I don't know who needs to hear this, but as a creator -
I am fine with "the audience" -
downloading my fics
printing my fics
copy/pasting or screenshotting my fics
sharing your saved copy of my fics with anyone else who might want them in the unlikely but never impossible case that my fics are no longer available on ao3
making a book of my fic(s) and running your fingers across the pages while lovingly whispering my precioussss
doing these things with anything I create for fandom, such as meta, headcanons, au nonsense like 'texts from the brodinsons,' etc
I am not fine with "the audience"
doing any of the above with the purpose/intent of plagiarizing my work or passing it off as their own in any capacity
feeding my work into ai for any reason whatsoever
Save the fandom things. Preserve the fandom things. Respect the fandom things.
Enjoy the fandom things.

i never understood ppl claiming percy has never suffered the consequences of his loyalty. you're talking about percy "i know the prophecy said my friend would betray me but these are my friends they wouldn't betray me" jackson, who walked into a remote part of the forest with luke and almost died in book one. you're talking about percy "kronos told me point-blank there was a traitor but i can't imagine any of these ppl betraying me" jackson, who decided to stop looking for the traitor and moved on. you're talking about percy "nico is acting suspicious and very clearly hiding something from me but he's my friend and i trust him" jackson, who walked into nico's very obvious set up and almost got himself held hostage during the titan war. percy is so loyal that he cannot fathom betrayal until it's happening, and it has nearly killed him multiple times.

I've been researching about Ukrainian fairytales, and there is so much really ancient stuff based on hunters' rituals. Most of the animal stories, like Tale about Cat and Rooster, Koza-Dereza, and even Kolobok, are telling us about these rituals.
The main motif of these tales is the ritualistic justification of hunting as an action. People were considering it as self-defence or revenge and, therefore, not a behavior that can enrage the spirits of the forest.
For example, "Cat and Rooster" tells a story about the fox, who steals the rooster thrice, and only after that cat who saved the rooster previous two times decided to kill the fox (and her children in some variations 😀).
Funnily enough, the most popular villain in these tales is fox, known for her trickery. In early childhood, I was kinda obsessed with the image of cunning fox, "forest girlboss."

I love how on Tumblr, "media literacy" has become "Um, just because someone writes about this doesn't mean they're endorsing this. I hate all these media puritans ruining everything."
I'm sad to inform you that knowing when and whether an author is endorsing something, implying something, saying something, is also part of media literacy. Knowing when they are doing this and when they're not is part of media literacy. Assuming that no author has ever endorsed a bad thing is how you fall for proper gander. It's not media literacy to always assume that nobody ever has agreed with the morally reprehensible ideas in their work.
Sometimes, authors are endorsing something, and you need to be aware when that happens, and you also need to be aware when you're doing it as an author. All media isn't horny dubcon fanfic where you and the author know it's problematic IRL but you get off to it in the privacy of your brain. Sometimes very smart people can convince you of something that'll hurt others in the real world. Sometimes very dumb people will romanticize something without realizing they're doing it and you'll be caught up in it without realizing that you are.
Being aware of this is also media literacy. Being aware of the narrative tools used to affect your thinking is media literacy. Deciding on your own whether you agree with an author or not is media literacy. Enjoying characters doing bad things and allowing authors to create flawed or cruel characters for the sake of a story is perfectly fine, but it is not the same as being media literate. Being smug about how you never think an author has bad intentions tells me you're edgy, not that you're media literate. You can't use one rule to apply to all media. That's not how media literacy works. Sorry! Sorry! Sorry! Aheem heem. Anyway.

This is the SS Creteboom, a concrete tugboat ordered in the first world war due to steel shortages, only to have the war end before it was finished. After a not very successful service life, it was brought to Ballina in Ireland in 1937, along with one or two other vessels to be sunk as a river barrier. Only for a leak to be discovered, at which point it was quickly moved into the river to stop it sinking at the quay. It sat there for 37 years before it was moved to it's present location due to concerns about silt deposits caused by the ship affecting salon fisheries. They moved it by clearing muck and eels from the interior, putting a patch over the hole/holes, and pumping out water until it floated, before being towed and let sink again. As you can see, it's still looking good for a 104 year old ship, especially one that's been abandoned for 86 of those years! I think there's meant to be a chance she could be refloated and restored if the money and effort was there. I have seen her once before, but hadn't known what it was I was looking at.
Anyway, bringing this up because something (can't remember what) made me think of her, look her up again only to find not only is she on the Irish National Inventory Of Architectural Heritage, but she was Building of the Month in July 2017!!! (Which has more information and pictures). I just find that great!
If you're interested in learning more about these concrete ships, there's a whole website at https://thecretefleet.com. Including the last one still afloat, also in Ireland, now serving as part of a Marina in Carlingford! (Although she does not count as a building apparently)

Self fulfilling dog dad curse from the previous comic has self-fulfilled!. Threat of promised snoodie from another comic also has been fulfilled. And to tie it all up Deadpool's last visit was either this nsfw dream or just regular pestering.
and oh my god this one took forever >.< Idk if it was some sort of artblock, or I'm loosing like my fixation (oh god please no >.< I don't have a new one) but I don't actually have another comic idea and it's scary >.<
Please keep your fingers crossed I'll get over it >.<
