sometimes pro-jedi discourse is fun (because i adore the jedi) and sometimes it's just "how much longer can you try to blindly defend one person before you lose track of everything else in the argument"

#like cmon man your slippery slope is showing #I don't wanna put efforts into this because it's fucking space monks and fictional planets #i just wanna say that collective action and grassroots organization are a thing #and i know that shit is hard irl too but to 'take actions' doesn't always mean to embrace violence #and if you don't take actions in ANY way then you aren't taking actions #'peace-minded' is no excuse for procrastination #i don't blame the jedi or yoda for that matter but you defend them like they have no flaw #you keep saying 'nobody is saying we can't criticize the jedi' and then #every time somebody does (actually reasonably) you smack them down with pathos-filled arguments #im tired #delete later #anyway if you actually think one person presiding a group for centuries is a good idea #i have news for you #nobody is saying that power corrupts yoda #we're saying he's a boomer presiding over a bunch of millenials and gen z and do you see how well THAT can go?
