Principal Weems wanted to know everything about you, and the more she found out the more she hungered for more. Never satisfied.

During your little outing you had told her you’d attended a normie school, and you wished you had attended Nevermore or a similar place instead. Part of the reason you went into teaching was to be the teacher you had needed as a teenager. Larissa’s heart breaks for you, thoughts of you surviving highschool like every teenager does on top of being an outcast in a normie society flooding her mind. In turn Larissa had divulged that her own experience at Nevermore wasn’t the best either.

Larissa now knows how you love forest walks, how you play the violin - she pretends this is new information - how you’re teaching yourself the piano, and that you had a pet frog as a child. But it had ran away the first night. She feigned sympathy earning her an affronted gasp from you. She hoped you hadn’t caught on to her staring - you had, it wasn’t hard to not notice when Larissa hadn’t taken her eyes off of you once since you had sat down with your drinks.

Unbeknownst to Larissa - the way she looked at you, so intensely and hanging onto every word you had to say, as if you were god telling her the meaning of life - made your heart swell and your head rush. Your face flushed under her gaze. With how loud your heart was beating you wouldn’t be surprised if she could hear it.

“You look like the type of person to have really bad road rage,” you comment. Taking a drink from your coffee.

Larissa scoffs at this, shaking her head, “I’ll have you know I’m a very calm driver,”

You hold her gaze for a second, “Bet you cuss out other drivers in your head,”

The Principal offered you a playful smile. A twinkle in her eyes.

“Knew it! You can just tell when someone has road rage, my uncle-”

“Excuse me,” a man’s voice cuts you off. Stealing your attention from Larissa much to her dismay.

And to add insult to injury it’s the man from the queue.

“Hello again,” you greet him with a smile.

Larissa fixes the collar of her dress before casting her gaze out the window. Feeling like a spare part.

“I wanted to give you my number, I thought we got on well is all,”

Larissa’s heart sinks and she has to force herself to not snap her head in his direction. He is very attractive, and with a kind smile. She looks over to you, looking for any indication in your body language that would suggest discomfort. She finds none.

“Oh, right…” you take the piece of paper from him, “yeah,”

“Cool, well I’ll see you around? Text me,” he gives you a wink before taking his leave.

An awkwardness falls between you and Larissa. She waits until the man has disappeared down the street before speaking.

“He’s easy on the eye,” she musters up the strength to smile.

You look up from the paper, lips pressed in a thin line, “he is, yeah… but-” you stop abruptly. Eyes a little wide as they bore into Larissa’s. She can see the conflict in your head.

“But what Miss Karnstein?” Larissa’s face is muddled with concern, as far as she was aware everything was fine. For you at least, she just had to watch her crush get hit on.

“I don’t…” your voice is low and you speak slowly, a little unsure of yourself, your eyes flit between Larissa’s, “I don’t swing that way,” you hold your breath. It felt scary every time you told someone.

‘She’s gay!’

Principal Weems can’t help contain the massive grin on her face, “not your type then?” She jokes.

You relax, and let out a faint chuckle, “far from it, only thing he had going for him was his height,”

“Into taller women then?” Larissa did a good job hiding the hopeful hint in her voice.

“I am yes, I happen to have a soft spot for tall femmes,” you can’t bring yourself to meet her eyes.

“Cute,”

“Hush you,” you roll your eyes at her, “I should text him though, let him know. I don’t want to lead him on,”

“You aren’t leading him on, but telling him would be the merciful thing to do,” Larissa knows she should feel sorry for the guy, but she’s too giddy at this latest discovery.

You had dug out an old jumper to wear, and sat on your bed burrowed into your numerous pillows and throws. Your laptop open, playing some chick flick movie. It was background noise for you as you write out lesson plans in a notebook. The evening sun was fast disappearing as stars started to dapple the sky.

The noise of your window creaking open steals your attention as a certain feline slips into your room. You unceremoniously toss your notebook aside and pull yourself from the cocoon you had made.

“Hello little lady,” you waste no time in scooping up the cat into your arms, “back again so soon,”

You clamber onto your bed again, happy as Larry with your new company. Who is purring very loudly and butting its head against your bicep.

“Affectionate little thing, aren’t you,” you muse to yourself, “hope you like ‘White Chicks’ cause that’s what we’re gonna watch tonight,” you close the current show and type in the search bar.

Larissa was more of a soppy romcom kind of woman, she wasn’t particularly keen on chick flicks. She growled lowly.

“Unless you can speak and give me a film suggestion, it’s ‘White Chicks’ ,” you look down at the cat who most certainly doesn’t look pleased at all, funny how emotive this cat could be.

You press play and lean back, scratching behind the cat's ear. Larissa was in bliss. Loving every second of being back in your arms.

Maybe twenty minutes in you grow bored and start searching for another film to watch. Larissa was sat on your lap contently purring away, her chin resting on your knee. She watched the screen as you scrolled for a while until you decided on Carol (2015).

“I’d marry Cate Blanchett in a heartbeat,”

If Larissa wasn’t currently a cat she’d have raised a very questioning brow at your comment. Were you into older women? Or did you just really like Cate Blanchett? She’d ponder on that later. Right now she just wanted to enjoy your presence.

“Blonde women are just so pretty,” you murmur.

Larissa sits up at this with an abruptness and lets out a high pitched meow. You look from the screen to her before petting her cheek.

“Glad you agree,” you giggle before pressing a kiss to the top of her head.

In that second, Larissa’s brain short circuited. Hard. She leapt off your lap and scampered out the window. She sprinted back to her office leaving you very confused. You extricate yourself from your blankets and head outside.

Larissa shot through the little side balcony door of her office and once she was through the threshold she shifted back into herself. Out of breath and red faced. This was ridiculous. Getting kissed on the head by you should not have flustered her so much that she was unable to hold her form. Larissa thanked the gods for cats agility - if she was any other animal she doubted she’d have managed to escape before proofing back into herself.

You were so tender and gentle with her as a cat, and the feeling of your lips on her forehead had her grinning and giggling like a school girl.

She recovers quickly and heads back out onto her balcony, her eyes immediately landing on your bedroom window. She spots you out on your own veranda looking around the roofs. Your eyes land on Larissa’s from afar and you give her a wave. She offers a shy one back before hastily retreating back inside.

Only once her mind had finally relaxed, and her heart had slowed did she recall the film you were about to watch (unknowingly) with her before she bailed. Larissa thanks the universe that she had left, because she most certainly wouldn’t have been able to keep her form as a cat when the sex scene played.

AN - I’m not too happy with this one but I had to get the coffee not date date over with. Anyways hope this was an okay read x also Carol (2015) is such a good movie. Highly recommend. Think I might do a Rave’N chapter :)

Shapeshifter anon here, as a pardon for bombarding you with asks I give you ‘Chronicles of a Shapeshifter’ - I hope it’s funny and you have a nice laugh ❤️

Day 1: Morell - I tried to do a live version of Ratatouille, but I don’t think he was very happy. I managed to dodge the cleaver he threw by jumping out the window and grabbing on to Pebble.

Day 2: Gallon - Brought a fish tank with me and placed it on some spare table top on the bar. I turned into a Spanish Dancer Nudibranch and kept Gallon company during his shift. 

Day 3: Nebul - I wandered through Nebul’s shop as a desert rain frog. Whenever a customer tried to grab an item I popped out from behind and squeaked at them. Purpur tried to grab me, but I just hopped around the shop, through Nebul’s legs, and then around a customer a couple times (the whole day).

Day 4: Vinnel - I participated in Vinnel’s show as a polar bear. Accidentally hit a guy with some entrails, but I think he liked it? The temporary power outage didn’t happen because SOMEONE hit a severed head into a power box ACCIDENTALLY.

Day 5: Grimbly - Was a hedgehog in the halls and tripped Grimbly ONCE (maybe more, not too much, definitely fewer that 30). I let him put a big hot pink bow on me as an apology.

Day 6: Santi - Became a bird of paradise and seduced all his potential customers. Was a hit with bird monsters. Swimming in b*tches, but I’m a player not a lover, so Santi eventually got them back.

Day 7: Frank-e - Was THE goat at Frank-e’s rave. Ate a few monster’s hair, my mouth is still tingling (it’s been 3 days). 

Day 8: Sybastian - what better way to play hide-and-seek with the minimics (mini-mimics) then to become a chameleon. Had to hide from Sybastian when he came charging to the mimic that squeaked when I caught it.  

Day 9: Belo - I turned into a great potoo and had a staring contest with him. Later became a shima enaga and sat on his head for the rest of the day. Took a mouthful of feathers (the ones closest to the root of his wing) as a keepsake/trophy. 

Day 10: Patches - During the day I walked up to Patches as (surprise) a horse. I think he actually believed I was one because he tried to lure me in with some apple slices, like I couldn’t see the reigns in his other hand. I took the apple slices and a piece of his face. He chased after me with a lasso but I ran away every time he got close. —Stitches - Stitches stole some other horse and I tagged along (as a horse) to help cause some mayhem. He attempted to do some show pony tricks on me...

Day 11: Krulu/Admin - Was a raven and played with admin when she had some time to relax. Would repeat her words and roll around. Let her carry me and dress me up, as much as I didn’t want to be put in a raven-sized Clergy uniform. 

(Bonus) Day ??: I don’t know how long I’ve been down in this basement, the days have all blended together. The only consistent thing is the bagel shower twice a day(?). I’ve talked with some of the other basement dwellers and a plan is forming. With the stale, concrete tough bagels we hid under the floor boards we plan to-/\|//||\\|//\\| the rest of the entry has been torn out...

You plan to lay real fucking low and not give the others any dumbass ideas.

- you can now dress layton up in funny outfits and u can take his knickers off but not the hat

- in third person camera npcs now free roam and theres an action wheel you can use when you target luke to give him commands. one of the commands is “KILL”

- you can swap between controlling luke and layton and luke is the only one that can sprint and when hershel is following luke while sprinting he repeatedly stops and starts holding his hip in agony

- GTA laytonmobile or frog mech gameplay i need this like i need air

- a tense scene between hershel and the evil cowboy man except it’s got that luigi and bowser tension, where the evil cowboy grabs hershel by the chin and rips him closer until they’re staring each other down in the eyes. the evil cowboy’s hot breath is on hershel’s face skewing his barely visible bangs and it’s cold in whatever steampunk chamber they’re confronting each other in so the cowboy’s breath is visible with frost and warms hershel’s face

Day in the life 2 - j.q

it was December 20th, 5 days before Christmas came. to say Esme was excited was an understatement. she had begged you and Joseph to put up the Christmas tree on the 27th November, saying it was so close to Christmas that you needed the tree up. obviously you obliged and put up the Christmas tree on the 27th with Joseph, and Esme who actually helped for the first time.

today was the day you, Joseph and Esme were going to see Santa and after having both yours and Joseph's social media's blow up after the first day in the life was posted you decided it would be so cute to do another vlog/day in the life for the fans to watch. you had told Esme that you would be doing another vlog and she had never been more excited. she wasn't counting down the days to see Santa, she was counting down the days to vlog and it was the cutest thing ever.

you were 7 months pregnant and your baby was now the size of an eggplant. you had tried your best for the past 3 months to keep your bump hidden- not wanting the public to know just yet but after you were spotted in the supermarket by a fan who hugged you without warning you definitely couldn't keep it a secret.

so, you decided to post a photo of you and Esme. she was by your side, asleep with her hand on your growing bump. you had your left hand brushing through her disheveled curls and you had a hot chocolate in the other left the caption 'Esme and bump ☁️'

to be honest you couldn't wait for another baby. you loved being a mum and you loved watching Joseph be a dad. Esme was the perfect child and you hoped that this baby would be as good as she is. since you were pregnant you didn't get much sleep so you woke up before Joseph and Esme, meaning you could make them breakfast.

you didn't want to start the vlog by yourself because you loved watching the start of the last vlog which was almost a year ago now- yes people had been requesting a second vlog for almost a year. even when Joseph went to different comic-con's and events at least one person brought up the day in the life and if there would be a part two.

he always reassured everyone that there would be a part two but he just didn't know when but today was definitely the perfect day to do a vlog, Esme's first time properly meeting Santa was surely going to make all the fans hearts melt and it was definitely going to make you emotional. you didn't know why but thinking about her growing up always made you emotional and it was a lot more frequent now that you were pregnant.

you were a hormonal mess and both Esme and Joseph tried their best to not make you cry but sometimes it was difficult. so what you cried when Ray was murdered in The Princess and the Frog- it was sad. Joseph was used to you being hormonal, you were exactly the same when you had Esme. but Esme, she was definitely not used to her mum being upset all the time.

Joseph had to explain to her why you were emotional all the time and she sort of got it but then again she was 5 years old and still only just grasping the concept of holding a conversation properly. Joseph had woken up to pots and pans clinking together in the kitchen. Joseph knew exactly what you were making because you made it practically every day- hash browns, sausages, marmite on toast and a yogurt which changed every day- it depended on how you were feeling but your favourite was definitely peaches.

he and Esme didn't really like the combination so they ate something different but if you were happy, he was happy. he grabbed the camera off of the bedside table and sat up, turning his body to sit on the edge of the bed. "good morning everyone. i don't really know what to do with these things but i do know for a fact that you all wanted another day in the life so i guess this is a part two. Esme is surprisingly still asleep which is shocking because as you can hear" he stayed silent for a minute as he started walking to Esme's room so the camera could hear you singing and clanking around the kitchen.

"y/n is being very loud in the kitchen. it's every morning- she's singing the same song and making the same breakfast. honestly though, i wouldn't change it because she's happy, the baby is definitely happy so i'm happy. oh yeah and if you guys didn't know we are having another baby which is so exciting but anyway, i need to wake Esme up now so you guys know how this goes i guess"

Joseph smiled at the camera before turning it around to show Esme's bedroom door. she was laying on her bed in a starfish position with her hair all over the place. some of it was over her eyes and the rest was just on her pillow. "she is so beautiful" he whispered as he approached her bed, setting up the camera in the exact same position as last time.

he pushed the hair off of her face gently and stroked her cheek. she stirred slightly but didn't wake up, making him lean down to place a few small kisses on her forehead. this made her wake up, her eyes opening slowly. her eyes were exactly the same as Joseph's and that was one thing you hoped all your kids had- his beautiful eyes.

once she saw her dad smiling down at her with his hand running through her hair softly, trying not to catch in any knots. she reached her arms up, still half asleep as she waited her her dad to pick her up for her morning cuddle that she got from both of you every morning. "morning baby. did you sleep okay?" he picked her up and sat her on his lap. she cuddled into him straight away making the smile on his face grow.

"i had a good sleep" her eyes were closed again as she practically fell back asleep on him. "that's good sweetheart. remember what today is?" and with that her eyes shot open and she looked straight at her dad. "Santa" she whispered her excitement building as she realised she was going to meet the Santa Claus.

"that's right sweetheart. we just need to-" before Joseph could finish she crawled off of his lap and ran straight to her closet to pick out the perfect outfit to meet Santa. "daddy help me. we need to go right now before he leaves. i haven't shown him my list yet" Joseph laughed at her hurried antics.

"baby Santa isn't going anywhere okay? we have all day to see him. we need to have breakfast and get ready first" he explained, picking up the camera and pointing it at her as she rummaged around the wardrobe which was filled with clothes. "but what if he doesn't wait daddy? i don't wanna miss him"

Joseph couldn't help it but his heart melted when she said this. she had been talking about seeing Santa since you brought up the idea. "i promise you won't miss him sweetheart. now come on, we have to go see mama" after hearing that she ran to the stairs and waited for Joseph to follow her before she went down them.

the downstairs was filled with the smell of sausages and burnt toast. Esme and Joseph made their way to the kitchen and saw you sniffling as you just watched the sausages cooking in the frying pan. "morning mama" Esme said, running to you and wrapping her small arms around your leg. you sniffled loudly before whispering a small "morning love"

you had burnt your toast by accident and now you were silently crying. you couldn't stop thinking about the food going to waste and it was all your fault. it wasn't like you didn't have other pieces of bread that you could use but you hated wasting food and this just made you feel bad. "y/n, sweetheart why are you crying?" Joseph set the camera down on the kitchen counter, completely forgetting about the vlog. the only thing he cared about in that moment was you.

he came around to where you were standing and wiped under your eyes softly. "yeah mummy why are you crying?" you felt more tears welling up in your eyes as both your husband and daughter tried to comfort you. "i burnt my toast" and with that, fat salty tears rolled down your face quickly. you were practically inconsolable. "that's alright love, we can just make some more. it's not an issue. we have more bread" Joseph always tried his best to calm you down and now was one of these times where he didn't want you to upset yourself even more- it was toast.

"you don't get it Joe. i burnt it and now it's a waste. people are dying and i burnt food now it's not going to get eaten and it's all my fault" you sobbed loudly, leaning into Joseph's shoulder as he wrapped his arms around you. Esme stared up at you with worried and confused eyes. "daddy, is mama okay?" Joseph looked down at the little girl and sent her a smile before nodding.

"why don't you go sit at the table Es, let me sort mama out" he let one of his hands let go of you so he could brush a hand through her hair. all she did was nod her head and walk to where the table was and sit down, waiting patiently like she had been told to.

"sweetheart it's okay, it's just toast baby" he kissed the side of your head gently. you looked up at him, his arms were still wrapped around you as you looked directly at him. "i feel so bad. i burnt it by accident and now-" "see, you said it yourself baby, it was an accident and accidents happen. you didn't mean to burn it so it's okay. how about i make some for you and finish up in here and we can all eat together? why don't you go sit with Esme."

you sniffled, scratching your bump softly before using your sleeve to wipe your nose. you looked at the burnt toast which was sat looking sad on the plate before sighing. silly you crying over toast. "okay" your voice was hoarse, your eyes were bloodshot and you had streaky lines down your cheeks from your tears. Joseph gave you a quick kiss on the cheek before you wrapped the dressing gown around you, walking away from Joseph and the messy kitchen.

Joseph looked at the sausages in the frying pan which here also burnt because of you crying to him. he put everything in the bin and started again- knowing you definitely would not like the taste of burnt sausages. Joseph completely forgot about the camera which was still recording and quickly grabbed it, facing it to himself. "sorry about that guys but duty called. i feel like i should give this to Esme for a bit whilst i focus on this"

Joseph shouted out for Esme, waiting to hear the sound of the pitter patter of tiny feet running across the floor. he smiled softly when he saw her running r

through the kitchen door and look up at him. "mummy's okay daddy. she's calmed down" Joseph did feel relief fill his body as he heard from his little girl that you had in fact calmed down now.

"that's good sweetheart, listen, i'm not focusing on the vlog right now- do you want to take the camera and speak to everyone?" her eyes widened as she realised she yet again got the to look after the camera. "yes please daddy. can i show the baby?" she asked as he handed her the camera. "if mama is okay with it love. go ask her baby" she squealed and ran back into the dining room where you were sat on your phone.

"mama, mama look. daddy let me take the camera. can i show everyone the baby" you put down your phone and smiled to her, tucking a piece of lose hair behind her ear. "yeah you can show everyone the baby" you lifted up Joseph's top, which was oversized on you, and showed your almost fully grown bump, placing your hand on your belly. she gently placed her hand on top of yours but made sure the camera could see the baby.

as you and Esme stroked your bump you felt little kicks coming from your baby. you loved the feeling of your babies kicking. when you first felt Esme kick you were shocked. obviously you'd never been in that situation before but you instantly started crying knowing your baby was okay. "mama look, the baby is kicking us. the baby is kicking for the fans" she squealed loudly making you laugh.

"yeah baby, the baby is kicking for the fans" Esme kept the camera focused on your bump as she carried on stroking it. "do you know how long it will be until we see Santa mama? i don't wanna miss him" you knew Esme really wanted to meet Santa but you also knew he wasn't going anywhere just yet. you could see the desperation on her face as she awaited your response.

"sweetheart, Santa isn't going anywhere so i promise you won't miss him. we need to eat first baby and get dressed before we can go out" she sighed dramatically but handed you the camera so you could turn it off when she heard Joseph coming in with everyone's breakfast. you shut off the camera and focused on your family, wanting to enjoy the family breakfast time alone and without the camera.

"here we are loves" you heard Joseph say as he placed all the plates on the table. you had your usual sausages, hash browns, toast and yogurt whilst Joseph and Esme had sausage sandwiches. "mmm yummy. thank you daddy" Esme was always polite and you were so proud that she always used her manners, even if she was in a mood with either you or Joseph she always said her 'pleases' and 'thank yous'.

after breakfast and you all getting ready (which Esme insisted on filming for the fans) you were all finally ready to meet Santa. Esme was speaking to the camera for the whole car ride. you've never heard her speak so fluently and it just melted your heart. "so guys we are seeing Santa" she squealed, making you turn to watch her in the back seat.

"mama, do you think Santa will like me?" Joseph looked at her through the rear view mirror with a slight frown. she had dropped the camera slightly so she could look at both her parents, she could see that both of you were frowning. "why would Santa not like you sweetheart?" Joseph's hand squeezed yours as she awaited her answer.

she sighed loudly and placed the camera next to her. "i just don't wanna get on the naughty list so close to Christmas. i want him to like me when i see him" both the frowns on yours and Joseph's faces dropped into sympathy looks. "sweetheart you've been really really good this year, Santa definitely will not take you off of the nice list this close to Christmas. i'm sure he will stop at our house first just because of how good you've been"

once she heard Joseph reassure her that she would definitely not be put on the naughty list, she picked the camera back up and carried ok talking to the fans about what she had asked for and how excited she was for Christmas. "Joe, maybe we could go to the Christmas market after we see Santa? it could be fun. Esme's never been to one before"

Joseph loved Christmas markets, there was just so much to look at and everything was just so beautiful there. you also knew that Joseph wanted to take Esme to one, you went together on your third date and it was just something in that moment that you were the one for him. he didn't know what it was, maybe it was your compassion for others or just that you loved Christmas because it bought you and your family closer. he just knew he needed to be with you and that was it.

"yeah we can do love, you sure you won't get tired with all the walking? i don't wanna drag you around baby. you've been feeling sore and i know walking for you is difficult" you turned and smiled at him. he had been making sure you were okay, as he should, but he always made sure you were comfortable. he didn't want you to push yourself to far that you can barely walk (which you did when you were pregnant with Esme).

"we can go love, i wanna take her to one. this will be her last Christmas alone and i wanna make it as special as possible" he bought your right hand to his lips and placed a small kiss on the back of your hand. "it will always be special baby, she loves every year. don't worry" you turned and smiled at him, your heart melting as he reassured you.

you arrived at the shopping centre where Santas grotto was being held. you realised that the Christmas market wasn't too far away from the shopping centre which you thanked the lord above because it meant Joseph didn't have to drive for hours to get there which also meant you didn't need to sit down for hours with the baby kicking against your ribs.

Joseph had parked in the shopping centre car park which meant you'd only have to walk to the lift and then to where the grotto was inside the centre. Joseph jogged around to where Esme was and helped her out the car. he then opened the door for you, sticking his hand out so he could help you out the car just like he did for Esme.

what you both didn't know was that Esme was filming both you and Joseph as he helped you get out of the car. "wow such a gentlemen" you joked as you closed the car door, placing your left hand on your bump. "yeah mama, daddy is a gentleman" she copied, not really pronouncing it correctly which made you and Joseph laugh loudly.

"come on sweetheart, give daddy the camera so you can walk with mama." she handed Joseph the camera and then walked to you, seeing your hand stretched out for her to take so you could both walk hand in hand. Joseph was sneakily recording you and Esme walking together "my girls are the cutest" he whispered to the camera as Esme and you swung your held hands back and forth. Joseph then turned the camera off and jogged over to you guys and grabbed ahold of Esme's other hand, walking towards the lift.

once you had finally gotten into the shopping centre itself, you saw signs all over showing the direction to Santa's grotto. Joseph got out the camera out and showed Esme. she was squealing every so often when she saw a sign- 'Santas grotto this way'. "Es, are you excited to see Santa?"

she practically screamed when she finally saw the grotto which was surrounded by elves, fake snow, fake gingerbread men and other families who’s children were just as excited to see Santa as Esme. “omg daddy look. Santas elves are all here. i can’t wait to see him” you smiled brightly as you listened to your little girl speak.

“yeah baby, his elves are here. there’s not many people in the queue sweetheart so it won’t be long” Joseph replied as he ran a hand through her perfectly curled hair. you loved Esme’s hair, it just fit her perfectly and you were so grateful she had inherited that from Joseph. after a few minutes of waiting it was your turn to see Santa. Esme began to grow nervous even though she had been excited ever since you had decided to take her to see Santa.

“mama i’m nervous” she whispered as her grip on your hand became tighter. “it’s okay sweetheart, do you want me to come with you?” after seeing her nod her head you all walked into the grotto, seeing Santa sat in his big chair with a smile on his face. Joseph had also came into the room, filming the two of you with Santa.

“wow, it’s nice to meet you. what’s your name?” Santa said as you gently placed Esme on his lap. “Esme” she whispered looking up at him. “that’s a pretty name, now. have you been a good girl this year?” she finally started coming out of her shell as she got comfortable with Santa- obviously she was calm because you were right next to her.

“yes i’ve been really good, haven’t i mama?” she turned to you and watched you nod your head and tuck a piece of hair behind her ear. she turned back to Santa who was smiling brightly at the five year old. “well that’s brilliant! if there were two things you’d really want this Christmas, what would it be?” she thought for a moment before her eyes lit up.

“i would love a new barbie doll house please. i’ve seen it on the tv and daddy said if i’m good i could ask you for it so i wrote it on my list. i hope you got it” she said, swinging her legs back and forth as she then thought for her next ‘gift’. “i did see it on your list. you’ll have to wait until Christmas morning to see if you got that. you are very polite” Santa said, making Esme have a small blush appear on her cheeks. “thank you” she whispered, a small, shy smile appearing on her face.

“what else do you wish for Esme?” you whispered to her, watching as she went deep into thought for a moment. Joseph was watching from afar, his eyes filled with adoration as he watched his two girls interact with one another. “well, my mama is having a baby and i would really like it to be a girl. but, after that i would like another baby but for it to be a boy. not another girl please.” she spoke, listening as you and Joseph laughed at her.

Santa coughed before shifting slightly with Esme in his lap. “well, i’m not to sure if i can do that Esme but i’ll try my hardest. maybe wait until your mama and dad are ready. maybe they just want you and then this baby and that might be it. but it’s up to them, if they do i’ll try my best to make it a baby boy” Santa said, making Esme’s smile widen. she really wanted more then one sibling and if Santa said he’d try his hardest for her to have more then one she would take it.

you got up from the floor, struggling as your bump got in the way. kneeling was not a good idea but you didn’t want Esme to be uncomfortable with just Santa. “Esme sweetheart, do you want a photo with Santa?” when you saw her nod her head you walked as fast as you could to stand beside Joseph who took ahold of your hand almost immediately.

you both watched intently as Esme put on her best smile for the picture. just having that memory filmed from Joseph and having a picture of her first time meeting Santa just made you wanna cry. your baby girl was growing up and it just felt like time was going so quickly. you saw Joseph panning the camera to you as you both watched your daughter with Santa.

“baby are you crying” Joseph asked as he realised you were genuinely about to cry. “i’m just really proud of her. i have no idea why but i’m so lucky she’s my daughter and the fact that she’s growing up just makes me sad because one day she’ll be doing this with her kids” you sniffled, praying that your tears wouldn’t actually fall because today was the first day you’d done your makeup in months and it actually looked pretty.

“aww sweetheart, it’s okay. that’s not for a very love time yet. don’t cry, you did your makeup beautifully” he whispered, leaning in to kiss your cheek. “i know” you replied, making him smile and pull you into his side, both of your focus shifting back to Esme and Santa. “thank you Santa. get rest before Christmas Eve, you’re gonna be busy” Esme said, giving Santa a hug before walking over to you guys with a small gift in her hands.

“mama look what Santa gave me, he said it was an early present for being good” she squealed, her excited expression filling both yours and Joseph’s heart with so much love. “wow baby, that’s great. say one last thank you before we leave” you smiled as she grabbed ahold of your hand. “bye Santa, have a nice Christmas” she waved, practically pulling you out of the grotto.

“bye Esme, and you have a lovely Christmas too” he smiled, waving back at her. after you and Joseph thanked the staff you were handed the few photos of Esme and Santa, you made your way back to the car to finally go to the Christmas market. “daddy, can i please tell the fans about Santa when i’m in the car?” she asked when the three of you got into the lift.

“of course sweetheart. i’m sure they’d love to hear all about it” he smiled brightly at her. Joseph took ahold of your hand and let his thumb softly run over the top of it comfortingly. you turned to look at him, seeing him already glancing at you with a gentle smile on his lips. “are you sure you wanna go to the christmas market? we have walked a lot today and i don’t wanna tire you out more”

you loved him. even though it was your idea he still wanted to make sure you were alright and make sure you wanted to go. you nodded to him, squeezing his hand as the lift door finally opened up on your floor. “yes i still wanna go, we don’t have to stay long i just wanna look around. Esme’s never been to one before and it would be nice to end the day after going to that” you replied, walking out of the lift and seeing the car which thankfully wasn’t to far away.

“okay sweetheart, only if you’re sure though, we won’t stay long” he kissed your cheek and passed the camera to Esme again who was waiting patiently for her dad to help her into the car, and opened the car door for you, helping you in and closing the door after you had gotten comfortable.

“daddy, are we going home now?” Esme asked, holding the camera to her face as Joseph strapped her into her car seat. “no sweetheart, we are going to go the the Christmas market first then going home” Joseph said as he finally finished clicking the button together in her car seat. “does that mean i get to vlog more daddy? that’s so nice for the fans” she said, smiling at him. “yes it does sweetheart”

the Christmas market was beautiful. it was filled with all different market stools with food, drinks, different hand crafted ornaments, and so many other stools which you didn’t get around to look at because of how sore your feet and back was.

you stayed at the market for about an hour before both you and Esme were complaining about being tired and you were just in so much pain from all the walking that you’d hardly gotten any market content for the vlog. however, Esme decided to sing Christmas songs the whole way home so that would definitely be content the fans would love.

after getting home, you saw it was 5pm already and you were shattered. you’d been waking all day, practically cried twice and all you wanted to do was sit down and sleep. you had spoken to the camera probably 4 times and that was practically nothing compared to the other video where you were talking to the camera the whole time but you were tired and pregnant.

Joseph had gone up stairs with Esme for a while so he could vlog something you had absolutely no idea about so you were left on the sofa watching orange is the new black. you could hear laughter and a few words from their conversation but you couldn’t make our full sentences and after a while their voices started to fade as your eyes fluttered closed, the day finally catching up with you as you napped on the sofa.

Joseph and Esme were drawing pictures together so they could give them to you just because they loved you. they were both sat at the small plastic table, the chairs too small to even fit Joseph on them so he was sat on the floor, drawing hearts, flowers and Esme was even drawing a family portrait of the three of you.

“Es, was there a reason you wanted to do this for mama?” Joseph asked, his eyes focused on his drawing of a huge flower which was actually not really looking like a flower. “she’s tired daddy. baby not being nice to her so i wanna show her i love her” she replied, picking up the red pen and writing a small ‘i love you’ on the bottom of the page. “that’s so sweet of you baby, she’s gonna love it so much.” he smiled at her, tickling her sides making her laugh. “stop daddy, don’t let me mess up my art”.

the two of them were up there for two hours before they came down to see you still sleeping peacefully on the sofa. “mama? mama wake up please, i have a surprise for you” Esme whispered, making you finally open your eyes from your nap. you saw the clock on the wall reading ‘7:26pm’ making you thank god for you all eating out earlier, it meant you didn’t have to cook which also meant more time in bed.

“what is it sweetheart” you said, voice croaky as you sat up on the sofa. she squeezed in next to you and you wrapped your arm around her. “i drew it for you” she yawned after that but nevertheless handed you the piece of paper. your heart melted as your eyes looked around the page. it wasn’t detailed but it was detailed enough to where you could make out what it was. there was you, your bump, Joseph and Esme all together with a few flowers dotted around the page.

“wow sweetheart this is beautiful, you are so creative” you said, kissing her forehead gently and playing with a few strands of her curled hair. you saw that she was dressed in her pyjamas meaning Joseph had gotten her ready for bed- it was nearing her bedtime and you could tell she was tired from the amount of yawning she had done since being downstairs.

“maybe it’s time for you to go to bed sweetheart? you seem really tired” you said, kissing her forehead as she cuddled into you more. you heard Joseph click the off button on the camera and placing it down on the coffee table, meaning he had stopped recording. “yeah love, you are practically falling asleep on mama here and we don’t want that. why don’t you say goodnight and i’ll tuck you in?” Joseph suggesting, making her nod her head, obviously to tired to complain.

“night mama, i love you” she whispered, making you smile. “night my sweet girl. i love you too. i’ll see you in the morning” you said, giving her a kiss on the cheek before Joseph picked her up and took her upstairs to her princess bedroom. you absolutely loved your family and you were so grateful they were in your life forever.

after the video had been up for a few days, the views had practically doubled on this video with so many more positive comments which you absolutely loved to read. of course there were a few negative ones but you always skipped them, they didn’t really impact you in any way but the positive ones always did. most of them were about Esme, again, and how beautiful she was but then again there were so many comments about all of you and how well you and Joseph had raised Esme:

“this family is the cutest! the fact that Joseph calmed y/n down shows how patient he is with her and their relationship is just so beautiful. congratulations on the new baby y/n!”

“guys, it’s a sad day, Esme didn’t say blob in this video, she said vlog, it means she’s growing up and i can see why y/n was crying in Santas grotto 🥹”

“y/n is glowing, like, she looks so beautiful. (not saying that she doesn’t look beautiful any other time but specifically in this video she looks gorgeous)”

“Joseph and y/n are just such good parents like i just cannot cope with the ending where Esme and Joseph were talking about y/n and then Esme giving y/n the drawing. you can just tell that baby loves her parents so much”

“okay if my kid isn’t as polite and kind as Esme, i don’t want it. she’s been bought up so well and not many kids have manners so well done y/n and Joseph”

“Esme asking for the baby to be a girl and then asking for a baby brother just melts my heart. she could of asked for anything and she asked for that, so cute 🥰”

“okay, Joseph helping y/n out of the car and then Esme copying y/n and calling him a gentleman was just the cutest thing, my heart is just melting rn”

“Esme is so pretty, like she’s the perfect mix of Joseph and y/n. hearing y/n say proud of Esme just made me so happy. i love this little family so much!”

and there were so many others. you and Joseph loved to read through all the comments which were made about your family never failed to put a smile on your face. you sometimes even read them to Esme to tell her how much the fans liked her. “so mama, the fans really like me?” she asked, her doe eyes looking straight at you. “yes sweetheart, they really do”.

day 5: full au

this is the day i’ve been looking forward to most for this event!! i’m so excited to share a few au recs :D

first of all: Tip-toeing on Lily-pads by my beloved @cherryisgone!! it’s a lovely little fantasy au where Will’s a prince, Mike’s a knight, and El likes to curse Mike by turning him into a frog. i bet you can guess the only way the curse can be broken, right? >:) anyway, this is so well-written, it’s 7k words of Will pining, and it’s got all the things i could ever hope for out of a fantasy au: two people being held back from each other because of politics and duties to one’s nation :’D i mean, yes, it was a birthday gift to me, so in a lot of ways, it was tailored to my tastes, but it’s got such a fun vibe and beautiful descriptions that i think it can be (and should be) enjoyed by all. so, yeah, take some time to spend with a princess and the frog-esque au written by one of my dear friends 💜🐸

then: A New Fight by @tea-for-one-please! i was out of town all last week, and even though i brought a couple of books with me to read, i spent all of my free reading time with this lovely trilogy. it’s a fantastically imagined star wars au, and while byler is a big focus of it, i truly enjoyed how the author integrated all of the party members into the story in such a natural way. i wouldn’t say i’m the most die-hard star wars fan - in fact, i probably could only barely describe the plot of any of the movies - but the franchise does hold a special place in my heart for personal reasons, so it was so enjoyable getting to read about some of my favorite characters from st being thrown into the rebellion!! seriously, if you have some time, definitely spend it with this series

Warm by @notebooknonbinary! this is just a quick little d&d au that’s so cute and sweet. as my beloved Vee says in the description, it’s nice to see that Mike has the self-preservation skills of a lemming in any universe lol. of course he put himself in harm’s way to save Will!! and now we get to see the aftermath of it with Vee’s lovely writing :]

Daydream by disaster_energy! another d&d au, but this time, Will gets chosen by the moon goddess, and Mike decides to pledge his allegiance to that paladin order. it’s really sweet, and the universe the author built was also super fun to see!! it kind of reminded me of the world-building in percy jackson, so if you liked those books, definitely check this one out!!

im really not good at remembering specific instances that ive cried but im SURE i have. but i dont remember! i DO remember crying because i saw kingdom hearts and sofia the first fanart and seeing sora and little sofia was so cute it brought me to tears. I also may have cried when i dreamed roxas was real and my friend and then i woke up and realized it was just a dream

Disney Review Request Princess and the Frog

Requested by @themousefromfantasyland who wanted me to discuss Princess and the FRog ,the PRincess film that isnt really talked about and why it is a bit under the radar ....And yeah I wanna talk about that too .See I remember the HYPE for this film :It was Disney going back to their roots ,a princess fairy tale musical in beautiful 2D animation by Ron Clements and John Musker AKA the best directors Disney has ever had ,this was it ,this was going to bring back Disney for a modern age.....And it did fine ,not the game changer Disney was hoping for and as a result instead of bring back Disney 2D after a long hiatus,it was more of a swan song befor one last gasp in the form of Winnie the Pooh .I also saw the film in the theaters right when Disney had kind of become an obsession and for a few years it was the fave movie of my lil sibling.....Till Frozen came out .Also spoilers ahead

The plot of this 2009 film concerns a waitress named Tiana (Anika Noni Rose) who dreams of opening her own restraunt ,and meets Naveen(Bruno Campos) a selfish Prince who has been turned into a frog in a scheme by the evil Dr Facilier (Kieth David ) ,and going by the Frog Prince fairy tale ,Naveen convinces Tiana to kiss him in exchange for enough money to pay for her restraunt .....Only for her to turn into a frog as well ,and the two set off on an adventure to find a way to make them human

This is a film I wish I loved ,cause there is a lot to love .The animation is beautiful ,and everytime I watch it I get a little sad cause 2D has been completly taken over by CG ,at least in America .I like the side characters .Louis the Trumpet playing gator while not having a lot to do is brilliantly animated by Eric Goldberg and played masterfully by Michael Leon Wooley (THough I will confess ,since I found out he played Audrey II in the Broadway version of Little Shop of Horrors ,I keep expecting him to go "Feeeeeddd Meeeee" ).I ADORE Mama Odie ,a 197 year old blind voodoo priestess .She is kind of a deceptively goofy yet wise character which is an archetype I love and Jennifer Lewis gives it her all ,I had no idea the actress was only in her 50's she convinced me she was much older . I think my favorite character might be Tianas friend Charlotte ,a rich girl obsessed with marrying a prince ,she is just so energetic and funny and I love that she genuinely cares about Tiana .Ray the firefly is a character I thought I wouldnt like when the film was being advertised and I confess I dont like his design .....But he is actually the heart of the film ,Jim Cummings givers a great performance ,I love his sub plot about being in love with a star ,Evangeline ,and I remember how shocking it was that Ray DIES .At the end of the film Dr Facilier KILLS him ,and I remeber the audience gasped in the theater .Now I have seen people who either think Rays death is emotionally powerful or straight up silly ,for me....Im a big ball of emotion ,so when that second star eppears next to the wishing star meaning Ray is finally with Evangeline ......I tear up

I really love Naveen as a character ,a disinherited playboy who loves jazz and his arc and romance with Tiana is good.I also just adore the setting ,I think 1920's New Orleans is the perfect place for a 20th century fairy tale (Wish they used it better but I will get into that ).I also love the use of jazz music and speaking about the music lets talk about the songs by Randy Newman .Now I am not a big Newman fan but I think the songs are really good though some are just OK and I am gonna talk about them from my least favorite to my most favorite

8.Never Knew I needed-the obligatory end credits pop song that is good ,but I dont love it ,I kind of forgot this one existed

7.When We're Human-Sung by Tiana,Naveen and Louis Its cute but kind of meh for me

6.Gonna Take You There-Sung by Ray and his Firefly family ,its just OK

5.Down in New Orleans(All versions)-I actually really like this song ,its a good opener and closer

4.Almost There:Tianas song that is really damn good, Anika Noni Rose does a fantastic job ,I think it is also my third favorite song animation wise ....I just like three other songs better

3.Ma Belle Evangeline -One of the most underrated love songs in Disney ,I think the sequence is beautiful(One of my favorite scenes in the film honestly ) and Jim Cumming really shows off his singing skills

2.Dig A Little Deeper :Mama Odies song and its just got a good message while also be8ing a ton of fun and Jennifer Lewis just sells it .I got a weakness for Gospel style numbers

1.Friends on the Other Side-OK I have opinions that are unpopular about Doctor Facilier but I will give him this ,he has one of the BEST Villain songs in Disney .Kieth David really shows off his amazing singing skills here,the animation is perfect ,I like how it builds up to being completely insane ,its fun ,its creepy ,its just a great villain song.....With a perfect reprise ,but I'll talk about that later

I'll talk about Tiana later ,so lets go into what I think is the flaws/things I am kind of meh about/thing that almost work but dont but-...*Sigh* lets just get into it

In the meh category ....The use of celeb voices here are weird.Like usually you get a big star to play the main character or the sidekick or the villain.....But aside from getting the great character actor Kieth David to play the villain,which I get but the other three BIG STARs play supporting characters.Now I kind of get Terrance Howard and Oparah Winfrey for the parents but...I'm just gonna say it ,why is JOHN GOODMAN IN THIS FILM ??I love John Goodman ,dont get me wrong ,and yeah he is a plot point, (FAcilier wants to kill him and gain his wealth ) but he doesnt do much so I am always distracted when I hear Goodmans voice

Annnnnnddd lets get to the part that I think might get me some flack....Lets talk about my issues,AND what I like about Dr Facilier .I KNOW this guy is super beloved he is the part of the movie people REALLY like....And I'm sorry I got problems with him .I'll start with what I like :His design is great ,evoking classic DIsney villains like Captain Hook ,his villain song like I said is marvelous ,I like his evil plan to take over New Orleans and feed all the inhabitants souls to his Friends on the Other Side ,he's got menace to him,I love the fact his shadow is alive .he is played by one of my favorite actors Kieth David who delivers a phenominal vocal performance and I like that beneath his cool facade he is actually a desperate and terrified dude when it comes to his otherworldly buddies ......But while he is made of cool parts ,they emphisize his greed ,his motive is he wants money and power ......Thats boring and it doesnt really vibe with "Im going to let spirits devour New Orleans " .The other is he is more plot villain and not a good foil to the heroes . He has no connection with Tiana really ,they only have one scene together and she apparently knows who he is but thats never explained .I say to make him a better villain

1.Emphisize his back story that he was someone who used magic to fufill his desires the easy way ,and his desperation to pay off his debt is his motive

2.Have him pursue the heroes ,and tempt the heroes.

I wll say he is a fun character ,I just wish he was great .....Oh his death scene is AMAZING and TERRIFYING though, dragged to the spirit world by his own shadow as his own villain song is sung by monstrus spirits ,that was such a jaw dropping scene in the theater ,possibly my favorite Disney villain death

As for things in the I dont like section.....The film begins strong,and ends strong too.....But that middle section in the bayou is just kind of dull.Up to Ma Belle Evangiline that whole part of the film just drags ,including these three minor bad guys that dont add anything ,theres some terrible jokes ,and two of the songs dont do it for me .Humor in general is hit and miss .Oh I almost forgot ,Lawrence is one of the most forgettable villain sidekicks in Disney,I kind of forget he is in the movie

I like Tiana ,I think she is a good protagonist ,Anika Noni Rose soes a good performance ,I find her likeable and I like her romance with Naveen.

2 - Do you think this movie would be better if Tiana didn't turn into a frog, or if the frogs journeyed through New Orleans more inteastad of the bayou?

Yeah I wouldve preferred mor human Tiana,and while I like swampy settings ,I wanted more in New Orleans .

Its... on the good end of Watchable .I dont return to it a bunch it has flaws ...But its got its good stuff in it .I dunno I always go in wanting it to be better then it is

Overall it almost works but it feels undercooked ,but I still reccomend it .If best is A+ this is about a B

I work in costuming for a local theater on the coast during the summer + got a big ol tattoo on my arm!!! (I also let my roommates bleach my hair in our bathroom lmao but SOMEHOW I still don’t have piercings >:( gotta start getting weirder tbh)

I am very tired today. Which has me feeling a little lightheaded. But it was still a nice day.

I need to not be so hard on myself. I was just reviewing the day before I wrote everything down and was like. Oh you didn't do much, you didn't accomplish much. But that's not true!! I had a good day.

I did end up taking one muscle relaxer last night and it helped me sleep which was nice but I still woke up groggy. At least I didn't have to drive.

I got dressed and felt a little weird in this dress. I think it's the flouncy bottom hem. But I still felt cute. James kept telling me I was cute. And we loaded up the car and left.

We misordered at McDonald's but James got it fixed. And then helped me set up at the market. I was still feeling groggy and a little weird. But I was enjoying talking to Anne and working on some frogs. I got a few done today and that felt nice.

I also wished Stanley a happy birthday. He's going to Atlantic City with his wife and kids tonight for a few days. I hope they have fun and he wins a lot of money. I told him about when my dad left my mom at the beach for gambling quarters and how I can't be trusted to gamble because I have a terrible addictive personality. Made him laugh really hard.

We got baked goods from Ginny. It's the last week for summer flavors! I'm excited for her fall flavors, her stuff really shines that time of year.

I had a good time at the market. I was productive finishing frogs. I got like 5 or 6 done. Even sold one a few minutes after putting it on the table and got lots of compliments and faces (like the sad oh my goodness so cute faces) and it was encouraging. I would sell 3 plushies and 2 stickers packs plus a few stand alone stickers. It was a really good day.

I made a TikTok with my bears. It was the Taylor swift trend where you pick up a pet or an animal or baby and spin them around. So I did that and Ann was like. Jesse that looked so weird you know that right and I'm like Ann I have not one day care what people think about me. And she laughed and said the videos as very cute.

I had some excellent conversations and maybe made some market friends. One with a lovely couple who got a bunch of my stuff and we talked about arthritis and making and how we adapt things so it doesn't hurt so much. I hope they come back cause they were lovely. Someone requested I try to make a pig. So I'm going to attempt that tomorrow I think. Just to see what happens. it's really just going to be changing proportions I think.

One of the funnier parts of the day was when Rod, the bread guy, got terrified by a customer when he wasnt looking and she came up behind him. He legit screamed. It was very funny.

And then a whole bunch of little kids swarmed me. I'm talking like 7 kids! I had then all trying to loom knit. And we got a half a square done through teamwork. These were all 5 years old and you get except for two older brothers who mostly just watched and talked to me. The 2 year old, Luka, did not have the dexterity for it so I held his hand so he could get it. He was all snotty as 2 year olds tend to me and I would ask nicely for the pick tool and would say thank you when he gave it back, we had a good thing going.

The boys kept taking the yarn and unraveling it though which was only mildly annoying but their mom collected it and apologized. I mostly just didn't want them to wrap it around their necks, which they kept doing. I just kept saying "oh no thank you friends." And then redirecting giving them turns doing the loom. Stanley laughed at me with all the kids crawling all over me and my chair and I was like. Stanley I have opened a kindergarten.

Eventually the mom's would take their kids away a few at a time. Until only Mia and her brother were there. She showed her grandma and grandma said she has a loom too so maybe she can do it at home. I love to share especially when it encourages people to make things on their own!!

I was excited to go home though. It got really hot out all of a sudden, even under the pavilion. I would pack up pretty quick. I was already feeling a little woozy. I went inside and said goodbye to James. Chatted with Sarah, it was very nice to see her. And then when I started yawning James told me to go home.

Thankfully there wasn't a ton of traffic. Pratt street, a major through road, was closed for a concert tonight. So I was prepared for bad traffic but I lucked up. And was home before 130.

I parallel parked really well!! Very proud. And then brought everything upstairs. I hugged Sweetp for a bit. And put things away. I accidently squished the peanut butter pie. But it will still taste good.

After everything was put away where it needed to go I would take a quick shower and change. I trimmed my bangs. And laid down.

I would put on the AC and a video and fell asleep pretty fast. And I had intense dreams again. Nothing surprising. Was married to a colonial general in a space/time travel loop on an alien planet. We had three alien babies and were hiding from the government on a desert island/ abandoned nifty fifties.

I woke up woozy still. I went to make a sandwich and then James was home!! I was happy to see them.

They played video games. And I watched videos. And we had a chill evening. I would play with sweetp. And James would go for a bike ride and bring us home burger king. Which I ate in the bathtub. Nothing like a milkshake and fries in a bubble bath.

Now we are in bed. Half watching tiktoks. Half just talking. Resting. I am excited to go back to sleep. I hope it comes easy tonight.

So I was tagged by @missypup to share my top 5 favorite things I've written. And welp. Not only have I posted like less than five things on ao3, I also don't write often. (If you're reading this Missy, I hate you.) Not to mention most of the things I've written don't even have titles??? But I suppose I will do my best.

5.) Awarding the Royals and Accolading the Blood thirsty (ongoing, hiatus but probably discontinued, Kylux, Star wars)

The reason this one is number 5 for me is because its the first time I really sat down and started pumping out chapters. It's very loosely an au mix of The Princess Diaries and The Princess and the frog. It kinda got pushed to the side because covid hit and I became too tired to do anything with it because essential workers, but I'm proud that I got as far as I did with it.

4.) To Remember Me By [working title] (unpublished, Zukka, ATLA)

I have had countless feelings about Zukka from ATLA and for a while it's what kept me going. I wrote a lot of little short things I don't remember writing and this is one of them but it's really cute in my opinion. Basically Zuko and Sokka just started dating after years of pining but Sokka has to leave for a long time so Zuko is really trying to find something nice to get for Sokka so he remembers him. I never finished it (a common theme that's going to keep occuring) and its just a short little thing, but it's just really sweet to me.

3.) Finding Our Truth [working title] (unpublished, Garashir, Star Trek Deep Space Nine)

It took me a long time to come up with ideas for writing Garashir but I definitely wanted to put something down, if only for myself. I'm a sucker for reading these two dance around each other's lies and so I finally decided I wanted to see how the spy would react to finding out the doctor's biggest lie. It's very much angst, with eventual comfort because I think those two eventually deserve to be happy together. Sadly this one is also unfinished and it's also looking to be relatively short.

2.) A Small Piece of a Bigger Picture [working title] (unpublished, Codywan, Star Wars)

Okay but this is the first thing I written in quite some time where it could actually be considered complete. I could post it as a little short story where it is, but I really want to add more onto it. Hence the title. I just really wanted to sit down and explore how I think Cody might've been effected by the Rako Hardeen situation and finding out that Obi-Wan was still alive. I kinda have a thing for angst I guess? I feel kinda excited about this one thanks to that one person that tagged me, the response I got to it was...unlike any response I've ever received to something I've written. So this one I actually really hope to post some day.

1.) Untitled [there's no title yet] (in progress/unpublished, OCxOC, original work)

It was easy to pick this as my number one because it's the first time I've ever creates my own characters, done my own world building, and come up with a pretty solid plot. I write bits and pieces of it every once I a while when I really feel inspired. But I feel like this one is very fun. It was described to me as lovers to enemies to friends to lovers. And that's only the side plot 😆 There's something special about these characters to me and I definitely hope that someday I'll finish it because it's an exciting idea.

I finally got all of my Crab Con orders!!! I haven't used anything yet bc I wanted to get a full pic of everything together.

Included most of the individual order pics as well, for close ups that are easier to see.

Pic 1 - full haul! Yes, I went overboard. I couldn't help it, we have an amazing seller group!

Pic 2 - EarthWaterFire Studio, Mary's store. Blue Mango is new, but everything else are reorders my crabs love. Plus some free samples! I couldn't add the pic, but I also got a couple beautiful dishes & some deer poop from her.

Pic 3 - Crab Cuisine Co, first time ordering! But I did win a free prize from her that the crabs loved. I got some cookies for enrichment toys, and some oils bc I need to get better at giving them more fat options in their diet. It's super important for molting! (Also, best free sticker)

Pic 4 - My Hungry Hermit, first time ordering. Got an awesome book that contains a ton of info on safe and unsafe foods, based on LHCOS's science-backed information. The shop owner is one of the people who have been helping with putting together a new database for the group! Also got burning bush leaves, bc crabs adore them for some reason, and a really cute mirror to add to their tank for enrichment.

Pic 5 - A Little Crabby Co-Op! Savanah is super sweet & did a really nice session on 3D printing during the Con. I'm finally gonna give my printer another try, with her help! This is why I love our seller group, everyone is super supportive. I got some "toe dipper" ramps for my pools, and shell opening measuring rings.

Pic 6 - South of the Ocean, first time ordering. They have some really neat foraged stuff, I hope some pheasant feathers & oak buds. Apparently their Better Than Leaf Litter is a huge hit with crabs too, so I'm excited to see what mine think. Also got a nice lichen heavy stick & some bunny poop!

Pic 7 - MT Pet Emporium, first time ordering. They have a lot of unique proteins and whole items that are great variety for enrichment. I'm excited to get one of the fish heads into my tank. 😂 The barnacles are bigger than I expected too, I haven't decided whether to put them on the sand or in my salt pool.

Pic 8 - BioactiveFX, one of my favorite stores!! Courtney has a degree in animal nutrition & is doing a lot of work to get proper foods available in multiple places for people to have access to. She really wants to get them into pet stores too someday. She also sells fantastic cholla & cork bark. I have a bunch of cork but got a flat with a bunch of lichens for my crabs to nibble on. Also got some moss, lichens, lotus seed pods (the enrichment possibilities!!!!), and stocked up on a bunch of dunaliella salina, an orange algae that my crabs think is the Best Thing Ever. Doesn't matter how big the pile is, it's gone in the morning. Also important to mention wild burro poop, which is new. Yes, I bought a lot of poop, okay, Hagrid is gross & loves it. 😂😂

Pic 9 - Just 2 Old Crabs, another favorite food shop! She cooks and dries all the stinky stuff so we don't have to! 😂 I already have a ton of her food and the crabs devour it. Excited to have a bunch of fresh stuff for them! I've been feeding a ton of last year's food to finish it up so I can set up all the fresh stuff I got this year. They're gonna eat so well!

Pic 10 - First time ordering from Hermit Grub, their foods look gorgeous! Excited to see what my crabs think. They have a VERY well stocked pantry now.

Not shown individually (pic limit) - Coenobita Curiosities, they sell the original curiosity cubes! There's multiple shops on etsy that have taken the idea from them, so make sure you buy from the right shop. They send their cubes out with delicious popcorn to use in them, a sure way to get your crabs checking out their new toy. I got a bridge as well, for my beach topper.

Not shown individually - I also got some Java moss & duckweed from Josh's Frogs, along with a couple bromeliads & a couple spider plants to try in the tank. I need to get them taken care of today, they're still waiting... 😬
