Uni never fails to remind me of the privilege a lot of people have. Like the way my professors are making me choose b/w my part time job that helps me pay for my uni and the assignments and practicals that will help me eventually graduate from the uni that im paying for. The way so many here just come to chill, have some chai, & leave whenever not having to worry about their transportation money or post-uni work. I hate them & envy them & and wish to be in their position.

I'm obsessed with That Scene(tm) between Katya and Andrei in the California Director's Cut Rerelease of Goncharov, so I did a lighting study inspired by the film's Art Deco Posters! Little details like Katya never referring to her husband by his first name really add to Andrey and Katya's tense dynamic, which is one of the most underrated parts of the movie imo.

I envy everyone that can create. Everyone that can make. Everyone that has a world that they can escape to. Artists can make something that can make you, cry. laugh or frown. But i, cant. I envy writers who can create worlds, Gods to the characters that they write.

I envy musicians that can play notes and send you into a sweet lullaby. make songs that can tug at your emotions. but then i realize… With all this wishing to be someone else i realize i already am myself.

Even if i cant write a full story, even if i didn't paint a masterpiece, even if i cannot play an instrument… I still can be myself, … With all the envy i have been collecting i never realized that i could do something too. With this poem i write to show all of you. i realize. I realize, i dont have to be someone else to create. we all can create worlds for our own. we all can create portals to a place. we all can make songs or even a tune

We all can make. its no use to sit there being all jealous… The first try always wont be perfect. But thats fine. Go out there and try, because that is why… I envy everyone that can create
