I know I'm complaingin about drawing furniture like every other day but genuinely. how big is a chair to a human, and how big is a table to a chair, and what is that like in perspective....

#just thinking thoughts... #at least I figured out the workflow for drawing panels with backgrounds. #completely ignore the background that I drew in the draft (since I eyeballed it instead of diligently using vanishing points) #(which. well. I don't know where I lost my ruler but clearly I should get a new one) #roughly sketch what I think the furniture placement should be #cut the characters out of the draft and stick them inside the panel where they belong #keep drawing the rest of the backgrounds around them #see with other panels I can jump straight to inking and I tried to do that with these background panels #but then I started having to go back and sketch stuff out #and I'd do and redo so manyparts of it #that I should just sketch the stuff out first #and then do it
