tdlosk fic idea incoming its uhhh long

fic where kaidou really focuses on that time in s1 where saiki apported his textbook and, thinking its dark reunion, questions his other friends from that time about that day. he realizes that nendo had something happen, and he was the one with the food that got swapped with his textbook, but nendo didn't end up with a textbook at all, he ended up with a leather belt. when he questions toritsuka, tori's hiding the truth because it was definitely saiki that did it but since tori is awful at lying eventually kaidou prys hard enough and he realizes thats where his textbook went, but neither he nor nendo ended up with tori's porno mag, so that leaves someone with a porno mag that ge hasn't questioned. he questions saiki and the others and finds out nothing.

that is until he somehow ends up talking to someone from shuensha(kuniharu's work) and figured out that kuniharu ended up with a porno mag instead of his business card and a book rolled up instead of his belt, and he ended up getting thrown out of the building. kaidou realizes that that was the belt that got sent to nendo, but theres an unknown book and business card getting thrown into the mix. detective kaidou eventually learns of a guy in a mysterious zebra-patterned cardigan with strange accessories at a coffee & dessert shop that had a business card that said "saiki kuniharu" on it. he also realizes that all of these people have a connection to his main friend group at pk, so by logical connection, kusuo probably has something to do with it, even if he didn't say so and didn't show any signs he was lying. since kusuo is one of the only people he knows that has strange accessories, he decides to visit kusuo and sees the zebra-patterned cardigan in his closet (great taste in clothes, btw) and realizes that the one with kuniharu's business card was kusuo. this makes his suspicious of why kusuo said nothing happened, and he also realizes that since toritsuka was lying as well, clearly he was in on it in some way. so the two main suspects are kusuo and reita, and after studying kusuo for a while (and, if it's a saikai fic, maybe falling for him a bit), he realizes that saiki tends to talk without his mouth moving, and nendo witnessed him set a thermometer on fire on the first day, and after more interviews, tori has been discovered to be able to see ghosts for real, but that seems to be all he can do. with the discovery of real espers, and healing from his chuunibyou in the meantime, he realizes that there have been many supernatural sightings where saiki was somehow involved. and he realizes that in volume 0 when he saw "someone with horns" teleport, it was really kusuo. after interviewing kurumi and realizing her obvious lying, he discovers that kusuo has, on multiple occasions, been kidnapped, assaulted, shaken down, and more, only for no signs of trauma to be present in saiki that he can see. he also interviews nendo, teruhashi, and hairo about new years, and they all have completely different memories of what kurumi said that embarrassed saiki and made it super awkward. and after connecting it all to april fool's day, when there was a beam from the tokyo sky tree, and a book floating midair, and a camera moving and floating midair, it all clicks into place for him.

saiki is, obviously, an ultra-powerful psychic, who can manipulate memories, read thoughts, telaport, apport objects, shoot lasers(?), control matter, summon fire, among other things. he could also be a god. probably a god.

meanwhile, since this took place over the course of 1-2 weeks, kusuo is stalking kaidou to make sure he doesn't get too close to the truth, and he knows he's getting close to it. (if its a saikai fic, they are in love your honor.)

obviously, kaidou found out the truth after saiki figures out there isn't much he can do, and he doesn't want to hurt kaidou. kaidou, now horrified of what saiki is capable of, temporarily attempts to distance himself from saiki, but realizing that saiki can definitely read minds, he knows that he's been snooping around, and he definitely knows that kaidou knows he has powers. saiki is also kind of distancing himself, knowing that kaidou "cant be friends with a person that keeps secrets"

eventually they make up and kaidou semi-joins the psikickers. the end eveeyone hugs and kisses and whatnot.

Honestly, I don't think I will ever make fun of someone's first crush even if it's the most absurd thing in the world like Scooby from Scooby-Doo or the vacuum thing from the Teletubbies, especially because I don't have the right to do it when my first crush was this dude.

Yes, it's a red rabbit puppet thing. It's from a Chilean tv show for children, and this man (or bunny) is the absolute worst example of how to be a good person you could see on tv.

Good thing about him:

-He's a good journalist

-He cares about the environment and global warming (sometimes)

Bad things about him:

-Gambling addict

-Smokes and drinks alcohol (yes, in a children's show lmao)

-Liar, scammer, would commit tax fraud if it means to have more money to gamble.

-Has a giant debt with almost everyone in this world, including his own best friends.

-Gambled his friends Christmas gifts, lost them, and then gave them horseshoes instead.

-Womanizer, has a full notebook filled with his girlfriends phone numbers. Should also mention that they were all his girlfriends at the same time.

-Sometimes he lives in the trash.

So yeah... I don't regret it tho.

Splatoon: for dummies (directed towards a very special dummy)

I just started playing like a week ago but I've been speed running shit so feel free to correct me

Content/Trigger warnings: mentions shooting

Basically there's three Splatoons

Splatoon 1 (which just got shut down for good)

Splatoon 2 (the one I play)

And Splatoon 3

You are an inkling. You can customize your looks aswell. The clothes you choose have certain powerups that offer you advantages in battle.

Splatoon is a third person shooting game, but there are many things you can do. I'll explain them here.

You can buy different weapons but they all secrete coloured ink

One, Turf wars: This is where you can play with other people. In Splatoon 2, it's two teams of four (eight people in total), who are split by ink color. Your objective is to ink the most area of the map, along with being able to kill off the other team (and they can do the same in return), however you respawn after a few moments. These rounds are usually 3 minutes long.

Salmon runs: basically child labor where an old man forces you and 0-3 other players to go out and risk your life to kill salmonoids (an enemy) so he can profit in getting some golden eggs. He also cuts your pay when you die because he's a dick. His name is Grizz. If you die, a teammate has to shoot you with ink to revive you. There's like seven bosses and they're all fucking dicks I hate them so much

Story: basically, one of the squid sisters (popular idols), named Marie sends you out to risk your life in order to save the zapfish (creatures that power Inkopolis--which is the place in which Splatoon takes place) which have been stolen by enemies known as octarians. I don't like octarians either.

You go through different levels to save the Zapfish, there are smaller enemies that are basically tentacles (Chiyo-i know you'll see this. Remind me what they're called please)

However, the enemy/boss I was reffering to is in the story and it’s called a octoseeker. It can seek out your location by you moving, shooting ink, or killing a smaller enemy. I hate them so much.

There is also an expansion in Splatoon 2 which is kinda like the story I assume, it's called Octo Expansion Pack. (I'm saving up for it)

This is Pearl. She's an inkling I believe. She's Marina's girlfriend (it ain't exactly cannon but it is, Nintendo just won't say it)

This is Frye. I know nothing about her except she's supposedly in a poly with big man and shiver

This is Shiver. Technically shiver is a woman but me and chiyo say shiver is gender itself. Yes it's my pfp

Tho no, now I kinda understand I don't like this character anymore.

You see, at the beginning I was pretty loyal to her and liked her, finding her cute great etc, but that was from my own prism of vision. In other words – I liked her because of the way I perceive her "out of character", not the way she was actually written in the games

Idk I was into romantisizing her numbness, or concentrated her whole character core around being a miserable victim girl who's living in her dreams to escape this ugly reality, being less sweet and more bitter (lol tf I wrote, anyways)

I read how @/besnella and @/ausd (don't really want to bother) wrote this character and genuinely liked it, because this image was resonating with the way I would write Yui.

So, I like this "ooc Yui which isn't canon" which is the result of other people's writing and my obsession with crystal castles bc for their songs scream YUI

I don't like her original character in the games, I'd say. Probably because it's not interesting...

In some routes tho she has some conflict inside her, she tries to deal with it, but lol the whe game is built on diaboy's conflict and the way

yui tries to solve it (as if she's his personal psychologist lmao). Like, in some routes she's fine, in some she's just dumb (Shin DF), but I still can't say I adore her personality haha, just don't like it.

As a character function – okay, as an interesting character – nah, especially when there are 13 diaboys with more dramatic characters, fucked up conflicts etc...

Anyways, I also don't understand the hype around her by the whole fandom, like yeah, okay, you like her, I just don't agree now after some routes *overrated*

I'm not so interested in yui to write the whole "analysis" why she's "poorly written" or so, I just don't like her, like she sucks, she doesn't even recalls some strong emotions (tho except for endings where she becomes insane, it's some contrast to her regular behavior 🤧)
