew members and wish everyone a wonderful weekend so quickly before carrying me off the set in the midst of a fit of laughter.

Let’s just say that these scenes from the recording quickly overtook the locker room dance in edits and well it was all worth the teasing from our teammates when it finally aired.

Reasons why we think the 26th bday message was from bunny laoshi. 🗒️

I know that a lot of us don’t need “reasons” to even cpn that xz made this letter, but it’s still fun to look at the clues that make the conclusion much stronger. a lot of us just knew once we read it, who the author is. as with all other candies, if you believe it, you do. if you don’t — there is no amount of evidence that will change your mind.

i’m so happy that the bday letter is back, last year was understandable (considering what was going on) so to have it this year made everyone emotional. as usual, it’s a beautiful letter. i am thankful that yibo is loved. that aside from us fans, he has someone close to him, who adores him that much to write something like that for him.

this post is only for the letter, not the bday photo/art. that will be a separate discussion.

A HISTORY,

As with most candies, context is key. We don’t usually react this much without it having some story behind it. There is almost always a pattern. The “birthday” message first popped up for Bobo’s 23rd bday. Then 24 and 26. You could say anyone can make a birthday message — but this is different. It’s way too personal and the way it’s written, to us who pay attention, is very xiao zhan. There were already CPNs for the past 2 years, so we were actually just waiting for the 26th bday letter — and boy did it not disappoint!

• They all start with saying hello to the *age* Yibo. It’s like this person wants to be the first one to greet WYB in his new year of life.

• The way it’s constructed is very similar. It starts with a recap for the year, what WYB has gained from the past and wishes for the future. I have to say that the 2020 letter was the start and then it evolved into what it is today because of the time they spent together. XZ now has more and more things to say.

• The message of growing up slowly is also there. I think XZ really wants this for him, that even if WYB had to “grow up” faster than other people his age, even if he has so many responsibilities — that he still gets to enjoy his youth. 🫶🏼

Even if you let someone else read this letter, and you tell them, “it’s from their s/o”, they will believe you. To those who look at it and think it’s an employee, i don’t even know what to say. You don’t even have to believe that it’s XZ, but it is most definitely WYB’s significant other. Look at UNIQ_OFFICIAL weibo account birthday caption, that’s what employees do.

Now onto the “reasons”. I have listed a couple and I know there might be more out there but here are the ones that made us 😭😭😭😭:

1. My absolute favorite part of the letter:

In the past year, you've gradually learned to relax while working hard and understood how to face the world with a gentler attitude. You've been willing to watch the stars while hurrying forward. You've been willing to enjoy a pouring rain happening one afternoon. You've been willing to quietly see the horizons at the other side of the sea. You've been willing to stop for a beautiful sunset.

A person who knows you will only be the one to write this. The level of understanding XZ has for WYB is just. I can’t. He really loves him. The things he decided to use : stars, pouring rain, sea and sunset is so THEM. He might as well add the moon to have the whole cpf symbol set completed. 😂😂😂

And for comparison, XZ wrote these words in his Oasis for the DC wrap-up:

There are two pictures that I really like, one is the beach outside of the Xiangshan hotel balcony, another is the scenery from the highway in the middle of the Hengdian Xianju forest where we frequently ran. It’s how freakin descriptive he is. He has a way with words that make you “feel” what he is saying or even see it.

2. This part too, about stopping. Slowing down. It’s the same thing XZ said before. Plus in a couple of XZ’s videos, you will see shots of him admiring the sunset.

Time never pauses, but you seem to know the secret of making the world stop occasionally. You use your calmness and poise to welcome and get in touch with the world. Yibo, sunsets are beautiful, just like every dusk that you missed when you focused on forging forward.

AND THE “Yibo,” OMG. I can hear XZ’s voice in my head saying it. It’s too intimate. I know it’s his name but the way it’s written here — Are we even supposed to read this? It feels too personal 😭😭😭

But my answer is always, WYB wants to show off. He wants us to feel single. I’m in a long term relationship and even I felt single 😂😂😂😂

3. “The small number has changed again” referring to his age. There might be no hidden meaning, but some cpfs interpret this as the person who wrote it is older than him. Because he considers yibo’s age as “smaller” than his. Hello to their 6-year age gap. 👋🏼

4. There is 🎂 emoji in this letter compared to previous years. We think it’s because WYB is at home and they are celebrating together, no need to send a virtual cake. There is also some talk of XZ not being photographed today (8.4) on set. I won’t go to that part of Weibo but the fact that some people are nervous that he is suddenly MIA so close to Yibo’s bday is 👀

5. WYB went online for a bit, we thought he was gonna pull the same stunt he did last year and remove the automatic weibo bday post. He didn’t. What did he look at? The love letter? 🤔

6. Someone asked where was the quote “"stay cool, grow up slowly" on Baidu and the most popular answer is it’s from a book 君生我已老. We know XZ is fond of reading. I found a synopsis, and well, interpret it as you will…..

Excuse the google translate but you get the gist. It’s synopsis is also kind of similar to his drama SUNSHINE WITH ME. The part of age gap. Meeting and falling in love then having to separate, only to meet again. So if I’m to speculate that XZ got it here and liked it, maybe that’s why he chose to film SWM even if he has lots of scripts sent his way.

7. Similar with GG, who does not look at challenges in a negative way. How he regards it as a part of life and something he has to overcome.

Just regard all the adversities as the numerous mountains you have to climb and the endless waves you have to ride.

8. I don’t have to explain it that much. They both have a thing for “living with no regrets.” It’s all over their interviews.

You, Aryan, Walker, and Leah sit in the audience at the 2025 Emmy Awards, chatting before the cameras turned on to watch the proper show begin. You and Walker sit together, with Aryan and Leah right behind you. The thick, tan, plastic chairs were going to do a number on your ass later. For a million-dollar award show you'd think they would upgrade the seat situation a little bit.

Leah and Aryan sit forward in their seats, holding a conversation with you and Walker, both turned around in yours.

"No, and like, you will not be calling me that, thank you!" You laugh and smile, "If you get your grimy hands on my legal name I will actually throw myself away. I am a man!"

"Wait, what?" Walker questions, eyebrows furrowed. "Legal name?"

"I changed my name" You clarify. "Cause like..." You look yourself up and down, hands following your gaze. "Y'know?"

Walker blinks, pushing his blonde curls away from his face. "Wait... you're trans?"

"Even I knew" Leah comments, glancing at Aryan, who nods in agreement.

"I thought it was kinda obvious." You chuckle, seeing his surprised reaction. "I had to keep correcting people about my name like, a million times"

"I never knew you had another name? I thought it was always Y/n!"

Walker smiles, his right arm slung over your shoulders as he watches you caption and post the picture you'd just taken with him on your public Snapchat story. It was titled The Boys, meant for you and all your close friends.

He was glad to see that you considered him one of your close friends, but also on such a deep level, though it was just a title to you. He saw the deeper meaning that you didn't. Like an over analyzing reader to a writer. He was happy you also considered yourself a boy, that you could happily parade that around and feel comfortable with your identity. He truly couldn't be more proud to see you happy and smiling in this moment.

You look back up at him, a cheesy smile tugging at the corners of his lips.

"What's that look for?" You ask, a little confused.

"Nothing" He replies, patting your right shoulder blade as he moves his arm around a bit. "We should definitely make a playlist and put it on your story for people to listen to" He suggests with a slight shrug.

"Walker, you look like a divorce lawyer." You comment, stuffing your hands in your purple pockets.

The blonde dramatically scoffs, a hand rested on his heart. "You're so mean to me! You're not welcome to the next boys sleepover"

"I don't wanna be a part of that dorky shit anyways"

"What are you, twelve?"

i don't want to further clutter up the notes on this post while responding to the tags below but the persistence of the "finale is short/scenes are missing/extra ad break” conspiracies drives me absolutely bananas when i've watched the finale ten times and have posted about this A LOT trying to clear things up. (disclaimer that yes, i'm a goddamn destiel shipper but i care about Facts above all.)

ok but this is weird because i'd swear the episode was shorter (11 missing scenes!) but okay. maybe we all mandela effected ourselves into #beleving that. because it felt shorter. but i will die on the hill that it had another ad break. i understand this person has the thing #recorded with ads so i am thinking maybe different ad breaks in different idk time zones??? #because the finale did air an hour earlier in canada so maybe idk i am reaching here but maybe different states or whatever had different #ad breaks??? as for the last minute changes - wasn't the cover band asked for permission to use their version of carry on like a week before #the thing aired??? so even if the episode was 42 minutes and had no additional ad break - which i am side eying but lets say all was normal #i will always say they were changing thing until the absolute last minute (carry on my wayward son X 2 #the crew on the bridge which is not only giant 4th wall breaking but also wow they really got all those people in one place in times of #covid???) #anyway. tinfoil hat stays on sorry guys :/ (via @officialmisha)

short and snarky: there are plenty of real and sourced examples of network homophobia and scripted/directed destiel scenes being cut to point to. we don’t need to make this stuff up just bc the finale wasn’t what we wanted. so it’s not the mandela effect — it’s ppl repeating a conspiracy/rumor bc it supports their narrative and it’s easier and more fun to repeat something that supports a narrative they already believe (misha or something destiel was cut) vs the boring act of fact checking.

longer circumspect answer with links bc like many ppl i am in my debunking era and i rewatched "roblox_oof" last night.

like i said. i've watched the finale ten times. i’ve gone over the episode with a fine toothed comb and posted a detailed breakdown of timing marks on my blog. it’s actually extremely obvious where the ad breaks are once you know roughly where to look for them (they have a longer fade to black instead of a quick cut scene change). there’s no room for extra ad breaks and i think this conspiracy/rumor persists in part bc the episode feels so sparse in terms of cast and the fact that the episode’s momentum hits a barn post (and rebar) less than 20min into an hour-long programming block.

also i’m begging ppl to actually look at that timing mark post. it’s very straightforward and i spent a lot of time on it. i don’t care if ppl plagiarize it at this point if it means this conspiracy stops. i've got almost every second accounted for.

the "eleven missing scenes" that you're thinking of are probably from the finale script of questionable authenticity that @spnscripthunt acquired back in 2021 which can be found here. it's dated as the “final draft” from 11 sep 2020 and filming on 15x20 wrapped on 10 sep 2020. as noted at the bottom of this superwiki page "[the] script came from someone claiming to have been the person who did the closed captions for the show in Russia. There are some indications that it possibly may not be authentic, but this has not been confirmed."

if we go with the possibility that this was a transcript meant for subtitles, the "omitted" scenes were probably written but never filmed since it's the "final draft" and not a color revision (blue, green, yellow, etc). unfortunately, i’ve lost track of where i read it and a preliminary duckduckgo search isn’t bringing it up bc there's a program for script writing called final draft, but iirc the “final draft” version of a script is a transcript of what was filmed (e.g. there are parts of that 15x20 script that ended up being deleted scenes on the DVD). spnscripthunt also has an example of a confirmed final draft for 09x02 (funnily enough, also a dabb-penned ep). if anyone can confirm with a source that i have the purpose of the “final draft” version designation wrong, please let me know! i love being proven wrong with Facts.

i do want to acknowledge that the two “final drafts” do look different from each other and the 15x20 one doesn't look like a “real” final draft script since it lacks the revision/versioning dates that a script would normally have on the cover page. it could be that it was intended for subtitles; there's the chance it's been re-typed to anonymize it if there was anything indicating who the "owner" was, tho that seems a wee bit cloak and dagger to me. and again: it's considered of questionable authenticity. there are some things that don't quite line up but oh dear god i don't want to get even further out into the weeds than i already am.

i won't disagree that it's weird as hell that neoni only got asked about using their cover seven days prior to the episode airing (tiktok here). my personal theory is that they were hoping to get a more expensive song (maybe a zepp song, idk) and didn't manage to secure the rights in the end. again: this is pure conjecture on my part! but i could absolutely see someone working on the show hearing neoni’s cover and liking it and then maybe they were using it as a placeholder until it got down to the wire and they had to make a call/send the ep to networks. because yes, it is baffling they played a song and then a cover of it with only a 40 second break between. (i do actually really like the neoni cover! the placement is just weird and i think it could have worked if they had the kansas version at the beginning and closed with neoni's full cover.)

as to the 4th wall break COVID stuff: robert singer talked with variety magazine about filming the last two episodes and the logistics of filming during a pandemic. whether they should have been filming during a pandemic is a separate discussion but their use of office vs set pods, strict quarantining and daily testing meant that they had zero positive tests in the month they were filming (18 aug to 10 sep). so given all that, i personally don’t think it’s totally out of pocket to have everyone standing outdoors on a bridge for maybe an hour to get a drone shot of them together. (i won’t get into incubation periods and viral load, but if everyone tested negative that day and every day for a month prior, it was a fairly low risk scene to film outdoors and for all we know everyone was masked until the last possible second. there were plenty of outdoor masked protests in 2020 that weren't superspreader events.)

and before anyone brings up “but misha was in vancouver!” i know someone who looked into it and they said no dice, nothing matched up between the backgrounds in those pics and places in vancouver. his statements about “us” going back to set over the summer were pretty generic in hindsight and “we”/"us" could be him or the spn crew generally. unfortunately i’m not able to find those tweets but the use of “we” was likely so as not to give away he wouldn’t be returning to set. (bc we were absolutely casbaited!) and bc it comes up a lot: the "onion field pic" was from when they were filming 15x17 and was not taken while filming 15x19 and 15x20.

besides, it would be ridiculous to go through the financial and logistical headaches of bringing someone into the country to film during a pandemic, only to cut their scenes in the end! honestly, the script is pretty tight when the scenes are given so much breathing room! the only thing i could see being further cut down is The Monologue and even then, i don’t think there was any intent to cut it down given it was filmed in fairly long takes.

i’ve said it many times before, but i believe the finale was fucked long before they returned to set. walker got the green light in sep 2019 and it was being marketed heavily as a “follow on” show to spn given jared’s involvement. the demo they were courting for walker has little to no overlap with the demo for destiel fans — why would they want a finale that catered to a demo they weren't interested in courting? we just went through a historic double strike that exposed so much of the rot of business interests overriding creative vision. this isn't completely unfounded conjecture.

i will not apologize for the length of this bc i wanted to be thorough, but i do want to give context that i think the reason these conspiracies and rumors grind my gears so much is because anyone can fact check all of this. the truth is out there and absolutely none of it is that hard to find. the most time consuming/difficult part of this was finding someone who had a DVR’d copy of the finale from when it aired live and they actually found me themselves after i’d been low key asking around for a year!

and like. i get it. conspiracies are fun. but there are so many sourced instances of network homophobia and destiel being cut that it's like. why is this something folks are hanging onto? the cw is notorious for having upper level meddling with finales bc there's a follow-on show they want to shuffle fans along to and spn is no exception.
