Hey there! I really hope you had an amazing week so far. For me, I finally finished all my exams this week. This means I will have finished school forever in only 4 weeks!😱 How crazy is that?!
Important information:
Next Wednesday I won’t upload a new chapter, because I am at a funeral, and I don’t think I will be in the mood to do anything that day anymore. I hope you can understand🙏🏼
If you don’t want to wait until next Sunday for my next chapter, I can only recommend you to check out Inferiority complex written by my friend @starlightauroras-main. It’s a super cute and exciting story about Hybrid!Jimin and the reader. Please, leave her a lot of likes and comments, because she deserves it!
Here in Germany, it is Easter weekend next week. Do you celebrate Easter where you come from?

[chapter 10 ||| chapter 12]
Jungkook was sitting crossed legs on his favourite spot in the middle of the hallway, looking dreamily at the photo wall, where now the photo of him and Jin was hanging as well. It was one of the day were he had nothing to do at all.
In the morning, he had already finished his sport routine, ripping Jin out of his sleep as well when he had punched against his bag. After breakfast, he had practiced the guitar and read in his book again, before he helped Jin to get ready for his grocery shopping tour with Hope. Hope always offered that they could join her when she would go buying groceries, because she wanted to offer them as much freedom as possible.
They had put Jin’s long, fluffy tail down the leg of his trousers, while a black beanie had covered his ears from the other people’s glances. Lucky for them, autumn had arrived in New York, so it wouldn’t be strange to wear a hat when going outside. The both of them had left a few minutes ago, and since there was nothing else for Jungkook to do, he had sat down and looked over the photos.
Sometimes, it all felt unreal to him. Just about 2.5 months ago, he had been strolling around the streets, not knowing what the next they would hold for him. He had thought that his whole life would have to include fear and submission, because that was the only thing he had learnt in life. Never had he thought, that he would do simple things like watching TV, sleeping in his own bed or just sitting at the same table as a human.
Not once Hope had askes anything from him, since she had taken him and his brother in. She gave them anything, showing them that they were worth it all. In the past, he had several thoughts about not worthing all the things she offered. It was stuck in his brain for too long.
He often asked himself why people were so cruel these days. Hope had told him what had happened a long time ago, and how the people told themselves that their minds had changed. Since he had been living with the girl, he somehow didn’t felt that different anymore. He was just living his life with his brother, doing the things he liked without being punished for it. He wanted everyone to have that possibility.
His thoughts were interrupted when the door behind him opened with a small squeaking sound. He didn’t need to turn around, because by now, he knew Jimin’s scent. The smaller tiger and his grumpy brother had been staying with them for over 1.5 weeks now. Jungkook wasn’t that happy in the beginning when they crashed into his life without warning.
Especially, when that grumpy tiger growled at Hope that one evening or when he showed off his fangs. Though he hadn’t sharp tooth like him, he would not have been afraid to kick them out of the flat, but he had tried to calm himself down when Jin used his stern tone on him. His brother was right, a few weeks ago, him and Jin had been in the same position as Jimin and Taehyung. They laid scared and injured on the girl’s sofa, begging for her to help them.
“What are you doing?” Jimin had stepped out of the room and was now standing behind Jungkook, looking curiously at the bunny Hybrid.
Jungkook had to admit that he somehow like that white tiger. Jimin was a calm person to hang out with. He wasn’t sure about him in the beginning, because he had thought he was like his grumpy brother, but once he had talked to him a few times, he had developed sympathy for him.
“I look at those photos.” Jungkook turned his head and looked at the smaller male.
Jimin’s white ears stood up in attention, while his tail was slightly wrapped around his left thigh. He was looking at the photos on the wall, before he took a step closer and carefully sunk himself down next to the bunny. Jimin had definitely changed since the first time he came here, Jungkook could tell. He had become braver, talking and joining them sometimes while eating or watching TV.
Jungkook didn’t mind thought. He had wanted a friend (who wasn’t his brother) for a long time, because when Jin was cooking in the kitchen and Hope was working on her computer, he often got bored.
“Are you only looking at them all day long?” Jimin had crossed his legs as well, as he carefully studied the pictured on the wall.
“I –“ Jungkook stopped. It was hard to explain his affection for pictures. “It just – when I first came here, I was so scared that maybe Hope would be as cruel as my – as my last owners. But then she showed me around and when I saw those pictures and she told me the stories behind them, it just felt right. They made me feel – safe and like I was home, you know? It’s hard to explain, but I just love that wall.”
Jungkook pulled up his knees towards his chest, before putting his head onto them. Jimin next to him just hummed in response, but he wasnt saying anything for another few minutes. Jungkook knew it may sounded selfish when he talked about his now happy life, while he knew that Jimin and Taehyung technically didn’t have one. After all, they weren’t living here.
“It must be great to have Hope as your owner.” Jimin suddenly said, his voice held a lot of sadness. “Since I can think, Taehyung had been my only family. It had always been just him and me.”
“Jin and me were alone for a long time, too.” Jungkook turned his head to look at the older male sitting next to him. “I always thought that I would spend my whole life with those cruel people. I thought that I was destined to live like that, but then I met Hope and everything just turned upside down. She is just – she gave me everything I could have ever asked for.”
Jungkook didn’t realized that he was already rumbling about the girl again, but Jimin did.
“You are talking about her a lot.” Jimin just stated, as they looked into each other’s eyes. “You like her, don’t you?”
Of course Jungkook liked her. Hope was the only human he knew who would actually treat him as if he was a real person and not just some animal. She gave him a real home. A home that he loved to wake up in every morning, and a home he felt safe to go to sleep in the evening.
In addition, Hope was a really beautiful girl in his eyes. He always like the way her skin would glow in the sun when they sat at the breakfast table. The way she always closed her tired eyes, as she sipped at her coffee mug, or how that two dimples would form on her cheeks every time she laughed along with him. Somehow it would always make his own cheeks reddened when caught himself thinking about her.
Not to mention her scent, that was all over the apartment and the furniture. It was nothing he could describe or compare with something, but still, it was the most beautiful scent he had ever smelled in his life. He never wanted to miss that anymore.
He wanted to feel that closeness they had while they would be cuddling onto the couch, watching the Simpsons over and over again. As well as her small kisses on the head when she would say good-night to him, or when she would massage the back of his head. He wouldn’t even have a problem with her touching his ears by now.
“Yes, I like her.” He whispered back, confessing it for the very first time to another person.
Jimin pulled his eyebrows together in surprise and confusion. Of course, he had noticed that the girl was very natural and nice, which made her likable, but he also hadn’t known her for as long as Jungkook.
“Did you tell her that?” Jimin innocently asked the bunny Hybrids after a few seconds of silence.
“No, it’s not appropriate, Jimin.” He said quietly, fixing his eyes on the photo were the girl smiled at her graduation ceremony. “I am just a Hybrid after all. She would never get involved in something like that. She deserves better than me.”
Jimin just nodded in response, before he fixed his eyes on the photo wall once again, getting lost in his own mind. Jimin was clearly a person you could tell your matters and secrets without feeling judged un some kind. Jungkook felt really comfortable in the older one’s presence.
“Why is your brother even so grumpy all the time?” He suddenly changed the subject, wanting to cheer up the mood a little bit. “He is always pulling a face when I see him.”
Jungkook tried to imitate the older black tiger, making some funny grimaces that mad Jimin chuckle slightly. The white tiger shook his head, before he looked behind him to make sure Taehyung would not be standing behind them.
“Usually, he isn’t like that. Really.” He sighed, turning his attention back towards Jungkook. “He has been through a lot in the past. I swear, he would never hurt a fly, that would not be him. He can be really caring and protective, that’s why he reacted the way he did the other night. I am sorry for him, but he is only scared.”
Jungkook nodded, understanding Taehyungs reaction in some way. He probably would be the same way, if he would be in his position.
“I understand.” He mumbled, before a smile spread over his face. “But that doesn’t change the fact that he is a big, grumpy cat.”
Tumblr media
“Oh my god, Taehyung.” The girl gasped, as she removed the bandage that had been wrapped around the older boy’s injured arm. “That looks much worse than yesterday. Did you scratch it or something?”
The black tiger’s arm had become much better over the past few days. The infection had been gone down, but now it looked horrible. The skin was red and swollen again, with some blood coming through the injured skin.
“I – ehm – no?” He stuttered around, not looking her into the eyes. She cocked her eyebrow up and gave him a stern look. “Okay, it was itching badly last night, so I scratched it a little bit. Are you happy?”
Hope just rolled her eyes when he tried to talk in his loud way. He could be so stubborn. I he would just had asked her, she could have gave him some salve which had avoid that scenario. But he, he was too proud.
“Taehyung, this is no joke.” She grabbed the wet glove and tried to remove the small amount of blood, which made Taehyung hiss. “Your wound got infected again. You have to be more careful. If it itches again, just come to me and I add some salve to alleviate it, okay?”
She sighed when he just rolled his eyes in response. She had tried to show him that he could talk to her in a normal way, without intimidating her with his fangs or snapping at each other, but somehow he seemed to isolate himself on purpose, and she couldn’t understand why, because Jimin was the complete opposite.
The white tiger had clearly opened up over the past few days, talking and joking around in his bubbly way that was nice to watch. He even got a tiny little bit closer with Jungkook. She sometimes saw the two younger boys talking or watching TV together.
“Where did you even got that injury?” She suddenly asked without thinking. As soon as the words had left her, she noticed her mistake. “I am sorry, I didn’t mean to ask you that. It was inappropriate. You don’t have to tell me of course. I was just curious.”
Taehyung had bit his cheek inside his mouth, as she just turned her attention back towards his arm and continued to clean up the injury. For a short moment, she thought that he would again try to intimidate her with his fangs, but instead, he shook his head, before he turned his head away.
“After Jimin and I managed to get away from that audition – “ He hesitantly began to talk in a slow, deep voice. “ – they sent some chasers after us, that should catch us and bring us back. We ran for hours, when Jimin had suddenly spotted that old, rotten building. We tried to find an entrance, but we there was none, so we tried to climb through one of the windows. I wanted to jump from the window sill, when my arm got stuck at a nail, that I haven’t seen in the wall. That’s the beginning how I ended up here.”
Hope didn’t miss the bitterness in his voice when he talked about his escape. It took her much to not break out in tear in front of him, even though her heart broke at his story. She knew that inside in, Taehyung was just a normal boy with good intention, who deserves to live in a peaceful surrounding. He definitely didn’t deserve to live a live on the streets.
“I definitely need to be more careful the next time, what?” He suddenly joked, chuckling slightly.
It took the girl a few seconds to realize what he was talking about. Her heart skipped a beat when reality hit her. Jimin and Taehyung weren’t living here after all. She had told them in the beginning that they could stay until Taehyung was healthy again, and that day would come along soon.
Both tigers would leave the apartment again, going out on the streets an living their lives there. It broke her heart when she thought back how scared both of them had been when she had found them a few days ago in that abandoned parking house. In addition, winter would start soon and the temperatures were already falling. It would be crazy to spend the nights out there alone.
“Do you – “ She stopped, battling in her head if she you ask him that question or not. “Do you know where you want to – to go?”
Her voice was nothing more than a whisper. She actually didn’t want hear his response, knowing that it would stuck in her head and wouldn’t let her sleep anymore.
“No.” He whispered back, still refusing to look into her eyes. “We – we will just try to hide somewhere, I guess.”
Tumblr media
“Goodnight, Jimin.” She slightly waved at the white tiger, before he closed the door, leaving the small girl alone in the hallway.
The conversation from earlier was still bugging at her brain. She wanted to take in any Hybrid that was suffering in this world, but she knew it was impossible.
Over the past days, she had often thought about Jin and Jungkook and how she had just taken them in. Should she ask Jimin and Taehyung too? After all, the apartment offered them more than enough space to stay and it seemed like Jungkook and Jin got along with at least Jimin. But maybe Jungkook just acted nice because he knew that they would leave at some point.
It was not a decision she could take on her own. Jin and Jungkook were living here as well. She would have to accept their decision like they had always respected her decisions.
A shiver ran down her spine when she thought about how she would have to tell Jimin and Taehyung that they would have to leave again. Where would they go? Taehyung had told her that they would try to hide on the streets again, with no one to protect them, with no warm place to stay.
Carefully, she turned around and walked towards her boys’ door. She softly knocked against the piece of wood and stepped in when Jin told her so.
“Hope!” Jungkook jumped off the bed and walked with big steps over towards the smaller girl.
Gladly, she accepted the bunny’s hug. He wrapped his strong arms around her and pulled her closer until her face was pressed against his chest. She pressed her cheek against the soft fabric of his shirt and closed her eyes. Even though her nose wasn’t as good as theirs, she smelled his manly scent through the shirt.
When Jungkook let go of her, he took her hand and pulled her over towards the bed, before he sat down and pulled her next to him. Jin was sitting at the desk, writing something into his notebook when he spotted the girl. He closed the book and walked over as well, giving her a quick side hug when he sat down.
Hope was glad that Jin had warmed up to her over the past weeks. In the beginning, he had often kept his distance towards the girl when she was near. But by now, he wouldn’t pull his hand back when their hands would touch while they set the table, he wouldn’t move over to the end of the sofa while watching TV, and he even gave her small hug when they would say goodnight to each other.
“Why did you come, Hope?” Jungkook asked, as his big, brown orbs looked into her eyes.
He was still holding her smaller hand in his bigger ones, which made her heart beat a little bit faster. She had noticed that the small things he or Jin would do would make her cheeks redden or her heart beat a little bit faster. She told herself that it was because she never had such intensive contact with a boy and that she eventually would get used to that. What was going on with her body?
“I – ehm – “ She began to stutter, trying to remember the reason she came. “I wanted to talk to you about something. What – how are you doing so far? Did you feel different since I adopted the both of you?”
She decided to not jump into it right away. She was afraid that she would offend Jungkook with her huge request. Jin was another thing. She knew that he had a pretty calm and rational personality. He never let his emotion take over him like Jungkook, who spoke before he had thought about it.
“Amazing.” Jungkook swarmed, squeezing her hand slightly. “I feel so happy now that we can live here. But I wish we could do more to help you with everything. Sometimes, I feel bad because you have to most of the things alone. I wish that I could just do more.”
The bunny sunk his ears next to his head. His eyes were filled with sadness.
“Oh, Kookie.” She lifted her hand and carefully drove it over his thick hair. “You do more than enough for me. Look, you always help me doing the laundry and set the table for me, this is a big help, you know? One day, you can do anything you like, I promise, okay?”
Jungkook’s head shot up, before he nodded quickly. He rubbed his head a few more times against her hands, before he looked over towards Jin, who was slightly smiling as well.
“I – “ He stopped for a shirt moment. “I feel truly happy. Sometimes, I still think back at – the those people – but then – I am not scared anymore, because I know that I have Jungkook and you and then it’s okay.”
“That’s nice to hear, Jin.” Hope took his hand in her right on and squeezed it slightly. “But what do you think about Jimin and Taehyung? I know you didn’t like them being here in the beginning.”
Immediately, she felt the hand to her left side tense up at her question. Jungkook didn’t seemed to be so fond of that question.
“I like Jimin.” Jin said without hesitation. “He is fun to hang out with. He helped me cooking a few times. But that other boy, Taehyung, I have barely seen him, and if he was grumpy. I think he is still scared.”
“I hate him.” Jungkook hissed, pulling his hand away, before he crossed his arms over his chest. “He is angry all the time and I don’t trust him. He growled at you, Hope. Jimin is okay, I guess. It was fun to play the PlayStation with him, but that doesn’t mean I trust him completely.”
The girl sighed at the bunny’s words. That was what she had been afraid of to hear.
“What about you, Hope?” Jin had obviously noticed her mood. “What do you think about them?”
“I – listen, I know that you are no sure about them, and especially not about Taehyung.” Her voice was slightly shaking, as she began to speak again. “But I know that they do have any bad intentions. I just think that Taehyung is scared and worried about Jimin. I want to be honest with you. Taehyung’s arm is healed soon – “
“Good.” Jungkook interrupted her, a slight smile on his face. “That means they will leave again, doesn’t it?”
“Yes, it does.” The girl pulled her hands away and began to fiddle with the hem of her shirt. “But – but I don’t want them to leave again.”
At the end, her voice was nothing more than a whisper, still afraid to say the wrong words.
“What?” The bunny’s eyes went wide when he hear her statement. “What do you mean, Hope? Do you want them to live her with us? This is – ”
“Jungkook.” Jin spoke in a warning voice now. “Let her finish.”
Jungkook looked at his brother for another few seconds, before he nodded and took the girl’s hand again.
“It just doesn’t feel right for to kick them out, when I swore to myself that I would protect any Hybrid with everything I have.” Hope was near to cry now. “We have enough room here, and I really like the both of them, even Taehyung. He is not like that all the time, he talked to me yesterday. He told me about how they fled form those cruel people and how scared he is. I won’t let them stay if you don’t want to. I respect your decisions. I felt like telling you about my concerns.”
She hadn’t noticed the tears that were now sliding down her cheeks. Why did she had to be so emotional about anything? Jungkook had noticed it too, and lifted his arm to carefully whip the we stains away with the sleeves of his shirt.
“To be honest – “ A small smile was playing on Jin’s mouth. “ – I already knew that you won’t want them to leave. Jungkook and I know what they are going through, and we were more than lucky that you found us. I am willing to show them that there is another life for them, so it’s fine with me if they stay with us.”
“Thank you, Jin.” The girl whispered, the tears were still spilling out of her eyes.
She bent over and wrapped her carefully around Jin’s broad shoulders. He had gain more weight lately, so he wasn’t just the thin, tall boy anymore.
Jungkook was still sitting there, eyes flickering between his brother and the girl. Hope could tell that he was having a huge battle inside his head, whether he should agree or stay with his opinion. He sighed, before sinking his head, ears dropping down next to his face.
“Kookie, what about we give them a chance.” The girl let go of Jin and was now sliding over to the bunny. “You don’t have to be best friends with Jimin and Taehyung, but we can try to get along.”
Jungkook’s big brown eyes were looking up at hers. His brown orbs held a lot of sadness, as he carefully nodded his head. Hope smiled widely, before giving his a tight hug from the side.
“But if he growls at you one more time at you, I won’t hesitate to kick his butt.”

All Over Again → Kim Seokjin
Tumblr media
↳  Pairing: Jin/Reader
↳  Word count: 2,203
⁙  Summary: Seokjin has always been in love with you, even if at an early age you had been stricken with memory degradation and memory loss.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
It wasn’t your fault. It was the way you were born, the way you had been destined to be. More than forgetful, more than scrambling around your house wondering where you had left your phone charger. It was forgetting things that just happened. It was forgetting about your friends, the things you loved and the things you wanted to do.
Your memory hadn’t always been like this. You had friends, you had a family, you had hobbies, likes and dislikes, favourite foods and favourite books, but over time things began to fall further and further from your brain. Eventually, a number of things you could remember were how to walk, eat, speak, read, and write.
One thing you always knew was that, no matter what, you seemed to make the people around you sad. You never understood why- you hardly knew anyone. People who came to visit you always had frowned when you asked their names and tears welled up in their eyes when you didn’t know the answers to any of their questions. It was so confusing. Why was everyone so… gloomy?
~
“Seokjin, I know how much you care about her, but… she doesn’t remember you,” your mother commented sadly to the boy standing outside your room with a bouquet of flowers. “She hardly even remembers us now. Her memory is too degraded.”
Seokjin, the boy who had loved you since preschool only smiled warmly in her direction. “That’s okay,” he replied. “I’d like to talk to her anyway if that’s alright.”
“Honey, be my guest, I think she would enjoy some company other than me.”
You turned your head away from your colouring book as the door handle to your room turned and clicked, the door soon opening. The light from the large window cast a bright and nearly blinding light into the nearly completely white room you were in, causing your visitor to squint as he walked in. You watched this new person enter with curiosity, enjoying the blast of colour that followed him in that took the shape of multicoloured flowers.
“Hi there,” he greeted, smiling over at you. “Mind if I sit?”
“Hi,” you say in return, shoving your book and pencil crayons off to one side. “You can sit down if you want. My name’s (Y/N).”
The boy took the padded seat next to your bed, gently placing down the flowers in your lap. “I know.”
“How?” You wonder aloud. “We’ve never met before.”
The boy smiled at you, and you saw something in his eyes that you had somehow seen before, but you couldn’t exactly place where you had. His plump lips were curved upwards in the most… how could you say… calming way, his fingers leaving the bouquet wrappings to the sheets of your bed, running a finger along the fabric. You blushed by only watching his movements.
“I’ve known you for a long time, actually. My name is Seokjin, but you used to call me Jinny. You’ve always been the only one allowed to call me that.”
“Oh.” You looked down at the flowers, smiling at them. “I like these, thank you.”
“You’re welcome. I knew you would like them, they’ve always been your favourite,” he said, his fingers moving back to the flowers, taking one of the yellow petals in between his thumb and forefinger.
“What are they?”
“They’re roses, painted in all the colours you like. Red, orange, yellow, green, blue, and purple,” Jin explains, and you look back at him with a smile.
“I love every colour,” you say proudly, sitting up a bit straighter.
“I know you do.” Jin’s smile faltered slightly. Tilting your head in curiosity, you watched him look down at his wrist, gently pull back his sleeve and look at a watch. The way he delicately did such a simple thing made your heart beat a little faster.
“What’s wrong?” You ask.
“Nothing, don’t worry. Say, what were you drawing?” He asked.
“I was drawing?” You wonder, looking to your left to find you book sitting next to you. “Oh.” You reach out to grab the book, flipping through to see your most recent drawing. “I guess I was drawing this.”
Your eyes widen as you look at the page. You never knew that you drew it, and the person whose face you drew looked familiar. You squinted at the page before holding it upright beside Jin’s face. You looked from him to the drawing, noticing that they looked nearly identical. An oval sculpted face, heart-shaped lips, thin, square eyes, round nose and tousled brown hair.
“Hey, (Y/N), are you okay?” Jin gently grasped the paper and flipped it over when you fully handed it over to him. However, his reaction to seeing what was on the page wasn’t what you expected. Instead of wide, stunned eyes, he just smiled, looking over your face again. “See? You’ve been drawing me. You’ve known me for a long, long time.”
“But how? I don’t remember you.” You say dejectedly. “I-I’m sorry.” For some reason, pain struck your heart. You wanted to remember him, you really did. You felt like there was something there, a feeling like you did really know him, enough to feel the twinge of nervousness and shyness in your chest, to know what it meant despite what was wrong with you. But, no matter how hard you tried, nothing came to your head, and nothing happened.
Jin placed down your book on your bed and raised his hands, noticing that tears were welling up in your eyes. “No, I didn’t mean to make you upset,” he cried. “I just want you to know.”
You sniffle. “Know what?”
“I want you to know that I love you,” he stated, leaning forward in his chair to rest his arms on your bed, placing his cheek against the sheets. “I love you so much, even if you forget about me every time I leave the room.”
Did he love you? Did he get the same feelings in his chest as you do as you’re looking at him right now? Does he find himself drawing you? Does he forget about you, too?
“Jinny,” you say, feeling a bit more at ease when you say his name that way, “I.. I, um…”
“Hmm?” He hummed, waiting patiently for the end of your sentence with a smile.
“I love you too,” you agree with very little thought involved. You know what this was, a deep-seated feeling that even you couldn’t forget. It was love. “Please…”
“What is it? Do you want some ice chips?” He sits up, ready to stand, and you only smile and shake your head, grasping his wrist for good measure.
“Please, don’t go… not ever. I don’t want to forget you.” Tears were now spilling over the rims of your eyes. You knew that if he left the room you would have to meet him all over again. You had done it so many times with your mother until her constant presence finally solidified her in your mind, but it seemed like Jin hadn’t made that kind of progress.
“You won’t forget about me,” he told you, reaching up to swipe a thumb at a stray tear. “You draw my face in your books and you remember my nickname even if I only mention it once. Once you love someone, you never really forget them. Alright?”
“Okay,” you agree, leaning into his touch, his hand now cupping your cheek gently. “Will you stay a little longer, though?”
“Of course I can.”
~ 4 hours later ~
You smiled at your newest masterpiece and placed down your charcoal pencil, holding up your sketchbook and admiring your handiwork.
“(Y/N), don’t you think it’s time you eat your dinner?” Your mother asked as she sat against the wall, returning Jin’s shrug as he could finally move from his pose. She gripped your dinner tray in her hands, it slowly growing cold from the passage of time.
“I only just finished,” you whine. “Can I eat after I put the seal on it?”
“(Y/N),” your mother called scoldingly. “Your charcoal won’t smudge if you leave it for a few minutes, now eat up.”
“You should probably listen to your mom, (Y/N),” Jin chimed as he stood up to stretch. “She can get pretty scary.”
You looked over at your mother, who was looking at Jin with a knowing smirk, but, she said nothing.
“But eating my dinner means that visiting hours are over and you have to go home, right?” You ask innocently.
“Yes, that’s right,” Jin replied cautiously.
“Then I’m never going to eat my dinner!” You declare, placing your sketchbook on the small table beside your bed, promptly crossing your arms and pouting in your mother’s direction.
“(Y/N), come on, Jin can visit tomorrow.”
“But…”
“No buts.”
“Alright, fine.” You sigh dejectedly, nodding in the direction of your mother.
Your mother stands, satisfied at your compliance. She placed the tray on your lap as you sadly watched Jin stand.
He looks down at you with his soft smile, “I’ll come back tomorrow, okay?”
“You promise?”
“Of course, I promise,” he reassures you by nodding and crossing his heart. “Cross my heart and hope to die.” He begins to turn around, but you grab his wrist. “What is it?”
“One more thing.” You tug on his arm gently, and his smile grows wider as he figures out what you want. Before you know it, he’s bent down in front of you and placed a sweet kiss on your lips.
“I love you, (Y/N).”
“I love you, too, Jinny.”
~
Jin sighed as he exited the room, closing the door gently behind him. He knew as he walked down the hallway of the hospital that you’ve already forgotten about him, but he couldn’t bring himself to be depressed or sad about it.
He pulled out his phone to text his friends that he was coming home, a smile still present on his lips.
GROUP CHAT
NJ: Hey, Jin, visiting hours ended like half an hour ago. Are you coming home?
TH: Yeah, we need you to make dinner.
SJ: You guys really need to learn how to cook for yourselves. Yeah, I’m coming home.
JM: How was the hospital? Did she…?
SJ: No, sadly.
 YG: :( We’re sorry
TH: Yeah… we know how much you love her.
NJ: Maybe one day she’ll remember you
SJ: I don’t care about that anymore, I’m not sad about it
JK: Wait, why not? You’re usually so torn up about it once hours are up.
SJ: I don’t know, I just noticed that every time I go to see her, it’s like she’s never seen me, and…
YG: And what?
SJ: And it’s like she falls in love with me all over again, every day. She never gets tired of it, she never gets tired of my face and she never wants me to leave once visitation is over.
TH: Now that’s what I call true love. She’s never freaked out at you?
SJ: No, never. I tell her that she knows me and she’s always a little confused at first but I always see that light in her eyes, I can practically feel the butterflies she gets. I just know that she loves me, even if it’s new to her every time I go in.
NJ: :) that’s the spirit!
YG:  I feel like I could write a million songs right now
TH: Me too :D
HS: That’s so beautiful T_T
JK: You should just pop the question every day to see what she says ;)
JM: It’s good that she has someone like you
Seokjin smiled to himself as he locked his phone. He would visit you every day, watch you fall in love all over again until one day he would finally be so embedded in your memory that you had one less thing to forget. So that he would never have to leave you, so visiting hours were never over.
~ The Next Day ~
“Seokjin, back again, are we?” Your mother asked, a smile on her face as she nursed a cup of coffee, leaning on the wall by the door to your room. “Seems like you’re freeing up your schedule.”
“I’m trying to as much as I can, Ms (L/N),” he says cheerfully, gripping a small gift bag. “Is she awake?”
 “Yep, and pretty energetic, too.”
“Oh, good. So, I can go in?” He asked, smiling at your mother.
“Of course, go on.”
The door made a small click once again as Jin entered the room, his smile becoming a grin as you looked over at him from your sketchbook.
“Hi there,” he greeted, smiling over at you. “Mind if I sit?”
“Hi,” you say in return, shoving your book and pencil crayons off to one side with a giant smile. “You’re more than welcome to sit down. My name’s (Y/N).”
Seokjin took toward the padded seat next to your bed, gently placing down the gift bag in his lap, deciding to present it to you before he left at the end of visitation. “I know.”
“You do?”
All over again.
Tumblr media
Students bustle about the lawn, heading in different directions towards the booths that line the footpath. You’ve spent most of your day manning the track and field booth, handing out flyers to freshmen. Up until ten minutes ago, it wasn’t too bad. But as morning classes end, the area starts to fill up with the second years and above, probably with the excitement of having freshmen around. You try your best not to get pushed around as you scan the area for your boyfriend.
“He’s all the way on the other side.” Sunhee says, having observed you for a while. “You know, where all the other frats are.”
“Oh.” You sigh. “Do you think I could slip away for a while? You have enough people here.”
Sunhee looks around and thinks about it. Along with the two of you, other members are present as well, making sure all areas of the booth are covered. “But I wanna come with.” She pouts, knowing full well she can’t leave the booth, being in charge for today’s event.
“Please?”
“Ugh. Fine. But don’t be long.” She gives in, handing you a stack of flyers. “Pass these out while you’re there.”
“Yes ma’am.”
“I’m coming with!” Hana chimes in, standing from where she was seated on the grass. She grabs you by the wrist and makes a run for it before Sunhee can object and you slow down to a stop when you’re far enough, giggling as you catch your breath.
You scan the area again, keeping a lookout for familiar faces. Hana shakes her head. “You look like a kid about to meet her favourite rockstar at a concert.”
“Shut up. I miss him.” You mutter, shoving flyers carelessly to people as you pass them by.
“You saw each other this morning. And last night.” She adds. You pause and look at her from the corner of your eye. “I heard you.”
“You did?” She waves her hand, dismissing the apology that’s about to come out of your mouth. “I’m so sorry. We’ll keep it down next time.”
“There’s no going back.” She sighs. “You’re whipped.”
“Am not.”
“Right.” She nodded, a smirk on her face.
“Just because I miss him all the time doesn’t mean I’m whipped.” You defend yourself, though you realise how that doesn’t help your case.
“Alright, alright.” She resigns. She takes on a more serious tone right after. “Listen, I’ve been meaning to talk to you about something.”
“Sounds serious. What is it?” When you stop in your tracks, she urges you to carry on walking, checking her surroundings before speaking.
“So I’ve been hearing lots of rumours recently...something about a faculty member involved with drugs.”
“What?” You stop again and she pulls you along.
“I’m not sure who started the rumour or how true it is.” She looks at the ground as she speaks. “But I thought you’d wanna know. You know, cause…”
“Jungkook.”
“Yeah.” She gives you a sympathetic smile. “I mean, there’s a chance it could be false.”
“Could be.” You get lost in your thoughts. If the rumour is true, why would Jungkook risk dealing with a staff member?
“Anyway,” Hana flings her arm over your shoulder. “Let’s just find him so you can exchange saliva and then we can get back to the booth before the other members realise we’re gone.” You pinch her side at the subtle remark she thought you would miss.
Soon you reach the area where guys and girls are on separate sides, making the most noise to attract future pledges. You try to ignore the obnoxious yelling, walking past the booths until you find the one with faces you recognise. A big grin appears on your face when you see him.
You squeeze past groups of people in your way to get to him. He stands by his booth with a couple of girls from Eta Iota. They laugh at whatever he says and he revels in the attention he’s getting, as apparent from his big smile and creased eyes. But their conversation is cut short when he looks up and notices you, body suddenly on autopilot as he excuses himself and walks away from the girls, over to you instead.
He engulfs you in a big hug. You ignore looks from the girls as they disperse. “I was just walking around. Thought I would drop by your booth.”
“Huh.” Hana interjects. “She practically begged to be able to leave so she could come see you.”
“Shut up.” She bolts off before you can try and reach for her.
Jungkook lifts your chin towards him and presses his lips onto yours in a slow, gentle kiss. The fabric of his shirt bunches up in your fists. He tastes so sweet. You just can’t get enough of each other. You almost lose yourself in the kiss till the sound of someone clearing their throat brings you back.
“Keep it PG guys, we’re still on campus.” Jimin says, arms folded with a look of disgust on his face.
Jungkook’s lips glisten with saliva and you lick your own lips at the sight of it. So pretty and tempting. But heat creeps up your cheeks when you remember where you’re in the middle of an event with hundreds of students around you.
“Hey Jimin.” You greet him properly when you finally remove yourself from Jungkook. His hand remains on your waist. But Jimin’s eyes are no longer on you. A group of girls huddled around the sorority booth behind you has his attention for now.
“Did you come all the way here just for me?” You turn your attention back to Jungkook. Of course you did and he knows it.
“No.” You avoid his eyes. “I was just walking by and I saw you.”
“What a coincidence then.” He taps the tip of your nose and your lips form a tiny pout.
“Hey,” Hana appears next to you again, holding a little gift bag with a cookie inside and the Eta Iota logo plastered in the middle. “Maybe we should pledge. They seem kinda cool.”
Jungkook snorts, earning questioning looks from the two of you. “What? You guys aren’t really the sorority type.”
“What’s that supposed to mean?” You ask.
“Well you know,” he fidgets. “Sororities do a lot socialising. And fun things. Not that you guys aren’t fun or anything. You are⎯ But you’re different⎯ You’re cool⎯”
“Smooth.” Jimin comments. “Anyway, I fully support this. If you join them, we'll get to spend more time together. We’re close with Etas."
"Oh. I'm out then." Hana says with a playful smile and Jungkook notes the way Jimin’s falter.
“In case you change your mind, next week is rush week. So we’ll probably be hosting some parties.” Jimin says. “You guys should come. Get a feel of the greek life.”
Jungkook’s phone vibrates just then and he pulls away from you after checking the screen. “I gotta take this.” He says, walking some steps away.
“Speaking of which, are you guys coming tonight?” Jimin asks, turning your attention back to him.
“For what?”
“Jungkook didn’t tell you?”
You look over at him, back turned to you. “Nope. You guys having a party tonight?”
Jimin calls out to Taehyung. He jogs over from where he’s standing and looks as happy to see you as he always is. “Hello!” He hugs you first and nods towards Hana, then goes back to Jimin’s side. “What’s up?”
“You didn’t invite them for tonight?”
“Oh of course you guys are invited!” He grins. “It’s my birthday party. We’re gonna head to the club that just opened downtown and have some drinks. Join us!”
“Your birthday?” You squint. “Wasn’t your birthday four months ago?”
“Yeah but I didn’t get to celebrate it with you guys.” He shrugs. “Come out and have fun with us okay?”
“Sure.”
Taehyung beams, the excitement on his face apparent. Jungkook comes back shoving his phone away quickly. With a hand on your elbow, he pulls you aside. “I gotta go, I’ll call you later okay?” He pinches your cheek when you frown.
“You’re leaving?”
“There’s something I gotta take care of.” He grabs his bag, stored under the table at their booth. Surely, he isn’t going to work? You think it’s better if you don’t ask. “Love you.” He says, pressing his lips to your forehead before going on his way.
“Where the hell are you going?” Jimin yells, when he realises this.
Jungkook turns, walking backwards with a smile on his face. “Something came up, sorry!” His apology gets lost among the sea of people he disappears into, and you only manage to catch a glimpse of him running across the lawn as he goes. Jimin groans, walking off to complain to the others.
“Is Jungkook coming tonight?” You ask Taehyung, walking back to him.
“Dunno. He knows about it. Not sure if he’d come though.” Taehyung shrugs, then walks back to his booth as he waves to the two of you. “See you later!”
“See you.” You say. Your shoulders slump as you let out a sigh. When you turn to Hana, she gives you a comforting smile and hooks her arm over your shoulder again, offering you her cookie.
𝄖𝄖
You: you coming to celebrate Tae’s birthday tonight?
Jungkook: nah.
You: I’ll be there
You: don’t you wanna see me :(
Jungkook: i’ll pick you up after?
You: [IMG_0394.jpg]
Jungkook: what the fuck
Jungkook: is that what you’re wearing
You: idk how to act in this dress. You better be there to make sure I behave.
Jungkook: are you doing this on purpose
You: yes
You: so i’ll see you there?
Your last message was sent five hours ago. Read, yet not replied. Sitting in the car you’re sharing with Jimin and the others, you check the chat once again just in case. “Bet you two shots of tequila he won’t show up,” Jimin whispers, leaning in close. You narrow your eyes at him. Hana called shotgun and is in the passenger’s seat while Taehyung drives. Unfortunately, you’re stuck at the back, in the middle seat no less because the middle seat makes me dizzy, said Jimin back at the house.
“You trying to get drunk quick huh?”
“No, I’m trying to get you drunk.”
“He’ll be there.” The confidence you attempt to display only has half its effect as Jimin rolls his eyes and looks away.
Your attention turns back to your screen, waiting till the screen goes black. Turning to your left, where Hoseok is, you realise he’s already staring. You only manage a small, pressed smile before looking elsewhere, wondering if he had seen your messages too.
𝄖𝄖
“Has he said anything yet?” Suga asks directly into Jungkook’s ear.
Jungkook maintains his composure. Judging by the smile on Mr. Kim’s face, it’s not so bad. At least he hopes so. “Well, he hasn’t said anything bad.” They exchange glances then turn back to their boss, sitting in the VIP section of the club on the second floor, designed for a little privacy or whatever the booths and translucent curtains can offer.
They stand by the glass barrier which overlooks the dancefloor. It’s a good spot which allows them to keep an eye on the club while staying at a distance. Much less people up here too, which means more room to breathe. Suga rests his hands on the railing, looking down at the mass of people below.
Jungkook taps his side urgently. Kim is getting ready to leave, gathering up his things and shaking the hands of his guests. A couple of ladies show them the way, down the stairs and out the back exit while their boss stays behind. Hands behind his back, he walks towards them with a satisfied smile on his face.
“Pretty good.” He says. Jungkook and Suga nod respectfully.
“The crowd should start to pick up soon.”
“Oh I bet.” Kim chuckles. “If things go well, you can start bringing in the drugs earlier than planned.”
He surveys the area for a while, walking to one end of the parapet and back to them. The wheels in his head seem to be turning but he doesn’t say much. Only a smile, before giving a rough pat on their shoulders. “I’ll be in touch.” His men walk in front as he follows along down the stairs and out the same exit as the others earlier.
“I think that went well.” Suga grins and Jungkook snorts at the glee on his face.
“You really got me all worried when you called.” Jungkook sighs, watching waiters and waitresses clear the empty booth. He joins Suga, resting his forearm on the barrier, eyes roaming the place. “We’re clear now. He probably won’t be back anytime soon. He rarely does spot-checks in person.”
“Didn’t you see the look on his face?” Suga wets his bottom lip. “I think he’s planning something.”
“Like what?”
“I don’t know but be ready for anything.” His words are unsettling but Jungkook leaves it for now. Suga ruffles the back of Jungkook’s head like he does to a kid. “You can go now. I’ll handle things tonight.”
With a twist of his face Jungkook shakes his head. “I’ll stay for a while.”
From the corner of his eye, Jungkook sees the slight surprise on Suga’s face. Usually, he’d jump at the chance to clock off early. Suga wonders if he’s finally going back to the old him. That is, until something, or someone, catches his eye.
“Oh. I see why you wanna stay.”
“Hm?”
He nods in the direction of the bar. A shimmery sky blue dress catches his eye. One that Jungkook recognises.
𝄖𝄖
“Oh this is nice,” your words insincere, “and loud.”
“It’s a club.” Jimin says, looking at you unbelievably. It’s been a while since you last stepped foot in one. Your hand is in his as he makes sure you don’t get separated from the group. Hana grabs on to your elbow as she follows behind.
Finally reaching the bar, you find an empty spot, pulling Hana along with you. Among the crowd, you spot some people you know and some you don't; all of them friends of Taehyung. He then rushes over and wraps his arms around the three of you. “Just have fun tonight guys! Hoseok’s the designated driver so don’t be shy, drink up!!” He cheers, running back to where his other friends are, already downing some shots.
“What’re you having?” Jimin asks.
“Ooh, I’ll have⎯”
“Not you.” He tilts his head to the side. “You.”
You look behind you. Hana stares back blankly but you notice the tiny smile on her lips. She’s never been one to take interest in men like Jimin. He’s much too loud for her.
“Oh my god.” You laugh. “I’ll stay out of this.” You remove yourself from your spot and switch places with Hana. She gladly entertains Jimin, whispering to you that it’s only for tonight.
You scan the shelves of bottles on display, hundreds of them, not making your choice any easier. You haven’t been to a club in a long time and the only way you would last the night in this atmosphere is if you had some alcohol in you.
Someone slips in next to you, body brushing against yours as they squeeze between others. When a hand appears on your lower back however, you tense up. “What’s a pretty girl like you doing all alone on a Friday night?” He says. Your grip his arm, wanting to push him away, until you spare him a glance.
Mirroring the silly smile on his face, you shove his hand away anyway. “I’m not alone, I’m with my friends.” You point your thumb in the direction of the others behind you.
“You look awfully lonely standing here while your friends are out there.” He gives you a once-over. “How about I keep you company?”
“No thanks.”
“Wanna go somewhere else? Somewhere with more privacy?”
“I don’t think my boyfriend would like that.”
He looks away to fight a smile forming. “What he doesn’t know won’t hurt him.”
“Tempting...” With his back against the bar, he makes room for you between his legs and pulls you in. Your hands rest on his arm while he holds you by the waist. “You do look like the type I’d go for.” He’s distracted by the choice of lip gloss you have on, which seems to have a magnetic effect on his lips.
“Wow, you actually showed up.” Jimin hits his shoulder a little too hard and he glares at Jimin for ruining the moment yet again. “I guess I’ll have those two shots now.” He shrugs.
“As if you weren’t going to have them anyway.” You roll your eyes as you watch him watch the bartender fix them up. He downs them in seconds, wincing as it burns but enjoying it nonetheless.
“If you hadn’t shown up, she would’ve taken the shots.” Jimin lifts the empty glass in his hand as a toast.
“Aw, that would’ve been fun.” Hana snickers. She turns to you. “I haven’t seen you drunk in a while. She’s a real gem when she’s drunk.” She directs the last part to Jungkook.
“Oh I’ve had the pleasure of meeting that special lady.” Jungkook winks.
“Hey, no judging.”
Hana raises her hands in surrender but she’s interrupted by Jimin’s hands snaking around her waist. You watch as they get into a squabble. The others have dispersed, most of them on the dance floor, Taehyung in the middle of it all. Watching him gets you stirred and you drag Jungkook with you through the dancing bodies.
You find a spot in the centre and start swaying your hips against Jungkook. He keeps his hands on you as if to make sure every other person there knows you’re taken. With your back pressed against him, he leans down and captures your lips, tongue fighting for dominance as your hips grind against him. He has half a mind to take you right here in the middle of the floor.
You turn abruptly to face him, disrupting his fantasy. “I know that look.” You say into his ear. “You pervert.” Those sultry eyes of his drops to your chest, openly ogling at your cleavage. Giggling, you push his face to the side and he laughs, kissing you again. You spend close to an hour dancing, or actually, grinding against him.
I’m glad you’re here.” You say, back at the bar, thirsty from all the dancing. Your hands run up his chest. “I missed you.”
Jungkook shakes his head. “I’ve spent every day with you in the past week. Every night too.” He winks and you play with his collar. “You still miss me?” You nod and he holds you closer, bringing his lips to your neck where it tickles and your shoulders raise as a reflex.
“Well, look who’s here.”
It’s a voice you recognise. And one you weren’t expecting but also glad to hear. Jungkook lifts his head up from you. Suga nods in your direction, looking at Jungkook for just a second, then back to you.
“Hi.” You say. “You’re here too?” You look at Jungkook but his face is impossible to read. He doesn’t seem surprised nor does he look angry. He must have been with Suga before this.
Suga ignores your question but tells Jungkook he’s needed somewhere. “They’re asking for you.” Is all he says and you feel Jungkook’s chest rise and fall in a sigh under your touch.
“Be right back.” He says to you regretfully, kissing your cheek. Jungkook grabs Suga by the arm as he moves to take the place next to you. They share an awkward look before he says, “Keep an eye on her for me.”
“I’d be happy to.” He smiles playfully.
Jungkook slides between bodies till he disappears in the crowd. With an elbow resting on the bar, there’s a hint of amusement in the way Suga looks at you.
“What?” You ask.
“Nothing. I just didn’t think you’d be the clubbing type.”
You’re not offended, but the way he smiles makes you feel like you should be. The judgement that’s apparent on his face challenges you to prove him wrong. Even though of course, he’s right. He calls the bartender over and orders himself a vodka. The bartender’s hands get busy but she keeps her attention on you. “And for the pretty lady?” She asks.
“Oh my bad. Can I get you anything?” Suga asks. “We have iced tea.”
You ignore him and order a shot of tequila, much to his surprise. “Coming right up.” The bartender says, as she fixes up the drink. Suga watches as you down a single shot and immediately orders another.
“Is that all you’re having?” You nod to the vodka in front of him. You’re reaching for some cash in your purse when he stops you.
“It’s on the house.” He says, downing his drink. “And yes, I’m not trying to get drunk tonight. I have work to do.”
“On the house? Work?” Your face scrunches up. “You work here?”
“Work here?” Now he looks confused and slightly offended. “You don’t know? Jungkook and I run this place.”
It hits you like a slap in the face and you wish the alcohol would start to kick in already so you wouldn’t just be staring at him in surprise. “I definitely did not know that.”
“Oh. I’m sure there's a reason he didn’t tell you.”
Though his face remains void of any emotion, you can’t ignore the bitterness in his tone. You hesitate before asking. “You don’t like me very much, do you?”
“What makes you say that?” He looks elsewhere, suddenly finding interest in the people on the dance floor.
You think over your choice of words carefully. Getting close to Suga has been your game play from the start. But with Jungkook always keeping you at a distance from him, it set you back. Once Suga trusts you, it’ll only get easier from there. Since Jungkook won’t be letting you into the world of his secret life anytime soon, the only way in is through someone he trusts.
“We could be good friends you know.” You smile.
He waits for you to convince him, a doubtful look on his face. “Really? What could we possibly have in common?”
“Have a drink with me and maybe you’ll find out.”
You hold out a drink in front of him. Your cheerful demeanour makes it hard for him to say no, even though he thinks it might be the alcohol getting to you. Suga lets out an exasperated breath, and takes the glass from you.
𝄖𝄖
Jungkook groans, kicking the door shut behind him. He tosses the book in his hand on the table, knocking over a bunch of stationery. What he thought was going to be a short call, ended up being a trip back down to the HQ just to double check the inventory.
He’s just about to let his butt touch the seat when there’s a knock on the door. “Please don’t come in.” He begs.
It opens and he sighs. The music travels inside now that the door’s open and he massages the front of his head, feeling a headache coming in. “Hey. Someone wants to speak to the manager.” Suga says casually.
“What? Why?” Jungkook shakes his head and turns to face him. “You talk to them then, you’re the manager too.”
“No, she wants the other manager.”
Jungkook frowns. Suga keeps the door open with his foot and reaches over to the side. Jungkook watches as he struggles with the other person. They resist and pull away but Suga easily gains control. Jungkook sighs, preparing himself for what’s to come.
“Stop! I said, I only wanna speak to the other⎯” You stand by the door leaning against Suga while you try to maintain your balance. Your eyes go wide when you see Jungkook and he looks back at you, perplexed.
“The other manager.” Suga finishes your sentence.
“Oh hi.” You fix your hair and dress before making your way towards Jungkook, stumbling a few times until he meets you halfway.
“Um. Hi.” Jungkook says.
“She’s had a few drinks.” Suga informs him.
“A few?!” Jungkook guides you to his desk.
“Don’t look at me. It was her idea.” Yoongi raises his hands in a surrender and slowly backs off, closing the door before he leaves.
“Shh! I have a complaint!” You fail to stand on your own, needing Jungkook’s hands on your arms to keep you upright. He backs up, sitting on the edge of his desk, holding on to you while you rest your entire weight on him.
“Do you now?” He lets you lean on his chest. When you lift your head, he pushes away the stray hair. “What is it?”
“I’m upset! You left me.”
He laughs quietly. “I’m sorry. I had to go check on something.”
“And why didn’t you tell me about this club?” You say in a tiny voice, pouting. “Is it because I’m not cool enough? Cause that’s what the other manager thinks...”
“Suga?” Jungkook asks.
“Yeah him.” Your tired eyes focus on something behind him while you mumble, face a little swollen. “We’re friends now, you know?”
“That’s nice. But don’t listen to him okay? You are cool. The coolest girlfriend ever.” Jungkook kisses your forehead and you break into a giddy smile.
“Really?” He nods. “Then why didn’t you tell me about this club?”
“Because I didn’t know what you would think about it. What if you hated it?”
“Jeon Jungkook.” You stand up straight. Or try to, at least, holding on to his arms before your hands cup his face. “I would never. I will always support you. You got that?”
He chuckles, holding you tight against him. “You’re adorable.”
“Also!” You push away. Your eyes roam over his body and you drag your hand down his front. “It’s kinda sexy...you being a manager.”
“There she is.” Jungkook laughs, being reminded of the Valentine’s situation. “I knew you were in there somewhere.”
“She missed you.”
“Aw, I miss her too.” His hand finds the back of your neck to guide your lips onto his. The shaky sigh that comes from you as he grabs a fistful of your hair to tug on makes him smile. You hike your leg up on his thigh, trying to get whatever friction you can get. The tight dress makes it hard for him to slip his hand under, so he grabs your thigh instead, digging into your skin. “This damn dress.” He mutters, lips on yours.
“You don’t like it?” You ask innocently. “Maybe I should take it off⎯”
The door slams open and Suga comes back inside. You separate from Jungkook with a gasp but then groan when you realise it’s only him. It’s like the two of you are invisible as he moves around the table to collect his things from one of the drawers. “What?” He stops when he notices your stares.
“Do you mind?” Jungkook asks.
“Yes actually I do.” His eyebrows raise. “This is a shared table. I don’t want your nasty fluids all over.” He gathers his belongings, and puts on his jacket. Glancing at Jungkook, he nods to the door, “Come on, let’s go. The guys can handle things tonight.”
Jungkook turns to you. “I’ll send you home okay?”
“No! I wanna go with you.” You whine, hanging on to his neck for dear life.
“Y/N,” he tries to reason, prying your hand off him. You don’t budge, only clinging on to him tighter. “Fine but. We’re going to Suga’s apartment. Are you sure you wanna come?”
“Yes.” You say, muffled.
“Okay then. Let’s go tell the others you’ll be with me.”
𝄖𝄖
The unfamiliar setting doesn’t bother you much, thanks to the alcohol. Jungkook comes out of the shower to find you on the floor, between the couch and the coffee table, laughing at something your new best friend is saying. He sighs however, looking at the drink in your hand. He jumps over the back of the couch and picks it out of your hand.
“Hey!” You frown. “Give it back! We’re playing never have I ever.”
“Y/N, he’s not even drinking.” Jungkook speaks to you gently, hooking his hand under your arm to pull you up on the couch. “He’s just messing with you.”
You turn to Suga for confirmation. That’s probably why his glass has been full since the start. “Maybe he just has never ever all the never have I evers.”
“Stop it.” Jungkook holds back a laugh as he warns Suga who’s laughing quietly, finally taking a sip of his drink. He helps you up and you get comfortable next to him on the couch. He had left you with Suga and a glass of water to sober up, but came back to the glass still full and an opened bottle of whiskey on the table.
“You smell nice.” You mumble, rubbing your head against him like a cat. “Gimme kiss.”
He complies, leaning down for chaste kisses that has you breaking into giggles. But it’s not enough. You yank him by the neck and let yourself fall back onto the couch. With a hand on the cushion behind you, he pulls away and the sticky sound of your lips separating makes Suga wince. “What are you doing?” He mutters.
“Kissing.”
“Okay. Can we kiss inside?” Jungkook glances in Suga’s direction and you tilt your head back. His hands slide down your side to your hips, making sure your dress doesn’t ride up any further.
Suga smiles, sipping on his drink. “Just pretend I’m not here.”
You laugh but Jungkook sits back up, pulling you along with him. “I think I need a drink too.” He sighs, reaching for your glass of whiskey still sitting on the table.
“What’s wrong?” You cup his head and speak to him like he’s a child. “Is everything okay?”
“It’s been a long night.”
“Aw.” You embrace him, giving him soft pats. “I’m sorry Kookie.”
“Kookie.” Suga repeats, pressing his lips into a thin smile. Jungkook drops his face into his hand and groans.  He can’t even be mad at you, not with how you’re looking at him lovingly with soft, glossy eyes and a tender smile.
“Hey Suga,” you look around the place, suddenly curious as the paint peeling off the walls distracts you. “Why is your place so...ugly.”
“See?” Jungkook snickers, licking his lips after a sip of the whiskey. “I’ve been telling you to at least get the walls fixed or something.”
“Look, why does it matter?” Suga sighs. “I’m only here to sleep, shower and sometimes eat. I’d rather save my money for something else.”
“Are you rich?” You ask, leaning your head against Jungkook’s arm. “Can you buy me a pony?”
Suga furrows his brows then glances at Jungkook. “Why would I buy you a pony?”
“Why not?” You say in a soft voice. “I’ve always wanted one. If you’re a real friend you’d get me a pony…”
Jungkook breaks into a laugh, shaking his head as he squeezes you, kissing the top of your head. “Sorry. She talks a lot when she’s drunk. She’s not normally like this though.”
“It’s cute.” Suga shrugs, looking at you.
“The last time you were drunk you wanted a navel piercing.” Jungkook says to you. “The next day you almost cried when I said I’d bring you to the piercing shop to get one.”
Jungkook sips more of the vodka. You think about what he said for a second. “I know...I actually have been thinking of getting nipple piercings instead.”
Jungkook chokes on his drink, coughing and clearing his throat as Suga whistles at your confession. You look at them confused. “Okay.” Jungkook sets the glass down and stands. “You’re done. It’s time for bed.”
“Bed? Oh, bed.” You wink dramatically, with a light tone to your voice. Suga shakes his head, feeling somewhat endeared by you. You are adorable, he'll give you that. He kinda prefers you drunk than sober though. Before you leave, you turn to him. “You’re not joining us?”
“What?” Jungkook hisses. “Of course he’s not joining us.”
“Are you inviting me for a three⎯”
“You wish.” Jungkook spits out, lifting you over his shoulder. Suga sighs, swinging his legs over the side of the armchair, muttering a soft “kinda do wish though” under his breath.
𝄖𝄖
The bed you’re sleeping on tonight isn’t any bigger than yours, but it is older and squeakier. It’s in a guest room which Jungkook has spent many nights in, although he prefers the couch. After a quick shower, Jungkook lets you wear one of his spare tees for you to go to bed in. The shower seemed to have calmed you down a little, though he can tell you’re still out of it. He lets you snuggle up in his arms.
“You’re cute when you’re drunk,” Jungkook says, patting your head. “But you really shouldn’t drink so much. I just know you’re gonna regret it tomorrow.”
“I just wanted Suga to like me.” You pout. “I thought it would help us bond.”
Jungkook chuckles. “He does like you. I know it.”
“Really?” You blink up at him.
“Yes baby.” Jungkook smiles reassuringly. “You did good.”
You giggle, very obviously proud of yourself. You wish to talk more, but your eyelids feel so heavy. Jungkook notices this and kisses you on the forehead while his hand runs up and down your back.
“You’re not gonna remember any of the shit you said tonight, are you?”
“Probably not.” You hum, “but I remember that I love you.”
“I love you too.”
You giggle and let out a sigh after a while. He thinks you’ve fallen asleep until you speak again. “My boyfriend would be very sad if he knew I said I love you to someone else.”
“He’ll be okay.”
“Will he?” Your voice goes soft. You clutch his shirt a little tighter, burying your face into him. “I hope so…”
Jungkook frowns. He figured you were messing around, but it seems like the alcohol and sleep has you sleep talking. “What do you mean?”
“Lots of trouble...lots..drugs.” Jungkook stiffens, feeling his heart leap in his chest. “...and like...the detective...mess.”
He remains silent for a while. It’s not like he thought you were unaware of it all. But what were you saying about a⎯ “Detective?”
“What detective?” You mumble, slowly drifting away.
Jungkook shakes his head and lets out a breath. “Must be the alcohol. Get some sleep, baby.” Stroking your head, he kisses you goodnight. He tries to sleep himself but he finds it difficult, mind going back to what you said. He reaches under his pillow, careful not to wake you, sleeping on his arm.
Jungkook: i think we have a problem.
𝄖𝄖
“Everything sucks when you have a hangover.” You groan, trying not to drool against the counter. Hana replaces the cold coffee in your cup with a fresh batch. She transfers a blueberry muffin from the glass display onto a plate and slides it over to you.
“Ugh.” You wince, lifting your head off the table from the sound.
“I told you it was a bad idea.” Hana says, wiping the counter. Thankfully, you don’t have a shift today. “Was it worth it though?”
“I think he trusts me now, kinda.” You take a small bite of the muffin. “He said bye to me when we left his apartment this morning.”
Hana gives you a displeased look. “What?”
“The point is that he stayed with me the entire night last night, let me stay over at his place and Jungkook isn’t trying to keep me away from him.”
“Okay so,” she gestures, “now what?”
“Now...we wait.” You take a sip of the coffee in front of you.
Hana eyes you down curiously. She steps away to attend to a customer, giving you some time to think. When she comes back, she leans against the other side of the counter and presses her lips together. “I don’t like that look on your face. You’ve thought of something.”
You check your surroundings. The usual customers are around, scattered across the cafe, absorbed in their own work. You speak softly. “I think I’m gonna try and join his crew.”
“Are you crazy?” Hana snaps at you. She keeps her voice hushed. “Y/N, these are dangerous people.”
“I know but Jungkook will be there to protect me.” You say it, but you don’t even believe it yourself. Sure, Jungkook’s there. And he would protect you, but to what extent can he do that?
“No. You’re not doing this.”
“Okay wait.” You breathe out, rubbing your aching temples. “Okay how about this, I’ll see if they’ll let me work at the club. As a bartender or something.”
“Dude no. You already have a bartending job.” She gestures around her. “Here.”
“Hana you’re making this difficult for me.”
“Me?!” She gasps. “You’re the one joining a syndicate when you’re supposed to be getting your boyfriend out of it.”
“This is how I’ll get him out!”
“How?” She folds her arms. “Tell me. How will joining them help you get Jungkook out?”
“Um…” You bite your lip and answer in a soft voice. “I haven’t thought of that yet.”
She shakes her head. You hate it when she does that. You sit quietly and sulk, a frown apparent on your face. “You’re getting yourself into trouble.”
“We all know Jungkook’s very sensitive when it comes to this. Maybe if I’m part of his circle, he’ll get more comfortable talking to me about it.” You convince yourself as you’re saying it. “And then it’ll be easier to convince him to leave.”
Hana is silent, just watching you. She leans on her forearms against the counter, moving in closer to you. “I don’t know much about these kinds of groups but, I don’t think it’s that easy. You can’t just leave as an when you want to. Don’t bite off more than you can chew.”
You let her words sink in as she goes back to work. You have nothing to say because she’s probably right, it’s not going to be as easy as you make it out to be. There are many other factors to consider. It’s not a solid plan, but you stand by it, thinking it might be worth a shot once you figure things out. You just don’t know where to start.
An alarm goes off on your phone and your jump in your seat. You’d set one as a reminder to head to the campus library. The sound worsens your already throbbing head while you pack your things and take the last few bites of your muffin. You follow up with the coffee and groan softly, feeling your tummy protest. A small burp follows.
“Excuse me.” You say, glancing at the man standing nearby, waiting for his drink.
He smiles back and the first thing you notice are his dimples. “Hangover?” He asks.
“Yeah. Is it that obvious?”
“Not to be rude but,” he leans in closer to whisper, “you look like crap.” He winks after, so you know he’s kidding.
“You’re lucky I’m not on my shift today, otherwise you’d be getting something else with that coffee.” He raises a brow at your weak attack and you close your eyes, sighing. “Sorry. That was meant to be intimidating but...it sounded better in my head.”
“I get it.” He nods, smiling. “Hangover.”
“Right.” You stand from your seat and sling your backpack over your shoulder. Hana comes over and places the stranger’s coffee on the counter top before turning her attention to you. “I’m gonna go.” You say to her and she nods with a smile before going back to work.
“And I’ll see you around Mr….” You tilt your head slightly, focusing on the name scribbled on his cup. “Namjoon.”
He nods again with an amused smile as he watches you walk swiftly out the door.
𝄖𝄖
You check the time on your phone and slot the book in your hand back in its place. You’ve lost track of time in the Fiction section and Jungkook will be coming to get you in an hour. You speed walk over to the References section and start scanning for a specific book. The lack of sudden, loud noises in the library is pure bliss to you. You had taken an Aspirin a while back, still waiting for its effects to kick in.
“Y/N.”
You gasp a little too loudly and jump at the sudden intrusion of your space. Hoseok holds his hands out before him to show he means no harm. “What are you doing?” You hiss. “You scared me.”
“Sorry.” He scratches the back of his head. “What a coincidence, running into you here.”
A towel hangs over one shoulder and a duffel bag on the other. He’s dressed in jogger pants and a basketball tee. “Is it a coincidence?” You raise a brow, eyeing his outfit.
“Okay, I kinda just wanted to talk to you about something.” He admits. He recognised you from across the library where he was printing some documents.
“Is it about Jungkook again?” You ask.
“Kinda.” He shrugs. “I don’t know if you’ve heard but⎯”
“Something about a staff member?” You cut him off and watch his face twist.
“You knew?”
“I’ve heard.”
“And you’re not worried? Why would he do something so stupid?”
You tense up over his words and he notices this with the way your body changes.  “He’s not stupid. Okay? And it might not even be him. The rumour might not even be true,”
“How would you know?”
“I don’t. And neither do you. We don’t know anything.” You roll your eyes and turn to walk away, having had enough of him. He grabs your wrist to stop you.
“You’re not gonna do anything?” He asks, making you even more annoyed.
“Hoseok, what are you doing about it?”
He watches you silently.
“Exactly. I said I’ll handle it so let me handle it.” You say. “Besides, my plan is working already.” That’s a lie considering you don’t have much of that plan.
“What plan? Getting drunk and flirting with his drug pusher friend?”
Does he mean Suga? You’re livid. Is he actually judging you for what happened the night before? Hoseok senses the change in your demeanour yet again. But it’s too late to take it back. His eyes soften though it doesn’t do much to calm you down. “Are we done here?”
You turn to leave and he calls for you once again. This time you only stand with your back to him. “I’m sorry. I didn’t mean that. I’m really worried. For Jungkook...for you.”
“Me?” You turn back around. “You don’t have to worry about me. Jungkook would never let anything happen to me.”
The corners of his mouth twitch a little. “Fine. But I haven’t been able to reach my friend. I’m starting to think they got to him. I don’t even know if he’s still alive.”
“Don’t say that. I’m sure he’s fine.” You say softly, feeling sympathetic towards him. He must be really worried. “Why don’t you call his office or something.”
“I can’t because I’m not supposed to know about this investigation in the first place, remember?” Hoseok sighs, running his hand through his hair. “Look, just be careful okay? And let me know if you need anything.”
You nod. “I gotta go.”
He doesn’t stop you this time and you rush out of there without the book you came here for. You’d come back tomorrow perhaps. Just as you reach the exit, you hear a whisper of your name. Give it up Hoseok! You think to yourself. You pick up speed and consider running off. That is until a hand slaps onto your shoulder and tugs on it.
“Slow down.” Sunhee whispers. She notices the look of trouble on your face. “Calm down. It’s just me. Not Hoseok.”
Of course she would know. “You saw us?”
“Yeah. I saw you, Hoseok, and the tension between you two.” She looks back and Hoseok’s no longer there. “So what was that all about?”
“I don’t know.” You shrug, feigning ignorance. “He’s kinda weird.”
She narrows her eyes at you but doesn’t push you any further. You ask for her company, just in case he comes back, knowing he’d never talk about anything in front of someone else.  As you walk around campus, you realise that almost everyone you come across along the way says hi to Sunhee. She really does know a lot of people. It’s no wonder she knows everyone’s business before they even know it themselves.
A guy dressed in a black tee and jeans walks in your direction and you make a bet with yourself that he’d know Sunhee too. He gets closer and you smile to yourself as he nods to Sunhee, greeting her. But then he greets you too. “Hey Sunhee. Y/N.”
“Oh. Hi.” Your reply comes late. It took you a while to register that he had just said your name. But you don’t know him. “Who was that?” You ask Sunhee.
“That guy? That’s Jae.” She says. You turn and watch his back as he walks down the hallway.
“I don’t think I know him.” You try to remember if you may have been introduced to each other before. “How does he know my name?”
“Pretty sure anyone who knows Jungkook would know your name.”
“Oh so he’s friends with Jungkook?”
“You could say that.” She presses her lips together in a thin smile.
“Sunhee…”
You slow down. “Fine. Everyone knows Jae gets his supplies from Jungkook.”
“Oh. It’s that kind of friendship…”
Sunhee leans in close, her wide eyes staring right at yours. “Rumour has it, he saw Jungkook selling some drugs to a faculty member.”
Your heart leaps in your chest at the thought of it being true. It’s one thing for it to be a rumour, but this person has actually seen Jungkook in the act. You grab Sunhee’s arm urgently. “I need to talk to him.”
Before she can utter a reply, you’re bolting off in the direction you came from, towards Jae. He hasn’t gone too far so it didn’t take long to catch up to him. Sunhee trails after you, calling out your name to get you to slow down. You only do so when you close up on him and with all the ruckus, he turns and stops, glancing at you with a confused look on his face.
“What’s going on?” He asks carefully, eyes darting to Sunhee finally reaching your side. She catches her breath and glares at you unbelievably.
“I need to ask you something.” You say gently. “It’s about Jungkook.”
The mention of Jungkook’s name changes the look on his face. His tall, confident posture turns fidgety and anxious. “I don’t really know Jungkook.” He spits out before turning away hurriedly, pulling his cap down to cover his eyes.
You move to stand in front of him. “You get your...prescriptions from him don’t you?” He gulps, looking around. The hallway is empty. But that doesn’t mean no one’s listening. “You’re not in trouble or anything. I just wanted to ask you about the rumour going around. Is it true?”
“I don’t know, I didn’t start it.” He huffs.
“That’s not what I heard.” Your eyes move to Sunhee who stands behind him. He follows your gaze.
Sunhee stares back blankly and shrugs, “What? That’s what I heard.”
Jae closes his eyes in defeat and sighs. “Let’s talk somewhere else.” He says, checking the empty hallway again. Then he leads you both down the hallway. He stops at a staircase just as the hallway ends, extending left and right into another one. As it just so happens, that’s where the staff rooms are. You would expect to more likely be in trouble if any faculty members overheard you, so why would he bring you here.
He climbs up a few steps and takes a seat, resting his arms on his knees. “I didn’t start that rumour.” Is all he says.
“Are you sure?”
“Look, all I said was that I get my supplies from Jungkook.” He starts. “The rumour had already spread by then, about a staff member.” He keeps his voice low and you look around the corner every now and then to make sure no one is coming. “The thing is, it’s not that this guy gets his supply from students. He’s the supplier.”
Sunhee’s jaw drops like you’ve just promised her everything she’s ever wanted. “Are you serious? Oh my god.” She bites her lip and quietens down when you give her a look.
“So where does Jungkook come in?”
“When the word spread about this guy, a few guys who usually deal with me came and asked if this other guy is legit. Of course I told them I don’t know anything about it. I’ve only ever dealt with Jungkook.” He shrugs. “As far as I know, Jungkook’s the only supplier. It’s kinda weird that this guy suddenly pops out of nowhere. And since Jungkook’s been kinda missing in action lately, I guess a lot of his buyers assume he might be the one supplying the new guy to replace him.”
“Jungkook’s been missing in action?”
“Well not completely.” Jae says. He gets up and brushes the back of his jeans. “He’s been kinda slow on the orders. Maybe he’s busy.”
“Right.” You nod, trying to put together everything you just found out.
“Speak of the devil. That’s him right there.” So that’s why he chose to speak to you here. Jae looks over your shoulder, and along the hallway lined with doors that are staff-only accessible, he struts down with a book in his hand and a cup of coffee in the other.
“No way.” You whisper to yourself as you watch him. He enters the admin room, tapping a card on a small machine next to the door which unlocks it. You keep your eyes on the door, blinking away, wondering if your eyes were playing tricks on you. “That’s him?”
“That’s him.” Jae confirms. He slips between the two of you. “I gotta go now. I won’t get in trouble with Jungkook, will I?”
“Of course not.” You reassure him, “I just wanted to know about the rumour and who started it.”
“Cool.” He nods. “You know, I’m loyal too. I never switched over cause I trust him.”
“Good to know.” You say with a hint of amusement in your voice. “I’ll be sure to let him know you’re a big fan.”
He only smiles before walking away, waving to the two of you. Before Sunhee can leave too, you grab on to her arm. “Keep whatever you heard today to yourself.”
A soft whine is her response and she looks at you with puppy-dog eyes, silently pleading. You stand your ground. “Not even one person?”
“Not even one person.” You hold out your pinky in front of her. “Promise.”
“Which part though, the Jungkook part or the new guy or⎯”
“All of it. No one has to know anything.”
“Disagree⎯”
“Sunhee!”
“Alright, alright.” She groans but hooks her pinky around yours and you tighten your grip. “I guess I won’t tell anyone. What’s this all about anyway?”
She raises a brow when you don’t reply. “It’s nothing. I can’t tell you.”
“You’re as mysterious as your boyfriend these days.” Can’t tell if it’s a compliment, seeing as how she’s narrowing her eyes as though she’d be able to read your mind if she tries hard enough. “Probably for the best, you know I can’t keep my mouth shut anyway.”
“If you can keep this quiet, we’ll go for rush parties together.” There’s a sudden sparkle in her eye. Who you go with is crucial in determining what kind of night you’ll have. Being seen entering with the right people, means you’ll probably be making lots of new friends. And being seen with you, a girlfriend of someone in the host house, will lead to lots of new socialising opportunities for Sunhee.
“Deal.” Is all she says, no further bargaining. Her body turns in the direction you were headed earlier before Jae, “You coming?”
“Um.” You look around the quiet hallway. “You know what, I'll just take this exit. Jungkook’s picking me up anyway.”
“Alright. See you next week.” She winks and heads off.
You text Jungkook, to let him know where you’d be waiting for him. While you wait, you scan the long board display between doors. Pictures of staff members everywhere along with their names and designated roles underneath each photo. By the end of the entire row, you hadn’t found him.
Past the glass display, full of trophies and medals from inter-college competitions, you find a board plastered with information on new extracurricular clubs. An acapella group, self-defense classes, poetry⎯ wait, self-defense classes. “Led by special instructor Kim Namjoon...”
You hadn’t realised when he appeared behind you but his low sounding voice makes you jump. “Interested?” He chuckles when you make a squeaking sound. “Sorry didn’t mean to scare you.”
“So you work here.” You say the obvious.
“Yeah.” Now he’s looking at the flyer on the board. “Not to brag but, I designed this myself.”
“It’s cute.” You nod. “Self-defense instructor and a flyer expert. Truly a jack of all trades.”
He laughs then looks down at his feet as his hands sink into his pockets. He wears a brown checkered v-neck vest over a light blue shirt. To think this is the guy everyone’s talking about. The one dealing drugs. “Are you waiting for someone?” He asks, looking around.
“Yes, yeah, I better go wait by the exit, he’ll be here any minute.” You check your phone.
“I’ll walk with you.” He offers. With his arm stretched forward, he gestures for you to walk with him. “Was on my way to get some fresh air anyway. How’s the hangover by the way?”
“Oh much better, thanks.” You’re reminded of the lame attempt at a comeback at the cafe earlier and wince. “So how long have you been working here?”
“Not long.” He faces forward as he walks. “The school only confirmed my classes like a month ago.”
“I see.”
“Will you sign up?”
“Oh I don’t know.” You shake your head and laugh dryly. “I have so much on my plate already.”
“Well if you ever wanna drop by one of the classes, just let me know.”
“That’s nice of you, thank you.” You smile and once again you’re distracted by his dimples. “How’s the response though?”
“It’s great! I might have to split the class into three and have them on different days of the week.”
“Wow, really?” You ask, surprised. “That good huh.”
“Yeah, I wasn’t expecting this either, honestly.”
He shrugs, still wearing that cute smile on his face. You actually wonder if Jae might have gotten it all wrong. Maybe it wasn’t Namjoon. Maybe it was someone else, someone other than this big, huggable guy beside you. “That’s great though, I’m happy for you.”
Late afternoon sun rays kiss your skin as you step out the doors. Down the steps, you see a familiar figure sitting on his bike. As it is, you get a text from Jungkook just then, telling you he’s here. “Is that your friend?”
“Yup. I better go.” You say, one foot already down the step. “I’ll see you around. Maybe I will drop by for one of your classes.”
“Please do.” He grins and looks so painfully handsome. “Oh and, I haven’t gotten your name.”
“Y/N.”
“See you y/n.”
You trot down the steps and towards Jungkook who watches your little exchange. He removes his helmet to give you a kiss before handing over yours. “Who’s that?” He asks as you swing your leg over the pillion seat. You wrap your arms securely around his torso.
“That’s Namjoon. We just met. He’s some self-defense instructor.”
Jungkook watches him not so subtly, hands on the handles but head twisted, burning holes in his direction. Namjoon doesn’t care too much for it. When you turn, he’s waving goodbye cheerfully. You wave back before turning to Jungkook. “What’s the matter? You know him?”
“Nope.”
 𝄖𝄖
“So is it true?” A haughty voice fills the room as the door barges open with a kick. Jungkook keeps his back to its owner and continues sipping on his martini. Suga, sitting adjacent to him at the bar, turns in his chair. “Heard there’s a new guy in town. Have you finally lost your touch, Ace?”
Back at the headquarters in the early morning, the bar is empty save for the cleaners, picking up trash and wiping everything down. They had been called in by the lieutenant for a short meeting. Unfortunately, so had the other runners from another district. One who constantly makes it known that he hates them.
“Dude, why’re you so obsessed with him?” Suga asks calmly. They’re so used to Hongjun and his buddies running their mouths by now.
Hongjun scoffs and the two other guys behind him laugh. “Obsessed? You wish.” He sneers. “I’m just concerned.”
“Worry about yourself.” Jungkook spits out without even sparing him a glance.
“Are you kidding me?” Hongjun laughs dryly. “I’m so much better than you. Always have been.”
The stool scrapes against the floor as Jungkook gets to his feet. He steps up to Hongjun, getting all up in his face. “And yet, you’re not the one they call Ace.”
The scowl on Hongjun’s face says it all. His lips tremble with anger and he starts swinging Jungkook’s way. He lands a punch to Jungkook’s side and Jungkook retaliates with an uppercut to his nose. Staggering backwards into his friend, blood starts dripping down his nose. “You idiot! You⎯”
“What the fuck is going on.” Lieutenant Kyun appears, eyes moving from Suga to Jungkook, to Hongjun and his bloody nose, and back at Jungkook. Kyun is always calm. But dangerous. You never know what he’s thinking. “Explain.”
“I was returning the favour.”
“You’ll pay for that!” Hongjun yells again. One of his guys slips behind the bar to get some ice and a towel.
“Shut up.” His deep voice echoes through the empty room. “Stop acting like a bunch of kids. And you, stop whining, it's just a little blood.”
Hongjun sinks into one of the chairs and sulks, holding up the towel-wrapped ice to his nose. Jungkook moves back to his seat, giving Suga a fist bump that doesn’t go unnoticed by the other guys.
“First of all, you three.” He points to Hongjun and his friends. “You have a whole key of crack missing. Your numbers don’t tally, I don’t know how you guys missed this.”
“What no, that’s impossible.” One of them says.
“Either find it, or fix your numbers then.” Kyun says. “You know every little amount is evidence, if it lands in the wrong hands. Boss is not gonna be happy when he hears about this so I’m giving you guys three days to sort it out. Otherwise, it’s out of my hands.”
Jungkook looks in their direction and gives a thumbs up with a smile on his face. The most genuine smile he’s ever given them probably. He gets the finger from all of them.
“And you.” The focus is now on Jungkook. The smile is wiped from his face and he takes on his usual serious look. “What’s with the dip in your sales? You have a forty percent difference from previous months. This is ridiculous, honestly.”
Some faint snickering comes from the other guys. Jungkook stays silent. “Come on, you know he’s being watched.” Suga says in defense. “He’s just trying to be careful.”
“You can be careful and still do your job.”
Jungkook has nothing to say. Besides, he thinks it’ll only make things worse. It’s best to get his ass chewed now and get it over with. Kyun checks his phone and a while later the bouncer steps in through the front door, someone behind him. “Sir, this man says he’s here to see you.”
“Just in time.” He smiles for the first time that night. “Come, join us.”
All eyes are on him as he steps out from behind the shadows and into the light. Suga and Jungkook watch him closely, observing the slick jacket he’s wearing above a tight tee, with tapered pants and his hair slicked back. He looks like another one of those businessmen they deal with. He exchanges handshakes with the lieutenant and the dimple on his face stands out as he smiles.
“Guys, this is our new recruit. RM.” Kyun says. He looks at Suga and Jungkook. “He was dispatched to your district. We wanted to see if he has what it takes. And so far, he’s doing well, for a rookie. You sure you haven’t done this before?”
“No sir.” The new guy says with a smile. He has a deep voice that rivals Kyun’s.
Hongjun is the first to get acquainted with him, offering a handshake with his non-bloody hand. “About time we had some fresh blood. What with how lazy some people are.” He emphasises on the lazy bit, subtly nodding his head in Jungkook’s direction. RM looks at Jungkook who stares back.
“That’s enough.” Kyun says. “Go out back and double check your numbers. Talking about lazy when you lose a whole key...”
When the rest of the men are gone, Kyun turns to Suga and Jungkook. “He’ll be joining you from now on.”
“No offense but,” Suga chuckles. “We’re a duo. We don’t need an extra guy.”
“No offense but you do. He’s the only reason the numbers in your district, which is under your supervision, is still steady.” Kyun says, wiping the smile on Suga’s face. “Before I let you guys off, RM I need a word with you.”
“Sure.”
The two guys watch as he follows Kyun to a corner. They give each other a look of disapproval. Jungkook looks over at RM again, giving him a once over.
“Now listen here,” Kyun says, keeping his voice low. He knows the other two are watching, so he speaks carefully. “I want you to keep an eye on Ace for me.”
“The kid?” RM asks, raising a brow.
“He hasn’t been performing as well as of late. And he’s one of our best.” Kyun fakes a smile, pretending as if he’s saying something nice. “Just make sure there’s nothing we need to be worried about. He’s sharp, so don’t make it obvious. Update me weekly.”
“Done.” RM nods, returning the smile. Kyun gives him another handshake and a pat on the back.
“You okay?” Suga asks Jungkook, patting him reassuringly on the shoulder. “Don’t worry about him.”
Suga’s goes on saying some nasty things about RM but Jungkook tunes him out, only nodding as a response. He doesn’t tell Suga that he’s seen the new guy just earlier today. On those steps, with you.
Music and the sound of shoes hitting the floor in time to the beat as well as shouts and laughter could be heard echoing around the dance studio before you’d even entered the room. You’d just finished work and like every other Tuesday, you headed straight to the boys’ practice session for the final hour so you could ride home with your boyfriend, Namjoon. His home at the moment being the dorms he stayed in with the rest of the group members; they were busy these days with practice and promotions and studio time, it was just so much more convenient for them all to stay in the same place together. You’d been with Namjoon for almost a year now, probably the happiest year of your life so far, and everyday you made an effort to remind yourself just how lucky you are to have found him at a time when you needed someone just like him the most. You’d only just started to get your life back on track - a stable job, a steady income, a nice apartment to yourself - when you’d met him that day at the coffee shop on the block where you both worked. It was perfect. Everything in your life had come together and now, even in this city where you knew no one just 10 months prior, you had a boyfriend and group of friends who had welcomed you with open arms the moment Namjoon had introduced you.
Out of everyone in the group, you’d seemed to bond with Jimin and Taehyung the most; you were all born around the same time with Jimin’s birthday just three days before yours so you supposed that was why it was almost effortless for the three of you to hang out from the start. The others were just as welcoming though, as could be seen as soon as you entered the practice room, Namjoon running over to kiss you and ask about your day while everyone turned to greet you enthusiastically; everyone except Jeongguk. Jeongguk was the only one of the group you weren’t exactly close to; when you’d first started dating Namjoon, he was actually the one that you spent the most time with aside from your boyfriend of course. But that quickly changed.
‘Kookie, it’s time for you to go to bed.’ You laughed at the younger male who had arrived back at the dorms in what you could only describe as an absolutely wrecked state. Falling all over himself as he tried to stumble out of his trainers, he’d let himself fall back on the couch with a sigh.
‘M just gonna sleep here.’ He’d slurred, his eyes closed tightly as though he was already asleep as he was talking. You were the only two awake in the dorms, it was 3am after all and Namjoon had gone to bed an hour ago after falling asleep within the first 20 minutes of the movie you’d been begging him to watch with you for weeks.
With an amused sigh, you shook your head and decided not to argue with the drunken mess in front of you, speaking a soft goodnight under your breath. ‘Uh, y/n?’ Jeongguk’s voice was quiet but loud enough for you to hear in the silence of the building. ‘You- um- do you wanna maybe sit with me for a bit? Room’s spinning and I-’
‘I’ll sit with you.’ You cut him off, realising he was going to keep rambling if you didn’t just answer him. You nudged his feet to make room for you at the foot of the sofa and he obliged, sitting himself up slightly to rest against the chair arm as he looked at you.
‘You’re so pretty.’ Jeongguk spoke confidently after a brief discussion about tonight's adventures and you couldn’t help but blush slightly at his words, hitting his shin and thanking him. Drunk people really are something else, you thought to yourself. ‘No, really you are. I-I hope Joonie hyung knows how lucky he is. I think… I think if I had a girlfriend pretty like you are, wouldn’t be able to stay away from you.’ His words were a mumble and his eyes unfocused but there was a sincerity in his tone that was hard for you to ignore as you shifted awkwardly in your seat. ‘Sometimes think I’m fucking jealous he was the one who met you that day.’
Your cheeks burned red at his words and you were unbelievably thankful that the only light in the room was what was leaking in from the still fully-lit kitchen. ‘Jeongguk… I don’t think-’. But when you looked at him to address him directly, he was fast asleep.
You hadn’t spoken about that night with Jeongguk ever since it happened; you weren’t even sure if he remembered it. But from that moment on, you had distanced yourself from the younger male. If everyone else but him left a room, you would do the same; if it were just the two of you at a table, you would excuse yourself to the bathroom. It was harsh and you knew it but you didn’t know what else to do. And it wasn’t his fault really, what he’d said wasn’t what had bothered you. It was how you felt when he said it. You felt butterflies in your stomach and an excited blush on your cheeks and a deep feeling of guilt in the very core of your being. And sometimes even now, you would catch eyes with him and the butterflies would return. It was your best kept secret, your crush on your boyfriend’s best friend.
The boys returned to practice after Namjoon had briefly asked about your day, rushing the conversation slightly because the choreographer today was rather impatient but you didn’t mind. You settled on the floor, shoes kicked off and back to the wall with iced caramel latte in hand; Namjoon always had one ready for when you would arrive, your favourite drink. You watched the boys with a smile on your face, breaking into laughter with the rest of them when Jimin slipped and fell, much to the dismay of the choreographer, as you tried to ignore the nagging feeling that someone was watching you. You knew who it was, the only person not in your immediate line of vision - Jeongguk.
This was one of the moments where you would catch him staring at you and nervous excitement would tingle in the pit of your stomach as you both looked away within a second. And as much as you didn’t want to give in this time, your eyes flicked towards him and caught his gaze. Normally, he would look away fast and shamefully as soon as you turned to him but not today. Today, he drank from his water bottle while keeping his eyes on you and you couldn’t help watching the way his throat moved as he swallowed the liquid. He was still watching you. Why wasn’t he looking away? Why weren’t you looking away? You saw the corner of his mouth twitch up in a smirk as he held your gaze for just a millisecond longer before turning his attention back to the dance. The dance studio was so much hotter than usual today, you thought to yourself to try and distract yourself from the jarring interaction with the boy at the other side of the room. It was hotter because you were blushing and the pit of your stomach felt warm for some reason and because you couldn’t stop thinking about Jeongguk’s eyes and his throat and the way his tattooed hand was gripping his water bottle and - oh fuck, what is happening?
The sound of your name being called pulled you out of your panicked daze as you looked at the clock and then at your boyfriend calling you from the door to the dance studio. Twenty minutes had passed and you’d barely even noticed, too busy focusing on getting these thoughts out of your head. Even looking at Namjoon’s beautiful, blissfully ignorant face made you feel sick to your stomach with guilt. ‘Oh, uh, yeah. Just one minute,’ you muttered, moving to put your shoes on as he left to wait for you by the car.
‘It’s nothing to be ashamed of, you know?’ Jeongguk’s voice came from behind you as you were tying your laces. You could hear the smile on his lips, feeling a pang of sadness that you hadn’t witnessed it in so long due to distancing yourself from him, but refusing to look up at him. He was making his way towards the door as well and soon enough he was in front of you but you still didn’t lift your head to look at him.  ‘People can’t help who they’re attracted to.’
‘I don’t know what you’re talking about.’ A laugh escaped his lips and the butterflies were back. Eventually, you had to look up, knowing you couldn’t continue staring at the floor until he left. You feigned normality as you stood up and grabbed your bag. ‘Really, I have no idea.’ You pressed, now looking him dead in his face as he raised one eyebrow questioningly and your heart raced in your chest.
‘Whatever you say.’ He shook his head in an amused fashion before walking out of the studio. You waited 20 seconds, long enough to compose yourself, before following after him.
---
The next few days were relatively normal; you’d worked, Namjoon had worked even more than that and you’d had lunch with Taehyung and Hobi once when they weren’t needed at dance practice. But things with Jeongguk… well, things with Jeongguk  weren’t getting any easier. It seemed as though he’d been making an extra effort to get noticed by you, to be alone with you. The seemingly ever-present smirk on his face as he’d make a thinly-veiled flirtation comment before catching your eye; sometimes he would even laugh quietly when you’d drag your eyes away, embarrassment flooding your cheeks. And nothing about this was discreet. It was so shameless, in fact, that even Jimin had pulled you aside briefly to ask you about it. You’d brushed it off as just ‘Kookie messing around’ but he looked skeptical, he’d said that Jeongguk was lucky Namjoon has been busy in the studio lately because there’s no way this would have gone over his head otherwise.
It had to stop and you knew it but the nerves you felt when you imagined confronting him had made you shy away up until this point. You’d put it off everytime you built up the courage to say something and had always breathed a silent sigh of relief whenever someone had entered the room just before you were about to speak to him. But today the whole group was at the studio, finishing off a song that Jeongguk was no longer needed for because his part was complete. He had the day off and it was just the two of you in the apartment. Your time to say something was now and there was no backing out when you were at his bedroom door, banging at it with your fist while your heart raced.
Jeongguk answered the door with a knowing smirk, of course he knew it would be you when the others were out. ‘I knew you’d come running eventually.’ He teased, standing away from the open door to let you in. You brushed off his comment, stepping angrily into the centre of the room before turning to face him, arms folded across your stomach.
‘You need to fucking stop.’ You demanded, adrenaline fuelled by anger pumping through your veins as you stood in front of him. ‘What are you playing at? Jimin asked me if we we’re fucking? Did you know that?! People think we’re fucking Jeongguk, that’s not okay!’ The fact that his face didn’t change at your words, he remained seemingly unbothered by discovering Jimin was onto him, only angered you further. ‘What about Joon? He’s your leader, you’re supposed to fucking respect him.’
‘What Namjoon-hyung doesn’t know won’t hurt him, y/n.’ Jeongguk spoke firmly but there was a weakness in his tone. If you knew any better, you’d think he was on the verge of begging but you know Jeongguk and you’re pretty sure he’s not the kind of man to beg.
‘That’s so messed up, Kook. He’s my boyfriend, I-’
‘Do you love him?’ Jeongguk asked suddenly and you stopped talking, mouth opening wide as you stared at him. He repeated the question but you were deep in thought. You hadn’t actually told Namjoon you love him yet, or vice versa which you supposed was weird after almost a year but some relationships are slower and you certainly cared deeply for one another. And besides, not loving someone doesn’t mean fuck someone else.
‘You can’t tell me you don’t feel it too. I can see it in the way you look at me.’ He cut off your train of thought. And he was right, of course he was right. Hell, even Jimin picked up on something between the two of you. Jeongguk took one step closer to you, eyeing you carefully to make sure you wouldn’t back away and you wanted to but also you didn’t want to and suddenly his lips were pressing lightly against yours.
Panic alarms were ringing in your head. This is wrong. This is so so wrong. You’re cheating. But the alarms were silenced when you realised you were kissing him back and he was pressing his tongue ever so delicately across your lips. You’d never felt so fucking turned on from just a kiss but here you were, your panties probably soaking through as he delicately cupped your face with one hand and pulled you closer with the other. You felt high from his kiss, as though this is something you had been waiting for forever and in that moment, Namjoon didn’t exist. No one else existed except the two of you.
Jeongguk was walking you backwards towards the bed, sitting you down on the edge of it before kneeling in front of you. His hands played with the waistband of your trousers, fumbling to grip it and looked up at you as a way to ask if this was okay. You nodded, you couldn’t quite fucking believe it but you nodded because you were drunk on the boy in front of you and you didn’t think you’d ever been so aroused in your life. He didn’t have to be told twice, pulling both your trousers and your panties down in just one movement.
‘Lay back.’ Jeongguk spoke but it wasn’t demanding, it was soft and he seemed more distracted by your pussy now fully exposed to him. You did as he said, opening your legs wider and you were sure you almost heard a small whimper from him as he got a better look at your opening. ‘Can I touch you?’ Jeongguk asked, almost breathlessly as he shuffled forward on his knees to get more in between your legs.
It was strange, him asking to touch you after he’s spent all this time trying to get you here but you supposed he just maybe was extra careful about consent. Either way it was undeniably attractive for reasons you couldn’t fully comprehend to have him sat patiently, waiting for your permission. ‘Yes, yes.’ You barely had time to blink before his finger was tracing around your folds, slowly moving around you and gently flicking across your most sensitive area. You gasped at the feeling as he kissed inside your thighs, his finger moving to your hole and pushing inside.
Then he pushed in another, moving slowly at first and curving slightly until he found one spot inside you that made you see stars. ‘Oh shit, th-there.’ He moaned along with you and you wondered if he’d managed to get his clothes off somehow to touch himself but he couldn’t have. He really must just enjoy getting people off. Your moans became louder as he began to move his fingers faster, ensuring to keep hitting that same spot over and over until you were practically dripping onto his bedsheets. You’d never been this wet before, not without lube, and you didn’t even know it was possible.
‘Want another one?’ He asked, sounding almost as fucked out as you even though he had simply pushed his fingers inside you. You moaned in confirmation nodding desperately as you wrapped the bedding around your fists. The knot in your stomach was already tightening and he hadn’t even touched your clit. It was like his hands were magic - or this sexual frustration was so pent up, you would have been pushed over the edge from even the slightest touch eventually. He pushed in a third finger, his other hand moving to circle your most sensitive area with the perfect amount of pressure. Your back was arching off of the bed, so lost in the feelings he was giving you with just his bare hands.
‘Fuck Kookie, I-I’m gonna cum already.’ He sped up his movements at your words, eagerly pushing you closer and closer to the edge. ‘I- you… you’re so fucking good at this. So fucking good.’ You don’t know why your words made him moan, high pitched and drawn out as he bit lightly into your thigh but it was so hot. All of this was so fucking hot, you weren’t sure how much longer you would be able to last. And then the knot within you tightened even more as soon as his fingers hit that one spot, you were done. Your orgasm hit you like a train, your entire mind blank as you felt the pleasure. He continued moving his fingers inside you until your muscles relaxed and you sank into the mattress. You almost groaned with sadness as he removed his fingers from you.
‘Do you want a handjob or something?’ You asked under your breath as he moved to sit on the bed, back to wall with the obvious tent in his joggers almost begging to be touched. At this point, you were so high from your orgasm that you weren’t even thinking about how wrong this was. As awful as it felt to think about, that was the best orgasm you’d ever had and it was just from his fingers. You felt you owed him something in return after what he’d just done for you.
Jeongguk shook his head as he wiped his wet fingers lazily on his bed sheets - usually that would seem gross to you but somehow it was hot. Everything he did was so fucking hot and it was infuriating because now you’d crossed the line and you were officially someone who had cheated on your boyfriend and oh fuck, the guilt was rising as your high faded and this was terrible. Awful. The worst thing in the world. ‘It’s okay. Just wanted to make sure we were on the same page.’
With that, he threw a smug wink in your direction before getting off the bed and heading for what you assumed was a shower though you couldn’t hear him over the deep shame in the pit of your stomach. How would you ever face Namjoon again?
---
‘It’s not happening again. It can’t happen again.’ Your voice was shaking as you tried everything in your power to seem strong. You were feigning confidence and it was obvious with the way your hands nervously fiddled with the hem of your sweater but you hoped more than anything he wouldn’t pick up on it. Nothing had happened since whatever the fuck had happened before, he’d barely even paid you any attention afterwards. At first you felt slightly offended, wondered if you’d done something wrong for him to suddenly lose interest but the shame that came with those feelings was enough to tell you it was for the best. But then he became interested again, teasing you and trying to get you alone. You had enough.
‘But I-’ Jeongguk started before you shook your head.
‘Just fucking no!’ You practically yelled and were shocked to see him flinch slightly at the harshness of your tone. ‘It’s so, so awful, Kookie. It’s wrong. How do you not feel terrible? How can you even sleep at night? I’ve barely slept since… since the other day and I can’t keep this secret. I have to tell him, I have to fucking tell him. I-’
‘Y/n, please.’ His voice came out gentle as he cut you off and you couldn’t help but be taken aback. He took two steps forward and held one of your hands between two of his. ‘Please, please just let me have you once. Just once and I’ll never ask again.’ He was practically whining as he looked deep into your eyes; you were wrong before - Jeongguk is the type of man to beg. There was no dominance in his gaze, only desperation and even though he was taller than you, he looked smaller somehow. You could feel your heart swell at the almost adorable sight as heat simultaneously pooled in your stomach - this was fucking confusing. ‘Please let me just be inside you, I-I can’t stop thinking about your pussy and how good it must feel and taste and I want to make you feel good. I need to make you feel good. Please let me try, I know I can do well.’
You knew you should say no, turn him away and tell Namjoon but the worst part was you didn’t want to. The way he was looking at you was so desperate you thought he might cry and you remembered how hard you came just from his fingers inside you. It was disgusting how much you wanted him, even when Namjoon had touched you the other night, you found yourself imagining it was the younger male between your legs for a brief moment before snapping out of it.
‘Just once.’ The words were out of your mouth before you even thought to stop them and the way Jeongguk’s face lit up at just the two syllables was enough to make a small smile play on your lips in return. Just one time. Then you can stop thinking of him when you touch yourself with your boyfriend asleep next to you. Quick thank you’s were bouncing off of Jeongguk’s tongue as he grabbed your hand as he practically dragged you to the bedroom like a little boy running to open his Christmas presents.
As soon as you were in his room, he slammed the door shut and began shedding his clothes. His t-shirt first, then his shorts and then finally his boxers. You were still fully-clothed as he pulled your hand to move you to the bed. You were mesmerised by him; his beautiful tanned skin stretched perfectly over his defined arms and abs and his cock - well, his cock was beautiful. It was thinner than Namjoon’s but long and slightly curved in a way you knew would hit all the right places inside you. You briefly cringed at the idea of comparing your boyfriend’s cock to the one of the man kneeling on the bed in front of you but you pushed the thoughts away. That didn’t matter now. It was just one time.
You followed his lead, pushing those thoughts completely out of your mind as you pulled your t-shirt over your head, followed by your leggings and your panties hitting the floor. You couldn’t quite believe that you were here again. What a pathetic attempt to tell someone to leave you alone. Before you could even try to talk yourself out of it, Jeongguk was reaching out towards you, softly grabbing your hand and pulling you to lay on the bed.
‘I really want to make you feel amazing, y/n. Better than you’ve ever felt.’ You were laid with your legs bent and open and Jeongguk was hovering above you, peppering kisses from your jawline, down your chest. ‘I’ve thought about it for a long time but now more than ever and I-I know it’s wrong but…’ Jeongguk trails off as he begins to kiss your stomach and then your inner thighs and he’s getting closer to your pussy before he speaks again. ‘I-I just have to know how you taste. Can I?’ Again, he’s asking before he does and it's so endearing to you that you can only say yes to him.
His tongue is warm and desperate as it hits your pussy, directly on your clit and circles the bud with such a force you have to force yourself not to arch up into his face instantly. He moans when his tongue pokes at your hole, gathering all your juices and you hear him make a noise almost as though he is drinking it in. ‘You taste better than I could have thought. I- fuck, wow.’ He mutters almost to himself as he continues to work his mouth on you. You grind up into his face accidentally but he doesn’t seem to care, if anything he buries himself deeper and you’re sure his entire face must be wet at this point. He works so expertly, it's almost effortless the way his tongue glides to all the right places that make your toes curl and your head spin. And then he stops and he’s looking at you.
‘Can I touch myself?’ As you looked down at him, you took in his appearance. His nose and chin were wet with your arousal and his eyes were wide, pleading with you as he looked up at you through his eyelashes. It was adorable in the most inappropriate of ways. It was then that your mind flashed back to your last encounter with the boy in front of you - the way he’d asked before he could touch you, moaned along with you when he was receiving no stimulation, practically cried out loud when you told him he was doing good. Jeongguk loved this - someone else being in control, controlling him. You would never have guessed based on his loud dominating demeanour in everyday life but in the bedroom he would submit to everything you asked, you were sure of it.
You decided to test your theory, see how much he actually would listen to you. ‘Not right now, just focus on me for a little while.’ You spoke softly and were awestruck when he nodded without protest, eagerly moving his mouth back onto your cunt and pulling his hand away from his seemingly aching cock. The surge of power you felt was overwhelming, the feeling of fondness you felt towards the boy between your legs was indescribable. He really was in this for you, he wasn’t joking when he said he needs to make you feel good. ‘Good boy.’ You whispered into the air, testing the waters as you remembered how he responded when you praised him last time.
The reaction was the same, he moaned into your cunt, your words only spurring him to go harder. His mouth acted as a vacuum on your clit as his tongue dipped in and out of your hole. ‘Such a good boy.’ You didn’t even think about what you were saying now, the words effortlessly rolling off your tongue as your fingers tugged softly on his hair. He let out another pathetic yet endearing moan as he slipped one finger inside you alongside his tongue and the extra intrusion almost made you cum on the spot. And so you pulled his head up before it was too late - he looked breathtaking with his hair messed up and his lips swollen and his entire lower face glistening with your wetness. ‘Lay down now, let me ride you.’
‘You don’t have to. I-I don’t mind making you cum like this, I’ll be fine.’ There was a sincerity in his tone as he sat back onto his heels, his cock red and leaking. It was literally wet from precum. ‘Just wanna make you feel good.’ You remembered how last time he’d also refused a handjob from you and you wondered how you didn’t see this side to him before. Everything about him now screamed submission and wanting to please you and everything that happened before suddenly was clear to you in a whole new way.
‘If you fuck me, you will make me feel good, Kookie.’ You explained and he nodded, moving to lay down on the bed. You lifted one leg over him to straddle him as he lined himself up with you entrance and you didn’t miss the low moan that fell from his lips at only the feeling of his hand gripping himself to line himself up. He definitely wasn’t going to last long. You both moaned in pleasure as his tip sank into you and you slowly, teasingly lowered yourself onto him. When you did this with Namjoon, he could never resist grabbing your hips and pushing you down onto him but Jeongguk did no such thing. He laid still, head tilted back in pleasure as you slowly lowered yourself down, not even a part of him attempting to get you deeper and you could see from the tension in his lower abdomen how much effort it was taking for him to not push into you. This was completely on your own terms. Once you were fully on his cock, he groaned from deep within his chest, his hands gripping your hips so tight you thought there might be bruises later and you figured this is the time where his composure snaps and he fucks you hard.
But then his grip softens and he’s begging you quietly under his breath. ‘Please, please let me fuck you, y/n. I need this, you feel so good. So perfect.’ He’s so lost in pleasure his eyes can barely focus on you when he looks up at you. His beauty hits you again like a wave when you look into his eyes, his pupils blown with lust and admiration, tears almost in his eyes as he begs you. You tell him he can fuck you and that’s when he starts moving.
He’s holding onto your hips you rest your arms on the pillow either of his head and he’s fucking up into you so fast, the perfect curve of his cock hitting your spot directly every single time. You’re moaning in sync, yours becoming more high pitched and his more animalistic the closer you each get to coming and with the slapping of his skin on yours and vulgar sounds of wetness echoing around the room, it sounds like music to your ears. In between his moans he’s whispering almost incoherent words of praise to you and as egotistical as it is, hearing him speak to you that way only pushes you further to your peak.
‘I-I’m not gonna last long, y/n.’ Jeongguk speaks and you knew he was close because his thrusts were becoming more and more erratic and the sounds falling from his lips were more desperate intakes of breath in between praise. ‘You’re so fucking tight, fuck. You’re amazing, the best pussy ever. Never felt so good, thank you.’
‘Make me cum first baby, then you can.’ He moves one hand from gripping your hip to your clit, circling it in that expert way he did the other day. It makes your head spin and you’re certain you’ve never ever felt this good before. Not even the best drugs in the world would feel this good, you were so sure of it.
‘M really close, c-can I cum?’ The sheer desperation in his voice is what did it, what tipped you over the edge. And suddenly you were cumming, and it was powerful and beyond anything you’ve ever felt before. You managed to force out a yes, giving the younger male permission to cum and before the word had even finished in your mouth, his cum was shooting inside you. ‘Thank you, thank you, thank you.’ He chanted almost like a prayer as you rode him through his orgasm, yours slowly dying down as you could feel rope after rope of his cum fill you up. Thank god you were on birth control, you thought to yourself.
‘Kookie baby, you didn’t even try to pull out.’ He was still moaning as you lifted yourself off of him, his cock tensing slightly as the final weak ropes of cum leaked out over the tip and spilling down the now softening skin along with the cum mixed with your juices that had dripped onto him when you moved away. You brought a hand down to jokingly slap his now only semi-hard cock but the moan that came from him in response was guttural and low and you felt your core burst with arousal at the sound.
Curiously, you ran your finger along his most likely extremely sensitive cock and watched the way he writhed beneath you, his cock twitching as he fisted the bedsheets. He whimpered aloud before speaking, frantic and desperately ‘I’m sorry for not pulling out. You- uh, you just felt so fucking good, I didn’t think. I couldn’t stop, I’m sorry.’ You replied softly, telling him it’s okay and he visibly relaxed though he made no attempt to move. He really was beautiful like this, laid there in front of you, his body flushed with arousal and clearly willing to do anything you asked. Even the way he looked at you, it was nothing you had ever experienced before and while Namjoon would praise everything about you this was so, so much more. Jeongguk looked at you like you were the most important person alive, he looked at you like this was a religion and you were his Goddess. When he was in this state of mind, he practically worshipped you and you couldn’t lie and say it didn’t make you feel amazing.
You continued trailing your finger along his cock, so lightly he wouldn’t be able to feel if he hadn’t just had an orgasm but now he was sensitive beyond anything he’d ever felt and his desperate whimpers were only spurring you on. You made the decision to dip your finger in the small pool of cum mixed with your own juices that had collected his stomach, collecting a little on your finger and leaning over Jeongguk until your finger was nearing his face. You were mainly just interested to see how he would react to you trying to feed him his own cum, hiding your shock when he opened his mouth willingly to accept your finger. He sucked on your finger as soon as it was in his mouth, his tongue wrapping around it and you almost moaned at how beautiful he looked. But you wouldn’t because you had accepted by this point that you were in charge and you wanted to come across that way.
‘You’re so pretty.’ You spoke and your mind flashed back to the night months ago when he’d said the same thing to you - drunk in the middle of the night. Things have definitely changed since then, you thought. You removed your finger from his mouth and gently moved to hold his cock in your hand. You could feel it already hardening beneath your touch and he was shaking his head to tell you it’s too sensitive but also bucking his hips up into your touch. ‘I still owe you a handjob, baby.’ You spoke softly and he whined in protest as you gripped him tighter, the sensitivity overpowering him as his entire body tensed.
‘I-I can’t cum again. Too sensitive’ He whispered between desperate moans, his hips bucking up erratically into your hands as you laughed at how hard he was and already leaking precum. He could definitely cum again, you thought to yourself. You began to move your hand on him faster, dipping your head down to lick the tip of his cock which elicited an animalistic growl of approval from deep within his throat. So much for being too sensitive. ‘Fuck, please. Please don’t stop. I’m so close.’
You knew it wouldn’t take much to make him cum so soon after the first time so you sucked on the head of his cock, your hand moving faster on him as he writhed beneath you. His whole body shining with a thin sheen of sweat really was a sight to behold. ‘I-I’m gonna cum.’ He moaned before he shot into your mouth, much less than before but still a significant amount. You swallowed his cum proudly before he grabbed your hand and pulled you to lay beside him.
‘That was… really amazing.’ You spoke, and you hated how content you felt as you turned on your side, Jeongguk mirroring your movements and wrapping an arm around your waist as he did so. He hummed softly in agreement, clearly still in complete bliss from his last orgasm.
‘I hope you understand that this has to happen again.’ Jeongguk spoke softly but determined, his head burying into the hair at the back of your head with a deep inhale. And God knows you wanted more than anything to resist, to fight back and tell him no Jeongguk this was a one time thing and it’s wrong and it’s disgusting and- but he was softly kissing the nape of your neck and you melted back into his touch, your eyes fluttering closed. ‘I think I’m a little bit addicted to you now.’
Heyy Sammy, I recently got to know about mid through another blog and to be honest, at first I thought of not giving it a try because I am actually not much of a reader of idol×y/n fics as I usually read ship fics (!!I don't ship idols in real life!!), but then when I was kinda trustfrated {inserts Jk's voice [ I am sorry but after jhope's ppapappapapaaa ( the dance practice one from bangtan bomb ), this is one of my favourite voice memes and I can't stop mentioning it ]}from studies, I decided to give it a try and now, I realised one of my mistakes, not reading it earlier.
I started reading it about a week ago and at first when I saw the chapter length, I was honestly thinking about not giving it a go because I have read many books and fics wherein long chapters might add up to the thickness but the whole story becomes so boring and as a writer (I only write sometimes though), I personally prefer writing long chapters over more chapters but then sometimes this thing becomes hard to pull off correctly but listen to me, YOU MADE IT WORTH IT. Your writing style is just so good (chef's kiss tbh), it's neither over cheesy nor emotionless, just the perfect way anyone would want to read. The way you described their relationship growth from partners in crime (just a reference) to head over heels couple is just so good.
Moreover, when I read an ask wherein a person was asking for some tips regarding intimacy and in the answer where you told that kisoek is actually inspired (idc if anyone cares about this man or not but there is nothing to be inspired from him, I just used the word as a reference for a connection!) from an actual person, I felt so hurt, angry and irritated. I am sorry but I don't remember the chapter number/name but when y/n finally opened about kisoek to mid!tae in the balcony (I guess), I felt so sad at that time and even though I haven't been in such a situation in my life till now (and never want to be too), I felt like crying over it, the way you described her broken state at that time made me feel so sad and then when I got to know that this kisoek person is actually someone who has done this with you in real life, I felt so hurt and I seriously cried, I mean, my assumption maybe wrong but the way you wrote that opening up scene, made me feel like you are telling me about your past and how you felt at that time. I am happy to know that you have gotten over it now but trust me, I want to punch the hell out of that man (even now!)
I am sorry if this is long
Anon I'm speechless!! Tysm for giving maybe I do a read and I'm sincerely thankful you feel this way about the series!! And wow I'm acc stunned you've made that connection, I'll leave my response below a cut since it'll be quite a personal one.
Kiseok is based on a person in my life, someone I legitimately know and still have to see. That opening up scene truly was just me kind of letting it out, since just like wifey oc I've never told anybody about what happened to me and so I have no outlet for my feelings or trauma really. I'll be frank and say honestly all of mid oc's trauma is my own, and so that's why this fic is very personal to me and holds a special place in my heart, because I guess I almost write this story and mid!tae to find some peace within myself and a way to heal. Which I did, I'm glad I was able to at least work through my feelings and know that somebody is and will love me that way mid tae loves his oc. Thank you for feeling like that for me my love, it seriously means a lot that you thought about me and the things i felt because yes, that entire scene is honestly me just screaming from the inside tbh. You don't have to do anything for me love!! This message is enough to make me feel loved, tysm for reading again!! 💓
Someone speaks badly about you on a show
—and they defend you, ofc.
Pairings: OT7 x Reader
Genre: I guess fluff for default, angst
Request by @ally22042000: "Hey, I saw that request for reactions are open. Can I have one with the boys ( just Yoongi and JK if all of them are to much), where they are at an award show or interview or something like that and someone talks disrespectfull about the reader? Thx so much💜 and have a nice day."
A/N: I hope this is what you had in mind, I enjoyed writing these 💕 Also, you're an idol in a couple of them and in the rest you're not. I hope you like it!
Tumblr media
Kim Seokjin
Your boyfriend absolutely lived for whenever he got asked to be an MC at award shows.
So, naturally, he was very hyped up once he was handed his lines and had to go up on stage with two other idols – one of them being his good friend of many years, and the other one being a new artist who had debuted last year.
It was simple. Read the cards. Just read the goddamn paper notes you had been given and that was it. But, apparently, the idol by his side was way too new to this whole thing, for instead of reading what he had been handed to, he fixed his eyes on Jin to his side.
"Thank God I got to be with the fun one of your relationship".
Seokjin's eyes went to lock with his out of instinct, having not really processed what had just happened yet.
"The fun one?" his eyebrows furrowed.
"Yeah" the idol nodded his head. "Y/N would've made this so boring".
Jin glanced for a brief second to his friend, as if to verify he had heard just the same and his mind wasn't making it up – his awkward expression itself doing that for him.
Nonetheless, as much as he wanted to snap at him, he decided to be the better one, maybe just because he knew he was still live and didn't want to make a scene right in front of everyone.
That didn't stop him from putting him in his place though.
"Then you clearly haven't had the pleasure to meet her and witness her high class humour" Jin spoke into the camera, later placing his eyes on his friend. "Don't you think, hyung-nim?"
"I have never laughed harder than with her, Seokjin-ssi" he replied immediately.
And then out of nowhere, Jin dug his hand in his pocket, throwing multiple heart shaped red papers that had everyone screaming in a second. "Love you, baby. Don't let anyone tell you you're not funny".
What's the saying? Kill 'em with kindness? Well, Seokjin had just slayed that poor guy's soul.
Tumblr media
Min Yoongi
"Hey, it's BTS!" the MC greeted cheerfully once the seven guys came on the shot.
One by one, they went up to her to give her a quick hug before they took their place standing next to her.
Up until then, everything was fine, and maybe things would've remained that way if she had just said nothing after Yoongi hugged her. Instead, she laughed, catching him off guard.
"At least you are polite" she shook her head in amusement.
Yoongi pouted naturally because of his confusion. "Who of us hasn't been polite?"
"Oh, no. Not you" she shook her head one more time, only to clarify: "Your girlfriend".
"Y/N-ssi?" Hobi was the one to ask on his hyung's behalf, being just as puzzled as everyone else by that statement.
At the nod of confirmation coming from the MC, Yoongi brought the microphone up to his lips. "But you've never even met her, where'd you get that from?"
"The video of her not even looking at the paps taking pictures... when you were at the airport the other day".
Yoongi's hold on the mic tightened, suddenly becoming protective of you. "So just because she's a private person she's impolite?"
"She didn't even acknowledge your fans. Come on, that was just very–"
"She's not an idol" he cut her off. "She doesn't have to put up with all of this, especially when she's not comfortable with all the attention".
"She should've known this would happen when she decided to date you".
"Guys…" Namjoon tried to stop both of them from arguing any further, for they had apparently forgotten they were still live.
But Yoongi was already done, slightly shaking his head before he put an end to it for once and for all: "She's given up enough for me already, I'm not asking her to be all bubbly around paps or our fans when she clearly isn't comfortable with it. If that's impolite to you then go off, I guess, but I'm the one dating her and I know better".
On to the next topic now.
Tumblr media
Jung Hoseok
"Hoseok!" the girl interviewing them read effusively on her phone.
They had been interviewed person by person that day, since a few influencers had gotten the chance to record short clips with BTS to upload to their social media. This one, so far, had been one of their favourites, for its dynamics consisted in nothing but the young woman going through her Twitter reading fan questions or just letting them know about cute comments they had made.
However, that was soon to change when she caught Hobi's attention, continuing: "I loved you in the concert last week, I got to meet Y/N and she was the cu– oh, irrelevant much?" she mumbled with a small, breathy laugh, before dismissing the topic and scrolling down in search of another tweet.
Hoseok's eyebrows knitted together. "Wha–"
"Oh, here's a good one" she smiled as if nothing had happened, as if she had not heard him; having the seven men exchange uncomfortable glances. "Jimin, you and your girlfriend are such couple goals, I can't w–"
"Um…" Hoseok cut her off, stealing a quick glance to Jimin, who looked just as out of it, before his eyes fell back on the girl's. "How come Jimin's girlfriend is worth talking of and mine isn't?"
"She's an idol" she answered as if it was evident.
His jaw tightened. "So people are only worthy when they're famous now?"
"Well, no..." she uselessly tried to fix it.
"Then I believe you should respect her enough not to call her irrelevant or skip comments at the mention of her".
"But there's nothing interesting about Y/N anyway, so…"
That was all Hobi needed to turn his head to look at his members before he shook his head in defeat. "We're done here, guys. I'm not listening to any more of this nonsense".
Neither were they, which is why they were all soon to follow your boyfriend out of there.
Tumblr media
Kim Namjoon
"So, Namjoon-ah" the entertainer's eyes focused on him, "I watched a few pictures of you at your girlfriend's graduation the other day" he smiled. "You guys looked so cute!"
A big smile spread over Joon's lips, recalling the pride he had felt that day because of you, being the happiest to have been able to be there for you.
"Aw, thank you" he said truthfully, his dimples making their appearance. "I'm really proud of her".
"You are?" the man asked.
Now, there were two ways to say those words. One with a genuinely intrigued tone, and one that was looking to offend. In this case, given not only his tone but also the way his eyebrows had raised in impression, it had been clear to everyone present that his intention had been the latter.
"I am" he stated simply, hoping that would be as much as the host would say about the topic before he moved on to the next one.
It was not.
"Don't you ever wish you were with someone more successful though?"
Namjoon's jaw tightened visibly, his eyes turning colder. "What does that even mean?"
"I'm just saying, you're Kim Namjoon" the man shifted on his seat. "Worldwide known idol, producer, rapper… whereas she's just… ordinary".
The way he had said that last word made it seem like being like that was the worst of things, and Namjoon did not like it one bit.
"Her achievements are just as important as mine" he was fast to talk in your defence. "Just because she isn't a part of the idol industry doesn't mean her dreams and passions are any less worthy of recognition than mine".
That alone had the interviewer apologising in a second, realising then how bad he had messed up. Because, in all honesty, Namjoon couldn't really care any less about you being famous or not – he would always be proud of you and your achievements no matter what.
Tumblr media
Park Jimin
"Ah, Park Jimin!" the host exclaimed after a picture of you had popped up on the screen in between them. "You really got lucky with this one, didn't you?"
That sure did bring a bright smile to his lips, for he absolutely lived for these moments, when people acknowledged how beautiful you were.
Nonetheless, that smile of his was soon erased when the same guy added: "You should control her more, though".
With that and a frown adorning your boyfriend's face, the picture previously displaying on the screen was gone and replaced with one of you in a night dress from two days ago instead.
"Control her more?" Jimin asked through gritted teeth.
"Yeah" he nodded his head. "She has a boyfriend now, she can't go around looking that hot, it might get the wrong attention".
Now, Jimin himself hadn't really liked it when you went out dressed like that, but he was your boyfriend, so he did have some kind of right to feel a little jealous of other guys thirsting over his girlfriend when she was out alone with her friends, didn't he?
This guy, however? Neither what he said was appropriate on so many levels, nor did he have the right to talk about you and your outfit like that.
"I think you should think before you speak and induce people to have unhealthy relationships" your boyfriend spoke in a low, calm voice.
Controlling you? What kind of bullshit was that?
"Come on now, I was joking" the man brushed it off with a laugh, and a very nervous one at that.
"Were you really?" Jimin raised one of his eyebrows, not believing a word. "Even if you were" he went on before the guy could open his mouth to reply, "you should maybe reflect on yourself and, instead of telling me how to treat my girlfriend because of how provocative she looks, think of why you, a guy who's over his forties, thinks that way of someone who could easily be his daughter".
He had not been rude. He had not raised his voice. Yet he did somehow manage to look so fucking scary to the man in front.
Tumblr media
Kim Taehyung
"Y/N?" the interviewer asked in disbelief, only to scoff after receiving a nod of confirmation from Tae. "Of course she'd end up with one of you guys".
Not only did Taehyung's eyebrows furrow in that moment, but so did everyone else's – his members exchanging dumbfounded looks as your boyfriend looked to the guy in front dead in the eye.
"One of us?"
"Mhm" the guy replied simply. "She always seems to be with whoever is the most famous at the moment, so..." he shrugged.
"She's only been with other two people?" Taehyung raised one of his eyebrows.
"Who just so happened to be the moment's sensation" he reminded him. "And now she's with you".
"You can't help who you fall for" your boyfriend's stare became colder by the second.
"She's just going to break things off with you as soon as your moment of fame passes".
That was it.
"Okay, no" his voice came out like pure venom. "If she broke up with them, it's merely because they were both complete assholes to her".
"Taehyung…" Namjoon discreetly squeezed his wrist from his side.
"No, hyung" he shook his head before fixing his enraged eyes back on the interviewer. "She's the sweetest person there is, it's not her fault us guys fall for her. And it's not her fault either to have dated guys who don't deserve her. She did well to dump them, and I know she won't leave me just because of my fame's status".
And then, as everyone in the room remained silent, being absolutely perplexed by such situation, he shook his head in disappointment once again at the sight of the guy's desperate attempt to come up with something else to say.
"You know" he beat him to it, "for such an overrated interviewer, you are so goddamn misinformed".
Good thing this would get bleeped out by the editors later, that if they ever wanted this to air at all.
Tumblr media
Jeon Jeongguk
"It's been a while since we last were together, hasn't it?" the host spoke after they had all sat down on the sofa placed in front of her. "A lot has happened since then…" a cheeky grin curved up her lips when her eyes fell on Jeongguk, "like the maknae finally getting himself a girlfriend?"
A shy bunny smile didn't wait to part Guk's lips, meanwhile his six hyungs started being chaotic like they, by this point, always were.
"He did" Namjoon was the one to answer for him, fondly patting his shoulder.
"Well, congratulations! It was about time you got someone" the woman said with a smile. "Though I must admit I never thought I'd see you with someone like her".
Your boyfriend's previous smile was replaced by slightly parted lips. "Someone like her?"
"I mean" the woman tried to get her point across, "you've said multiple times that IU is your ideal type, and Y/N's just…" she scrunched her nose in a displeased manner, "she's not exactly…"
Oh, no. There was no way in hell Jeongguk was letting her finish that sentence; the idea itself making him mad. That was the reason his shy side was long gone, being replaced by his protective one instead, which had quickly taken over him.
"She's stunning" Guk spoke in a low, determined voice. "IU is just a celebrity crush. Y/N's the woman I am in love with" he established without hesitation. "I really don't understand why you're bringing this up".
Although taken aback by Jeongguk's sudden way with his words, not having expected such outburst coming from the quietest member when it came to interviews, the woman went on:
"I'm just sayin–"
"No" Guk cut her off, shaking his head hastily, "you have nothing to say about my preferences, you don't get a say on us".
End of conversation.
Tagging game
ASDFGHJK Thank you so much @oftrickstersandmoose for tagging me and saying that about my blog!! That’s sooo sweet <333
I am going to do this thing, even though no one probably cares that much... Still, I will use this opportunity to tell everyone that reads this that THEY ARE AWESOME AND SIMPLY SOME ADORABLE CUTE LITTLE ANGELS ^-^
Nickname: Riri (no one actually calls me like that, but I found out it’s another abbreviation of my name so I love it =)) ) Gender: Fangirl (that’s it. That’s my gender. Forget about female, I am a fan-femme ❤︎)    Star Sign: Libra ^^ (the most indecisive person ever, I admit it)  Height: a bit more than 5ft 1′ I think? (I know, I know... I am literally a shrimp! But at least I get to stay in front of tall people and watch better everything XD) Time: time...time is irreversible.. the indefinite continued progress of existence and events in the past, present, and future regarded as a whole... But, yeah, it’s about midnight here, if that’s the question =)   Birthday: Oct 1st  ❤︎ Favourite Bands: *pulls out powerpoint project* Are you sure of this?? *brings pictures and merchandise* jk XD My favorite band EVER will forever be Fall out boy I love them SO much,my wonderful adorable obsession!! <333 I also love mcr (my babies asdfghjk), p!atd, bvb, Green Day, AC/DC, Def Leppard, Rolling stones, Led Zeppelin, Bon Jovi, Aerosmith, Skid Row, The Offspring, The Beatles, Journey, Metallica, Gnr, Whitesnake, Foreigner, Boston,CCR, Van Halen, BOC, Asia, lynyrd skynyrd, alice cooper, Eagles... The list can go on till tomorrow :)) Also, a special mentioning would be Abba and Modern Talking <333 and, of course, my second favorite band (I shamelessly admit I have 90 songs of them on my phone device), QUEEN XD Favourite Solo Artists: hard to choose, uggh... My favorite singer used to be Celine Dion, so... I also love Kylie Minogue, Michael Bolton, Cyndi Lauper, Bryan Adams, Barbra streisand, Amy Grant, Bob Dylan, Elvis, too many to think of right now... Could I add Richard too?? =)) (even though he always says he is NOT a musician, his voice is wonderful aaaahh *sighs*)  Song Stuck in My Head: “All star” by Smash Mouth! It’s kind of making me feel more confident though, but it’s annoyingly catchy... Oh and yeah, how could I forget about “anyway you want it” by Journey, it got stuck in my mind for a whole week, I am so glad I got over it  Last Movie I Watched: Forrest Gump =) (watched it today, I admit I have cried a lot to it, and now I have only southern accents stuck in my head heeelp) Last Show I Watched: Big Bang Theory <33 (I adore sitcoms) I was trying to see if I can get to watch more Star Trek on tv, but instead I saw this :) When did I create my blog?: umm...My main one, I think around October last year?? And this secondary little thing that made my life better, I think sometime in May :)) What do I post? Post or reblog?: Both? =)) I reblog brilliant posts and I write anything that comes into my mind about Gabe <3 Also, I just simply adore making photo edits, gifs and stuff like that with him, so... Last Thing I Googled: it’s actually “sunburnt” because I got one during hiking yesterday, so I needed to know how to treat it better XD (I am so glad I didn’t have to do this game earlier, when my last thing was “how to burn people”, I assure you I am not a psychopath hehhe... Even though it was annoying that google was showing results for “good comebacks”, not actually burning people alive...) Any other blogs?: Hells yeah. Not many though. My main one where I haven’t posted anything for six months, a side blog with nice book quotes and nature landscapes that finally turned into a fandom one (oops!!) and one with song lyrics where I make photo edits and post mostly fob and mcr lyrics because when I don’t find them on google I must make them by myself :D  But here I have most of my followers <33 Do you get asks?: Umm...Nope, never got one, only messages, but happily waiting for some =)  The Story Behind My Username: *coughs*......it was, my darlings, the summer of 2017 when me meets the other inner me and I’m like “yo, I know about music” and the other me is like “yo, I know more about music!! ”, “that’s impossible! Do you wanna start a side blog? We’ll call it after your new favorite song ever that makes your heart sing and melt in the same time because of the most adorable mellow sweet feathered golden angel, that small tiny muffin who ruined your life” and I was like “yeah that’s cool” and that’s it XD Actually, I came up with the idea of this blog when I realized how obsessed I was with Gabe and at 2 AM I was creating gifs just to post them here, and the only logical username that came in my mind was this, I just love the heat of the moment!!! <33 *starts humming while eating a candy bar and sobbing in a corner* Following: 155! ;D Followers: 563 AAAHHH MY BEAUTIFUL RAYS OF SUNSHINE I LOVE YOU ALL SO MUCH THANK YOU FOR BRIGHTENING MY LIFE EVERY TIME YOU PRESS THAT “follow” button I JUST WANT TO WRAP YOU ALL IN WARM BLANKETS  ❤︎ ❤︎ ❤︎ ❤︎ *hug attack to everyone who reads this* Favourite Color: GREEN! Grass green, cyclam, turquoise, that coral red-orange wonderful thing, blue violet, sunflower bright yellow (guess why ;)))... Average Hours of Sleep: probably eight hours. Sometimes 6, sometimes 11... Two weeks ago I slept only one hour, yesterday 12, so it depends XD Lucky Number: 111 <3 Not lucky, but favorite one I guess :)) But usually all my lucky numbers contain “1” so... I also love 21, dunno why Instruments: Fountain pen. JUST KIDDING! If it means musical instruments, I used to play piano and violin, but now I only know a bit to play the national anthem, that’s all... Currently I am into guitar, I have been trying for six months to learn how to play it from youtube tutorials, I can play couple of chords ;D What I’m wearing right now: whoa easy there, tagging game! (just a joke again, sorry ^-^) It’s actually only a dress with green and pink floral print because summer nights when you don’t want to go to sleep, just to stare at the stars, hum songs and spend time on tumblr, that’s why :) I just find dresses easier to wear when the heat outside overwhelms you How many blankets do I sleep with?: umm... Like now, during summer? Only a white sheet, it’s too hot (even though I sometimes want to go back to my warm blanket in case of monster night attacks). But on winter I can sleep with two wool blankets or even more... :)  Dream Job: Cardiothoracic Surgeon or any kind of doctor in general :)) It’s been my dream since I was two, I just love anatomy...<3 (probably I shouldn’t add my temporary dreams too, like becoming an actress, a Broadway singer, a detective or a novel writer and artist, should I?^^)  Dream Trip: aaah hard to say, but I think it would be a road trip in Arizona or any western desert part in general, while driving an old rusty convertible car (preferably an impala, of course), watching the ruby sun going down into the lakes painted on the azure sky and the stars sparkling brightly at night, feeling the freedom air and humming old rock songs (and singing “take it easy” when I get to Winslow, AZ :D)... Also, another dream trip would be in my favorite cities: NYC (to see Tiffany’s and Broadway :)), Paris (mainly the opera house and get to sing “bonjour Paris” like in Funny Face) and Rome (driving  a scouter or riding a vintage bike on the old streets, while picking ruby geraniums and singing Dean Martin songs aahh). Also, a trip to provence where I can dance through the lavender fields, the Alpes with warm small cottages or Greece would be wonderful (as long as I can admire the landscapes and the local culture with not so many people around... ^^) Favourite Food: grilled chicken with french fries and any kind of dessert (chocolate especially)<33 Also a bunch of sour soups, pasta, fish, meat, pizza and hamburgers, jam with butter and honey, cereals with milk, bacon and eggs, meatballs, chicken soup with dumplings, boiled potatoes with butter and parsley, pancakes, and this list could go on and on.... (now I got hungry ugh...) Nationality: Romanian :) (this should explain the “sour soup” thing)  Favourite Song Right Now: umm...*trying to make up my mind while sweating nervously* Probably still the heat of the moment, or Tiffany Blews by fob... But right now, I mean really RIGHT NOW, I think it would be “don’t stop believing” it’s so uplifting and purely...gorgeous :)
Sorry for the long post, in real life I never speak up, yet, here, I am a chatter box oops >.<
Now, the ceremony of tagging people! *drums beating*... Aaaand the nominees are....LEONARDO DiCAPRIO!! (SOORY just a silly joke ^^) Now, for real, I am tagging :  @scarlettwinchester23  ( ❤︎ ❤︎ ❤︎ ) , @sabriel-fanboy-83, @akhuna01, @hunters-hiraeth, @tricksterxangel, @lisiblack, @chaotictrickster, @quaker-wtf-lass and any other cinnamon roll that wants to do this, but I know you won’t do it unless I tag you, so, here you are : @that-sweet-person-who-read-my-ramblings-and-wants-to-do-this-game-too  ❤︎  You have been officially tagged ;)
I love you all so much!! <3
[chapter 4 ||| chapter 6]
„Is he going to be okay, Hope?” Jungkook whispered, tears still spilling out of his eyes, as he watched his brothers injured upper body lying on the couch in Hope’s apartment.
Once the trio had arrived there, the girl immediately had taken off Jin’s shirt and tried to medicate his injuries. He had several bruises along his ribcage. Hope palpated over them, and finally came to the decision that luckily, that he had no inner bruises or broken bones.
But his scratched were another thing. Some were already starting to heal, but others were deep and looked infected. The girl carefully cleaned them all up with a wet clothe. Every time the wet fabric made contact with the open flesh, she would feel his muscles twitching under her touch. He must feel so much pain. When she was done, she opened her fits aid kid and covered all the deeper cuts up with fresh bandages, so they would catch other infections.
She soaked the cloth again with water, and drove it over the sleeping boy’s face, whipping off all the dust, sweat and dirt. Beside the scratches and bruises, Jin had a really beautiful face. With his plump lips slightly parted, and his deep brown eyes closed, he truly looked like a sleeping beauty.
“Yes, Kookie.” She sighed, as she threw her dirty cloth away. “He is going to be okay. We will keep an eyes on his injured so they won’t get infected again.”
She stood up from the ground, taking all the used supplied with her into the kitchen, where she disposed them in the trash can. For a short moment, she closed her eyes and leant forward onto the counter edge, trying to process the day.
Who could have told her almost three weeks ago, that her world would turn upside down from one second to another?
Studying law, she had read many cases from abused and misused Hybrids. She had read them back and forth, up and down, trying to imagine their how they must feel. But nothing she had read could compare with reality.
Reality had hit her hard since she had seen the real suffering in this world. In the past, she wanted to stand up for Hybrid law, because she thought that they were disadvantaged in this society. But now, now she wanted to stand up for them, because they were suffering in this society. Suffering from the species that called themselves human.
But right now, she could do nothing but being there for those two Hybrids. She had no other choice. She turned around and wated to go back into the living room, when the scenario she saw made her stop in her tracks.
Jin was still lying peacefully on the couch, his chest was rhythmically falling up and down. Jungkook kneeled in front of the couch, so he could be at the same level as the sleeping boy. His hand was still holding Jin’s, as he had pushed himself further up, with his head buried into the creak of Jin’s neck and shoulder. He was slowly moving and rubbing his head along the sensitive skin, spreading his scent all over his brother.
Among Hybrids, scenting was one of the most intimate ways of showing his affection to one another.
The girl stayed silence in the kitchen, just watching how carefully and lovely Jungkook was threatening his brother. She absolutely didn’t want to ruin that moment between those two.
Tumblr media
Jungkook spent the whole evening running around the apartment, making sure that Jin was okay. He got him some more blankets to cover his shaking body, pillows to make sure that he head was stable, he made him warm tea, that we always ended up drinking himself, because Jin was still sleeping.
It took the girl much to convince him to at least leave the couch and eat dinner with her at the table, but when his stomach growled loudly, he eventually showed insight and left the sofa.
“Jungkook, he is fine. “ He ripped his gaze away from his brother on the couch. “Come on, I bet Jin would want you to eat your food.”
Jungkook sighed loudly, ears hanging weakly at the side of his head. How could he eat peacefully, when he knew that his brother went through hell and back since his escape. If he just had stayed there, with is old owners, Jin would have never been treatened so badly. But he also would have never met Hope.
He looked up from his plate, just to see the girl looking at him worriedly. She seemed to be often concerned about him. He saw the way she would ask him if he was okay, or how she would tell him to eat enough when he said he wasn’t hungry, or how she would cry and try to conform him the night he broke down.
He didn’t mind though. Never, in his life someone had been worried about him. She gave him anything: a bed to sleep, foot to eat and just a place to feel safe and….home. Even though he had only known her for a little more than three weeks, he felt like this was the place where he belonged.
But even though he was happy she allowed him to live with her, there was also this other voice in his mind. The voice that always reminded him that he was only a guest in her house. And every guest had to leave at some point.
A shiver ran down his spine. He feared the day she would come to him and tell him that he and Jin had to leave. Where would they go? Would they have to go back to their old owners?
No, they were not their old owners. They still were their owners. And this meant that they would have to go back to them. He would never lay in his soft bed again. He would never read in his favourite book again, the one with this little daws and Hobbits. He would never look at the photo wall again, wishing that there was a phot of him and the girl, too.
“What is going on in your pretty little head?” Hope had carefully laid her hand on top of his, a small smirk played on her lips. “I can see your mind racing.”
“I just –“ He wanted to tell her his concerns, but he decided against it. Today was not the day he wanted to hear that they had to leave. “I just – thought about that Jin might be hungry. He looks pretty thin.”
“But he is asleep right now.” She squeezed his hands a little bit. “But as soon as he wakes up, he can eat as much as he wants, okay?”
The Hybrid forced out a small smile and nodded his head. He would just try to enjoy the time that he had left.
After dinner, Jungkook had gone straight back to the couch, curling up beside his brother. Not once this day had done anything else, besides lying next to Jin and waiting for him to wake up. It was cute to watch though. Jungkook had a big heart, and the girl knew that he wished for nothing more than to just get the love back he gave to others.
Earlier, when the witch had told her, that they had given Jungkook up for adoption, Hope had felt a giant stone falling from her heart. She had feared that they would still be looking for him, wanting him back at all it costs.
But with he being free to be adopted, she could sign his papers while re-registering Jin. Even though she had his papers and deed of ownership, she needed to report her adoption to an authority. But she wanted to wait for Jin to fully wake up before she would do so. After all, she didn’t know if he or Jungkook even wanted to be adopted again.
She couldn’t offer them a luxury life. She would first had to make herself a name in the lawyer business, which will take a lot of time, because Hybrid lawyer often don’t get much appreciation. But don’t matter what the both of them will decide, she would have to accept their wishes, even though it would break her heart.
With the bunny Hybrid in her apartment, it was the first time in years that she felt truly happy again. Since her mother had died and her friend moving away for college, she had felt alone in her life. There had been no one to wait for her until she came home from college or work, or someone with whom she could talk at the dinner table.
She truly enjoyed the time with the Hybrid.
She sighed, as she looked over to the sofa, where Jungkook was still curled up next to Jin, reading his favourite book. She smiled when she thought about his fascination with the Hobbits. He had found that book a few weeks ago, while scanning through her book shelf.
He had told her every day what happened in the book, and though she knew the plot of the book back and forth, she listened to everything he told her. Once he had been done with reading through the book, he just read it from the start again, not even thinking about tying another one.
“I think I will go to bed earlier. “ She said, as she made her way over to the sofa, holding a mug with Jungkook’s favourite tea in her hands. “I am pretty tired.”
The bunny looked up from his book. He watched her putting the mug on front of him at the small table, before she took a seat next to him at the sofa.
“Can I – “ Jungkook hesitated for a moment, before he began to speak again. “Can I sleep on the sofa tonight with Jin Hyung. I don’t want to let him alone. What if he wakes up and don’t knows where he is. Or if he –“
“Jungkook.” The girl stopped him, smiling slightly. “Of course you can sleep here. Shall I get your blanket and pillow?”
He quickly nodded, as a small shade of red began to spread over his cheeks. Hope stood up and walked over into his room. Jungkook was a very tidy and organized Hybrid. He made his bed every morning, every piece of clothes in his drawer was exactly folded and stacked up and he even had managed to organize her storage room, the so called ‘Chamber of secrets’, which she had failed to clean up for several years.
(Do you know on which scene from TBBT I am referring to? I love it :D)
She made her way over to the bed, carefully taking the blanket and pillow into her arms, trying to not carry it to close to her body, so her scent wouldn’t be all over it. A smile played on her lips, as she remembered the day when Jungkook insisted on washing Brian’s clothes, because he didn’t like to smell another male on his clothes.
When she turned around to go back to the living room, her eyes caught something on the Hybrid’s desk. Next to desk lamp laid the notebook she gave to Jungkook a few weeks ago. It wasn’t closed like, the open page pointing upwards.
She didn’t want to invite his privacy, but when she saw the sketched lines from the distance, she got curious. She often had wondered whether he was writing or sketching in there, when she watched his hands sliding wildly over the pages.
Hope took a few steps closer, looking back at the door to make sure Jungkook wouldn’t catch her looking at his private things. When she bent over the small back, her heart skipped a beat.
Jungkook had indeed sketched something. The lines were soft and accurate, taking all the space the page could offer. The picture had been drawing from the perspective when sitting at the dining table, the place where the bunny sometimes sat while she worked on her computer.
In the background, she recognized her kitchen, with the white fridge and the small hatch, and in the font ground she saw herself sitting. She was amazed by the precision he had drawn her hair falling over her shoulder and the feature of her face looking concentrated at the laptop in front of her.
Next to the her in the picture, he had written 4 capital letters. The letters were messy and scrawly, but she could read them without problems: 卄口ㄗモ
The girl’s heart swell with love. He had drawn her into his notebook, the place where he kept the deepest thoughts of his mind.
With the proudest smile on her face, she made her way back into the living room. She carefully placed the blanket over and pillow next to Jungkook, before she made her way over to Jin one last time, checking if he was okay.
When she was sure that everything was fine, she made her way over to the front door to turn off the great light in the room. The small lamp next to the TV was now the only source diving the room with cosy and warm light, just enough that Jungkook could still read his book.
“Good night Jungkook. Don’t read too long, you need your sleep.” She walked up behind him and bent down.
With her all braveness bundled, she pressed a short kiss on the top of his fluffy hair, before bending back up. Luckily, the room was dark enough to hide her reddening cheeks, as Jungkook looked up. He closed his small book, laying it to the side.
“Thank you for saving my brother.” He whispered, as he took her hands in his bigger one, squeezing them slightly.
“Anytime.“
When she woke up the next morning, the flat was unusually quiet. Normally, she was woken up by the dull tones of Jungkook’s boxing gloves hitting his punching bag. He would always wake up before her, already finishing his morning workout. She wondered every day, where he took his motivation from, but she didn’t mind though.
She changed into comfortable clothes, and carefully made her way up into the living room, trying to be as quiet as possible, in cases both Hybrids were still sleeping on the sofa. She tippy-toed through the hallway and peeked around the corner.
Jungkook was sprawled out on his back. He had his legs spread, and he blanket was only covering half his body, making his left leg stick out and hanging loosely off of the sofa. With his arms lying beside his head to either side, and his mouth slightly parted, and ears laying loosely on the sofa, he looked like someone had shot him.
Hope smiled at this scene in front of her, slightly shaking her head. It was nice to see how safe and comfortable he felt around here. She moved her gaze away from the bunny, and looked over to the other Hybrid lying on her couch. To her surprise, her eyes met big, brown orbs looking back at her.
“Good morning, Jin.” She said softly, as she went around the corner.
She tried to make her voice as smooth and warm as possible, showing him that she didn’t want to put any harm on him or Jungkook, after all, he didn’t know how happy Jungkook had been over the last weeks.
Jin, however, didn’t reply. His ears were pressed flat against his head, as he kept looking sceptically at the girl, before his gaze fell onto his naked upper body, that was half covered by a blanket.
“We had to take your shirt of yesterday.” The girl quickly said, knowing exactly what was going on in his head. “You have some pretty infected injures. I just wanted to wrap them up. I hope this was okay?”
He hesitated at first, but eventually nodded as a small shade of red covered his cheeks. He pulled the blanket, that had slide down his torso, up a little bit higher. It was obviously embarrassing for him to lay half naked on her couch.
“I think Jungkook wouldn’t mind borrowing you one of his shirts.” She quickly said. “I will get one for you.”
She turned around and got the shirt from Jungkook’s drawer, before going back and giving it to Jin. He carefully reached out and took the piece of hands out of her hands.
“I will just go and make some breakfast.” She was about to leave, before something came into her mind. “You can try waking up Jungkook. He wouldn’t want to miss eating his flakes.”
She made her way into the kitchen and started to prepare the breakfast as she always did each morning. Sometimes, she would hear some deep voices coming from the living room. Jungkook seemed to be awake by now.
“Kook, is it really safe here?” She heard Jin asking, as she was about to get the milk out of the fridge.
“It is, Hyung. Hope is the nicest girl in the world. She even gave me my own room and…” He kept rambling about the most normal things in the world, which made the girl even sadder. He shouldn’t be this exited to have his own bed to sleep in. She sighed and turned her attention back to the fried egg in the pan, before she heard Jungkook’s cracking voice“…I – I really missed you, Hyung. I thought that – that they – “
“Shh. It’s okay, Kook.” Jin whispered back. “I only wanted you to be safe.”
Hope gulped in the kitchen. She knew how much it hurt to loose someone you love. But she didn’t want to imagine how it must feel to not know if someone you love is dead or barely alive and tortured to death.
She waited another 5 minutes, making sure that she would not interrupt the moment, before she carried the pan into the dining room. Jungkook was just pulling away from hugging Jin , before he stood up and stretched his arms into the air, as well as his ears.
“Did you sleep well, Kookie?” The girl asked amused, as she pulled her chair back and took a seat.
Jungkook helped Jin up from the sofa, and led him the way over to the table by holding his hand. He pulled himself his chair back and sat down as well, gesturing for Jin to sat down, too.
“It’s okay.” The bunny said, as he saw Jin’s hesitation. “You can sit down and eat with us.”
Jin’s eyes flicked from Jungkook over to the girl, waiting for her to give him permission. Hope smiled softly at him, as she placed her mug back down and nodded at the standing boy. Jin hesitated again, before he carefully took a seat beside Jungkook, eyes never left the girl to make sure he didn’t do anything wrong.
“Do you want to try those flakes?” Jungkook held his bowl directly under Jin’s nose.
The older boy was clearly overwhelmed by the whole situation. His ears kept wildly twitching around, as he sniffed at the bowl, looking confused and scared at the same time.
“No.” He whispered, sinking his head down.
“But you must be hungry, Hyung!” Jungkook had placed his bowl back down in front of himself.
He was asking Jin all over again if he wanted to eat something and why he refused to eat something, but Jin just shook his head every time.
“Jungkook, don’t force him to eat something.” Jungkook dropped his ears but nodded, turning his attention to his own bowl, while the girl spoke now into Jin’s direction. “Jin, you don’t have to eat something if you don’t want to, but you are free to eat whenever and whatever you like. You don’t need to ask for my permission either. Just – do what makes you happy.”
Jin looked at her with wide eyes, still trying to figure out if she was serious or not. He nodded shyly, before he looked at the munching bunny next to him. Jungkook smiled with his mouth closed, before reaching over towards his orange juice. He lifted the glass and gestured for Jin to take it.
Jin’s eyes flicked towards the girl once again, but she avoid his gaze on purpose, pretending to be busy with her toast. With the slowest movement, Jin reached out for the glass, taking it out of Jungkook’s hand. He looked at it, before placing it on his lips.
While he drank, his eyes kept flickering between his brother and the girl, watching every movement form both of them closely. After his glass was empty, he carefully sat it back down on the table. Though he kept his gaze down, Hope saw his eyes flickering over to slices of bread lying in the small basket.
“You can take the bread, Jin.” As soon as she spoke his head shot up, as if he was caught doing something bad. “There is more than enough for the three of us.”
Jungkook confirmed her offer with a quick nod, and eventually, Jin reached his hand out to take a slice of bread. Though he refused to put something onto his bread, Hope was glad he eat something after all.
Breakfast went over without any other incidents. Jin kept munching at his bread, while the girl carefully introduced herself, telling him about her life like she did when she met Jungkook. Jin didn’t reply, he nodded from time to time, but stayed silent.
The only time he actually responded, was when she mentored how she had found Jungkook and taken him in. His ears dropped down onto his head.
“Thank you for saving Jungkook.” He had whispered, before bowing his head slightly.
Once they were done eating, Hope told Jungkook to give Jin a small tour while she would do the dishes. The bunny was more than eager to show his older brother everything in the house. He grabbed his hand and pulled him away from the table.
Hope watched with shaking head, as Jungkook dragged the confused boy into his own room, where she could hear him rambling nonstop about every little detail.
She turned her attention back towards the dishes in the sink. Later that say, she would have to call the authority, to make an appointment for re-registering Jin and signing Jungkook’s adopting papers, of course only if both of them will agree.
She didn’t want to bring the topic up this early. Jin had been here for not even one day. It would be hard for him to decide if he wanted to stay or not, and Jungkook would probably make the same decision as his brother, because he didn’t want to be separated from him again.
This meant she would set the appointment in about 1 week. Hopefully, this would be enough time for Jin to at least trust her enough.
“….And this is the photo wall.” She turned around and looked at Jungkook, who was still holding Jin’s hand. “This is my favourite wall of the entire apartment. I look at the photos every morning or when I am bored….”
She watched as she took a step closer, looking interested at the different photos. Hope honestly didn’t know why Jungkook was so fascinated about the photos hanging on the wall. Sometimes, she would watch him how he sat in front of that wall for over 30 minutes, just staring at the photos.
It was adorable thought. The picture surprise for his birthday was a good idea.
“….And this is Hope at her graduation party. Look, she was one of the best students in her year. She is so smart. And this is Hope and her mom at her mom’s birthday. But her mom died a few years ago. Hope is very sad about this, because she said her mom was the best mom in the world. And this are Hope’s friends from High School…..” Jungkook kept rambling about every single picture, talking about them as if they were the most precious things in the world.
Jin was still staring at the pictures, giving Hope the chance to watch his profile. He was as tall as Jungkook, but definitely slimmer than him. He had shaggy brown hair, that fell smoothly over his forehead. At the top of his head set a pair of fluffy, black, brown and white ears, that twitched back and forth.
It was just now, that the girl actually saw Jin’s tail. Since he was a Leopard, his tail was much longer. It reached about the almost the middle of his calves. It was covered with fluffy fur and black stripes all over.
She broke her staring when she noticed Jungkook finishing his monologue, not wanting to make her new guest uncomfortable.
“Hope!” Jungkook came running up excitingly at the girl when he saw her standing in the doorway of the kitchen. Where did this boy take his energy from all the time? “Jin-Hyung likes my room very much. I thought that he might can share my room with me?”
Hope wasn’t surprise by this question. She could tell that both of them were really close, even if she hadn’t known both for long.
“I – ehm – I can also sleep on the fl – “ Jin’s cheeks were covered in red, as he stuttered about sleeping on the floor.
“It’s okay, Jin.” The girl quickly interrupted him. “You can sleep wherever you want to sleep. If you want to share a room with Jungkook, that’s fine by me. There are also 2 more empty bedrooms, so if you change your mind, you can also sleep in there. It’s your choice.”
“Please, share a room with me, yeah?” Jungkook was squeezing and tugging Jin’s hand, begging him to sleep in his room.
“Okay, I – I will share.”
