BASICS
Name: Luli Minerva Zhao Age: 33 Affiliation: Old Olympus Occupation: Mob Boss Faceclaim: Fan Bingbing Status: TAKEN by Misha
THE STORY
They call you Zeus, lord of the skies and thunder. Olympus had been yours for the taking, Cronus willing it as such as he left his kingdom to you with his demise, his traditions reigning supreme as you simply did not know how to seize the control you wanted. You can admit to yourself that your tactics were not the bearings of a leader. One by one, the pieces began to break and splinter off. Your kingdom, burned to the ground by outsiders that you never saw coming. Your inheritance is near gone, but gods do not give up. Gods like you are unbreakable, powerful, and invincible - it is your duty to remain tall and be the king that Cronus saw in you, even if you are spiraling.
CONNECTIONS
HADES - You were once brothers, bound by secrets and under the guidance of a man that you could have easily called your father. Though it seemed after the passing of Cronus, they wanted nothing to do with what you were trying to maintain. The rift grew further and further until the war swept you away from them, reconciliation far from your mind. Perhaps some day, you’ll find a common ground once more and return to each other.
HERA - A relationship bound by power, that was what it was for you in the beginning. Though, now, you are not so sure in your actions. They have been the rock that helped you withstand the storm, but they can only bear it for so long. You are in a precarious situation, barely hanging on by a thread.  You can feel them slipping from your grasp, an ultimatum pressed against your chest to give up or give in.
MEDUSA - You refuse to call them the one that got away. Years have gone by since you’ve experienced their allure, but you cannot help the nostalgia that comes with thinking of them. You believe pushing them away has driven their loyalties somewhere else and you can’t help but to wonder what could have been. Be careful, as enticing as they may be, snakes are still venomous.
SUGGESTED FACECLAIMS
Chadwick Boseman, Charlie Hunnam, Oscar Isaac, Rosamund Pike, Deepika Padukone
“When will a pretty girl like you wake up?”
Luli went through her entire life asleep until Harvey. She had her head in the clouds and was determined to keep it there, even after she met him. Some say she is idealistic, but she knows the truth: her daydreams are better than reality and that is why she traps herself in them.
Her mother killed her father. She does not know how she knows this, nor is she aware of why she is so sure, but she could taste his blood in her mouth every morning when daddy stopped coming home. He left. She lied. She then took Luli and moved far away from the isolated life in the midwest to the dizzying crowd in New York City. Her mother was a fortune teller, who relied on Luli’s wild stories to make a quick buck but it was when she met Harvey did Luli began to think more critically. Who was this strange man who kept coming over, was he trying to fuck her mother? If so, why was he insisting on having dinner with her?
We’re going into business together. Her mother told her one day, after another silent dinner. “I’m finally going to start that fashion magazine I talked about before you were born. I knew him from a very long time ago. She spoke as if they were lovers once, but Luli learned of Persephone and how her godmother and Harvey were very happy together later on in her life. Luli stared critically at her mother, yet said nothing and resorted back into her daydream.
In her daydreams, she is a princess, and prince Charming is coming to give her more than a mediocre life.
Harvey became a consistency in her life. Her mother was not. He babysat her, he told her stories of princes and princesses and of little girls who broke the rules and came out as heroes. Harvey did not stiffen nor did he get angry when she accidentally called him dad. Harvey gave her a little brother.
He went by Hades, and he was a strange boy. Luli was not sure what love was until she saw Hades, tiny and struggling to grab something at the top shelf. She had her growth spurt before him, she could get him the snack he wanted. Hades was quiet, and Luli was never on Earth until him. He needed to be protected, even if he did think he knew more about the world than Luli did. He was hers to take care of.
Harvey said she was like Zeus. Why? she asked one day, eager eyes sparkling in the moonlight. Because you long for the stars, he is your patron then. He called her Zeus for the first time that night, and something about being a girl king made her long for more.
But she was a treasured girl to him. He only had two, after all. Luli did not know about a boy in Germany wondering what his father was doing. She did not know she was being slowly groomed to be a child soldier.
The first time she killed someone, she openly sobbed loudly in the abandoned subway station. He was a stranger following her after she saw a movie by herself. Luli wanted to see if her paranoia was true, so she turned into the subway station despite the DO NOT ENTER signs and panicked when she saw him chase after her. Demeter was there instead, not your mother. Harvey would show later, but Demeter was the one who asked why. Because he scared me. He scared her enough for her to bite down on his arm until he fell and wrap her tiny, bony hands around his neck until he stopped hitting her, until he stopped struggling. Harvey did not ask questions. Harvey got rid of the body and sent her home with Demeter, who made her soup and got rid of the blood on her clothes.
Luli did not know that this was the beginning. That she would have more lives on her hands, that she would hardly remember this man. This was her first lightning bolt.
Hera was the prettiest girl Luli had ever saw. She said she was going to marry her, but she did not expect Harvey to actually want her to. Her father was powerful, and while perhaps her mother was not pleased of Luli’s interests in girls, Harvey and Hera’s father knew that their union would only bring more wealth. Luli still hadn’t figured out why, and Hera was quick to let her know that Harvey has a gang and it will soon be hers. You and Hades are his heirs. She told her matter of factly. Hera was bossy and mean, but she was like a seeing eye dog. Luli needed her to let her know what was going on between the lines and pretty words. She were too comfortable living without knowing the real truth of anything in her life and Hera was not.
But she did not love her. She did not love anyone but Hades and Harvey, her brother and her father. That should’ve been enough. She had a feeling Hera loved her, and she wondered why, since she were not lovable towards Hera. Was it her potential power? Did she see her future?
Harvey still pushed for the marriage. They were still young, but courtship was expected. So Luli stayed loyal to what Harvey said and asked why she was the heir to Olympus. She was no leader, so why was she qualified? Harvey smiled at her then and told her because while Hades may had been the calculating business type, Luli was going to be the passionate one. Luli will be the one the gang will look up to once he is gone, because she will inspire them. Luli stayed silent, did Harvey not know that she was passive? She’d rather her palace in the clouds, not her kingdom in the concrete jungle. But Hera knew of Luli’s potential, and Hera made sure that their future was secure.
But Luli did not know that. All she knew was that she now had a kingdom on her shoulders and a dead man’s legacy. She was to share Olympus with Hades but she did not know how to rule- Harvey only taught her the basics. She did not want Olympus if it meant losing her only father figure, but Hera told her to pull herself together and it was then she knew that this was why he made her be with Hera. Hera knew how to rule, she knew how to be stone faced, she just had to become like her- but crueler. In Harvey’s line of work, Luli shouldn’t have been surprised he died, but it still hit her like a thunder storm, tearing apart everything inside of her. She mourned silently while Hera and Hades did not show their emotions. She was too emotional in their eyes. This was her second lightening bolt.
So she lived in a dream again.
This dream was between another woman’s thighs or on the back of some man’s car. She knew Hera knew, she knew she was waiting, she knew she might’ve had them killed later if it was important. But Luli couldn’t stop, it wasn’t that she didn’t care, it was just that she needed to escape. Hera was not her escape.
But when Medusa caught her eye… she wondered if it was worth staying with Hera. She became known eventually as a charmer, her words being just as pretty as her face. When she cheated on Hera before, it was always meaningless, but Medusa was more. She was an escape and more, she brought meaning to her pathetic life.
She also was the reason why her empire was falling apart. It was insidious, her fiancé’s best friend, but she had to break her heart. Olympus was crumbling and only Hera and her could fix whatever was left of it.
Hades was pulling back, and she didn’t even realize until he took so many of the people she cared about away from her and formed a new gang, vowing to overtake hers. New and Old Olympus, how stupid. This wasn’t what Harvey died for, she needed to bring them all back. Her kingdom couldn’t fall just because she was distracted. She asked him why he was doing this to her and his response was robotic in nature:
You are far too incompetent.
As if her entire history with him did not matter. Selfish, they were all selfish beings and she wanted to make them pay. she had killed before, but never to the extent she did now. Most of the time there was a reasoning, most of the time her victims deserved it. Sometimes they did not, this only pulled Hades further away. She knew those who were truly loyal were the important ones, they stuck around when she showed failure. But she is losing them, isn’t she? All of this will not matter one day if she does not become a better leader and stop wasting her time in someone else’s bed.
Part of her wondered if she let Hades rule completely, would he become her brother again. Another part knew that she was a King now and she must act like one.

Happy New Year: 4/10
Oh boy where to start. I believe this movie would appeal and do very well towards a very specific audience. I am not that audience. The action scenes were too over done, even for trying to just be ridiculous to make it funny, the abs ( I know I know ) were not doing it for me and I was so distracted by that random blonde streak in SRK's hair I couldn't think of much else. I think, my biggest disappointment with Happy New Year is with the direction they decided to take Deepika's character. Deepika is very talented. And being cast in a movie where a buncha people get together and form this great team of robbers, but have to dance as their cover up, I wou do have loved it if Deepika wasn't the choreographer and instead could've been one of those robbers. Instead we see her dancing around and forgetting everything as soon as SRK speaks English. I'm just over the ditzy girl I guess. I could go on about how disappointed I was in her character. It even took her an hour to appear on screen! Happy New Year has a good ending that helps make up for the rest. The whole heist does have you on the seat of your chair, but then again I'm an adrenaline junkie so it might've been much more exciting for me. The credits were so fun. Tbh it was my favorite part of the movie. I also Manwaa Laage is very pretty so it's got that going for it. ( tbh i heard the song before and it was the whole reason I watched the movie ) It's not a great movie. And if you really want to see it I'd just skip to the second half its where things really start to pick up in all honesty.

Deepika Padukone And Ranveer Singh Steal The Limelight With A Kiss On The Premier Of ‘Chhapaak’ Niharika Nayak Hyderabd040-395603080 January 9, 2020
The past two years have been a pretty crazy time for Deepika Padukone. Not only did she get married, but her movie Padmaavat even won her a Filmfare nomination for Best Actress. While her career has been on a steady rise, a lot of her fans are also happy that the actress finally got the happily-ever-after she deserved. Deepika and her longtime boyfriend, actor Ranveer Singh tied the knot in a lavish ceremony in late 2018. The actress has lately been doing media rounds, promoting her new film, Chhapaak. And this time, Deepika and her beau Ranveer proved that they are one of the cheesiest couples (evident on Instagram) in B-town with a kiss at the premiere of the movie. Read on to know more.
The Premiere

The people behind Chhapaak hosted a special screening of the film in Mumbai on the 8th of January. The premier was attended by a multitude of celebrities from veteran actress, Rekha to Javed Akhtar, Swara Bhaskar and many other prominent names. Deepika’s father, badminton champ, Prakash Padukone, her mother Ujjala and younger sister, professional golfer Anisha were also in attendance. Deepika arrived at the premiere in an exquisite royal blue Sabyasachi saree with her supportive hubby Ranveer Singh in tow. The so-in-love couple looked adorable as they posed for paparazzi pictures. After encouragement from the paparazzi, Deepika planted a cute kiss on Ranveer’s cheek, and Ranveer returned the gesture by planting one on her cheek as well.
Support Begins At Home

Ranveer has always been an uber supportive partner to Deepika. He loves gushing about her in public, including leaving cheesy comments all over her Instagram pictures. In interviews, Deepika has revealed that she believes Ranveer isn’t just a humble actor but an ideal husband. She states that he is quite confident about himself to the point that he has no qualms if his wife overshadows him. In an interview with a prominent magazine, the actress revealed how she was grateful to Ranveer for being able to focus on work and not get distracted or have to worry about other issues. She claimed that in her previous relationships, she did not receive that freedom. In November 2019, the couple celebrated their first anniversary at Venkateshwara Temple in Tirupati and later at Amritsar Golden Temple. For their Tirupati visit, the duo sported Sabyasachi-designer ensembles. During their visit to the Golden Temple, the couple opted for a more modest outfit, with Deepika wearing a burgundy kurta with Dhoti pants and Ranveer wearing a floral kurta.

Their First Interaction

During a magazine interview, Deepika spoke candidly on what drew her to Ranveer when they met. She revealed, “When we started dating six years ago, I was more successful than him, busier than him, making more money. I’ve never come across a man who is so comfortable with my success and the attention I was getting. He was supportive and encouraging of my career, and it wasn’t superficial support. That doesn’t happen with many men. He really cared, and I don’t think our relationship would have lasted if not for how he inherently felt about my world and how much he respected it. I did not have to make compromises to keep my man happy, and that was the best thing about him.”
Things were totally different on Ranveer’s end, however, as he revealed he was starstruck by the stunning actress. The pair first crossed paths at the Zee Cine Awards in Macau and Ranveer said that it was love at first sight for him. The blushing actor jokes that when he first met Deepika, he almost fell flat.
The Big Fat Indian Wedding(s)
ranveersingh / Instagram
Two of Bollywood’s biggest actors getting married would be a big deal, right? Of course, the pair had to ring in their nuptials in extremely lavish ceremonies. The couple celebrated their nuptials on not two occasions, but three. The pair tied the knot on Italy’s picturesque Lake Como on November 14th and 15th. The receptions took place at The Leela Palace in Bengaluru and The Grand Hyatt, Mumbai on the 21st and 28th of November respectively. For their wedding reception in Bengaluru, Deepika wore a gorgeous saree that was gifted to her by her mother, and Ranveer wore a Rohit Bal designed ensemble.
The stunning Bollywood couple has starred in three box-office hits together. They were first paired as star-crossed lovers in Ram Leela (2013), then in Bajirao Mastani in 2015 and finally in Padmaavat (2018). They are also going to be starring with each other in the movie ‘83, which is set to be released in 2020. We can’t wait to see what this dynamic duo has in store for us and hope to see them star in many more movies together. Their sizzling on-screen chemistry clearly translated into real life as well. What do you think of the couple’s adorable moment? Let us know all of your thoughts in the comments below.

Depression, Depression: The Cancer That Is Killing Many, Slowly
What is Depression? Feeling of continuous misery, melancholy and sadness is broadly categorized as depression.
I am not a Psychologist nor do I have a degree in any type of Psychiatric field, however, I am surrounded by people from all walks of life that are suffering from Depression in some form or the other. Getting irritable, not being able to control your emotions, breaking down in any situation, not being able to face people as you would like to, getting slowly into your own shell, etc. are few of the signs that people showcase when they are depressed. There are some others who express themselves so well in public but are unable to put on that mask when they are alone. No one knows the real cause of Depression getting triggered in teenagers or adults, but, what we know is that the term exists and the symptoms are at times very hidden. We have seen big celebrities across the world who have gone through depression and come out of it OR some who have simply succumbed to it. To name a few who are known to have suffered from Depression in Tinsel town- Deepika Padukone, Manisha Koirala, Yo Yo Honey Singh, Anushka Sharma, Angelina Jolie, Lady Gaga, Late Robin Williams (our favorite comedian growing up), the handsome hunk Owen Wilson, Catherine Zeta-Jones, Princess Diana (world’s favorite Princess), and Many more …
As a child I was a tomboy and felt very content with my friends, did all the crazy things that all kids my age do, but all that changed when I moved into a highly conservative Co-Ed school. I will not name anything here, but the fact remains that I am aware that my personality became completely different as I evolved from that institution. I became a girl with an inferiority complex than someone with a fully evolved out-going personality (looking at me now, you would not feel the same, however, I have been through that phase of regret and complexity that probably everyone in their teens goes through) I was easily offended and never felt in-charge of any situation, anytime, while I was growing up. This actually dominated my personality for a majority of my life, however, the different surroundings and people as well as cities, changed that over a period of time. Today, I am a different person and pretty happy with the way life has evolved for me. Had I over-analyzed the situation at that time OR felt incompetent (though I did think that) OR gone in my cocoon, that would have been termed as Depression? Should I have taken my life in this situation? I doubt that is or will be an answer anyone wants to hear.
We all go through various types of #Depression in our lives- Mental Depression- Stuck in a marriage which is abusive or mentally and emotionally disturbing, can lead to depression. Not being able to give an opinion to your spouse or in-laws, can give way to slow depression. Not being able to cope with kids and their pressure or the anxiety of having to be perfect can also lead to depression. These are just a few of the thousand reasons that can actually trigger depression.
Postpartum depression: I have been through this and I have no idea I had it. I only realized this at a much later stage, after reading extensively about it, but the support around my family and friends was tremendous. I did not even know this term investigated, but yes it did and I went through it and CAME OUT a Winner. This is a hard reality and almost 20% women who give birth every year have #postpartum depression. It slowly creeps in and you will spend hours brooding and crying, but you need to be strong to recognize it and read well about it. If you have this form of depression, DO NOT PANIC. There is a way to treat this well and it is best to seek help. Your baby if your biggest gift, no matter what. You are a special woman who has given birth to the most miraculous gift on Nature.
Cribbing- It is quite a surprising thing, however, over a period of time I have realized that people who over crib about everything are also slowly getting sucked into depression. They see things very negatively and even if there is a positive exit they do come out with a negative side to it. They can complain about everything around them and I have, over a period of time, realized that this is also a form of depression. Why you ask? Well, if you can not see happiness in small things in life, then it will lead to a severe form of depression that will ever eat you up.
Failure: This is probably the BIGGEST form of depression plaguing and consuming teenagers more than anyone else. The fear of failure or the fear of losing or not being accepted can also lead to depression. This is probably very difficult to understand for any common person, since you have not been through it, you would not know about it. We can not ignore this form of depression as it has the highest SUICIDAL Rate across the globe. (About 800,000 people commit suicide worldwide every year, of these 135,000 (17%) are residents of India, a nation with 17.5% of world population. rates in southern and eastern states of India- Courtesy Wikipedia) The pressure that the kids of today are being subjected to, in the form of studies or extracurricular activities or peer pressure, etc. makes it difficult for some children to cope up with this and often ends in Depression. Depression can play with the mind in many forms, leading you to take the most drastic measures to end it- like suicides, drugs / drug overdose, exogenous elements and much more.
This is a plague that has taken over the world and crept in the lives of at least 1 member in every family that it is difficult to identify the normal ones from the depressed ones, at times.
How can WE (You and I) collectively Help Each other and help those with this symptom, overcome it? Most importantly, how can THOSE who suffer from this HELP THEMSELVES?
Communicating: We have all heard it before but communicating helps in every way and any way for those going through depression. It is important to try and speak with the person in anyway possible and not let the person close up. Many men, who go through this phase, often do not want to talk about their feelings and hide them deep down inside. If you notice any of the symptoms, please do talk to the person. He / She may not want to communicate at all with you, please DO NOT GIVE UP. They are not comfortable talking about and since you need to have all the PATIENCE in the world to deal with them. Please be PATIENT (even the most impious ones)
Internal Drive: Get behind the drivers wheel, before the wheel runs over you. If, as an individual, you can experiencing this phase, please speak with someone. It will help. Do not let the world smother you. Write down all your emotions and feelings in a journal. Journaling has helped a lot of individuals to become focused in life again and also sort out problems that you have. If you see yourself being drawn in the cocoon or a getting withdrawn in your shell, YOU HAVE TO FIGHT IT.
Seeking External Help: If you feel speaking to someone you know may not help or you feel too embarrassed to speak to your close ones, try talking to your best friend. If that too is not a viable option, then please do seek external help from a reputed Psychologist. Kindly understand that seeking help from a professional is not going to hurt your reputation or your standing in the society. Do not let external sources bog you down mentally to confront the most inevitable. It is good to get help before it is too late.
Exercising: Getting involved in mind exercises along with breathing techniques can help you battle depression. This will not act as a distraction but also help you connect with your inner-self without any qualms. Realizing toxins from your body will lead to lightening your mind and senses, eventually and gradually moving out of depression. Any form of physical exercise is a great way to battle any deterrent in your life.
You need to recognize these tracks in you or your loved ones before it takes them or you over. If you think there is no purpose in life, please think again. Shitty things happen in life, but let it not be that ONE single cause to Define us. WE understand it is not easy to feel what I write, however, it is an earnest appeal to everyone to make the best of this world that you have been brought into. You Do Not Want to be remembered as that HEADLINE on One Date of a Month When You Reported to NOT come out. Do not let your near ones to become one of this headline, that does not exist anymore. Strive hard to get over it and come out stronger than before.
“MORE YOU SUPPRESS, MORE YOU GET DEPRESSED”
WE ARE ALL THERE TO HELP YOU! SO COME OUT AND SPEAK BEFORE ITS TOO LATE.
Help people with Depression around YOU and DO NOT make fun of the situation, as you do not know what it is to deal with Depression.
BE STRONG

The Deepika Padukone Closet: Actress Opens Her Closet For A Cause On World Mental Health Day Chaitra Krishnan Hyderabd040-395603080 October 11, 2019
Deepika Padukone, the reigning queen of Bollywood has proved again that she isn’t just a pretty face. The actress who has always been vocal about mental health issues has taken a big moon gravity step towards supporting people suffering from them. On October 10th which is observed as World Mental Health Day, she launched a new clothing collection after the sale of which the proceedings will go in support of the cause!
She surprised her fans by breaking the news yesterday afternoon on her Instagram account. The specialty of this collection is that all the clothes are right out of Deepika’s closet. You’d notice that she has worn many of them in movies and during promotions or public appearances. The collection includes Deepika’s favorite clothing items and they are all up for sale on her website deepikapadukone.com. Named as “The Deepika Padukone Closet,” the collection includes clothes, accessories, and bags from various brands ranging from Zara to Gucci.
Most of the items on The Deepika Padukone Closet were sold out within hours of the launch of the collection. Obviously, her crazy fans were just waiting for the big news before they could prance on the website. Owning and wearing an outfit or accessory design that their favorite actress has also worn is definitely something every girl dreams of. And the best part of it is that we know that we’re indirectly helping people who are in need of it. The proceedings will go to the Live Love Laugh Foundation which is an NGO founded by Deepika herself in order to spread awareness about mental health issues and support those who are suffering from them.

“To each and every one of you, this #WorldMentalHealthDay I am delighted to announce the launch of The Deepika Padukone Closet where you can shop and own some of my most favourite pieces from my wardrobe! Visit DeepikaPadukone.com/closet, shop till you drop and don’t forget to share a picture of yourself with your purchases and tag #TheDeepikaPadukoneCloset! Lots of Love, Deepika,” she said in the post that she uploaded on her official Instagram account to announce the launch of the new collection. In the video, she also thanked her fans for their support by adding, “Thank you all for joining me on this journey to find new ways to raise awareness about mental health.”
A Journey That Began From Self

Deepika Padukone came out in the open and talked about her struggles with depression and anxiety when she was at the peak of her career. This risk was something even the biggest of the biggest celebrities would think twice before taking. In a country like India that still hasn’t accepted mental health problems the way they are supposed to be, it’s very hard even for a common man to admit that he suffers from a mental health issue. Obviously, with all the media attention and fame, it was very difficult for Deepika as well.
Years ago, in an interview with a leading news channel, Deepika had said, “I thought it was stress, so I tried to distract myself by focusing on work, and surrounding myself with people, which helped for a while. But the nagging feeling didn’t go away. My breath was shallow, I suffered from lack of concentration and I broke down often.”
She admitted that she consulted psychologists and was under medication for anxiety and depression. Deepika was shooting for Happy New Year during this time and we can imagine how much of a struggle it would have been to get up and go to work while you just want to do nothing and break down.
The Live Love Laugh Foundation

Once Deepika recovered from the mental health problems that she was suffering from, she decided to empower others who were living the hard life. For this, she founded the Live Love Laugh Foundation and has been actively helping the NGO out. The foundation helps people get quality psychiatric treatment and promote the recovery of Persons with Mental Illness (PwMIs). For this purpose, it has joined hands with The Association of People with Disability (APD). It has helped thousands of people so far and we hope that more and more organizations take up the responsibility of helping people suffering from mental health issues.

From Deepika’s story and her constant efforts to help the needy, we’re sure that she’s a superstar in all senses. Her inspiring journey will hopefully encourage more and more people to discuss, face, and heal mental issues, thereby breaking away the shackles of the taboos associated with them.
