#I personally don’t think loki is weak

If you want to know why the Loki fandom has drifted away, just look at what Disney/Marvel did to him.
He was incredibly powerful—they made him weak and helpless.
He was smarter than everyone else—they made him a fool.
He was a prince—they made him a corporate office drone. They literally put him in a cubicle.
Loki was an alien—they made him an ordinary guy.
He was flamboyant and colorful—they put him in beige. They actually made him act as if he was excited to wear a beige uniform.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
The real Loki would never have tolerated a uniform of any sort, much less something so bland. He was never a soldier or a cog in the wheel. Loki is the piston.
Loki was a deeply wounded, angst-driven son with complex motivations—Disney made him an uncaring narcissist who suddenly sees the error of his ways (in one episode) and has a total personality swipe.
Loki was iconoclastic—they made him ordinary.
They took the most interesting and volatile character in the MCU and warped him into an Everyman role, and somehow everyone bought it. Apparently because they used the same actor with the same face—?
Really think about it. If another actor had started playing Loki for the series, they couldn’t have pulled it off. Series Loki is not the same character as Loki from Thor 1, Avengers 1, and Thor 2. He’s as different as the moviemakers in charge of the productions are. (The directors of Avengers 1 and Thor 2, Joss Whedon and Alan Taylor, simply had the grace and humility to take their cue from the original vision of Kenneth Branagh.)
If you don’t actually pay attention to Loki’s character, motivations, logical action, or his history, and you’re only interested in being entertained, I guess it doesn’t matter. This is just a superhero movie character, so who cares if they turned him inside out to conform with a simpler, less challenging archetype?
He’s their property, after all. They can use him however they want to. If they want to chew him up and spit him out as a naive, lovelorn mensch because that’s the Disney protagonist formula, they can and will. If they want to put him into a buddy-cop procedural, as if he were an ordinary human person whose shtick is a magic kit, they can.
A lot of you who are constantly defending the Loki Series are not really thinking about it. Maybe you’re just happy he has a show to his name. Maybe you don’t care; you just want more “content.” Maybe you don’t want someone spoiling your fun.
Maybe you think you’re being the loyal crowd by “defending” Loki. You’re not seeing that Disney did worse than kill him off—they unmade him. They put the God of Mischief into a blender with the Disney formula, audience response data, standard storytelling tropes, a limited range of plot lines, and a great deal of money, and out came this golem with Loki’s face on it.
You might revile me for saying all this because that’s easier than facing the truth or questioning the Powers That Be. There will always be people who can’t tolerate having their beliefs challenged.
I have seen nastiness on this hellsite toward people who question and protest what the majority accepts—but that’s just a reflection of the real world. It’s never going to work out well for those of us who see things differently and who don’t shut up about it. So, why do we keep annoying everyone with our dissenting opinions?
In my case it’s because I actually do care about Loki. I care enough to tell the unpopular truth, as I see it. Because, to me, Loki isn’t just an MCU character. He is representation.
He was a survivor of abuse and scapegoating by his own family. He was an outsider who defied convention and took on great challenges, despite everyone in his world trying to push him down. He shirked the role he was forced to play and chose to define himself instead. He saw the hate and scorn directed at him from all sides and laughed.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
He struck out on his own into the unknown—which is incredibly hard to do, even if you had been given the support to believe in yourself.
The Loki Series did get one thing right: Loki is a survivor. He’s survived misinterpretations before, and he will survive Disneyfication. Maybe the public will tolerate a warped mischaracterization of him for a while before they lose interest, but the God of Mischief prevails. Thor1 Loki will always be there, smirking triumphantly from the shadows.

A/N: This is breaking me. Have another shortish one. Personally, not the proudest of this one. It's more of a filler chapter.

The Saturday morning sunlight filtered through the curtains, it cast a glow into your room. Looking around, it felt peaceful, like the scene didn’t match how you felt. Steve’s voice, the harsh words, and then Bucky’s eyes kept replaying in your mind and you tried to focus on your weekend homework.
A soft knock on your door pulled you away from staring toward the window. “Come in,” you mumbled as you used your sleeve to wipe a stray tear from your cheek. Wanda and Peter entered, expressions filled with concern and sorrow. They didn’t say anything as they found positions on top of your bed. Peter took a seat in the bottom corner, Wanda, next to you near the headboard.
“How are you holding up?” Peter asked softly, you offered a weak smile and a quiet, “I’m fine.”
“Did you talk to Steve afterward?” Wanda questioned, you nodded in response before taking a deep breath and going into detail about what happened.
“Steve thought it was just rumored to play him up,” you explained with a sigh, recalling the conversation with him on the car ride home last night. “Thor told him that he heard Loki making jokes about me and Bucky, but, Steve didn’t believe it knowing his reputation as the biggest prankster in the school.”
“Then,” you looked over to Wanda, remembering a conversation you had with her while at school. “Sam overheard everything in the library between us,” you continued as Wanda’s expression softened. “He said he didn’t believe that at first either until he saw Bucky at the game.”
Recounting the night's events with Wanda and Peter, you told them everything that Steve had shared about Bucky and his friends. You explained that what Steve had told you created more doubts and questions in your mind. Their expressions shifted from concern to understanding as they listened, offering the occasional nod. Wanda reached out, gently squeezing your hand.
“Do you believe it?” The question hung in the air, it lingered between the three of you. After a moment, you shrugged. You didn’t know what to think anymore.
“I don’t want to, but,” your tears began again, “All I can do is think about every little detail and try to pick out what could have been a part of the game and what could have been, if anything, real.” Wanda gave you another reassuring, her gaze filled with empathy.
“Neither of us can know how difficult this is for you, but, you’re not alone, alright?” Using the hand she was already holding, Wanda pulled you into a hug. Letting you let out your tears and soaking her shoulder. “We’ve got you, Y/N,” Peter reassured as he joined the hug.
~
Monday morning arrived, the weekend had been a blur of solitude and doubt. Once Wanda and Peter left Saturday afternoon, you spent the rest of the time locked away from everyone. The thoughts swirling confused and hurt. You barely spoke to your family, withdrawing from them at meal times. They understood, leaving you be for the most part.
As you strolled through the familiar hallways, again, a weight felt like it pressed against your shoulders. You could feel his gaze on you, an invisible force daring you to break. You ignored it. The memory of his eyes flashed before yours, the feeling of remorse and something deeper, you sped your strides up desperate to be in the safety of your homeroom.
Throughout the morning, you needed help to concentrate. Your mind raced with the thoughts of, do they know? Are they in on it too? Burning yourself into your schoolwork, you tried to block out the distractions.
By lunchtime, you decided to change your routine. Instead of sitting at your usual table, you sat alone in the corner of the cafeteria. You hadn’t had much of an appetite since the football game, resulting in a sandwich turned into picked-out crumbs. The noise of the busy lunch hour faded into the background as you repeated Steve’s words in your head.
Suddenly, a shadow fell across the table, you hesitated to look up. After a moment, you saw it was Wanda and Peter beginning to sit opposite you. “Hey,” they said simultaneously.
You managed to give them a weak smile, you were grateful for their presence. “I thought, if he comes in here today then he might not see me if I’m over here,” you said quickly to explain the switch around.
“If we found you so easily, don’t you think-” Peter was cut off with a shove from Wanda. “Sorry, I’m the one who doesn’t think.” You chuckled at his attempt to make the situation better. He was right though, Bucky was vigilant, he probably knew you were sitting here before you did.
Thankfully, to your knowledge, he never stepped foot into the cafeteria that day.
~
As the final bell rang, you rushed to gather your things and meet up with Peter. Steve had a late practice that he needed to attend so you asked Peter if he wanted to take a slow walk instead of waiting. Exiting the school, stepping into the cool breeze, your mind felt calm for the first time that day.
The walk home felt longer than it was, for most of it, you and Peter talked about the latest English homework and when the best time to arrange with Wanda a study group. It felt nice to think about something other than the weekend. You enjoyed English and reading. Between the three in your little group, English was one of the highest grades for you, naturally meaning that it was your turn to host the study group.
Waving goodbye to Peter, you pushed the front door open, the weight of the was still quite heavy. As you climbed the stairs to your room, all you wanted to do was fall into your bed. It wasn’t until you closed your bedroom door that you were greeted with a scene that took you by surprise.
There, sitting on the edge of your bed, with no boots or leather jacket on, they had been placed neatly on the ottoman under your window, and that damn red Henley shirt. Bucky.
You froze momentarily, shocked at seeing him for the first time since that night. His face was more bruised than you remember it being. You couldn’t help be feel guilty.
“James,” you finally managed to breathe, his name was barely a whisper leaving your lips. He slowly stood up from your bed, you stepped back as he started to move closer to you. “Hey, Sunshine,” he replied, his voice was soft yet filled with uncertainty.
Unable to take your eyes off his, you found yourself with your back flush to the bedroom door, your voice began to tremble, “Don’t call me ‘Sunshine’.”

I was hanging out with a little girl who fucking coughed on me and now I'm sick...
Usually I'll drink a shot of vinegar, ginger honey, cinnamon and cayenne pepper... but i don't have access to than rn...
And in my sick/ half sleep haze I was thinking about how our diverse cast of hot men would take care of sick s/o using natural remedies
So Shiva, jataka, Buddha, (it might be the same because India idk, I guess Thai for Buddha)
Loki (Celtic/Greek idk)
Kojiro (Japanese)
I need some ror men..
medicine!
Need medicine...
Tumblr media
I hope your sickness was short!
I THINK I'M IN LOVE WITH SASAKI BECAUSE OF YOU!
RoR: How do they take care of sick s/o (Shiva, Jataka, Buddha, Loki, Sasaki Kojirō)
Shiva
Shiva has never been sick in his life, so he freaks out a bit when you get sick. Not the most helpful companion you can find. At first he asks what to do, but if you are too weak to speak, then… oh well.
Shiva doesn’t leave his realm, so he doesn't know any natural, human remedies that could help you. He keeps you warm and sits next to you the entire time. He remains vigilant. Even he pretends it’s nothing, his wives can tell he genuinely worries.
Once the worst is over and you start to look more alive, Shiva does his best to keep you in a good mood. Say a word and he will even dance for you.
What’s surprising, no matter how hard you try, you can’t infect Shiva. He basically cuddles you, feeds you, and helps you change clothes all the time, and yet all the germs seem to ignore him.
Jataka
Jataka was sick himself, he knows it all too well. As soon as he notices the first symptoms, he is very caring. Even if it’s just a flu, he doesn't downplay it.
He prepares for you an ayurvedic drink. Depending on your symptoms, he will choose the right recipe. He makes sure you drink all of it, so don’t even try to argue. It’s a waste of time, this man is too stubborn.
Jataka provides everything you need, he even brings you a book to read or he reads to you himself. He is cautious and keeps his distance, but that doesn’t stop him from being very strict: he makes sure you drink enough water and that you’re warm.
Every time he checks if you have a fever, he caresses your cheek with his finger before moving away. It's the only physical thing he can do right now to show you his affection.
Buddha
His first reaction is to tell you to lie down. It doesn't seem to bother him, because it’s just the flu. He had it when he was human, it’s not a big deal, especially if you have everything you need right under your nose. But secretly it eats him up inside, to the point where he can no longer eat sweets. So he shows up on your doorstep with his very casual attitude and starts asking questions. He checks if you’re hydrated, if you have a fever, if you need anything.
Buddha was born in present-day Nepal, so he follows ayurvedic… a little. He knows it’s not 100% effective, but he still finds some methods solid. He would make you brew containing honey, tusi leaves and lemon juice, and force you to drink it. It’s the best for the flu in his opinion.
He sits at the proper distance, eats his sweets and talks to you. He isn’t the worst companion you can get. Isn’t the best either… Do you know how good this candy is? Oh, right, you don’t, because you can’t taste *smirk* Don’t waste your pillow trying to hit him…
Loki
Let’s be honest, Loki probably isn’t the best person to take care of a sick person. At first, he acts annoyed when you announce your condition to him, but after awhile when he sees you struggling with the easiest tasks, he begins to worry. Seeing you in such weak shape makes Loki a little, a bit… soft.
From what I’ve researched, the Nords believed that sickness was an attack of malignant spirits (often ancestors) on the body. Loki obviously knows better what’s going on with you, but I wouldn’t be surprise if he mentions this fun fact to you. He was probably the one who sold people this nonsense in the first place. Let's just hope you're not hallucinating…
Loki prepares you tea with honey and entertains you with his new diabolical plans of how to mess with humans. He doesn’t even need you to be active in the conversation, but it's nice to see you smile or snort from time to time.
Loki doesn't follow any rules (i.e. keeps his distance, washes hands) and he will probably end up sick as well. Guess whose fault it is? And guess will have to take care of him? AND guess who won’t lie in bed and rest but spread germs everywhere? That’s right…
Kojirō Sasaki
He is the sweetest guy you could have by your side right now. A little clumsy, but he has got a spirit.
Considering how observant Kojirō is, he'll probably be the first to notice the symptoms. Even if you deny it, he will prepare for the possibilities ahead.
Sasaki would prepare for you hachimitsu-daikon - it’s Japanese form of cough and throat syrup, made from honey and Japanese radish. Kojirō would make it for you just like his mother did when he was a child.
Kojirō doesn’t mind missing a few days of training, you’re his priority. He is with you as long as you need and entertains you with stories from his life. He can read you something until you fall asleep.
He makes sure you’re hydrated, always brining you fresh water or preparing ginger tea called shoga-yu. He doesn’t try to make you anything else, because he is terrible at picking herbs and might accidentally poison you.

Record of Ragnarok: Ideal s/o Headcanons
Female!reader
Warning: suggestive, mention of sex
Poseidon
Poseidon will want someone that will aesthetically compliment his looks and reputation. In other words, he’d like someone that is beautiful, but not as beautiful as him. Specifically, he doesn’t really have a preference. You just need to have nice teeth, kept hair, glowing and unblemished skin, a symmetrical face, and on and on and on. Just don’t be more beautiful than him, thank you.
Personality wise, he’d like someone that is feminine, intelligent and regal.
You can be dominant and arrogant with others, just don’t be when you’re with him. It’ll tarnish his reputation as a strong and fearsome god. Also if you are a virgin he would like that. It would boost his ego to know he has the privilege to be the only one to be with you.
He wants you to be intelligent and to be well versed in history, mathematics, language, and the sciences. He’s more traditional and emphasizes more importance on book smarts than street smarts. Also, if you’re really good at debating and holding your own in an argument, he’d find it very attractive. For example, if during a godly meeting you were to stand your own on a stance against another god, he’d be so smug and in love with you. He wouldn’t show it on his face, but once you get back to the castle he would pin you against the wall and make out with you, growling under his breathe about how it was your fault for making him this way.
Not Ideal: dumb, domineering, scheming :)
More characters under the cut!
Thor
Loki sometimes badgers him about his ideal s/o. He wouldn’t answer him -much to his cousin's chagrin- but in his mind his love would have long dark hair and a nice smile.
Personality wise, he’d like someone that is strong. In any type of sense. He would prefer a more physically strong lover, but it is not a requirement since he believes he should be the one protecting you. He emphasizes the most on a strong mentality. He believes no matter how muscular or large you are, without a strong soul you are weak. He understands the hardships of being the lover of a god; they’d have to have the mental strength to overcome difficulties of being in that position.
Also, he’d prefer if you are extroverted. He struggles with talking or giving an opinion, so someone that can enhance communication will be great. Of course he’s a really observant god, but observing can take him only so far; a person that is willing to talk to him about everyday things or their problems will make him happy (though he doesn’t show it).
Not Ideal: secretive, complainer, weak-minded
Loki
I know he’s literally a shapeshifting god and he transformed into some pretty ugly things in the past, but he still has preferences in terms of looks. If you like piercings and tattoos he’d be very interested in you since he has several of his own. He also finds the grunge/goth look attractive. He loves beauty marks on his partner. But he’d hide that and tease you about them like a jerk. Also, the guy is a sucker for chubby cheeks. He’d be touching them every chance he gets. You feel like a stress ball sometimes.
He wants a partner in crime to pull pranks with and on. Someone that is creative, funny, and a tease. His family is literally full of straight faces; he wants someone that will laugh with him and talk with him about nonsensical ideas. A naturally curious person that will indulge in various ideas and hypotheticals will be perfect for him.
There needs to be something about you that is interesting. It could be intelligence, physical/mental strength, your way of thinking, how you dress, etc. Something that sets you apart from other people. If you are just a normal, everyday individual, he probably won’t give you a second glance. And no, being like the “quirky” girls on TikTok does not count.
Not Ideal: too quiet, serious, bland
Lu Bu
He’s drinking with his soldiers and they ask him in a drunk haze what his “ideal lover” would be. Lu Bu is honest and tells them he’s not interested in commiting to a relationship. He’s not going to date someone when he has the goal of being the strongest. He has one night stands to vent his frustrations and quench his boredom, but that’s the limit. He also deems it very unlikely for him to find love in this time period. Not that he really cares about those sort of things. Doesn’t really believe in true love either.
But low and behold, Lu Bu’s trustworthy strategist, Chen Gong, has spent many a night thinking about this very same topic. He’s deduced from observing his general’s personality and every day interactions that Lu Bu would be best compatible with a strong-minded, caring woman. Typical Chinese women do not clash with Lu Bu’s persona; they all run away, scared. And he’s rather bored of them, so he doesn’t care. He needs someone that can rile him up in all sorts of ways. Somehow, a woman that can make a smart remark every once in a while would be a nice change. Someone that has the courage to talk to him. His general hasn’t met a woman who sticks around after seeing his ferocity on the battlefield.
Chen Gong believes they have to be caring. Lu Bu is surrounded by bloodshed and war everyday. He feels that what his general needs the most in a partner is someone that is supportive and will let Lu Bu be vulnerable. Someone that will let Lu Bu relax in his tent after a long fought battle. Someone that will treat him like a human than worship or envy his strength.
(Chen Gong doesn’t know this, but Lu Bu finds it attractive when women eat a lot)
Not ideal (according to Chen Gong): cowardly, weak-minded, apathetic
Adam
He doesn’t care about looks. He’s the father of humanity, he loves every single type of person: tall or short, hairy or thin hair, big boobs no boobs, etc.
Ideally, Adam wants someone who has a motherly aura and has a kind and selfless heart. Someone who’s gentle and has a nurturing heart. Someone who shows gratitude and appreciation for what they are given.
Although he’s strong, he wants to be with a person that he can trust and rely on. Someone he can be vulnerable with. It will take time for him to warm up to you. He’d have to be sure that you are a good person and will confess to you once he’s gotten to know you for a long time.
Adam also likes to tease and play around sometimes behind closed doors, so he’d like it if you aren’t the most easily-offended person. He’d feel awful if he’s just lightly teasing you and you make a big deal out of it and ignore him.
Not ideal: self-centered, overreactor, untrustworthy
Sasaki
Like Lubu he strives for strength, but is more open to the idea of a relationship. When he was still alive, he’d daydream about having a lover beside him. They’d have the prettiest smile, and skin as smooth as the softened glass shards by the ocean shores. Somebody who’d accompany him on his journey, perhaps. Someone who possessed a voice of wisdom because he knows he isn’t the sharpest tool in the shed.
Although he’d occasionally feel lonely camping alone in the forest, it really wasn’t on his to-do list to find a lover. He felt that the perfect person is the one who will see him for who he is and love him for it no matter what.
They need to be independent. Somebody that wouldn’t mind a long distance relationship. His travels might take 1-2 months, or maybe 6 months. He would occasionally show up at your house unannounced with a gift from his travels. If you try convince him to stay, he’d feel really guilty and might break up with you because you deserve somebody that doesn’t stress you out. But if you’re up for it, he wouldn’t mind taking you with him!
Not ideal: dependent, stability > taking risks

My favourite Loki Quotes
Tumblr media
Love is a Dagger 🗡️
I don't wanna hurt you.i don't want a Throne.i just want you to be okay 🥺
I am Loki of Asgard, and I am burdened with glorious purpose
I assure you Brother...the Sun will Shine on us again
Trust my Rage
No one good is ever truly good and no one bad is ever truly bad
Hurts, doesn’t it. Being lied to. Being told you’re one thing and then learning it’s all a fiction.
I never wanted the throne, I only ever wanted to be your equal!
You will never be a god
The Time-Keepers have built quite the Circus and I see the Clowns are playing their parts to Perfection
You can trust one thing.I love to be right
We may lose... sometimes painfully..but we don't die ..we survive
It’s been a very long day, and I think I’ve had my fill of idiots in armored suits telling me what to do. So, if you don’t mind, this is actually your last chance. Now get out of my way.
I don’t enjoy hurting people....I don’t enjoy it. I do it because I have to, because I’ve had to…. Because it’s part of the illusion.... It’s the cruel, elaborate trick conjured by the weak to inspire fear. A desperate play for control
I know what I am....Good.... Bad.... Bit of both
Trust is for children and dogs.theres only one person you can trust
I remember a shadow, living in the shade of your greatness
I could have done it, Father....i could have done it.....For you... For all of us

Hey! I'm new to your blog, but I like your writing so far! If you take requests, what about some in-denial loki, about a crush he has. Through in a little jealousy? Meanwhile reader is just completely oblivious to all of it, just doing their job lol
sorry I don't think I nailed this one! I tried tho
Tumblr media
Loki x fem!reader: little bunny
Tumblr media
Type: I have no idea, angst (?) but not too much
Warnings: blood, biting, Loki being Loki
Tumblr media
Loki couldn’t take it anymore: you were the most annoying brat he had ever met. Always getting on his nerves with that shitty attitude of yours, wanting to “be friendly” for once, but he knew you were only doing that out of fear. You were just a human after all, living among the gods just because you were the daughter of Ares. “That idiot” thought Loki while he was walking between the corridors of the Arena. He wanted to fight you so bad, cut you with his silver tongue as usual, but the Greeks were pretty protective and it was impossible to get near his target.
You knew that, so you decided to make his job easier by trotting cheerfully at his side. Loki didn’t seem to notice at first, continuing his internal dialogue, huffing angrily a couple of times. “What are you so angry about?” you asked him, curious as ever and with the stars in your eyes. You were oblivious about the judgement of the god beside you, in fact, you admired him: his ability of escaping from difficult situations using the head, his fitghing style… he was your idol.
“There’s this little…” Loki stopped, eyes wide for a second before turning to look at you. He stayed silent for a bit and what happened after was something you’ll never forget. Your heart broke when you saw the change in his deep eyes: in their beutiful deep purple you could see a flash of pure rage dart through his pupils. You backed away immediately, fearing his next move. He smiled: you looked so little and weak at the moment, all alone and in the wolf’s den. He couldn’t let you escape now.
“Alright, I’m going, I’m sorry” you tried to say, your back already turned and the shiver down your spine cold as ever. Your dad taught you better than annoying another god, you were just a human after all, someone could have murdered you at any moment. Ready with a plan in your head (that was, run as fast as possible) you missed a certain red hair god doing an entrance.
Loki was ready to grab you by the hair, but a stronger grip grabbed his wrist. The green hair god looked up, his gaze remained unchanged, if anything it became bored. “What do you want?” he asked looking up to meet Thor, who was silently following you fearing that something like this would happened. His cousin wasn’t good company and, when he saw you dart behind him, he knew that some help would’ve come in handy. “I could ask you the same thing” Thor answered, his voice low as a thunder’s echo and the other god changed completely his facade. “Don’t worry, my dear! We were just having a little chat, right?”
When you saw him turning his eyes to you, your face paled and your hands became sweaty, but Thor didn’t need another word. Without saying anything else, he picked you up, holding you close, leaving the scene as silently as he arrived. You often asked yourself how could someone this big be so stealthy, but your mind was somewhere else now: the person who you looked up the most tried to attack you, petrifying your heart and making you feel hollow. You curled up against Thor, the heat radiating off him wasn’t enough to defrost you, but all the fear was coming back to you all at once and you needed to feel any kind of available comfort. The god of thunder hugged you a bit tighter hoping to do something good. “Thank you” you whispered, bringing your arms around his scarfed neck. He only hummed. Well, it was better than nothing.
On the other hand, Loki was watching his skin become red and swollen by the second Thor’s hand left his wrist. He remained like that for a while, his mind racing like crazy. Everytime he wanted to do something, someone was always there to stop him and he hated that so much. You were right there, in front of him, ready to be destroyed. And he let you escape. Pleasure took over him, devouring him like the fire does with dry leaves, a distorted grin reigned on his face while his tongue licked his soft lips. His laugh was terrifying, sounding more like scratched glass than a normal sound.
But it was stronger than him. The thought of the previous scene had this effect on him. The sweet, oh so sweet, scent of pure fear… he wanted to feel it again, smell it, live it.
“Be prepared, my little bunny: the big bad wolf is coming”
The next match was going to start soon and you were still in Thor’s arms. Unfortunately, he knew the god of mischief too well and you weren’t safe, he was going to find you and treat you like the predator he is. Thor couldn’t leave you alone, especially in your current state of mind: your eyes looked so sad, ready to burst in salty tears. Even if he looked stoic and scary, the god of thunder had a big heart and he was ready to protect you. “Would you look at that” said a voice from behind his throne, your head remained down. Loki felt the blood rush to his head as soon as he saw his prey with someone else, that pretty little human needed to make him feel stronger again.
On the other hand, you really wanted to do something: react to his voice, the beating of your heart starting again, the life in your eyes ready to light up the entire Arena. But you felt nothing, only sadness, so you decided not to move, just when you were playing Hide ‘n Seek with your dad. “If you don’t move, he can’t see you” you thought. Well, Loki wasn’t having that. He was really stubborn and you knew better than making him angry again, still he decided to try to be nice to lure you in his trap.
“I just came here to talk, just a few minutes, nothing more” he said, his voice as sweet as honey. Thor didn’t want to believe in this little act, hell, he felt some kind of responsability now, especially since the greeks were still mourning Poseidon’s death: he didn’t want you to feel even worse passing your time with your family. But he knew that Loki wasn’t going to give up, so he lowered himself until he reached your ear and whispered: “Give it a try, I’ll be right here”
You looked at him, still insecure. Something didn’t feel right: you studied the god of lies for so long that you knew when he was going to make a mess. Still, you nodded and went right towards him, who took your hand gently leading you out the cold room. Even if he was going to kill you just an hour ago, Loki was still important to you and you couldn’t deny the heat you felt in your cheeks when he was looking at you menacingly. What if you liked that? What if you loved to feel in danger?
You walked in the big and shady hallway, the dim light of a torch was the only thing to enlighten your figures. Gosh, he was beautiful like this, you really fell for a god like him. In a second, your body was pinned to the wall behind you, all of Loki’s weight keeping you from moving. He was looming over you, the expression from before more intimidating than everything you’ve ever seen. Your heart started beating again, while your breath became hot. “Was it funny to stay with Thor, little one?” he said slowly without breaking eye contact. Loki grinned when you refused to give him an answer, than his face changed again like an actor that forgets his script in the middle of a play.
“Where’s the fear from before? Where is it?”
“Shit” you breathed out when he grabbed your neck strong enough to choke you. You were in complete panic; maybe you were wrong all along and now you were going to die there only for being the biggest fool of all Valhalla. “There it is!” said the god so loud and happily that it was impossible for you to hide your surprise. “W-what?”
“Don’t act like you don’t like that, I know when someone is lying… I’m the god of deceit after all! Now, where were we… what happens when I do this?” Loki asked before biting down on your neck, so hard to draw a few drops of blood. “That hurts!” you nearly screamed, but stopped yourself from doing that when you realized that Thor was still ready to browl if he heard you being in any kind of pain. “Want me to do that again, little bunny?”
You jumped at the nickname. Your head was spinning so much, you didn’t know what was happening, it was all too much, but you were enjoing it so much! No, you didn’t want him to stop, but your pride was yelling at you for acting so weak. You fought against your instinct and answered a quick: “No! Go away”
He sighed. “Another lie, you really are a brat you know that?” then Loki bit down again. “Wait!” “You’re so sweet… give me more” “Loki!”
Maybe you wouldn't have called Thor this time, actually you were really hoping he wasn’t going to interrupt you two again. You were having the time of your life and nobody needed to ruin that, Loki was going to kill whoever was going to do that anyway.

The Redbridge Hunts, Chapter 27
Tumblr media
Loki and the other vampires gathered all the humans in the hall, as well as Michael and a couple of other humans that worked within the school doing admin or other work.
It wasn’t long before Chris arrived back, he nodded at Loki, letting him know that he did get the hunter that killed Jeremy.
Claire thought that Chris or Loki would speak to everyone in the hall, with some explanation as to what happened. Though when she saw Chris go into the back kitchen room, then Matt had everyone line up and one by one they went through into the kitchen room and didn’t come back out again, she was very confused.
‘What’s going on?’ Claire asked Loki, they were at the side of the hall watching.
‘Chris has the ability to hypnotise people, he can manipulate their mind enough to make them think what he wants. It’s the best way for this scenario, he will tell us later what he’s put into their minds. It’s to save them from the truth, and to save us, too. As we don’t know how all the humans would react, it would get out around the city and we’d be in big trouble. If it gets into the news, more hunters will come.’
Claire nodded in understanding. ‘Not going to lie, Chris keeps getting scarier the more you tell me. He can hypnotise people?’
Loki chuckled a little. ‘Yes… he can be quite terrifying when you think about it. Thankfully, his hypnotising doesn’t work as well on vampires, it’s very weak. Otherwise, he probably would have every vampire in the world under his command by now.’
‘Where are the students going once he does it?’ Claire asked.
‘Out the back door of the kitchen. Severus and Jessica are out there, making sure they are picked up by a guardian to take them home.’ Loki said.
Once all the humans were away home, the vampires and Claire all went to the teacher’s lounge. Matt made coffee for everyone while they calmed down and gathered their thoughts.
It was understandable for Loki to be on edge and upset, though Claire could tell there was something more bugging him.
‘Are you ok?’ She asked him quietly as they sat down together on one of the sofas.
‘I’m sorry.’ He whispered and took her hand.
Claire frowned. ‘What for? This wasn’t your fault.’
Loki glanced around, no one was listening to their conversation. ‘I should be stronger. I should have been in to protect you sooner. I should have been able to save Jeremy.’
Claire shook her head. ‘Don’t think like that. You did everything you could. If you’d come to me first before saving the students, I would’ve forced raw garlic down your throat.’
Loki smirked a little. He knew that Claire would never have forgiven him if he had abandoned the kids to go to her first.
‘I did do everything I could, which is the problem. I’m not strong enough… Like some.’ He said bitterly and glanced at Chris, who was just staring ahead at a blank wall.
‘Stop, Loki. You’re plenty strong enough. You’ve saved me numerous times, you know this. Everyone…’ Claire sighed. ‘All the kids are alive, thanks to all of you.’ Claire put her hand on his cheek.
He smiled and leaned into her touch, then turned his face to kiss her palm.
‘Who was that helping you outside?’ Jessica asked Chris, being the first to speak about what just happened.
Everyone looked at Chris for an answer. He dragged his eyes away from the nothing on the wall and looked at Jessica.
‘It was Toshi.’
‘What?’ All the vampires asked together.
‘I thought she was a hunter? You said she was after all of us.’ Loki asked with a frown.
‘Well… clearly not. She’s on our side.’ Chris huffed.
‘Wait, is she the same person that Severus has had on watch? How do you know her?’ Loki said as he looked over at Severus.
Severus just shrugged in response and said nothing. Loki pinched the bridge of his nose.
‘The question we should be asking, is the school at risk of another attack? What do we do?’ Matt said as he paced back and fore.
‘And what did you tell the humans?’ Hannibal asked Chris.
‘I’d hazard a guess that we’ve taken out most of the hunters in the area now. They probably wanted to try and get a big hit, take out a bunch of us. Though they didn’t know I’m an original, they were surprised. So, they didn’t do their homework very well… I’ve told the humans that there was a protest attack, they broke into the school, because we aren’t eco enough.’ Chris shrugged.
‘That’s the best you could come up with?’ David asked.
‘I’d like to see you hypnotise a hundred students and come up with a good, reasonable explanation.’ Chris snapped at David, who didn’t say anything further.
‘I don’t know about the rest of you, but I’m going home. I suggest you all do the same. We will be closed for at least a week, to get the school back in order.’ Chris said as he stood up and headed out of the room.
‘Chris, wait.’ Claire called and rushed after him, she caught him just outside the door, the other vampires could still hear them.
Chris stopped and turned to face her with an eyebrow up.
‘Thanks… for saving me.’ She said sincerely.
‘I was saving everyone that's part of my school, humans included.’ He said gruffly, then continued on his way.
Claire walked back into the room to everyone staring at her. ‘Come on guys, I know what like he is, but he did do good today, none of you can deny it. Surely you can see how this has affected him too? I think this is the first time he’s seemed… human, in a sense.’
Loki sighed and smiled a little as she sat back next to him, he put his arm around her. ‘You’re right, love. He is a shitty brother, but he’s an alright headmaster when it comes down to it.’
‘He did seem pretty beat up about what happened to Jeremy.’ Jessica commented.
Loki nodded in agreement. ‘I am surprised, actually. Since Jeremy is a human.’
‘He was a good man though, great teacher and Chris respected that.’ Hannibal said.
Everyone nodded in agreement.
‘I need a strong drink and my bed.’ Matt announced, everyone mumbled in agreement.
-
‘Are you ok?’ Claire asked Loki as they walked back to Loki’s place, hand in hand.
‘I will be.’ Loki said honestly as he squeezed her hand. ‘I just… I feel I’m not good enough. For you, for the students. As a vampire.’
Claire stopped walking, so did Loki. ‘Loki, please don’t beat yourself up about this. You are plenty good enough. More than good enough. No students were hurt, thanks to you and the others. The students and other teachers really look up to you, they admire you. And so do I. If I can be half as good of a teacher as you, I’ll be absolutely delighted.’
Loki smiled and embraced her, he buried his face against the top of her head and she squeezed him tightly. She always made him feel better.
‘She’s right. No students were hurt, thanks to everyone, including you.’ Came a voice that neither Loki or Claire had been expecting.
‘Are you stalking us now?’ Loki growled as he turned to look at his brother.
‘Not at all. Your stench can be smelled miles away.’ Chris smirked a little as he walked closer to them both. ‘I thought you’d like to know. When I followed the hunter that killed Jeremy, I followed him back to what looked to be a hunters base. Though it was empty, aside from him. I think we can sleep safely knowing that they put their all into attacking the school and failed.’
Loki and Claire both shared a confused look before looking back at Chris.
‘Why didn’t you tell everyone that earlier at the school?’ Claire asked before Loki had a chance to ask the same thing.
‘I didn’t want everyone’s guard to drop. We still need to be on high alert.’ Chris shrugged.
Loki ran a hand down his face and sighed. ‘Well, I guess it’s good news. Hopefully we won’t be bothered to this extreme by hunters again.’
‘We don’t know for sure, hence why I didn’t want to tell everyone the truth.’ Chris said.
‘Well… thanks for letting us know. I will definitely sleep better tonight.’ Loki said as he wrapped his arm around Claire.
Chris nodded in response, then walked off into the night.
‘Did that really just happen?’ Claire asked Loki as they continued walking.
‘It did.’ Loki chuckled. ‘He does have the school’s best interest at heart, I think. This attack will have shaken him up, too. He will be annoyed that it happened, more so about losing one of the teachers.’ Loki swallowed hard at the thought.
‘It’s still not really sunk in for me that Jeremy is gone.’ Claire said sadly.
‘Same for me.’
Claire moved in closer to Loki and wrapped her arms around him as they walked. Loki put his arm around her shoulder and enjoyed feeling her warmth next to him as they walked down his street.
When they got back to Loki’s place, of course Bat was there to greet them both with plenty of enthusiasm.
‘God I am starving.’ Loki said as his stomach growled. ‘I’ll go and’ he was cut off when his phone rang.
Loki pulled it out of his pocket to see who it was. ‘It’s dad, he’ll be wanting to know about today and checking we’re ok, no doubt. I might be a little while.’ Loki said as he ducked into the living room.
Claire scooped Bat up into her arms and headed into the kitchen.
Loki spent half an hour on the phone to his dad. He’d heard what happened of course, but wanted more information from Loki. He was surprised to hear Loki not entirely talking Chris down, saying that he was the one who saved the school.
Lucius was glad that Loki and Claire were ok, after hearing about Jeremy he’d been worried about anyone else getting hurt.
When Loki was finished with his phone call, he made his way through to the kitchen. As he walked in, his heart just exploded in pure happiness.
Claire was by the stove, cooking, the lovely smell of bolognese filled the room and made his stomach growl even more. Bat was happily munching her own supper that Claire had given her.
He crossed the room to her and wrapped his arms around her waist, laying his chin on her shoulder. ‘Mmm, smells delicious.’
‘Loki!’ Claire giggled as she jumped. ‘You’re too sneaky.’
Loki chuckled and nuzzled into her neck, he sighed deeply. A mixture of contentment yet relief after everything that had gone on today.
‘I hope you weren’t planning anything for the mince, figured I’d make some Bolognese.’ Claire said sheepishly.
‘Nope, didn’t have anything planned for it… What did I do to deserve you, though. Hmm? Cooking supper when it should’ve been my job.’
‘You’ve had a stressful day, besides I know you’re hungry. No point me waiting around while you’re on the phone, when I can make myself useful.’ Claire turned her head to the side so she could see him.
‘You’re always useful, even when doing nothing.’ Loki laughed softly. ‘Thank you for feeding Bat.’
‘That’s alright. What’s your dad saying about what happened?’
Loki sighed again. ‘Well, not much really. He’s glad that we managed to… take them all out. Though he is devastated about Jeremy, he really got along well with him. Said he will help with damage control and that it’s probably best the school is shut for a week or two.’
Claire nodded. ‘Understandable. I guess the vampire students will be pretty shaken up about it all. I think the human students got off lightly, really.’
‘Well, they will still remember what happened from Chris’ story he told them. It’s not completely erased their memory, just altered it.’ Loki explained.
‘Ahh, right. I guess it's still better than seeing their teachers rip out the throats of the hunters though.’
‘Yeah, that’s true.’ Loki cringed at the thought.
‘Why don’t you get the plates sorted, supper is almost ready.’ Claire suggested.
‘Giving me orders in my own home, how bossy.’ Loki teased and gave her ass a cheeky squeeze.
‘Someone has to be boss.’ Claire shrugged and smirked at him.

You are amazing! I just read your posts and I really enjoy them! Can I request RoR characters catching teenager!reader sneaking out to go to a party or sneaking back inside the house after the party was over?
-Loki- His hands were on his hips, a pout on his face and a glare in his eyes as he caught you trying to sneak out to a concert on a school night. You sucked your lips into your mouth, knowing that you were busted, eyes darting around, trying to find a way out of this predicament, before Loki spoke, “And why didn’t you invite me?” his words were not what you expected, shock on your face before you hesitated only slightly, “Do you…want to come with me?” he instantly has his arm looped with yours, “Frick yes!! Let’s go!” you wanted to ask why he wasn’t upset as he pulled you along before he noticed, grinning down at you, “Life’s no fun if you don’t break a few rules every now and then! If you’re with me, Brunnhilde won’t get mad at you. She’ll just be mad at me!” he laughed loudly before you took off running to the concert.
-Thor- You freeze, seeing his looming figure glaring down at you as you had tried to sneak out of your room to meet up with your friends to go to a concert, even though it was a school night and even though Brunnhilde told you no. His arms were folded under his chest, meeting your eyes as you gave him a weak smile, praying that he would show you just a bit of mercy, “Hi Thor~ umm… what are you doing here?” he pointed back to the main entrance of the house and you hung your head, heading towards the entrance. Thor came up from behind you and put his hand on your head, ruffling lightly, which made you look up at him. You heard Brunnhilde coming and he gave you a nudge back up to your room as the valkyrie saw Thor closing the front door, “Lord Thor, are you just arriving home?” you were peeking from around the corner on the second floor as he shook his head, “No, there was a sound and I went to investigate. It was just a cat.” The valkyrie nodded before heading off and you couldn’t help but grin down at Thor who gave you a small nod, but you had a gut feeling he wouldn’t cover for you a second time.
-Hades- You grinned, seeing Cerberus chowing down on the three steaks you brought as an offering for his silence so you could sneak out to a concert. The three headed dog was pleased with your offering and remained silent. You neared the gates to leave when they swung open, revealing Hades, hands folded beneath his chest, an amused grin on his lips. You freeze, a weak grin appearing on your lips as Hades approached, seeing what you did with Cerberus, chuckling, “You were smart to bribe Cerberus, but this isn’t my first rodeo, dear one. I had to raise three others before you. I know all the tricks.” You pouted only slightly, arms folded beneath your chest before he ruffled your hair, “C’mon, back inside with you. And you- don’t think you’re off the hook either!” he pointed that statement at Cerberus who instantly gave him puppy eyes, whining lightly. Hades knew the only person that Cerberus would accept bribes from was you, and you both knew it, but luckily, so did he.
-Odin- You held your shoes in one hand, holding your windowsill with the other, Loki down below you, going to follow you in. You stepped into your bedroom, finding it untouched and you motioned to Loki who started up as well. You stepped in a bit more and froze as your lamp snapped on, revealing Odin who was sitting in your arm chair, hands folded on his lamp. Your eyes were wide but you tried to smile, hoping he wasn’t too mad, “Hi~” he pointed to your bed and you immediately went over and sat down, knowing you were in trouble. He stood and went over to your window, grabbing Loki by the back of his shirt, after he had tried to hide from Odin, being tossed to your bed to sit beside you. Odin said nothing as his hands came to his hips, “I told you both, no.” your eyes widened, hearing that Loki had snuck out too and rather than doing the right thing, whisked you away for some fun instead. He bonked you with the back of his hand on the top of your head, enough to make you feel it before he did the same to Loki, only harder, “You’re a bad influence! I don’t need two of you!” you both pouted but apologized to Odin who gave a nod and ruffled the top of your heads, “Don’t do it again. I won’t be kind a second time.” You both nodded and he left your room. Loki then turned to you, pulling out his phone, “So there’s another concert on Friday, wanna go?” you grinned brightly and the two of you began to plan to go out again, but you agreed, since it wasn’t a school night, you would beg and plead with Odin to let you go until he agreed.

Today I got called a “murder apologist” (and other not so nice names) by someone who apparently does not like the fact that I love a good villain redemption arc. Let me explain a few things…
First off, welcome to my blog. We believe in the inherent goodness of humanity here. We believe in love and forgiveness and that people can change. We believe in kindness over bitterness, in hope over despair, and in reconciliation over revenge. And if that’s not your thing, maybe this isn’t the best blog for you to check out. And that’s okay. People are allowed to have different opinions.
Second… We recognize that there is a difference between fiction and reality. Just because I like a character and want to see them come around to the side of good does not mean that I approve of any or all of their actions. Murder is bad, kids. I think we can all agree on that point. I don’t support the character’s evil deeds. I support the idea of them working through the reasons they got to the point of doing them and then coming out on the other side of it as a better person who wants to try to make up for their past. I also recognize that there is a distinct difference between a fictional villain and a real-life serial killer in jail. I’m not that person who’s gonna be caught sending love letters to violent men in prison. I am, however, fascinated by them and am the kind of person who will listen to podcasts and watch documentaries that investigate the psychology of such people. I like to see what makes people do the things they do and I firmly believe that in the vast majority of cases, there is more than a little bit of nurture lacking in the “nature or nurture” cause of evil. People aren’t born evil. Learning how and why they became teaches empathy. And yes, I can empathize with them and still think they’re a terrible person. Maybe I’m naive, but I think the world can use more empathy, and I’d rather be a little too kind to someone who might not deserve it than bring more hatred into the world. Real people often don’t change their ways, but it does happen. And fiction allows a safe environment for us to play around with that idea.
Third… In the words of Wonder Woman, “It’s not about deserve.” Do I think these characters who have done awful, horrible things deserve to be redeemed? Probably not. But that’s the thing about grace and mercy…they are inherently undeserved gifts. And that doesn’t mean you don’t set boundaries. It doesn’t mean you put up with abuse. It doesn’t mean that actions don’t have legal or emotional or financial consequences and everything is automatically all rainbows and butterflies. Forgiveness isn’t a feeling. It’s a choice. It’s choosing to allow the legal system (and God, if you believe in Him) to do its work and taking yourself out of the equation in terms of offering vengeance. It’s not allowing yourself to get walked all over, but it’s also choosing not to go walking all over your enemy when you have the chance. Also…redemption isn’t something that happens overnight. It’s hard work. It’s a long process of the person slowly coming to realize that they were in the wrong, grieving deeply over the wrongs that they have done, and doing the best they can to make up for it by living a different sort of lifestyle. It’s not a single choice to do one good thing. It’s a million little choices to do the right thing instead of the easy thing over and over and over again. It’s stumbling along the way and making mistakes and getting back up and trying again. It’s learning to control anger and to accept that love and friendship and fear and heartbreak aren’t weakness. It’s learning to put others before themselves when before they only ever had to worry about looking out for Number One. To use a recent quote from the Loki series, “Raze it to the ground. That’s easy. Starting over is hard. Hope… Hope is hard.” Redemption doesn’t always mean a totally happy ending. It means becoming a better person, and there is often a lot of pain involved.
Finally, I’d like to conclude with the words I once heard from an Orthodox priest that really stuck with me and which I think are especially relevant to how I approach my thinking in both fictional villains and my actual fellow human beings… “Other sinful human beings are not the enemy. They are slaves of The Enemy. And you don’t hurt your enemy’s slaves. You try to set them free.”

Are you dense or something?? Why are you acting like Loki learnt affection from Mobius like????saving Jane and all? Loki had been overly and openly affectionate with Thor for all his life and it only became weird from Thor 1 all the creators and actors have been very vocal about it, he cared about thors friends and protected their lives. Y'all really weird and just want to make everything about your ship when it's not.
I completely agree that deep down Loki has always had empathy and affection for Thor and those he cares about! I made a post on that here where Loki risks his life to save Jane and I mentioned some of that in the tags. I think Mobius’ impact on Loki was to give him freedom—to allow Loki to express his feelings, to show his affection, to be vulnerable and open in ways that he had previously only been taught were weaknesses. In 2x4, Loki talks about how Thor had been changed by Jane and how, at the time, Loki mocked him for becoming ‘weak.’ Because that’s what Loki had learned from Odin. He learned that he would only be worthy, he would only be good enough if he could achieve the throne, if he was seen as powerful and strong by others. When Loki tried to please his father by getting rid of their sworn enemies, it still wasn’t enough for Odin and Loki was cast aside for it. I think Loki never really knew how to express his affection and care in a way that wouldn’t lead to him being abandoned or looked down upon. Loki was taught that the only way to become powerful and worthy was to show no vulnerability, as he says in 1x1, the “elaborate trick” to inspire fear and control. He had absolutely no examples of how to show affection and still be respected for it.
Then when Mobius came along, he truly showed Loki how to trust and be open with another person, to show vulnerability and affection in a healthy and supportive way. Mobius told Loki ‘I see who you pretend to be but I know what parts of yourself you’re hiding and therefore I know you can be good.’ Mobius showed Loki that he didn’t need a throne to be worthy, he doesn’t need to pretend not to care to get others to look up to him, he can be gentle and he can trust others and those people will trust him back. Besides Loki’s mother, I think Mobius was the first person that believed in Loki’s goodness and gave him that freedom to express who he really is. Thor said multiple times that Loki could be better, could be more, but I don’t think even Thor ever really expected Loki to change. I think Loki’s interactions with Mobius gave him that freedom he never had to become gentler and more open throughout the series than he had a chance to be in the movies.
It’s true that I don’t think Mobius taught Loki how to care about people, I think Mobius was ultimately the first person that allowed Loki to just be, to express his trust and friendship without any expectations or judgement. Mobius transformed Loki’s views on how much someone is allowed to show of themselves and still be respected. Mobius said ‘you can trust me, you can be yourself, you can show me gentleness, and I will never mock you for it.’ I just don’t think Loki ever had anyone like that before and he never learned how to express his care before he met Mobius. Even if you don’t think they have romantic feelings for each other, Mobius clearly had a transformative impact on Loki’s sense of self, which Loki displays in his affection toward Mobius and interactions with other characters going forward.

Valhalla | Loki x reader
Tumblr media
Thor: Love and Thunder SPOILERS!!! This is also Loki from the original MCU timeline, who, you know died in Infinity War.
Summary: you died on battle after Gorr’s destruction. Once in Valhalla, you search for your dear love.
Pairing: Loki x reader (no gender specified,  please let me know if you find any discrepancy)
Tumblr media
"It's fine..."
"No, no, no!" He leaned down to you, your wound bleeding out so fast, he knew an asgardian wouldn’t bear a wound from the Necrosword.
"Thor, I am fine," a weak smile appeared on your dry lips. "Go with her."
"I shouldn't have dragged you here," he whispered. The tears forming on his blue eyes. “I’m so sorry-”
"No, I wanted to fight... along with you, I am fine... Don't forget that."
Tumblr media
Your eyes opened. You blinked once, two times. The light was too strong for you, never in your life you've seen this kind of blinding light.
The last thing you remembered was Thor holding you in his arms. Gorr hurted you bad, but the pain was now gone. You sat down on the soft grass, blocking the light with your hand until you were able to actually see around.
There was a huge golden palace far away, a walking path leading you. The sky was blue and bright, just like you've heard the afterlife would be for your warriors.
Was it real?
“Y/N from Asgard,” a voice called behind you.
The man walked, standing up in front of you. He gave his hand to help you get up.
“Heimdall?”
The guardian smiled.
“Welcome, warrior.”
You accepted his hand, rising from the ground.
“Welcome to Valhalla.”
A smile appeared on your lips, the tears running on your cheeks. You hugged your dear friend, letting him know how much you missed him.
“I have someone who would love to meet you.”
Tumblr media
Heimdall guided you through the path until you arrived to the palace. On the way, you encountered a couple of old friends and familiar faces from the Ragnarok and previous battles.
They all wore pretty robes and dresses, just like your clothes. The warriors seemed happy and finally in peace after a life full of worry. It was good knowing you will be able to share feasts with them.
Once you entered the palace, a crowd was able to be seen in the middle of the ball room.
“Is this what you do every day? Eat and drink mead?”
Heimdall chuckled. “Pretty much so, yes. We don’t get to do a lot of things here, you know. We just live peacefully, eat and talk about our biggest fights.”
The guardian started to look for someone within the warriors, you walked by his side.
“Of course you do...”
Making your way through the crowd of people, you finally saw him. The person Heimdall wanted to show you. He was all alone, resting his back against the pillar. His green eyes looked lost, looking all the people around having their feast, a half smile adorning his lips and his skin as pale as always has been. The green and black clothes he usually used to wear now gone and replaced for gold and white.
“Loki?”
His eyes went wide and the cup of mead fell off from his hand once he heard your voice. The prince raised himself from the pillar to see you. Heimdall gave you some space to be alone.
“My dear...” Loki got closer to you, his hand touched your cheek as if he was afraid of hurting you. Or afraid to think it was an illusion.
“You’re really here,” you cried, letting him touch your face. You grabbed his hands on yours, his skin felt cold. Just how you remembered.
His arms wrapped around you, squeezing you softly agains his body. Tears fell from your eyes. Finally you felt safe. After all these years, you missed his touch, his voice, his charm. Everything.
“Can we go outside?” you sobbed.
Loki took your hand and walked away with you from the crowd. You found a beautiful garden and a small fountain. He leaned until your foreheads touched, his hand caressing on your cheek like if you were meant to break in any second.
“I missed you so much...” a whisper fell from your lips. Your eyes opened and looked at his green gaze.
“Fate already reunited us. That’s all I care right now, I love you,” he mumbled against your lips before placing a soft kiss on them.
“I have so much to tell you,” you smiled. “I can’t believe I am here, in Valhalla with you.”
“Well we have now all the time in the universe, my love,” Loki kissed your lips one more time.
“You know, besides me Thor is very proud of you...”
“That moron,” he chuckled. “He better is.”

I Rewatched Loki for Reasons
I rewatched the entirety of the Loki show, because I have a week of an unpaid break for Thanksgiving. I did this for a reason, and not just because I have no life (though that’s part of it). You will discover this (rather unhinged) reason tomorrow. Today, we’re gonna talk about things I missed, because I don’t know how to write a retrospective and Google didn’t help me, so this is the best I can do. So enjoy! (Spoilers for all of Loki)
Season 1, Episode 1
The very first time we see Mobius he stops a hunter from pruning a child. And then he’s kind to the child. We see his personality and we also see something that becomes a recurring theme in the series: he has a soft spot for children.
The “scared little boy shivering in the cold” line (which is actually the option of Mobius’s motivation Loki takes as the truth, and also the one I accept).
His sons (I have a problem with how he acts at work about them, but every other time he talks about them or interacts with them he does show he cares about them)
The boy at the Black Sea he couldn’t prune
The fact that a Loki specialist is noticeably absent from an arrest of a Loki when his partner leads the charge, so he should have been there (Sylvie’s arrest)
Still annoyed Loki didn’t correct Mobius in the finale when Mobius credited Renslayer for getting Loki off. He tells Mobius in 2x05 that Mobius saved his life. I think even though it’s the end, even though Mobius isn’t gonna remember this interaction, it would’ve been important to Loki that he knows that he did that, not Renslayer. Loki remembers everything, Loki remembers how that went down, he knows it was Mobius and has already told Mobius so once. He would do it again.
I think this changes in episode 2, but Mobius never uses pronouns for Sylvie. Other hunters and Loki assume he/him, but Mobius only refers to Sylvie as a Loki variant.
Season 1, Episode 2
Damn, okay, keep showing off that eidetic memory, Loki.
C’mon Mobius, why did you have to immediately start assuming male pronouns for Sylvie like everyone else? I liked that you didn’t do that in the last episode.
Loki talks about getting his magic back this episode, and then uses it twice: to dry himself and to summon something to use as a weapon: Weak.
Season 1, Episode 3
Loki and Sylvie have got such great sibling rivalry energy. I love every time they interact when I’m not scared they’re gonna kiss.
I maintain that the expression Loki makes and his noncommittal grunt in answer to Sylvie’s “real” implies that there was something, however brief, that felt real to him or that he wanted to be real. Given we never see any relationships in the movies, and that Where Mischief Lies is supposed to be a prequel to the MCU, I still think he thinks of Theo here (and maybe even Amora).
Why did Loki get drunk on the train? Sylvie makes him talk about his mom, whom he hasn’t seen in over a year. He remembers Mobius telling him that he causes her death, and that he can never see her again anyway. He was reminded of Theo, so he’s also got that centuries-old guilt rattling around in his brain again, and he’s starting to think he might be falling for himself which is insane for so many reasons. And he’s just got done being tortured for a year, so he’s not exactly in the best headspace to work through any emotions in a healthy manner.
Season 1, Episode 4
The hair flips are way more extensive than I remember them.
Season 1, Episode 5
Wait, so Renslayer doesn’t remember He Who Remains, she didn’t know the Timekeepers were fake, she doesn’t know she’s a variant, but she knows about the void? Did Mobius know about the void? So even though pruning hurt, he knew he wasn’t being killed?
Thunder rumbles in the void, and Loki looks up again. He’s still looking for Thor.
Kid Loki: “Whenever one of us dares try to fix themselves they’re sent here to die.” You didn’t kill Thor. Not a fucking chance. I was right!!
They literally said Loki knows enchantment magic when they enchant Alioth. “Because we’re the same,” Sylvie says. So why the fuck does Loki never have a chance to do it himself in season 2?
Season 1, Episode 6
Mobius was pruned before they found out the Timekeepers were fake (and I’m watching this episode about 18 hours after the last and I don’t have an eidetic memory like Loki, so forgive me if I’ve forgotten something), and we don’t see Mobius and Sylvie talk about that in the car, nor do Sylvie and Loki fill him in on that after so Mobius and Sylvie must have talked off screen. What else did they talk about???
The interaction between Renslayer and Mobius in this episode carries such a different weight knowing the mission that eventually took both of them off the beat cop path and more or less out of the field.
So no one told me to stop talking about biblical imagery, but for some reason I’m trying to resist. But sorry I can’t help myself, even though this was probably pointed out by countless analyzers when it came out two years ago. He Who Remains keeps tongue in cheek referring to himself as the devil, and then he first shows up eating a fucking apple, which has been primarily accepted as the Forbidden Fruit (it isn’t really. In the Bible it isn’t specified which fruit it is).
So Sylvie was right, in a way. He Who Remains is lying here. He knows this isn’t the end when she kills him, though he never actually plans for Timely to replace him like we speculated. Timely was just meant to be the tool to get Loki back to this moment, to (by He Who Remains’s hope) kill Sylvie and save him, so he can survive to control the timeline another day. He also manages to predict how the series ends, by proposing that Loki (and Sylvie) take over for him. He certainly doesn’t intend for Loki to go about it the way that he does, I don’t think, but he’s essentially not wrong. Loki does take over custodianship of the timeline(s) after He Who Remains.
At this point, I’m with Sylvie, I think the “threshold” is bullshit. I think what people figured out about it coinciding with WandaVision (and I don’t know if Marvel commented on that since) is legit, but I think he uses it as an excuse. He knows Sylvie is gonna try to kill him and Loki is gonna try to stop her and Sylvie is gonna use the TemPad to send him away. He places the TemPad in the perfect location for her to use, under the guise of doing it to symbolize offering them the mantle. But it’s a ruse. It’s where Sylvie can reach it to send Loki away. I think when she says he’s lying she’s also referring to him doing this to hold off his variants and another multiversal war, and in that respect I think she’s wrong. I mean, we’ve essentially gotten proof that she’s wrong. But he does know what’s happening.
And that’s the image and Mobius’s parting words they left us with for 2 fucking years.
Season 2, Episode 1
I still don’t understand why it never gets explained how OB remembers meeting Loki in the past but Mobius, Casey, and Verity (I will never let this Easter egg about B-15’s backstory go) don’t.
I’m coming off of season 1 (obviously) and before that, two watches of episode 6. I forgot how fucking painful the slipping is for him in this episode. Loki screams in agony every fucking time. Jesus.
Like, I know I’m a fool. But Mobius already thinks he’s into Sylvie, so he wouldn’t be that shocked to hear they kissed. So why does Loki just skip over that detail? Could it be that even in his frantic sense of panic, Loki knows that if he mentions a kiss it’ll completely derail Mobius and he’ll never let it go?
The end of this episode, with Loki almost being separated and Mobius being able to do nothing about it is such painful foreshadowing UGH.
Season 2, Episode 2
Why does Loki always insist on popping his collar? Mobius didn’t teach him that. Why does he think that’s cool/obnoxious? Did Mobius make an annoyed comment offscreen in season 1 and now he just does it to annoy him on purpose?
Season 2, Episode 3
I love this version of the show theme, slower and deeper.
Season 2, Episode 4
I want more clever teamwork with magic from Sylvie and Loki like when they jump Brad. Every time I watch it it makes me giddy.
In episode 6, when Loki tells Timely what to do, he does all of OB’s gestures exactly the same. Can someone please just state outright that my boi has an eidetic memory already?
Season 2, Episode 5
Loki steps into the door of Piranha Powersports (and he’s already seen Mobius/Don through the window, so he knows he’s here), takes one look at Mobius/Don, hears two words in his voice, and even though the camera is across the room, you can see the actual sigh of relief he lets out. Mobius is here, he’s finally back with Mobius, Mobius is okay, everything is all right now.
OB wants to quit teaching and write full time. The! Dream! (I mean, I haven’t had an idea for original characters since I was in college and I don’t have the patience to write anything longer than 3k words most of the time, but still. Fucking ideal)
Me: I love how Loki is always so calm and patient with OB.
Meanwhile, Loki: *strongly considers zapping OB back after they do it to him to try to jumpstart the time slipping*
Also OB, Loki is used to getting electrocuted. I bet that barely hurt, like how getting shanked is just a Tuesday afternoon for Thor at this point.
Did I start crying when he said “I can rewrite the story,” even though I’ve seen this episode 3 times now? Maybe.
Season 2, Episode 6
No! Why the fuck is the next episode screen the shot of Mobius and Sylvie looking through the door in horror as Loki steps out towards the Loom?! That’s not fucking fair! It’s fucking upsetting is what it is.
Has anyone stopped to wonder why this launcher even exists at the end of the gangway? Or why there’s a gangway out to the loom to begin with? I’m not even talking about the fact that the loom was always meant to explode if it got overloaded and reset the TVA. I mean even before they learned that, there was never supposed to be more than one timeline passing through the loom anyway. The branches were always meant to be pruned well before it got to this point.
Why yes, “Ascension” did make me cry again. I blame Hiddleston for introducing me to redemptive arcs in classical pieces. Because this track has it and that’s the moment I start sobbing.
If you’re still here, thank you. I can’t believe I still have thoughts about this series. I will leave you with this.
Favorite Episodes
Season 1: Episode 5: Journey Into Mystery
Season 2: Episode 3: 1893
And I will see you tomorrow for some unhinged shit which was the real reason I watched the whole show again. Maybe strap in now?

Okay, Unfinished Business 13x20 THEE Gabriel master thesis of episodes for his characterisation tells me one very important fact about him, and that’s that he is an unreliable narrator.
This is perhaps not even his fault, years and years of suffering the worst kind of abuse it’s hard to think clearly about much at all, let alone the intricacies of what happened to put you where you are and trying to understand other perspectives. It’s hard when you’ve spent a near decade (or undisclosed amount of time being shifted between Earth and Hell) with only the worst kind of torture at the forefront of your mind.
Or maybe, he does know. He is the trickster in every way that matters regardless of if he’s the original Loki or not. I’d find it pretty hard to believe that the trickster who haunts Sam Winchester’s nightmares would be unaware of the irony of his situation and the symbolism of his own torture, I imagine that makes the punishment all the more humiliating and bitter. Gabriel is also a show boat. A peacock. He’s always paraded himself around as tough and unknowable, he’s also a known liar and both of those traits work together to create a very convincing story in whatever episodes story it is he wants to tell. But he is a liar.
What sounds better? Gabriel ran away to hide under the skirt of his pagan friends?
Tumblr media
Or, Gabriel was living a luxurious life where he was pampered and beloved;
Tumblr media
(That’s right, the pornstars obviously)
That these so called friends wined and dined him, fed him his fill, and then when he was at his most vulnerable after they’d made well sure he felt comfortable enough to let his guard down- THEN, and only then, did they strike out against him. He could have never seen it coming. The ultimate betrayal.
Gabriel can’t keep his story straight the whole episode. He opens with a bold faced lie (can you spot the resemblance to any other lies so far?)
Tumblr media
He knows this looks bad. He’s already so fragile, and he knows the Winchesters want him for his grace so I can’t imagine him knocking on their door for help was a decision he came to easily. So these two men who are bigger than him, stronger than him, and have a bone to pick with him, bring him into their motel room while he’s bleeding his guts out and can barely stand. He peacocks. I’m fine, “you should see the other guy”, wink wink. God forbid they know he’s weak, god forbid they think he’s any more pathetic than they already do.
He’s guarding his very fragile ego right now, frankly, it’s the only thing he has left.
I don’t doubt for a moment that Loki’s POV is any less clouded by his own personal prejudices and ego, they’re very much the same after all. Loki was in that cave, Gabriel did rescue him.
Tumblr media
These are facts. That doesn’t change that Loki freed Gabriel from a cave of his own and saved him from his family as well.
Tumblr media
They are equals in this fact. But neither willing to admit to it. Loki I understand, he’s given very little time to plead his case and so he gets right to the point. I saved Gabriel’s life, he killed my father.
Gabriel however, has plenty of time to explain himself and wastes it spinning a story in which he can both simultaneously look cool and still find himself to be the ultimate victim in. He wastes time keeping the Winchesters in the dark and it could have cost them their lives when they ran in after Gabriel without the whole story. Lucky for them, no one here cares about the Winchesters lol Loki is as occupied with Gabriel and he is with Loki. But they could’ve been hurt!
I’m not saying Gabriel doesn’t deserve catharsis, that he shouldn’t get to kill Loki and his children. I don’t need to, Gabriel does-
Tumblr media
Maybe that was the tricksters best trick so far, that Gabriel managed to warp his own memories and perception of what happened to fuel his own survival, and now that he’s out and the world is real again he can’t make himself let go of what he had to tell himself. That Loki was unnecessarily cruel. That Loki snapped out of nowhere. That his closest confidant sold him out for money of all things. He can’t let himself remember it was more complex than that, he tells himself he needs this, because if he doesn’t he’ll have to admit that under all this peacocking and lying he is that weak and broken and scared. If Gabriel has to sit down with the reality that he’s never going to be that cool and sexy guy who gets everyone he wants and couldn’t care less, he’d probably want to kill himself (which is what really starts to get him down in the following episodes because guess what, killing Loki didn’t fix anything he’s still broken, :( always will be)
I think he believes if he can lie hard enough, this fabrication could be real. It can be real to him at least, so he doesn’t have to face the humiliation of either admitting to his own stupid naïveté and he didn’t see the obvious coming, or that he knowing and wilfully begged Loki for a place by his side and got throw down hard for his cowardice. But it’s not like there’s anyone left to contest his story now.

20 Questions for Fic Writers Game
Tagged by @jo-harrington. Thank you!
1) How many works do you have on A03?
According to AO3, 195. However I do know it’s more since I have made a few drabble compilation. Someday I’ll reorganize everything.
2) What's your total AO3 word count?
686,641
3) What fandoms do you write for?
Baldur’s Gate 3, Stranger Things, Marvel/MCU, Star Wars, The Magnificent Seven, M*A*S*H, Good Omens, and a scattering of other fandoms here and there.
4) What are your top five fics by kudos?
Skipping Drabble/Headcanon compilations
I Want It All (Astarion x Ace!Tav)
Life Is Inevitable Like That (Ineffable Husbands)
Trust Me (Poe Dameron x Reader)
An Unspoken Thing (Doctor Strange x Reader)
Questions (Ineffable Husbands)
5) Do you respond to comments? Why or why not?
I respond to most of them, or at least try to. I think it’s important to building a community, which is what I hope I encourage. Also as a way to show that yes, I did read it and yes, commenting does matter.
6) What is the fic you wrote with the angstiest ending?
What If…Loki Lost His Love?
I don’t do major character death or angst in general. It’s just not what I’m looking for in fics, but I actually think I did a good job on this one.
7) What's the fic you wrote with the happiest ending?
Most of them? They’re basically all one-shots with happy conclusions. I think if my recent stuff, probably I Want It All.
8) Do you get hate on fics?
I did get one “kill yourself” message a few years ago, but it was just one person on anon. The reception to basically all of my fics have been positive.
9) Do you write smut? If so, what kinds?
I’ve written some smut. I’ve done a couple of Kinktobers and some for Clone Wars. I think the best way I can describe the way I write smut is “sensual”? And it’s a little rougher. Idk, somebody better versed than me could describe it better.
10) Do you write crossovers?
Not really
11) Have you ever had a fic stolen?
I did have a few of my Poe Dameron fics stolen a few years back, but I messaged them and they quickly deleted the fic. That all being said, if anybody notices my works being stolen or copied, please let me know.
12) Have you ever had a fic translated?
Not that anyone has told me.
13) Have you ever co-written a fic before?
My sister and I have talked about it, but no.
14) What's your all time favorite ship?
Ineffable Husbands
15) What's a WIP that you want to finish, but doubt you ever will?
*glances at all WIPs I already have published and drawers full of WIPs saved on my computer*
What are you a cop?
16) What are your writing strengths?
Dialogue, characterization and emotions. At least that’s what people have told me.
17) What are your writing weaknesses?
Prose. I’m still working on getting more creative with my descriptions. I could also really get better at scene setting in general.
18) Thoughts on writing dialogue in another language in fic?
I’m not against it, but use it wisely.
If you want to reader to understand what is being said, write it out in the language of the fic. This isn’t a movie. Putting a translation at the bottom of the chapter or in the middle of the sentence makes it sloppy. Instead type out “they said in X language, “___”.
However if you want a character to hear something being said in a different language and they don’t understand it, then type it out of you want.
19) First fandom you wrote for?
Unpublished? Harry Potter
Published? Sherlock (no you can’t read it)
20) Favorite fic you've written?
Don’t make me pick. I’ve written so much and I have a soft spot for so many for a variety of reasons. If you want to send me a fic title and ask me about it, I’ll gladly answer any questions you want.
Tagging @leighsartworks216, @kittttycakes, @can-of-pringles, @flapjacques and anybody else who wants to join in!

So I haven’t been in this fandom for YEARS but I just came across smth that always bugged me so ig I’m venting.
So the fandom has always been very critical of Odin but I always found it to be to a fault. I’ll generally see very exaggerated, not canonically supported takes on Odin that paint everything he ever did in the worst light possible. To the point where it’s just extremely boring to me. Odin being pure evil is infinitely less interesting than him being gray flawed-but-loving parent. Now I realise a huge chunk of the fandom would love a ‘Loki realizes Odin will never love him and gets over him’ narrative but I find it 1) personally extremely emotionally unsatisfying 2) waaaaay beyond a story that could ever be handled well and with enough nuance by the mcu 3) a bit too not complaint with the first movie and in general with the framing in all of these movies to truly stick the landing.
Tumblr media
For example, ppl would often try to turn the information that was stated in canon that ‘Loki got adopted’ into ‘Loki got kidnapped’. The problem with that is that it’s solely based on headcanon. From a Watsonian perspective you can try to argue that Odin could be lying but from a Doylist perspective this is the only time we’re given information on that matter, and if the truth on such a crucial aspect of the story was different then it’d be extremely important to reveal the real truth to the audience at some point, but the writers never do that. Actually there’s a deleted scene found in the script where Loki reveals to Laufey that he’s his son, where Laufey explicitly agrees that he abandoned Loki, calls him weak and ‘a bastard son’. Now this is a deleted scene so it’s not canon, ig we could say it’s soft canon, but either way it gives us insight into the writers’ original intent behind writing the whole script including the vault scene and it presents the more fleshed out version of the story, where such a crucial information as Loki’s origin is indeed double-checked by Loki with the ‘original source’.
Tumblr media
Next matter, the writers never thought through the story nearly as much as the fans do. The worldbuilding, history and lore of this world are next to non-existent. We don’t know anything about the Jotun culture, so who knows maybe leaving someone of royal blood in a temple was done for their own protection or maybe it was a sacrifice to their gods or smth, or maybe it has no meaning at all and he was simply left behind anywhere when others were fleeing. Similarly we don’t know anything about Asgardian customs so maybe the party at the end of the movie was smth disrespectful toward Loki’s recent presumed death or maybe it was exactly how they do it. We’re just left to either take the framing at face value even tho the framing is sometimes noticeably faulty or come up with headcanons.
And speaking of that party scene, along with weird assumptions about Asgardian culture I’ve also seen weird reading of Odin’s behavior. Now Anthony Hopkins clearly never cared about this role and in most scenes he barely even moves so I know that probs doesn’t help the perception that Odin the character doesn’t care about what’s happening around him, but we also do get some things out of him like this:
Tumblr media
He's shown alone and isolated from the rest, staring blankly at the Bifrost where everybody thinks Loki died and it seems he can barely speak, but that somehow translates into ultimate proof that he’s happy/indifferent that Loki is gone, like ??? Absolutely bizarre takes. I would often see ppl scrutinize Odin’s behavior like this like they’re body language/human behavior “experts” or whatever, as tho it’s not the case that all the characters often appear to be underacting/underreacting when intercut with Loki’s drastic and often very realistic looking displays of emotion. And even with that in mind there’s always enough obvious cinematic language used in those scenes that you can clearly tell the authorial intent. Like you’d think somber music and sad faces and staying away from the party, in contrast to all the partying guests, would make it clear enough that Loki’s family is mourning. But ig they’re not mourning visibly enough for some ppl’s liking.
Tumblr media
There’s more scenes like that that really convey the love between all the different family members, but then we also get these confusing scenes like ‘your birthright was to die’ or ‘am I not your mother’ or ‘That hope no longer exists to protect you. You betray me and I will kill you.’ that just kinda happen but then nothing ever gets explained or resolved. Unfortunately it’s likely the writers just think there’s nothing wrong with this kind of behavior and that the characters were justified/right in saying those things. So the fandom’s stuck not being able to just ignore the worst of it, and for me also not being able to ignore all the framing and writing that conveys real love within the family that I want to root for.
In broader strokes I would say the first movie is the most defining for the franchise and the characters and that’s the one that has me rooting for Odin and Loki’s relationship. Then came TDW and it was the real beginning of the end, not TR. This movie was the first that tried to simply sweep under the rug all the interesting drama the previous movies built. They find a way to get rid of Frigga, they get rid of Odin and rush his arc to its end (originally with no intention to bring him back ever again, according to interviews) and they also tried to get rid of Loki for good and rush his arc to its end. Leaving Thor free from having to deal with all the family drama ever again that ig powers that be decided no one wanted to see, until changes were made. With the third movie continuing to axe everything that’s left from the Thor franchise and continuing the task of writing out Thor’s family members, bringing Odin and Loki back, giving them both more flattering conclusions and then killing them off again. And what a pity cos the bones for great arcs for these characters are all there. If only there was a single cohesive vision for the franchise that allowed for continuous cohesive arcs throughout the trilogy.
Anyway, ig I still had some mourning to do for all that development that never happened and that at this point we’re way beyond ever getting.

Tickled Green
Plot: St. Patrick’s Day shenanigans (tickles) with you and Loki. Fluff.
Swearing: None
Rating: G, SFW
Female reader and Loki
Tumblr media Tumblr media
It was March and that meant the partaking of St. Patrick’s Day in many places. It was a holiday like any other than came and went, but on this occasion, instead of drinking until you puked, there was another “tradition” (even though it happened daily) that you loved. You see, St. Patrick’s Day tradition stated that you will be pinched if you aren’t wearing green on said day, but you and your boyfriend Loki were different. He, of course, wore green every single day. Not that you minded. Green WAS his color. But you would sometimes be so wrapped up in life that you’d usually forget to wear green. So, instead of pinching you(Loki couldn’t bear hurting his sweet dove), Loki found out your one true weakness (you were extremely ticklish) on that holiday and from then on, that was your tradition.
Well, maybe you “forgot “ so Loki would exact ticklish revenge on you. Everything in your shared apartment was green and although it may have been a bit much, you loved it just the same as he. You wanted him to feel comfortable always so you agreed to this change. This also so happened to be your bargaining chip every St. Patrick’s Day, as long as you were in the apartment and this year was no different. “Loki. I am wearing green,” you said as you motioned to the apartment. “ You think you’re so clever, darling,” he said with a semi evil smirk. “I know what you’re doing and I will not budge. I will get you for not wearing green on your person. As is the tradition.”
At. Patrick’s Day fell on the weekend this year, so you, nor Loki, nor the Avengers were working today. Unlike the rest of the team, who spent the day at parades and bars, you and Loki decided to take a more relaxed approach to the holiday. Staying at home and relaxing. However, it wouldn’t be so relaxing when he finally got his hands on you.
From the moment you two woke up, Loki was non-stop teasing you. “My darling, you know what happens when you aren’t wearing green on this day. Don’t you?” You giggled as he lay on top of you in the bed with your arms around his neck. “ No. Could you remind me one more time…” you both smiled as you kissed and you felt his hands creep down to your sides.
“ Uhuhuh, Loki. What’re you doing? Hehehe,” you said playfully. “I’m giving you your punishment for not wearing green today. If that’s alright with you, darling.” You smiled and kissed him again. “Oh yes. I guess I deserve it, huh? But, uh, I’m not afraid of you I hope you know.” “You should be. As you know from years past what I’m going to do now.” Loki then wiggled his fingers along your sides making you giggle. “Ah. There’s that beautiful sound”. You tried to grab his wrists but he was already on to you, as he grabbed yours instead. “Now, my pet. I am going to make you laugh yourself mad!” This always excited you when he began in this way.
Within seconds, your arms were raised and a green flash of light moved around your wrists, binding them to the bed. “Is that why you refuse to wear green on this holiday with me every year? So you can be punished with tickles? I know you like it and I know the exact spot that makes you scream. And it’s riiiiiigggghhhttttt…here!” You flinched as he grabbed the sides of your belly lightly as he moved his fingers ever so lightly across your goose bumped skin. “Nahahahooo!” you yelped out with hard laughter. “Yehehehes!” he replied evilly. “You wanted this, darling! Just remember that!” he boomed as he continued to break your resolve by then playing your ribs like a piano. “My, my! Who knew my sweet darling was so…sensitive.” You laughed heartily again and half screamed, “ stop teasing mehehehe! I yield! I yield!” Loki then gave you a sincere look and unbound your wrists. “ Well, I hope you learned your lesson this time, my love. Because I will do this as long as it takes until you learn what you’re supposed to wear on St. Patrick’s Day. You don’t have to go this far for tickles, as you know. You just need to ask.” “I know” you replied as you both sat up and hugged each other. The rest of the day, you sat watching the parade on t.v. and held each other tight.
