#I don't like this that much but I’ll redraw and color in the future

Hey hey, just something minor which I didn't want to outline publicly: In your latest piece you gave the character 'Teruko' from DRDT skin which is significantly paler than her actual skin color.

While I understand how much thought and effort goes into any given piece of artwork and don't want to demean or minimize that I also want to encourage people to be conscious about how certain elements of their art may come across to others both in the community the art is in & outside of it; in this case in particular, lightening the skin color of a character who does actually have darker skin can most certainly be hurtful to those of us who also have darker skin or at the very least it come across as very distasteful or thoughtless.

While I haven't followed you extensively prior and do not know you I most certainly don't want to assume or accuse you of doing this in any type of malicious manner and I don't earnestly believe it was done in a malicious manner ! I just wanted to send this in so that if you weren't already conscious of this issue, you now are, and have the ability to approach elements of your art like this differently in the future. ^^

I unfortunately didnt notice until someone on Tiktok said it since I was working on it along with so many other projects and only used one reference where she was under a very strong yellow light. After realizing I wanted to fix it but unfortunately my files crashed so I think I’m just going to take it down and maybe redraw it on a later date! (if I can get my files fixed I’ll post the fixed up version!!)

I deeply apologize if this mistake upset anyone, my intention wasn’t to lighten her skin and I should’ve double checked. I will use multiple references from now on and keep your words in mind. Thank you everyone for your support on my artwork too! You’re all awesome
