BUT WITHOUT HIM, MARCY DIDN'T GET THE LOVE AND SUPPORT OF A FATHER WHO TAUGHT HER HOW TO BE KIND AND LOVING.

WITHOUT HIM SHE INHERITED A WORLD THAT WAS EVENTUALLY DOOMED TO BE DESTROYED BECAUSE SHE NEVER BECAME A VAMPIRE HUNTER. ENEMIES WITH SOMEONE THAT SHE WOULD HAVE FALLEN IN LOVE WITH, MAYBE ALREADY DID.

ALL BECAUSE SIMON WASNT THERE TO GUIDE HER

My welcome home AU EXPLAINED

The "HeartStrings💕" AU

So basically short explanation, Giffany from Gravity Falls but Wally. But! Also DDLC but the cast of Welcome Home.

But the in depth explanation :

The AU itself is close to DDLC but Wally himself is more like Giffany, as in like his abilities!

But its not like the reader is IN the game no, the reader buys the game.

The plot of the AU itself is basically

Wally x Reader

Sally x Reader

Julie x Reader

Poppy, Barnaby, Frank, and Eddie are also in the game but are not romantically involved with the reader! The others will be considered as "route choices" but the book is truly just Wally x Reader.

This game is called: "Strings of their hearts". I don't know where I want to take this story yet, if I want the cast to have a good end or a bad end (as in like the ending in DDLC, where you are trapped with Monika forever till you delete her) or a "happy" ending, which I won't disclose since I already have that planned out and there is a possibility I could use it! I wouldn't want to spoil it nono! And I don't know if I want to end it at all, but I know that'd be impossible so an ending is inevitable

If you have questions please feel free to ask, as I might have not covered everything that I wanted to (curse my memory!) This is the basic covering of the AU itself.

Now onto the game!

The game will start by opening up to a screen (most of this will be described in the first chapter I will make when writing it all out) it is old and lagging but the reader persists! The game will go about the reader moving into a neighborhood and meeting all of their new friendly neighbors over the course of TWO DAYS. (Tbh I'm kinda just writing this out to remind myself the plot so I don't forget) meeting the "love interests" on the second day. You will have two months (in game) to get a date with one of the love interests!

You get to know each individual character to become friends or more (minus Poppy, Barnaby, Frank, and Eddie ofc) and that is all I can really say without spoiling the book!

The reader will be gender neutral throughout the ENTIRE story, as their gender is not needed for the book, I will try not to use pronouns at all but if I do they will be [They/Them], to try and be as inclusive as possible as I can.

This story will take place 2000-2005,[update: I changed it to be set in 2023 🤭] and the reader is an adult (this does not matter really as there will be ABSOLUTELY NO. NONE. ZERO. Nsft in this book, even if Clown changes their boundaries and opinions on it, the only reason they are an adult is because the cast are adults and this is a romance book)

I will also be making drawings for this AU, like what the reader would look like IN game, Wallys outfit and basically the entire casts outfits, it will take time ofc! But it feels nice to see a visual representation.

What is your opinion on danganronpa 2.5?

hello anon! thank you SO MUCH letting me ramble!!! :)

I really do love Danganronpa 2.5, I think it's really cool that they explain more how everyone was waken up, I also adore that the plot is based off of statements in Danganronpa 2 only elaborating and exploring them more. Not only that, but they make it all about Nagito who's the same character that is complex enough to have three entire songs haha!! So it works out well.

2.5 reverses Nagito's luck cycle which makes it easier to understand and I really love it. It also adds the statement that truly Nagito would rather have his luck not harm others but rather help them and harm himself, there's also the detail that Nagito's luck is so prominent in his life that even in a world made by his subconscious it is always there. It also implies he deep down wishes talent didn't exist which is something he'd never admit or even know he felt with his unhealthy obsession and dedication with hope and the ultimates!!!

I really enjoy world destroyer too, I think his scenes are very interesting, like, ok man thanks for pulling up with your FINGER GUNS??? It's super cool!! His design is pretty interesting too even if it's just adding to Hajime's preexisting one.

I also like the detail that alongside Nagito's own death the memories that he remembers most vividly is Hajime's smile and his time with him which is just very sweet

The moments with Makoto and Sayaka being out of character because Nagito views them, especially Makoto, so highly is super funny too. Kazuichi and Fuyuhiko's friendship is also fun and something we don't get to see often! The background characters we get to see are also just very fun.

I find it really interesting that by swapping Nagito's belief with the opposite it's basically telling what the genuine issue is in their world because his beliefs stems from the flawed ideals of hope's peak. The issue in their world isn't the talentless, it's the talented. No one is happy, talentless people feel worthless, and being talented is exhausting in its own way. All of the social pressure of not being treated as humans being at its most extreme in this world is upsetting for most everyone.

Danganronpa 2.5 has a lot of REALLY good stuff going on for it, I think the only complaint I see about it is Nagito's "contradiction," which I'll talk a little bit about!

Basically, people like to point out that with Nagito's suicide plan he should have been more upset, "He never believed in Hajime though?"

I've seen a few pretty good interpretations of it, but the one I think makes most sense is that he was talking more to Izuru kamakura since he had gotten his memories back. Nagito's old and new memories merge together, he remembers pretty much everything. Which is why he sees Izuru first, then corrects himself seeing Hajime, and Hajime replies that they're both him.

Nagito then says he knew he'd make it to the lowest stratum, and that he believed in him. Basically saying that Izuru could do anything.

Maybe he believed the supposedly Bad luck from going into the Neo World Program would end up in Good luck? It's unclear a bit, but I definitely believe he's talking to Izuru a bit at the very least. Mostly because if he believed in Hajime in the killing game his luck cycle wouldn't have gone, good luck: the traitor was selected, bad luck: the plan didn't work and they lived.

Nagito has known Hajime and Izuru now and accepts him for who he is. It's honestly really sweet. Hajime himself has grown and accepts Nagito for who he is as well. They both forgive each other and it's just really sweet. They've been through a lot!

Overall little rambles aside, I think Danganronpa 2.5 is really lovely. It adds more to Nagito's character, tells more information about how the class woke up while using actual text from Danganronpa 2, and is just super fun! I love Danganronpa 2.5 a lot.

Starscream never thought he’d fall in love, and with a predacon either, but life happens in mysterious ways. He seemed to rather enjoy your company, either complete silence or the very rare times you two were close. Just close enough to be alarming to other cons, but just not close enough for your liking. Any chance you got you’d either hold his hand, wrap your arms around him or just pull him into you. You may have been a female predacon but you were still larger than most cons. 

The only downside with being a predcon, was how touched and starved you were. You didn’t want people to touch you first, you wanted to initiate the touching. Being locked away for too long was starting to weigh on you. Almost rusty plating and the loss of heat, so when you first touched the seeker, you were awestruck. You optics practically stars, he was different, smaller than any con or bot you’ve seen. His movements were fluid but sometimes jagged, his plating was sharp but more fluid and streamlined, it felt different and you liked different. 

The first time you tried to be cuddly with starscream didn’t last long. He promised you that if you got whatever the hell he was talking about he would supply you with cuddles, and boy oh boy were you excited, it took you little time to get the thing and return to him with it, you wasted no time grabbing him by his chassis as you backed into a dark corner with him in your lap. The contrast between his small size and your large one was just too good. You were practically purring as you cuddled the small mech. 

“Okay, your time is up,” 

His servos prying at your arms in an attempt to get loose, but your grip not faltering at all. It had only been a minute and you had already fallen asleep, starscream acting as your personal teddy bear. He may have acted like he wasn’t enjoying it but he knew it felt good to be held like this. Always trying scheming to overthrow megatron does something to someone, and for him it was the lack of friendliness towards him, other cons ignoring or being rude to him, but you were different almost like a lost cat, loyal and only friendly towards him and other predacons, but he’d seen the wait you acted with them as well. Your cold and harsh predacon demeanor changed around him, servos moving slowly and caring towards him, and the occasional pet name and long touches, touches you wished he’d take farther. 

You weren’t one to ever turn down his touches, either being a servo on your arm or in extremely rare instances where he’d lean into you, he was shy, didn’t know how to initiate contact first. But this helped you both establish trust, trust that he wasn’t going to use you, hurt you, and trust that you weren’t going to kill him or turn him over to megatron. The trades slowly started to fade, no more if you do ‘xyz’ ill give you ‘abc’, it was comfortable, you could lean on him when he was doing things, you could pull him into when no one was looking, and better yet, you could freely kiss his face plating at times.

Servos cupping helm as you hunch over and leaned him up to you, the feeling of your lips on the smooth metal being a comfort feeling, when  the other predacon were being reckless and rude, kiss Starscream, when you feel lonely, kiss Starscream, when you simply felt like it, kiss Starscream. You could do it when you wanted, call him sweet spark in private, he's melting into your touch by the time you finish speaking. Call him “Lord Starscream” as a nickname, he’s melting, complementing his newest evil plan, he's all yours. It took nothing just simple words and he was all of a sudden feeling affectionate. Now do it in front of anyone else, he will act like it doesn’t affect him. A stern face and somewhat harsh words, you never take offense too. You still did it anyway. Pet Names, complements, longing touches, anything. The only thing you didn’t do in front of others were kisses. 

Your servo was placed on his arm, you were both looking at the data pad in front of you, watching as new information came up and Megatorn spoke about it and the next plans to mess with the autobots. 

“(Y/N), go find Predaking and the others.” 

You looked towards Megatron, a simple nod before turning back to the data pad. You started to move towards the exit, your servo still on the side of starscream's arm until you could no longer reach. He looked over his shoulder when your touch had finally left, a sad look in his optics, but you smiled sweetly before disappearing into the hallway. 

Touches like those were both of your least favorites, the warmth from you leaving him the moment Megatron asks for something, or the comfort of him leaving the moment someone calls. You two still found ways to enjoy each other, no matter if it was longing looks to lingering touches, or sloppy kisses and late night cuddling. He knew you were always nearby, and always wanting some sort of touch and affection.
