Fanart for @kellen-kat's PHENOMENAL, OUTSTANDING case fic Sweet Little Lies. 

This fic is so So SO good. It keeps me up at night thinking and I mean that in the best way. Also makes me want to eat my own pillow. Trying to find all the clues and figure out the mystery is an absolute DELIGHT. At the end of every chapter I feel like that one Charlie Day image with the pin board and cigarette, you know the one lol Imagine a fic with all the delicious vibes of a The Magnus Archives episode, and thats Sweet Little Lies.

In fact I was listening to DaughterofProspero’s Music of the Fears (based off of, well TMA) while doodling this. 

I’m ashamed to admit that of this moment I am not entirely caught up. I had to pause for a while, a part for life reasons (which I’m not ashamed for, it happens, no worries), another because I’m an absolute Weenie™ and want to wait until all the chapters are out so I can binge the rest in one go, the suspense is OUGH so good, just thinking about it makes my hands clammy(positive).

What might be Fuegoleons favourite flower, in your opinion?

This is a good question, and I wondered about it for a while, because I think that he's the type of a person to appreciate different flowers for different reasons. As in, I headcanon that his hair oil has the scent of lavender, but he wouldn't like it as The Flower to give for a spouse during a celebration or in a bouquet for example.

But I also feel that he'd enjoy having lilacs (the plant/flower) in the garden. Elegant flowers, if that makes sense. Though someone might argue that flowers such as passioflora would suit his personality, I think that flower itself is... it tries too much, if it makes sense. But on the other hand flowers such as lily of the valley seem too .. meek(?) for his liking. Elegant but striking flowers.

Lilac, marigold, azalea, and peony, I think would be such flowers that he'd like. But for the regal aesthetic, I'd probably have to stick with lilac as his favourite flower

Ngl I am a little disappointed in myself. I had to stop reading Starholder even though I loved it. It's got great world-building and characterization (not to mention I am a major simp for Eclipse but aren't we all?)

But it just made me awfully sad and stressed out. In a good way of course. You write out emotional moments so very well that it ended up being too much for my wee little heart. It's kind of funny lol. Keep up the amazing work

The Star Holder series is quite heavy. I'm very sorry that it was so rough to get through, and I completely understand that you needed to step away.

It is kind of like my own Game of Thrones- So much going on and a lot of it rough. Unfortunately that's just the way it goes when you're looking at years-long revenge plots between gods.

That being said, I thank you so much for reading in the first place. And a second thank you for the kind words about my writing! It really means so much to me to know people can feel the emotions these mighty gods are struggling with (and our precious star too!)

All that being said, anon, it is completely valid to choose to leave a work behind if it's too close to home or too heavy for you. We all have our limits and I will never be offended someone has decided to put my work down because of the emotional toll it takes- this is why I find it so important to tag my works with TW's.
