Cancer rising

Man. I love cancer risings with my whole heart istg.

Cancer risings in general make people feel so loved and cared for, and as a taurus rising those qualities that they manage to naturally radiate make me want to be around them 24/7.

Now onto physical appearance, cancer risings are just very attractive. Every single one I’ve met just.. are ?!?

Half of the cancer risings I’ve met look very cute and just so pretty, literally a moon goddess. They have very soft features and look so delicate and graceful.

The other half of cancer risings i’ve met, again still have this soft, delicate vibe about them but it’s more seductive.

The first bunch are basically a goddesses personified but the other half are real life sirens.

All in all, they all are very very charming no matter the other placements they have.

cancer risings can come off as mysterious and alluring, this adds to their attractiveness.

Cancer risings also wear their hearts on their sleeves so it’s very easy to tell what they’re feeling at any given moment. This to me is very endearing and cute.

Their expressions and reactions can give away feelings that they were trying to hide and thus it can frustrate them at times.

However at the same time it can easily convey a message to others without the use of words. This adds to their charm as they can understand body language and feelings pretty well.

Id definitely say these individuals most likely have high emotional intelligence. And if there’s anything i find attractive in a person, it’s intelligence 😭

So I guess I'm gonna start doing movie reviews to hone my writing skills. (I also love film).

I wanna start with one of my top 3 favorite movies of all time. NOPE, by the one, the only Jordan Peele.

Bros, i f*cking love this movie. I believe it's genuinely a work of art, and one day, it'll be considered one of the classics next to movies like Pulp Fiction and jurassic Park. I got the chance to see it opening weekend for my birthday in '22, and it genuinely changed how I view the film industry and life as a while (that's corny, ik). Everything about the movie, from the costume design to the colors and set design, are like pieces to a painting worthy of the Louve. NOPE is the 3rd movie in Jordan peele's catalog (4th if you count Candyman, but I don't count that one), following US and GET OUT. The film follows 2 siblings, OJ and Em, living on a dying horse ranch in the valleys of Agua Dulce, CA; a place where the environment is not what it seems. Whether you're looking up at the sky or looking down into the area of Jupiter's claim, there are so many questions that may or may not be answered throughout the movie. OJ and Em are trying to save their ranch from going under through any means necessary after their father mysteriously passed away. After a UFO(UAP), sighting on the ranch and the stealing of one of their horses by said UAP, they seize their opportunity to get footage of the flying object and get those big bucks from selling the footage to save the ranch. But things take odd and terrifying turns all through the movie, turning the hunters into the hunted.

If you haven't already seen the movie, I urge you to go to Amazon or walmart (im a targer guy, myself) or something and buy it. Some people say it's one of the weaker movies in Jordan Peeles catalog, but I think they just can't see the beauty in it. I would have a segment where I critique stuff in the film, but I genuinely can't find anything that is bad in it.

Idk how to end this review. So I'm giving NOPE a 10/10 on the "you should go watch this" score chart (name pending).

Also, lmk how i can improve these reviews in the future. I want to make this an enjoyable read and a little fun. Thank you, and have a great day

Ah your ask is a little on the confusing side for me. Or maybe it's my anger that doesn't let me read. Maybe. But I feel like you contradict yourself and answer yourself in a lot of parts.

I only care what I want and I care about Jimin. And what I want is to love and support Jimin. And I will say that over and over. If someone has a problem with my opinion, they can block me. And of course people have a problem with others loving Jimin or defending Jimin. Because it's Jimin.

If you want to scream to the world that you love and support Jimin, do it. Why would you be scared of people who hide behind the screen? If someone says something, block them and continue professing your love for Jimin.

That works for me and I don't find it hard at all.

I had to look up what brainrot means and I don't have any, he's not on my mind all the time.

You ever have a character that you just... Don't want anyone to pick apart? Like, you have head cannons but you don't want to share them because you don't want other people to meddle because that's, like, your emotional support character? No other opinions are valid except yours cause they're so dear to you? Don't even ship them with anyone because you have them on a pedestal? That's Lewis, to me.

Like if we were ranking faves, Lewis wouldn't even be on the chart because he is such an enigmatic force of perfection, to me, that there's no comparison.

The most I'll share, is he'd make a phenomenal commander. He's wise, intelligent, practical, observant, blunt yet kind, aggressive yet controlled, passionate and reliable.

Li Ling and Tang Xuan might be power houses, but I cannot see them as commanding presences. Li Ling is the type to resent any commanding roles and Tang Xuan would crumble under the pressure. They both excel as loose canons... handled by Lewis. And this goes hand-in-hand with their dieties, if anyone thinks I'm downplaying them. Nezha was a loose canon and then became a formidable soldier under the Emperor's heavenly army under his general father. Sun Wukong enjoyed being looked up to and did his duty to serve and protect his subordinates and friends, but his "strategy" always involved him soloing his adversaries, even when he journeyed with other capable fighters. In dislyte universe, Li Ling hates authority because of the rules and expectations that come with it, which he finds restricting. Tang Xuan stretches himself too thin, constantly trying to serve and serve others to the point where he overlooks many areas he isn't protecting and it stresses him out. They'd make horrible commanders, unless they suddenly went through a personality shift. And I do mean, horrible commanders, because it would drain them everyday and kill their mental health, regardless if they're able to keep a public front or not.

But Lewis? Even his backstory covers so many facets to building a great commander. He has bad penmanship, but puts in the effort and dedication to practise and improve on it. He takes on charges under his crew, the Iron Fists, and uses what he learns in the Union to better his own leadership capabilities with them. He doesn't see his sister leaving as a failure on his part, he recognises that the decisions he made were done out of necessity and now he can only work towards making it not in vain and becoming the man his sister can respect, again. And if she doesn't, then at the very least he is constantly improving for himself. He doesn't get caught up in the glory of things, like when him and Li Ling were trending and Li Ling was trying to capitalise on the fame. Lewis only agreed and was excited by the prospect because it would provide more spotlight to his crew and make him look more dependable.

He's not flashy, not spectacular, but he's consistent, firm, and confident. He self reflects, he self accepts, he shows self care and he grows.

SOMSIIIIII honestly he exists in such a weird state because i built him up to be a pretty important character really early on and then my brain got distracted by all the other guys i made up.... i need to think about him more and maybe actually working on his page would help LOL

right now he's kind of just sitting in the story as a weird 'absence' character which i do find fun but yknow it means he doesnt really do much. in my minds eye hes just like cool skater kid from a prog ska band who says swear words all the time. theres more to him but i havent been able to put it into words yet....

honestly the relationships part is probably the most interesting. at least so far. the person he's technically closest to is ulises because she's the one who basically revived him and yknow. she feels this kind of responsibility for him and checks in with him to make sure he's ok. somsak thinks he's too cool to ever confront his emotions and likes to stay aloof but deep down he REALLY appreciates ulises' concern.... i think soms is kind of aware that nobody on the train really likes or respects him and though he knows he kind of does it to himself hes at least glad Someone cares about his existence at all. also thinking about it theyd both bond over music they like the same kind of tunes :+) ulises is like his cool prog rock uncle

he also has this with beatrix. having been the person to save him from falling into fornax. but its to a lesser extent just because beatrix is way sharper and untrusting themself so their relationship basically amounts to like. theyre both walking around the train and see one another. silently walk up to one another maintaining full eye contact. beatrix asks in a jovial yet stilted tone "have you fallen into any more dimensional holes as of late" as like the worlds funniest joke. somsak answers "at least 12" plays a haunting riff on his keytar and runs away. they dont talk for another month

uhhhh next thing doesnt really count as a 'relationship' i just think its an interesting character thing i wanna bring up real quick. demeter doesnt like him because he stirs up memories of míra most unpleasantly. obviously they dont say it aloud and its less of a "why do you get to live when she didnt" thing and more of a "wow every time i look at this guy i wonder how my whole life would've changed if míra had survived too" so its just like. wah. they're cold to him :+(

notably hes friends with freya kind of. they both like to cause mischief and will like. very quickly catch on and support one anothers jokes its like epitome of doing a bit with some stranger and just getting the yes/and in sync completely somehow. sometimes freya finds him very annoying and gets kind of rude but that shit flies over soms head completely and he doesnt care

i think his connection with dalisay also works in a similar manner but unlike freya dalisay speaks far more earnestly and its more of like. bouncing off of a straight man sort of improv between them. somsak just finds hir monotony brilliant honestly

somsak kind of admires olzhas and isel and like. has a weird respect for the both of them LOL he tones himself down around them which baffles olja especially. hes just like hey these guys came to the train and found a better life aboard just like i did!!!! fuck yes!!!!!!! theyre cool im also cool!!!!!! he also thinks theyre both just cool looking. transmasc swag forever

When did you become a Louie?

hmm double-sided question bc i got into one direction early 2012 when i was 11, bu ti was a niall girl and then became a harry girl mid-2014, and then dropped out of the fandom soon after that? and then last September i got back into 1d/solo careers bc i got into louis’ solo stuff. i guess i ended up following a louie w/o knowing it (ik exactly who this blogger is still) and so the day he performed in madrid suddenly i saw posts from her that were like “he said WHAT??” and i was #curious so i digged on her blog and saw she was talking about louis and the fact that he sang “princess park” in habit, and like That all the info about HL that i had let fade away came back and i was like he sang WHAT so obvs i did some more exploring and watched the vids uploaded of his habit performances and moved on from there, and basically like That was back in... i was casual for that school semester and then some time mid-late december last yr i was lurking on blogs and realized “oh shit, i wanna blog about this myself” and then made this sideblog <3

Why did you become a Louie?

ugh so many reasons!!!!!! from the moment i got back into 1d and started narrowing in on louis, everything about him made me love him so much. his lyrics felt so honest and unique, and his voice was so light and yet rich, so dynamic but so able to carry emotion!!!! every video and interview i watched endeared me more and more, and it became so clear to me how compassionate and talented and caring he is and how FUNNY i know he was styled as the funny/loud one of 1d but it is just a genuine part of who he is to have fun and joke around and make people feel comfortable and safe via that trait if his. he’s such a leader and so so so intelligent and careful and purposeful and it shows in everything he does.

Eid! - Newsies (Pride) Month . Day 4

( tommy boy ) + ( religion )

a/n: i am not muslim! i do not celebrate eid! however, inclusivity and diversity is very important to show throughout stories so i had @newnewsieprice help me with this story because she is muslim and does celebrate eid! she also told me that everyone celebrates differently so this is just based off her experiences and the bare minimum i know :)

warning: besides the fact that i only partially know what i’m talking about ? none

background: Tommy Boy is a Macedonian Muslim Baby Boy™. He is technically the only Muslim newsie in his chosen family. Tommy Boy’s blood family was deported and sent back to Macedonia. Since he was the only family member born in the states, he was left alone. A lot of families were separated during the ICE raids—including some of the other newsie’s—so they all work to bring everyone together in their own little family.

( all macedonian is according to google translate and the translation will be in parentheses, sorry if anything is wrong, i don’t speak macedonian! )

Tommy Boy hung up the phone and gently pressed his forehead on the wall, looking down with his eyes closed. He let out a breath.

“It’s hard without them here, isn’t it?”

Tommy Boy jumped, not knowing someone else was in the room. It was very early morning, he didn’t expect anyone to be awake.

He didn’t say anything. He just turned to see who was there.

It was Elmer. He was standing in the open doorway with a sense of understanding on his face. A change of pace from his often confused expression.

Tommy Boy walked over to him, wrapping him in a hug without saying a word.

Elmer knew what it was like. His parents and older siblings were taken back to Poland over a year ago.

He sticks to the newsies because they’re all he has.

Elmer’s family obviously wasn’t the only one who got taken away but his was the first. He has had time to heal, though it still hurts.

Tommy Boy’s parents were taken just weeks ago. He needs more time to accept and learn to move forward. And no one knows that feeling better than Elmer. He went from a blood family of 11 to 1. It was hard.

Elmer knew what a sacred and joyous time this has always been to him, year after year. He use to go to his parents and come back telling stories of all the gossip and events happening back in Macedonia. Stories of his parents saying how they wish they could visit their home again; but they never imagined they would get stuck there, leaving their only son behind.

Elmer was prepared to hold Tommy Boy for as long as he needed. He knew Tommy Boy wasn’t one for showing emotions, so he needed to undertand that he could be vulnerable and that was okay.

Tommy Boy pulled away gently. Tears soaked his face and his eyes were red. He hadn’t cried like that since his parents left. He never allowed himself.

He looked at Elmer’s shirt, now housing a wet spot from his eyes.

“Sorry about that”, Tommy Boy said, lightly laughing through tears and choked breaths.

“It’s okay, T. It’ll dry”, Elmer replied, smiling.

They stood there for a bit. Elmer gently rubbed Tommy Boy’s back while he let out the last of his tears and caught his breath. He just needed to get it out.

“What are you gonna do this year?” Elmer asked softly.

“I don’t know. I’m gonna pray. Pray a lot. I might go for a walk. Be by myself for a few hours. But after that I don’t know”, Tommy Boy replied in a deep breath.

“Why don’t you go get ready. Take some time to yourself beforehand. We’ll all be here with you after, okay?”

Tommy Boy nodded his head and went off to the washroom. No one else was awake so he really got to relax and calm down before he went off to the mosque.

In that time, Elmer devised a plan. He was going to do everything he could to give Tommy Boy a good Eid. Nothing would make him feel as good as he did with his parents, but he owed it to him to try.

As soon as Tommy Boy walked out the door Elmer yelled throughout the lodging house.

“Family meeting right now! Everyone come here, please!”

At least he was polite about his early morning aggressive screaming.

Ignoring the moans and groans of sleepy teenagers, Elmer actually got everyone into the main room.

He explained his plan, what he knew of the holiday, and Tommy Boy’s schedule for the day.

“Henry, how long does it take to make an entire feast fit for a celebration?”

“Um? Like all day if I’m lucky?”

“Well we’ve got about 5 hours or so, so you might wanna start now.”

“What?! Elmer that’s impossible!”

“Nothing’s impossible if you put your heart to it...and when you have friends to help...that’s why I made a chart of everyone’s responsibilities for the day.”

More groans filled the room but Elmer ignored them.

He went down the list, giving everyone their job.

Henry, Kenny, Smalls, Crutchie, Buttons, Romeo, Sniper, Specs, Jojo, Kid Blink, and Ike would all be working on food. Like Henry said, it would take all day if he did it himself so Elmer needed as many people as possible to get it all done.

However, not everyone could be trusted cooking.

Albert, Finch, Jack, Mike, Mush, and Race were in charge of getting the house ready.

That included cleaning, setting the table, getting conversation spaces ready, helping Henry if he needed anything and every other little thing Elmer needed.

Specifically, Finch was put on lookout, making sure Tommy Boy wasn’t on his way home. And if he was, the rest of the house would be warned and a distraction would be made.

While the rest of the family worked, Tommy Boy was enjoying his time. He never was one to like a lot of energy and chaos.

While at the mosque he prayed for his family. He prayed they were safe and happy even if he couldn’t be there with him. He prayed for the other first-generations to not have to go through what he did. He prayed that Race would be smart enough to not get in big enough trouble that would get him sent back to Italy. He prayed that one day he would be reunited with his family for good. He prayed he would at least be able to afford to visit until that day came. He prayed for a lot of things. That’s all he could think to do. So he did.

After he left the mosque, he took a walk. He walked around the city watching people live their lives. People not even knowing it was a holiday. People just enjoying their time together. It was nice to see.

Back at the lodging house, they ran into a bit of a problem. No one knew how to make baklava.

“Do we really need it?” Henry asked, already in the midst of making a million other things.

“Yes! It’s a staple of literally any holiday ever!” Elmer said back.

“Well you better bring someone who knows how to make it cause it ain’t me.”

Elmer thought for a minute then picked up the phone and dialed a familiar number.

“Hello?”

“Davey! It’s Elmer, we have an emergency.”

“What kind? The kind where I have to sew someone’s arm back on or the kind where you guys are out of m&m’s?”

“The kind where we don’t know how to make baklava and we were hoping you did.”

“I don’t, but my mother does. Why?”

“We need some, like today.”

“Today?! Elmer baklava takes at least two days to make!”

“Fuck. Uh. Do you know where we can get some?”

“Well, lucky for you it’s the beginning of the month.”

“Meaning...?”

“Meaning my mom makes baklava the first weekend of every month!”

“Can you bring it? Please? Like asap!”

“Yeah, I’ll be over soon.”

Since that was taken care of, Elmer got back to getting all the last details finished.

Meanwhile, Tommy Boy decided to participate in one of his favorite parts of Eid, giving to the poor.

He knows what it’s like to not have anything, so giving back to those with even less warms his heart. He remembers being on the other end and watching some of his newsie brothers there too. It’s been tough, but giving back is his way of seeing that he made it through.

He gave what he could in any form. Buying meals, volunteering, or just giving straight up money.

After another hour or so of him being out, Tommy Boy decided it was time to head home. He promised his mother he’d call again and he didn’t want it to get too late.

Davey made it to the lodging house just minutes before Tommy Boy did, finishing the table setting.

The boys somehow got everything done in time.

The table was set with all the food they could make. Foods like Tajine, Tufahije, Bolani, Pite, Spice Cookies, and—of course—Baklava. Along with other little things like dates and tiny snacks.

Finch yelled out that Tommy Boy was walking up. They all scrambled around and stood in front of the table, hiding what was behind it.

Tommy Boy walked in the same way he always does, but this time, noticed the odd behavior of the boys.

“Hey guys?” Tommy Boy confusingly asked.

“Hey, T! How was going to the mosque?” Elmer asked, genuinely curious.

“It was good! Uh...what is everyone doing?”

“Well...this is your first Eid without your usual traditions and celebrations. So...”

The boys slowly moved away from the table, revealing the food.

“...we wanted to make a new one!”

Tommy Boy’s jaw dropped.

“You—how did you? You—you did this? All of this? F-for me?”

“Of course! T, we are family, and after seeing you this morning I couldn’t have you just being alone. I can’t change what happened, but I can do everything in my power to make what you have here, the best.”

He felt the tears fill up his eyes again but quickly wiped them away.

Tommy Boy isn’t much of a talker, but that reaction said more than words ever could.

They all sat down in their respective seats and began eating the food. They all talked and gossiped and enjoyed each other’s company.

After they ate more food than probably healthy, they moved over to the couches while Henry brought out tea and cups.

Tommy Boy used this time to leave the room and call his mother back, as he promised he would.

He waited a bit longer than he should have, so his mother didn’t pick up. However, he did leave her a message.

ik anyones at risk of developing an ed but i feel like certain star signs personality traits put them more at risk?? i guess , of certain eds. Idk if this needs a trigger warning or if it comes across as too harsh idk guys im knew here pleAzzzz Dont attack me it’s my 2am thoughts , all ed’s are valid and equally important 💛, also i loveeee astrology and birth charts etc but im just gonna keep this simple and base this on SUN SIGNS (Zodiac signs)

I feel like TAURUS’ mayyyy be more prone to binging? they often tend to love rewards and enjoy self indulgence, for example maybe by binging after finishing a fast/ or a low calorie day. They can easily fall into a binge/ purge / restrict cycle as they never really adjust well to change and this cycle may be comforting for them.

CANCERS are often described as crybabies but i feel the real reason we have this label is because deep down we love to get our own way , and when we come up with a vision something in our head and it doesnt go as planned , it causes frustration. Because we are unable to express our inner feelings , we are prone to adapting poor coping mechanisms and depression very easily. This is why i beleive cancers are more likley to restrict - hard , expecially in stressful situations and isolate themselves in the process. When a cancer eventually eats more than they perhaps planned too for the day , it is VERY easy for it to become a binge , as a lot of us have that ‘all or nothing mindset’ and as cancers we lovee feeling sorry for ourselves, so a binge is almost always followed by purging of some sort to reduce the guilt.

LEO’s are often described as heavily ambitious , dignified and strong willed, wich is why i feel they’re more prone to restrict, and if they do binge , its followed by a fast rather than vomiting or taking laz etc. Unlike cancers who don’t eat because of frustration/sadness i feel like a leo choses not to eat because they have a goal (weight / bmi ) in their head that they MUST reach within a specific time frame, and they know themselves that they’re strong enough to do so. For a leo it’s not so much an emotional response, but a chance for self validation, to prove to themselves that they are strong and can stick to their goals

LIBRAS I feel a libras desire for balance makes them more likley to binge / purge , frequently. I feel that libras fear the thought of being alone so much , that they form a bond with the ‘voice’ in their head, weather it be the starving voice or the b/p voice or sometimes even both. A lot of us know how hard it is going back and forth binging/ restricting , but for a libra , their desire for balance forces them to try and please both voices simultaneously. I feel that causes them to be forced into a vicious binge , restrict cycle

VIRGOS Virgos desire PERFECTION. They want to be great at everything they do, and for them there is absolutely no room for mistakes , they are hard headed logical thinkers. I think that virgos are more likley to have a calorie limit and stick to it , REGARDLESS OF THE DAY , their logical approach to everything allows them to have a calorie limit that reduces any chances of binging , wich personally i think is very unlikley for a virgo , because they have huge amounts of self control and are able to temper their impulses and easily remind themselves of goals. This can easily drive wedges between friends and family as this “goal” will occupy their whole life and will very likley become an obsession as soon as they see “results”

SCORPIOS value the control they are able to gain over what they’re eating. They can be very self destructive and wont realise that the love of this control is ruining their lives , scorpios are stubborn and determined to succeed, they enjoy the sck sense of power they have (as we all do) over their food intake and how they can make their body look. They can easily fall into self destructive COMPLEX restrictive patterns that will isolate them from loved ones and if they were to binge , chances are they would quickly attempt to gain all of that control back by purging immediately

ok panic concert highlights

this was the portland show on the 12th k

so it was a fuckin hour and a half drive bc where i fuckin live now is far away from everything i hate it anyway that sucked & i ran my phone down to 80 percent during said drive which proved problematic

we get there (me & my lil sis) & our dad drops us off & we run up & im bitching about how weird the fucking venue is (it’s normal, it’s just not what i’m used to - in vegas the venues were typically in the casino/resorts so you lined up inside the halls & sat against the walls & tourist-watched, in this venue u stood outside in a line???? ughhh)

so we approach the line & something happens, i’m gonna make a separate post about it because holy shit

befriended two excitable gay kids, maybe 8th or 9th grade?? & i was like woah i was u once. now im old & jaded. eugh. then they bailed on me so.

we got into the arena & were on the wrong fucking side so we had to JOG all the way AROUND THE WHOLE FUCKINGN PLACE UGH

three, and what stuck with me most; brendon loves what he does. a little bit of exhibitionism, i think; he likes ppl looking at & admiring him, he’s that type of person, a showman, but also, i think he just loves making music, people singing along to the music, etc. ive been to eight concerts now, and i don’t think i’ve seen someone who clearly loved being on stage so much. a lot of ppl act like it’s a chore to tour, but brendon clearly loves it, and it made me happy, especially as an aspiring musician.

Honestly I talk so much like I need to stop talking so much it's a big issue of mine haha!! and I am guessing that's because I have so much gemini in my chart... I think I have 3 lots of gemini in my chart which is the sign that appears the most so if they overshare and talk a lot that makes sense!! I mean he does need to get with the programme and join in... he's a Virgo... don't know if that means anything or not haha Please don't lose hope I am sure one day an Earth sign will surprise you and it will all work out for you!!
