Changérion Bible - Aizawa Kazunari interview

(Spoiler alert for a few episodes)
Hayami Katsuhiko is a just and handsome hero cadet who failed to become the righteous hero Changéríon. He is a hot-blooded and frank guy with seriousness as his strong point, but he is quite a klutz. He is supposed to save the day, but is instead saved, and he partners up with Akira in an odd but funny two-man team before he knows it, yet he's a superhero who dreams big… In reality, however, he is an aggressive and fiery young man who moved to Tokyo when he was drunk.
"I honestly can't believe that Changéríon was such a memorable work for so many people."
-Like Hayami, who played the role in the past, he says so with a mysterious look on his face. However, contrary to his own feelings, he says he is still receiving feedback from various sources.
"The other day, I was participating in a theater workshop."
-It was a full-fledged one, inviting a teacher from England for professionals.
"There were about 10 participants, some of whom were from Bungeiza, Daisan Erotica, and former members of Yume no Yuuminsha, so it was quite exciting. On the last day, one of them told me that they had seen Changéríon. I was surprised. They seemed to have been thinking for a long time about when they were going to say it, since it was the last day. That's when I realized that someone had seen it."
-It was the same thing on stage.
"Sometimes people who have been fans since the Changéríon days come to watch me, which is kind of incredible."
-He confesses that he never intended to become an actor in the first place.
"I know I'm being cheeky, but I just didn't like the normal routine."
-It all started with a movie. He happened to see a film on holiday that was so romantic and interesting that he wanted to play such a role.
"The name of the work is too faddist, so I won't tell you. But I like romantic stories. That's why I often watch romantic movies."
-He was born and raised in Miyagi Prefecture. After graduating from high school, he took it for granted that he would work for a local company.
"That was a very nice place to work, everyone was kind, and I was blessed."
-He was assigned to a factory. He wore a uniform and did the same work day in and day out.
"…I am embarrassed to say this, but one day I saw my reflection in the glass as I was working in my uniform. I am now living with my parents, and I can see a future where I will get a wife, build a house, and have children. And I wondered if that was what I wanted."
-He went for a drink with agonizing thoughts and then went straight into action.
"I drank until morning and took the bullet train to Tokyo first thing in the morning (laughs)."
-It was truly an "impulse."
"One thing I remember very well was the news of the Iraqi invasion of Kuwait that was playing at Tokyo Station. It was still early in the morning, but people were gathering around the TVs in the storefronts, and I wondered what was going on. Oh, it's war, they said."
-That day the Gulf War broke out. Unbeknownst to others, his life also changed dramatically.
"That was when I was 20 or 21. I moved in and lived at my senior's house for a while, but my parents scolded me. They said, "It's your choice to go to Tokyo, but you should do the bare minimum as a human being," and that was a good point. I had no more money, so I went back to my parents' house to visit my workplace and sell my car to make money… It was a great place to work, and I still feel bad about it, and I am grateful to my parents for not stopping me."
-Thus, he finally arrived in Tokyo. However, even at that point, he did not have a firm goal in mind.
"Since I was tall, I had been told since high school that I should model, so I decided to try modeling in Tokyo. So I looked at magazines and looked for an agency… Then I saw a movie, and I had a goal of becoming an actor. I guess I couldn't allow myself to make an escape route, so I gave up on the modeling agency. But I didn't know how to become an actor, so I asked for introductions and auditions. When you are alone in Tokyo, you have to help yourself to survive, so in that sense it is a tough city, although you can get by with your own efforts."
-However, he decided to live here.
Scouted out in the hallway?! First serial drama!
"I went to Toei's headquarters with my office manager to say hello."
-It was on the production floor, where the desks of the producers belonging to the company were lined up.
"While the manager was greeting the executives, I was waiting in the hallway and my shoelace came undone, so I had to sit down and tie it back on."
-Then a man appeared (he seemed to be a very important guy).
"He suddenly asked me who I was, and when I told him I was an actor, he said, 'I see, now come with me.'"
-He didn't know why, but he was called in for an audition for Racing Squadron Carranger that was being prepared at the time. Unfortunately, he was too tall to fit in with the other members and was rejected. He then decided to take on Super Shining Soldier Changéríon.
"When I received the script for the first episode, I thought that if it was going to be a choice between Akira and Hayami, I should be Hayami because of my personality. I heard that the two of them were competing with each other until the very end, but they decided on me at the last minute."
-However, he confesses that he did not really feel it.
"I mean, I was readily selected to appear in a serialized drama series, and I wondered if it would be so quick and easy."
-However, after that, he ended up having to work very hard (laughs).
Changéríon was a "playground"
"At first, Hayami was supposed to be more cool and carry the shadow of not being a hero. But before I knew it, he turned out to be such a serious fool."
-It was your own fault, said scriptwriter Inoue at the time, or not (laughs).
"I guess it's my fault. I was often told by Mr. Shirakura and Mr. Inoue that Hayami was not really this kind of guy. It is true that I was a bit aware of it, and there was a part of me that got carried away. It was my first acting job, and I had the strength of not knowing, you could say, or the feeling that it would be fine if it was funny. And I went overboard."
-However, his fearless vigor has created an image of Hayami as a hot-blooded, upright, stubborn, and good-natured person. In episode 9 "The Radiant Hayami!", for example, he transforms into the long-sought Changéríon in place of Akira, but his good-naturedness causes the dark creature, who begs him to change his ways, to flee. The hero is unable to wield his sword in the face of the apologetic opponent… Akira was an unconventional hero too, but is it our imagination that Hayami has also created a stir in the image of heroes of the past? Indeed, a hero is a being who slaughters his enemies in the name of justice. The antithesis of this attitude seems to have led to the current Kamen Rider Ryuuki.
"I feel that Mr. Inoue and Mr. Shirakura have successfully created an amusement park or, well, a more primitive park or playground for us. It's like we were just playing there. For example, "We made swings. But this is a swing set, so how would you play on it?" So we all thought hard about what we would do. We were really just having fun playing. If you could see the antithesis of that, I think it was because Mr. Shirakura and Mr. Inoue were so great."
-The only regret he has is that the program, which he says he played around in with all his might, was terminated in the middle of the cour. To be precise, it was not cancelled, but rather not renewed for a fourth cour, which was a shock to him since he thought it would continue.
"I guess I wanted more of a sense of convergence from everyone, because it ended without any. But now I think that last episode was good. The idea of a loop between a carefree daily life and a serious battlefield is amazing, isn't it? But I also think that maybe that's the way life is. As for myself, I wanted to settle things as Hayami. I think Hayami has always been a guy with a very negative attitude, thinking that he was supposed to be the one to make it. Just as it would have been nice to have a hero who was not cool and had no sense of justice, which Akira symbolized, it would have been nice to have someone with darker thoughts. Likewise, I think it would have been okay for Kuroiwa (Ogawa Atsushi) to be a villain and still fall in love with Eri (Kochihira Chika). …When you think about it like that, it was certainly a work that broke a lot of stereotypes."
-Hayami, who was in the midst of a conflict, however, finally achieves his longed-for transformation in episode 32 "Enter the Second Warrior!"… but this is Changéríon, after all, and Hayami transforms by eating dried plums (is he Suppaman?).
"For a long time, there were rumors. I wondered how it would turn out, and then it happened (laughs). I like the fact that Hayami is unaware of it, it's just like him."
-We asked him about his memorable episodes.
"I was happy to see the transformation. The scene where he eats Chief Munakata's seed of darkness and gets down on his knees saying, "That was delicious!" was funny. Then there was the scene where Akira and I switched places in "The Radiant Hayami!" That was a difficult episode. We were looking at each other and laughing, thinking, "This is not how it's supposed to be!" From that time on, I learned to do small acts in the frame, and we would restlessly do things together in the background. And the dubbing was separate, so it was mostly wasted (laughs)."
-What he did not like was dubbing.
"I hated it. When I saw the first episode, I thought it was so robotic. I thought that was so bad. I had a very hard time getting into the right mood for each episode."
-It was also around this time that he received his first fan letter.
"There was a one-time event called 'Cinefan' at Toei's Ooizumi Studios, and I wasn't scheduled to perform, but I went for one day and was surprised by the huge crowd. It was the first time for me to see fans in person, and I was surprised and happy to be called Hayami by a little kid, which was a strange feeling. I didn't really feel like I was playing the hero. I was more like "Detective Story" or "Tired Detective," which Akira likes, and we had said we would do something like that. So I was unexpectedly happy."
What Aizawa, an actor, thinks
"This job is more often hard and painful than fun, and there are more times when I don't do well, but sometimes I feel very fulfilled, and I want to savor it even more. At the time of Changéríon, I didn't think about these things, I was just playing like crazy, and I probably didn't wake up until later. But I learned a lot of things to wake up. Akira really has something that only he can do. I was very jealous of him because he had something that I could never have… but I was sure that there was a role that only I could play, so I decided to find it, because no matter what I played, I would always be me. I left because I didn't want to live a normal life, but at my age, when I interact with people from different professions, I often find myself empathizing with them, and I think that being an actor is not special. I hope that this will be a source of fertilizer. For me, Changéríon is like a "park where I went to during elementary school." I remember playing in the mud in the daytime, and I remember the dusk and the night scenery—If I had to give a word to my fans… I would say thank you. That's all I have to say."
-Thank you for a good time, too. We thank you from the bottom of our hearts.
Akira & Hayami
Akira: The snakeskin jacket I'm wearing in Kamen Rider (Asakura) right now is my own. Hayami: Oh, I've seen it before! Akira: It's in my room, you know? I'm not wearing it outside. Hayami: No, I saw it outside! You were walking around with it on. Akira: You're lying! Totally lying! Hayami: Just kidding. ♡ Akira: (laughs) You know, I was thinking that if you found out that I was playing a Rider wearing such a thing, you would say, "Akira, what the heck… I'm so upset!" (*) Hayami: You're right (laughs). Rider, huh? I'm so sad, Akira. Akira: Actually, I know you're worried. ♡
Hayami: At the time, I was just so absorbed in things, so I'm glad that people still remember me after 6 years like this. Akira: Yes. But now, when I hear people say that my acting has improved as a rider, I'm like, "What?!" But it's true, we weren't very good at acting (laughs). The director would joke that if we were better, we would be able to do the long takes on camera, and the cutaways were very detailed. Hayami: Yes, there was a time when I was quite particular about getting a long take someday. Akira: Then, in the middle of the series, Director Konaka started making long takes of your scenes. Hayami: That made the acting more exciting. Then, I would make mistakes and get yelled at. Akira: And I get depressed (laughs). And it shows on my face. I can't smile when I should be smiling, and that's not good. Hayami: But I know that he is angry with me with love. I'm going to do my best.
Hayami: We've been talking about making a movie together for a long time, but it's not easy. Akira: But I would love to make a film! Let's really make it happen. *Editor's note: Actually, there was an initial plan for Hayami to visit Akira's Rider shooting site to correct his ways (?) as a hero. But unfortunately, it did not come true.
Aizawa Kazunari: Born August 1, 1969 in Miyagi Prefecture. After working as a model, he was scouted (?) in the hallway of Toei's headquarters and auditioned, making his debut as Super Shining Soldier Changéríon's Hayami Katsuhiko. Since then, he has been active in film and stage. He appeared in the movie "Dolls" directed by Kitano Takeshi, which will be released in the fall, and in the movie "SEMI" directed by Yokoi Kenji, which will be released at the end of the year.

Quirk Au SCP CONNER quirk
I really like scps and Mha so what if they combined, what if midoriya wasn’t quirkless instead he had the power of conner from the SCP foundation fan-made series called confinement.
It was discovered early on, either he got into an accident as a kid or possibly had complications and died at birth, but come back again.
It scared poor Inko so badly the first time and she still never got used it it.
Because of his quirk, Midoriya is quite reckless in most situations. When dealing with villains he’s mostly chill and kind of mocking (kind of like conner) cause what are they gonna do, kill him? His abilities make him not as reacting to pain.
All Might saw great potential in the kid, but like Inko he prayed that he was more cautious with himself. “Young midoriya you must take better care of yourself)
Aizawa realizes he has this mess to deal with (his quirk doesn’t really work on midoriya, at best just prolongs his return)
Other students are also concerned cause first off he may have forgotten to mention it to most.
So during the entry exams a bunch of students have to sees boy splatter in blood, and then during the screaming he just comes back and is all like “Oh hey, yeah that’s what I can do no worries)
Midoriya also HAS NO SELF PRESERVATION, he will throw himself in to danger, and sometimes actively kill himself, like he got a sprained let alone break something, no waiting on recovery girl, he pulls a gun on himself, bang, comes back good as new.
Also remember his dead bodies stay around so that’s a whole thing. “Oh what to do with the body? ehh you can just push it away, or whatever you want”
Overall just very similar to the stories where other peoples AU’s where he has some kind of regeneration ability, but much more messed up

Hey! Can you draw the rooftop squad pls? (Hizashi, Aizawa, Nemuri and Oboro, and don't forget Sushi)
Tumblr media
Gladly.
First time drawing Oboro so sorry if I butchered him. I haven't finished Vigilantes yet (I know, I know) so I haven't properly met him yet. But I've seen a load of spoilers so I've pretty much read it. I think Oboro would be proud of his friends if he somehow came back.
It's just a burning memory.

alpha!erasermic x pregnant!reader | ABO fluff
Request:  Hiya! i’m wondering if you can do an alpha! erasermic x pregnant! omega! reader? maybe when both alphas leave their lunch at home and she goes to bring it to them. the reader and both alphas collectively have custody of hitoshi and eri, and the reader is heavily pregnant. preferably a female reader please, and none of class 1-a have met her. this is my first time requesting stuff so i hope i did okay!
You did wonderfully! I love writing cute fluffy stuff like this, and it’s my first time writing any kind of erasermic thing even though I love them so much, so hopefully I did okay! Idk where exactly this sits timeline-wise, don’t worry about it, it’s omegaverse and I can do what I want lol. I took this prompt and sort of RAN with it, too
*also Mirio has his quirk back in this because it’s fun, and the reader has kind of a dodgy past because i wanted to add a little SPICE*
Warnings: a/b/o, pregnancy, the implications of Aizawa’s scarf and all of its uses
You sighed, resting a hand on your swollen belly. “Those two...”
You had only just gotten Eri out of bed, and, upon heading into the kitchen to fix her some breakfast, you saw two lovingly-prepared bento boxes sitting on the counter. Shota and Hizashi must have forgotten them in their hurry to get to UA earlier that morning, and while you knew they could very easily grab something to eat in the cafeteria, you hated the thought of these meals going to waste.
Besides, your inner omega was a bit miffed that they hadn’t taken your home cooked food to work with them. Was Lunch Rush’s food so much better than yours that your alphas would rather eat at school? You refused to believe that, even if his quirk was cooking. There was no way that he could make your alphas a meal that could compare to the kind you always cooked for them, and maybe it was the pregnancy hormones making you extra bristly about it, but you were determined to march right on over to UA and bring them their proper lunches.
Even if you were heavily, heavily pregnant. They’d probably have something to say about you leaving the house and waddling around Musutafu with only Eri as company, but you were tough enough to fend for yourself. And besides, it was only a quick train ride to the station outside the school, and if you did get yourself into any kind of trouble, the city was chock full of pro heroes and their sidekicks, many of whom you were on a first name basis with.
“Eri!” you called, grabbing a bag to carry the boxes in. “Are you dressed yet? We’re going to visit UA!”
You could heard a thump, followed by the sound of little feet thudding as she ran to meet you. When she appeared in the doorway, her eyes were wide with excitement, her long hair falling around her shoulders messily. “Yes!”
“Go brush your hair and then we’ll go,” you laughed, ushering her towards the bathroom.
“Why are we going?” the little girl called.
“Hizashi and Shota left their lunches,” you explained. “We’re bringing them so that the food doesn’t go to waste.”
“Can we visit Deku and Togata?”
You paused to think. You hadn’t actually met any of Shota and Hizashi’s students before, your alphas always preferring that you stay home and away from the sometimes dangerous school they taught at. Well, you knew Hitoshi, of course, and since he had yet to move into the dorms on campus, he still lived at home with the rest of the family. At least he had remembered to grab his lunch. Would your adopted son be embarrassed to see you appearing at his school? Hitoshi always carried himself in a very collected manner, and the thought of being able to show up and pinch his cheeks and coo at him made you laugh.
And you knew that everyone in Class 1-A would be over the moon to see Eri. The little girl that had been rescued from Overhaul was popular amongst the young heroes-in-training, from what you’d heard, and if you were going to go all the way to UA, you’d be damned if you didn’t let her see her friends there.
“Of course we can,” you said with a smile as she came running back in, her hair significantly less tangled. “Ready?”
“Ready!” she beamed up at you.
“Do me a favor and carry this?” you offered her the tote you’d tucked the bento boxes into and she took it from you eagerly, bouncing towards the door.
You grabbed your purse, made sure your keys were inside, and followed her out, taking her free hand. Together, the two of you made your way to the nearest train station, a few neighbors waving hello as you passed. There were no villains to be seen or head of, and the pros you saw out on patrol all looked happy and relaxed. They all knew who you were, some of the betas and omegas approaching to chat about your pregnancy and ask how things were going. The alphas hung back, calling greetings or offering waves, none of them wanting to get too close to a pregnant, mated omega and risk the wrath of your alphas if their scents happened to cling to you.
The journey went smoothly, Eri sticking close to your side the entire way. You were both excited to be going to visit UA--Eri, because she would get to see Deku and Mirio, and you because you hadn’t been to the school in years--and as you stepped off the train and the gates finally came into view, you let out a happy laugh.
“Ready?” you asked Eri, leading her towards the entrance.
“Mhm!” she nodded eagerly, pulling you forward. “Let’s go! Let’s go let’s go let’s go--”
“Hang on, hang on,” you waddled after her as quickly as you could, fishing around in your purse. When you finally found what you were looking for, you pulled out an ID card, holding it up towards the sensor atop the UA Barrier gate. “You have your card?”
“Yep!” Eri said, grabbing the card hanging from the lanyard around her neck and mimicking you.
“Special ID accepted,” a robotic voice chimed. “Welcome to UA High, (y/n) and Eri.”
The gate opened and you led Eri through it, the big school looming just past it. The special ID cards you both had were a result of Shota insisting that you be able to get to UA if you ever needed to. With the upgraded security measures, and so many of the students living in the dorms, it wasn’t easy getting onto the campus without either a student or guest card. You probably technically weren’t even supposed to have one, but no one was going to argue with Aizawa and Yamada when it came to ensuring their omega would be able to get to them in case of emergency.
This wasn’t exactly an emergency, but it was still an important mission, so you had absolutely no qualms about using your special ID privileges today. You just hoped nobody else would be mad about it.
 “Hey, is that Eri I see?” a voice called.
You turned to see a blond haired, blue eyed boy jogging towards you and recognized him as Togata. He was dressed in a PE uniform, and as he stopped in front of you, you could see that he was panting.
Eri immediately set the bag down and rushed toward him, running into his open arms. “Lemillion!”
Mirio laughed as he scooped her into a hug. “What are you doing here? Aizawa didn’t mention anything about a visit!”
“Aizawa forgot his lunch today,” you said, nodding towards the bag Eri had dropped. “So we thought we’d bring it and visit.”
Mirio straightened up a bit when he realized you were there. You had to be absolutely covered in your alphas’ scents, and even if they never told any of the students about you, there was no way that Mirio hadn’t figured it out by now. Besides...your bond marks were very big and very visible, one on each side of your neck just below your scent glands. There was no way Mirio didn’t know what that all added up to.
You had never officially met him, but you’d heard plenty about all of UA’s Big Three, and after he and Deku saved Eri from the Shie Hassaikai, you’d heard even more about him. He was selfless, going so far as to sacrifice his own quirk to keep Eri safe and get her away from Overhaul, and for that, you’d always feel a little indebted to him. He’d luckily been able to get it back, but Aizawa had told you that there had been a long period in which nobody was sure it could even be returned to him.
“Oh, s-sorry!” he bowed to you. “I don’t think we’ve ever been properly introduced! I’m Togata Mirio, I was there at the Shie Hassaikai raid--”
“I’ve heard plenty about you,” you laughed as he straightened up again. “I’m (y/n). I’m the stay at home omega that keeps Shota and Hizashi from starving all the time.”
Mirio’s laugh was probably one of the most raucously happy sounds you had ever heard. “We’re all grateful for that! As for me, personally, I’m really glad Eri has such a great mom now, too. And you’ve got more on the way!”
“Sure do,” you groaned, a hand on your lower back as you tried to lean and stretch it out some. “Due date’s in just a couple weeks. Can’t wait to get ‘em outta here.”
“Well, at least you already know how to do the parenting part!” Mirio was still all smiles as Eri grabbed for his hand and he took it, picking up the tote bag as well. “Come on, it’s my free period so I’ll take you to 1-A’s classroom.”
“Thank you, Togata,” you said, hand on your belly as you followed him into the school.
“It’s no problem!” he beamed at you over his shoulder as he led the way. “It’s almost lunch, too. Perfect timing!”
“Is it really?” you glanced up at a clock on the wall, and sure enough, it was nearly noon. “Wow. Guess we took longer than I thought. But...ugh, I didn’t bring any food for myself or Eri...”
“That’s no problem! Lunch Rush always has tons of options in the Grand Mess Hall.” at your slight glare, Mirio added, “...But I’m sure even his best cooking is no substitute for a homemade meal!”
“That’s right,” you growled, waddling along down the hall.
When the three of you reached the 1-A door, Mirio used his permeation quirk to stick his head straight through it rather than knocking, and judging by the resounding scream of surprise that nearly shattered the windows, he had scared Hizashi half to death.
Mirio pulled back and opened the door, revealing a room full of groaning students, all clutching their ears. Hizashi was the only one who seemed unbothered by the sheer volume of the scream he had let out, clutching his chest instead.
“Why can’t you knock like a normal person, dumbass?” a blond boy snarled.
“Bakugou! You shouldn’t swear in front of esteemed upperclassmen!” a black-haired boy with glasses said.
“It’s not just me you’re swearing in front of!” Mirio said, still smiling, like always. With a nod of his head, he tugged Eri into the room.
Everyone lit up, and you even caught Bakugou’s harsh expression softening some at the sight of her.
“Eri!” a freckly, green haired boy exclaimed, jumping up from his seat.
“Deku!” the little girl yelled happily, letting go of Mirio’s hand to run towards him.
You watched as he knelt down to greet her, the rest of the class all getting up, or at the very least leaning over in their seats to say hello. All except Hitoshi, who looked up, made eye contact with you, started to roll his eyes, and then sighed.
Oh, you were so going to embarrass him today.
Hizashi was still trying to catch his breath, but now, with the students all distracted by Eri, he finally had a chance to notice you. You could see his nostrils flare as he recognized your scent, his head whipping around to spot you standing there in the door.
“BABE!” he rushed toward you, pulling you into a hug.
“Hi, Hizashi,” you laughed into his shoulder, clinging to his jacket as he rubbed his scent gland over your hair.
He immediately pulled back, holding you at arm’s length as he looked you over. “What’re you doing here? Everything okay?”
“I’m fine,” you chuckled. When he glanced down at your swollen belly, you added, “we’re fine.”
He let out a relieved breath. “Okay. Okay, good. Had me worried there for a sec.”
“They came to bring you lunch!” Mirio said, holding up the bag he had carried in for you. “I ran into her and Eri outside while I was out for my daily jog.”
“Togata here was very helpful,” you said. “He even carried that bag for us.”
“Gotta help everyone who needs it, whenever I can!” the teenager gave you a thumbs up.
“Thanks, Mirio.” Hizashi said, putting an arm around your shoulders and pulling you up against his side. “Means a lot to me that my family stays safe.”
“Family?”
You turned to see all of Class 1-A staring at you.
Hizashi cleared his throat, the sound practically echoing. “Everybody, this is my mate.”
The room suddenly erupted.
“Who is she?”
“Is she a pro?”
“Can’t believe anybody would put up with him...”
“Bakugou, quiet! Don’t be rude!”
“But, wait...” Deku said, still kneeling with Eri. “I thought Eri’s been living with Mr. Aizawa..?”
The students all glanced to each other before their eyes swiveled to you and Hizashi.
“Oh, Hizashi,” you teased. “You never told them?”
“I, uh...” a slight pink tinged his cheeks as he blushed.
Luckily, before he had the chance to stumble over his words any longer, he was saved by the appearance of a very tired, very disgruntled, Eraserhead.
“What the hell is going on and why the hell are you screaming in my classroom?” he growled from the doorway.
Hizashi turned the two of you to face him, and you saw the anger immediately drain from Aizawa’s face.
“...What are you doing here?” he asked, his bloodshot eyes full of concern. “Everything okay?”
“Hi, Papa!” Eri chimed from her spot next to Deku.
“...Hello, Eri. Why are you also here?”
“You both forgot your lunches,” you said, practically scolding them. “I worked hard on those!”
So you came all the way here just to bring us lunch? You realize we have an entire cafeteria here, right?”
“Don’t even think about it,” you growled.
“You shouldn’t be walking across Musutafu without at least Hitoshi with you. It’s too dangerous.”
At the mention of his name, everyone’s heads swiveled to look at Shinso. He sighed, slumping back in his chair and dragging a hand down his face.
“You know, if you wouldn’t forget the lunches that I so lovingly put all that hard work into, I wouldn’t even have to go all the way across Musutafu to bring them to you.” you said haughtily, nose up in the air as you stared your alpha down. “And besides...you know better than anyone that I can take care of myself, and Eri, no matter how pregnant I am.”
Aizawa sighed. He knew there was no arguing with you when you got in a mood like this, and besides...you were already there.
And you were right.
Before he could even come up with something to say, the bell rang, signaling that it was time for lunch, and soon, you were walking down the hall between your two alphas, Eri riding on Deku’s shoulders as Class 1-A flooded out along with you.
You ended up sitting in the mess hall with the students, sandwiched between Hizashi and Shota. Shota didn’t seem entirely pleased with it, mentioning several times that he’d much rather be in the teachers’ lounge where it was quieter, but Eri was far too happy to be with Class 1-A for him to actually tear her away from them. She was across from you, sitting next to Deku and a brown haired girl you learned was named Ochako. Mirio had left to go find his own friends, the other two members of The Big Three, and you could see him just a few tables over, laughing loudly with a blue haired girl with a boy with pointy ears looked like he was trying to will himself out of existence next to them.
“It’s so exciting that Mr. Aizawa has a whole family!” Ochako said.
“And with Present Mic, too,” Tsu, the frog girl, said from her spot next to her.
“How long have you been together?” the pink girl, Mina, asked.
“Don’t ask so many personal questions! We should respect their privacy.” Iida said, in true class rep fashion.
When Shota only offered a grunt in reply, too focused on his lunch to actually talk with his homeroom class, and with Hizashi already stuffing his face, you took it upon yourself to chat.
“Oh, I don’t mind the questions!” you said with a good natured laugh. “I met Hizashi and Shota when we all went to school together. Then we lost touch, because I...well, I sort of...chose a different life path than they did.”
“That’s one way to put it,” Hizashi slurped up his soba.
“Here.” you looked up to see Hitoshi had brought you and Eri each a tray of food, setting them down in front of the two of you.
“You’re so good to your mother,” you cooed, reaching up to grab his cheek.
He dodged you expertly, ducking out of the way and going to sit with Bakugou and his friends on Deku’s other side. You narrowed your eyes at him, making sure he knew that he couldn’t run forever, and as Denki watched the exchange, he spoke up.
“...Wait. You didn’t become a pro hero?” he asked.
“I took the hero course here at UA.” you explained, grabbing your chopsticks. “I ended up dropping out before graduation. This is actually my first time back since then.”
“So...” Deku seemed nervous. “Were you, uh...”
“A villain?” you asked.
When he nodded quickly, you laughed and offered a nod of your own.
“Yeah, I suppose I was. My quirk used to be wild, and hard to control...I got so frustrated when I wasn’t making any progress with it that I decided to just leave school. I was mad at everyone, and I fell in with people who felt the same way. One thing leads to another, and next thing you know, I’m running from the loudest, most obnoxious pro hero in the city.”
Everyone’s eyes turned to Hizashi, who was doing his best not to choke on his lunch.
“And he never caught me,” you said adoringly, leaning against his shoulder.
“I never caught you on my own,” he corrected.
“Made my ears bleed a few times, I think.”
“Yes, and I don’t regret that.” he pressed a cute, fluttery little kiss against the tip of your nose. “You were absolutely going to kill me.”
“Not absolutely!” you protested.
“I had to rescue him.” Aizawa spoke up, his voice gruff and tired, like always. “Had to cancel your quirk and keep you tied down until the others could get to us.”
You smirked at your first memory of his scarf and what it could do, and as you did so, he realized that he had just admitted to tying you up with it in front of his idiot students.
“And that’s when I fell in looooove,” you grabbed his arm, batting your lashes at him obnoxiously.
“Not another word.” he growled.
The students were all staring at you with wide eyes. All except Hitoshi, who was rolling his.
“I guess you could say I was reformed,” you said, grabbing some noodles. “Then one thing led to another, and...here we are.” You patted your belly.
“That’s so romantic,” Mina sighed, leaning her chin on her hand.
“What’s your quirk?” Ochako asked.
“I could show you!” you said eagerly, moving to stand.
“Absolutely not.” Shota held onto your arm and forced you to sit down again. “You are due in two weeks. No nonsense until after the pups are born.”
It was your turn to roll your eyes now.
“Fine,” you mumbled with a sigh. “I never get to have fun anymore.”
“But pups are so exciting!” the invisible girl, Hagakure, said.
“Yeah!” Mina agreed.
Then, the rest of the girls bombarded you with questions.
“How many are you having?”
“What day are they coming?!”
“Can we meet them?”
“Mr. Aizawa, please can you bring them in to the dorms??”
“--But Mr. Aizawa, this is the safest place in Japan. There’s no way anything bad would happen to them--”
“--And besides, (y/n) has a super strong quirk, right? She said so!”
“Come on, just let us see the brats when they’re old enough to travel.”
The sound of Bakugou’s voice had everyone staring at the blond boy.
“...What?” he bristled. “It’s not like I care, I just want the girls to shut up.”
“Uh huh. Sure, Bakugou.” Kirishima snorted.
“...maybe.” Aizawa relented, eager to shut them all up.
That was enough for the girls, and they immediately began talking chattering about the cutest baby clothes, the best toys, and then the differences between their own upbringings. You enjoyed listening to them throughout the rest of lunch, and by the time the hour had ended, you were sad to be leaving.
“Hang on, hang on,” Hizashi said as you took Eri’s hand to leave. “Where do you think you’re going?”
“Home,” you furrowed your brow. “Why?”
“We told you,” Shota said, standing with his hands in his pockets. “We don’t want you wandering around the city.”
“And I told you, I’m fine--”
“Just stay here for the rest of the day.”
“...What?”
“We’ll all go home together later.” Hizashi smiled. “You and Eri can hang out in the lounge. I bet Midnight would love to pester you about the bump, too.”
You smiled, walking towards your alphas. “Alright. Alright, yeah. That sounds nice.”
As Class 1-A lingered at the end of the hall, watching for as long as they could get away with, Denki elbowed Hitoshi in the side.
“Dude, your mom is--”
“Don’t you dare say hot.” Shinso growled.
“Actually, I was gonna say badass, but that too--”
The purple haired boy glared at him. “Shut up, Denki.”
“What? It’s a compliment!”

Hizashi and Aizawa kidnapping a young teenage girl, and her bonding and quickly finding comfort with Hizashi, leaving Aizawa to awkwardly attempt at being super soft and all the more gentle to his sensitive little girl, his heart panging with pain every time she flinches or cowers away from him. “You don’t need to be scared of me, kitten.. please”
your little acts of favoritism weren’t necessarily intentional, you hated both of them. they were your brothers teachers, and whoop dee doo, they kidnapped you. but... you liked hizashi more.
it was just something about him that made you believe he was some form of comfort item, probably because he wasnt brooding, and didnt have a mean face, and he was the first human yud ever seen in this place, that all combined into one and he became your rock, your shoulder to cry on. he was just... so nice, although his quirk was loud, somehow he managed to speak softly with you. it was such a bright contrast to at home where two firey blondes always scream at each other, and your father tries to calm it down.
on your first night ever here, you had tried to jump out the window, and were captured by the thick scarves you once admired, hed lectured you, yelled at yiuu even, all you could see were those red eyes of his, and hear his voice. and he scared you, he scared you so much. i guess it justtranslates to now, first impressions are everything, and to you, he looked like a big scary man who would yell at you.
eventually, you stopped caring about how you hated him, or how you wanted to leave, as you clearly never were. so, instead of glaring at them, or crying, you accepted the fact that he was taking care of you. hizashi, hizashi was taking care of you... aizawa though? no way in hell, he was just so... you'd never seen him with a smile, he never tried to talk to you, he just kinda watched you, and it freaked you out, at some point you started believing he was trying to kill you, don't even ask how you came up with that conclusion.
you just couldn't manage to warm up to hi as you'd done so quickly with hizashi, and it showed. you were always tense when alone with him, like he was going to jump out at you any second and stab you, you didnt talk to him , sometimes you felt so anxious around him that you would outright start crying, shaking in some form of fear, or hide yourself under a blanket. although hizashi was proud that you loved him so much, he knew that this was hurting his husband, that his own little girl was scared of him.
so he would always try to coax you into doing things with him, saying things like "can your papa come and help" or "how about we have papa do this with you while I make lunch?", just trying to get him included so you would feel just as comfortable around him as you were with his own self. Sometimes he just left the room to let you have alone time with him. He’d even lectured his husband about how he always looked angry, and that he has to smile form time to time, and not the creepy “I’m gonna kill a villain” smile.
And so Aizawa started trying, not trying to be like hizashi, even that was too much for him, but trying to be nicer, he was a gentle person when he wanted to be, so this came with ease for him, he would tuck you in at night, read you stories, hold you if you cried, feed you, help you bathe (which you usually liked hizashi to do, and in general, inserted himself as a gentle roger in your life. You would expect taht this would work, that because he was so nice to you, because he was so sweet like hizashi, you would accept him as your father.
But nope! Again, first impressions are everything to you, and now, he was written off as the villain of you story, now, you jsut ran off to papa whenever he was around, and didn’t even give him the chance to hang around you, it just made it worse honestly, because now, not only did he look scary, but he also looked fake, which is never good. Every time he would try to if you, you would clutch onto hizashi for dear life, acting like his hand would do nothing but burn you.
Tears would cloud your vision, and he would pulle back, not wanting to cause you any more pain, and jsut stare in. Pure jealousy at his husband, who cooed and gave you a hug.and guess what? You hugged him back, and hid yourself in his chest, willingly, without a fight, without a tear, instead with a smile, most of the times mic wouldn’t interfere, wbatigg ns this to everyone a safe space for you, a place where you should naturally do things, but sometimes, he would give you little bushes int he right direction. Like disappearing completely for my he house so you’ll be forced to talk to Aizawa.
This is one of those times.
Yo been wandering the house for about ten minutes now, waking up form a nap, to find mic absent from his usual place in the rocking chair at your bedside. It was a little after lunchtime, and they’d only given you a small cup of fruit for breakfast (intentional, from mic), you were fairly hungry, and usually he was there to give you food, but you had no idea where he was, you had heard the… other one on the phone in their shared office, but you did not want to talk to him right now.
Aizawa could tell you were awake by the fact that all of the cats were meowing like crazy, and little pattering footsteps had followed his hearing around, mic had left abruptly, probably some little plan of mischief again, he was hizashi after all. He was just waiting for you to either 1: go back to bed, or 2: come to him for help. Mic had specifically told him to follow these rules for after nap time, so he did. And grew progressively more worried as over twenty minutes, trying to read through his students grading work, too distracted by the urge to go find you to accomplish anything.
His worries dissipated though when he saw your little head poking through the door, cat in hand, confused and tired looking, small tears beginning to prick th corners of your eyes, little sniffling sounds left you. His wha specked up form the desk, you’d given up walking around the whole house, your restarting had slowly pent up, you couldn’t manage to find him, and you were so hungry.
“Oh- hey honey, I didn’t know you were up. Do you need something?” He questioned, smiling intently at you, you just inched back into the door frame, breathing heavier by the moment, your hands shook and your head felt like it was going to explode at any point. Youbcontenoajted runnign back to your room and waiting till mic came out where you could hear him, but your stomach grumbled, reminding you how hungry you really are.
“I’m- im looking for daddy. Where is he.” You spoke, a very hushed tone overtook your words, making them almost inaudible for him. His face sunk slowly, he tougher you were actually gonna come for him, but the he remembered taht patience is key, and that he shouldn’t get mad, because it is t your fault taht you’re just a little sensitive, too fragile to handle more than one attachment, he gets it. He jsut at least wanted you to look at him, instead did your little feet, I’m Ayer if you could meet his eyes the. You would see how much he loves you.
“Oh, he left a. Little while ago. Is there something you need from him? Your papa can give him a call if you want, you could even talk to him!” He exclaimed excitedly, plastering that happy smile across his face to seem more inviting, liek mic had told him to do. He stood out of his chair, rounding up the papers and putting them in his file folders.you tried to sink back furthers, almost disappearing behind the doorway, you shook your head aggressively, almost running off, then yet again, your stomach made another noise, and forced you to stay.
“I- no. I’m- im hungry-“ you spluttered, not caring if it was embarrassing that you were stuttering so much, you just wanted food. And calling mic would just get you a lecture on how you could’ve just asked your papa, the same thing would happen whenever you went to uncnecesary lengths to avoid the man, your daddy would make sure you knew that it made him feel bad, while you’d at there bored. Not caring, at all.
“Oh- well you should’ve told me sooner kitten, if I’d known I would be up already. Cmon, let’s go to the kitchen, your daddy made you some food earlier” he spoke, rising from his chair slowly, you cowered slightly as he walked over, clutching the little kitten right to you for comfort, he mewed and snuggled closer, completely asleep. The man sighed when he saw you backing away from his grasp, he knew you were still scared. But he was just so impatient… he was tired of waiting, he wanted to hold you, even if it was jsut foena few minutes. He needed it feel you there with him.
Is he acted quickly, moving in a matter of seconds, he swooped his arm under your leg, and hooked his other around your torso, pulling you straight up into his grasp. Youu huh froze, his hands felt cold as ice on your skin, like they were burning you, immediately after he started walking, it snapped you out of it and you threw a fit. You dig your fingernails into his skin, and kicked and flailed in a panic, still trying to keep the little kitten in your lap safe. A full blown panic washed over you, clogging all your senses.
The dam holding back tears form your eyes crashed, and immediately you were sobbing, biting at his shoulder to let you go, he tried to rub your back to calm you down a bit, but just made it worse, as his hands felt like living anxiety creeping up and down your spine. He didn’t know what to do, let you ride it out, andkk no possibly have you get sick because of how much your crying in an empty stomach? Or let you down and go straight back to square one.
Your veined felt like pure ice had flooded in them, and it felt liek someone was repeatedly jabbing you in the head with tiny needes, fear was jsut so prominent in your sense, it overcame you, and made you whimper and scream.
“Whoah, breath for me alright? I just want to hold you. I’m not going to hurt you okay? I would never hurt you. Kitten… you don’t have to be scared of me” he spoke, trying to keep a proper computers, he wanted to cry with you, he wasn’t a very soft or emotional man but honestly, he was so upset with himself already, this was jsut pushing him for the edge. You cried, and cried, at some point you weren’t even crying and screaming at him, more with him. He held you close, you’d stopped the struggle almost five minutes ago, letting him hold you. It was odd. It almost felt… nice.
“I-I’m sorry. I’m being stupid again” You alien through your remaining little hiccups, shove my your face into his shirt, smelling the woody scent he carried around with him. He cooed, letting you hide yourself from him, savouring this soft moment was of top priorirty in his head… you jsut looked so sweet, so different from those harsh cries that would sound usually whenever he came around.
Who would think, shouts aizawas hand couldn’t feel nice? The same ones that had just been burning you, the ones that made you scream, felt like a breeze on a spring day, he actually felt warm, he felt like happiness, like contentment.
“No hon, it’s not stupid. Your scared. I know that, we all get scared and it’s not a bad thing, I love you, I really, really love you kitten. Just know that” he continued on with his little speech, leaving down to kiss you in the forehead, Jsut to be suprised when you didn’t flinfh, you were too tired to be scared; and too hungry, plus, he was really warm, the cat had pretty much snuggled up to him already, who says you shouldn’t.
“I- um- I love you… to?” You spoke, more of a question than anything, you’d spent so long Harding him that you didn’t know if you even could love him, it didn’t even feel possible, then again, you litterally cling to hizashi like a koala, and your mental state has relaly said “swoopity swoop” and scattered itself everywhere. Maybe having two comfort items was actually better than one… huh.
“Well, let’s go eat then. All taht crying probably made you tired, I’ll let you watch a movie in my office, you can watch pinto again, I know you love taht one. Cmon, let’s go” he spoke, and started walking again, you cuddled closer to him as he did, smiling slightly at the warmth. Hizashi was very extravagant, exiting, and hyper, this man felt very cool, calm, it was such a dark contrast, but it worked so well. You jsut… you Jsut liked it.
Well… now we’ll just have to wait and see who’s the favorite

Tumblr media Tumblr media
When he was a child, before he even cared about quirks or rankings or strength, Bakugou Katsuki loved holding hands.
No one knew exactly why, but that was just something he liked. He would hold Izuku’s hand while they talked and ran around the neighborhood, he would take his teacher's hand in his ever so softly whenever he walked over to their desk to ask a question. Katsuki would latch onto his dad with the most loving, tiny grip he could muster, and he would even interlace pinkies with his mom when she was having a good day and didn’t deem his manners “too soft”,  “too weak”, “too foolish”. Those were nice days in the Bakugou household.
Bakugou Katsuki was five years old when he had his heart broken for the first time. It was a few weeks after his quirk manifested and he was just so excited to play hero (with a quirk, this time!) alongside his friends after school that he didn’t even hesitate before grabbing Izuku’s hand exactly like he always did, jumping up and down with energy and happiness, rambling about how he was gonna be the number one hero one day — until Izuku screamed, pulling his hand away with a painful expression. Katsuki furrowed his eyebrows, confused at his best friend’s antics, and then he saw it: the raw, burned flesh of his palm.
Katsuki had hurt his best friend.
It’s very easy to fix objects, his dad used to tell him while stitching up one of his ripped shirts, you just get a bit of glue or yarn and you put it back together, a smile graced his lips at the feeling of his son taking his hand immediately after he let go of the sewing needle, but people are a lot harder to patch up, Katsu. People can’t be fixed, sometimes.
He wasn’t exactly sure of when he started shoving his hands inside his pockets, when he started opening doors with his feet and touching people with his shoulders to get their attention. It took him a while to understand that that first occasion wasn’t an accident, and that controlling his quirk when he got too excited or just overly happy was too hard and the security he got from all those tender touches he so eagerly searched from everyone in his life wasn’t worth the risk. The best thing Katsuki could do, for himself and for others, was to keep his hands to himself, even if they felt cold and empty and his big red eyes filled with tears at the loss of such a comforting habit.
He told himself it didn’t matter. You’d have to overgrow that over time, anyway, his mom reminded him at some point. Such childish, silly bullshit. Only softies hold hands, Katsuki, and we both know you’re not a softie.
It was easy to pretend he didn’t miss it. After a few years, the lack of touch was simply another part of his life he consciously chose to ignore, another longing he conditioned himself not to think about. It wasn’t like many people noted his abrupt change in behavior either — there were other things about him that were much more worthy of attention than that, like his killer quirk and quick brain, like his determination and ambition. Who cared about the fact that little Bakugou Katsuki didn’t want to hold hands anymore? Who cared about the fact that little touchy and clingy Bakugou Katsuki now barely touched others?
Such childish, silly bullshit. Only softies hold hands, Katsuki, and we both know you’re not a softie.
He met her during his second year at UA. Y/N was mostly quiet, but still friendly and hardworking, fighting hard for her place as the number one student in Class 2-B. A project involving the two classes put them as partners, and project meetings soon became sparring sessions that turned into study group that led to study dates and then real dates and, by the beginning of his senior year, Katsuki had gotten himself a girlfriend.
He wasn’t certain if she noticed the way he purposely kept his hands out of reach when they walked side by side, or if she ever saw how he always made sure his palms were pointing away from her skin whenever they hugged or cuddled. He didn’t think anyone would ever pay enough attention to him to the point of perceiving his hesitancy. It didn’t matter that Bakugou had gained complete control of his quirk, it didn’t matter that he still felt his skin and his hands tingling with the urge, the craving for touch — the satisfaction wasn’t worth the risk, not the stupid satisfaction he didn’t even need. Such childish, silly bullshit. Bakugou Katsuki was doing very well with letting go of old customs, no doubt.
But Y/N noticed. God, of course she did — she noticed all the longing gazes, all the small flinches. She noticed how he never let his hands touch hers and at first it made her worried. Didn’t he want to touch her? Had she done something wrong? Her boyfriend wasn’t the best at communicating his feelings, even though he had been putting in the effort to talk to her whenever he felt a bit under the weather or bothered.
However, this seemed like a bigger problem, like something he would never speak of unless she brought it up. It seemed deeper.
“Katsu?”
He lifted his scarlet eyes from the book in his hands and turned them to her sitting figure. They were both on his bed, despite curfew starting in less than an hour and the knowledge they shouldn’t be alone in his dorm. To be honest, Aizawa was quite used to watching the Class B girl sneak out of his student’s room every other night, wearing one of his many hoodies and those shorts that she always left in his closet. As long as they weren’t causing him any trouble, Eraserhead didn’t cause them any trouble, either.
“Yeah?” his voice was clearly tired after a day full of training and studying, a hint of sleepiness dripping from his tone.
“How come you never let me hold your hand?”
Katsuki froze on the spot, feeling his heart pick up its pace until it was beating so loud he could hear it by his ear, throbbing. He gulped harshly, sweat immediately gathering up on his hands from his own anxiety. She had noticed?
“What do you mean?” he tried to laugh calmly, but his chuckle sounded forced and nervous. He put the book away.
“You never let me hold your hand,” Y/N’s cheeks were tinted red with shyness. She had been pondering on how to talk to him about this for days now, yet seeing him so flustered made her surprisingly tense. “You avoid touching me with your hands in general, actually,” her chuckle sounded as forced and nervous as his, “is… Is there something wrong? Would you feel better if I stopped touching you so much? Does it make you uncomfortable? Because I really don’t want to make you uncomfortable, Katsu. You can talk to me about things like that, you know it.”
He couldn’t get himself to answer, unable to move or truly process her words. He really thought he had been slick, huh? He really thought she’d never notice, he really thought she’d never care. How would she feel if he told her he was afraid to hurt her, that he was afraid he would lose control of his quirk and burn her somehow, like he had done with Izuku all those years ago? Would she think he was childish and silly, too? Such childish, silly bullshit, Bakugou Katsuki scared of holding hands with his girlfriend, scared of touching her and holding her like she deserved to because what if it went wrong? What if he fucked it up? The best thing Katsuki could do, for himself and for others, was to keep his hands to himself, even if they felt cold and empty and his big red eyes filled with tears at the loss of such a comforting habit.
People are a lot harder to patch up, his father told him. He didn’t want to be guilty of screwing this up, didn’t want to destroy the relationship he cherished so, so much. Would she think he was weak for being this reluctant? Would she laugh at his stupid antics and tell him to grow up and stop being such a softie? Would she get mad? Should he even tell her?
“Katsu?” her soft voice relaxed his muscles like it habitually did, and he sighed deeply before meeting her worried eyes. “Talk to me?”
Y/N had always had this amazing talent of making him feel at ease. Ever since they met, so many months ago, she had this blinding quality that urged him to be quieter, calmer, less defensive. She didn’t even have to try tearing down his walls — they simply melted away when she smiled at him for the first time. He had never really talked about this issue with anyone else before, and he didn’t know how to even start, but Y/N made him want to try. Still, the words felt heavy on his tongue.
“I don’t know what you’re talking about,” he muttered so quietly that she leaned in to hear him, furrowing her eyebrows in disagreement.
“Come on, Katsu. Please?”
He inhaled deeply. She stared patiently, waiting for him to organize his own thoughts enough to explain the thousands of things running through his mind. When his eyes met hers again, he felt warm all over. Katsuki loved the way she looked at him — there was no fear, no ulterior interest, no nonsensical admiration. She looked at him and she saw… Katsuki. Just that. And, strangely, that seemed enough.
The boy averted his eyes from hers. “I don’t want to hurt you with my quirk.”
Oh. Oh? That, well, that was definitely unexpected. The crease in Y/N’s eyebrows deepened.
“Why would you ever hurt me, Katsuki?”
The future hero lifted his head to look at her instantly, confusion swimming in his red gaze as he answered, “I mean by accident, Y/N. I—,” he almost stopped himself right there, yet her expression caused him to continue, “I really liked holding hands when I was younger, you know? With my friends, teachers, family, and all that,” his ears were bright pink with embarrassment that subsided when she smiled softly at the new information, “it made me feel safe or whatever. Then I—then I got my quirk and, sometimes, when I held hands with people it just—,” he exhaled heavily before letting out a sad, defeated laugh, “I have burned a nasty amount of people. I don’t want to do that with you, too. I’d never want to hurt you.”
Katsuki was hardly a vulnerable person. He tried to be, yes, because he wanted this to work and for it to work he had to meet her halfway somehow during certain moments, but it was so, so difficult. It was so difficult for him to open up and talk about one of his biggest insecurities of all time, about one of the things he most craved for. He didn’t want to scare her away.
“Katsuki.” Her tone was serious and she stared at him with such intensity that he lost the ability to breathe for a second. “I understand where you’re coming from, but that’s bullshit.”
Bakugou blinked. “What?”
“You’d never hurt me, okay? I know you wouldn’t. I trust you, Katsu, so much. I’m sorry I didn’t ask you about this before,” she bit her lip thoughtfully while he could only stand there, dumbfounded with her reaction.
Out of all his imagined worst-case scenarios, this was a surprise.
“Katsu,” the girl called to him again, smiling lovingly in that way that made his world spin in its axis when they first met, “do you trust me too?”
“Of course I do,” there was no hesitation this time. Of course he did.
“Can I touch your hands?”
Once again, he froze on the spot. She looked at him expectantly.
People are a lot harder to patch up. She was trying, though. She was really trying to fix the ripped pieces of himself he tried to bury under anger and seclusion, pretending there was nothing wrong and that this was just how things were supposed to be.
Bakugou looked down at his own hands, studying them carefully. With a last shaky exhale, he nodded.
She took his hands in hers, letting her fingers interlace with his cautiously so as to not startle him. Her thumb caressed his palm ever so softly and he fought the instinctive flinch that threatened to push her away. After years without it, this type of touch felt too intimate, too close, too new.
He liked it.
He smiled.
“See? Nothing to worry about.” Y/N smiled back, grinning when he took it upon himself to squeeze her hand in appreciation. “You’re fine, Katsuki. I like holding your hand.”
His smile grew wider and he leaned in to kiss her, living for the feeling of her fingers squeezing his while their lips moved slowly. They had kissed a million times before, yet this felt different. If given the chance, Katsuki probably wouldn’t mind being stuck in that moment forever, with her lips on his and his hands on hers — Y/N had melted away all his walls and defenses from the start, and he was incredibly glad. He was incredibly glad for her.
His heart was beating fast inside his chest, especially when she pulled one of his hands up slightly to let it cup her face. A shiver went down his spine as he felt the curve of her jaw under his fingertips, the softness of her skin touching his. When there was not any air left in their lungs, they parted from each other. She turned her face to kiss his palm affectionately and his entire face seemed to burst with love and gratitude.
“I like holding your hand, too.”
She giggled, and, for the first time, Bakugou felt like it’d be alright if he decided not to keep his hands to himself. Such childish, silly bullshit, waiting around when he could’ve been holding hands this whole time.

When Katsuki comes to, he is washing some stairs.”Wha-? This again? You’ve got to be forking kidding me.” He stood up, inspecting his clothes, some raggedy top, and pants, which at least is not a dress,  and went to a nearby well, staring at his reflection on the water, scowling.
“Kacchan?” He heard Deku’s voice from behind, and the blonde turned to him.
“Deku!” Katsuki said. “As you can see, we are still trapped in this nightmare.” He frowns. “What do we do now?”
“Let’s continue trying to go along with the story, maybe if we do it enough times, we’ll get out of here.” Izuku suggested.
Katsuki growled. “Shut up! What do you know? This is probably your fault since you didn’t have to be at the house in the end.”
Deku frowned. “Oh yeah, Cinderella totally broke through a door like you did.”
The blonde scowled back, blustering and turning to look away from Izuku. “Whatever.”
Which was Kacchan-speak for ‘I’m sorry, you’re right', good thing Deku was an expert at reading his childhood friend. “We should continue trying to go along with the story, this time as much as we can with the original.”
“No way, nerd. I already gave that a try and we are still trapped in this hellhole.” Katsuki argued. “It makes more sense to try and make the story different, if it doesn’t let us move on we can find the reason more easily.”
“What if that just makes us be stuck here forever, Kacchan?” Izuku argued back. “Let’s do it like the story says one more time, then if we are still here we’ll try your thing.”
The blonde frowned but sighed. “Fine.”
Izuku let out the breath he was holding and stared into red eyes. “Thank you.”
Silence hung heavy for a second between them for several seconds. “I’m sorry…” Bakugou mutters, surprising Deku. “You know, for kissing you at the end…”
Izuku blushed furiously. “Oh! Uhm, i-i-it’s ok Kacchan, that actually made us move on, so…”
The implication of the previous statement weighs on them, and the silence only makes heat rise faster and more intensely into Deku’s face. If the kiss was what made them move on, did that mean they would have to again until they were out of there?
The most obvious answer was there, if they were in Snow White, like Izuku suspected, that meant they had to kiss to be able to continue with the story.
“Wh-What story are we in anyway?” Katsuki asked if only to fill the silence.
“O-oh, I think we are in Snow White.” Izuku reasoned.
“How are we meeting so early then, isn’t the prince supposed to kiss snow white at the end?” The blonde tried to remember.
“No, I think they met right at the start of the Disney movie.” Izuku explained.
“Crap I can’t remember.” The taller teen rubbed his hand on his face. “How am I going to go along with the story if I can't remember how it goes?”
The green-haired boy bit his lip, he couldn’t blame Kacchan, apart from this being a stressful situation, it has been a long time since either of them either saw the movies or read any books with fairy tales on them. “I think I know how it goes, just make sure to go near the forest and run away from the huntsman and look for a small house, it belongs to some dwarfs.” He explains. “Make sure they let you stay, cook and clean for them or something, the evil queen will look for you, to kill you, she will give you an apple, bite it, I’ll take care of the rest and then we’ll ride off to the sunset.”
“My prince.” Katsuki said sarcastically, and Izuku glared, but his cheeks felt hot. “I got it, I got it, I’m just tired of cleaning stuff, like I knew old men hate women in these stories and think their only use is to cook and clean, I get it, old news, but it’s annoying as heck, you know?”
“I get it Kacchan, I’m sorry, but I really think that we can get out if we follow the script as much as we can.”
“Yeah, except we can barely remember how it goes, you lame nerd, even just talking like this can change the story.” The fiery teen started to raise his tone. “We’re already doomed.”
Izuku cringed. “You’re right, but there must be plot points that make us move on, you know like in Cinderella, the background repeated until we did what it wanted, to move on we need to keep doing just that.” He tried to placate the other man. “This is the best plan we have right now, just go with it until we can think of something better.”
Katsuki stands staring at the other teen for a few seconds, glaring, but pondering what was said all the same. “Fine, but we better get out of this, or I’m going to explode.” He turned away and started walking toward the palace. “See you later, nerd, don’t you dare die.” He closed the doors, leaving Izuku staring.
The wardrobes the stories were putting the blonde in were killing him, he looked so handsome, even in dresses. Now the blonde wasn’t exactly wearing a dress, but elements of it were clearly borrowed, Kacchan was in rags but still looked amazing.
Izuku shook his head, this was not the time to be fawning over Kacchan, he turned around and left the grounds of the palace, unsure of what to do with himself. Jesus, fairy tale princes really were useless and had one shitty line, like Kacchan had said, though maybe like this, he could look for clues.
He looked down and sighed, even his clothes were boring.
۵⚜-The Beauty and the Deku-⚜۵
Katsuki changes his clothes because he is not staying in some ugly rags, besides he is 70% sure Snow White wasn’t dressed so badly, she needs to be marketable, little kids wouldn't buy merch of her if she looked ugly right?
He went near the forest, as Deku had said, and sat on a rock, at least the scenery was always interesting in these stories, as Katsuki had never gone out of Japan, he could almost pretend he was visiting Europe or some shit.
“I’m sorry, princess.” Said a voice, which startled the fuck out of the blonde.
“Jesus fu-!” Katsuki turned around to find Rikido Sato, from his class. “Sato?! You are the huntsman?”
The other man’s eyes widened. “You know my name?!” His eyes watered. “The queen has never called me by my name.”
Katsuki hadn’t either until just then, but he wasn’t about to say that to a man with a weapon while he remained quirkless. “Yes, of course I know your name!” He lied, he was lucky with Sato’s last name, he was between Sato and Sota. “I’m going to be the next ruler of this kingdom, and you my loyal subject.” He was talking out of his ass. “How could I not know your name?”
Sato dropped the knife. “I can’t do it!” He cried. “The queen is trying to kill you, your best option is to run as far as you can and hope she never finds you!”
Katsuki stood up from the ground and scrubbed the dirt off his clothes. “Right, thank you, I guess, for not killing me or whatever.” He jogged into the forest, enjoying it more than he normally would, maybe because it had been a while since he had been able to make one of his mornings runs.
At some point, his foot got tangled on some tree roots and he came crashing to the ground. “Argh!” He exclaimed. “Dumb tree, dumb story, dumb Deku!” He raged, and sat on the ground, finding the cabin could wait. As he lay on the ground feeling sorry for himself he felt small tweets from above, and slowly, animals from the forest came out and stared at him.
The blonde groaned. “One of you better not be Dunce face or Hair for brains.” He couldn’t take any more woodland animals as his friends, although thankfully it seemed none of them was anyone he knew. “What are you doing here then, If not to torture me?”
All the animals started to walk toward somewhere, and Katsuki, having nothing better to do went with them, only to find the small house Deku talked about. He opened the door, finding the insides absolutely filthy. And as much as Katsuki had complained he disliked cleaning, he disliked even more letting it stay filthy.
‘Fucking fine’ He thought because only in his mind he could use his favorite words. “You win, stupid Deku, I’ll clean this pigsty.” Katsuki picked up a broom and started sweeping the comical amounts of dust and dirt, the animals around him started to do the same, and for the first time, he didn’t mind the small woodland animals that seemed to follow him lately.
When he finally finished he realized how tired he was, it had been a few days since he last slept, so maybe now he could take a nap. Bakugou climbed the stairs, peering at the small beds with the dwarf's names, he pushed some of them together so he could fit in and dropped like a log on them, paying no mind to the few small animals that cuddled him, he was too tired for that shit.
He closed his eyes and lost consciousness.
۵⚜-The Beauty and the Deku-⚜۵
“What is that? Is it a ghost?” Said a fearful but familiar voice.
“Ha! There’s no such thing as a ghost.” An angrier voice said.
“Who cares, ghosts can’t touch you, let’s just sleep and be done with it.” Said another voice that sounded just like Aizawa.
With his sleep finally disrupted Katsuki decided to sit up and fuck up anyone who dared wake him. When he rose from the bed, multiple gasps were heard. “What is it now?” He said, the blanket still over his head, which he removed slowly.
When he finally could see, he found seven eerily familiar dwarfs looking at him and gasping once again.
“Prince!” One of them exclaimed. “What are you doing here, young prince?”
Holy shit, this dwarf was All Might. Katsuki gaped at the blonde dwarf, his face a picture of the man’s old glory.
The teen looked at the others, Aizawa, Present Mic, Koda, Kirishima, Kaminari...and Endeavour?!
“Let me guess, you,” Bakugou pointed at Aizawa. “Are sleepy, you,” Present Mic, who let out a very loud sneeze. “Are Sneezy, you,” Koda blushed. “Bashful.” Then Kirishima. “You are Happy, I guess.” Kaminari. “Dunce face, you are obviously Dopy.” Bakugou laughed. “This must be Todoroki’s old man, Endeavour.” The red-haired dwarf fumed. “That leaves you All Might, I guess you are Doc.”
All Might smiled. “Yes, young prince.” He eyed Katsuki as if searching for answers. “What brings you here?”
“Yeah, that, the queen is trying to kill me or something.” The younger man dismissed carelessly.
“The queen is trying to kill you?!” Several of the small men exclaimed.
“Yes, so let me hide here, I’ll cook and clean, or something.” Katsuki forced himself to say.
“Like we would let a stranger stay here in our h-” Endeavour started to say.
“Of course you can stay, my boy!” All Might said. “Isn’t that right?”
“Yeah!” Kirishima, Kaminari, and Present Mic said, Koda blushed, and Aizawa grunted his approval from where he slept.
Endeavour growled.
The next day, after making the seven nuisances breakfast and them lining up at the door to go to the mine, Kirishima took of his stupid hat and watched Katsuki expectantly.
“What do you want.” The blonde said, but he had started to piece what hair for brains was silently asking, the redhead wanted a kiss on his forehead, Bakugou fumed, missing the cracking sound of his quirk. The thing was Snow White obviously did so in the movie, and if he wanted to be truthful with what he promised Deku, he had to kiss the foreheads of these dumbasses and thank god they wouldn’t remember, or at least he hoped so.
He reluctantly kissed Kirishima’s forehead, cringing when the dwarf continued in his way. It didn’t take long for the rest of the short men to follow suit.
Kaminari laughed and thanked him with a teasing smile. Katsuki struggled not to punch with his bare hands. Koda, bless him, just blushed and continued on his way, Aizawa grunted, Present Mic whooped in happiness, and All Might thanked him.
Lastly, there was Endeavour, who Katsuki categorically and morally opposed kissing, as much as he hated the half-and-half bastard his old man was trash and he wasn’t about to ignore that. But he had made a promise to stupid Deku who was probably living it large somewhere as a prince.
Katsuki swallowed his pride if only because he was a man of his word.
He slowly bent to press his lips on Endeavour's dwarfed forehead, closing his eyes to avoid extra trauma, and gave him a lightning-quick kiss.
“It’s not like I wanted you to, brat!” What the fuck? Was Endeavour a tsundere?
Bakugou would never be able to look at the number one hero ever again.
While Katsuki baked a pie in the old-fashioned oven he heard some commotion on the outside. Bristling Katsiki let go of the hot pie and peeked through the window, only to see Shigaraki dressed in black rags and carrying a basket of apples.
Holy fuck, Shigaraki was the queen?!
Katsuki couldn’t help it, he burst out laughing. “You?! Your crusty musty ass is the queen? HAHHAHA” He was nearly crying, Shigaraki looked worse than normal, and that was so hard to do in the blonde’s mind that he had to give the man kudos for surpassing himself.
“W-what? No, I’m no old queen, just an old man offering such beauty an apple.” Shigaraki stuttered, quickly jumping into convincing the teen into taking the blood-red apple in his ugly hands.
Katsuki wiped his tears of laughter. “I’m just, haha, sorry, It’s just been an annoying day.” He explained. “But alright, since you made me laugh so much I’ll take the apple, thank you for the few hours of peace, while that stupid Deku makes it here.” The blonde bit the apple, promptly falling asleep as he heard Shigaraki’s pathetic laugh.
۵⚜-The Beauty and the Deku-⚜۵
Izuku panted as he followed the forest’s animals toward the dwarf's house, where he knew Katsuki was waiting for him, the queen, whoever they were, was probably already chased off a cliff and Kacchan was placed in a crystal case.
He arrived at a clearing, watching as the dwarfs mourned Katsuki’s apparent death.
Wait. Was that Endeavour?! No. No, no time for that, literally everyone they knew was becoming a supporting character in these stories, it was entirely possible Endeavour was too.
...Was he supposed to be grumpy?
Izuku shook his head away from those thoughts and focused on Katsuki’s relaxed face as he slept and the dwarfs took away the glass casing on top of the snoozing blonde. Deku had always wondered why on earth the dwarfs just took off the case for some random prince to kiss the princess? What if it was just some creep? Though he had heard the age of the actual prince was 31, while Snow White was 14, which, what the hell.
Anyways he was getting sidetracked, maybe due to the nerves of having to kiss Kacchan, and the intense gazes the dwarfs were sending the green-eyes teen. He gulped, approaching the other man’s face, suddenly feeling very hot. It's not like they hadn’t kissed before, just two days ago Kacchan had kissed him, and there was always that one time they were 4 and wanted to know what kissing felt like.
However, both times it had been Katsuki who had initiated, not Izuku, Deku had never been the one to kiss someone, and the fact they were not conscious was really bothering him. It was morally incorrect to kiss someone who was unconscious, even if he somewhat knew Katsuki would be ok with it.
He felt dirty, like a 31-year-old prince kissing a 14-year-old girl, well maybe not that dirty.
But still, he did not feel great about this.
Finally, as his lips were millimeters away from Bakugou’s, Deku avoided the pink plump lips of his classmate and kissed the other’s cheek swiftly and reeled back. Katsuki’s eyes remained closed for dreadful long seconds, until red eyes fluttered open, sleepily batting long blonde eyelashes at Izuku.
“Took you long enough, nerd.” Katsuki complained as Deku offered him a hand and a taller teen rose from the adorned crystal bed.
“Sorry Kacchan.” Izuku said, relieved that the kiss on the cheek was enough to wake the other up. “Let’s go?”
Katsuki blinked. “Oh, yeah, you said we now ride into the sunset.”
“I-I mean, y-yeah, that’s how I remember it ended.” Izuku stuttered.
“Thank god.” Katsuki launches himself at Izuku's horse, waving at the dwarfs and animals as Izuku himself mounts it.
“Are you ready?” Izuku said, feeling like he forgot something.
“Yes.” The blonde rushed, a fake smile plastered on his face as he waved. “Let’s go you stupid piece of crap.”
“Right.” Izuku instructs the horse to start moving toward the horizon where a large range of beautiful reds and oranges paint the sky.
“Thank you for nothing!” Katsuki waves again, this time his smile is more genuine as he does a pg version of his usual cursing at the dwarfs and animals that probably don’t hear him due to the distance. “Hope you trip on your horrendous beards and die!”
The green-haired teen sweat drops as Bakugou finally settles down.
That is until he notices the horizon only seems to get further away. “No! Look, we aren’t moving on!”
Deku has to agree, as he notes his surroundings, while the background isn’t repeating, there seems to be no end to the valley even as seconds turn into several minutes. Well, if it isn’t the consequences of my actions, Izuku thought as he meditated the best way to confess why they may be unable to finish the story.
“Darn it!” Katsuki growled in frustration. “I swear I did everything you told me.” He tried to explain. “I even kissed Endeavour’s old geezer head.”
“I know, Kacchan.” Izuku reassured, gulping as he realized he needed to come clean. “It is my fault.” He confessed.
“What?”
“So you know ten minutes ago when I was supposed to kiss you and wake you up from the sleeping curse?”
“Yes…?” Katsuki nodded. “What’s your point?”
“I may or may not have kissed your cheek instead of kissing you in the lips like in the traditional story.” He said sheepishly. “...Sorry...?
Katsuki slowly turns to look at the dumbass he called childhood friend. “What did you just say?”
“...I’m...sorry?” Izuku’s voice got weaker.
“What on earth is your problem?!” Katsuki bellowed, his eyes glowing red. “You SAID that we needed to follow the story to get out, you made me PROMISE I would go along with it just this once.”
The other man cringed. “I know, I know.” He whined. “I’m sorry, it’s just when I had to kiss you, you were unconscious and it just felt wrong since you never explicitly agreed that I could kiss you.”
“It was implied that I wanted to kiss you!” Katsuki yelled and then blushed, Izuku did too. “I mean, it was implied I was ok with it, you bumbling buffoon!” He screeched.
“Buffoon...?” Izuku mumbled as he stared in surprise at red embarrassed eyes.
“Ughhh!” Katsuki said in frustration. “Being this mad without using my quirk is making me lame.” He explained to himself, he took the reins of the still moving horse and yanked it so it stopped. Then he threw his legs over the animal so Bakugou was fully facing Deku. “Let’s just kiss so maybe this can be over, you piece of garbage.”
Katsuki pulled Izuku roughly so their noses were touching. “Don’t think for a second I’m not going to kick your ass into the next century after we get back to UA.”
Before Izuku could respond, their lips smashed together, harder and deeper than necessary, all while he was vaguely aware the world started to crumble and fade into white once again.

My Hero Academia Sentence Starters #71-80
A collection of the MHA sentence starters I’ve done, compiled for the sake of ease. These are all stand-alone stories.
~~~
71) Lee Deku, Ler Todoroki
“Ah – crap!”
Todoroki turned, bursting into laughter when he saw Deku struggling with his shirt, trying to pull it over his head but only managing to get himself stuck. “Were you trying to do that cool ‘take your shirt off in a sexy way’ thing?”
“Shut up!” Deku whined, still wiggling and failing to free himself from his cotton prison. “It’s not like you were looking, anyway.”
Todoroki chuckled. “Do you need help?”
“…yes.”
The peppermint-colored teen walked up to him and gently touched his shoulder to let him know where he was, then paused. Deku’s face was covered up by a dark-colored shirt. He couldn’t see, and his torso was wide open. Those embers that were always simmering within him suddenly became a flame, and Todoroki simply couldn’t resist. He scribbled his fingers over Deku’s ribs.
“Aiiee! S-Shoto, dohohohohohon’t! No fahahahahahair!”
“Hold still,” Todoroki teased, reaching around to grab both sets of ribs and knead his thumbs into the bottoms of them. “I’m helping.”
“No you’re nohohohohohot!” Deku whined, giggling helplessly and still struggling in his shirt, unable to see or move his arms to stop his boyfriend whatsoever. “Plehehehehehease! Dohohohohon’t tickle mehehehe!”
“Oh, baby, how could I resist?” Todoroki beamed at the reactions he pulled from his partner. He tried to resist the urge to go to his hips, but ultimately lost the battle and did so anyway, pressing deep into the hip bones and making Deku shriek and laugh so hard he toppled backward.
“NONONO SHOHOHOHOTO—!!”
Todoroki quickly caught him before he fell completely, holding him in a waltz dip, still scribbling over his hips and waistline with his free hand. “Aww, if you wanted to dance you could have just asked~”
Deku only seemed to laugh harder at that, now trying to get back on his feet – or just fall over and submit to the tickling; he didn’t really care which at this point. “GAHAHAHAHAHAD, SHOTO!! PLEHEHEHEHEHEHEASE!!”
With a chuckle, Todoroki let up on his tickly attack, helping Deku to his feet and out of his shirt at last. As soon as his head was free, the bi-colored boy kissed him with a smile.
*
72) Lee Jirou, Ler Kaminari
“Give it back!” Jirou snapped, reaching into the air to try and grab her sheet music back from Kaminari, who smirked easily down at her. It was nice to have a couple of inches on her in times like these. “You idiot, those aren’t for you to see yet!”
“Yet?” Kami teased, but he purposely began to lower his arm so she could reach her prize. “Aww, did you write a song for me, babe?”
“In your dreams,” she spat, leaping into the air to snatch them back. But just as she was about to storm off, he grabbed her around the waist and skittered his fingers across her belly and sides, and she immediately dissolved into giggles. “Dehehehehenki, nahahahahahahaha!”
“Not gonna lie,” he said into her ear, chuckling at her fruitless attempts to get away. “I baited you on purpose so I could do this to you. I wanted to hear you laugh. It’s been a while, you know?”
“It hahahahahahas not! You h-hehehehear me lahahahaugh all the time!” Jirou protested, gripping his arm with one hand and her sheet music with the other. It was almost so crumpled as to be unreadable at this point. He’d pay for that later, he knew, but it was worth it to hear her giggle like this. Because of him.
“Not like this,” he replied gently, squeezing her sides now. “Not so freely. Not so happily. You work yourself too hard sometimes, you know that, Kyoka?”
She flushed at the use of her first name, crumbling under his relentless but gentle attack. “Fihihihihihine, you wihihihihin! Plehehehease stop!”
Kaminari let her go, placing a kiss on her cheek. “Just remember to take breaks, babe. That’s all I ask.”
She let out a few leftover giggles and sank back into his chest with a contented sigh. “Yeah, okay.”
*
73) Lee Momo, Ler Jirou
“W-Wait, wait – Kyokahahahahaha!” Momo giggled, stopping her own ticklish attack to protect herself from her girlfriend, who had suddenly decided she wanted to fight back for once.
Jirou’s eyes widened with glee. “You’re ticklish, too? Oh my gosh!” She quickly sat up and dug softly into Momo’s sides, gradually pushing her to the ground and straddling her waist. “I never thought you were. This is great!”
“Plehehehehehease!” Momo gripped Jirou’s wrists and squirmed on the floor, her smile wide and nose scrunched up in the absolute cutest way possible. She arched when Jirou squeezed her sides, broke into a squeal when those nails scribbled over her belly. “Kyokahahahahaha! Stahahahahahap!”
“Oh, no way, babe.” Jirou smirked, sliding one hand under her girlfriend’s shirt to scratch teasingly at her navel. “This is gold.”
Momo whimpered cutely in the split second before Jirou finally wiggled her finger into her belly button, drawing a squeal and high-pitched, bubbly, unstoppable giggles from her lips. She dug her heels into the carpet, threw her head back in ticklish agony. “Nohohohohohoho not thehehehehehehere! Baby, plehehehehehease!”
Jirou’s ears went hot. She couldn’t stop smiling, either. “Sorry, lovely. You’re being way, way too cute for me to stop now. Tickle, tickle, tickle~”
Momo lay there giggling for a long, long time.
*
74) Lee Bakugou, Ler All Might
“Let me go!” Bakugou roared, wrestling in All Might’s grip. “Let me at him! I’ll teach that extra to disrespect me!”
All Might sighed. This wasn’t an unusual scenario for the angry blonde, but it certainly got tiring after a while. He held onto the back of the teen’s shirt, unwilling to let him go no matter how he yelled or fought back. “Calm down, young man.”
“Let go of me!”
“Calm down first.”
Bakugou let out a frustrated shout, whirling around to loosen All Might’s grip on him, then trying to take off at a sprint after the poor soul who had offended him. The former pro hero grabbed his arm and pulled him back harshly.
“You need to take a minute,” All Might said firmly, frowning at him. “I’m not joking around.”
“Neither am I!”
All Might rolled his eyes. He’d had just about enough of this attitude. He yanked Bakugou’s arm up above his head and used his free hand to dig into his ribs.
The change in tone and demeanor was instantaneous.
“NO!! NO DON’T DO THAHAHAHAT!!” Bakugou yelled, unable to help the laughter that slipped past him. He began a whole different kind of struggling, trying to reach across his chest to grab the hand tickling him but unable to reach it. “KNOHOHOCK IT OFF!!”
All Might smirked. He dug in a little harder, and finally the blonde twisted in such a way that the pro hero could see his wide, helpless smile. “Ah, much better. No more growling.”
Bakugou’s cheeks turned red. He wrenched his head away. “STOHOHOHOHOP!! ALL MIHIHIHIGHT!!”
“Are you calm?”
“YEHEHEHES NOW STAHAHAHAHAHAP!!”
“Good enough.” All Might finally released him, and Bakugou hunched over in relief, rubbing his face as though trying to physically wipe the grin from it.
“That was a low blow,” he muttered.
“I’m afraid you deserved it, young Bakugou.”
75) Lee Todoroki, Ler Tokoyami
“Not gonna talk, pouty?” Tokoyami scoffed. “I know who will get you speaking.”
Todoroki glanced up when Dark Shadow appeared, quirking a brow in intrigued confusion. How was this creature going to make him spill anything? He got his answer a moment later when Dark Shadow lunged for him, grabbing his arms and pulling them above his head so that Tokoyami could sit in his lap and wiggle his fingers in his belly and sides.
“Gahk! Pffff – no – ahahahahahahahaha!” Todoroki squealed with giggles, trying to move his arms and legs but unable to budge even a little bit thanks to the heft of Tokoyami in his lap and the firm grip of the monster he controlled. “Nohohohohoho! Dohohohohohohon’t – thahahahat’s not fahahahair!”
“What’s wrong?” Tokoyami asked evenly, like he had at least twice before it came to this playful interrogation.
“Nohohohohohothing!”
“Liar.”
“Stohohohohop! I’m not lyihihihing – ah, no! Nohohohohoho! Not THEHEHEHEHEHERE!!” The half-and-half boy shrieked when Tokoyami’s fingers wiggled up into his underarms, making him laugh harder despite himself. The fact that he couldn’t even squirm only made it tickle more. “NO, TOKOYAHAHAHAMI, STAHAHAHAHAHAP!!”
“Better talk.”
“THEHEHEHERE’S NOHOHOTHING TO SAHAHAHAHAHAY!!”
“Very well.” Tokoyami nodded to his partner in crime. “Dark Shadow?”
The creature left Todoroki’s arms and slithered down and around to his feet, dragging his claws up and down the helpless soles, and the peppermint-colored boy laughed so hard he could hardly breathe. It didn’t take long at all for him to start tapping on Tokoyami’s shoulders, signaling his submission.
“OKAY I’LL TAHAHAHAHAHALK JUST PLEHEHEHEHEHEASE STAHAHAHAHAP!!”
Tokoyami did stop, but he didn’t move, and neither did Dark Shadow. “Spill.”
After giggling for several more moments and catching his breath, Todoroki admitted, “I…I failed a test I studied really hard for. It just makes me upset because I put so much work into it.”
“Ah.” The bird boy finally climbed off, Dark Shadow going back to sleep within him. “I can understand your frustration. But being pouty won’t solve anything. Perhaps you should speak with Mr. Aizawa about it. I’m sure he could point you in the right direction for next time.”
Todoroki nodded. “You’re probably right. Thanks, Tokoyami – even if tickling it out of me was cheating.”
Tokoyami just smirked at him.
76) Lee Deku, Ler Shinsou
“Here come the itsy bitsy spiders~” Shinsou teased, touching down moments later on Deku’s ribs under his shirt and moving his fingers around like little spiders crawling all over him.
Deku squeaked and giggled, blushing red and tugging halfheartedly on his makeshift restraints. His hands were bound behind him with one necktie and another had been tied over his eyes as a blindfold, leaving him completely helpless to whatever tickling Shinsou threw his way. And Shinsou intended to throw a lotof tickling his way.
“Tickle, tickle,” the purple-haired boy teased, beaming at his increasingly flustered boyfriend. “What’s the matter, Zuku? Don’t you like the spiders?”
Deku shook his head, though his bright, happy giggles suggested otherwise.
“Oh, well that’s too bad. They sure like you!” Shinsou began spidering a little lower, closer to his waistline. “See? They’re looking for your most ticklish spot, babe~”
“Nohohohohoho,” the greenette whined playfully, squirming beneath the fingers poking and prodding into his belly. “Toshiehehehehehe…”
“Talk to the spiders, Zuku. They’re the ones about to tickle, tickle, tickle you silly~”
Deku sputtered around a burst of laughter when one of Shinsou’s fingers strayed a little further down, slipping under the waistband of his shorts to scribble lightly at the sensitive hollow there. Being blindfolded was making this tickle so much more – but it was also making it a lot more fun, too.
“Uh-oh~ I think they found it~” Shinsou scribbled wildly over Deku’s hips, enjoying the loud shriek he pulled from his boyfriend, followed by bouts of loud, helpless laughter. “Aw, coochie coo, baby~”
“PLEHEHEHEHEHEHEASE, STAHAHAHAHAHAHAP!!” Deku cried, flopping around on the bed like a fish out of water, throwing his torso back and forth in an attempt to lessen the sensations.
“Oh, I’m afraid I can’t do that, Zuku.” Shinsou settled himself even further on his thighs and went for broke, drilling his thumbs into the hollows, making Deku absolutely scream with hysterical laughter. “I suppose you’ll just have to take it~”
77) Lee Bakugou, Ler Todoroki
“The sooner we get this over with, the sooner we can leave,” Todoroki sighed, standing in front of the door with his arms crossed. “Just put it on, you hothead.”
“I’m not putting on the stupid tie,” Bakugou growled, said necktie discarded at his feet. He thrust his hands in his pockets with a scowl. “Move your butt, icy-hot.”
“Not until you put that on.”
“Not gonna happen.”
“It’s a formal event. You have to wear a tie.”
“Like heck I do.”
Todoroki rolled his eyes. “Don’t make me make you put it on, Bakugou. That would just be embarrassing for the both of us.”
“You can’t make me do anything, Mr. Number One Hero’s son!”
That was the wrong thing to say. Todoroki lunged at him faster than the blonde could react, but to Bakugou’s surprise, he didn’t start throwing punches. Instead he found purchase on that spot just below his underarms and dug in relentlessly.
“GAH!! WHAHAHAHAHAT THE—?! NAHAHAHAHA YOU STUPID EXTRAHAHAHA!!” Bakugou screeched with laughter, trying and failing to push Todoroki off of him. “GET OHOHOHOFF!! GET OFF OF MEHEHEHEHEHE!!”
“Put the tie on.”
“NO WAHAHAHAHAHAY!!”
“I won’t stop until you put it on.”
The words sent a sharp shiver down Bakugou’s spine. He renewed his efforts to kick, punch, shove, roll over, or anything else he could do to get Todoroki to stop. But if there were two things he knew for sure, it was that 1) he wouldn’t be able to hold out for more than a minute as long as Todoroki didn’t let up on that spot and 2) Todoroki really, really loved tickling people until they couldn’t take any more.
“FIHIHIHIHIHINE!! FINE I’LL PUHUHUHUHUT IT ON!! TODOROKIEHEHEHEHE!!”
“Promise?”
“YEHEHEHEHEHES I PROHOHOHOHOMISE NOW STAHAHAHAHAHAP!!” Todoroki let up, keeping his fingers wiggling threateningly the entire time Bakugou fumbled with his tie, finally putting it on properly with a huff of irritation. “There. Happy now?”
“I could take it or leave it,” Todoroki said, getting to his feet and leading the blonde out the door. “But I’m happy to tickle you into submission again whenever you want me to.”
*
78) Lee Bakugou, Ler Kirishima
“I didn’t know you had freckles there,” Kirishima remarked, surprised.
Bakugou grunted. “Where?”
“Here.” Kiri began tracing between the light dots on his knees, connecting them with invisible lines. “On your kneecaps.”
“Hrk!” Bakugou jerked his knee out of the redhead’s grip, cheeks pink. “Don’t do that.”
Kiri smiled, gently taking his knee back and sitting on his foot, keeping him pinned in place while he lightly traced on either side of the blonde’s kneecaps. “Why? Ticklish here?”
“Mhmhm!” The blonde pressed his lips together against the giggles, falling back on the bed and covering up his face, his free foot digging into the quilt, kicking now and then but never at Kiri.
“Aw, how cute~” Kirishima started kissing along the area, scribbling his fingers under the soft knee pits. “You have ticklish freckles, baby?”
“Stohohohohohop!”
“But you’re so cuuuute like this!”
“Nohohohohoho!” Bakugou grabbed the hem of his shirt and clutched with everything he had. He was honestly loving the soft, ticklish treatment, but it was driving him mad at the same time. He started pounding a fist into the mattress at his side. “Kiri, plehehehehehehease!”
Kirishima beamed, gently running his hand from the blonde’s ankle to his knee and further up, lightly skittering along the way, keeping him in giggles even as he repositioned them so he was straddling his boyfriend, gradually pinning his arms above his head and kissing his neck. “You’re adorable, Baku-babe.”
“I told you not to call me that – EEEP!!”
Kiri tweaked his ribs again and pressed his hand to Bakugou’s chest, feeling his racing heart and growing encouraged by how he was affecting his partner. “And I told you, you can’t stop me.”
Bakugou tried to sit up, but Kiri used his quirk to hold him firmly in place. The blonde gave an angry little pout. “Come on, Ei. Kiss me already.”
Kirishima giggled, then did just that.
*
79) Switches Mina and Kaminari
“You look so cute!” Denki teased as he held one of Mina’s arms above her head, scribbling into her armpit teasingly. “Look at that big smile!”
“Denkiehehehehehehe!” she whined, trying to twist around to fight him off, but he’d only move with her, keeping her in constant giggles and constantly unable to get him back. “Ehehehehehehehe!”
“Tickle, tickle, Mina~” he dragged his fingers down her ribs to her sides, then around to her belly, all while holding on to her arm. “Do the other guys know you’re this easy to take down?”
“Eheheheheheasy?!” she sputtered indignantly. “I’m lehehehehehetting you win!”
Denki smirked. “Sure you are.”
Suddenly Mina wrenched her arm free, catching him off-guard and whirling to grab onto his sides before he could process her escape, forcing bubbly giggles up out of him as well. Unfortunately for Denki, he was far more ticklish than she was.
“Nahahahahahaha!” The blonde fell unceremoniously to the ground, grabbing onto her arms and trying to push her away as he laughed. “No fahahahahahahahahair!”
“I told you I was letting you win,” she shot back, scribbling wildly over his belly and hips. “You look so cuuuute!”
“Shuhuhuhuhuhut up!”
“But you called me cute! Why can’t I call you cute?”
“It’s dihihihihifferent with yohohohou!”
“Because I’m a girl?” Mina reached behind her to squeeze his knees, enjoying the loud scream she got in response.
“NO NOT THAHAHAHAHAHAT!!” he cried, shaking his head desperately. “YOU’RE AHAHAHAHAHACTUALLY CUTE!! I’M NOHOHOHOHOHOT!!”
Mina gasped dramatically. “Take that back!”
“NEHEHEHEHEVER!!”
“Fine, then.” She leaned down to begin blowing raspberries on his belly, making Denki squeal with renewed hysterics. “I’ll just have to tickle you until you do.”
*
80) Lee Todoroki, Ler Bakugou
“Doesn’t this seem a little unnecessary?” Todoroki asked nervously as Bakugou lifted his arm above his head.
“You’re the one who decided to tackle me like an American football player out there.”
“I was pushing you out of harm’s way, hothead.”
“I never said I wasn’t thankful for that, brain freeze. Now hold still.” Bakugou gently ran his hand down the length of Todoroki’s side, from the middle of his ribs to the bottom, where he’d taken the most impact. The half-and-half hero twitched, making the blonde smile gently. “Ticklish? Or does it hurt?”
“No, j-just ticklish,” Todoroki admitted.
“You’ve got a pretty good bruise right here.” Bakugou ran his hand along his boyfriend’s bottommost rib, making him sputter out a giggle and jerk away. “Heh. What’s the matter, icy-hot? I’m just trying to make sure you didn’t break anything.”
“I’m fahahairly certain I dihihidn’t.” Todoroki tried to pull his arm back down, but Bakugou wouldn’t let him, and when their eyes met the peppermint boy suddenly grew flustered and giggly even before his boyfriend started to push him down onto the bed. “Nohohoho, I’m fihihihine, Katsuki!”
“Are you?”
“Yehehehehes!”
“Hmm.” Bakugou straddled him, holding both arms above his head now, smirking wickedly down at him. He could never get enough of how his presence could make Todoroki a blushing, giggling mess when he got playful like this. “I’d better kiss it to make sure you’ll heal properly.”
“No,” Todoroki whispered breathlessly, smiling wide. “Dohohon’t…”
“I think you want me to.” Bakugou leaned down and placed the gentlest of kisses to the affected area, making sure to take extra care with the dark bruise that had formed along his boyfriend’s bottom rib. Then he kissed his way up his chest to the crook of his neck, making Todoroki squeal and kick a leg into the air. “Don’t worry, Sho. You’ll get better quicker now that I’ve kissed you all over.”
“M-Mahahahagic kisses?” the icy-hot hero teased through his giggles.
Bakugou kissed his lips to shut him up. “Heck yeah, baby. Magic kisses.”
fic roundup #12 (bnha)
about: fic roundups cover boku no hero academia fanfiction, and mostly showcases gen fic; each roundup includes 5-10 fics. for more fic recs, check out my fic rec tag, my bnha fic rec tag, & my fic roundups tag.
here’s some fics i’ve picked up and enjoyed recently!
close my eyes and i see the fallen by Smiley5494
gen; 1.1k; chapters 1/1 complete; aizawa & class 1a
The thought that maybe they are too young is met with the echoes of a laugh he hasn’t heard since high school and the weight of grief on his shoulders. He was too young, when he saw the first death of a friend, and aren’t they all? These students will have to experience that far too early, and some of them already have; Midoriya having to have witnessed Sir Nighteye’s death, Bakugo having experienced being kidnapped, the USJ and the training camp. All Might's retirement.
“Write your first draft, and remember,” Aizawa says, “this is where you can say your final goodbyes, so make sure you write what you mean.”
thoughts: i really enjoyed the concept of this fic, and how seriously it addresses canon.
Like Muscle Memory by anna7130
gen; 61.k; chapters 1/1 complete; izuku & bakugou
He’s staring down at Kaminari with a guilty but slightly smug face. Bakugou stands next to him, arms crossed, He looks far less guilty and far more smug.
“That’ll teach you to mess with me, shithead,” he snarls. Midoriya shakes his head fondly.
The blond boy raises a hand to his side. Without looking, Midoriya meets him for a high-five.
---------------
AKA five times that class 1-A underestimates Midoriya and Bakugou’s friendship, and one time they all know exactly what's what
thoughts: anyone who knows me knows i love bkdk friendship, and this fic is a complete blast. it really puts them front in center and makes them feel real and fun. shenanigans away.
spinning out of control by mollE
gen; 2.9k; chapters 1/1 complete; izuku & bakugou
He can’t scream. He wishes, oh, he wishes he could. He’s already tried. He’s been trying, but he’s stuck in his own head, watching his hands wrap around Deku’s skinny neck and squeeze until his face turns purple and then let go again like he’s toying with him, taking him to the brink of unconsciousness and keeping him there. Deku sputters and coughs, and his chest heaves between Katsuki’s thighs. There are tears running down his face, and it’s not the first time he’s ever cried because of Katsuki. It’s not the first time Katsuki’s ever hurt him.
But never like this.
-- Katsuki joins the 'I've Been Mind Controlled' Club. He wishes he hadn't.
thoughts: there is nothing sweeter than mind control angst. i love this look into their relationship when bakugou has lost control. whump, guilt, and then some comfort right at the end. absolutely satisfying.
we drew our own constellations by sakvnosuke (series)
gen; 23k; 3/? works incomplete; class 1a & aizawa
Twenty rising heroes dragged their tired teacher to their schemes and unknowingly caused the man to have some unwanted revelations; more at 11.
thoughts: i read these faster than you can say “dadzawa.” i’m an absolute sucker for aizawa-centric fic, as well as future fic. i love this version of a class 1-a future; it made me smile, laugh, and yell at my friends. i wouldn’t like to give anything away, but i absolutely recommend this.
A Calculated Error by granny_griffin
gen; 1k; chapters 1/1 complete; izuku & bakugou, class 1a
"Save the laurels, ya ding dong," Kacchan drawled. He was already seated behind them, legs draped across the desk in front of him. "Deku cheated."
Iida turned back, folding his arms. "That is a serious accusation for any—"
"I didn't!" Izuku exclaimed, then stopped. He had interrupted whatever Iida was going to say.
Kacchan turned to face him, eyes narrowing. "There is no other way you could have gotten in."
thoughts: really, really funny. i enjoyed every bit as i read it and loved the dynamics of all the different characters.
foreseen legacy by azureskyy
gen; 8k; chapters 1/1 complete; izuku & ofa, all might, aizawa
Upon seeing their future successor, One for All takes the opportunity presented to them and transfers to Izuku. Said kid doesn't notice that he has a quirk, but he does wonder why he's suddenly compelled to walk around certain places for absolutely no reason at all. Meanwhile, Yagi Toshinori runs around the city, trying to find the elusive, possibly ninth holder of his quirk, Midoriya Izuku.
Or: One for All is a haunted quirk. Fate has long been determined. Naturally, this ends up in a ridiculous cycle of missed chances and failed attempts to talk to each other.
thoughts: this fic is as funny as it sounds, but also well-written with enough depth to make it satisfying.
summer thunderstorms by orkestrations
gen; 4.2k; chapters 5/? ongoing; izuku & all might
a variety of short dadmight fics, mostly centered around dagobah beach and the ten months before the entrance exam.
thoughts: all really sweet. if you’re looking for a pick-me-up, this collection of short fics is a great read.
The Dads at Disney World Headcanons cause why not
Aizawa Shouta/Eraserhead, Toshinori Yagi/All Might, Taishiro Toyomistu/Fatgum, Keigo Takami/Hawks
No Sir Nighteye in this headcanon, sorry
Masterlist
Builds off of this headcanon
Tumblr media
Did NOT want to go to Disney World
To many people, too much noises, too much work, money, crying children, annoying adults
TOO MUCH!
Broke down into saying yes when all his kids begged for a family vacation there, or to at least have one family vacation for once.....you were kind of excited that he said yes, so it wouldn’t be hard to get him on the same page as everyone.
He will stress the FUCK out!
“Where is kid number 4? Number 6? Oh crap, sorry Eri, I didn’t mean to bump into you. You dropped your ice cream? I’ll get you another one sweetie. HOLD MY HAND! THERE’S A BIG GROUP OF PEOPLE SO HOLD MY HAND!”
Will kind of relax once everyone is all clutching onto one another so they don’t get split up.
Will have a list of rides to get to and make sure everyone gets to where the next fast pass is. Also did his research on what character is where so that everyone can meet whoever the hell they wanna meet.
Enjoys the rides where you just sit down and freaking relax. Haunted Mansion? A+! For his younger kids who clutched onto his side as those corny little heads popped out in the cemetery while on the verge of crying? F-...
Kind of really enjoyed Tower of Terror and Rocking Rollercoaster....kids didn’t, so oldest teen gathered everyone up so he and you could go on it together....it was amazing.
Kind of really made him happy though to see his whole family piled up at a restaurant at one of those long tables, all excitedly talking about what was their favorite part of the day and what they can’t wait to go on next and showing off the souvenirs they chose.
He couldn’t help but just reach over the table to grab your hand
Aizawa also made sure they all got a spot at the front for the firework show, you and him making sure all your children were in front of you and him and that they could see.
Got A LOT of comments on how big his family is....which he just proudly nodded his head as you and him ushered your children along around the many parks.
He enjoyed Jungle Cruise way too much, mostly because his family literally almost took up a whole boat, so he didn’t have to worry about getting stuck with annoying people.
At the end of each day...he kind of just wanted to curl up in the hotel bed with you and pass out, but his army of children didn’t allow that since two rooms were purchased to fit everyone comfortably, so you stayed in one room and he stayed in the other
You both had to deal with giggling children excited for the next day though
He’s a good sport, he agreed to wear matching ears with everyone
Literally made everyone wear coordinated outfits to make every easily visible
Tumblr media
Going to Disney World was a surprise for you and his little girl
His daughter made everyone double check EVERYTHING before leaving
Also made Toshinori remember EVERY princess, no cap
Toshinori held onto one of your daughter’s hands, you held onto the other the first few hours of the first day, but.....she ended up getting tired of walking, so Toshinori ended up just carrying her around everywhere.
Kind of wanted to go on the bigger rides, but that wasn’t really an option to do with himself, you, and your young daughter, but he didn’t mind riding rides like Winnie The Pooh and It’s a Small World with you and your daughter
Made sure his daughter got her signatures from her favorite princess when meeting them, since she would get forgetful with all that excitement rushing though that small body of his
Couldn’t help himself but get her the few things she really wanted, like a princess makeover or the cute little Winnie the Pooh plushies. Or an ice cream even though you were against her having so many sweets throughout the day
Disney Princess breakfast buffet? Hell to the yes! You actually kind of enjoyed it too when the princess would come and interact with your daughter and sign her notebook she had brought.
Would go on the spinning teacups over and over again just for his daughter
Seeing his daughter almost passing out while eating dinner back at the hotel while watching Tarzan in the room just made him feel great as he looked to you who ate away at the slice of pizza you had, intently watching the movie on the tv.
At first he would be cuddling with you, daughter having her own bed....but the sound of other familiar getting back and talking loudly late at night kind of spooked her, so she would end up crawling in the bed between you and Toshinori
Daughter would FaceTime Gran Torino every night too to show him all the things she got and tell him all that she did too.
Would have to tuck her in with all the plushies she had gotten from each park
He thought the Carousel of Progress slapped, but his daughter thought it was boring
Tumblr media
Took time off specifically for this moment!
Disney World was a dream of his
Mostly for the food though, sorry not sorry
At first he was under the impression that his daughters and you would have wanted to go on the rides targeted towards...you know....younger girls
Well yeah, but they wanted to ride everything! Tower of Terror? Check! Rockin Roller Coaster? Check! Test track? Check! Just everything!
It just made him so proud on how brave his girls were on the bigger and slightly scarier rides. They just screamed and laughed on all of them and hung from his arms afterwards to gush about all the exciting things they saw or how certain things felt on the ride.
Breaks would be taken to try the most iconic foods sold at the Disney parks, but his favorite? The pretzels, the pretzels, the freaking pretzels! Of course the rest of you were hooked on the sugary greatness of the churros though....but you would always sneak a bite of his pretzel.
Would honestly listen to his oldest daughter search up conspiracies and secrets of Disney....and then would try to find the secret, hidden things in each park for fun with the whole family
His girls weren’t really into the whole meeting someone dressed as a Disney character ordeal....but exceptions were made at Galaxies Edge....
They couldn’t miss on meeting Chewbacca and Darth Vader
Or to geek out on all the Star Wars memorabilia on display while waiting to meet them.
You and all your daughters dressed as Sith Lords....Taishiro was kind of disappointed to be the only one to choose being a Jedi, but everyone else in the park found it funny.
Yeah....so the Star Wars rides were his favorite since his daughters would get so into it
Especially his younger ones on Rise of the Resistance when Kylo Ren would appear
“No you big meanie! We are getting out of here!” One of them yelled, Taishiro not being able to hold in his laughter as he looked to you trying to hold in your own giggles at your daughter’s reaction
Back at the hotel room everyone would just end up piling up onto one bed to excitedly talk about the day while everyone took turns showering...
everyone would just end up falling asleep together on the same bed
You and him would end up migrating to the other empty bed during the night
Tumblr media
You mentioned wanting to go to Disney World once in passing? Guess that’s an invitation to plan a whole week trip!
Though everyone had to sit down and listen to you say that it was NOT ok to start flying around the park, that was a big no no
Keigo would end up riding a lot of the big scary rides with his two sons, the three of them having a blast together
Your daughter would just happily skip along side you, holding your hand as she was up for anything
Just not scary rides....she didn’t like the way her butt would kind of lift up from the ride’s seat sometimes
Though sometimes she would give a small tug on Keigo’s shirt and ask to ride a certain ride they were about to walk past. He would reroute themselves to head directly to that ride next
She was more into the Disney classics
Peter Pan, Winnie the Pooh, Haunted Mansion, Pirates of the Carribean, Carousel of Progress
Though she really enjoyed Pirates of the Carribean...though during Magic hours the ride was having difficulties which she was disappointed about
So he bought a few things at the gift shop and once back at the hotel room, you pushed her around on a chair while he dressed himself up with a hat, eyepatch, and hook and begin goofily re-enactmenting some of the moments she would giggle at on the ride, her two brothers joining in
Her brothers on the other hand loved Star Wars....but would often get into arguments about certain characters and the lore of the show and would ask their sister for her input...but she would only shrug her shoulders
“I like Princess Leia” she would simply stare as they would wait in line for a ride in Galaxies Edge
Keigo may have had no idea what was going on in Galaxies Edge, but he still thought everything was cool as hell and listened to his kids talk about what they liked about Star Wars.
Popeyes fried chicken was a MUST HAVE for dinner when they would head back to the hotel room
His kids would take that chance to put on Star Wars to educate him too at that moment.
Kids would be kind of tired in the morning because Keigo would honestly cause such a dang ruckus of bird noises because he was so dang tired by the time he went to bed
Mystery lady | Aizawa Shouta
Category: fluff, crack?
2.2k words; Eri has another caretaker?
Tumblr media
“All right, we have a surprise visitor today.” Aizawa mumbled underneath his scarf, packing the rest of his paperwork into a pile. “Don’t be annoying and suffocate her.” Heads swivelled as the large door slowly creaked open to reveal the small and adorable guest.
“Eri-chan?” Midoriya shot up from his seat, eyes popping out of his head. Others followed suit, squealing at her cute attire. Aizawa lifted her up and placed her on his desk, patting her head.
“She’s available to stay with us for about an hour, or until her caretaker comes.” Everyone—well, nearly everyone—crowded over Eri, eager to talk to her. The last time they saw her was months ago, after all. Aizawa would only give small slivers of information like “she went to the hospital today” or “she’s fine, stop asking” after the students pestered him. It was only when Iida interrupted, concerned for her personal space, that they stepped back a bit.
“Ah, I have to get some forms from the staff room… Look after her for a moment. You are going to be heroes.” With that, the teacher slid out of the room with his yellow sleeping bag in tow. After he left, all attention was directed to Eri.
“It’s been ages since we last saw you! How are you, is everything okay?”
“How’s it like living with Aizawa-sensei? Is he kind? Is he taking good care of you?” They took turns asking, giving her some snacks. Watching her face light up melted their hearts.
“Yep! He asks me a lot if I’m okay and gives me sweets! He once gave me this really bitter one and laughed when I spat it out. It was a really weird but funny grin.” The class couldn’t really imagine their apathetic teacher giving anyone any other type of a smile. The same one which scared them down to their bones.
Others chimed in with their questions, ranging from “Have you gone to any other places?” to “Have you found any other foods you like?” or “Are you going to school now?” Eri answered all of them with a bright smile.
It made Midoriya almost tear up, how her attitude and personality changed from the moment they saved her from Overhaul’s grasp. He knew his influence over her wasn’t completely gone, but it was steadily disappearing, and nothing brought him greater joy than that.
“Wait, but… where do you go when Aizawa-sensei teaches us? Surely he doesn’t just leave you alone in the faculty’s dorm?” Yaoyorozu spoke up, fingers sifting through Eri’s silver locks. When Eri looked back at her in puzzlement, she replied with “that’s a fancy word for teachers.”
“Oh, [Name] looks after me.” The class looked quizzically at her, heads tilted in curiosity.
“Who?”
“[Name]! She lives with us, and she’s so kind and the best. She always wakes me up with fireflies and it’s so pretty!” Everyone stopped at that.
“...And is she like, our age, or…?”
“No? She’s an adult.”
Sparks flew around in the students’ minds as they tried to connect the dots.
Aizawa-sensei lives in the faculty dorms in the Heights Alliance. Eri-chan lives with him. This mystery person lives with Eri-chan. Therefore, she must be living with our teacher. Aizawa-sensei is living with another adult, a female, no less. What the hell?
They murmured amongst each other, trying to speculate how this was possible. Eri stared in confusion. “Why are you whispering?”
“Eri-chan, when you say ‘lives with us’, did you mean like she moved in when you moved in or she was living with Aizawa-sensei before you came?”
“She moved into the dorms after I came.” The students nodded, saying how it would be unusual for the antisocial teacher to voluntarily live with anyone. Or for anyone to agree to the arrangement. “But she told me she was living with him before he came into the dorms. She complained about it a lot, how she had to travel every day just to see him. She’s happier now!”
This made them stop again. But in an attempt to stop interrogating her about this mysterious lady and focus on Eri herself, Kirishima steered the conversation.
“Uh, so what do you do all day?”
“[Name] is an artist, but she said she was also a teacher. I’m being homeschooled by her, but it’s so fun! And she always makes cakes and candy apples as a well-done reward. Then we take naps, watch TV and then eat dinner when Aizawa-san comes back. We sometimes go to the park and have picnics. She drew me a rabbit to play with on the grass and it came to life. It was so cute!”
Eri’s bubbly and enthusiastic voice made everyone coo at her adorableness. After sitting in countless non-hero lessons, she was like a ray of sunshine which brightened up their day. They didn’t know who this lady was, but she was apparently taking incredibly good care of their “little sister”.
“You must really like her then! She sounds like a lovely person.” Uraraka wiped the smudge of chocolate off Eri’s cheek, pinching it lightly in the process.
“Yep! She’s really lovely and hugs me a lot. Sometimes she calls Aizawa-san over and we cuddle for hours while watching movies!” This was the sentence which absolutely broke everyone’s brain. They stared dumbfoundedly at her confused face until one of them regained their ability to speak. Now that she said that, there was no way they could skip past this person.
 “Can you… tell us more about [Name]? Especially about her and Aizawa-sensei?”
“Um, well…”
Tumblr media
“Wow, I am lost. My lack of sense of direction never ceases to amaze me… that’s the third time I’ve walked past the Nurse’s Office. Hm, not worrying at all, I’m perfectly fine.” A breath of fatigue and annoyance slipped out as you made a right, even though that’s what you did last time. “Ah yes, all around me are familiar signs, but no faces. If only the song could come true.”
The empty corridors were being filled with your muttering until you stopped in your tracks. “Wait a second, she’s in 1-A. Which means it would be on the second floor since the first would be the teacher’s lounges and whatnot. I need to go upstairs. Ugh, why didn’t I think this 10 minutes ago?” A pause. “It’s because I don’t use my two withering brain cells.”
Even on the second floor, you found yourself lost. Another 10 minutes would have been wasted trying to gauge your location if it weren’t for the loud squeals and shouts exploding out of a room. That fits the description Shouta gave. Energetic and no regards for the eardrums of anyone nearby, especially ones trying to sleep.
As you came closer, individual voices could be heard.
“Aizawa-sensei did that? I can’t believe it!”
“He doesn’t seem like a romantic type at all. I should believe the sky is collapsing before this.”
“He does it all the time, every single day. Ah, that’s her! [Name]!” Slipping into the classroom and nodding to the students, you carefully embraced the small child and held her up in your arms. The weight of her body on your arms and her arms around your neck immediately calmed your heart rate down.
“Oh thank goodness I found you, I had no idea where I was! I swear I’m worse than Zoro when it comes to finding my way around.”
“Who’s Zoro?”
“Uhm, a fictional character you don’t need to worry about. You’re too young for One Piece.” Eri nodded with a smile and pulled at your sleeve. “Yes, dear?”
“[Name], they’re all Aizawa-san’s students! They’re so nice!”
“Yes, Grumpy told us about them, right? The band of misfits who he loves very much even though he never said it out loud or sometimes says the complete opposite. Remember how he said ‘I would rather drink an entire bottle of balsamic vinegar than go to another class’ yesterday but still woke up at 6? He’s such a tsundere.”
“He doesn’t like it when you call him that.”
“What, Grumpy? No, he loves it, I can tell. I’m psychic.”
“Psychic?”
“I can read what other people think. It’s my Quirk.”
“Isn’t your Quirk Piggy?”
“...I have two quirks? No, that doesn’t make sense. Alright, you got me, I’m lying. And it’s Pygmalion, remember? Piggy is cute but very misleading.”
The students watched the light banter between you and Eri, eyes shifting to whoever was speaking. A lightbulb went off in Sero’s head which stopped the conversation.
“Wait, I’ve seen you around before! You’re in the cafeteria every night!” Your attention changed to the boy, and the gaggle of wide-eyed children, at that.
“Oh, I thought I was sneaky enough. Guess not. Okay, hello everyone! I’m [Surname] [Name], and I’m taking care of Eri along with that grouch you call a teacher in the faculty’s dorms. I’m not a suspicious person, I have all of my credentials and papers. And this little lady has a maths test to start!” Eri squealed and attempted to wriggle out of your arms at that, determined to escape. She slipped off and hid behind Midoriya, sticking her tongue out at you.
“I want to stay here!” You crouched down to her eye level, trying to reason with her. It was hard to say no since she barely asks for anything, and you never wanted to stop her from experiencing the outside world.
“Sweetie, these students must have their classwork to do and we might be disturbing them. And we don’t want to do that, ri—”
“Actually!” Kaminari cut in. “Sorry for interrupting, but we have absolutely no work right now!” Iida attempted to say “Yes we do.” but was smothered into silence by Ashido. “We have all the time in the world to talk to Eri-chan!” Her head spun to yours at that, large puppy-dog eyes fluttering with clasped hands. This was a move you tried to ban in the house because it instantly made you weak.
“Alright then… If we’re not disrupting you guys, then I don’t see the harm. I’ll be sitting here, just to keep an eye out for our little miss. Don’t mind me.” Making yourself comfortable, you whipped out a novel from your bag and started reading. Although, the session lasted for only 2 minutes since the lack of rambunctious noise made you look up to 21 pairs of eyes staring back at you. “Can I… help you?”
“Miss, you live with Eri-chan, right?”
“Yes. Also, just call me [Name]. Yobisute is fine, don’t be so distant!”
“Ah, right. So you live with Aizawa-sensei.”
“Yup! You guys have it hard, having Grumpy for a teacher. Although I shouldn’t be the one saying that, seeing how I’ve been going out with him for the past… 3 years? Wow, time flies.” Screams of “What?” and “He’s dating someone?” filled the room. “Ah, so he didn’t mention me, huh? Typical Grumpy.”
“What do you see in him?” Todoroki’s voice cut through the chatter. Midoriya shrieked and explained to the bichrome boy how that has an offensive meaning. “Oh, I see. Sorry.” You laughed at the boy’s lack of social understanding.
“It’s fine, it’s fine. I do want to get back at him, though. You guys want to hear about all the things he did with me over the years?” 21 heads nodded. “Well then, sit down and storytime will begin.”
Tumblr media
Aizawa was looking at hell. Or at least a perfect replication of it in his homeroom class. You, standing in his spot and recounting everything he’s ever done with you, and his students, looking like they were practically engraving your words into their brains.
“What are you doing?” The children shrieked at his appearance. The fact that they didn’t realise he was there until he spoke up made Aizawa mentally note to increase their schoolwork in perception. It’s vital in Hero work, after all. You, on the other hand, aren’t even phased.
“What’s up, Mr Grinch? You somehow look more tired than this morning, what an accomplishment in uh… 8 hours.” He flicked your forehead for that, ignoring your yelp of pain. “This is a terrible way to treat your girlfriend!”
“And yet you haven’t broken up with me.” His students squealed and whistled at his comment. Acts which stopped as soon as he glared at them. “I’m back now, you said Eri needs to do her maths test.” He picked up the little girl from his desk and placed her on your folded arms, making sure she’s stable before letting go.
“Alright, alright, we’re going. Did you guys have fun?” A chorus of “Yes!” nearly blasted yours and his eardrums off. Eri was saved thanks to Aizawa’s quick reflexes. He clasped his hands over her ears just in time. “Nice! Okay, we have to go now. Bye guys!” Another chorus of “Bye [Name]!” echoed.
Your boyfriend followed you out of the classroom, patting Eri’s head while shooing you off. “I don’t have night patrol today.”
“That’s great! I bought some cake from that bakery around the corner. Brave through the day and come back to me in one piece, okay?” Your lips connected to his but he immediately pulled back at the screams from behind him. Nearly every single student had their face peeking out of the room, eyes glittering. “Oh oops.”
“Shit.”
Feeling Special
Tamaki Amajiki x Reader
Warning: fluff, pg-13
A/N: commission for @marvels-biggest-ho
Summary:  You show up to help Mirio terrorize Class -1A during training and your long time crush, Tamaki, is there.
Tumblr media
The first year training gym had an air of playful tension as you walked in. Mr. Aizawa thought it would do the younger students some good to have an older student drop in and show them the ropes but you had a feeling your quirk was the real reason the teacher wanted you around. Your quirk was Acquire ; the ability to gain another person's quirk for a limited amount of time, depending on how long you touched them. They would still have their quirk but you were able to use it as well - it worked out most times but you usually avoided touching someone with a more complicated quirk. There was one time you accidentally touched Mirio Togata and ended up falling a floor below your dorm. Luckily, you only came into contact with him for a few seconds. Usually you wore gloves but as you walked into the large training gymnasium, your hands were bare.
“Oh, look who's here!”
The greeting came from Nejire Hado and you smiled, noticing the two other members of the  Big Three. The trio stood in front of class 1-A. You eyed the slouched over Tamaki Amajiki; he glanced at you for a split second before turning away nervously. Smiling, you nodded to Mirio.
“Mr. Awzia sent for me,” you explained, turning to the group. “He said something about showing you kids a good time.”
“That’s what I was about to do,” Mirio gleamed, hands folded against his chest. “I challenged them all to a fight.”
You laughed, sneaking a peek at Tamaki. “Amajiki, will you be joining the fight?”
The young man seized up, shaking his head no without looking at you. “Fair enough, we don’t want to rough the kids up too much. We all know you’re the strongest here.”
Mirio grinned at you, giving a little wink as he focused on the first years. You half listened as he went on about kicking their asses, eyes zeroing on Tamaki, who was making his way to the sidelines. He looked so cute in the UA jumpsuit, his ears poking out from his hair; it seemed obvious to everyone but him that you adored the soon to be pro-hero. You had been in the same class as the Big Three since year one, made friends right away with Mirio and his best friend, the quiet Tamaki. The nervous, socially awkward boy - who you had developed feelings for over time.
“Y/N.” Mirio was calling out to you, as he rushed towards Class -1-A, a carefree glance plastered on his face. “You joining or not?”
“Hell yes,” you shouted back, rushing towards your friend. Watching as Mirio went head to head with the boy he called Problem Child, you wanted to throw some of the younger students off guard. Jogging over to the group, who were distracted by Mirio, you touched the shoulder of a girl with horns and pink skin.
“He’s going to be the number one hero one day,” you boasted. She jumped back just as Mirio disappeared and reappeared behind the group. You smiled when the girl used her quirk to throw corrosive liquid, acid, in your direction. Mimicking her moves, her face drew up in horror.
“You stole my quirk!”
The students that weren’t fighting Mirio off, turned to you in horror. Holding your palm out, acid flew up and you grinned. “I’d never steal someone’s quirk but I can acquire it for a bit. Of course, you still have access to your quirk but so do I….at least for a little bit or until I touch someone else.”
The girl relaxed and scratched the back of her head. “Sorry, I freaked for a second.”
“Do me next!”
A slender blond boy stepped up, an odd looking belt around his navel. “Let’s see if you can control my quirk.”
He winked at you and you looked to Mirio; he was way too busy wrecking students left to right. Figuring he had it, you shrugged and beckoned the boy over, he strutted over to you and posed. Laughing, you touched his shoulder for a few seconds. Feeling a wave of energy wash over your body, you looked over your shoulder to where Tamaki stood. He wasn’t staring at the wall as per usual, instead he was focused on you.
Unable to control the butterflies in your stomach, your body tensed up and before you could regain control, a sparkly laser beam shot from your navel. The sudden jolts and power sent you flying backwards, thrusting you into the air. You shouted in pain as your body flew to the ground, but when you expected the pain of the concrete floor to hit you, it didn’t. Instead, two large tentacles wrapped around your waist, your body collapsing against someone as they slammed against the wall, sliding down to the ground with you in their embrace.
Out of breath, you laid still for a minute, trying to catch your breath. That kid’s quirk was powerful and it was painful too, you definitely felt bad for him. Breath slowing down to a normal state, you felt the tentacles retract, replaced by a strong pair of arms.
“Are - are you okay?”
A sweet whisper danced against your ears and you realized in a heartbeat, who had caught you; sweet, quiet Tamaki. His body was warm against yours and you could feel the heat rising from your toes.
“I feel dizzy, I might puke,” you admitted, sitting up. His knees were bent up and your body was right up against his chest. Embarrassed, you crawled off him, He stumbled to his feet, turning to face the wall.
“I -  sorry…” Tamaki stammered over his words and you quickly got up, forgetting about being nauseous. His head moved forward but before his forehead could touch the wall, your hand slipped right in between. His eyes widened at the feel of your palm against his forehead and you smiled at him.
“Don’t hurt your head, Tamaki. It’s too cute.”
A burst of bravery flashed across his face as he looked at you but before he could say a word, your body gave out.
….
The room was quiet as your eyes fluttered open; you were in your dorm, in bed. Feeling better, you sat up and saw Tamaki sleeping on the floor. Heat slapped your face as you realized someone of the opposite sex was in your room. Looking to the clock on the wall, you saw that it was past midnight - okay, that definitely wasn’t allowed. Unable to move, you studied the young man’s face and smiled at the way his indigo colored hair swept over his forehead.
He was a snorer but it was endearing.
Noticing he had no blanket, just a pillow tucked under his head, you reached over for an extra one at the end of the bed and was surprised to see tentacles forming from your hands. Startled, you held back a shout, remembering that you had touched Tamaki earlier.
“This is crazy,” you whispered, chuckling as you grabbed the blanket and reached over to cover Tamaki without having to leave the bed. The tentacles weren’t as long as his but they were a little hard to control. It was evident when you accidentally smacked Tamaki in the face as you pulled away; holding your breath, you watched as he stirred but didn’t wake. Slowly, you crept off the bed and moved around him to get to the full length mirror next to the closet.
When you saw yourself, you nearly died of laughter - you looked ridiculous and not as intimidating as Tamaki when he was in this form. He looked badass in his hero suit, like a knight in shining armor - you on the other hand, looked like a sea creature.
“Oh, god.”
A low painful voice came from behind you, it was Tamaki, standing near your bed. He was still wearing the UA training suit, as were you. He looked embarrassed and upset as he rushed to the door but you were faster, looping a tentacle around his waist. Using all your strength, you held him in place as his hand came over the doorknob.
“Please don’t leave me,” you begged. “I don’t know how long your quirk will last, I could just go touch someone else but everyone’s asleep.”
You relaxed, letting him go when his hand fell from the doorknob. “I - I carried you to the nurses office and then to your room. I -I held you for too long, I don’t know when my quirk will leave you.”
He continued to face the door but didn’t leave. Walking over to him, you felt a strike of bravery - you had adored him for years now, watched him with soft eyes and love in your heart. It bloomed over the years, when others would not take the chance to get to know him.  Scolded him for looking down on himself and cheered the loudest in his corner, even though you never thought you would have a chance with him. It didn’t matter, being in his corner was enough but now as he stood in your room, you wanted more.
“I’m sorry you have to deal with my quirk,” he muttered miserably.
Rolling your eyes, you stepped up to him. His back was hunched over but his entire body hardened when you wrapped both tentacles around his waist, pressing your face into the fabric of his uniform. You could feel his nerves rattling as you took a deep  breath.
“I’m glad I was given a chance to experience the power you have, Tamaki,” you whispered, tilting your head to the side. Your cheek felt warm against his back as you stared at the mirror, watching his reflection carefully. His face was surprisingly calm, opposed to the tension you felt in the rest of his body.
“W-why?”
The question made you smile and you held him tighter. “It makes me feel closer to you, Tamaki and...and that’s all I ever wanted. Are you that oblivious?”
Terrified of his reaction, you looked away from the mirror and buried your face into his face, clinging to him. Tentacles trembled, waiting for his response to your confession. What if he did not feel the same way? He never showed interest, why would you think he would have feelings for you? You were questioning the moment, wishing it was a fever dream from using too many quirks in one day.
Yes, that’s it, you thought, holding back the tears. He’s not really here, this is a dream and when you wake up, you will be back with Mirio. Back at the gym, kicking 1-A’s collective butt.
Yeah, that’s it.
“Mirio- he...he’s always making comments,” Tamaki whispered, forehead against the door.  “Stupid little comments that I know could never be true, because why - why would you like someone like me.”
Your head pulled away from his back and you stared at the back of his head, focused on the nape of his neck. “Because, you’re special, Tamaki. I wish you could see what Mirio and I see, what everyone sees. You’re amazing and I have always wished to be someone you could look in the eye. I want you to look me in the eye, so I can feel special too.”
Tears fell from your face as the tentacles retracted, forming back into your own arms. They started to fall from Tamaki’s waist as he carefully turned around, face hung low. Your heart pounded as he stood straight and finally, after so long, looked you in the eyes. His face was nervous but soft, fingers trembling as they reached for yours. His skin warm and soft as he held your hand, squeezing his palm against yours. His usually frown turned into a quiet smile and you knew then, that you were in love.
“You’re special to me,” he whispered and you beamed, throwing your arms around his neck. Without hesitation, he pulled you close and embraced you. His chin rested on your shoulders as you kissed him gently on the cheek. His face turned red so quickly it made you laugh. Kissing him again, you moved away and touched the side of his face.
“Will you stay with me a bit longer?”
Leaning into your hand, he nodded. “Okay.”
His heart leaped as you led him to the bed, motioning for him to lay down first. He did and watched as you took the space up next to him, your head resting on his shoulder as he pulled your blanket over the two of you. You inhaled deeply, placing your hand on his chest, smiling when he cupped it with his own. The room was quiet as the two of you laid together, the feeling in the air was something new and sweet, and as your eyes began to grow heavy, you said his name.
“Y-Yeah?”
Dipping your head back, you stared up at him. “How did you get into my dorm after hours? I’m sure the administration wouldn’t have allowed it.”
Tamaki’s eyebrows furrowed and he moved his hand over his face. “Mirio and Nejire helped me sneak in.”
Laughing, you drew his hand from his face and grinned. “My sweet, sneaky Tamaki.”
He chuckled nervously and when his eyes met yours, soft and relaxed, you knew what it felt like to feel special.
Royal siren erasermic family? They like adopt you after you hatch from an egg bc they found you or something idk and take you back to the castle and make you their little princess or something cute and fluffy like that.
YANDERE SIREN ERASERMIC FAMILY X BABY PRINCESS READER
Tumblr media
Shinso was just out and about, swimming through some forbidden areas he wasn’t supposed to be in, avoiding sharks, when he found an iridescent little ball under some rubble of a shipwreck, it made his gills tingle at the sweet aura that it emmited, he knew, that this creature, was something to protect. It was up until he saw something moving inside that he thought it was just some ancient treasure that would’ve died with this ship, he examined it closer, squinting his eyes, that’s when he realized, it was a Siren. A baby one at that, usually they hatched out of boring white eggs, the royal family’s were gold, but a shiny color changing white that combated the finest of jewels? Never, this little pip was special, he could feel it.
So he brought it back home, through his “balcony window”, debating wether or not he should tell his parents. As you know, he was somewhere where he was not supposed to be, and they would throw a fit. Then again, whatever this thing was, he couldn’t just keep it to himself, something was living inside it, and he wouldn’t know if something was wrong, so he has too. When he did, it came as a suprise that his parents weren’t mad, they jsut kindof stared at the orb, inhaling the addictive scent it gave off, the three huddled around it, aizawa carefully picking the Small thing up, it was only about the size of a pumpkin, extremely easy to pick up, yet he could still feel the heartbeat of a creature inside, it just had to be one of the sirenfolk , there isn’t any other explanation. He stared at it in confusion, noticing the small cracks staring to form.
Then a little hand popped through, and scared the shit out of all of them.
———
As it turned out, you were in fact a siren, a rare subtype of them, thought to have gone extinct long, long ago. The opal-looking scales that littered your arms and tail showed proof of it, this species were intensely more fragile, and weaker, that’s why they went extinct, as they couldn’t hear, and a small crabs pinch could cause major bone breaks, they were just too weak, yet so beautiful. That’s why they were coveted among the royal family. It only helped their growing obsession taht you were so cute.
It might’ve been an act of I’mpulse, but they just needed to have you as their own, of course, their word is law, so they could’ve just kept you, but they felt the need to make it official, they’d already had two pips, you’re just their third! It was simple, of course, you specific species could be born into sirenfolk families, it was just so rare that it had only happened once. You were just so cute, so fragile, just something so breakable, they just
H a d
To protect this tiny lil thing, it was instinctual to feel a protective pull over their little pups, and boy were they feeling that right now, you were special, not just any baby, but you were theirs. Their special little pup, nothing would ever lay a hand on you, ever. It had only be a few days, and word spreads through the underwater kingdom like a wave, from the servant maid who showed them how to take care of you, to the head maid, to a citizen, to the fisher, and eventually, by the end of the week, the whole kingdom was eagerly waiting to get a glimpse of their new princess.
And boy were they shocked to find out it was an opalite, the most rare of rare sirens in the world. Immediately after they had shown you to the world, sitting in a large clam as it was pulled by sharks, the citizens fell in love with you, maybe it was the fact that you were related to their beloved royals, maybe because the royal family would intensely glare at anyone who made negative comments, maybe it was the fact that a few of those people went missing, but who knows right?
You still hadn’t been able to open your eyes yet, and you won’t be able to hear them for a very long time, your hands were about the size of aizawas eye, and you looked closer to a fish than a human, as you hadn’t even developed your face yet, another plus to being the endangered species, note the sarcasm. And guess what? They found it so adorable, just their cute little baby, their little pup who can’t even protect themselves from the water around them. They just loved every part of your little body, from your tails, to your tiny little hands, to your shiny gills. It was all just so perfect- you were so perfect, and you were theirs, they were gonna protect you at all costs.
So of course they did, you were just so tiny right now, they knows practically anything could hurt you, so they opted to be around you all the time, only leaving to hunt for humans that would suffice for their tastes, drawling them in, determined because of that little smile of yours. You motivated them to do it, they were doing this for you. It have them all a sense of pride to have you feel safe with them, to rite them you. On their own terms.
Eri was constantly around you, being that she was a young one just like you, and you were her little sister! So she wanted to always be around while you made those echoing gurgling noises, or flapped your hands around in the water, she didn’t have responsibility in the kingdom yet, unless being cute is a job, so she can be with you jsut as much as she wants. Always sitting with you while you played with the floating pearls that they had arranged over your play area, watching you feel new things, holding you while you dozed off with adorable little bubbles, she always was with you.
Like now, she’s been with you all day, giving you little snacks, glaring at the guards at the door who always had their eyes on you… creeps. The sun was almost setting, and when you’re low down in the ocean it goes pitch black after a little while, and that’s when the jellyfish come out, tonight was one of the most special days out of the year in the northern oceans, the jellyfish festival, the one night a year when the rare white jellyfish would come out to say hi, leaving trails of shimmering sparkle behind them, painting the upper levels of the ocean a shiny silver. It just so happened that it occurred on your first birthday, a very small increment to sirens, as they live almost a billion years, but still a big accomplishment in their eyes. Look! Their little baby girl is turning one! How amazing!
“Do you see them hon? Look, they’re just starting to appear” Aizawa asked both you and eri calmly, swishing his hand through the salty water to pint at the new appearance of white and purple blobs, slowly flouncing their way overhead. Eri smiled up at it, her pointed teeth displayed in full view, her eyes shined at the view, not only of the huge jellyfish, but also at you, who was placed delicately in mics lap, sat up against his chest. Little bubbles escaped your mouth as you blew raspberries into the water, just making the family laugh.
“Mm-hmmm! Look! Look! How pretty! I wanna touch em! Can I touch em!” She yelled at her parents, excitedly pointing towards the jelly’s floating towards the surface, her hair floated behind her as she swished around, shinsho just chuckled, knowing that she eventually would try to touch them, and get zapped, again, like last year, and the year before, and the year before.
“No hon. Don’t do that to us again, you wanna wish your sister a happy birthday? She’s probably really exited!” Mic cheered, distracting his daughter from touching the jellyfish, yet again, meanwhile, you were happily bouncing up and down on his lap, enjoying the freedom of your arms, swishing them all over the place, grabbing the beads around your neck, jsut anything.
“But dad! Why not! It’s not like it’s hurt me or anything I’ll be fi-“ she begged, throwing her hands up in a small tempter tantrum, clearly forgetting her previous events of pain, and idiocy.
“No- nope no no, we aren’t doing this again, please honey, just please, remember last time, we had to clean up your wounds OUTSIDE-of water, you hate going to the surface remember? “
“Yeah but-“ she started speaking, but was soon cut off with a loud giggle, resonating through your lips, kindof rare for you, you hadn’t been very vocal outside of a few gurgles here and there, so it had each and every ones heads turning. That’s when they saw it, your beautiful eyes, shin sing in reflection to the jellyfish. Those beautiful little eyes of yours mesmerized all of them, a pitch black (for protection from the salt), with a shiny silver-like pupal, immediately after they opened, a burst of color filled your vision. You giggled and clapped your hands together with a small toothless smile, watching as the floaty creates went overhead, glittering with the light.
The absolutely gorgeous splash above was admired by the family form their own viewing post, the blues and whites combined to make a heavenly display. You could feel the cool sprinkles of light they emmited hitting your skin, smiling at the feeling, you splayed your hands out and flailed them against the water.
“Ohhhhhh- oh wow. Honey! Honey look! Her eyes opened! Look at taht! Aren’t you just so magical! Look at you, my little pup.” Mic smacked Aizawa over the chest multiple times, pointing at your clearly opened eyes, you just remained oblivious, staring up at all the new things around you, like.. everything! He turned you around to face him, letting you actually see his face for the first time, taking in the long yellow hair, the (also) black eyes, the ethereal face dotted with shiny yellow gills, him, you could see him!
“She’s developing smoothly, I’m glad. Awww, that’s pretty cute.” Aizawa replied to him, holding in his emotions, as soon as he met those new eyes of yours it’s like everything else disappeared, like the world itself didn’t exist, outside of him, and his fmaily. You took his breath away, or what you could call breath, so cute and innocent, such a small thing, that brings so much joy. Your little tail swished back and forth as you stared up at them happily, taking in the features of the people you’d learned to recognize by touch. Blowing raspberries out of your lips with a stream of bubbles.
“Awwwww! I’m gonna cry, she’s growing so fast! Soon she’ll be swimming in her own! In like 200 years! Too soon, way too soon. Comers baby- mm hmmm” mic spoke, knowing full well that even if he did cry, his tears would get sucked in by the ocean. He pulled you close, moving your head I’ve this shoulde is it would rest in the crook of his neck while he hugged you, eventually, the others joined in, eri practically flopping ontop (with careful regard for you of course).
They all stared at you, while you stared up at the “sky”, oblivious to their stares, to the ways they would growl at anyone who came close, to how they kept you from seeing anyone other than what they personally approve. After all, you are jsut their little pup, of course you wouldn’t notice! Their little pup… feels right to say that, it isn’t like you have any family waiting, they aren’t ever gonna come here.
And if they ever did?
Then, well, a few mermaids are going missing
Surprising Aizawa at U.A
Tumblr media
PAIRING ~ Aizawa Shouta x reader
GENRE ~ fluff!
SUMMARY ~  You have been dating Aizawa for many months now and since work has been piling up for your boyfriend, you decided to stop by U.A for a surprise visit! As you walk through the halls, you couldn’t help but reminisce about the good times the two of you had. Ah, nostalgia~
WORD COUNT ~ 2.0k
Tumblr media
Dang it, you thought to yourself as you stood there mindlessly looking down the halls as you bit down your bottom lip. You grew anxious as you stood there staring at the many rooms, wondering which room was the teachers’ lounge and office.
You came to visit your boyfriend, Aizawa Shouta, who teaches at U.A, the most prestigious hero high school there is in Japan, but as you stood their helplessly looking at the title of each plaque on the wall, you wondered if it was better to stay home and wait for him to come back at night.
You shook your head at the idea. No, you were determined to see him. Your boyfriend may not be what people say “ideal” since his cold stern face with his signature half-lidded eyes doesn’t exactly scream “IDOL” to many people, but to you, well…he was perfect. Beautifully perfect.
Aizawa dating was something definitely new to him in the beginning. Not that he hadn’t dated before (let’s not bring back the embarrassing stories), he just wasn’t good at it in the beginning.
He can still remember the first date you both went on: the romantic dinner, the sitting in the cafe eating sweets, talking for hours about life, the quiet dim night walk at the empty park, and most of all, when he stood outside your apartment thinking if he should kiss you.
Should I kiss her? Will she hate me for me kissing her on the first date? Does she WANT me to kiss her? Oh god am I taking too long thinking? How about—
Oh.
You made the first move that night, leaning closer to his face as you closed your eyes and kissed him on the lips. You could still remember the exciting electricity flying throughout your body and the loud thumping of your heart pounding in your ears as you made that bold move. His lips were soft and sweet. He jumped slightly from your kiss but from the way that he melted in, he can for sure promise you that he was totally swooned for you.
Despite Aizawa’s hard-looking exterior, deep inside, he was sensitive in every precious way possible. And you loved that about him— how he’s both hard-working and lovingly soft at the same time. You loved his grumpy grunts when you interrupt his work to tell him what happened at work today, and you loved his silent nods of satisfaction when you serve him a home cook meal.
Plus, you love teasing him. Like that one time when you pulled out a cat sweater from one of his old boxes at his apartment.
“Ehhh???!!!” Your eyes widened as you stared at the bright colors of the cat sweater. You held the cotton candy sweater up high to give a good look at it. The cat’s eyes were unnaturally big and it screamed “KAWAII” in every way.  You darted Aizawa a teasing smile as you see him glow a soft tint of pink.  “Wow, Aizawa. Isn’t this 2 cute 4 u?”
Aizawa rolled his eyes at you, muttered something you couldn’t hear, snatched the sweater off your hands, and neatly folded it back into the box as you laughed. (maybe a little too neatly, you thought to yourself).
But whenever Aizawa’s with you, you don’t know it, but his heart beats faster whenever he sees you. He loves your goofiness, your boastful confidence, your kindness, how strangely similar you both are, and how you are just…well…you.
Lately, teaching at U.A wasn’t going smoothly. With students and villain issues, he comes back to your apartment past midnight now. So you decided to take a day off from work and visit him at the teacher’s lounge when he’s on his afternoon break. You even prepared him lunch! (“a cup of coffee is not lunch, Aizawa….no, jelly packets are not meals either,” you said to him the other day).
Your eyes caught sight of a pair of students. A tall young man with messy blond hair with a black streak on the right side and a short boy that had purple balls on his head.
“Hi!” You waved mannerly to signaled them.  “Uhm, I’m a bit lost, can you please tell me where the teacher’s lounge is?”
The boy with the blond hair looked surprised to see an unfamiliar face around campus but not only was he shocked to see a stranger having access to campus, but he was also more starstruck seeing a beautiful woman standing right in front of him.
“Uh-“ He straightened his back and cleared his throat. “Yeah! You’re close actually. It’s down the hall to the left, should be the second door.”
You smiled appreciatively to the boy and bowed respectfully. “Got it! Thank you so much!”
You waved goodbye as the boy blushed when he sees you walk off.
“Knock it off Kaminari!” The short boy to his left scolded as he elbowed his friend’s ribs and sneered at him.
“Who is that, Mineta?” Kaminari asked, twirling his head once more to see you walk down the hallway.
“I’m not sure, but she’s going to the teacher’s lounge…” Mineta replied with an eyebrow arched up.
You turned left down the hallway and found the plaque on the second door that labeled “Teacher’s lounge/office.”
You took a deep breath before sliding the door.  You have visited Aizawa at school before but no knows about the two of you except for a few teachers (that being: Present Mic, All Might, and Midnight), and you hoped that you weren’t bombarding in at a bad time. If there were a lot of students you were going to have to put on the stranger act that you did last month, and you weren’t anxious to pull that off again.
That was another thing about you and your boyfriend was how strangely similar you both are. You both enjoyed keeping your relationship private or low-key from a lot of people. Aizawa has always been a private guy, and although you were more open compared to him, you also prefer to keep some things just between the two of you. It made moments more special and electrifying. Though even if Aizawa wants to keep it low-key, he still likes to hold your hand in public or give you a hug, and when no one is looking, he gives you a quick kiss on the cheek (or maybe on the neck but let’s not go there ;) ).
You slid the door gently and when you stepped in, you can immediately see your boyfriend hunched over on his computer, sitting a couple of feet away from Present Mic. His long black disheveled hair poked out way too obvious and you giggled at his stern face staring at the computer. Thankfully, all the other staffs were not there and no students were to be seen either.
Present Mic looked up to see who entered and grinned widely when he saw you. He nudged Aizawa on the shoulder and whispered “Oi, your girlfriend is here!”
Aizawa looked up and sees you standing their ever so beautifully with your light cream floral blouse and navy blue jeans. He smiles at you as he gets up from the chair and comes toward you.
“Hey,” he said with a husky voice. His black eyes staring directly into yours.
“Hey,” you echoed teasingly with a cute smile. “Brought you lunch.” You lift your left hand, holding the carefully wrapped clothed bento.
You both walked toward his seat as you put down the bento on his desk. Aizawa hummed as he wrapped his hands around your waist, pulling you closer. He pulls you into a hug and whispered a soft “thank you” to your right ear and lets you go gently.
He definitely missed you.
Along with liking to keep the relationship private, Aizawa is a bit different when he’s with you. For one thing, he’s way more talkative— He loves to chat with you, about his likes and dislikes. His latest “what’s been annoying me” rants to the “that wasn’t rational” conversations. He also loves to hear your voice. He treasures your nods as you listen intently because it makes him feel even more pleased that you were listening (of course you were). And if he drank too much coffee that evening, you two will often be snuggled up on the couch as you both talk about your days— the burdens that have been on your minds and the simple happiness that you two found. He didn’t mind Present Mic next to him to see his actions, after all, he was his best friend since high school, and plus, he was the first to know about you two as well. But that doesn’t mean Mic won’t tease.
“AWWWWW MAN, AIZAWA!!!! You’re such a softie!” Mic teased as he glanced a glimpse of the two of you holding hands, chatting with a small smile on both of your lips.
Aizawa turned his head coldly at Mic with a death glare. “Shut it.”
You laughed as you see your boyfriend slightly blushing. You grabbed a chair so the two of could sit down at his desk and you leaned forward to glance what he’s been up to. Aizawa slung his left arm around your shoulder as he talked to you about the assignments he has working on. As you listened intently, you couldn’t help but feel so warm by his presence. His half-lidded eyes were mesmerizing to you and you wrapped your arm around his lower back gently rubbing small circles back and forth.
“Sounds like a lot,” you said when he finished. “Good thing I’m here to cheer you on, right?” You said with a confident cheeky wink.
Aizawa rolled his eyes at you sarcastically but you could tell that his lips were trying not to tug upward.
“You look good today,” you said softly to him. Your voice came soft and low, that only he could hear it, and it was true. Never once were you not starstruck from his costume. The gray scarf dangling around his neck nonchalantly, the black on black long-sleeved shirt and pants, all tied together with his dark brown utility belt and black boots. You don’t tell him this, but even after dating for many months now and seeing his costume for the millionth time, it still sends butterflies to your stomach.
Aizawa looked at you, not saying a word, but rather leaning down to give you a deep kiss on the lips. It was soft and tender, but it left you wanting more (dang public places!).
Present Mic, only a couple feet away, turned red when he saw what was happening and tried to go back to his business. Though, he caught a few glances here and there.
“You look beautiful today too, as always,” Aizawa said to you when he parted his lips away from yours.  You rested your head on his shoulder and hugged him tightly as your cheeks heated up from the compliment.
“Go get a room,” Mic blurted, staring at the screen of his computer typing mindlessly away.
You laughed out loud with your hands on your stomach while Aizawa let go of you to shoot Mic another deadly stare.
You tilted Aizawa’s chin back to face you and with a smile, you kissed him again passionately, just for good measure.
But if you knew what would happen next, you wouldn’t have dared to make that move, because only a few seconds later, you heard a sliding on the door.
“Uhm, Aizawa-sensei, we were wondering if—“ a familiar voice said aloud, making you part away immediately from Aizawa’s lips with eyes widened in surprise.
When you looked up, you saw the two students that you encountered in the hallway, and from the look of their faces, you could guarantee that they saw their teacher kissing the woman that they met today. Though, the purple boy looked like he was having more of a seizure than a shocked look.
You sucked in a breath, realizing that two of Aizawa’s students just caught you two together, and it was definitely not the time to pull off a stranger’s act. But a grab of your hand underneath the table calmed you down immediately, and when you turned to see your boyfriend, you were shocked to see his expression.
His smirky grin and lustful eyes said: Well, they were going to find out sooner or later, right?
You gave a weary smile as Aizawa squeeze your hand a little bit and leaned towards you in a surprisingly upbeat tone:
“Well, today is going to be an interesting day.”
Aizawa x gender neutral reader
Story under the cut :)
Unedited but like edited but still not properly edited :)
Hope you enjoy!!!
a/n: it’s been a hot min since I’ve written a fic. I think the last time i was 14 and it was shit and on wattpad. Ha. I hate myself. N e way, I was recently writing some shit for an au me and my friend thought up and in the back of my mind I was like, “you should start writing fics again bc this is kinda fun”, soo lo and behold I made a post asking if anyone would be interested, shared a little too much personal shit in it but whatever, and have now decided to write this mother fucker. (3/25/21)
a/n: not sure if anyone will care about this series of a/n’s but I’m just chronicling thoughts ig. rewriting rn bc my first draft was short and ass. Also I’m thinking about opening requests after this is posted, will go into detail in a diff post maybe. (3/28/21)
a/n: deleted everything, rewriting. I just want to make something that might be decent and if I can give that feeling, y’know those chills you get when you read something utterly gorgeous, but I’m bad at writing. sadge (3/28/21, like several hours later)
a/n: ugh (4/1/21)
a/n: ugh pt 2 electric boogaloo. I can’t seem to move forward with the writing. I realized something like this might happen bc to solve a problem feelings need to be discussed and I fucking hate doing that so you can see where I’m fucking up lmaooooo (4/2/21)
a/n: I read angst to fuel my writing brain. So, read some angst, finally writing agian. This first section is probs as long as the story itself LMFAO(4/5/21)
Started: (3/25/21) Finished: (4/5/21)
Warnings: uh angst, curse words, like a lot, (i saw someone else put this as a warning, do I actually need it?), avoiding problems instead of actually facing them, mentions of shit so-so parenting, mentions of not being able to live up to high expectations, y’know, the works
Synopsis: Aizawa takes in Eri without running it by you first and expects you to be okay with it. That’s funny. He was wrong.
Can I preface this with a thought? I’m going to anyway,
all the fics I read paint him as the sweetest partner and I’m sure he is but I think they miss out on how blunt he is and his whole “Mr. Rationality” thing. So as much as I adore him I think there are situations that he’d be a bit more colder towards, a bit more straightforward about. Maybe even like a bit insensitive about but maybe bc he doesn’t have the full picture or something. so I guess this is another warning but aizawa is a little insensitive in the beginning (but like not really but kinda. it’s complicated)
~
Rain pattered softly against the window. The smell of some old random Bath and Bodyworks candle you’d dug out from a box you’d never bothered to unpack smothered the room. Some Netflix show idly played on a low volume on your computer, you’d lost interest in watching tv awhile ago. You needed a break. After the eventful month you’d been having you really needed this.
Now of course your whole year so far had been eventful. What with all the villain attacks on you and Shouta’s class and the kidnapping of one of your students, to just dealing with the more mundane problems with your students. No. You had no problem with that. The villains, although not easy, were something you were trained to handle. The smaller problems with your students weren’t arduous either, after all you weren’t too much older than them.
When reflecting on your situation, from and outside perspective it could be seen as the straw the broke the camels back, which sure, makes sense. After all, you’re bound to be stressed out by everything else, so why would this seemingly insignificant thing weigh heavier than a villain attack? Well if that is the situation why does this single straw feel like it weighs a ton? This is not that. This is not culmination of the events of this year draining the life from you. This is something entirely different. A panic inducing life change that completely took you by surprise mixed with your inability to actually face your problems.
You don’t blame them. You can’t. They’ve done nothing wrong. A child. A small, probably mentally scarred child is your problem. Well not her personally but the fear taking care of her instills in you. Despite working in the field that you do, you cannot for the life of you handle actual children. Sure you’re a little awkward with your class but at least they’re young adults and (vaguely) mature and independent to a certain extent. The fact that your long term boyfriend just came back one day, small child in tow and said “Hey I’ve gotta look after this one now” not verbatim obviously, for a lack of better words, fucked you up. He basically solo adopted a kid and, let’s be honest, he probably expected you to help out. But how could you? How could this man look at you and think “I want this person to help me raise an already fucked up child?” Ok sure, he doesn’t at first give off the “I’m totally father figure material” vibe but in the end he is extremely competent. You on the other hand, not so much.
You’d never been good with children. Tried your best to steer clear of them. Didn’t matter the place, didn’t matter who’s kid, you couldn’t handle them. You would just stand there, awkwardly, not entirely sure of what to do and petrified that there was the possibility of making some mistake which would upset the child and then oh wow look, your head got chopped right of your shoulders. That’s hyperbole of course but it does sum up the insurmountable fear that overcomes you whenever you have to deal with a child. So considering the fact that your long term boyfriend had suddenly decided to adopt and not at least warn you, didn’t sit right with you.
So, the best and most obvious choice, was to avoid your problem. Avoid Shouta, avoid Eri. Avoid the mention of them and you, avoid it all. And honestly you’d done pretty well so far. You were able to have as little contact with them as possible considering the close proximity of your living quarters in the teacher’s dorms. After all they were legally supposed to give you two separate rooms but you never actually used yours, well until now. You were living it up honestly. Did you feel awful? Of course. He is your boyfriend after all and you were sure Eri doesn’t deserve your cold shoulder but this is probably for the best. What could you offer her? You weren’t sure that you were a good role model for her or anyone for that matter. What did you know about raising kids? it’s not like you had parents to set a proper example for you. Of course they might have shown you what not to do but where do you go from there? Is shit like that really avoidable? You don’t want to be like them. You strive to be better but what if you can’t be. There’s also the added bonus of the fact that raising a kid seems taxing on a relationship. Now matter how strong you were sure that the stress of a kid could break a relationship down that then festers into something toxic and unrecognizable. You didn’t want that. God you couldn’t let that happen. No. This was definitely for the better.
Of course Aizawa didn’t feel the same. He was confused on why his partner had been so blatantly avoiding him. Did he do something wrong? He doesn’t remember doing anything that might’ve upset you. So why now? Why pull away now? He had to get down to the bottom of this but catching you was the hard part. You had been taking on more work, offering more assistance to the other teachers, picking up extra patrols, doing everything and anything to stay away from Shouta. It took him a month but he finally caught up to you. You were tired, worn out he knew that. Instead of loading yourself with work you’d decided to hole yourself up in your room. It was now or never.
You were pulled out of your peace at the sound of a few gentle knocks to your door. You really didn’t want to get it. You honestly couldn’t be bothered.
“(N/n)? Are you in there?” He hadn’t gotten it wrong right? He hadn’t been too distracted earlier and missed you leaving right?
“What’s up?” You hummed from your place by the window, not bothering to actually open the door.
“Can I come in?” Shouta asked, voice soft. You could barely hear him above the patter of the rain and the low humming of your laptop.
“Uh, no, kinda busy. Got loads of work to do. Need to focus, sorry. Maybe later?” You hesitantly spoke. Not sure if you were convincing enough.
Apparently you weren’t.
He sighed. “It’s been “later” for an entire month. Please (Y/n) just let me in. Whatever this is we can talk it out.” You had predicted that eventually Shouta would start to try to crack down on whatever the issue was but you didn’t expect it so soon.
“Uh...no?” You tried, hoping that maybe he’d just give up but that wasn’t Shouta.
“No, you don’t get that option, now please, open the door.” Although it was still soft his voice had taken a more stern tone.
“Oh no I’m dead. I guess I can’t open the door. What a shame. I guess the only way to talk with me now is in the pits of hell.” You quipped, trying to lessen the tension that already ran thick.
“(Y/n).” Aizawa sighed.
“Jeez fine. Talk about pushy.” You quipped once more to no avail.
Opening the door you were met with, well exactly what you expected. He stood there, arms crossed, a stern yet gentle look in his eyes, his lips pulled into a slight frown.
“Come in.” You mumbled as you stepped further into your room.
“So tell me. What’s wrong?” The sentence stirred so much. Of course you wanted to tell him. You wanted to spill your guts to the man you loved in hopes of comfort but you just can’t. You know you’ll just scare him off. You know you’ll make things worse.
So you stay silent.
He says nothing as he grabs your hands gently and leads you over to your bed. He sits the two of you down on the edge, muting the movie on the laptop sitting behind him.
“You know you can tell me if something’s bothering you right?” Shouta sent you a warm smile.
You weren’t very comfortable with discussing your feelings sometimes, it mostly stemmed from the fact that you never really could discuss them with anyone growing up which made it harder to confide in anyone now, as at this point bottling things up was a habit. But this was also just something that you were sure that you couldn’t talk about.
Silence answered him once again.
Now he took sometime to think about his approach, think about what could’ve happened that made you pull away. What did he do that was different from his norm? He was genuinely stumped and the fact that you weren’t helping him confused him even more.
You decided to take this time to lament the situation too. What was he going to do? Should you actually tell him or play it off? If you play it off will he still insist that something is wrong? If you tell him will he leave you? If you don’t tell him will he leave you? You risked a glance at him, he was still deep in thought.
Why did you have to adopt this fucking kid without at least warning me?
“What?” Your head shot up at the sound of his shocked voice.
“What?” You asked, genuinely confused.
“Eri’s the problem...?” He spoke slowly, not entirely sure if he’d heard you right.
“Did I say that out loud?” You squeaked.
“I’m pretty sure you mumbled something along the lines of “why’d you have to adopt that fucking kid”.” Shouta said, unsure if he’d heard wrong. Wanting to have heard wrong.
“No no no no no no! It’s not like that! I mean it is like that but not like that!” You frantically waved your hands in hopes of defusing the situation.
The way he looked at you made you want to cry. You felt horrible. You felt like the biggest asshole in the world and, at this point you probably were. He looked at you with such a look of heartbreak and disappointment and confusion it made you sick to your stomach. You felt light-headed and started shaking. You were right. You were right. You were always right. God why did you have to be right! Why did you have to be like this? Scared of raising a fucking child! It was asinine and irrational and you could probably move past it  but thanks to your stupid fucking brain you just sealed your fate.
You scooted away from him still waving your hands frantically as no’s tumbled endlessly from your lips. You tried sputtering an apology, anything so that he wouldn’t look at you like that but nothing stuck. Nothing was comprehensible. Nothing worked. Nothing would work. Nothing will work. You were hopeless. It was hopeless.
“If it isn’t like how it seems then tell it to me straight.” Shouta finally spoke up.
You took a second to come down from your panic. You steeled your nerves as much as possible before you spoke.
“Um well, I have nothing against her it’s just that a little heads up would’ve been nice? I’m not all that great with kids so this is just kind of weird is all.” You were purposefully being vague in hopes that he’d understand what you meant and also maybe drop it.
“Not great with kids? You’re literally a teacher.” He pointed out.
“Yeah you know but she’s like a kid kid and let’s be honest I’m not too great with the students either.” You awkward laughed. So he wasn’t getting it.
“Wha-you’re fine with the students and I’m sure you’ll be fine with Eri, there was no reason to avoid me over this.” Shouta sighed. As good as he was with dealing with people, he was equally as shit. Or maybe it was just the fact that you gave him very little to work with. It was probably a bit of both. Still his dismissiveness was not helping you right now.
“No, no, no, no. I think I’ll stay here. Uh, good luck with your parenthood escapades and sorry to leave you high and dry like this but that’s going to have to be a no from me.” You rambled. He seemed to be getting a little tired of this.
“(Y/n) stop being irrational. She’s not even our kid I’m just looking after her for now. Why are you being difficult? I told you you were fine with the students and you’ll be fine with Eri, what else do you want to hear?” Shouta grumbled.
“Well uh I don’t know, uh...” You trailed off, this seemed to be going in a direction you really didn’t want it to go. A slight hostility settling in the air.
At your lack of a proper answer he clicked his tongue. He took a moment to reassess the situation. There had to be something he was missing. After all you were getting really worked up but if you weren’t going to talk to him there was nothing he could do. He shook his head before running a frustrated hand through his hair.
“(Y/n), please, please, just be honest with me. Whatever it is that’s bothering you, you can tell me. But I won’t be able to understand if you don’t.” Aizawa sighed, deciding that getting worked up about this was not the way to go, especially when you seemed to be especially distraught.
“Uh, god the thing is I don’t know entirely what to say to put the shitshow in my head into perspective.” You mumbled, trying desperately to figure out what to say that could clear the air but nothing seemed to be coherent enough.
“Take your time.” He decided that this was the best approach to things, making sure neither party got too worked up lest this turn into a fight.
The rain continued to patter softly against the window and your candle continued to burn an slightly off floral-ish scent.  A deafening silence hung in the air because even though he was being as patient as possible some of his frustration leaked through, it was bound to though so you couldn’t exactly blame him. After all, you were probably equally as frustrated with yourself too.
“I’m just not good in a position like this. I’m not good with kids, especially someone like Eri who’s already so broken. You have that nurturing nature, it comes natural to you but I’m not on that level. I  don’t know the first thing about caring for a child let alone one as already traumatized as her. I’d fuck it up and only make things worse. I don’t want you to reassure me that I’ll be okay with her, I want you to understand that I’m not comfortable with this and that it might take me awhile to come around. I’m sure I sound like the biggest asshole ever but please understand that this just isn’t something I’m ready for.” You had rambled a bit, you were aware of that, but it was the only way that you could properly express your feelings without making things too complicated.
Aizawa said nothing. Trying to figure out how to go about things.
Was he upset? Yeah, you two, even after several long years of being together, hadn’t discussed moving forward in your relationship in depth. And if he’d tried you seemed content with the point you two were at so he left it be, no reason to try and move forward when what you had was already fine the way it was. But recently he’d been craving more. Some mornings, when he’d be the first to wake, he’d study your features in the soft light of the sunrise and wonder what it’d be like to properly settle down with you. Get married, start a family, all that jazz. He’d taken in Eri only because it was the most rational decision. His quirk would be good for quelling hers had it ever gotten out of hand. But it also seemed to quell his musings of something more with you. He had imagined you being a good parental figure for the little girl and it made his heart flutter and his stomach explode with butterflies. But now seeing that that wasn’t what you wanted and how you weren’t ready for it, it stung. But in the end, he loved you. He’d easily give his life for you. So, if that meant waiting he’d wait. He’d wait a million years if he had to. He could do it.
Once again he spoke,
“Take your time then. I can wait.”
Score of zero: Love (”Gym” pt.2)
@ everybodyhatesluh asked: “I need part 2 of "gym"! Plss! Where the reader tells her love for L! And then her dad askes her who is her boyfriend! I would Love! Luh~💫💛🦋"
Tennis references~
I like putting L in a difficult position, ehehe~
pairing: L x Yagami!fem!reader
warning: fluff I guess?
requested: yes
Remember English is not my first language (and it’s a bit late here) so I’m sorry about the mistakes in my stories.
Tumblr media
«"Chocolate Covered Strawberry Brownies"? No, I don't have the mould»
Flip.
«"Heart-Shaped Cake"? Too obvious»
Flip.
«"Strawberry Shortcake Fudge"? It's too pink»
Y/N closed the book and groaned. «Ugh! I can't get my head round this! The fact that he loves all sweets bothers me…»
It was late afternoon at Yagami house. Orange sunbeams lighted up the kitchen and the living room creating a relaxing atmosphere, all despite the narrow space of the house. Y/N was alone in that moment: Light was somewhere with Soichiro, Sachiko was visiting one of her friends and Sayu was at school for some project.
Y/N took advantage of the situation to bake something for Hideki on the occasion of Valentine's Day. However, she sensed that Hideki would never reciprocate her feelings: he gave her the impression to be out of her reach.
«Come on! I'm a Yagami, after all! At least I have to try» Y/N leafed again through the cookery book when she heard the front door open.
«I'm home!»
It was Sayu, she came back earlier from school. Y/N quickly tried to hide the cookbook but Sayu entered the kitchen in a rush. «Y/N~ What are you doing?»
«Me? I wanted to bake something…»
«Really? For who?~» Sayu asked with a strange smirk.
«For myself I guess?» Y/N lied hoping Sayu would go away. But her little sister's smirk just grew wider.
«I don’t believe you~» the two sisters stared at each other for entire minutes. They were secretly hoping the other would give in.
Y/N sighed. «Fine, it's for a boy…» she admitted after a while, Y/N couldn’t lie at her cute sister.
Sayu, on the other hand, was squealing like a fangirl. «I knew it! I knew it! My sis has a crush!»
«Sayu please! Don’t yell…and don’t tell dad!»
Once again, the youngest Yagami smirked mischievously. «I will be as silent as the grave…at one condition»
Y/N sighed again. «What condition…»
«You have to help me with homework for a month»
Y/N complained loudly but if it was the price for Sayu's silence, she had to accept it. So Y/N agreed with her sister and together they started to choose a good sweet to give to this mysterious boy. Y/N told her about how they met and how she became infatuated by him despite most people would define him as "weird".
«Since you played tennis with him, why don’t you do something that recalls a tennis match?» Sayu said casually while browsing through the cookbook bored. At first Y/N didn’t pay attention to what she said but then, after a long reasoning, she hugged Sayu very tightly.
«Sayu, you're a genius!»
♰ TIME SKIP ♰
Something in L's plan went wrong. Impossible, nothing planned by him went wrong…but what happened?
Originally, his intention was to get closer to Y/N Yagami in order to find some evidence about his involvement in the Kira case. More in particular, a proof that Y/N's older brother was, indeed, Kira himself. L would appear in the right places at the right moments, he would always say the right things and he would always be a great listener. Of course he already knew everything about the Yagami family so every confidence Y/N would do to him, the greatest detective L was already informed about it. But he acted as if he never heard anything.
Initially, it went well. Y/N was getting closer and closer to him, her confidences became more intimate and she opened more to him. L was even touched when he heard from her –during the period of surveillance- that she was in love with him, he found her cute. In this exact moment everything fell for him. And L fell too…yes, he fell in love with Y/N Yagami.
In this situation we shouldn’t forget about Soichiro. He, being Y/N's father, was more than bothered by what he heard from the cameras in his house. But not because he didn’t trust his Y/N but mostly because he didn’t trust this "boy" she talked about.
«Uhm Chief…are you sure about this?»
«Matsuda, we have to investigate. This boy could be Kira!»
«But Chief…I think your daughter would never date a potential Kira» Aizawa replied looking at his superior with shock.
«Aizawa is right, Yagami-san. Please, focus your energies on the Kira case and not on your daughter's romantic life»
Soichiro snorted, not fully convinced, but Ryuzaki was his superior co-worker and he had to obey. At least for now.
.
.
.
.
«Casual or formal attire?»
«Casual of course. It's not a date…yet»
«Sayu!»
The two sister, together in Y/N's room, were deciding the outfit for Y/N's love confession. Now she understood her classmates' nervousness about Valentine's day.
«Dress or not dress?» Y/N asked unsure in front of the mirror with two cute dresses in her hands.
«Y/N, wear whatever makes you comfortable…even your school uniform if you want»
She nodded at Sayu and chose F/C shirt / blouse / sweatshirt / hoodie paired with F/C pants / skirt / shorts and favourite shoes. In her bag / small backpack she put all her belongings and the cake she baked for Hideki. Y/N applied a little bit of makeup and brushed her H/C hair in a cute hairstyle.
«How do I look?»
«Gorgeous sis~»
Y/N smiled at Sayu and thanked her for all the advices. Shortly afterwards she would confess her feelings for a boy met at the gym.
♰ TIME SKIP ♰
And then, the day came. 14th February. Y/N decided to meet Hideki after one of his tennis matches at the To-Oh University. She was so nervous, she could sense how sweaty the hands were and how the heart was beating fast.
She was going to come back home and to postpone everything when she saw Hideki at the door of the gym.
«Y/N-chan, hello» Hideki walked closed, slouched as always with his tennis racket in one hand. He hadn’t no sweat on him despite the other athletes behind him were tired.
«H-Hideki-kun! Hi…how was the training today?» Y/N wanted to slap herself for the stutter when she greeted him.
«Quite boring, the others were not skilled as you or your brother» he smiled at her clearly moved by that sudden shyness from the second-born Yagami.
«Would you…would you go to the nearby cafeteria? I heard there's a special menu today»
«Gladly Y/N-chan»
And together they went to this new cafeteria near the To-Oh. However, the too much mushy aspect of the place made Y/N regret the offer she made to Hideki.
«Ah today is Valentine's Day…» Hideki said once inside the cafeteria, looking curiously around like a child inside a toy store: pink and red hearts everywhere –even sweets and candies had that shape-, a strawberry scent filled the air and on TV there was a famous musical.
The waiter asked if Y/N and Hideki were a couple and Y/N quickly said they were only friends. With a fast look, Y/N noticed that Hideki didn’t flinch at that statement. Maybe he really didn’t fell anything for her. A wave of sadness and disappointment hit her like a train and suddenly she started to hate that day.
Hideki and Y/N, once the waiter showed them a table, sat down they talked about many things: sport, University, school and about Kira too.
«What do you think of Kira, Y/N-chan?»
«Well…» she thought for a bit before answering. «It doesn’t matter how noble their ideals are, killing people is always a crime. So I hope this L will catch them»
«Yes, I hope it too»
The two of them were so much focused on their conversation that they didn’t notice someone recognised them from the shop window.
«Matsu look! Isn't that Ryuzaki?» Misa was looking at the shop window searching for something to buy for Light when she spotted a familiar black haired boy who was crouched on the chair instead of sitting.
Matsuda, who was with her according to L's orders, spied inside the cafeteria and he recognised not only Ryuzaki but Chief Yagami's daughter too. «That's Light's sister! So the famous "boy met at the gym" is Ryuzaki! I have to tell the Chief»
In that moment, Y/N grew nervous when she remembered the cake in her bag / small backpack. And Hideki must have noticed it.
«Are you alright, Y/N-chan?»  his monotone voice distracted the young girl from her nervous thoughts.
«Well…actually no»
«Is something bothering you?»
«I…have something to tell you, Hideki» she shifted anxiously in the chair.
«What is it?» again, Hideki's emotionless voice didn’t suggest her what he was feeling. Had she to continue? Or was it better to end the "date" there?
Her shaking hands curled into fists, determination was clear in her E/C eyes. «If I tell you I… You know… Care about you… Would you laugh at me? I never felt so good around someone…for once I was not Light Yagami's sister or Chief Yagami's daughter. With you I can be just Y/N, a girl who clearly cannot even choose a proper place to confess, eh!» she chuckled at the last part, maybe her attempt to wash away her current nervous state.
Then she took a cute pastel purple box from the bag / small backpack and placed it on the table. «I made this…for you» she didn’t dare to look up at him, scared of his reaction.
Y/N heard he took the box and slowly he was opening it. Its contents were chocolate-covered cake balls that recalled tiny tennis balls. «Since I first saw you after a tennis match, I thought it would be nice doing something in memory of that day» she added shortly after, her gaze was still focused on her lap.
On the other hand, despite from outside he would appear calm and composed, L was panicking inside. He knew Y/N was going to confess, he knew what day was…so why that confession, those simple words hit him so hard?
"Internal check: sweaty hands, dry mouth, quickened heartbeat and…warm face. Wait…warm face?" L thought while observing the tiny cakes in front of him.
Yes, L was blushing and his brain was in tilt. Too many thoughts, too many emotions so suddenly. It floored him.
«But it seems…I imagined everything» Y/N broke the embarrassing silence that filled the air between them. Her voice cracked showing how much hurt she was. «Thank you for your time, Hideki-kun…and sorry» she stood up and bowed at him.
She was going to leave the cafeteria when a strong grip at her wrist stopped her. She turned and a tint of pink painted her cheeks, in front of her one of the cutest sight: a tomato-red Hideki who was looking away embarrassed.
«Excuse me, Y/N-chan, I have to say something against what you said earlier…»
«Uh?»
«I apologise if I didn’t reply to you but…hm…I don’t know the protocol for this kind of situations. Few moments ago I had so many thoughts in my mind but my mouth wasn’t able to formulate a proper phrase» L started to say, now it was his turn to be embarrassed, something so rare for him. «And about what you said before…I accept them. Your feelings, I mean. People like you are rare and precious…and since I always want the best, I want you by my side» he moved his dark eyes on her noticing she was even redder than him.
Y/N was staring at him in disbelief. Did she hear it right? He said…he accepted her feelings. She wasn’t dreaming, right?
«So…would you eat those sweets with me?» Hideki asked her and she nodded with a bright smile on her face.
At the same time, at the HQ, Matsuda informed Soichiro about what he saw at the cafeteria. At those words, Soichiro became gloomy and baffled.
«Ryuzaki is my daughter's boyfriend and my superior co-worker…this is even worse than I imagined»
Aizawa and Mogi were looking at him concerned. «Matsuda…you owe me 30.000¥» (A/N: something like 275$ USD with the actual exchange rate).
The young detective sighed defeated and gave the money to Aizawa.
«I knew I was right all along»
