Hello! I'm new on your blog and I was wondering if you could do a Derek Hale x reader. Where reader and Derek have a child who is learning how to talk so when the child call for reader they make kissing faces because the child always saw their dad kissing their mom and one day where the pack come to Derek's loft for whatever reason and when the child saw stiles they growl or say wolf ( because they always hear stiles say sourwolf) and when the child see Peter they just hit or try to bite Peter when he takes them in his arms. Just something domestic, a little bit chaotic and fluff please.
Of course! I tried my best with this one, but I'm not really sure how it came out, so let me know if you like it! | @@bakakara666
Snuggles & Snarles | Derek Hale x Reader
Tumblr media
Summary: The pack comes over to see your son, Eli, and things get a little chaotic.
Warnings: None! Just fluff <3
Requested: Yes | No
Tumblr media
Chaos was not an uncommon visitor in Beacon Hills. Usually, you were used to the common threat of some unknown supernatural creature trying to kill you and your friends. Luckily this time, the only chaos you had to put up with was the babbled attempts of speech from your baby boy, Eli.
The whole pack was gathered at the loft, paying extra attention to Eli. They claimed they had come to see you and Derek, but you both knew the truth. Ever since you two welcomed Eli into your home, the pack had been over almost daily. You couldn’t blame them though, your son was adorable.
Scott and Stiles were sitting on the floor, saying random words to Eli in a baby voice to get him to speak. Eli had stumbled on his feet, toddling over to you, putting his hands in the air for you to pick him up.
“Traitor,” Stiles mumbled, pouting and crossing his arms over his chest like a child. Scott smiled, admiring how much your son had loved you.
“Hi, baby.” You said softly, picking your son up in your arms. Derek kissed your cheek, causing Eli to giggle. He puckered his lips, making kissy faces at the both of you. Scott and Stiles busted out laughing, finding the whole interaction amusing. Peter even smiled a little bit. As much as a pain in the ass Peter could be, he loved you and Derek a lot, and maybe Eli just a little bit more.
Lydia walked over to the both of you sticking her arms out for Eli. He instantly leaned over, going straight into Lydia’s arms, “Aw, do you love your auntie Lyds? I think you do!” Lydia said in a high-pitched baby voice. Derek rolled his eyes playfully, Lydia was probably the biggest baby hog the world would ever see.
You looked around the loft, smiling to yourself. You loved your chaotic little family and you wouldn’t trade any of them for the world. Derek put his arms around you, pulling you into him. It was moments like these that made everything you had all gone through worth it.
Stiles sat down by Lydia on the couch, pinching Eli’s cheeks. Eli growled at him, causing Stiles to throw his hands up defensively, “He started it.” Stiles said. Eli stuck his tongue out, spitting on Stiles’ face. Stiles had a disgusted look on his face, slowly wiping away the saliva.
“Babies… disgusting.” He muttered.
“Aww, are you disgusting? I don’t think so, Stiles is just a grumpy grouch.” Lydia cooed, bouncing Eli in her arms. Stiles rolled his eyes, looking the other way.
“Yeah, don’t be such a sourwolf Stiles.” You teased, remembering all the times Stiles had said that to Derek. He narrowed his eyes at you, giving you the finger. You sent him a playful smile in return.
“Alright, I think someone wants to see their uncle Peter,” Peter said, snatching Eli out of Lydia’s arms. Lydia scoffed, getting up from her place on the couch to chase Peter down for Eli.
Eli started biting and scratching at Peter, “Looks like someone takes after their father a little too much, huh?” Peter joked, referring to the time Derek had killed Peter by slashing his throat. You shook your head, watching as Peter tried to get Eli to quit biting him.
“Exactly, he doesn’t like you. Now hand him over.” Lydia argued, attempting to take Eli back from Peter.
“He likes me better than you.” Peter scoffed, dodging Lydia’s grabby hands.
Lydia gasped, “He does not!” Lydia protested.
“Put him down and see which one of you he walks to,” Scott suggested.
“Fine,” Peter said, setting Eli down in the middle of the room. Lydia and Peter instantly began calling out for Eli, patting their hands on their knees, signaling for Eli to come to them. Eli looked around the room, slightly confused. He started running in Peter’s direction, his arms in the air.
“Yes! I told you—”
Eli ran straight past Peter and up to Derek, “Dada!” Eli said, grabbing onto his dad’s leg. Derek bent down, picking up Eli into his arms. Peter looked back, looking at the baby offended.
“Guess we know who his favorite isn’t.” Derek taunted, sending Peter a smirk.

Because we're connected

summary: the saying "everyone is always connected" proves to be more true than you wish it was.
a/n: istg when i first saw this i thought of that iron man scene where its him and the kid goes like "i'm cold" and tony goes "i know, it's because we're connected" 😭✋
Your POV:
Johnnie and you were streaming your favorite game together, laughing and joking as you both played. The atmosphere in your room was comfortable and cozy, with the warm glow of the computer screen illuminating your faces. As you continued to enjoy each other's company, you received a notification from one of your followers. It was a video link, and you couldn't help but wonder what it was. Curiosity getting the better of you, you clicked on the link.
The video started to play, and you immediately recognized the background. It was from one of Johnnie's old vlogs, back when he still did the "my digital escape" videos. You watched, feeling a mixture of amusement and nostalgia as he went about his day, visiting various game aisles and hanging out with his friends. But then, something caught your eye. There you were, standing in the background, talking to your friend about something you were both excited about, walking behind johnnie. You were wearing a black beanie, a blue hoodie, and a pair of black jeans, and you had your hair down. You were a few years younger, but it was definitely you.
Johnnie, on the other hand, looked just as you remembered him. He was wearing his usual outfit of a black long-sleeved shirt, grey sweatpants, and a pair of black converse. He was looking just as adorable as ever. As you watched the video, you could feel the warmth spreading through your chest, remembering the times you had together before you had become official. You turned to Johnnie, a huge grin spreading across your face.
"Hey, that's me!" you exclaimed, pointing to the screen. Johnnie turned his attention to the video, his eyes widening in surprise when he saw you. "Wait, that's you?!" he asked, a mixture of disbelief and amusement in his voice. You nodded, grinning from ear to ear. "Yeah, that's me and my old friend Amy. We used to come here all the time before we found our way to streaming," you explained, chuckling at the memories.
Just then, the video skipped forward, and you gasped as you saw yourself and Johnnie in the same aisle. He was oblivious to your presence, and before you knew it, he had bumped into you, sending your books flying everywhere. You spun around, your cheeks flushed with embarrassment and anger. "Oh, for fuck's sake!" you exclaimed, your voice higher-pitched than usual. "Watch where you're fucking going!"
Johnnie's eyes widened in surprise as he realized. "Oh my God, I'm so sorry! I didn't see you there!" he exclaimed, rushing over to help you pick up your books. You rolled your eyes and took them from him, your cheeks still flushed with anger. "It's fine,"
you muttered, glancing at him from the corner of your eye. "Just be more careful next time." He looked genuinely apologetic, his cheeks also now flushed with embarrassment. "I'm sorry, really." he trailed off, gesturing to the empty aisle around you both. You let out a small huff, trying to compose yourself.
"It's okay," you said, finally meeting his gaze. "I should've been paying more attention too." There was an awkward silence that hung between you for a moment.
"So, uh," Johnnie stammered, trying to find something to say. "Do you, um… want to, uh…" He trailed off, gesturing vaguely in your direction.
You felt a blush creep up onto your cheeks again. "I dunno," you said, shrugging, and left. The video clip stopped, and your eyes widened in embarrassment.
"Oh my God, that was so awkward," you laughed, shaking your head. "I can't believe I was like that." Johnnie laughed along with you, his blue eyes crinkling at the corners. "It's funny how things can change," he mused. "I mean, here we are, streaming together and all. Who would've thought?"
You looked at him, really looked at him. There was something about the way he smiled that made your heart flutter. You remembered the first time you had met him, how you had been so nervous to talk to him. But over time, you had become friends, and then more than friends. The way he would laugh at your jokes, the way he would support you through everything… it was just so special.

Any tips for new grad students? I'm about to start in the fall and I'm curious how it'll be different/hopefully better than undergrad!
Congratulations, anon!!!
Let's see... some alphabetical tips based on my own experience:
Ask for help. You'll likely have a million questions and, unfortunately, the designated people who can answer them are often crazy busy and may take a while to get back to you, or forget entirely. So don't be afraid to ask for help from whoever might even feasibly know the answer -- including tumblr blogs! You're off to a great start lol
Be on the lookout for advisors early. Whether you're just in need of a singular advisory for a thesis, or if you'll be putting a whole committee together, approach every new instructor with the question, "Would I want them to mentor me through my research?" in the back of your mind. Pay attention to not just their specialties and teaching methods, but who they are as a person. Do you like them? Are you comfortable with them? Do they treat you respectfully? Do they seem to have everything well in hand? I loved my advisor dearly as a person, but he was often waaaaaay behind on his work. Looking back, I would have at least considered choosing someone with better organization/time management skills.
Get good at writing emails. Can you write a succinct, professional sounding email? Great! Get comfortable doing that throughout the whole day. Feeling a little iffy? Practice over the summer. There are a lot of templates online that can help, but you'll want to ensure you're not going into grad school still writing "k thx" from your iPhone at 3:00am. (For the record, your professors may do this, the students should not lol).
Have designated, scheduled downtime. Literally if you don't plan to take a break... you won't be taking a break. Not until your body decides to take one for you, anyway. Friday nights were always my couch potato time. Absolutely no work allowed and no strenuous activity unless it was something I was legitimately excited about (so no getting pressured into outings I didn't actually want to attend). Friday nights were sacred, a time for takeout and only whatever else I felt like doing, usually TV, video games, and vegging out with my cat.
Imposter Syndrome is a BITCH. Luckily, pretty much everyone's got it to a greater or lesser extent, we all just need to acknowledge it more. You know those boards some schools have celebrating places where students have gotten in and other achievements? Yeah, we put one up for failures in our department. Literally a giant, glittery, "CONGRATS YOU DIDN'T GET IT!" board where we hung proposal rejections, grant rejections, school rejections, scholarship rejections, job rejections, and on one memorable occasion a date rejection. I highly recommend it. Nothing lessens the sting quite as much as seeing that you're a part of a sea of similar disappointments and remembering that you're all in the same, often luck-based boat.
Pick a non-academic hobby. Your mental health will thank you, trust me. Like the designated downtime, you need to be doing something that's not reading/writing/researching 24/7. Pick a hobby that in no way relates to academics or your chosen field, preferably something hands-on and creative. Grad school is when I picked up crocheting alongside knitting.
Prepare to hold down two jobs. This really only applies if you're going to be teaching while you get your degree (or if you have an outside job for the paycheck), but I was pretty blindsided by what it took to be a full-time student and a half-time instructor. I don't really have good advice beyond "Figure out your time management skills now" and "Don't pour all your energy into one or the other because the one you've neglected WILL come back to bite you in the ass," but even just being aware of how difficult it is going to be would have staved off the initial shock.
Read strategically. Perhaps this is different for someone not in the Humanities, but you will be reading a LOT in grad school. Like, an absolutely stupid amount. There simply will not be time to cover everything from title to footnotes (I know, it hurts), so get comfortable with reading abstracts, chapter summaries, skimming, and otherwise summarizing lengthy works to figure out what you should prioritize. Unless a whole article is assigned for class, figure out what you need from any given text -- or what you think you may need -- and hone in on that. You can always return to read more if you have the time.
SAVE EVERYTHING. Do not delete emails. Get copies of everything even remotely official. Print everything out. Buy yourself a couple of cheap file boxes, stick them under your bed, and keep it all just in case. What kind of things have I unexpectedly needed to dredge up weeks, months, or even years later? The printed paper with hand-written comments to justify a grade I gave. An ancient email from a committee member proving that they did in fact sign off on a certain chapter choice. A copy of the publication forms I signed for a book collection after those got lost on their end (somehow). Seriously, save everything. You'll never know when you may need proof of some communication you've had.
Take naps. That's it. That's the advice. Someone gives you shit for being "lazy" or tries to make you feel bad for "wasting" a sunny afternoon? Make them step on a Lego and then both of you take your nap outside. Naps are beautiful and sacred and life-saving. Just set a good alarm for whenever your next class/meeting is.
Work at making friends. Unlike high school or even college where you'll be spending the day with a core group of people, in graduate school (unless your school is really small) the students are a lot more spread out and there aren't as many built-in opportunities to socialize. So plan to put in more effort at connecting with others because you will want that camaraderie, both for practical help and your sanity. I didn't realize how much more I needed to do to get to know my peers until I was nearly finished my Master's. Luckily, my PhD threw me into an office with seven other grads, so I didn't have a choice about getting to know them lol
You're responsible for your own learning. You've gotten a taste of this in college, but grad school cranks it up to 11. You're an adult (not an "adult" adult like a college student) and you've committed to putting forth 2-7 additional years towards your education. The expectation is that you want to be here and will showcase the necessary effort without outside influence (unless you require accommodations, of course). Be prepared for your instructors to treat you like a peer, both when it comes to the fun stuff - intense debates about your field! - and the responsibilities they expect you to follow through on. In some ways grad school is nothing like college because you are now focused on one subject, you are working collaboratively with people who were once solely authority figures, and 95% of the work will occur outside the classroom via self-teaching. You're a professional now. Still being mentored, but well on your way to that equal standing. The sooner you realize that you are responsible for your own education and future career -- not your teachers, your parents, your BFF, your roommate, etc. -- the better.
Most importantly:

Dance With The Dragon || Daemon Targaryen x Fem!Reader Oneshot ||
Tumblr media
A/N: Hi! You don't know me, but that doesn't matter 😄 What matters is I got hooked on HotD and that crazy-but-kinda-adorable-because-of-it Daemon Targaryen madman and I couldn't focus on any of my other WIP's (yes, I write with my main blog, too) until I got this out of my head 😅 Sorry if this sucks big time, but oh well, here it is anyway!
(English is not my main language, so please don't mind any mistake you might stumble upon!)
Your head began to pound as yet another loud cheer pierce your ears, and the air reeked with the mixture of sweat, blood and horse manure, only intensifying that pounding. You despised being here, dragged by your father to another tournament for gods only know what reason it was organized. You certainly didn't bother to remember.
You damn well knew why your father always insisted to drag you and your sisters to this events, even if he never openly said it. He so much hoped that any of you would catcht the eye of some high Lord or a like as a potential for marriage. And you, as being the oldest of the three, were his highest hope for it, which only made you hate these events more.
Not being ablet to stand the noise and the smell any longer, you stand up and hasty start to leave, not paying the slightest attention to the scornful stare from your father following your every step. You just had to get away from here and all this commotion.
The more you advanced away from the tournament it was easier to breath, but you didn't stop, you kept going until you were absolutely sure that not even the slightest sound of the crowd was reaching you any longer.
Slowing down, you become aware of your surroundings and notice a stone bench a few steps away, sittuated in the shade of a tall tree. Walking to it, you sit down closing your eyes, and take a deep breath.
You knew that you can't stay her for very long, but right in this moment, no matter how short it might be, you appreciated this blissful silence around you, with nothing but gentle whistle of wind occasionaly caressing your skin.
Not even a minute later that same gentle wind carry a strong male voice your way disturbing your peace „Are you lost, my Lady?“
„Do I look lost?“ you hiss back keeping your eyes closed, hoping that who ever it was would recognize the annoyance in your voice and just leave you be.
„Are you always this impolite when someone offers help?“ he speaks again, your frustration skyrocketing realizing that this person wasn't about to leave any time soon.
„And are you always this pestering and can't understand when someone wishes to be left alone!?“ you almost yell standing up and furiously turning around, only to get your breath caught as you instantly recognize the man standing in front of you.
No other than Daemon Targaryen turned out to be the person you just raised your voice at. You've been dying for a chance to even speak to him, praying to every god known to you for him to show up at any of these boring tournaments since the first one you got dragged to. He was your silent suffering, the star of your wildest dreams, and now when your prayers have finally been answered, you end up yelling in frustration at him. How wonderful.
„I've been called many things,“ he starts to speak, his violet eyes curiously observing you „but pestering... I believe it hasn't happened till now.“
„There's first time for everything.“ you blurt out in response, instantly cursing inside for being unable to control that damn tougue of yours. And if you continue like this, you will be lucky if you leave this place alive.
To your surprise, Daemon laughs amused „You are absolutely right, can't argue there.“
Interesting you think to yourself, maybe you haven't messed up completely yet and there is still a chance to come out of this with some kind of success.
„I'm glad the Prince agrees, even though my words might of sounded a bit harsh.“ you say humbly and lower your gaze hoping to sooth the previous damage even more by doing so.
„The truth usually is harsh. But that's no reason not to say it.“ Slowly rising your head, you meet his firm gaze and he adds with a sneer smirk „Mostly.“
Unable to control yourself, again, you snort averting your look „Everyone deserve a dose of harsh truth sometimes, no matter the rank of heritage they might belong to.“
Oh for the love of it, that damn tongue of yours has really over did it this time. If there was any chance before to salvage this, it was absolutely and unquestionably ruined now.
Taking a deep breath, you boldly look back at him, ready to suffer whatever consequences for your words.  But once again, you get utmost surprised seeing his face.
There was no trace of anger or anything negative on it, not at all. Instead, his violet eyes darkened, and he was staring at you with admiration and unhindered desire in them.
„Interesting thought, Lady...“
„I- Y/N, my Prince.“ It took you a moment to find your voice, being hyptnotized by his intense stare.
„Lady Y/N.“ he smiles and bows his head in curteous nod. „And I would love to stay and hear more about it, but duty calls so, unfortunately, I must bid you farewell.“
„But ofcourse, my Prince, do not let me keep you away from more important things.“ you return the bow, barely managing to hide the sorrow out of your voice knowing your time with him has come to an end so suddenly.
„Just one more thing before I leave.“
„My Prince?“ you question back intrigued.
„I assume you are here for the tournament, am I right?“
„That is correct.“ you reply short.
„So why are you hiding here then?“ he inquires curiously.
„To be honest, my Prince, I got bored and just needed a change of scenery.“
„Ah, what a shame to hear this,“ he begins sounding dissapointed „as I was about to participate in the tournament myself, and the presence of your beauty there would be much...encouraging. “
You couldn't believe your ears! Was this really happening? Was the rogue Prince really sweet talking and thought of you as worthy and interesting enough to try and win you over? Not that you needed much of his sweet talk, you were alraedy screaming internally just from this unexpected encounter of yours.
„Oh, You are?“ you decide to play along without hesitation „Well that changes everything then.“
„It does?“
„Ofcourse it does, my Prince.“
„And how so, Lady Y/N?“ he asks genuinely interested.
You smile mischievously „The Dragon is about to enter the game, and I wouldn't want to miss that for the world.“
„In that case, you should better hurry back so you don't miss the whole show.“
By they way that he spoke and stared at you, there was no longer any doubt that he was interested in you. A lot.
„Indeed I should.“ you say, but not wanting to miss this opportunity to strenghten your chances, you speak again „But, before I leave, If it's not to bold of me, may I ask a favore from my Prince?“
„A favore?“ he repeats, and you could clearly notice curiosity in his voice.
„Oh, don't worry, it's nothing much.“ you say with a shy smile „It's just – I hope you will honor me with the promise to save a victory dance for me at the celebration later.“
„And what makes you so sure I will be victorious?“ he speak back with a laugh.
„How could I not be sure? After all, who could be more successful than the Dragon himself.“
You watch amused as his eyes sparkle, turning his intense stare to a lustful one „Be careful what you desire for, Lady Y/N. Haven't anyone warn you not to tease the dragon? They are known to be...unpredictable. And they tend to bite.“
„Oh,I'm well aware of it, my Prince.“ you say using your most charming voice and slowly begin to walk. Briefly pausing your steps beside him, your turn and lean your head slightly towards him, smile and add enticingly „In fact, I'm counting on it.“
You walk away then with satisfied smirk on your face, leaving entranced Daemon behind, feeling his hungry lustful stare following you. You might not be sure where this will lead to or how it might end, but you were absolutely certain in one thing: tonight, you will be dancing with the dragon - literally and figuratively.

Would you do a story about Steve with a fem curvy ready and they have a daddy/little relationship and she is super cuddly with him when they are in a group cause she's shy? I don't see a lot who write for little space so happy I came across your blog
You didn't specify if you wanted this to be smutty so I'll just default to fluff! It's been a bit since I wrote nonsexual little space so it's subpar in my opinion. Also Nancy is ooc.
It wasn't your first time meeting Steve's friends but it never gets any easier. He assures you it will as you get to know them better and find they're genuinely kind people. They even seem to like you!
Steve is a natural caretaker for the group and has been for some time now. But that's something everyone knows. However, few know of the truly special relationship you and Steve have. Robin and Eddie being the only two that know how you sweetly call him, "daddy."
It's one of those moments that have been building all day. Steve was paying the most attention to you knowing how shy you are. Doting and fussing over you was a normal occurrence. And so was the gentle way he would call you for all to hear, "Princess."
There was almost no chance that you wouldn't have slipped into little space with his coddling. But he, even with all his attention on you, was oblivious to your slip into it. Cuddled up on his lap trapped by his arms while a scary movie played.
Slowly you spoke less and less until you could no longer speak. Your small hand was fisted into his shirt and your face was smashed in his neck, the movie was scary. Too scary for someone so small.
Nancy spoke first and with irritation tainting her usually understanding voice, "Can you guys, please, stop making out? Maybe sit next to each other?"
And that's all it took for your plush body to begin shaking as fat tears pooled in Steve's neck. Your sniffles and soft sobs filled the already tense air. The movie's scream is cut off when someone pauses it.
Eddie is the next to speak, "Shit! Nice going, Nancy. You know Princess is sensitive so why the fuck are you starting shit?"
"I didn't mean to make her cry! I just didn't- I thought they were- and the movie-"
This shouldn't have made you cry and Steve knows this. He thinks back to how you've acted all day and it finally makes sense. He needs to take care of you and wipe your tears.
"Baby, hey- come on. Look at me." A pause and once he sees you disobeying his gentle guidance, "Don't make daddy repeat himself." Steve's voice is still gentle but there's a notable sternness that requires your obedience. Your pretty teary eyes gaze up at him as your lips pout.
"Daddy?" Johnathan whispers to no one.
"It's a thing, don't judge." Robin speaks up for the two of you and Eddie gives an affirming nod.
"Good girl, keep looking at me with those pretty doll eyes. Can you use your big girl words and tell daddy what's wrong?" His larger warm hand rubs soothing strokes down your back. And when you shake your head no he holds you tighter, "You need to breathe, princess. And when you're all calm I'll take you home for proper cuddles and we'll watch your favorite movie."
With Steve's reassuring attention and Robin giving you some fruit snacks you calm. Still in little space Steve packs your stuff up as Eddie distracts you with a story. At the door, you in Steve's strong arms his friends bid good bye.
"I don't really know what happened but I'm sorry for my part in it." Nancy promises herself to ask follow up questions later.
"We don't judge, man. Or at least I don't." Argyle takes a hit from the couch and coughs out, "Night!"
It's later, in bed with you wearing a cute little pink nighty and frilly white socks. Steve reads you a bed time story as he gently pets your head. Softly slipping into sleep under Steve's care.

thank you for that, I went down a rabbit hole and needed a level headed person to explain. JM and MY seem really close and I guess I found it more believable than other ships. I absolutely adore JK and JM and I cannot, as a new Army, understand how people cannot see their bond and try and find moments that aren’t there with others, or looks or touches or even in a behind the scenes where they say JM was moaning in Sugas room. It’s so disrespectful of all the members to do this. It grosses me out tbh.
You are weclome, and I appreciate your trust in me. That's true, Jimin and Yoongi are very close, and Jimin has sweet moments with Yoongi just like he does with Namjoon, Hobi or Jin as his other hyungs. But the reason Ymners make up and spread disrespectful lies and misinformation like that, is very clear, and it's Ymn being the side ship for Tkk which has the biggest group of shippers in the fandom. They use Ymn to complete and secure their fantasies, and in one way or another, they need to include Jimin in those fantasies.
But how did we come to this? It's kinda complicated. When you are new in the fandom as a shipper, things are a bit confusing because you are not educated enough to fact-check things, and it's difficult to see what's important as a ship moment and what's not. Unfortunately many shippers take advantage of this confusion and lack of knowledge, and manipulate the newcomers with edited, cropped and altered content or totally twisted narratives.
Every new fan has exprienced this manipulation in some level. Even I, as a Jikooker, had noticed that some of the moments I had watched in compilation videos, were cropped or taken out of context. But I never find anything that was changed in a manipulative way or made out of thin air. I'm not claiming that everything Jikookers say is true, but we can claim that when some misinformation starts to spread, it usually gets corrected and doesn't go on for a long time. Some Jikookers even go overboard with this and start to dismiss the legit moments, and that's why we have a big breed of woke Jikooker, which I don't understand why they bother calling themselves Jikooker, but their wokeness is usually the starting point for the process of leaving.
Anyways, I stopped watching YT analysis and even compilation videos after 2019 and followed everything real-time, but after a while, I realized watching original content is not the only thing you need to do. And there are two other things you need to keep in your mind:
1. Ships and being ship focused all the time, ruins your experience as a fan. If you keep being focused on who stands next to whom, who touches whom, who mentions whom, you can't enjoy the content you are consuming. I'm not saying I don't focus on my ship, because I clearly do it in a deep level, but I try to separate it from my experience as a content consumer, that's the reason I have this blog to organize my thoughts and perceptions on Jikook and it help me not to go down into that rabbit hole.
2. Details matter, but you should not get caught up in them. We pay attention to the details when we review and analyze the moments, but not every detail matters. For example, the date on Jimin's freezer screen was an important and clarifying detail in that content, but JK saying "It's been a while" is an insignificant detail. He could have said it as a mere joke, or refering to the house or maybe just two hours of separation from Jimin is a "while" in JK's dictionary, we don't know. We don't know many things, and we can't judge and analyze everything. Fighting with haters who try to debunk these insignificant details has no use and just gives them the sense of victory they are looking for.
When you try to see things as a whole and stop focusing on irrelevant and insignificant stuff, your mind starts to filter out the unimportant facts and moments and detail, and you don't get insecure or defensive when someone questions or even debunks those details. And what remains, is a collection of special, huge and undeniable facts and moments that spoke by themselves. The level of undeniablity is so high here, that the antis need to use conspiracy theories like fanservice and company force to dismiss them. And I think that's very telling.

Tumblr 101
This is an important read for anybody who is new to Tumblr and/or only likes instead of reblogs.
Tumblr media
These icons are at the bottom right corner of every post you see.
On the left is the comment option, the speech bubble. Comments are a quick way to make your thoughts known on a post without reblogging it. Comments are good for chatting with someone after they answer your ask as an alternative to spamming their ask box. Commenting + liking is NOT an alternative to reblogging.
In the middle is the reblog option, the two arrows. This is the most important thing to know about using Tumblr. Reblogging is how Tumblr functions. When you reblog something (art, fic, meme, whatever), you display it on your own blog while keeping the connection to the original poster/creator. This is how creators get their works seen! If you like something, reblog it! I cannot stress this enough!
Reblogging is not to be confused with reposting. You will see artists say to not repost their art. This means that you are not allowed to copy-paste somebody else's art and make it into your own post. This is stealing, and it hurts artists. Reposting erases all connections to the real artist and makes it seem like you made it even though you didn't. If your repost gets reblogged by people who don't know better, all of the attention will go to you instead of the actual artist. Most people get very hostile when they discover somebody reposting art, so it's a good thing that I'm teaching you now!
While we're on the topic of supporting artists, let's take a minute to talk about commissions. Art is hard work, and therefore, art is usually not free. Most artists and writers have a Ko-fi or similar way of accepting tips and donations from people who like their work and want to support them. If you want something drawn/written for you, be respectful! Find somebody who has open commissions and ask them how much it will cost to buy their time and talent. Many artists and writers also open drawing/writing requests or prompts, which are free. However, free to request does not mean free to use. If you want to save and use somebody's art, you have to pay them for it unless they say otherwise.
Finally, on the right is the like option, the heart. Likes are the most misused feature on Tumblr. Here's a little secret: likes are useless here. Liking a post is not an alternative to reblogging. Tumblr has no algorithm, so the only thing that will support your favorite artists is you reblogging their work! Likes are little extras that you give along with a reblog, or drop on somebody's post to tell them that you see it. For example, I only use likes on my friends' text posts, such as answered asks or vents, or on something that I reblog as a reminder to myself that I've seen it before (and as extra love for the creator). When I admire some art or writing, I give them a like and a reblog.
An extra warning for people who have never reblogged anything but have hundreds of likes: you will likely be blocked on sight by a lot of people. Having so many likes but no reblogs means that you look like a bot and that you are actually messing up the system. Nobody will think that you're cringe for reblogging what you like! Now is the time to start interacting for real! Be free, have fun, and reblog to your heart's content!
Tumblr media
How about the ask box? This can go by many names as customized by the user. This is a place for people to start a conversation, ask a question, or play an ask game. If somebody answers your ask and you want to keep talking, the polite thing to do is either comment or reblog it. Spamming somebody's inbox with individual sentences instead of keeping it in one post is time consuming and widely considered to be annoying.
Last but not least, your follower count. Here's another secret of Tumblr: nobody cares about your follower count! Nobody can see it except for you and it won't make you or your posts any more visible because there's no algorithm. If you want interaction, find some friends and cool artists and reblog their stuff. Very few accounts are considered to be "Tumblr famous" and frankly, you don't want that kind of attention here.
Please let me know if you have any questions! How you interact with this post is your first test so I can see that you are listening and learning! 💜

Tony Stark funding Spider-Man was a mistake. Tom Holland plays the character himself pretty well, but Spidey loses a lot of heart and soul when you give him all that tech and funding. He's meant to be a neighborhood hero, a poor kid who helps his community, and giving him the same tech and teaming him up with the rest of the Avengers just kind of... homogenizes them all?

Rick’s eyes followed, and realization dawned on his face as he connected the dots.  “I shot them, you know.” he said, “They’re dead. All of them. They’re not coming back here.” Eris didn’t look convinced. Rick offered her a shadow of a smile, a glimmer of humor that didn’t quite reach his eyes.  “What, you can't possibly be scared of a few ghosts, right?” “It's not the ghosts I'm scared of.” Eris muttered, “It’s the backup. (1) I’ve largely erred on the side of not saying this because I don’t care to rain on anyone’s parade, but since you mentioned feeling like the friendship between Tomura and Spinner can get blown out of proportion, I can think of at least one concrete reason for why that disconnect might exist. I obviously don't blame people for taking the official translations at face value, but I feel like Spinner's line about "bonding" with Tomura over games is another example of sentiments getting
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Ahhhhhh lot of good stuff here
Putting a cut for length but also people who just don't wanna see this type of response
I feel this way about a lot of peoples' interpretations of the League and their interactions. Not just Spinner and Shigaraki, but all of them. I feel like a lot of gestures get blown way out of proportion. Shigaraki's "I just want them to be able to live how they see fit" does not equal "Their happiness is my priority, and I'm going to work to create a world where they can be happy". I'm sorry but those two are not the same thing, and I haven't seen Shigaraki act in such a way either. Those two goals may point in the same direction (they don't because he's a fucking liar to his own face and so is Toga to her own face), but that kind sentiment did not suddenly mean that he is prioritizing their happiness and wellbeing above all else. If that was the case, well, they wouldn't have formed a giant ass army to take on the world at war and risk dying (which one of them did) and Spinner wouldn't be in the situation he is in now ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ .
I don't want to rain on people's parades either, but my opinions are pretty clear and have been for a while and people have had plenty of time to block/unfollow me as they see necessary. So at this point, I don't hold back (I try very hard to avoid being super negative though about any character in general). I used to hold back my not so popular (in the villain corner of the fandom) interpretations on the League up until recently. As we've gotten closer to the end, I've decided that I'm just gonna put my opinion out into the void even if many people--specifically in the little circle of blogs I occupy--don't like it. And many don't, and that's okay. My opinion doesn't change unless the manga gives me a reason to change it.
Spinner and Shigaraki--I have a lot of issues here, MAJORITY of it due to fandom hyping them up as more than they are. And look, I don't care when stuff is clearly fanon or headcanons. Posts that are meant to be taken that way are usually pretty clear about it. But these are whole analyses based off of this overblown bond/friendship that literally only Spinner seems to acknowledge/be so attached to.
I don't doubt Shigaraki views everyone in the League as a friend in some capacity. I don't doubt that at all. I don't doubt that he cares and genuinely wants them to live how they want. However, I would like for someone to show me where he pays the same type of special attention to Spinner that Spinner gives to him. Imo, Shigaraki treats them all pretty equally--Spinner included.
I didn't know that about the Japanese, and yet, I still felt this way. Assuming that someone who has a good understanding of Japanese can correct your statement, I'm gonna take your word for it since I can't say shit otherwise lol. But cool--yeah that particular line is used quite a bit. And I get it! It's fun especially if you ship the characters or just enjoy their interactions.
But I feel like people overlook the fact that Spinner's idolization and attachment is literally negative and is a challenge in his arc, not some cute uwu friendship that was just about video games (when would they have played video games in canon??? WHEN????).
Spinner decided to seriously devote himself to Shigaraki (which in itself is a weird not great thing to do) during MVA, because it looked as if Shigaraki had made progress and overcome a barrier and become this all powerful destructive god who can make dreams come true (dreams for someone who wants to lash out at least). But MVA was not any of that. MVA was Shigaraki doing exactly what AFO wanted him to do--get worse emotionally, spiral more mentally and become even more unstable, and hate himself to the point that he sees no point in thinking or hoping for change for the better. Perfect, all according to keikaku. And THAT is when Spinner was like "FUCK YEAH THIS GUY". I know Spin didn't know that, but come oN guys THE TIMING OF IT IS SO FORETELLING.
AND IT WAS. Because look now. What has turned me completely off to this dynamic is the fandom hyping it up as a pure devotion that isn't stemming from a lot of self-worth issues and negative idealization. Spinner associates Shigaraki with destruction, rage, anger, and misery. That's also what Shigaraki associates himself with, and that's exactly what AFO wants. And man, he sure got it out of both of them.
And I'd like it if people acknowledged that more for what it is, but it's just reduced down to "two gamers that AFO groomed and took advantage of". And I feel that is just super oversimplifying what actually happened. AFO didn't groom Spinner from the age of 5, he took advantage of a vulnerability he was able to pinpoint super quickly after Spinner made it painfully obvious.
I like Spinner more on his own, and I like the potential for him to face the reality that him ignoring his gut instincts in favor of that dream of destruction he associates with Shigaraki eventually led to him making things worse for Shigaraki--unintentionally. I mean he hasn't made shit hit the fan YET--but man if things aren't looking ominous as fuck right now. AFO is counting on Spinner? Oof. But the potential for drama here is exciting, and I'm ready for it.
But yeah. I agree--it's overblown imo. It has become a plot point in Shigaraki's arc in a negative way. So I feel people miss the mark when they focus on how devoted Spinner is to Shigaraki during all of this mess, because that's exactly why things look the way they do lol.

Hello! First i wanna say that your blog and your writing is soo amazing!!! I couldn't get enough reading your content!!!
And second, can i get an advise on how you blend the character's personality with yandere?
Everytime i wrote about a certain character it usually ended up as ooc and i hate it it. I couldn't pinpoint their personality and that what tick me off.
Hello to you too dear! It brings me such delight to know you enjoy my content, I can't get enough of writing for it!
More under the cut cause I wrote more than I expected to
How to blend a character's personality with yandere behavior is different to many writers. Some don't really explore the character's personality & just write them as the traditional, straight-forward (perhaps superficial is the better word to use? Idk) way yanderes are usually portrayed in media, which usually includes them being delusional, obsessive &/or possessive, or all three! With some stalking here or there. Don't get me wrong, I don't see an issue with writing yanderes like this, I've seen plenty of posts that are written like this that I absolutely love!
But if you're asking how I write yanderes, or more specifically, how I blend both character traits & yandere behavior, I try to watch/read anything that's canonical about them (sometimes multiple times, though I've sometimes had moments where I'd go off of memory) & I'd try to find traits about them that is shown to us, both good & bad, & slightly amplify this traits. To me, when I add yandere behavior to a character, I'm more so looking for patterns in a character by either manners, how they perceive themselves &/or others through a romantic & a platonic lense. A general example, if I notice a character is quite cynical, it could mean that while they might hesitation to communicate or spend time with us for long periods of time, they'll still think quite highly of us, yet so lowly of others, thinking that everyone else wants to use you for their own selfish means. Or perhaps they're the caregiver type? Maybe by amplifying this aspect of a character, it might lead to them having some form of a savior complex & it'll make them believe that you need their aid & guide 24/7, where they might not be able to focus on anything if they aren't sure you're okay & that nothing harmed you.
I'll use a few Clone High characters as examples as it's captured 85% of my attention (hope you don't mind!)
There's JFK & Cleopatra, who are both very clearly shown (atleast in the first season) as selfish individuals who view the concept of popularity & self-image as a top priority (Cleo more than JFK) & since selfishness can come from ego, which they both have, it wouldn't be a stretch for them both to be monopoly & controlling yanderes (more so Cleopatra), wanting our attention on them constantly & doing whatever they ask whenever & wherever. Though they both do show good traits about themselves like JFK genuinely caring for others like Ponce & Cleo showing some form of empathy towards Joan & it's moments like this show that they're more than one-dimensional characters (while it is technically moments & not traits, it still show another side of them in a positive light) of which we can imagine that if there were a change in our behavior, both would worry (Cleo more so because it'd make it more difficult to boss them around & JFK out of genuine care)
There's also Confucius, who reveals in ep 3 that he only wished to be viral/famous out of friendship & since we can speculate that his family doesn't pay him much attention & as he states "always forget to pack him" (in ep 7) I interpret that he probably seeks genuine companionship from anyone & wants someone to genuinely care about him. With this, I imagine that if he were to be a yandere, he'd probably have some clingy & obsessive traits, with (maybe) some wrong-idea traits along with it, viewing anything you do to him whether it be returning something back to him & simply asking him how he is, he'll instead see it as an invite to be friends.
Or maybe Topher Bus, who's clearly shown as an outcast with practically no friends (besides from Abe maybe?) & seems like a overall terrible person. Though he does seem to want to fit in, there's close to no denying that others view him as odd/weird & that his poor social skills & reserved personality only make it worse & leads to others ignoring him & him essentially using the internet as a way to cope with his loneliness. A character like this as a yandere would desire a friendship free of judgment & flaws, instead with acceptance & compassion, yet doesn't know how to get it without the possibility of weirding us out. Due to him not being a pleasant individual, I wouldn't put it past him to drive others away from you just so you have him as your only "friend" & would expect you to stick by his side despite his less admirable actions.
One way I'd say to blend yandere behavior with character personality is to use your favorite character as a starting point, as you'll most likely know & understand their traits, mannerisms & attitude the most & amplify (as much as you want) those traits. Don't worry if a character feels ooc, especially if said character has a multitude of medias, each with it's own different interpretation of the character (even if such interpretation is small) & if you feel like two or more characters are too similar in their yandere behavior, that means that you're catching onto a pattern in their demeanor!
TL;DR: I blend yandere with personality by observing & taking (mental) note of character traits (both good & bad) that I amplify in my writing. You can practice by starting with your favorite character/character that you understand well & amplify them. If you think some characters repeat, you're just catching onto a pattern in their behavior.

Hello 🚩🚩🚩 anon here.
I do NOT post about the actors on 9-1-1 and I don't view their SM accounts because I'm not interested in them and I keep my blog posts strictly about the characters on the show. Please understand this isn't a hit against anyone who does since everyone is free to view and look at whatever and whomever they choose. If that's what someone wants to do with their spare time, then more power to them but it's imperative that people keep in mind there's a HUGE difference between a fictional character and a real person.
OS is not Buck, RG is not Eddie, AB is not Athena, PK is not Bobby, JLH is not Maddie, KC is not Chimney and AH is not Hen.
It's evident that somewhere along the way, all the keyboard bullies (people who hide behind their computer screens, type unsavory messages and fixate on a celebrity like they're friends) started to believe that they should have 24/7 access to actors' and actresses' lives when in fact they shouldn't because they DON'T know them at all.
I'll get off my soapbox now and get to the point of this ask.
As I mentioned in a previous anonymous ask, ABC is in the business of making a profit. They're a national network with a CEO who has to answer to their shareholders because they're the ones who invest (shareholder) or loan (debtholder) money to them so they can make money on Wall Street via dividends (investments) or interest payments (loans).
Now on to all the "theories" that have been sent to Erica as asks.
After reading through them, it seems that anons have gone from (please note these aren't direct quotes just paraphrases):
"OMG OS hired someone to handle his SM accounts"
to
"People in this fandom are the worst because they've made him take down his IG pictures"
or
"He's protecting his mental health"
While it's possible his reason for doing it could be any one of these, the truth is ONLY OS KNOWS WHY HE CHANGED HIS IG PROFILE!
The only thing anyone other than him knows with certainty is it's been changed but no one knows the reason why except for the person who changed it.
Speculation is usually wildly unfounded and one option I haven't read about why he changed it relates to his EMPLOYER, ABC. Let's be real here for a minute because sometimes an employer's restrictions, guidelines or policies and procedures cause people to make changes to their SM accounts. It's like this in certain industries (I know it's like that in the one I'm affiliated with) so my point is, ABC may have told the actors and actresses on 9-1-1 to limit their BTS content and it could be as simple as that and nothing else.
It's possible there's no deeper reason for this other than ABC wants to control what is and isn't released so viewers can't figure out what's going to happen in the 10 episodes that will be airing starting March 14th. Also, if speculators were paying attention to the limited teaser trailers that they've released so far, it's kind of obvious they don't want anyone to know anything about the upcoming season except for the cruise ship disaster.
Additionally, AB is the only person they're currently promoting so that's something else that should be taken into consideration.
Finally, the only thing I know about OS's SM habits is the stuff I've read here on 911blr and IIRC, he does interesting things with his SM accounts all the time. Like it's been posted that he'll delete all his pictures then reupload them or he'll erase everything and start over so maybe... just maybe, he's going through one of his "I feel like doing something different with my IG account phases" and that's all it is.
Either way, NO ONE knows what happened or caused him to change it but him so please, stop posting all these wild accusations without having any real FACTS!
Thanks anon for your ask/comments on the Oliver instagram mess. Very considerate of you.

I'm currently writing a story where one of the main characters has a facial deformity, albeit one of a supernatural nature. I want to do this as sensitively as possible, and was wondering if there are any specific words I should or shouldn't use when describing him. "Deformed" or "disfigured" both seem pretty negatively loaded, but I'm not sure what I should use instead. Writing from his POV has been fine, but writing other characters' reactions to meeting him is a bit more dicey; obviously they're going to notice, but I'm keen to avoid reactions of overt shock or fear if possible. Do you have any advice for me on this? (Also, thanks for this blog - it's a really great resource)
Hello!
There is a couple of ways you could describe it! Deformed or Disfigured is used by some people to describe themselves, despite the negative sound. Some also say that they have a Facial Deformity/Disfigurement, rather than using it as an adjective to themselves as a whole. But out of these, "have a disfigurement" would be the preferred one, to me at least.
Terms like Facial Difference and Visible Difference are common, though the second one is rather vague if you do not specify that it is about the face. These sound more neutral compared to Deformed. In my personal opinion, any of those words except "deformed" would be more-or-less okay, and it will mostly depend on what your character prefers.
Regarding reactions - I do not think there is anything wrong with others noticing, that is just what usually happens when someone has a facial difference. Having other characters be curious about it, openly or not, would be realistic and depending on your character's personality he could either be annoyed by it if he does not like the attention or could be fine with others asking questions. As long as other characters are not shocked, disgusted, or scared, I think you should be fine (just to be clear - people in real life absolutely react in those ways, but that is one of the scenarios that I would prefer to be written by people who went through that. I hope that makes sense).
Most people with facial differences can and will be able to tell how someone reacts to their difference, and we definitely notice people staring. If another character spends a long time looking at him, he will probably know and it probably will be awkward when he catches them.
I do not think there is One Specific Good Way to describe a character with a facial difference but:
Different characters might pay attention to different things - there absolutely are people who genuinely do not notice that someone has a visual difference even if it is “obvious” and there are also people who will point out things that the disabled character is not even aware of (happened to me, very awkward). Most people are in-between and only notice some of the things.
You can absolutely just say that he [had no cheekbones/a large birthmark/a completely dropped eyelid/whatever] without making it into a Big Deal. Do not turn it into an overdramatized shocking reveal.
Try to do it in a way that will allow the reader to understand what you are exactly describing so they can imagine how he looks like!
I do not recommend using hyperspecific medical terms that your audience will not understand or very elaborate wording to make the difference sound "not as bad". If his eyes are completely unaligned or he does not have a nose, just say it! Try to normalize how he looks like without sugarcoating it because it is not something that needs sugarcoating, it is a very normal thing.
It is fine and encouraged to describe someone with a facial difference as handsome or attractive WITH their difference, not despite it. It is obviously not a requirement, but I do not think I have ever seen it in a book :)
Do not use any comparisons to monsters, animals (even generally positive ones) or anything else that could be dehumanizing in some way.
Sorry if the reply was rather vague, I hope it was still helpful:) Feel free to send another ask if you have a more specific question
Thank you for your ask!

Hi, I'm 🍇 anon (I'd like to be if I'm not busy), I've read a lot of your writing and love it!
But I have a question...
Are the recipients jealous of the chat?, when you send a donation and the player reads that you write "I love you so much" or "you're amazing" or comments on how the player looks, how would the recipients react?, It would be interesting to know how they would react to his possible jealousy.
(English is not my original language, so I hope it is understood)
Hello 🍇 Anon, welcome to the blog! Glad you've been loving the content. :D <3 To answer your question, yes, the vessels are totally jealous of the chat. When you really think about it, "Chat" is just an amalgamation of hundreds of people who collectively fawn over the Player. Not only this, but you actively respond to them too, thanking each individual and talking directly to the people who attend your streams. They're jealous when you even share a joke with them, so when you react to the compliments and comments on your appearance, this just makes their feelings about it worse.
For example, let's say you get a donation with the message of "I love you!" followed by a ton of emotes, and you stop moving your current vessel for a moment as you sincerely thank your viewer. ("Awww, thank you (insert viewer name), I love you too! You guys are being really kind today.") Hearing you say "I love you" to someone who isn't them, and someone who they don't even know at that, really stings.
It only gets worse with every subsequent message you read out from your chat, too; the little comments on how you're looking very cute/hot that day or how much this "chat" admires you as a person and looks up to you. It flusters you more and more the longer it goes on (which naturally only makes your chat do it more) until you're laughing and shyly thanking the entire group of them for being so sweet to you. Sometimes you even rebuke some of the statements, trying to say that you're not really all that they're saying, but your chat refuses to accept that. And so the cycle of compliments and loving donations begins again.
But the fact that you and "Chat" seem to be entranced with each other during those hours of your streaming session fills your vessels with a mixture of envy. You never had this big of a reaction when they gave you little compliments, maybe because this Chat was closer to you than they were? What did Chat have that they, your chosen vessels, didn't?
Hank usually deals with his envy by putting a little extra force and finesse behind his next kills. If he can really impress you, perhaps you wouldn't pay attention to whoever Chat was for a few minutes (and more importantly, you'd focus entirely on him again). Sanford and Deimos will grumble about it to each other since you use them both for missions, even coming up with multiple ideas on how they could get rid of its influence from you. (Not like any of them would work, since they didn't exactly know what Chat was). Doc, on the other hand, doesn't deal with Chat's disruptions a lot of the time since he isn't out with you a lot. But this just makes their interruptions a lot more impactful, since he only has so much quality time to spend with you. It really annoys them, to say the least. While you and your chat talk to each other, you remain unaware of the four grunts currently conspiring on ways to destroy any chances of Chat speaking to you again. It's a shot in the dark since they can't comprehend or impact your realm's workings, but it's worth considering. Besides, you already have them, who else's compliments would you really need?

Hello P-! Are you very busy in RL? Or is there really no news or gossip?
Hi Anon, I've got RL stuff going on and I'm also in one of my "meh" fandom moods.
I've gotten a ton of Anon Asks in the last few days but they're mostly asking me about stuff I've answered a million times (Google is your friend, my friends. Go to Google and Search P-redux or fortruthseekers (my old Tumblr account) and whatever topic you're searching for and voilà).
OR asking me about stuff I'm not interested in (I don't pay attention to David Berry or who he's dating). OR "What's your favorite episode of Outlander and why?" (Um, I've made it abundantly clear my blog is not about the show). OR making the same stupid accusations "Sam is gay and this is why..." (Even though I've posted at length all the reasons why it's clear some is NOT gay, including several people I've talked to who know Sam personally). OR "there's no way Sam and Cait never dated," (Again, I've talked exhaustively about this, including posting what several people I've talked to who know both Sam and Cait have said...in short, NO, they never hooked up). OR just yesterday "Who is Paul Camuso and what is his role in the fandom?" OMG, catch up, people.
I guess because I've been in the fandom for 8 years, people think of me as some kind fandom encyclopedia... and I am, but this encyclopedia is TIRED (and has a real life outside the fandom) and now that there's this handy, dandy thing called the INTERNET--all the info I've posted before is literally just a SEARCH away. I understand that sometimes Archives on my blog don't show all my posts, but Google usually does. Again, Search Google for P-redux or Fortruthseekers or even Purv and the topic you're looking for and it should be there.
The other TON of Asks I've gotten lately are all Karina Elle related. "Do you think Sam and Karina are engaged, married, soulmates, buying a puppy together, will he see her for her birthday in November, has she met his family?!?!?!?!?!" OMG, every speculative question under the sun and with so much energy behind it ?!??!?!?!. I'm literally waiting for someone to ask me if I know if Sam and Karina fart in front of each other. Hahahaha. Anyhooo, I'm not big into fantasy scenarios and I don't ship Sam and his significant others, I'm into reality and FACTS. Sooooo, when I get some facts again, I'll post them.
Sorry to be such a downer, but for those that are new, I'm semi fandom retired, I'm not going to be on here all day answering all my Asks. When I answer something it's because I think it's relevant, or if I have extra energy that day, I may answer something I've answered already, BUT for the most part, I only answer about 10% of what's in my Inbox. So, if your Ask doesn't get answered, it's usually because it's one of the categories I mentioned above. I like to keep my content pretty streamlined and with NEW info. If I answered every Ask, then the new or relevant info would get lost.
Again, I feel badly if I'm coming off as negative Nellie, but "meh," I'm in a mood. Love you guys though! Don't hate me too much. 😘

Since it's Work in Progress Wednesday, going to share an excerpt from a fic I'm working on based on the following prompt from @agirlcandream100.
There are around 120 anonymous Michelin restaurant inspectors in the world. They must take great pains to keep their identity a secret to prevent restaurants from marking them as a critic. Imagine a real spy getting in trouble and mistaking a restaurant critic for a fellow agent. But the critic takes their job very seriously and won't reveal themselves and so they get pulled into some kind of huge dangerous conspiracy while continuing to take notes on the quality of every restaurant they almost get shot in.
The banner is from @ao3commentoftheday (an awesome blog that you should follow!)
Fic excerpt:
The bar was ritzy and glamorous, the opposite of what Kiki normally preferred. But she knew that before she had ever stepped through the door; Touka Bergatt’s establishments were often like that, with an extra dose of unnecessary pomp. Kiki didn’t mind noisy places, but the upbeat music here made her feel ill. You wouldn’t find her here if it were not a necessity for work. At least it was lively enough that Kiki’s entrance didn’t draw much attention.
Kiki noticed him right away, in her customary scan of the bar for persons of interest. That messy head of curly hair and black leather jacket was all-too-familiar. He was seated at the bar counter, drinking what looked like gin and tonic and casually chatting with the bartender.
He had been at three of the Touka establishments that she had visited this week, including this bar. The first was a casual diner. The second, a fine dining restaurant, where she was seated close enough to remember the details of his appearance. Two times was understandable. But three times a coincidence did not make.
An agent? If he was, it wouldn’t be the first time the agency double-dipped assignments on her turf without informing her. The Bergatt mission was an important one, so it was understandable, but the fact that they kept the identities of special agents a secret from each other made it awfully hard to cooperate on joint missions.
She sighed and made a beeline for the bar counter. She needed to somehow ascertain his identity if she wanted to prevent them from accidentally interfering with each other.
The bar was so crowded, even at the counter, there were only a few open spots. So, it wasn’t too conspicuous when she sat down beside him. The unknown man, who seemed to be in his late twenties or early thirties, glanced her way, eyes lighting up in recognition.
“Oh, it’s you. A Touka fan, I take it?” There was a teasing lilt in his smooth voice.
“I could say the same of you,” Kiki raised her eyebrow, resisting the urge to scoff. She disliked Touka and everything he stood for, even if they still hadn’t found evidence to suggest nefarious activity behind his food and beverage establishments. “I’m surprised you remember me, considering we are yet to be introduced.”
“When I dine alone, I like to people watch as I wait for my food.” Her mysterious companion swirled the remnants of his gin. Then, turning back to her, he smiled, dimple showing in the side that was facing her. “You were the most interesting person in the room.”
Kiki was taken aback by the oddly sincere gaze behind the light and flirtatious tone. “Why is that?”
“Well, I enjoy the moment when people take their first bite of a dish. Whether they love it or hate it, it usually shows in that first moment. But your expression didn’t change once, even though you tried several dishes.” He laughed. “I was honestly dying to know your opinion! Was it just that you found all of them painfully boring, so not worth a reaction at all?”
What an odd man. If he was an agent, the things he chose to pay attention to were quite baffling.
“If you were so curious, you could have just asked,” Kiki said drily.
“Holler at you from a random table? Now that would be highly improper. I would never ruin someone’s meal like that. Although, I suppose you didn’t need help with that.”
“I did like my meal that day, actually. I’m not picky about food.”
“That’s interesting. Now, why would someone who’s not picky about food choose such a pretentious overpriced place, hmm?” The man’s eyes took on a gleam. Kiki didn’t know what sort of conclusion he came to, but he shifted gears to offer her his hand. “I’m Kisuke, by the way.”
“I’m Carla,” Kiki shook it, picking her usual alias in Wilant.
Kiki ordered a long island iced tea and tried to subtly ascertain whether Kisuke could possibly be a fellow agent, but it proved difficult. He answered questions breezily in a way that made you think you learned something about him, but in reality you learned nothing at all. Well, no matter. If he wasn’t going to cooperate, she wouldn’t waste her time. She had a job to do.
Notes: That's all for now, but I'll upload to AO3 when I have more parts prewritten! In the meantime, you can check out my other HisaKiki fics xD.

What do you for self care when you come across ableism online?
To be honest, my go-to seems to be walking away from the ableism and directing my attention elsewhere. An off joke or two won't immediately get me to stop watching a YouTuber but if it seems like a thing, I'm just gonna find someone else to watch.
If it's a social media post and someone has said something ableist I'll ask myself a few questions:
-Do I have the energy/time to pay attention to this?
-Is this a case of innocent ignorance of disability issues, or is this person trying to be hurtful?
-Is the person going to read what I said or will it be lost in the comments?
-Are others likely to dog-pile on me for speaking up?
-Do I know this person in my personal life and will I have to interact with them much?
I don't want to interact with a post that will only hurt me in return. But just because I walk away from that post doesn't mean I won't still feel negatively about it. My usual go-to then is to rant about it to a friend or my mum. I might also make a post on one of my blogs addressing the issue so that I can get the feelings out and so that someone who is open-minded but not aware of that specific type of ableism has a chance to learn from someone else's mistakes.
If I know the person in my daily life, it might change whether or not I interact with them. For example, if they have some kind of power over me because of employment/schooling, I'm not touching that with a ten foot pole unless I am certain it is safe for me and that they want to change for the better. If it's someone in my friend group or a classmate/coworker, then it depends on whether it's ignorance or intentional. If it's ignorance then I can explain my stance on the subject. If it's intentional I am just going to interact with that person less.
This method of "avoidance" probably stemmed from my experience watching Facebook get increasingly polarized in 2016-2017 and the negatively every post saturated me with, because I just left the platform altogether.
And my stance seems a little odd for someone running a blog about writing blind characters better and addressing certain forms of ableism, but the thing is that it's not actually my job to teach anyone, it's my hobby. I like talking about my experiences and my research. If this hobby stops bringing me joy, I'll step away and let the blog rest.
Oh, I haven't brought up anons yet. If I get negative or hateful anons in bad faith, I never respond. I delete the thing so that I never have to look at it again or be reminded and I put my time into answering someone who was polite to me (assuming I have both spoons and an answer for them).
The negative feelings after seeing a post can linger and pop up later in the future, my method of redirecting my attention doesn't always work, especially if my mental health has been in a bad spot recently, but it's the most successful method I've found thus far.
