LOUD SOBS WAS THE FIRST THING MILES HEARD

when he opened the door to his girlfriend’s apartment, with his spare key. he blinked one time, frozen because a thousand thoughts ran through his head before he sprang into action. running as fast as his lanky legs could take him before he stopped in her doorway, to catch his breath.. he was in shape.. but he just full blown sprint to her.. it was a lot out of him.

his brown eyes looked into her room, looking for any sign of danger, but all he saw was her, hunched over her desk crying in front of a ‘ incorrect password’ screen.. miles pushed himself off her door frame, as he had caught his breath already, “ hey, princess-“ he cringed as that left his mouth, the two had only recently started dating and he was trying to test out new nicknames.

“ uh.. [name] what happened..” he zipped up his jacket, concealing his spiderman suit from [name], as she turned around; eyes puffy with tears. “ I got hacked.” the poor girl’s voice barely above a whisper, bottom lip poking out in a pout. “ hacked like.. all your information is gone?” his eyes widened, “ don’t worry, honey-“ he cringed again, “ don’t worry.. [name] i promise I’ll try and find who did this.” he turned to leave, but the shaking of her head stopped him.

“ no.. on roblox.” the mention of the website where she lost everything made her break down in tears again, it confused miles at first, but then he remembered he never spent any money on the game; his girlfriend on the other hand did.. he only played with [name], but she played a good portion of her free time, she loved it.

“ oh.. [name].. my love, I’m sorry..” he walked over to her and wrapped his arms around her body; pulling her into his chest. her face was hidden there, his jacket wet with her tears, “ i can.. always ask my dad for a couple extra bucks.. so we can get you started on a new account.” he offered, the start of having to start over made her start sobbing again. “ I don’t wanna start over.. I was level five hundred in royal high! my house on bloxburg was perfect! i want you to use your spiderman connections and get my account back!” she demanded, her eyebrows furrowed. he sighed, and patted her back. “ you know I can’t do that..”

“ then ask ganke!” her voice came out louder than she intended it to, miles took zero offense to it. he knew she was just mad, distraught that her roblox account had gotten hacked and stolen right under her fingers. he knew she was very safe when it came to her information, and her password wasn’t easy to guess either. “ I’ll text him, okay?” his voice calm, in an attempt to make her tears at least come to a temporary stop.

they didn’t, she was still sobbing her eyes out. so miles tried something else, shutting her computer. he figured that [name] staring at the screen would drive her mad, and make her more upset. he sat down on her bed, and held his arms out.. inviting her to sit in his lap.

“ I don’t want to.” was her first response, she just wanted to be mad, but miles wasn’t gonna give up so easily, he reached forward and looped his finger through one of the .. loops in her jeans pulling her closer to him, wrapping his arms around her waist. “ look.. look at what I’m doing.” his voice soft, he was trying to get her to look at him, but she didn’t at first.. not until the sound of him typing on his phone piqued her curiosity. “ see..? im texting ganke now… asking him to hack into your account and change your password to something else.. okay? if he can’t do it.. im sure I can help you get everything back to normal..” he said, he sent the message; and pulled [name] onto his lap

“ i know it’s not fair.. especially because you worked really hard on that account.. but this new one.. I’ll help you whenever I’m free. I’ll even do all the stuff for you until you get the motivation to redo everything.” the fact he realized that this loss would so unmotivating made her crack a small smile; his help and his words were enough alone though. “ huh? my girl smiling now.. ?” a giggle made it’s why out of her mouth, as he called her ‘ his girl’ “ ah? she giggling.” his hands gripped on your waist; his fingers tickling her sides, a full blown laugh leaving her mouth.

her laughter was contagious, before long miles was laughing as well, “ stop.. stop! im gonna pee!” [name] cried out, which made her boyfriend automatically stop tickling her, as well as giving her a moment to catch her breath.

“ look.. how about.. we hang out at my place for a bit?” he offered, “ get your mind off the whole roblox thing for a minute?”

[name] nodded her head, “ yeah.. that sounds nice.. thank you.”

“ anytime.. im sorry i can’t really do much.. im trying to understand the whole affect it has on you, and I think I got it now.. because I’d lose my mind if something I worked so hard for was just gone…hacking on roblox should be a crime.” his last sentence made her nod her head in pure agreement

“ right! when I find out who hacked me I’m suing for emotional distress!” her voice had cracked, gotten a little higher when she said ‘ emotional distress’ made miles smile. “ well.. until then.. we can cuddle.. and I can kiss you to make you feel better.” he said as he kicked his jordans off, and scooting back onto the bed, his girlfriend’s warm body still against his as he laid down on the pillow, letting out a soft sigh.

“ I’ll try to be okay.”

“ that’s all I’m asking.. for you to try.” he spoke softly; giving [name] a kiss on the forehead, she held her head up, looking at him. the two making eye contact for a moment before she leaned in, capturing his lips with her own.

she needed the distraction .. the love, the comfort that miles brings.. distracting her from this tragedy she was facing, and she loved him for it.

ok so I've had this in my memory for ages and i can so imagine Sweetheart having this as a tattoo on her back, like the angel wings tattoos that are the complete length of your back so and the crescent on her neck like oml like its barely visible from under her shirts and it just makes her neck look that much more delectable plus the contrast from the womb tattoo to the angel like wings is a sight to see, makes the boys go feral (especially soap once he sees it, he didn't notice before cuz he was too short lol)

She also doesn't hear him walk slowly towards her, but she does feel thick, warm fingers move some of her hair and trail down her back. She jolts, turning around abruptly. Her tense shoulders relax, seeing it's only her best friend.

She needs to be more vigilant.

"Jeez, Soap," She chuckles, "You scared me."

His eyes are wide, skin flushed with pink and breaths uneven.

"Tha mi duilich..." he mutters breathlessly. Sweetheart cocks an eyebrow. "Whatcha say?" Soap sucks in a breath and closes his eyes tightly. It's like he's telling himself something.

She feels tears coming down her cheeks, the heavy feeling in her head and warmth coursing through her veins. She remembers when her old high school friend from home told her to get this piece as a tattoo since she had trouble figuring out what to get. She was so excited, kept asking her every day what it meant or what significance it had with Sweetheart, but all she kept saying was, "You'll figure it out."

Sweetheart asked sporadically when her friend was in the hospital. Her answer was always the same.

• the m!leven kiss at the end of s3...at first i just thought mike was caught off guard about el saying she loved him too but it got weird when i realized he just looked confused as hell and didnt even atleast end up with heart eyes/a smitten smile after that moment of confusion he was legit just. standing there with a hunched back 😭 and he had the time to kiss back but he really just stood there with his eyes wide open¿¡¿¡

im ngl his eyes even look kind of dead/dull when i zoom into it instead of surprised like what is going on in his head...it looks so funny out of context cause el’s passionately into it while hes just 🧍‍♀️

• mike’s demeanor in the airport...particularly this expression after he asked will about the painting because it didnt just come off to me as mike being awkward it was 100% giving “act like i dont care” vibes 💀 and then knowing that el told mike about the painting in her letter and how she said it might be for someone will liked...

• the triple take. yeah if it was supposed to just demonstrate will pining over mike then why have mike react/notice will at all while looking like he was just caught slipping himself??

• literally this scene...i had question marks flying all over my head like what was the point of emphasizing how close mike and will suddenly were and their arms touching and having mike even GLANCE down at it its like. in fanfics when the characters become conscious that theyre invading each other’s personal space 💀 i let it slide until i remembered it recently and realized that. wait a minute...

"I swear to god, if you throw one more fucking paper ball at me, I'm gonna throw you off the astronomy tower." Sirius growled, hunched over his homework.

Finals season before Christmas was really taking a toll on all of the marauders.

Except for James, of course.

James was the kind of person who was annoyingly positive when everyone else was negative, mostly because he knew it got on people's nerves.

For whatever reason he was especially good at annoying Sirius (probably because he knew him so well, I mean, they were practically brothers).

Sirius whipped his head around when James threw yet another crumpled up piece of parchment at him. James sniggered and roll over onto his back, laughing up to the ceiling of his bunk.

"James, will you stop irritating Padfoot so he'll shut the fuck up so I can finish this essay?" Remus glared at the pair of them.

"It's not my fault that he won't leave me alone!" Sirius said, glaring right back at Remus.

"Will you two just be quiet?!" Peter shouted.

"Well, excuse me!" Sirius yelled right back. "All of a sudden it's my fault that James is the one being annoying!"

"I don't know what you three are talking about," James grinned from his bed. "I have been nothing but peaceful this entire work session."

The other three marauders shared a irritated look between each other.

The all opted to ignore James and he would get bored eventually and leave.

Unfortunately, Sirius wasn't very good at that and instantly turned around when James threw yet another paper ball.

"If you chuck one more paper ball at me, you're gonna regret it." Sirius hissed.

"Yeah, alright Pads." James chuckled and nodded.

When Sirius turned back around there was a good thirty seconds of silence before there was the soft sound of paper hitting the back of someone's head.

Remus, who was the victim of James' torment instead of Sirius, immediately stood up and walked over to James's bed. He grabbed him by the ankles and promptly tugged him off onto the floor.

James yelped as Remus wrestled him to the floor, pinning him down by sitting on him while grappling with James' arms. James was all the while laughing, finally getting the attention he wanted.

"I don't understand," James said calmly as Sirius and Peter hopped up to help, Sirius pulling up James' arms above his head and sitting on them, Peter holding down his legs. "I didn't throw anything at Sirius." He grinned.

"You're a fucking idiot, you know that?" Remus scowled. James grinned again and nodded.

"It's why you all love me." There was a collective eye-roll between the other three. "I mean what's not to love? I'm good looking, strong, smart, fu-hahaha-!"

While James had been rambling Sirius had taken the opportunity to start poking at his ribs.

"D-dude, stohop!" James giggled, unashamed.

"This is what you get for distracting us for an entire hour." Sirius smirked.

Peter sat lower on James' shins, making quick work of pinning his feet and had started scratching up and down his soles, Remus wiggling fingers across his taut stomach.

"You guhuhys su-hahaha-suck!" James squirmed wildly from side to side, throwing his head back when it got bad.

Jame arched his back and squealed when Remus found a good spot on his hips and proceeded to dig his thumbs into said spot.

"No no no no, nohohOHO!! H-hehehelp!!" James laughed, tugging at his arms but to no avail.

James bucked hard when Peter started scribbling on the tops of his feet and that soft spot under his toes, almost sending Remus off of him.

Remus glared and vibrated one hand into his belly the other digging into his hip. Sirius was non-stop scribbling and digging into his ribs and underarms, sending James into hysterics.

The room was filled with James' bright, loud laughter. His laugh became high pitched whenever he got really giggly, and it became especially loud when he got excited or happy.

"No more, no mohohore!!" James had closed his eyes, excepting his fate. "Plehehease!!"

They all slowed down, gradually bringing himself down from that high of laughter. Sirius wiped away the tears that had rolled down his cheek, Remus gave his belly a firm pat before climbing off, Peter doing the same.

They left him on the floor to calm down while they got back to their work. Once he noticed Remus had finished (who was the first to get done) and sat down on his own bed, he flopped across his legs.

"I have no pity for you," he smirked. "You got what you deserved." James groaned at his response.

"You're gonna continue to annoy people while they're working, aren't you?" Remus said after a pause.

"You bet." James grinned when Remus shook his head and eye rolled.

🌻 I adore this new (old, lol) Werewolf AU! This one just has less familial animosity than the one where Alma and Mira and the only werewolves, and on a selfish note I like escaping that sorta thing with these stories, hehe. I feel so bad for Isa and Dol, but I also love AUs like this one and Mama!Isa where the grandkids support one another even if they have to do so from their parents and Alma.

I wonder if Isa ever had a moment where she was tempted to tell Julieta that this was going on. Juli seems to care so much for her daughters that I feel like she would be an ever adoring person prepared to help anytime her kids are on the line, so I wonder if Isa was ever exasperated and thought about telling her mom? Probably "rationalized" herself out of it with something like, "Mama already has so much to deal with healing everyone so I shouldn't put this on her as well", but I feel like Isa mighta been tempted when she got overwhelmed.

I just like the idea of the kids realizing that their parents might help or care for them even if they never truly ask for help, since kids should ALWAYS feel like their parents are supportive and never worry about jealousy or anger or disgust from their parents. AUs where the parents are bitter or cruel just never stick well with me quite as much, hehe.

I'm glad you do cause I love it as well❗❗ definitely one of my face tbh. But as you may or may not know, any grandkids bonding au. <3333 BUT YEAH. A lot less of than jealousy thing. If anything, confusion, but its chill.

And oh yeah, Isabela definitely has thought about telling Julieta. Especially when she was younger, she felt so overwhelmed, and all she wanted was her mothers help. But you are right in the fact that she thought it would only add onto Jylieta's plate, so she never said anything. She was so scared too. And so many times over the years did she almost tell her :(

Anyway Julieta figured it out anyway. Like she wasn't born yesterday 😭 Bruno never noticed for obvious reasons (though he did have a cryptic vision, just never connected the dots) and Pepa likely would have noticed, but given she doesn't seem them after every goes to bed or at night after dinner, she doesn't know.

But like Isabela was in the kitchen and like. She barely slipped but enough for Julieta to notice and Isabela tried to play it off. Juleita was like "You know I know right" and Isabela kimda blue screens and has to process it. But once she does? She is SO relieved dawg. She finally has at least one person to confide in. Julieta is glad that Isabela finally told her, at least to her face. And while she does want Isabela and Dolores to tell the other family members, she doesn't pressure them into doing it immediately.

I think it's funny because, at least when in her half/partial form, Isabela is taller so she's just hunched over while Julieta comforts her.

You'll never guess the flower Isabela grows in her hair in this form (it's really obvious 💀).

very soon (when i hit the 2 week mark) i'll be able to start changing my bandages myself. WOO (((except not woo because im reasonably paranoid about my nipples falling off no matter how much i know what im doing but itll be ok))))

AND I GET TO TAKE AN ACTUAL SHOWER AGAIN WOOOOO. i got suggestions about using cling wrap (smart) but i got scared💀so ive been doing (painfully arduous) sponge baths and washing my hair in the sink.

i took off my ace bandage and vest for like an hour today to wash the vest and it was a little hard to enjoy myself while being ****scared*** about getting something dirty or putting too much strain on things. cuz after all the vest holds everything together.

also my skin the vest covered was like one of the circles of hell if there was a circle of hell for itchiness. i washed it kind of and put on aquaphor and that's felt better👍

((ik there's so many surgeons that will let u take the vest off entirely after a week, but as far as ive seen every single direction differs between surgeons lolol))

i have to sleep on my back for the next 4 weeks (pain)

nothing hurts anymore honestly😭it's pretty numb, and sore in very specific places but i've thrown away my prescription pain meds lol. i'd say there's only the issue of my arms getting EXTREMELY worn out after a while because me, being scared (this is a trend), hunches my shoulders and when doing literally anything overworks my arm muscles in order to protect my chest. (i should probably chill tf out but it's me yk)

no matter what top i wear my chest is completely flat even w the ace bandage and that is the sort of happiness i cant grasp or explain well ((((as if i can explain my emotions well at all ever))), but every human proof/account of happiness that exists in recorded history combined doesn't do justice how happy i am

Sort of lol,, gideon struggles so much with his self image and thinks he’s broken and has nothing to offer or that letting ppl get to know him is essentially a burden on him and them so he just doesn’t make friends or meaningful relationships easily and valen over here just Fails to fathom it because to him gideon’s the most solid friend he’s ever had and literally nothing like all those things he says about himself and so he always makes it a point to let him know all the things he appreciates about him

Valen on the other hand thinks he’s the most interesting and amazing person anyone has the pleasure of knowing and that he’s worth it and because he’s set that expectation for himself any criticism from others or negative emotions from himself is shoved aside in favor of the facade and while gideon agrees he’s amazing and lowkey idolizes him lol he’s the only one actually capable of giving him a reality check that he’ll listen to and seeing him as just valen

On a different note, the official ending almost gave me Caries because of how sweet that was, edging me nonetheless with that little kitchen interaction, got my hopes up for some smut… but LOVED IT REGARDLESS, also loved the beginning of the alternate ending… the ending of it GOT ME WRINKLES CAUSE I‘M OVERTHINKING EVERYTHING! For a sec I also thought maybe Gojo made the list cause he craycray and that was his desperate attempt of getting close to reader but I‘m very very glad it wasn’t, still need answers though I am so confused 😭
