OH BOY I need some AIR after playing Cloutchase Vol 2!!!!

Time for the customary screenshot dump! Spoilers under the cut!

But first, some spoiler-free teases to further encourage you to play the game yourself first!

Aight here we go

Hrrrrrrrrrrrrgh I started with Amino and then had to wash it down with Discord cause oof the cringe flashbacks to middle school

They really went all out on the accuracy didn't they. It just like me fr (derogatory) (inaccurate)

We need to talk about this split second of dialogue btw- I caught it just in time oh my god WHAT- they should kiss I think

I played this with a friend actually and she gave Kik a Beetlejuice voice and it was amazing. My friend did all the voices actually and I did the narration and she was great and accurate it was a real fun experience. I've never even heard of Kik before this but she HAD and knew what to do XD

THE FREAKIN WARRIOR CATS ROLEPLAY. I know EXACTLY how it feels to be dragged into a WCRP when you've never read the books or know anything about the series, more middle school trauma for you there

Amino's route was positively perfect I have no notes I am going insane I am going feral I need therapy I need a monkey onesie-

Moving on, Muffy was in Discord's route! That was so neat to see! Also the crypto ending was so funny look at this:

Ok in regards to actual Discord, I freakin love him. Again, I was playing this game with a friend, and she said his trans experience was so relatable to her. Then I spoke with another friend and he said the same thing. We all agree he's very gender looking, even tho two of us are femme XD

When we finished the Good Ending my friend said that Discord's feminine persona looked a lot more fake than initially thought now that we knew the truth, and that's honestly great character building. The maze was such an interesting way to get to know Discord better too, even if all the mythology reference were askew lol

I think both versions of Discord are incredibly cute and adorable but Masc Discord is my favorite cause he just looks so much more comfortable in his own skin if you know what I mean? Or maybe I'm just projecting idk

I've actually hit 12 photos already so idk why Tumblr wont stop me from adding more. Maybe it's different on desktop than mobile idk

Anyway I loved both routes and I wish I could gush about them more but I have a certain social experiment session in an hour (shoutout to the two people who actually read through my experiment tag) so I'll just leave it here

About twenty years ago (probably closer to nineteen), I finished my playthrough of Harvest Moon: A Wonderful Life.

This morning, I finished my (first?) playthrough of the A Wonderful Life remake.

Well before I finished, I decided I wanted to make a post talking about it, giving my general thoughts on it. And I'll probably just end up rambling. Who knows if it's at all interesting to people but. Here goes.

Being able to save and load anywhere at any time is such a game changer. Holy moly. Even though I didn't really have to do a whole lot of reloading (except where fishing requests were concerned). But it still felt very good to have.

On a related note, the remake is so transparent about its mechanics, it's amazing. I know that AnWL already had some tranparency added to it (especially wrt your kid), but just. Having as much info as the remake gives you, at all times, is nuts. Makes things so much easier to finagle around.

Likewise, thank god for automatically recording cooking recipes. It was already practically impossible to remember how to make anything in the GCN games. The fact that the Harvest Sprites gave you a new recipe every day also helped. As did telling you when your cooking skill levelled up, because the GCN games didn't tell you anything.

Characters actually sound distinct now! The thing about mediocre localizations is that you don't know what you're missing out on until you get a good localization. And wow, the amount of personality shown by having characters speak differently adds a shocking amount.

Even with all of the QOL updates... the main thing that makes me never wanna touch the GCN games again is that they're a lot less bugged. I once again blame the old localization.

(you think there's weird stuff going on in the remake. you have no idea.)

That being said, aside from being able to select your pronouns at the start of the game, the cast (including yourself) don't really do much of anything to gender you. AnWL gave me so much gender euphoria before I even knew what it was. (Not to mention the FoMT remake set the bar for being gay in a way that AWL is set up couldn't really replicate). So... who knows. Maybe I'll end up replaying it someday anyway.

Granted, I say that, but as I was typing that sentence I thought about how the event for giving your toddler a bath was broken so that you could not give him one. Instead of a Yes/No prompt the game just said "Several days later..." and then continued like you had said no. Maddening.

Nuts to it, someone just give me an annotated textdump.

After so much hemming and hawing about who to marry in the remake, I ended up just marrying Nami again. One part autistic lesb solidarity, one part her kid being so goshdang powerful. Either way, I joked about how nothing about me had changed in twenty years.

Once I got to chapter two, I started screencapping like crazy. Got almost 400 of them on my switch now. I just wanted to note everything I could about what my darling baby girl was doing throughout her life. Also my wife.

In my original playthrough, even though I tried to influence my son into either art or academics, he ended up becoming a farmer. But then again, I also didn't understand how to influence him optimally. Which sounds awful out of context. Oh well, at least his life was mostly organic.

I managed to get my daughter into academics before chapter two ended. Probably the most interesting thing that happened was how her dialogue changed. She started reciting her ABC's to herself, and mumbled about books, and said that gemstones were like puzzle peices. It was darling.

Since I've only played the entire game with Nami's child, though, I do wanna replay the game just so that I can see what a different kid is like.

Problem is, it just brings back the marriage problem. And the child career problem, because even if I marry Muffy, like hell will I raise an athlete (but I don't want scholar again... but also if they're an artist they run away from home after the game ends, which is kinda messed up).

A lot of people in the village make comments about how air conditioning isn't good for people's health. They did that in the original game too, if memory serves, but it's still weird. Is this a thing in Japan, or was the person that wrote those parts of the dialogue have a vendetta of some kind?

This is another thing that I know got changed in AnWL, but I'm still so glad that chapters are only one in-game year long. There's a special kind of pain to get to the end of the year, only to learn there's more you need to play before you see your kid get older.

Despite that, I still got a whole lot done, to the point that I spent most of the last two years just idling because I had nothing else to do. Same way I got to the endgame of the original, come to think of it.

I never bought the teddybear. I wasn't gonna do it when my daughter was a teen by the time I had the money. I'm not that dumb. Doesn't do anything but be spoopy anyhow.

I seem to remember the seed maker being instant in the GCN game. If it was, it got seriously debuffed in the remake-- you can only put up to twelve crops in at a time, and it takes 20 in-game hours for the seeds to be produced. Obviously meant to balance how absurdly high tree seeds could be sold for, but the prices were already slashed to pieces, so it was just overkill and made it hard to keep up with what crops I did or didn't have seeds for.

I genuinely hope I never have to make nine of each rare crop again. I mean, technically I never had to anyway, but I did and it was so much pain.

Cows are absurdly expensive in the remake. I guess it's to balance the fact that there's no limit on how long cows can be milked, but

here's the dirty secret

If you have a cow and a bull, they'll mate on their own without you needing to order for it. My cows in the GCN games were constantly getting pregnant. Anyone who complains about cows going dry was doing it wrong.

Sheep are significantly more affordable, though. So I ended up getting mostly those instead.

That being said, a star/brown/marble cow giving S Milk (and the latter two getting their milk processed into butter and cheese respectively) does give you more profit than golden wool does... until you get the Blessed Clippers and you start getting two bundles of wool per sheep (which is insane). But wowie are they expensive...

My new personal hell is having a dozen sheep following me around to scream at me. Did they do that in the original(s)? I never bothered with them....

I'm still sad Flora's not a marriage candidate.

As I mentioned, I was basically without anything to do by the end of the game. Which makes the infinite postgame chapter's existence kinda funny? I don't know what else I'd want to do with that, since as far as I've been able to tell nobody has new dialogue.

No really. I can't even 100% the game anymore because Van stops selling goats, I have over 5 million G, I've grown each one of every plant, caught every fish, dug up all the digsite items, and have all in-game achievements. What would I wanna keep playing for?

Also, why isn't Nina in said postgame chapter? If it's the afterlife anyway, then she should be there too, dangit!

I still don't understand why the dog is trainable.

The player's child is so adorable. I love my daughter so much, she's such a sweetheart.

Wish her self-esteem wasn't so low from chapter 3 onwards, though... another reason to see the game married to somebody else.

I am so grateful there's no friendship decay for the villagers.

What a great game.

And now, some of me rambling about my history with the series:

I don't know what drew me to the original AWL game. All I knew is that there was coverage of it in an issue of Nintendo Power, and I just kept reading and re-reading it. I had a couple friends that swore by the HM games (in particular, 64 and StHL), but beyond that I guess something about it intrigued me to the point that it became a game I really wanted. Had a plan of how I would run the farm and who I'd marry. And counted the days before I finally got it (must've been a birthday or Christmas present).

And I played through it, beginning to end. Despite my brother scorning it. Despite one of the friends that swore by HM64 thinking it was such a watered down derivative it made him laugh several times even as he tried playing it himself.

I also got the girl version when it came out. Don't remember how I afforded it, but I remember that I was too embarrassed by wanting it to let anyone know I did get it but myself. Never managed to finish it, but boy howdy did it have a lot of gender euphoria. I got to be a mom.

...I tried other HM games since. I got Magical Melody (which I recall using Action Replay to turn my player character into a girl that make perfect sense to me now but I don't know what I had been thinking at the time), but dropped it shortly after my wife started expecting.

I got both versions of HMDS (mermaid wife yes please), but only stuck with them for about two or three in-game years each.

I got Isle of Happiness, but honestly the fact that every item had decay to it stressed me to the point I couldn't play without Action Replay codes to keep everything top quality and freshness forever-- and even then the crap you gotta juggle is crazy. Played long enough to marry the Witch though, so that ruled.

I got Hero of Leaf Valley, and that one I actually stuck through to the end (including forgetting how many zeros were in fifty thousand and ended up raising up half a million G before the second year's end), but got too paralyzed with indecision on who to marry (it was mainly between Gwen and Aurelia, since I read that Alice couldn't be raised to red heart after the credits. Game seemed to have thought I had my sights set on Lyla, though).

I tried Rune Factory 4... but something about it just didn't vibe with me so I bounced early.

Every now and then, I thought about going back to A(n)WL, or maybe trying a different one. Never did, though. And Stardew or other inspired's didn't ever really grab me.

And yet I inhaled the chance to play the AWL remake when the time came. And now I've finished it. Go figure. I'm still not sure what it is about that game specifically that calls to me.

I think the amount of interactability with your kid is a big factor, though.

so as a lot of u know (about 50% of u at least) i have two main sonic ocs that i posted about a lot

Phantom (top) and Ghost (bottom)! these two were (and still are) very special to me especially phantom since she was the first oc i made when getting back into the fandom (plus she's self-shipped with Rouge... the thieves.... my ladies <3) and ghost is the persona i think i would have in the sonic universe ^-^ you can read more about them on their toyhou.se's! these two aren't related BUT im really proud of them regardless Nova is (obviously) based on my birds and the Riders games and my kind-of-hidden obsession over space. she got redesigned twice before i was happy with her design (the one im showing you), and tbh it was probably a good thing that i waited a year to do so LMFAO Roxanne was sort of a "oc im making for funsies but i got too invested" oc, and was meant to be in a trio band with two other bandmates (I've finished one so far, her name's Skylar and that right doodle went crazy on twitter when i first posted it)

these next ones are also other ones i did for funsies, so i wont put much besides little information or just their names: Nebulus the unicorn (Sonic and the Secret Rings inspired)

Nitre the ghost-cat (one i did for funsies, honestly LOVE their design still it SLAPS.) they have a zombie pomeranian friend named Candy that i've yet to design also...)

Coco the lop-eared bunny (one i did for funsies)

Both unnamed (did this as apart of that "give me 3 emojis to make an oc" trend a while back and i still liked how these came out

Twin Session || Beck&Jude

Date: Tuesday, May 16th (Late Evening)

Location: Jude’s apartment

Notes: The Derringer twins smoke up and talk about real life stuff. (TW: Drugs)

Jude and Beck were lying on the rug in the middle of Jude’s living room, lying in opposite directions. Jude was off parenting duty for the night, so the twins did something they always loved doing when they had twin time - smoking very strong herbs Jude always had in supply that were imported from Kor’Sel’Koo. They were currently in a state where pushing the coffee table aside and just lying down on the floor was a great idea. It was very comfortable on the floor. It was also always when they were on herbs that the twins got extra philosophical.

“You know what I think sometimes,” Beck spoke, exhaling some smoke. “If we get the whole incapable of committing to relationships thing from the sperm donor.” She took another puff and exhaled. “‘Cos Mum is the complete opposite.” She raised her arm up towards Jude, attempting to pass the blunt to him. With some effort, Jude managed to take it.

“Probably,” Jude agreed, bringing the blunt to his lips. “That shit is genetic.” He took a puff before continuing. “Like, I think I love Molly.”

“Wait, what?” If Beck could, she would sit up right now. But the floor was too nice. So instead she tilted her head sideways toward his head, eyes wide open.

Jude gave an inebriated grin before taking another puff. He was quiet a few seconds after exhaling the smoke.

“Yeah. She’s the Mum to my kid. I guess it’s kinda hard not to.” A pause. “But I can’t give her what she wants. The big romance. The monogamy. It’s just not me.”

“No,” Beck agreed. “It’s not you.”

Jude appreciated the honesty. “Exactly. But what I realized is that I’m not giving her what she wants because I love her. Not because it’s what’s easy for me. How fucked up is that?”

“Pretty fucked up.”

They both laughed.

“Yeah,” Jude sighed. “You know, I used to wonder if that was why the sperm donor ditched Mum. For the same reason. Because he cared about her too much and didn’t want to put her through whatever fucked up shit was going on in his head.” He took another puff and exhaled. “But, the second Cleo was born, I knew that was bullshit. You don’t abandon the people you love. You try to be there in the way that you can be. So, I’m there for Molly and Cleo as a dad.”

“Damn Jude, who knew you were such a softie?” Beck teased.

Jude tilted his head towards Beck. “You did. You know everything.” He grinned. “Just like I know you’re also a softie.”

“Oh -” Beck reached up to give him a light smack on the nose. Not a precise position but it got her point across. “- fuck off!”

Jude laughed and pushed her hand out of the way. “Don’t bullshit me! We shared a womb, you know. The deal is you know everything about me the same way I know everything about you.”

There was silence for a few minutes. Then Beck sighed.

“I really don’t want to be. Feelings are extremely fucking inconvenient.”

“Oh?” Jude’s eyebrows raised slightly. It was very rare Beck ever mentioning anything about feelings. Really, the infamous crush on Daphne was the only time he heard anything like that. “Rebecca Elise Derringer, do you have a crush?”

Beck tried to smack him on the nose again, but Jude was quick enough to block it.

“What the fuck am I, twelve?” she growled. “I don’t do crushes.”

“Anymore? ‘Cos, just 'cos I feel like I’m floating right now doesn’t mean I’ve forgotten about your old crush on D-”

“Don’t you dare!” Now she sent a flurry of sloppy smacks his way. She didn’t hit anything critical, but did cause a hysterically laughing Jude.

“Okay okay! I will not mention the D-word!” Jude exclaimed. Beck stopped her smacks for now. “Do tell. Is it someone on your crew? Anyone I met at the diner? Let’s see... quite of few of them didn’t strike me as interested in women. Oh, I got it - the nice, older Vanneer woman? She seemed your type.”

“Muffy?” Beck seemed surprised he would suggest that. “I mean, okay, Muffy is hot. But no. Nobody there.” She sighed again.

“But it is someone on your crew?” Jude smirked.

“It’s not someone. I don’t even fucking know. This is why I said feelings are inconvenient!”

“Here.” Jude passed her the blunt because God knew she needed it right now. “So you have a crush on multiple someones in your crew, is what I’m gathering here.”

“Please stop saying ‘crush’.”

“This is a wilder development than me having a whole baby. You never catch feelings for anyone, let alone multiple anyones!”

“It really doesn’t matter,” Beck huffed. “Shit completely blew up with one, and shit didn’t exactly blow up with the other but it was established we weren’t on the same level of ‘feelings’.”

There was silence because Jude was in complete shock. “Hooooly shit. Alright, right now. I need the full run down of whatever the hell you’ve been up to.”

Jude was completely unprepared for the full rundown of what Beck had been up to with both Gwen and Karmel. With plenty of blunt-passing in between.

“Damn Becca, you’ve been busy.”

“You couldn’t be further from the right person to talk about this,” Beck dryly cracked.

“Well, true! But I think what you also need is another you to talk you through this.” And Jude was the only person close to another Beck. They were of course different in a lot of ways, but if the whole twin-being-one-person thing were true, then yeah. “So, asking as a You, what do you feel like you want?”

Beck put an arm over her eyes and passed the blunt to Jude.

“Fuck if I know, Jude. This is why I prefer sex. Sex is uncomplicated. It feels nice, you finish, you move on ‘til the next time.”

“True,” Jude agreed.

“And I know me. When have I ever been happy the times I tried staying in a relationship?”

“Yuh huh.”

“Sticking with one person? Forever? I don’t think I’m wired for that.”

Silence.

“God,” Beck continued. “We really did get this shit from the sperm donor.”

They both started laughing. It wasn’t exactly funny, but they were pretty high, to be fair.

“I’m going to propose a theory but you have to promise not to try and smack me again,” Jude told her.

“I’m not promising that.”

“Alright, that’s enough,” Beck snapped. This was no longer a fun conversation. “If I wanted a fucking therapy session, I’d pay a professional to do that for me. Not the damn middle school teacher who knocked someone up because he was too dense to put the rubber on.”

Jude was used to Beck getting defensive, so he wasn’t fazed. He merely smiled up at the ceiling.

“I love you, Becca. And I wouldn’t have you any other way.”

Beck didn’t really believe that. “Liar, yes you would.”

“I’m serious,” Jude assured her. “Life would be so boring without you. I won’t pretend I’m not hoping Cleo is significantly more chill than you are. But I hope she’s at least a little bit like you when you gets older.”

That was... really nice of him to say. Beck closed her eyes, feeling very tired of all the drugs.

“Yeah yeah, alright. I love you too. Galah.”

Life tipps:

Smell food when you first open it. That way you know what it's supposed to smell like when you try to figure out if it's gone bad

It's ok for opened food to smell slightly different after some time, but sour or muffy or rancid smells are not good

If you take any medication or have any kind of health condition (yes even just 'small stuff') read the medication interaction part and then illness interaction part of any meds you take. Yes even over the counter ones and supplements you get at the drug store. Also read how you're supposed to take it (f.ex. to avoid interactions with food). This is to be sure, and because a lot of doctors neglect to properly inform patients, plus it's not their main area of expertise

Put a blanket (like a fleece blanket, a quilt, your summer blanket) on your mattress if you're always cold at night and more blankets on top don't seem to fix it. You can put it under your fitted sheet so it stays put and doesn't need washing as often as your fitted sheet would

If you feel super energetic for a bit after a meal with gluten, and then have a drop where you almost feel drowsy and just don't want to move, you might have gluten intolerance (≠ celiacs)

If you read a book, and they keep on repeating their premise and recapping every single chapter, and the whole thing could frankly just be an article? They're trying to manipulate you, it's probably a scam (repetition makes things seem more plausible and stick to the brain)

If someone tells you that you shouldn't eat anything you can't pronounce, they are trying to sell you their agenda (probably "clean eating"). Running when you see a chemical term means you'll never eat a vitamin again. Same goes for calling regular average food items 'poison'

Shower without washing your hair if you have longer hair by putting it up with a clip/a shower bonnet etc. Also you are allowed to sit down in the shower, on a stool or the floor, it's fine.

If you don't want to do something (get water/food, go to the toilet, brush your teeth, etc) without your current phone activity, just take it with you

If you find yourself stuck in executive dysfunction, find out the barrier. It might be very small. It might be being unsure about one step of the process. It might be having to decide something and you haven't made the decision yet. It might be one part of the process is unpleasant sensory wise. Try to find out what it is and work around the barrier

If you hate doing dishes because the dirty dishes are gross to touch: get a dish brush on a long handle. Do them without making 'dirty dish soup' but instead by occasionally running the water when you need it in the process. Get a reusable glove. Get tongs to touch them idk. It's alright to do them differently than you were taught by people who have other priorities

Don't follow invisible rules when they make things harder for you. "But i have to cook while standing" no actually you don't, get a barstool and sit. Put your dirty clothes hamper wherever you get undressed, not in the bathroom or wherever it's 'supposed' to go. Be free, even if it "looks weird"

Do your cringy hobbies, even if you do them in secret. Don't let society control what you do in private holy shit, i learned that the hard way. Cringe is dead, draw that gay fanart. Wear cat ears. Name every one of your house plants or rocks. Sleep in your voltron/supernatural/one direction bed sheets. Get the childrens book about dinosaurs (i have one on my wishlist for my birthday)

If you get a stain on your clothes, especially if you can't change, you can try to get it out by taking a wet cloth and instead of wiping, pressing down and then lifting it up in small strokes. It helps to hold against it from the underside of the fabric

oh yeah it's really sinking in now

like on the one hand im now terrified and sad about moving away from my family. i'm going to miss muffy and unni so much especially. and after my time in the US, i know exactly what this homesickness is going to feel like. it was DEBILITATING. i was crying all the damn time initially. im crying rn honestly.

but on the other hand, i really cant stay here forever, nor do i want to. when i think about what would have happened if i got rejected, or if the company suddenly rescinded the offer, i'd be devastated. this is still definitely something i want though, im sure of that. and the unfortunate fact is that it's actually going to be a lot easier to live independently in another country than any city here.

and i feel like i'm overstaying my welcome here. i feel like i'm letting the days pass by me. since about april 2020, i've lived basically the same day over and over again. back in 2020, i was deeply grateful to be back home because 2019 had been a really tough year for me in the States, so to be in a supportive loving environment again was really good for me, even though technically it was kind of a regression. but since mid-2022, i've really felt like i've been stagnating. last year was the first year i've ever felt like Not Much happened, and not in a good way. in 2022, i changed jobs and that was a good life experience and between going to Lollapalooza and making short trips within the country, it's not like Nothing happened, but also i don't feel like i've been doing stuff at the pace i really want.

i'm terrified of how difficult this move is going to be. at least in the US, i didn't have to worry about the language barrier, and more than half my parents' cousins plus my aunt live there so there was a reliable support system. not that i actually asked them for help, but it gave me a lot of peace of mind just knowing they were there. now i won't have that at all and it's so scary. i think my time in the US is both a positive and negative here, because i have some idea of what to expect, especially in terms of my own emotional state. but also i have confidence in myself that i'll eventually be able to figure out the logistical stuff

i think the best thing to do is to just see this as an adventure. the point i was trying to make earlier is that i have been living the same day since 2020, and now very soon im going to have a bunch of days where everything is very different and i get to slowly establish a new daily routine. it's terrifying but i think im also embracing it. i just need to find a way to deal with the homesickness, i'm too close to my family and i think that's going to be the biggest thing for me to get past

Magic is intrinsic in everything alive and natural in the Melodica Street universe, kind of like a natural energy that everyone has at least a little access to. Everything from people to rocks has magic in it, and the people of this world have found ways to harness it to do things like power vehicles and create technology, typically via runes. Runes make all magic stronger, but applying them to people is often detrimental to their health. You have to get special legal permission to enhance your magic or the magic of others, and this is usually only done if someone is magically ill. 99% of people don’t mind though; most of what they would want enhanced magic for, there’s a technological equivalent somewhere they have easier access to.

Every race’s intrinsic magic presents differently, even within members of the same race. I put everyone's magic under the readmore.

POSY

Posy is 3/4ths human, 1/4th wood elven. Humans have a connection with plant life and nature that other races don’t, which usually just means that they’re strong farmers and excellent weather forecasters. Elven folk are just. Enhanced. They have sharper senses than most and their brains work twice as fast (which we’ll touch on again when we get to Prescyne). This also affects any other intrinsic magic they have. In Posy’s case, she’s able to sprout and grow small seedlings. She used to love doing it, leaving little clover flower paths in her wake as a child, but she’s not a huge fan of doing it around other people now. Hmm.

MUFFY

Muffy is also human by technicality, but she is known as a Seer. Seers are incredibly rare, and are only made when a child is conceived during a magical flash. Usually this results in miscarriage later on, but Muffy is, to put it lightly, stubborn as shit. Muffy can see spirits, not as in dead people, but as in representations of emotion and thought. Usually they just come to her as amorphous blobs that she’s learned to accept, but now she’s seeing small children and frankly, it’s new to her. Especially since two of those children look like her and her best friend.

PRESCYNE

Prescyne’s genie genetics are pretty straightforward; she has a physical feature that represents her genie element. In her case, it’s the flame on her forehead, her pyromark. Genies are one of four elements, flame, water, earth, and air. They have pyromarks, aquamarks, terramarks, and aeromarks respectively. Her dark elven genetics make things different. Not only does she have the enhanced senses and quick brain, but she also tends to… catch on fire if her emotions get high enough. She can’t burn anything down unless she wants to, but she still runs very hot, which can be a problem if she’s not careful.

TROUBLE

Trouble’s devilling nature allows her to make minor physical alterations on herself or others. Stories about devils whispering in your ear, branding or scarring you in your sleep, making you scream when you mean to whisper. These are all stories based on a devilling’s intrinsic magic. Most often, Trouble (and other devillings in Dimopolis) will alter voices for music. It’s nice to have natural auto-tune built in, especially when your group partner is an alto and needs to hit a note higher than she usually can. Trouble is trained to sing without her magic, as most devilling singers are, but she still likes using to to make her voice skip every now and then.
