Can the universe stop testing me?

Our propane heater in our barn, where most of our water stuff is, went out last night. Not sure if the pressure gauge is broken so was giving us a false reading (it last read 30% a couple days ago, and is still reading 30%), or if something else went wrong. Either way, we were without water as of this morning. And still don't have water now. I would really like to go a week without something happening. That would be great.
