Holy crap I completely forgot I attempted to download the entire Unus Annus channel right before it got deleted. I just found an old hard drive in my desk I forgot I even had, and like - dude. I have no idea how many videos are on here but it HAS to be in the triple digits, including thumbnails. This is friggin' insane.

The funny thing about Snotlout in the shows is that as one of the dragon riders he's seen as less competent.

(Altough the people in comparison are Hiccup with the last night fury in existence, the overcompetent at everything Astrid, and Fishlegs with his high knowledge of everything. So It is pretty stupid to compare them like that especially when Snotlout is flying on a freaking flaming death machine that is one of the biggest dragons as well.)

BUT the moment he is fighting against other people without Hookfang he is usually kicking ass (exceptions are like Alvin or Ryker themself) like nothing else. Be it hand on hand, with traps or improvised weapons, next to Astrid he's definitely the best fighter of the group.

No hate against Hookfang, cause I love Hookfang and Snotlout as a duo, but a lot of times they dismiss Snotlout just cause he's not as good or naturally talented at training dragons as the others (again, flying a literal monstrous nightmare). So maybe they should've just give him more time to shine without him in front of others. Cause whenever he did get this moments to shine it was usually without anyone or just one person watching.

Okay guys. Hold on. Get ready.

One aspect of Peeta's character that I feel is so overlooked/misunderstood is his identity as an artist. In the movies, we don't even really delve into it! The most we get is his painting of Rue in Catching Fire, when in the books we get so much more! And you'd think, with all that in the books, people would understand it a bit better.

But they don't!

This is absolutely zero hate to anyone that does any of these things, this is just my opinion!

When reading fics, it's a common occurrence that people will include Peeta's identity as an artist but not truly understand his art. They will give him a heavily abstract style, describing smears and splatters. To me, this reads as a person who doesn't have as much experience with the fine details of what it means to be an artist. In the books, Peeta is anything but abstract! Katniss describes how he perfectly captures images and scenes from the Games. When you layer that with his talent for hyper realistic camouflage (I will never be over that being attributed to him being a baker in the movies), you come to realize that Peeta is a painter that works in fine, realistic details. Not "sporadic splashes of color," as I've seen in some fics. (Again! No hate! I know not everyone is as deranged about this as me.)

Then that brings me to thinking about specifics. What do I think his art resembles? Well, we know he can do near photo realism. But when he's just working for himself, I think his art takes on more of a romantic style. For many reasons (including the fact that he has a romantic little heart), the first of which being this:

Just look. Look at that. You're telling me Peeta "soft like a sunset" Mellark wouldn't depict his one true love (the sky) like this.

The second reason is that romanticism itself was born in an era of revolution/social change! So not only do I think it fits him stylistically, but it fits him thematically! Look at this! This is the face of romanticism!

(Just think about him depicting his OTHER one true love like this 🤭)

In conclusion, think about Peeta's art however you want. There is no wrong interpretation! This is just my personal idea of his artistic identity.

I read a post here somewhere about Andreil saying I love you. I know Nora says they don’t say it explicitly, hell, I know there are so many different ways to say it, but I just… My feelings aside the post said that Andrew says it once.

Neil is not one to assume anything about Andrew, including his feeling for Neil. So what if Neil did know Andrew loves him, because he does. I wrote something small, I meant to expand on it for Valentines Day, but I just got distracted by life, but I suppose I’ll post it here and work on the rest later, as I did promise my bestie I’d write the full fic. Eventually. This is supposed to be toward the end of the fic end when Andrew finds out that Neil is being a dumb martyr, staying with Andrew, even when Neil thinks Andrew doesn’t love him.

Anger and frustration warred inside Andrew’s chest. That idiot.

He pushed Neil up against the wall, their faces inches apart. “I am only going to say this once, so listen closely.”

Neil blinked at him and stayed silent, not that Andrew would have waited to see if his idiot was actually paying attention. “You. Are. Everything. Do you understand me? Everything.”

Andrew took a moment to make sure that information made its way into Neil’s thick skull, then stepped back. He straightened his jacket and began to walk away, but like he is wont to do, Neil caught up with him. There was a big smile on his face. “So… You like me.”

“I hate you.”

“You like me.” Andrew was starting to regret ever talking to Neil.

“I hate you.”

“Sure.”

Instead of making Neil leave or doing something to lose this hanger on, Andrew linked his pinkie through Neil’s and let Neil start talking about some idiot in one of his classes.

About the crimes lists: the english one is the only one that lists unlicensed business, but the english speakers are not the only players with business on the island, which does imply that everyone else went after a permit/license except the english speakers
