tbh i don’t know if they’ll ever top ogerpon. first they start by hyping up The Ogre as this terrifying monster in the lore. then you get the stark contrast of the real ogre being a tiny leaf creature looking like (☆w☆). then add on it having a sad backstory. then add on it having at least three confirmed kills. then add on it being the subject of a custody battle following our divorce. then add on it being canonically a girl. no one else is doing it like her

Spitballs another ref complete, soma!! She is the one I ship mainly with fang in Regular undertale setting and in her Canon og setting with Makoto. Shes just a lovely lil siren out to have a good time :D and she love her hubband and wife allot.

About soma below!

- she's a fire demon/siren hybrid. She's not meant to look like that for a siren. So she's considered "ugly" to siren standards and thata why her had is broken, sirens tried to bash her head when she was a baby to kill her, thinking she was a bad omen.

- she can turn ablaze like fire, and spit oil like ink that increases the intensity of it to a point that she can make fire happen underwater and it is difficult to put out. If she inks, and sets it ablaze. Consider that an explosion waiting to happen.

- Soma doesn't like using her fire powers as they hurt her allot due to her sensitive skin, her hybrid powers sadly are not stable.

- she used to have horns! But those opened cracks on her cranium are the result of them being gone :,)

- her father is the king of firedemons, and she has no idea what that even means LMAO

-Soma was raised by Orca sirens, hence her mimicing their colors. She can click and whistle like an Orca and dolphin and does this frequently to lure dolphins to kill and eat them.

- she is extremely aggressive to male sirens and prefers they stay away due to past experiences, unless they show an ounce of kindness to her. She will take that as mate worthy and try to court with them (the mistake fang did.). However she has a immense curiosity of the land beasts and humans, finding them very interesting.

-Soma is really clingy and sweet once she's out of her shell. She does like making friends and will do her best to learn their mannerisms to not make them uncomfortable! She knows her customs are different to those on land.

-her tentacles can shift to legs when she's on land, she's a little wobbly but it works PFNG

-Soma has a beak like teeth and three tongues. Her venom is similar to that of a blue ringed octopus but multiplied to her size, she can take down even the largest sirens with it and tear their throats or stomachs open with her mouth. She's genuinly horrifying and WILL make example of someone that tries to hurt her partners or babies

-Soma has two babies with makoto and fang! But in undertale au, it's only one baby with fang.

-in undertale au, soma is simply a siren monster that lives in the surface, most stories where she meets folks is because they either went to the surface or she accidentally fell to the underground through a stream that led her there.

Can dementia be prevented?

Reducing the risk of it yeah, w a healthy lifestyle. Preventing it no. The first patient I saw w the specific case of dementia I’m studying is a literal heart surgeon 💀 not the average bear at all. Big brain & healthy (according to his wife) & yet started showing symptoms over a course of 6 years.

It’s so fucking scary what dementia does to you. It’s far from just being cognitive stuff/memory loss. Your behavior changes, your cognitive skills are impaired, your motor skills take a hit. The heart surgeon I’m talking about is struggling w mouth function rn, bc his muscles are atrophying as a direct result of his dementia. He legit went from operating cardiovascular surgeries last October to now not being able to speak. It’s different from case to case, but when it’s aggressive it’s fucking aggressive. The neurologist I’m shadowing was talking about how she doubted if he’d “still be here within the year” and I wanted to throw up bc what do you mean if he’ll still be here!!

The caregiver’s burden is real #They don’t have kids either so idk what she’ll do when/if he passes away #And that was the first case that I saw too. Just one. I adored Cassandra before but now? NOW?!Knowing now that Cassandra’s future has been prioritized since the ripe age of SIX YEARS OLD is insane. Every new thing I learn about her makes me love her even more.

She was robbed of a normal childhood. Which, is acceptable in some regards, like being more worldly and cultured rather than getting a regular education. However, I know damn WELL Alcina (wether intentional or not❤️) put too much pressure on Cassandra for the sake of “reaching her full potential” to the point where growing up she internalized her image as quite literally the only thing that mattered.

Her going hysterical and downright INSANE by the end of her bad route is literally so perfect.

This is her destiny. She would stop at nothing to see it become a reality. She’s worked too hard. This won’t go to waste. SHE won’t be a waste.

Also her traveling around as a child really makes you think about how much Cass must actually appreciate Elena’s friendship. Someone who has remained in her life despite any amount of flirting and shenanigans. Whereas Cass probably has a hard time maintaining any friendship since she could never stay in one place for long :((( Children need stability in order to learn how to make lasting relationships and I don’t think Cass ever really got that beyond being with her sisters.

She’s just a special lil star🥺🌟

Why?

Because when I came into G/t I genuinely felt an emptiness for the kind of thing that my heart craved. I wanted to find a genuinely Giant woman who was big and strong, loud and proud, a big dork and the absolutely purest of sweethearts. I dumped everything that brought me joy in life—both platonically and romantically—into a character and just made her so self-indulgently.
