ok so im gonna be talking about some aspects of the decompiled unity data i was able to get out of S4M using AssetStudioGUI! since unity games arent really meant to BE decompiled theres always a possibility that things arent preserved like they should have (at least, i assume) so bear with me here. long post below of my rambles

theres a few things that are interesting to look at but unfortunately, most of it isnt anything groundbreaking imo. its more funny things like

as the title of the item implies, its just the sun overlay for the sky, but there are a few interesting names like this! one in particular is a texture called “baby teeth”

you may recognize this texture from in game! specifically, this texture is slapped down in habit’s “secret stash”:

so ... not sure what “baby teeth” should imply here, but theres that

one of the more interesting things here for me at least is the scripts presumably associated with interacting with objects. here are a few of them!

there’s a lot of them. in fact, if i’m right on my assumption, there should be one for every interactable object, hence the prefix “interact”! additionally, there is an interact script for every character; we can pick out a few like “Pickleman” at the bottom, which we can assume is referring to Randy, the mad lad himself. Other ones to pick out from this picture are “Gardener”, likely for Trencil, and “Bouncer”, likely for Gillis. three interact scripts to note of are:

obviously, the Ronbo script is for Ronbo. the reason its notable is that i believe ronbo is the ONLY person to have a name at this point other than habit, if i didnt skip anyone. though, lulia’s interact script is called MissFame, so she could definitely have had her last name by now. then again this is all assuming that these arent just funney names(tm) made after making the characters themselves because, hey, coders gotta keep themselves entertained too!

the next one is toothboy, which, well. ill be honest. this is just here because i think that kamal is really neat. so. JDBGSJKDFGSD but it IS interesting to note that his interact script isnt something like Assistant or something??? which may indicate that his favor was decided before his role... so thats interesting

whats the most interesting to me is the script for an object called Wizard. at first i thought this might be for the fortune teller in the carnival, but i found something else instead:

note the container (i.e. the internal “directory”) of the sprites for trevor’s pictures make a call to a “folder” labeled “trevor garbo (magician)”. comparing this to, for example, jimothan’s sprites (shown below):

we can see that his associated title is “bartender”. so... trevor is some kind of wizard/magician? /j but for real, i wonder why hes referred to like that??

something else to note is that not all of these names persist for all objects! Jimothan’s lines are labeled “BartenderNoise”, which lines up with his interact script, but Questionettes’s lines are labeled “QuestionetteNoise” rather than “ForeignerNoise”, which is her respective title in the files. another example is that while trevor and jimothan have titles in their “folder” names, people like trencil do not (so the folder is just his name)! we can probably deduce that certain characters were named before others due to this, which is interesting to consider, but doesn’t exactly mean anything in the end i guess.

theres more stuff thats interesting to me in the files but ill just leave this here for yall to have fun with. i just wanted to share some of the stuff i found! :3
