summary: trent loves that you and jude get along, but he wants to make sure he still holds the #1 spot in your heart [wc: 1k]

req: request for a fluffy trent fic: jude is always over at trent & reader’s house, eating their food, bringing his friends over, begging to join them on outings etc. and generally acting like their kid. so ofc reader & jude are close, he goes to her advice, they tease trent togeth etc. and trent is jealous that jude gets long w his girl so we’ll but not actually jealous, more in a pouty whiny way, cos he knows jude is like a little bro to her

The warmth of your home protected you from October's cold. Trent had planned to spend the day snuggled in bed watching spooky movies and baking Halloween cookies with you.

Well, that was the plan until Jude passed your door. Trent wouldn't be able to say one bad thing about Jude even if he tried, he'd been there for him during tough times. No matter how hard you tried to empathize with Trent, Jude was probably the one friend who could understand his struggles surrounding football the most. Very quickly the pair grew close, almost family-like, and Jude would come over yours, often. You didn't mind, how could you? Jude was nothing short of lovely, he was a funny guy to be around and probably your boyfriend's favourite friend.

But you didn't expect him to crash one of the rare free days you got to spend with Trent. And neither did Trent, from the way his eyes widened when he opened the door to a smiley Jude. Your favourite Disney soundtracks were still blasting in the kitchen while you were mixing your cookie batter.

“Oh, are you cooking these for me?” Jude's voice made you turn around to see him standing in your kitchen with a big smile, your boyfriend trailing behind him.

“Depends, do you have good news to give me?” Trent's face contorted in confusion but Jude totally understood what you meant by the giggle he let out.

“I'll tell you all about it if those cookies are worth it.”

He recently came up to you for advice on how he should ask the girl he liked out. The fact Jude trusted you enough to share this with you made you happy, talking to him was like talking to a younger brother.

Trent knew about the girl his friend fancied of course, but he was absolutely clueless about him asking you for advice. Hearing you two talk so casually, made him feel left out. He knew how stupid this sounded, you were his girlfriend and Jude one of his best mates, but he couldn't help but feel his stomach churn from your closeness.

Trent wasn't jealous. He trusted you and Jude with his life. But he couldn't help feeling his friend was stealing the precious time he could have spend with his girlfriend, and he felt awful about this.

You were your own person, and he was very much aware of that, but he couldn't help spiralling. What if Jude was better company than him? What if he made you laugh in ways he couldn't?

His thoughts came to a halt when you pressed a quick kiss near his lips, “These should be done in 30 minutes, are you alright T? You look a bit off.” The concerned look in your eyes made him forget everything, his hand found yours to press a kiss on it.

“I'm fine baby, don't worry about it.” No matter how much Trent tried to reassure you, you knew something was off with him and made a mental note to ask him about it when you would be alone.

After many Fifa games between Jude and your boyfriend and six chapters of your books read, the cookies were ready. The three of you sat down and you intently watched their reactions to your baking, knowing damn well neither of them would be able to hide their real thoughts.

“These are very good love.” Your boyfriend complimented with his mouth half full while Jude stuck out his thumb up.

“So... Are you gonna tell me what happened with Mia?” A frown appeared on Trent's face again at your words.

“What's even all that about?” He tried his best to hide any animosity in his voice but it didn't work from the way Jude and you looked at him with wide eyes.

“I asked your girl for advice to ask Mia on a date, nothing more mate.” You could tell Jude was being cautious with his words, fearing his friend would get the wrong idea.

Trent ran his hand on his face, “I know. This is stupid, sorry.”

You stayed silent and went to the kitchen telling the boys you had to clean it up to cover the fact you wanted to flee this weird atmosphere.

You stayed a while looking at your phone, and when you looked up you saw Jude and Trent in front of your front door talking together, your boyfriend's hand laying on Jude's shoulder before pulling him in a hug.

The younger boy noticed you staring, and winked at you with both his eyes before whispering something to Trent's ear, something that made him turn around to look at you with a smile. You quickly turned around pretending to be interested in something else to hide the fact you were caught red-handed pretty much spying on them.

When the door finally closed, Trent's hands found your waist and spun you around. You started speaking before he could try to himself. “I'm sorry for not telling you I was speaking with Jude, but I swea-”, Trent's lips on yours cut you off, you felt your shoulders relax from this action.

“No, I am sorry. This was stupid, I just really wanted to spend the day with you, only you, I mean. I actually love the fact that you get along with Jude, but I just don't want you to like his company better than mine y’know.” His words relieved you, your pointer finger booped his nose as he let a giggle escape his lips.

“Trent, don't be silly. I love hanging out with Jude but if I could, I would spend every single minute of my life with you. Now... should we start watching The Prisoner of Azkaban?”

Trent led you to your shared bedroom, fingers intertwined to snuggle under the sheets. The both of you perfectly content and satisfied with each other's company.

Assuming you mean the other iterations of Raph? So! Cracks knuckles here we go-

First of all I really enjoy 90s Raph, just the fact? His ass keeps getting into trouble? Like first movie he’s thrown through a window, second movie he gets kidnapped by the Foot, this boy is accident prone and I love it AHA also his accent is super fun. I wouldn’t rank him tooo highly on a list of favourites? 90s!Donnie is my favourite live action turtle overall, but he’s great! And if you add on 07 as the fourth movie for this version of turtles he’s awesome, I fucking love the concept of the nightwatcher!!! And his dynamic with Casey in that movie might be my favourite version of the duo, good Raph all around pats his head

Feel like I should also add on my thoughts about Next Mutation Raph here too while on the topic of like-the live action turtles, but I honestly don’t have much to say yet AHA, I’ve only seen like four episodes so far and I think Venus is the only character I really like from it (she’s so lovely,,,my sweet daughter,,) OH also! Adding on again with live action, I think the fact that Raph is one of the singers for the stageshow tours is fucking brilliant AHA, something about him being musical inclined just feels right for me (maybe because 87!Raphael loves singing all the time so seeing other iterations do it makes me happy? Who is to say) also the suit designs are just really cute I love their goofy accessories

03! 03! I LOVE 03! One of the lamest Raph’s but that just endears him even more to me, his lines are just so. Cheesy and uncool, and they’re delivered with the gruffest thickest accent ever, it’s perfect. He’s also just such a good brother, he can be so patient and supportive, 03 has such a well rounded team man. Like the bonds are so strongggg, you really feel such a connection between all the turtles. Like I adore his back and forth with Mikey, him and Donnie’s dynamic I feel like I don’t even need to talk about and him and Leo are so sweeeeet. Oh! Also! Love how Fast Forward made him the tallest, it’s perfect boy had a growth spurt. (Oh, also I hope this isn’t cheating by bringing up 87, but I love the dynamic Turtles Forever gave him with the 87 turtles. Could it have been written better? Yes. But is the concept of him slowly warming up to them and acting like their older brother adorable? Also yes.)

I think if I’m going in release order IDW is next? In which case, YEAHHH THIS GUY! The idea that he briefly was alone after being first mutated is so fascinating, I like how it puts a new lens on his loner habits, he’s also just super caring and ah! Good Raph! Him and Pepperoni are adorable and I like how he was the one to reach out to Mikey when like-that whole situation was happening. I have more thoughts but ajshajshsjshajhs ya know-

2012 Raph is like one of my favourites, I think just the fact he’s so sweet and gentle sometimes is just really endearing, he’s the Disney princess Raph! Look at those Rapunzel green eyes, I love it. He’s also just so fucking funny, his dialogue is dripping with sarcasm he’s got quips and it’s great. Plus his dynamic with Splinteeeeeerrr was so fucked gahhhhI just love this little guy man! He’s a good little guy! Like usual I struggle to put my thoughts about 2012 turtles into words I just want to shake them around like dog toys instead

Okay so I haven’t actually seen the first Bayverse movie yet, but I really like Raph in the second! He’s fun! I really enjoyed how him and Mikey are a duo almost, they’re both team purple ooze and that was super fun. I kinda really wish Bayverse had it’s own spin-off cartoon to expand more, I think Out of the Shadows had some strong concepts and it just tripped over itself a lot AHA, oh! Also since this is kinda short, on the topic of movies I enjoyed Batman VS TMNT Raph a lot too, that scene where he talks down Batman and talks about family? Like that sold him for me, both good movie boys

I think Rise making Raph the big brother is amazing, it’s so cool to see things shaken up and his portrayal in the show really does make sense. He’s still recognisable as Raph, but we get to see how a character we love can be shaped differently by new circumstances. All Raph’s have that natural protector role but now we see how him being the ‘Leo’ would impact that-also that aside he’s just a super sweet Raph! I love how he’s still playful while trying so hard to get his brothers to work as a team, I wish we had more episodes where he tries to get them to do stupid training exercises. There’s just something so earnest about this version, you gotta love him

Mutant Mayhem Raph surprised me! If I’m honest, while I don’t find anything wrong with more violent and angry leaning Raphs they’re definitely not the iterations I personally lean to the most? 87!Raphael is my favourite so that’s probably a given AHA, but like this boy completely knocked it out of the park. I love how smug he is, this boy is honestly just happy to be here and he got quite a few laughs out of me. He’s a very well balanced mix of what has come before honestly, I’m super excited to see him in depth in the future. AND HIS WHOLE DYNAMIC WITH HIS BROS IS JUST SO CUTEEEEEE OKAY IM DONE AUSHAJAH

a/n: {find part 1 here} ty for asking, hope you like these follow up ones :’)! it just occurred to me that some people have followed me for stuff for specific people so if you’d like to be tagged in all fics/headcanons for corpse (or anybody else) just let me know! <3 once again, these assume y/n’s mother isn’t involved because single papa corpse owns my heart :’)

warnings: swearing, references to insomia, chronic illnesses, food, very tiny tangent about squid game (no spoilers/violence, just used like one sentence gi-hun’s ex-wife said as an example for something), possibly (probably) rambling

corpse would 1000000% get a tattoo that relates to you in some way. wait imagine if he got a small tattoo of your favourite stuffed animal/toy as a kid which still holds a special place in your gear as an adult. like do you still drag it everywhere you go? probably not, but are they the only stuffie that still has bed privileges? yes. do you still hug them after a bad day? yes. and corpse has to immortalise that because 1) it’s precious and 2) he’d miss his bub. and if you wanted to he’s totally be down to get matching tattoos.

if you haven’t been blessed with this mental image, allow me: corpse husband aka ultimate e-boy aka mr choke me like you hate me, in a beautiful pink tutu, maybe some fairy wings and a tiara, sat a table way too small for him, surrounded by a dozen stuffies.

he’d probably give you a very basic, general rundown/explanation of chronic illnesses - like y’know when disney tries to teach kids something serious and they use metaphors/fairly simple terms? (i’m imagining reader is like a toddler) he’d do something like that so if he had a flare up or something, you wouldn’t get scared or panicked and if he said he couldn’t play with you one day, you’d be far less likely to throw a tantrum.

midnight feasts, midnight movie marathons, midnight everything if you wake up from a nightmare/just aren’t tired? yes. just yes. he has difficulty sleeping most of the time so it wouldn’t be like your fault - like y’know typically if you woke someone up (they might not say it but) they’d probably be like “i just want to sleep, please :’(”. especially if we’re taking about an energetic lil demon bean, which we are. anyways, what i’m trying to say is, ‘cos corpse struggles with sleeping anyway, it wouldn’t be that big of a deal :).

the fridge would be covered and i mean COVERED with your drawings/paintings/etc. there would probably be a couple that were a joint effort - maybe there’d be a finger painting with both of your prints. or one with your tiny handprint next next to his??? stopppp. this actually isn’t fair.

he’d probably have a lil picture of you or maybe a lil gift from you (like maybe you found a stone you thought was pretty at the park or something and gave it to him 🥺) incorporated in his gaming setup.

imagine the hand pics with the stone. omg proud, grateful papa. you know they’d have the cheesiest captions ever too, because he’d be a dad and there’s a brand to follow. duh. imagine corpse’s dad jokes-

you’d probably have a ‘just in case’ bag prepared in case he had to be hospitalised. you’d have packed it together so anything and everything you thought was important, even a bunch of sticker sheets, was put in. i’d riot if there wasn’t a plushie that’d been sprayed w/ his cologne to help w/ missing him. and it’d be a fuckin’ amogus plushie. bye.

he’d probably move into a bigger place w/ a garden and you best believe he’d go all out and spend way too much money turning the garden into a mini park to compensate for the lack of park trips. private park is better anyway, no need to share :).

y’know when kids find out their parents actually have names that aren’t just “mummy” - ssh i’m british/“daddy”/etc? imagine thinking his name was actually corpse husband for a while, like at least a couple of months for funsies. ok so i know i said you’d be homeschooled and i still stand by that but just imagine this ok; idk about y’all but when i was little, like 7ish maybe, our teachers made us write the envelope for our school reports so just imagine you addressing it to corpse husband and the teacher is like “huh?????” (i feel like it’d be funnier if they had no clue who corpse was). they’d definitely talk about that in the staff room at lunch. and you get really defensive about it so they don’t change it and you take it home and corpse is like a mix of 🤨 and 🥹 “thank you, sweetheart”. wheezes for like an hour straight. low-key starts stressing out about that revealing his identity - wait noOoOoOOO. totally shows rae, karl, tina and sykkuno. posts a picture of it on twitter w/ the address covered obviously.

swearing would be allowed once he considered you ‘old enough’ so like mid-late teens.

some qualities (positive + negative because corpse is human even though he’d still be the perfect papa) i think you could exhibit due to his parenting w/ brief reasons: independence + self sufficiency - any symptom flare ups (as discussed earlier), massive empathy - corpse seems to have a massive empathy as is + unsurprisingly children of individuals w/ chronic illnesses tend to be more empathetic, self awareness - sort of the same thing, i imagine corpse is pretty self aware. i don’t think you’d be the best conversationalist but you also wouldn’t be the worst - socialising mostly with corpse and the amigops due to homeschooling/etc.

if there were to ever be a successful real-life example of the ‘spoilt sweet’ trope, it’d be you.

another image for your head: corpse crouching by your bed, chin on the mattress, (y’know that pose?? i don’t really know how to describe it welp) as he gently shakes you awake. ft. a mandatory boop on the nose, of course.

y’know some parents are like “ew, no, they’ll make a habit out of it” cough cough ga-yeong’s mother in squid game - side note, i’m sorry but that pissed me off so much. she was sleeping, he was going to carry her one time. a habit isn’t going to form because of one time >:(. aNyWaYs corpse couldn’t care less about that, you could totally make a habit out of (mostly) anything. if you feel safer sleeping in his bed, fine. if you want a hug, fine. if you want to be carried, fine.

you’d always be (mostly) in charge of the day’s itinerary like obviously if there was an appointment or corpse had some errands, those wouldn’t be cancelled but for the most part it’d be up to you. even with homeschooling stuff, he’d let you pick what order to do things in etc.

i saw this tiktok about how these parents dealt w/ their kids tantrums and they’d basically made the kid his own little space with some activities (i think, at least partially, based on morals? i don’t remember exactly) and a lot of sensory based items like colourful lights etc and the idea was that when the kid was upset, they could go there to like reflect and calm down instead of just sitting angrily on the stairs, staring at a blank wall. i feel like corpse’s parenting would give off those vibes (like just very wholesome and mindful of the kid) but i don’t think it’d come naturally, he’d literally like see a tiktok and be like “yes”.

i think there was another one that was about letting kids decide to give people hugs too like y’know grandparents/family friends/whatever usually just hug the kid or the kid will be pressured into hugging them even if they don’t want to and it seems like such a small thing but like once you’ve thought about it, it’s like why can’t a kid decide not to hug someone, y’know?

the amigops et al (and others) replace your grandparents.

Some of my favourite bits from the Total Film interview, it's got me so hyped for the series!

"Alec did these little eye rolls," he says, going into a spot-on impression. "'Oh, he's not dead. It's me.' Every now and again, I tried to throw in a little eye roll. And things like, he would play with his beard. I did physically borrow some of the things he did, which I wouldn't have done in the original films because I was too much younger. But I felt happy to be in the shoes again. I really felt like it was more interesting playing him because he's older."

"He is 100 per cent a fully realised Vader," Christensen adds. "This is, in a lot of ways, Vader in his prime. But he's a very complex character, and there's an inherent struggle of identity that is always present - there's inner conflict. He's always going to be struggling with the loss of Padmé. He's got Anakin buried deep down inside. There always has to be that element of Anakin there, because he does eventually find redemption in the end - through the love of his son, no less. So there has to be that bit of him in there for Luke to be able to access. There's a lot going on."

"It was nice to come back and to bridge that gap between me and Alex Guinness," he says. "I got as much, or more, out of playing him this time than I did in the first three movies put together. That's to do with the writing, and people we were making the series with, and the technology, and how different everything is. However, if we were to get an opportunity to do it again, I'd be totally up for that," he grins. "Here I go again! It's like me knocking at Disney's door again."

Because someone already asked those questions about your fav anime/manga, can I ask your top 5 favorite western animations (can be movies or series)? Why love them?

So some of my favourite western animations of all time include

1) Tangled

Why do I love it so much? Well it has been my absolute comfort movie since I was like 10 years old and watched this movie in theatres with my older sister. I also highly relate to Rapunzel, both due to her personality and her experiences with Mother Gothel. Also to this day I fully stand by the believe that Flynn/Eugene and Rapunzel’s relationship is the single most romantic and beautifully written Disney couple in this studio’s entire history. Lastly: THE ANIMATION IS GORGEOUS! And I think few people understand just how ground breaking this movie was in terms if 3D animation as back then animating hair, and most importantly that amount of hair that Rapunzel has, was a nightmare to animate in 3D, so the Studio had to essentially come up with an entirely new animation program specifically for the protagonist’s hair to move around in a natural way.

2) Lego Monkie Kid

Created by the Australian Studio Flying Bark Productions, the same Studio behind Rise of the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, this show means EVERYTHING to me. Because one thing rarely talk about on Tumblr: I am OBSESSED with Mythology. Greek Mythology, Roman, Mythology, Yoruba Mythology, Chinese Mythology, Norse Mythology etc. you name it. Like my bookshelf is nothing but Manga, history books and an astronomical amount of mythology and fairytale books. The show follows MK a hyper and optimistic boy as he is chosen to be the Monkey King Sun Wukong’s successor and learning to be a hero. So as you may have gathered this show is not only inspired by chinese mythology but essentially it’s equivalent of what Percy Jackson is to Greek Mythology. What I adore the most about this show are its characters and the GORGEOUS ANIMATION! I swear the fighting animation especially in this cartoon is smoother than butter!

3) The Owl House

Aka "What if Harry Potter was not written by a biggot”. If you’ve seen the pinned post on my blog, you know that Lumity is one of my absolute favourite sapphic ships. But honestly this ship is only the peak of the iceberg for why i adore this show. The beautiful artstyle, Luz’s character arc over the course of the show, EDA SIMPLY EXISTING AND BEING FANTASTIC, the beautiful world building and magic system, Emperor Beloz being an absolute irredeemable asshole in the most entertaining and bone chilling way. Srsly if you can dear Anon, give this show a watch.

4) Infinity Train

An Anthology Series who up until recently you could watch on Max HBO. This show is both delightfully funny and absolutely gut-wrenching and dark. The show essentially follows on a new set of characters each season who all end up getting trapped on a train with an infinite number of cars and they cannot leave the train until they essentially come to terms with and/or face some sort of trauma or other psychological issue they may be struggling with.

And as you may have guessed those themes of working through psychological issues is something that my mentally ill ass highly relates to. Not to mention these are some of the most well handled depictions of mental illnesses in animation i have seen in years. Especially given the show was originally targeted towards children and teenagers. I cannot recommend this show enough.

5) Nimona & Over the Garden Wall

I know you asked for only Top 5 Favourite western Animations but I seriously could not decide which one I prefered so they gotta share the spot. Hope you don’t mind 😊.

Starting with Nimona: I mean what else is there to say about Nimona that has not been said before? Fantastic and unique world building? Check. Absolute comedy gold? Check. Openly Queer characters? Check. Said characters also being absolutely loveable? Check. A heartfelt message for both adults and children? CHECK. Seriously this movie is just gorgeous and on Youtube FOR FREE! Like there is nothing stopping you from watching it right this instant.

Now onto Over the Garden Wall: I come from a country where we don’t typically celebrate Halloween. So due to a lack of direct cultural ties to Halloween I never truly had any super strong interest in Halloween movies and never had the urge around October to bundle up in a blanket and watch those classic Halloween movies and shows, like some of my friends do. The most I did was carve pumpkins with my sister and drink hot cocoa cuz it’s genuinly fun. Until this Mini Series came along. The atmosphere just absolutely perfectly manages to capsulate the feeling of autumn and the eeriness of that season. Far more than any other Halloween Classic in my humble opinion. Also again I’m a huge mythology Nerd and this show is basically Dante’s Inferno for children in very weird way. But yes ever since this show had come out I instantly rewatch it the second the leaves start to fall outside.

1. How many works do you have on Ao3? 554 (with two not revealed yet as we speak...). Many of those are collections, though.

2. What’s your total Ao3 word count? 1,986,915 (erm...yeah...well)

3. What fandoms do you write for? Tolkien (The Hobbit, LOTR, The Silm). (+ the odd AU or Richard Armitage movie)

4. What are your top five fics by kudos? Tumblr Imagines (Wild Mix of everything) , October 2022 Ficlet run (same), A key change (Remix Fic), Black (Thorin x OC), Silm imagines and ficlets (Wild Mix again)

5. Do you respond to comments? Yes, in due time. I struggle a lot with being overwhelmed at times (imposter syndrome, fear of not knowing what to say, comments heaping up), but I am so thankful for every comment that I do try to answer them all in a timely manner.

6. What is the fic you wrote with the angstiest ending? I've written about 1k fics; I do not remember all of them :s I generally don't write angst, so I really couldn't say. Sorry :(

7. What’s the fic you wrote with the happiest ending? Everything? I am a Happy Ending person, so most of my fics (eventually) get a happy ending :D

8. Do you get hate on fics? Not yet (crossed fingers). At times, I get comments I don't really understand (autism ahoi), but I hope that people didn't mean anything mean by it :)

9. Do you write smut? If so, what kind? SMUT? ME? Noooo *cough*...Let's say it has happened! What kind? What kind do you want, baby? MF, FF, MM, trans characters, non-binary characters, threesomes, it has all happened. Sweet and tender? Check. Rough and dirty? Check. Dubconny and dark? Check. Just tell me what you want, and there is a good chance I've either done it or would do it :D

10. Do you write crossovers? What’s the craziest one you’ve written? I have written one crossover for an event (where characters go into a whole different franchise). Otherwise, I am an AU bitch. Disney movies, musicals, you name it.

11. Have you ever had a fic stolen? Not that I know of.

In a way, many collabs with artists are co-written. Any event collab is co-writing (to me). Me stealing @cilil's ideas is co-writing. Me asking for ideas on the @fellowshipofthefics and @tolkienpinupcalendar servers is co-writing. So...yes...yes I have, and I've loved it.

14. What’s your all time favorite ship? Ori x OC, Maedhros x Fingon, Eönwë x Gothmog

15. What’s a WIP you want to finish but doubt you ever will? Black. It's one of my first fics, and there's only a chapter or so missing...but I don't know if I'll ever finish writing that last chapter. There are a few more where I've written 1-5 additional chapters and never uploaded them...for reasons (?). By now, I am too ashamed and lazy to get back to them.

16. What are your writing strengths? Versatility and speed. I am a mediocre writer in my 5th foreign language, and I make no bones about it. Nevertheless, I am willing to give anything and everything a try :D

17. What are your writing weaknesses? I am extremely wordy. It takes me too long to get to the smut. I refuse to describe settings and geography, so all my plots seem a bit floating and vague.

18. Thoughts on writing dialogue in another language in fic? I avoid using languages I don't speak which includes Tolkien's languages. I am too afraid to make mistakes or to sound cringe to people who know better than me. As for RL languages...a word maybe, but a whole sentence (again) might feel contrived...IDK everyone does as they want, but I am not feeling it for myself.

19. First fandom you wrote for? Hamilton (and yes, those stories are orphaned and can never be traced back to me) Otherwise, the Hobbit LOL

20. Favourite fic you’ve written? Monkey-business, because I really liked writing that fic. It's a kitschy Hallmark Christmas story featuring Ori (not interesting, I know). But that's my personal fave lol...

3. Bright and light blues kind of give me the ick because I see it so often that it annoys me. (Just a PSA I don't hate anyone who likes blue or that's their favorite color, I just get annoyed at looking at it.)

5. oof. For a while it was mashed potatoes but I think I'm more partial to roasted potatoes with seasoning on them. Especially when they have rosemary and other herbs as well on them.

8. It kind of depends. When I get home from work, I usually change into my pajamas as soon as I walk in the door which usually just consists of a t shirt and either shorts or sweatpants. Sometimes though if I really like the outfit I chose to go out in, I'll stay in it so that whenever I pass a mirror I say to myself "Hey! You look good dude," and it makes me happy.

20. I have to say Frozen or Brave. Frozen is about sisters and I very much value and care about my sisters. I always like to watch it with them. Brave is about Merida's relationship with her mother and I feel a very deep attachment with my mom even if our relationship can get complicated at times. The movie is a good reminder for me to stop and take things from my mom's perspective into consideration and be a little more sympathetic to her struggles and obligations.

23. Yes I do. I try to wear it as often as I can. I have a few bracelets I wear that truly fit me. I have a ton of necklaces right now but I kind of feel like I've outgrown some of them and maybe they should be passed on to my little sister. I also have been trying to wear more earrings. I just have the standard two pierces in my ear and I'm thinking of getting more. We'll see though.

hi hi mamba, i want to start this off with a congrats and a thank you so much for putting in the work and the energy to do this event. i really appreciate it so much and i'm so so proud of you. you're doing wonderful, darling !

for your event, i actually can't decide myself so i'm going to give you the choice to pick for me between toji and satoru from jjk - (i really really hope you're not indecisive and are able to work well under pressure ! but you can let me know if you need me to choose one);

this might need a bit of a trigger warning, but something i'm still learning to love about myself is my weight and my body. i kinda struggle with my eating habits a little bit sometimes and i won't go into detail but it's something that i'm working on :)

as far as my personality goes, i would describe myself as someone who speaks her mind and usually doesn't hold back from doing so (mostly bc i think honesty is the best policy in any kind of relationship). and um this might be kind of contradicting, but at the same time i also isolate myself from loved ones when i'm feeling down or pressured and keep everything to myself bc i don't like arguing/conflict. my friends describe me as having a sarcastic sense of humour and say that i roll my eyes a lot but they also think i'm very very sweet because i flirt with them often just for fun hehe. i'm mostly an introvert because i need to have my alone time but when i'm feeling charged then i'm able to make friends very very quickly. and my dad says it's because i'm empathetic and always know what to say when it comes to ppl hehe. (ahh this is getting too long... i just love talking about myself. i'll try wrapping it up quickly!) some other things you should know about me: i'm a hopeless romantic, don't like horror, am a total daydreamer, i write romance, fanfiction, and poetry, pink is my favourite colour, i'm a lipgloss/lipstick addict (and collect them for fun even when i don't need them), spring is my favourite season, my love language is physical touch, i'm an infp, and if it's important for the moodboard i'm south asian!

let's keep this sfw for ease, so i'll end it by describing my dream date with both men. you can then choose which one you'll do!

1. i know satoru's really really tall, but i just picture toji being taller and bigger in my head so i have this headcanon that i'm like half his size (for reference, i'm 5'3-ish) and in my head we are just grumpy x sunshine couple all the way. dream date with toji would be us going to the amusement park (my fav place on earth) and just being kids tbh. i'd force him to wear cutesy animal headbands and ride the rollercoaster and the ferris wheel with me and we'd stand in long long lines just talking and he would probably whine and complain about everything but he'd put up with it for me (also i'd probably manipulate him with my big eyes and my own bratty attitude ^^)

2. with satoru, i feel like since he's pretty childish in a relationship, i'd definitely act more bossy/mature with him as a result. (he'd look so pretty taking orders, wouldn't he?) dream date with satoru would just be a stay at home date. we'd start off by cooking dinner and dessert together, then have a spa night, and end it by doing a disney movie marathon together. he's so money i just have the urge to show him that we can do things without spending so much or going out to fancy restaurants and stuff.

Absolutely have to go with 'Vegas lights' by Panic! At the Disco. I saw that years ago and it stuck with me because I did not like that song when listening to the album but then hearing it live was somehow a live altering experience, I can't even explain it, loved it since then.

20. A song that you’ve listened to on repeat recently

'Unsweetened lemonade' by Amelié Farren. I listened to that one for three hours on loop yesterday, so definitely on repeat. But it's so pretty and the subtle lyrics change in the last chorus gets to me every time, I love it.

23. A song from the soundtrack of your favorite video game/movie/TV show

'You see big girl /T:T' from the second Attack on Titan Season. The title is stupid, but the music slaps so bad, like the changes in the music the different instruments, the singing, it all just fits perfectly, especially the part around 4:22 min.

The song 'Daniel in the Den' always reminds me of Levi from aot and basically everything that happened to him snd continues to happen to him. I think it's a really powerful song for him.

Also entirely too many. I am lucky and got to do many of my musical favourites while doing musicals in school, so technically I got to cover those. A song I really want to cover but struggle is 'Do Re Mi' by trousdale because it is a trio and it sounds weird doing it alone, so it's difficult. And I want to do 'Cleopatra' by the lumineers, because it's beautiful.

Did you ever watch Idina Menzel (my sweet, beautiful talented queen)'s documentary, 'Idina Menzel: Which Way to the Stage?' It had me on an emotional roller coaster! If you haven't watched it and you have access to Disney+, then I recommend you watch it, please, and let me know what you think. I think you'll like it! Awe-inspiring, surprising, sweet, sad at some points (especially towards the end)... Babe had a bit of a hard life growing up and was a struggling artist. But look at where she is now and where she started... 🥹🤧🥹 All of that goes to me saying this: I hope Lin-Manuel Miranda drops a documentary similar to what she did, but it's about how 'In the Heights' and 'Hamilton' came about since those are his two most well known musicals. 'Freestyle Love Supreme' needs to be mentioned at some points too! Anyways, I would love to snippets of see his thinking process from writing the lyrics to singing demos to off Broadway, etc. A little bit about Moana too even though we already got quite a lot of clips in 2016 already. And Encanto. I want to get inside this creative music composer's head!

I feel like I have so much more to say, but then it'll become a essay of useless words about my never-ending love for these two beautiful humans.

so i just came here to say that i finished watching the documentary & honestly, the amount of tears i've cried is insane. for someone who didn't know much about idina, i feel like this movie was a great way to start & i would definitely recommend it to everyone. she's literally so cool & down to earth! her love for her son & her husband also made me feel so emotional, she is such a great mom & it shows. i've been literally taking notes because i feel like i have so much to say... i actually mostly knew her from rent (it's one of my favourite musicals), so it's no surprise that every mention of this show & jonathan larson made me cry (especially when she was singing "no day but today", dear lord...). one thing about me is that i've never had a chance to see/listen to wicked (please don't be mad, it's on my list, i swear!), i only knew "defying gravity", because of course, but right now it's something that i definitely need to check out (look what you made me do). sorry for being super chaotic lol i can't control my emotions right now.

with that being said, i will be the happiest & the most annoying person on earth if lin ever drops a documentary like this (i know we had one about freestyle love supreme & i love it with all my heart, but like you said, we need one about his whole life & career). all those interviews with him that i saw will never be enough for me, i need to see more & more... he's so inspiring & i could listen to him talk forever, so yes, please, i need this to happen asap! :(

Thank you so much for putting this together, it was really fun to do. These are the best answers I could come up with:

1. In ‘what the hair’ I believe it’s Gothel in the dream sequence right? Thats such a cool way to open a show I think, it really draws to you. But it is incredibly confusing if you didn’t watch ‘before ever after’ first

2. I think in the first opening it’s 3, I’m not sure about the other two. If I’m being honest the first season is my favourite.

3. A music box is laid out and when rapunzel plays it it activates the atomatons hidden in the gift boxes.

4. Okay that’s one’s really hard, I know for a fact Varian has blue eyes and I’m pretty sure Monty does, but I really can’t hunk of anyone else. Rapunzels are Green, Eugene and Lance’s are both brown. I don’t know, Faith? Maybe Frederick but I think his are green.

6. If I remember correctly, which is highly unlikely, Rapunzel starts the song so I’m going to guess Eugene finishes it as a part of the little back and forth they have. I’m more of a ‘nothing less to loose guy myself’, so I don’t actually remember that song much.

7. I think it’s in ‘Once a handmaiden’, but I could be wrong. That episode is really good for a number or reasons, but there’s something really funny about Varian canonically inventing a gun, good for him.

I really struggled with most of these, clearly I’m a fake fan </3 it’s fine I tried my best, at least this makes good practice for when I do eventually have to go up against the devil to avoid eternal damnation.

It was really fun though :D thank you for putting this together it was super cool. (Not to be that really annoying guy but I do highly recommend TTS it is a very fun watch)

Also slightly related fun face Zachary Levi plays Rocky in the the new chicken run movie and you can really tell. He uses the same line deliver as he does with Eugene it’s pretty funny to compare the two characters.

it's no problem at all, one of the best parts of this blog for me is being able to learn about everyone's special interests!

besides, considering how much experience i have in combing the internet to research fandoms i'm unfamiliar with (mostly so i can make bad puns), it was kinda fun for me to try and put that ridiculously niche skill to the test under time pressure

though... in retrospect i maaaay have accidentally made some of the questions completely impossible

(also, i know i answered your asks out of order, it sounds weird but the genuine reason is that because of the times you sent asks i was worried you were losing sleep over the stress of not knowing whether your asks were anonymous or not)

anyway, here are the answers:

1. you're totally right, it's Gothel who speaks first - no one else has a line until the 2-minute mark, they just kind of make noises at each other. i know they did it because it's a dream sequence, but it's still inexplicably funny if you pay attention to it, it reminds me of final fantasy

i did watch the first episode in full to get an idea of what this show was about, and i do have a lot of questions - tangled was one of the only two disney princess films i watched when i was a kid and i still don't really understand how her hair has grown back or who cassandra is (she seems nice though)

2. yeah in hindsight this one is basically impossible to get from memory, and when i wrote it i didn't even realise that there were different animations for the later seasons

the first one has 7, the second has 4 (i think?), and the third has 3, though it's really hard to tell

3. i actually got that wrong, i thought the music box turned into the robot, but you're right, it activates the parts hidden in the presents that then assemble themselves

4. people make fun of disney for their disdain for green eyes, rapunzel is the only disney princess who has them

excluding tangled, i can't even think of two human disney characters with green eyes period

well apparently they decided to overcompensate by making it so that almost no tangled characters have blue eyes, and honestly it's kind of hilarious

even characters who had blue eyes in the movie had their eye colour switched to green for the series

i was only able to pick out five because i noticed the trend and started actively looking for it - and even then, it was like finding a shiny pokemon anytime someone with blue eyes appeared on screen

so the fact that you were able to think of five off the top of your head is crazy impressive

he does - so do varian, frederic, faith and monty, so that's five

5. the mirror is the one on the left

the one on the right is actually based on the broken plate from breaking bad

6. eugene sings last, i have no idea what the context of the song is though

i actually was originally going to use 'nothing left to lose' but i changed it like five minutes before the timer ran out because i realised there were a lot of questions about cassandra, she's just in every clip

7. yeah, it's 'once a handmaiden', i think once her imaginary british friend pulls the cloak off it never comes back

favourite character:

that's a very difficult question. I guess, if I reaaaally had to narrow it down to a single character, I can't justify going with anyone other than Ted Spankoffski. I just have to admit that I'm maybe not entirely normal about the dumb little bastard Teddy bear man. But Wilbur Cross, Paul, Ms. Holloway and Duke, MacNamara, Lex and Ziggy are all close second places. And I could list so many more, there's so many good characters!

top 3 nightmare time episodes:

This is another hard question! My 2 favourite episodes are "Time Bastard" and "Killer Track" but for the third place, there's too many good options again. I'll go with "Honey Queen", but I considered choosing almost every nmt episode currently existing.

favourite musical:

I think I may struggle with decision-making because this one is difficult to answer again!! First of all, I know there's a lot of people who dislike Black Friday, I'm not one of them. I love Black Friday so much. I think about it and its characters so much. But it is still my least favourite one of the musicals, not because it is worse than the others but because the others are just better. Between npmd and tgwdlm is where I'm beginning to struggle again. npmd is so. so. good. I didn't think much about it when I saw Starkid had released a new musical, then I watched it and it blew me away, left me hungry for more and led me down the rabbit hole I'm stuck in now.

Butt.

I grew up with almost no contact with musicals. I barely even grew up with disney movies. I haven't seen the lion king to this day. tgwdlm was probably the first musical I ever watched that I actually cared about aside from fucking Hamilton. Let's just ignore Hamilton. And it may very well be the reason why I ever got interested in musicals in the first place, so it means a lot to me personally, and that's why I have to go with tgwdlm.

what I wanna see in nmt3:

Finally, an easy question!! Two things I wanna see more of: Wilbur Cross (specifically his relationships to MacNamara and Miss Holloway) and Spankoffski Bros interactions (And I think Joey Richter should play them both because I know they wanna shoot nmt3 properly without the zoom layout and that would make it difficult to film but it would also be fucking hilarious)

When you were having a bad day, Chris being as in sync with your moods and emotions more so he just knew when you either were having a bad day or just having an off moment.

This was more apparent when you were younger and had got the diagnosis of Autism - hence the reasons some characteristics that appear when you had a habit of shutting off because of school made sense since its been a cycle since middle school so from about 10 years old.

It had been a long Monday morning with a triple lesson that you’d hated with a burning passion as that wasn’t bad enough you’re favourite teacher wasn’t there so biology was a shit show.

Dad came to pick me up; it went down hill drastically from how i shut in biology, he’d been notified of this so he came and got me early since he’d worked with the teachers and the school about a learning plan for me in instances like this.

“Hey bubba, how are you feeling” he said walking up to me in the sensory room inside the SEN (special education needs, it’s a UK thing) office in my school

“I- mhmh” I mumbled out whilst pulling the skin off my nails - which was a normal reply which could show where i was was on my ‘shutdown scale’ as we had named it in a meeting.

“Oh sweetheart, its okay it’s just brain noise shhhh, we’re going to go home and calm down in your tepee with dodger, if you want i can get Scott to come over and cuddle too” he replied giving me a grounding tight hug.

I just nodded because i had no energy to reply properly.

As I pulled into the driveway, i noticed y/n started to hyperventilate out of panic as she must of got in her head because of the day she’d had.

So I took her hand after helping her out of the car with a lot of convincing and reassuring we were in the house in the living room snuggling in her tepee with dodger in tow (as always) that I’d bought after she a particularly rough week of panic attacks and shut downs; whilst Scott was making her some safe food that she’d eat so I can give her some of her anxiety meds that would help ground her further which will hopefully let her sleep a little since my sweet girl looked exhausted.

Time skip

After meds, safe food and uncle Scott, dad and dodger cuddles I felt better and fell asleep after a long conversation about why school was bad and why I felt so anxious with the massive weight on my shoulders because of the work and it just being too overwhelming. Dad said he’d set up meeting to review my plan and to possibly put more things in place to prevent this from happening again.

“Thank you so much dad for dealing with me and putting up with me with everything I throw you’re way; I love you so much.” I said giving him a super tight hug

“You don’t have to thank me bubba it’s my job as you’re dad to deal with all of this and it’s not ‘putting up’ with you it’s looking out for you’re best interests and making sure you’re okay, happy and healthy. I love you too nugget” he replied whilst planting a kiss on my forehead.

After the heart to heart we had a movie night with all of my favourite Disney movies including Cars 2 and Little Mermaid. It was an extremely exhausting day but I couldn’t change how my dad always shows me love no matter what happens, he’ll always have my back and love me to the end of the earth.

Introduction ☆

Hello Tumblr! My name is Morten, I am a 21 year old guy from Denmark. As a twitter refugee, I have no clue what I'm going to post on Tumblr for now, but stick around if you like (⁠人⁠ ⁠•͈⁠ᴗ⁠•͈⁠)

I guess I should talk about what kind of guy I am... Well put into simple terms, I'm a guy who adores the wonders of graphic design, which is also my eventual goal of a job. Currently I'm taking my higher exam, so I can attend university next summer. Other than that I'm your average movie n' music enjoyer, but I will talk about that a bit later. I'm also a gamer (insert cool sunglasses emoji here), where some of my favorite games include; Cult of the Lamb, Stanley Parable, Overwatch 2, Portal, Prose & Codes and wordle... I love watching movies (& tv-series, but I'll get back to that in a sec!), so much so I actually have a letterboxd you should check out...*wink*... If you're genuinely curious about what my favourite movies are, check out this list!
