The sadness and agony that emerges everytime I start a new oni save and am forced to remember what it's like to have a dupe without a hat only to put them in a hat because I think they'd look cute only to remember hats make half of them look bald but I spent this long maxing out a skill for them so Im too stubborn to back down and remove the hat
#rat rambles#oni posting#it wouldnt be nearly as much of a problem if dupes didnt all have the same like 3 faces that I suck ass at differenciating at a glance#the amount of times Ive mixed up my maes and nikolas makes me sad Im sorry mae no one should be mistaken with nikola#if I knew how to acess the animation files Id be tempted to make a mod to change it but I dont so Im not#but imagine how cute itd be if abe and nikola had their side spikes stiking out from the sides of their hats#couldnt save the super short haired ppl tho sorry ren ari travaldo turner ruby and probably others too#speaking of my ari I keep mistaking my hassan for ari even tho I dont have an ari yet sorry bestie#hes my main storage and cleaning guy which is the role ari is in my other save#anyways the new save is continuing to go well even if things have slowed down a lil#I managed to get my salt water guiser up and running even if its a very lazy approach of basically just cooling it in a tundra biome#but itll work for the time being until I can get plastic from either drekos or by tapping into my oil biome#Im going for drekos rn since I have a lot of them around but if I can get some atmo suits set up quick enough I might just dive for oil#mainly because I want natural gas for a gas range tbh especially since I started farming waterweed as well#along with duskcaps so I already have access to the ingredients for several high quality gas range foods if I can get one running#now that might be a bit hasty but also I havent actually set base on the teleporter planetoid yet and both the transporters are right there#and I managed to find the sender on my main planetoid so I could pretty easily send over high quality food as a nice start up#this mostly tempts me because theres also a distinct lack of particularly easy to farm plants in the immediate vicinity of the teleporter#which doesnt mean there Wont be food but it does mean that quite a bit of digging will likely need to be done#with is also made tricky by the lack of early settlement oxygen sources available#and while I could theoretically send oxygen from the main colony Id rly rather not until I can get a spom or two set up#which leaves oxyferns and rust as the main oxygen options there until reliable water is found#now one thing I could do is fully transition my main base to getting all its oxygen from a spom and then send the rest of my algae over#my main thing is just Im not rly sure where I wanna put my first spom#I just simply dont have as many options as Id like due to being surrounded by mostly swampy and jungle biomes#not that I couldnt build there or dig them out its just Id rly rather have atmo suits first#which since I am very early in my dreko farm will likely take a lil bit#which also brings up the problem of getting my metal refinery up and running so I dont have to keep using the rock crusher#Ill probably just slap one in one of my tundra biomes as a short term solution but long term Ill probably have to take a shot at a proper#industrial sauna once I get plastic

Auntie Sully: New tail, new family
Tumblr media
Pair: Auntie sully reader x sully children x Rotxo x spider
Warning: None, cute <3
Request: (@kennleespain) Is I possible for you to do one where the new kids find out that aunt y/n has a mate. And they meet him for the first time. Over time he notices that Roxto follows his mate around and his response. (Anon) You mentioned once the Roxto was like aunt y/n sully’s tail. Can you do some scenario of that and the other kids noticing and bringing it up.
Note: I am going to adopt as many children as I can, because I can and I want to!!!! -auntie sully
Avatar masterlist | Part 2
Tumblr media
The first time the metkayina kids met their new aunt's mate y/n, was after the boat crash. The sully's were already part of the clan and jake was able to bring ruk'e to live with the family. The man was his younger sister's mate, but he was also his best friend (jake joked that he was his bestie, don't ask why<3).
Everyone would accept him right away, ruk'e's personality is kind and calm. So he would take his time to greet each child. Of course, next to him would be a jealous spider. He might be big now, but he was still his father. And he didn't want to share. You'd give him a tug on his hair. "Spider…come here!" you'd scold spider, grabbing him by the arm.
Ruk'e would notice the relationship all the boys have with you. Tsireya wants to be like you, ao'nung always tries to show off his skills to show he's the best. But rotxo, he just likes to sit next to you and talk. This would fill him with curiosity. Because a boy his age is not doing things his age.
From what he could tell, Rotxo had cut down on his activities just to be around you. And yes, he could confirm, Rotxo was your new blue tail. If you went to the beach, he was there. A walk in the nearby jungle, he would accompany you. Weave a basket, he would look for the materials. Of course, always with the help of spider. He loved rotxo, the bond these two boys had created was adorable.
"Mom…can rotxo sleep over today" spider would ask, you would accept. Giving your mate a look. Ruk'e would accept, watching as both boys made some kind of giant hammock. They were playing and laughing. Ruk'e could see your eyes sparkle as you watched the scene. You always wanted spider to have a brother or sister. It was no secret that it was almost impossible for you to have a baby. Even the baby you had hoped for months ago before everything took a turn for the worse could never come.
Ruk'e would be curious as to why Rotxo would be so attached to you. And I think this makes a lot of sense. Someone has seen rotxo's parents, he was always alone. And he used to get sad when the kids would make fun of his fondness for aunt y/n. Not knowing that he had no one. This was revealed, one day when all the kids were talking. Lo'ak made an off-hand comment, and rotxo ran out of the place.
Ao'nung would get upset, and explain to them what had happened. Rotxo's parents had died when he was little. He never met them, so from that moment on he lived in a common area, where there were other children going through the same situation. Spider heard this, and felt more attached to Rotxo. The two of them shared more in common than he thought.
Of course, this came to your ears. Your heart breaks to hear the story. That's why Rotxo was looking for you. He felt safe with you, even though he was much bigger than you. You gave him the love and attention he craved. He didn't have to look elsewhere for attention, because he had it in your family, even if it was just for a little while.
That same week, you would invite him to your home for more dinner. You would even prepare a special hammock for him. "Look rotxo…right next to mine!!!" says spider, bumping thumbs with spider. Ruk'e would take his role very seriously, taking his two boys to help him be his labors. Rotxo enjoyed the new company he had. He felt loved and safe.
One afternoon, after being with you all day. Rotxo would be getting ready to leave. Saying goodbye to spider. You would be approaching. "Hey…don't you want to rest here today?" you speak up. "I don't want to intrude," Rotxo says. You would take rotxo's hand. " Darling…I don't mind you being my new tail, huh? What's up?" you say. Rotxo would laugh, and get a little shy. Ruk'e would get up from the floor, inviting the boy to stay with them. "Come on son…come here!!!" says ruk'e. The boy would sit next to you, you would stroke his face. "My pretty new little tail" you speak, feeling rotxo settle in next to you as he always did.

I'm crazy and this is mainly based off my oc, but yn is prices adopted daughter that works with him, and the read is like 22-24 and price is supposed to be 45, and he kept it a secret because he's want to protect yn. I wanna see how the 141/könig reaction, can be romantic or platonic don't care lol, yes i know it's stupidly specific, but I'm stupidly specific.
The reader being Prices adopted daughter (part1)
Masterlist
Summary: you are Johns adopted daughter. This is how different members of the 141 find out about that and how they react.
AN: Hi! I'm almost through with this absolutely beautiful request! I've decided to split it into two parts, I really hope, you don't mind. I've kept it all really platonic and very comforting, and I just wanted to express my gratitude for such a wholesome request! Two important remarks: 1. My interpretation of your OC has turned to be a bisexual person. 2. The order in which the characters appear in the story does not affect their proximity to the main character in any way. This is simply the order in which the characters learned that she was Price's adopted daughter. She loves them all the same) I will, of course, tag you in the second part!!
There were four important names in your life. In your darkest hours, you kept repeating them in your mind. They were so much more than just colleagues, teachers, friends… they all were your family.
John
You were the oldest in your group in an orphanage. Others came and went, but not you. It happened so that you had to grow up ahead of time, get used to the fact that adults more often wanted to adopt babies. But you accepted this world and the rules. You never thought of it as some kind of noble mission, but you took care of your younger friends, worried about them, rejoiced with them. Whenever someone from your group left the shelter forever, you are separated from your friend, but at the same time rejoiced. Caregivers jokingly called you “the Keeper” sometimes, as you cared for other kids as much as a director of the orphanage.
So when one day one of your teachers came up to you after class and said, "There's someone here who wants to meet you," and pointed to a man standing in the doorway, you were confused. The teacher led you to a stranger, and he squatted down so that your eyes were on the same level. "Hi. I'm John." He held out his hand, but noticing your uncertainty, lowered it and smiled warmly at you.
You hit it off quickly. John asked you a lot about life at the orphanage, about your interests. He himself turned out to be an incredibly interesting person: he visited all the corners of the world that you heard about on TV. John told you about jungles and canyons, about villages where all the roads were just small bridges thrown over the water, about ghost towns where it is so cold in winter that the steam from the mouth immediately turns into snow. Your stories seemed not that big to you. What is the story of how you and your friends fed a bumblebee worth compared to John's travels? You were embarrassed by this and quickly reduced such conversations to stories about your younger friends. What if he likes someone and takes one of them home?
“You seem to care for all of them dearly.” Johns looks on the horizon as you two sit on the bench. “You have it in you, kid. Willingness to help, to stand up for them. I see it clearly. Teach me to be like that, will ya?”
You look at him with big eyes full of disbelief. What can you teach him, an adult? Are you used to everyone teaching you something...
"I'm not doing anything special..." You look high into the sky above you. "Well, when any of them is very sad, I hug him with all my might. Maybe you can try to do the same and become like me?"
"Hug with all my might?" John chuckles. "Yes, Simon will be impressed..." But then he sees your worried stare and encourages you, "Hey, that's great advice! I'll try it. But I think, it's now time for you to have dinner, and for me to go home. Don`worry, kid, I promise to come in a week and update you on my progress!"
You do not believe that this man will return, so you try not to wait for him. Most often, adults come back for babies. You remember it. But he comes back a week later. Then he visits you again and again.
Then you end up visiting him. John has a whole house with a backyard! You build a bird feeders together, play board games late into the night, and even go hiking.
These are the best days of your life, and when it's time to go back to the orphanage, you turn your back on John and hide your tears, so he won't notice. "Hold on just a little longer, kid. I'll sort it out soon," he says, and puts a hand on your shoulder.
Whenever he takes you to his house, he gives you something: a plushie or a book or some clothes. But you never took those gifts to your orphanage because you were afraid that one day he would simply stop coming, disappear from your life, and all these trinkets would remind you of him. This little biter habit of yours broke Johns heart over and over again. You were still a child, but you were already afraid to get attached to someone.
One day he takes you back to his house once again. After an evening with cocoa and a board game, he hands you a simple envelope. "This is something very important. Take a look. I need your opinion on it." You are confused, but still open the envelope and start reading the document, that was inside it. You can hardly make out the text, overloaded with terms you are unfamiliar with. And then, little by little, understanding comes to you and the letters begin to blur before your watering eyes.
“Is… is it? I…” You try to say anything, but words fail you. So you jump off your chair and run to John. He barely has time to move away from the table when you do not even hug him - you cling to him with such force, as if your life depended on it. You've always tried to hide your tears in front of him, but now they're rolling and rolling down your face. John hugs you back and pats your head to comfort you. “It's ok, it's ok, I got you. You're gonna be ok, little one. We're gonna be ok. Not ok even - we're gonna be good. Together.” His voice is soft and quiet.
Simon
“I'll need you to take the mask off this time. Don't want you to scare anyone in m`house.” Ghost grants John a side eye and scoffs. “John Price lives alone no more?” John nods and continues to drive silently. Initially, Ghost was supposed to visit Captains house just for business, but now he is tormented by curiosity. “Someone trustworthy?” Ghosts voice is still muffled with the mask. “The most trustworthy person out there,” John smiles and Simon takes the mask off. Ghost enters the house before Price, who lingered at the trunk in search of something. Simon hears joyful kids voice. "John is back!" A girl of about twelve years of age runs down the stairs with a loud clatter. But when she sees Simon, she stops in her tracks. Price often leaves for some time, and she is already used to the fact that strangers often appear in the house: Johns relatives, acquaintances who look after the child while he is away. But Simons menacing appearance made her dumbfounded. She takes a tiny step back when Price's voice comes from the street. “It's ok, kid. This is mister Riley, he's my colleague and friend.” Both Ghost and the girl look at each other startled, not knowing what to say. John finally comes into the house and defuses the situation. "Look who we met on the way home," he says, and hands the girl a plush tiger cub. Her face immediately changes and she happily skips to John.
At dinner, she sits her new toy next to her and bombards Price with questions about his work and stories about what she has been doing in his absence. Simon looks from her to John and remembers how the captain stayed in his office until late at night, endlessly filling out some forms a couple of years ago. Ghost thought it had to do with work, but when he once offered to help Price with this paperwork, John refused with strange zeal. And now Ghost sees, what was it all about. And it all was hella worth it: she was the nicest, most well-behaved and happiest kid, Simon seen in a while.
When they finished their dinner, the girl grinned conspiratorially. "Hey John! Guess what." And before Price could even react, she burst out impatiently and with ill-concealed delight: "I made your favorite dessert!"
"You? Or was it Aunt Meg?" John smirks and Simon realizes he's never seen the captain so happy before. "No, it's definitely me this time! She was just… looking out!"
Price walks into the kitchen and an awkward silence spreads across the living room. Although it seems that only Simon feels awkward - the girl stares at his tattoos with the most sincere interest. "Ehm, so you... love animals?" Ghost squints at the toy tiger cub. The girl smiles broadly and nods, never taking her eyes off Simon's arms. "Do you maybe… want to be a veterinarian when you grow up?" Simon continues this awkward conversation. "No!" She looks up at him and continues loudly, "When I grow up - I want to be a soldier like John!" The shrill sound of spoons and forks scattering across the floor comes from the kitchen.
“Soldier… I thought, kids in her age were supposed to want to become… I don't know, pop stars? Princesses? Figure skaters?” rants Price later that evening, when the girl is already sleeping and he and Simon are standing on a backyard.
“She doesn't want to become any soldier. She wants to be 'a soldier like John'. You are her hero, Captain.” Simon chuckles, masking the fact, that he envies Price a bit. The undisguised delight with which the girl looks at John, her admiration for even the simplest, most trivial of his stories… No money could buy that.
Ghost visited Prices house throughout several next years, and every time he gradually became more comfortable around the girl. In some time, they could hang out together without any awkwardness. She brought her homework down to the big table in a living room and asked Simon to tell her stories about his work with John. Of course Simon tried not to mention anything too disturbing, but it was difficult, and the stories came out short and inconsistent. But she still thrived on them. “Seems like you are quite good at what you do!” She sounds almost as exited as when she talks to John. “Quite good? Lieutenant Ghost is the legend, kid,” comments Price, entering the room. Little do John and Simon know, this was the exact moment, that predetermined the girl's life for years to come. Now she had not just one, but two heroes and a dream: to become like them.
A few years later, which flew by for Simon like a few days, he and John were already present at her oath. Of the two, Ghost, who kept aloof from the others, seemed the calmer. John seemed to be worried about everything: because his daughter was one of the shortest in her formation, because of the bad weather and the fact that she was about to get wet, because of the form "which was of much better quality back in his time" ... But when she got out of line, when she began to recite the text of the oath, Simon shuddered inwardly. Price's daughter, this little dear miracle, who had been running around the house what seemed like just yesterday in funny pajamas, was reciting the oath... Ghost couldn't believe it.
And when she, with burning eyes and a happy blush on her face, ran up to them and saluted with the words "Captain, Lieutenant", Simon felt his eyes tingle. He left her alone with John so that they could share this very special moment. But a few minutes later he heard her hurried steps and she lightly squeezed his arm in a short friendly hug. "Starting your service with insubordination?" Simon scolded her, but in fact it was one of the brightest, happiest moments of his life. He never thought that someone else's adopted child could become so important to him.
Johnny
“Let go!” The fabric of Soaps T-shirt was stretched, and the seams began to crackle dangerously, ready to burst. "Johnny, cut it out!" - your voice echoed between the gray walls of the neighboring buildings of your base. You tried to work things out quietly, but with Soap, that's impossible. If he decides something, it's as good as done.
You try to hold him by force, but it's not so easy: to a greater extent, it's not your hands that clutched at his T-shirt that stop him, but the risk of ruining that T-shirt forever.
"Hey Soap! The hell is going on here?" Price's voice sounds so close that both you and Johnny flinch and turn around at the same time. "She's holding me by force! And you still ask me what happened?" Soap sounds fierce, but his posture shifts, and he unconsciously shields you from Price, who is looking from him to you.
"Sorry, Captain. It's all right, the Sergeant and I were just joking." You answer, turning away from Price. But nothing ever escapes John. He walks around Soap, catches up with you and looks into your eyes. "You've been crying." It's not even a question, it's a statement. Price sees your reddened eyes, swollen eyelids. He also knows that you almost never cry. You want to be a good soldier so much, you look up to him and Ghost, you never let your emotions get the better of you. But if something brings you to tears... Something or someone... It's really bad.
“Gonna ask it once…” Prices eyes pierce right through the mask of dumb jolliness, you desperately try to put on. “What happened?” You try to come with anything, but your best shot just sounds pathetic “It's just an allergy, Captain…”
“Allergy my ass…” - Price walks around you and comes back to Soap. “Ok, Sergeant, let's see if you have anything better for me… Same question, I'm waiting.”
You look at Soap with a mute pleading, but he does not notice this, his eyes are riveted to Price. “She was dumped today. I wanted to find the bastard and have a word with him.” Soaps voice is still harsh from your fight. You shut your eyes and let go of his T-shirt at last. Price slowly exhales. You know that sound. A quiet long exhalation, a harbinger of a storm. “Who?” - Johns` voice sounds cold and distant.
“Your guess is as good as mine. She doesn't tell, so I was heading to the barracks to find out myself.” Soap finally looks at you, his gaze is absolutely fierce, as if rejecting you was some kind of personal insult to him.
Price turns around to you once more. One word is enough for him to express both a question and an ominous threat. “Name.” You shake your head, not daring to look up at him.
John clearly doesn't want so sound menacing to you. And if Soap wasn't around, Price would already wrap you in a tight embrace to hide you from your own pain. But the fact, that someone dared to hurt, to reject you, his little treasure (and it doesn't matter, that the last night you turned 22), makes his blood boil with rage. Of course, he is overprotective as your father, but he believes, it's you, who deserves to choose partners, and they just have to be eternally happy and grateful for your attention. You understand, that your problems have just doubled up… Now both Soap and Price are waiting for you to drop the name, and every next moment of silence seems to only make it worse.
“I need the name, kid. Now, there won't be any fights, we'll just talk. Nice and calmly… And if that bloody moron just happens to slip and fall on the Sergeant's fist - I may not notice …” your Captains` voice was quiet, menacingly quiet. Johnny didn't look any friendlier, his posture was tense and his eyes - furious. You bite your tongue, afraid to say a word. “As you wish. Off to the barracks we head then,” commands Price, and they walk past you.
In a fit of desperation, you take off and rush after them. "Wait! There's no need to 'talk' to anyone, please... It was Sarah... from the office."
They both stop in their tracks and look at each other. This... changed a lot. Of course, they still care about you and want to help, but now, obviously, they will have to reconsider their plans. Soap looks completely lost, Price checks time and rises his gaze back at you.
"In two hours, both of you. My office." Johns` voice is echoing in your head as they both leave you alone. It's hard to even roughly imagine what awaits you and why John also needed Soap. Perhaps the Captain just wanted to lecture you about relationships at work, and so he invited Johnny, who had several... similar experiences.
But when you and Soap meet on the threshold of Price's office at the appointed time, the captain silently nods to his desk with three empty glasses and a flask. The rest of the evening, these two vied with each other to tell you about different failures in their personal lives. At first you feel awkward, but gradually you relax. Some stories make you sigh sadly, others are so funny that you almost choke with laughter. Little by little, you're feeling less pain from being dumped. Yes, maybe you didn't get someone, you wanted, but you have John and Johnny, who are not embarrassed to tell you the most silly and sad personal stories, just to make you feel less alone even in such a situation.
When you leave Price's office, both you and Johnny's faces are flushed with constant laughter. He puts his hand on your shoulder and says: “Hey, don`ya spend y`tears on that dafty, ok? She lost more than you today! We'll find you a nice lass or lad, that papa Price approves of!” You almost fall over in surprise. Nobody but Ghost knew that Price had ever adopted you. Here at the military base, you and Price were just colleagues.
"What, you think m`blind?" Soap stops and stares at you. "The captain takes care of everyone in his own way, but arranging something like this... The last time, I was in a similar situation - the man just filled me up with paperwork so that I had no energy left for anything else." When he puts it that way, it darts to be obvious to you too: you may kept your secrets, but the way you and Price cared for each other was sometimes on the surface. “Johnny… I don't know, how to put it right, but we really try to keep it…”
“Keep just to yourselves? Dinae worry, I get it.” He smirks. “Price is protecting you and so will I from now on. So, ma mouths shut.”
And Johnny keeps his word: he never mentions how you are related to Price, never publicly reminisces about that evening at Captains office. And he also starts a whole operation to find and select the perfect candidate for you, but that's a whole another story.

My Redneck Neighbor Doug has watched The Bad Batch Season 3 opener:
LEEEEET'S GET READY TO RUMBLE!
This is more pithy than normal: Doug's been busy with work, as have I. But I'm determined to hear his thoughts on The Daddy Warcrimes 'n Company so here we go!
These were all via text messages, btw.
CW: Doug Doug's as you know Doug will do. Away!
---------------------------------------------------
Tumblr media
Episode 1: 'Little Orphan Blondie's Shit Internship at The Museum of Science and Industry'
Poor Little Orphan Blondie, stuck in The Museum of Science and Industry in a shit summer job because they got bills to pay. Except they got rid of the dinosaurs and walk in heart and filled it with gross shit.
Hey look, they still got the coal mine exhibit! Man I miss Chicago.
(Doug, that museum has never had dinosaurs. “What, since when?”)
MUTANT JIMMERS EVERYWHERE! Aw, Little Orphan Blondie gave one her chicken nuggets! And it’s shy, aw, I hope it’s okay.
Poor Mutant Jimmers…she named her?! Swear to Christ Almighty if that dog gets Old Yeller’d I’ll just lose it.
That freaky alien thing that ran the mall on the ocean looks sad, I bet she wishes she fell into the water and got eaten by a shark or something. I wish you did too, lady.
The Sons of Robocop really are everywhere, they must be a cult or something. They look cool, I’d join, why not. Think they get 401ks?
Oh man, Daddy Warcrimes is down bad. Poor Daddy Warcrimes. Man, all my clone boys are stooped and sad…this ain’t good.
At least Little Orphan Blondie can craft! Man, she should start selling those at the Museum of Science and Industry’s gift shop. Maybe Tarkin can bring one back for the grandchildren he’s not allowed to talk to since the restraining order was put in.
Oh, there’s Stepsister Beth, she seems on edge. Must’ve gotten divorced recently, don’t blame her ex, I bet she screamed at him for leaving cabinets open who knows. How do her eyeballs not hurt after wearing those dumb glasses all day?
Tumblr media
Episode 2: 'Night Elves and Neverland Ranch'
The night elves from Warcraft invaded Star Wars and got horns or something and now they have a castle that looks like a boss level in Diablo IV or V or how many Diablo games they got now.
Now they yelling at people and throwing them in the basement today. Makes sense, gotta fight the orcs and stuff. Think they fight the orcs in the basement?
The Night Elf Horned Queen hired Daddy Rambo and Julio to get people, I guess they’re turning into Boba Fett or something. They got her son's horn back, guess that's good. Oh they need new paint jobs on their armor.
Do they end up in the basement in the Diablo Boss Level? No? And off they go!
Daddy Rambo and Julio are in their homeland of FLORIDA! Hell yeah, SPACE FLORIDA! And they’re bringing the talking trashcan with them using straps! Go Julio go!  Yeah, boa vines, this is TOTALLY the Everglades!
Escaped clone boys! Oh man! Shit, is Neverland Ranch in the jungle? Oh man–oh, they know what they’re doing. Good kids. Real good kids. Oh what happened to the rest of them? Oh Meat Muffin, this ain't good :(.
You know what? Them clone boys are smart, take it back, this ain’t Space Florida, this is Space Louisiana! Them baby boys gone get feral and run off into the bayou and live in the caves and now you know my origin story, Meat Muffin!
If this was Florida they'd just end up working the late shift at Zaxby's and smoking rocks in the parking lot. We know better, we French and all.
I bet they’ve been living on nutria and half-empty chicken boxes from behind the gas stations. Resourceful scrappy kids and I can tell its making Daddy Rambo proud.
Oh holy SHIT, there go them vines! It's like the kudzu all over again, maybe this is LaFourche Parish?
See, them boys are definitely white trash, Mandalorian rednecks. Look at em, living in the woods and hijacking a plane, but they good kids, saving their brothers. Even saved the robot too.
Man, all the feels, them poor little boys. What will they do now?  Oh, they're going to Space Daytona! Good, wait, I saw the trailer, doesn't the Empire invade it? THIS AIN'T GOOD MEAT MUFFIN!!!
Wait...where's Toaster Strudel and Rex?
Tumblr media
Episode 3: 'Blondie Got a Gun'
Well here's the Emperor. He wants to be immortal. Gotta make that other movie make sense or something.
Where's Darth Vader? Is he running the government when the Emperor is running around giggling?
Don’t you DARE kill Mutant Jimmers, you damn droid. I hate that ugly assed stupid thing. It looks like its scarecrow daddy fucked a microwave and then left it enough money to go to Planned Parenthood but instead spent it on crack and there ya go.
Oh shut your goddamned yap, Jimmy the Scientist. I bet he gloves that hand up because he keeps shoving it up his own ass and that's why he walks funny all the damn time.
The Emperor also has a Diablo IV or VIII boss level all to himself too at the Museum of Science and Industry. How many Diablo games are there, Meat Muffin?
YEAH, LITTLE ORPHAN BLONDIE! GIT ER DONE!!! They're out! Oh wow! There she goes with Daddy Warcrimes! Kill em all and let GOD SORT THEM OUT! That's my GIRL!!!!
Blondie’s got a gun
Blondie’s got a gun
Her whole world's come undone
Shooting droids is FUN!
GO MUTANT JIMMERS GO!!!!
YEAH BLONDIE DADDY WARCRIMES AND MUTANT JIMMERS!!!!!!
I AIN'T A BULLS FAN BUT REPEAT THE THREE PEAT! YEAH!!!!!!
....so when we gonna get Toaster Strudel and Rex? Next one? Where's my reg boys?!

cw: fluff, a bit of angst, mention of haley, flashback scene, friends to lovers, hotch being emotionally constipated
“I can’t do it,” you mutter on the phone and your friend sighs.
“You most definitely can, don’t chicken out.”
You really can’t, you cannot go on this date. It’ll be a waste of time and a waste of money.
What you’d rather be doing is spending the day with your grumpy neighbour and his energetic eight year old who loves all things sweet just like you.
Except, you’ve not seen them in five days.
Aaron’s more than likely away on a case, and Jack’s with Jessica, but there’s not been a single text and you can feel dread setting it.
You want to reach out, but that feels like more than an admission of worry and you’re not sure if you want to delve into what else it could be.
It’s a little mind numbing the way the Hotchner’s have wormed their way into every routine you have and now that they’re not part of it, it feels like something is missing.
“I think I’m just gonna stay in and do class prep.” there’s a finality in your voice that makes your friend sigh.
“Alright, just,” she takes a breath, “crack a bottle of red.”
You hang up after that, rifling through your cabinets for your craft stuff.
You’re teaching the kids about shapes and slightly about fractions, but you wanted it to be fun- so it required a sacrifice to your Saturday night.
Construction paper in varying colours and Youtube tutorials were how you spent about three hours before your phone rang.
Sighing, you slide ‘answer’ without even looking at the screen.
“Hello?” there’s no answer on the line, just a crackle and a pop.
“Hello?” you pull the phone away from your ear and see ‘AH.’ Frowning, you say a little frustratedly, “Aaron?”
“It’s Jack,” there’s lots of whispering and you get nervous. “Daddy’s downstairs.”
“Are you okay, J?” you find yourself asking, standing and reaching for your keys.
“Daddy’s friends from work are here.” you take a peek out your kitchen window, but see no cars at their house.
“Where baby?” your heart is hammering in your chest.
“My old house, there was a problem.”
“Can you get your dad on the phone?” you ask, ready to get in your car and over to Jack and Aaron.
“I’m supposed to be sleeping,” he admits shyly and you laugh. “I miss you.” he says and you feel your heart swell.
“I miss you too Jack,” god you wish you could hug his little body. “Is everything okay?”
Jack sighs, “It was my mom’s birthday two days ago,” your heart breaks for Jack and Aaron.
Jack had told you about his mom’s funeral when he was over the last time Aaron had been away.
“Daddy was sad, and today Uncle Rossi came over because he made a mistake.”
“It’s all good now though?” you ask and Jack says a little, ‘yeah,’ but he sounds sad. “Do you want me to stay on the phone till you fall asleep?”
The words are out of your mouth before you can stop yourself.
“Can we do a video?” he asks and you switch over immediately, finding Jack’s face smushed to his pillow.
“You look so cozy,” you tell him and he smiles, a little blush taking over his face. “What story do you want?” you have a couple of his favourites still at the house.
“Jungle book again, please.”
You read only a couple chapters of the book before Jack falls asleep, the phone falling to the bed so you’re staring at the ceiling but you don’t mind it.
You’re cleaning up your coffee table when you hear Jack’s door open.
“Y/n?” It’s the first sign of trouble when Aaron says your name like that.
You’re not sure what the trouble could be, but you know it’s unsettling and it makes your skin crawl just slightly.
You curse yourself internally at that thought.
Aaron doesn’t have to call you ‘sweetheart’ every time, friends usually go by first names too.
“Hey,” you say, and there’s a sort of awkward silence that fills the space. “Sorry, I didn’t mean for him to keep the phone, he sounded so sad and fell asleep.” Aaron just shakes his head.
“It’s fine Y/n, it’s been a tough week for him.” it grates on your nerves the way he’s determined to only call you your name, but you nod as Aaron speaks, packing your crafts into your sticker folder and sliding it into your tote bag.
There’s something weird with him.
“Jack said you’d been sad.” you mumble before you can stop yourself. “Sorry, sorry.”
Aaron laughs and shakes his head. “He likes you,” he says and you smile bashfully. “But yeah, I was. I’m better now though, swear.”
You eye him skeptically, but nod anyway.
“Rossi says I’ve made a mistake.” Aaron says unexpectedly. Your eyebrows knit as you wait for him to continue, “Coming back to the house.”
Aaron doesn’t know why he’s saying all this, truly. It’s frightening the way he opens up to you without even thinking.
He wants to add, ‘and being away from you,’ but you cut him off before the words can slip from his lips.
“Do you think it is?” regardless of what his answer is, you’re planning on keeping your face neutral.
“I’m not sure, it’s done some good, but I think mostly it’s made Jack emotional.”
You can see the struggle plain on his face. He’s at war with himself, but you’re not sure why exactly.
“Do what feels right for the two of you.” you say softly and he nods.
Seeing him and hearing that he wants to possibly stay at the house reminds you that they’d never been permanent, no matter what you had thought.
It bubbles an anger that’s really embarrassment and it makes you feel gross, makes you feel wrong.
Wrong for letting them into your routines, wrong for getting so used to them being in your space, wrong for your friendship turning into a crush.
“I gotta go,” you say and Aaron nods. He can tell something’s wrong, but prying seems wrong.
Everything seems wrong now.
“Goodnight Y/n.”
“Goodnight.”
-
You go another week without the Hotchners but this time they’re home. In their house right across the street.
Jack still waves at you from inside their gates, but he doesn’t come over and you hardly see Aaron.
There’s something odd and it’s eating away at you. You hate the limbo of not knowing what’s going on, but you knew it was bound to happen after that phone call.
You give Jack his ‘something sweet’ every week though, still giving him double the regular batch even if Aaron isn’t talking to you.
Your week has been mostly the same routine, wake up, go to school, teach the kids.
Except today.
Everything’s been turned on its head since the moment you woke up.
You’re late. And you’re never late, not even five minutes.
Your alarm didn’t go off, and now you’re about to be an hour late for school because you haven’t had breakfast or showered yet.
The only good thing is that you called in the moment you got up and let the school know you’d be late. Other than that? It’s been a shit show.
As you step out the door, you see Aaron hovering by your gate.
You’re only slightly disturbed by his presence, especially the beard he’s grown. “Is something wrong?” you ask as you lock your door.
“You’re still here.” he’s got an almost relieved tone to his voice.
“I’m late,” you explain softly and he nods, stepping back as you open your gate. “Are you sure nothings wrong?”
Aaron never grows a beard, and he never comes over in the morning even when you were talking.
Sure you being late is uncharacteristic, but it doesn’t warrant a visit from him- especially after all this time.
“You haven’t called me ‘Aaron’ in almost two weeks.” he grimaces after the words leave him like he wasn’t supposed to say anything.
“You haven’t spoken to me in almost two weeks.” you counter as you reach your car. “I’m not doing this right now, you have your reasons fine whatever. I have to get to work.”
You’ve never been this cursory with him ever, and it stings, but Aaron nods.
Your day doesn’t brighten much from there. The kids are all a bit restless and teaching fractions doesn’t go as smoothly as you’d have liked, but they’re understanding the differences a lot better now.
You don’t force it on them after lunch though.
Instead, you let them go over their writing and reading and help them make crafts till the last bell.
Aaron’s outside waiting for you and you resist the urge to roll your eyes.
Sure you missed him, but like this, he’s two steps away from making your bad day worse.
“Come pick up Jack with me? He hasn’t seen me for the day.” you want to ask why, but you don’t want to be reinvited into their lives like this.
“Aaron,” you want to tell him no. You want to tell him to fuck off and leave you alone, to pretend you don’t exist because it was so easy for him over the last two weeks.
But there’s something about the way his shoulders drop and relax as you say his name that has you caving. Something about that Aaron Hotchner smile, that’s not even a smile that wins you over.
“Fine.”
He knows using Jack to force the two of you together is wrong, but after Rossi and Reid grilling him, he wants to make amends.
“You stopped speaking to her?” David is livid. He knows exactly why Aaron had stopped speaking to you but he hates that he’s allowed his worry to rule him again.
“Hotch, she was nice.” Spencer chimes and Aaron rolls his eyes and sucks at his teeth.
“None of you have met her!” he hisses and Spencer shrugs.
“Jack talks,” is all Reid says and David nods.
“Yeah, the kid’s practically in love with her. He even shared some of that chocolate babka she made for you, she’s got a good hand for it.” Rossi says and Aaron smiles despite it all.
Rossi wants to tease him, but the smile has something sad about it.
“That’s why it can’t go on Dave, she’s someone to lose now.”
David and Spencer sigh and lean forward at the round table.
“And you pushing her away is what? Keeping him from losing her? It’s premature even for you, Hotch.” Rossi’s words are weighted, but it’s Spencer that gets to him.
“Jack’s going to lose her twice, once as his friend and then again as his neighbour. When she realizes you’re done with whatever it is you had, she’s going to leave Jack alone to avoid you.”
There’s an implied, ‘and it’ll be your fault,’ that Spencer politely refuses to add verbally.
The words had been swimming around his head all week but he didn’t know how to approach you about it to apologise.
“Did you drive here?” you ask as you reach your car, looking up at Aaron to see him shake his head.
“No, um, Spencer dropped me off.” you nod though you have no clue who this ‘Spencer’ is.
“Get in,” you mutter, sliding into the front seat and starting the car.
The ride is mostly silent and uncomfortable.
It’s stifling that the two of you are this silent but clearly have something to say.
It’s causing a stress knot at the back of your neck now that you think about it.
“Can you just say whatever it is you want to? The tension is ridiculous.” you murmur, eyes darting between Aaron and the road.
He feels gross all over at the way you’ve dismissed him even while speaking to him- but Aaron knows he’s deserved this.
“I’m sorry.” he starts and you frown. “For being distant, and for not coming over. I didn’t mean to make you upset.” he says softly, almost like he’s ashamed of his actions.
“That’s not why I was upset,” you reply, pulling into the parking lot of Jack’s school. “You stopped being my friend. You put distance between us when you went back to your old house, and I didn’t know why. Then when you came home you couldn’t even look at me and say, ‘We can’t be friends anymore’ you just shut me out.”
There’s a long silence in the car as Aaron tries to pick his next few words and you feel like you probably should’ve never said anything to begin with.
“We’ll talk later,” he says as the children start rushing out.
You stay in the car while Aaron gets Jack and sigh. Your forehead is pressed against the steering wheel when the back door opens and a rowdy Jack pushes his face up to yours.
“Y/n!” he screams, and you giggle despite yourself.
“Inside voice Jack,” Aaron corrects softly and Jack nods, pressing a kiss to your neck.
“How was your day?” you ask as you pull out, content to give Jack all your attention if it means that you can avoid whatever is going on between you and his dad.
“Can I come over?” Jack asks as you pull into the familiar road. “Dad?” he prompts when neither of you answer.
Aaron only looks at you.
“Uh yeah babe, but me and your dad have to talk, that okay?” Jack nods, unbuckling his seatbelt as you get out.
“C’mon J,” you call, opening the door and letting him race in.
You set up the tv for him, ‘Little Einsteins’ playing as he sings along. You place a bottled water and a plate of cookies on the coffee table for him too, before turning to Aaron who’s leaning on your kitchen’s arch.
You stare at him from the other side of the archway, waiting for him to speak.
“I couldn’t,” he starts and you cross your arms. “I don’t do well with loss, it’s hard to let people in since Haley died- Jack’s mom.”
God you wish you weren’t so emotional. You can feel tears pricking your eyes just at the mention of Jack’s mom.
“I don’t like putting him in a position where he can lose people. He wasn’t supposed to befriend you, neither of us were,” you nod. “but we did and it started to feel too good being around you.”
You want to stop him, but Aaron bulldozes you and continues, “Things go wrong quickly when they start to feel good. There’s risks that come with being involved with any agent.”
“I don’t think someone would attack me because we were friends Aaron,” you try to joke but he doesn’t smile, he doesn’t even do his little eyebrow quirk and it makes you nervous.
“Maybe not, but I didn’t want to take the chance. Anything could go wrong.”
“Anything could go wrong in friendships that don’t involve agents.” is your counter.
You push off the archway when your brain catches up, “Wait, did you say, ‘didn’t’?” you’re closing the distance between you.
He smiles a little then, only the tip of his smile going up but you see it.
“A couple friends told me I was being premature, in putting distance between us. They also reminded me I was more than capable of keeping people safe.”
You can’t help but smile, “And?”
Aaron’s not off the hook, that much he can tell.
He can also tell that you’re giving in.
“And, I wanted to stop being an ass and I really really missed coming over.”
You shake your head, “What if I didn’t want us to be friends again?”
Aaron pauses for a moment, it’s long and pregnant and it makes you nibble on your lip when you catch onto what he’s thinking, but then he gives you a proper smile this time, “Then I’d go ask Jack to convince you to give us another shot with you.”
“Oh that’s mean,” you mumble and Aaron nods, the toes of your shoes touching now.
“Alright, fine, since you’ve really pulled my leg, I’ll be your friend again Aaron Hotchner.” you say dramatically and he laughs.
“Good, because I really did miss you. More than Jack.” he whispers the last part and you scoff.
“Oh that’s not true, Jack called me.” you say and Aaron’s eyebrows knit together.
“After we came back?” he asks softly and you nod.
“Three times a week from the landline.” The boy in question comes running into the kitchen, an empty plate of cookies in his hand.
“Thanks Y/n,” you take the plate from him, and as soon as his hands are empty he hugs your legs. “Missed you.” he says and you ruffle his hair.
Aaron feels his heart break at the fact that his son had missed you so much, he called you on the house phone. Reid was right, he’d have made Jack lose you twice. He almost did.
“C’mon babe,” you lift Jack to your hip, “Let’s choose something to bake for tomorrow.”
Aaron watches as you go for your cookbook, sitting Jack on the countertop as you both flip through the desserts section.
-
You all fall into your regular routine after a couple weeks, Jack coming over on a Friday for his ‘something sweet’ and to give you all the details of his week.
Aaron never stays long these days, hard cases that’s mainly long hours but he pops in every night just before you go to bed.
Like tonight, Jack’s still with you, not awake but asleep in your lap, and Aaron knocks on your door.
“Shit,” you mumble, lifting Jack’s head and placing it on a cushion.
“Y/n,” he whines and you pout, kissing his head before jogging off to the door.
“You have to get your own keys,” you say to Aaron, finding him in just his suit shirt, tie and jacket gone. “He fell asleep.”
Aaron shakes his head as he steps in, noticing both you and Jack in your pyjamas as he flicks your locks.
“It’s not even eight thirty, what did you get up to?”
You don’t say a word, but gesture to the coffee table and then to the kitchen.
The coffee table is covered in paper dinosaurs, all in varying colours and species, and the kitchen has multiple tupperware bowls, some with food and others with sweets.
“You’re weak sweetheart,” he chuckles and you shrug.
“He’s nice, and we had fun. Jack pays in compliments and kisses, what’s better than that?” Aaron sits where you had been, raising Jack’s head so it lays in his lap, and pats his free side.
“You shouldn’t be working on crafts on the weekend,” Aaron whispers but you frown. “You should be relaxing.”
You suck at your teeth, “We did relax! We made dinner together and we baked brownies and then we made dinosaurs.”
He just nods, but Aaron wishes he had the time to actually let you relax.
He wishes that he could have a weekend off to take you and Jack someplace where you don’t have to entertain.
There’s a contemplative look on his face that makes his eyebrows scrunch together and his lips purse - you don’t like it even a little bit.
“You’re being weird Aaron.” you say as you reach and smooth the wrinkles in his eyebrows.
“I’ve never been weird,” you giggle softly but don’t say anything and it makes Aaron shake his head. “I’m thinking.”
You pull back from him, “Aaron, please, don’t hurt yourself.” he pushes at your shoulder when you laugh.
“Something serious?” you ask, standing and moving to the kitchen.
Aaron’s about to call out to you when he spots you walking back with a bowl of food and a fork.
“It could be,” he says and he takes the things from you. You flick through the shows, settling on something easy as he eats.
“Are you gonna tell me?” he shakes his head, crunching on a carrot.
“Nah, not yet.” you huff but say nothing, content to just watch your show till Aaron’s ready to leave.
Except, you fall asleep in his lap as well, and he can’t move. He doesn’t mind, not a bit but he does shift a little so he can lay down too with you and Jack on him.
“Fucking perfect.”
-
The next week is fast, the term is winding down for thanksgiving and then Christmas break.
The kids have been good at the fractions and the shapes, a real change from the last couple of weeks and it makes you feel a teacher’s pride that’s ridiculous.
“You guys are so smart!” you praise as you watch the class name each of the fractions with ease.
Now they’re all eagerly telling you their plans for Thanksgiving, and what their parents are going to be making while you’re in circle time.
“Miss Y/n?” Ben raises his hand as you walk around the room.
“Yeah?”
“What do you do for Thanksgiving?” the class all nod at his question and you smile.
“Uh, well my family and I never really celebrated it. We did the big lunch and dinner for Christmas.”
Another hand goes up and you point to the girl, Lyn, “Will you be alone then?”
They all know you’re not from Virginia.
“Maybe, or maybe I’ll spend it with my neighbours.” you haven’t really spoken of it with Aaron and Jack, but if you have to spend it alone it won’t be as bad as it used to be.
“I hope you do,” Lyn says and you smile.
“Thank you Lyn.”
On your drive home, you think about Thanksgiving and what you’ll do for it, but everything feels too much. It feels weird thinking about doing something when you usually do nothing.
“Y/n!” Jack’s waiting outside your door with Aaron, who has to hold his son’s hand so he doesn’t run over to the car.
“Jack,” you greet and he tugs on your fingers. “What’s wrong baby?”
Aaron comes down to take your keys from you.
“We’re going out,” Aaron says and you frown.
“Where?” you ask and Jack beams.
“Our favourite!” Jack giggles madly and you shake your head.
“Never been.” you say and Aaron smiles. He unlocks your door and watches you and Jack go in before getting in himself.
“That’s even better. We’ll wait for you. It’s not formal. Reservation is for 7.”
Aaron can tell you want to say something, but you don’t. You just make your way to your staircase.
“Y/n, can I have more cookies?” Jack asks and you nod to Aaron.
“If your dad says it’s okay before dinner.”
You don’t stick around to hear whether or not Aaron allows him.
You come back down and Aaron sees you first. Without his conscious consent his belly fills with butterflies and his nerves frazzle.
You’re in a long, blue and orange skirt and a white t-shirt.
Your hair’s been let down, ringlets of loose curls hanging down your back, your glasses replaced with another pair that matches better.
“I’m ready,” you say, watching Jack and Aaron share a cookie as you grab your purse.
“Leave it.” Aaron says softly, offering you a cookie in turn. “You look beautiful.” he compliments and you smile as you pluck the cookie from his hands.
“So pretty,” Jack says as he touches the colours on your skirt. “Like a princess or a fairy!”
“You’re both flirts,” is the only thing you can say, trying to tamper your embarrassment from their attention.
Dinner is easy, conversation mostly abstract.
“What about if you combined the two, a brownie and a cake,” Jack says as they bring dessert out. Aaron had the good sense to get everyone their own hot brownie with ice cream. “A crownie!” he names it excitedly and you giggle.
“We could try babe,” you say and Jack nods, leaning forward and licking the vanilla ice cream on his brownie.
“It’s hot so don’t touch the pan.” you say and he nods. He’s been beside you all evening, much to Aaron’s amusement yet he can’t help the way he notices Jack has been wanting you more and more.
It’s painfully obvious now how much his son had missed you, and for a moment he feels a sharp stab of dad guilt right to his gut.
“Aaron, your ice cream is gonna melt and then me and Jack are gonna have your entire plate.” you threaten, Aaron’s eyes widening as he notices the chocolate stains around his son’s mouth and the nearly gone brownie.
“Yeah dad, eat up or pay up.”
Your laugh is loud at the little Hotchner’s threat.
“You wouldn’t dare,” Aaron says, digging into his brownie before you and Jack team up against him. He still manages to save about half the brownie for the ride home.
The bill comes and you reach for it when Aaron shakes his head.
“Not a chance, sweetheart.” It's cruel of him to say it so sweetly and reverently as he fishes his card out of his wallet.
It makes you stumble, and allows him the advantage of paying without another complaint.
Jack knocks out about twenty minutes into the drive back to your house, and from the quiet that surrounds the car you’re tired too.
“You can sleep y’know,” Aaron says as he glances over at you.
You shake your head, defiant, “And leave you up by yourself? Don’t think so.”
He keeps you talking for a little while, before glancing at you and finding your cheek tucked to your shoulder, and your eyes dropping closed.
“Sleep, sweetheart.” he says softly, hand reaching for your cheek.
“Don’t want you to be bored,” you slur and he chuckles.
“Won’t be, promise.” your eyes don’t stay open long after that, certainly not when Aaron keeps stroking your face.
The drive lasts another half hour, you and Jack out like lights.
When he pulls up to your house he grabs your keys from the cup holder.
Aaron’s meticulous as he opens the door and clears the couch so there’s space to place Jack.
The little boy doesn’t rouse, Aaron having perfected the art of transporting a sleeping toddler over the years.
He comes back for you, unbuckling your seatbelt and stroking your arm.
“We’re home sweetheart,” he whispers, watching you turn to where his voice is coming from. “Want me to carry you?” he’s gonna do it unless you say ‘no.’
“I can walk,” you’re groggy, but he moves to let you hop out of the SUV on your own.
Aaron stays behind you though, hand on your back as you walk inside. You stretch and yawn when you’re inside and Aaron smiles.
“Want some tea?” you ask and he shakes his head, he watches you make yours though.
“Thanks for dinner, Aaron.” you say as you hold your mug, taking a scalding sip that makes you hiss.
“Don’t do that,” he says and you frown. “What are you doing tomorrow?” he asks and you brighten.
Aaron never has the weekends off. Ever.
“You didn’t say you had the weekend off!” you all but scream and he laughs, reaching for your mug as you rush around to his side of the kitchen island.
“I have the day off,” he amends and you nod, sitting halfway in his lap till he tugs you up properly.
“And you want me to spend it with you and Jack?” he nods, handing over the tea when you’re comfortable.
You don’t think hard about his hand falling to your waist to keep you still as he answers you.
“Mhm, Jack wants to go to a book fair.” he elaborates and you nod. “Are you free?”
“So free! But I have to be back in time to go to the farmer’s market.”
Aaron nods, lodging his chin on your shoulder as you sip the tea. He can do with a day of just you and Jack and nothing else.

The Nanny pt2
Rio x fem!reader
Wc: 2.8k
Warnings: none, just Rio being cute and sprung. maybe a little jealous
(Scenes from season 4 episode6 are used)
Tumblr media
this is how I picture him looking at the reader lol
He had no idea how he ended up here. How quickly his feelings had developed in the short time she'd lived with them. To him, she was no longer just a nanny, they'd become a partnership. He really lightened her workload over the months. On the days that he started work late, he would let her sleep in, he'd get Marcus' lunch together and even make her breakfast— always leaving a little note behind to let her know he had gone to drop off Marcus and he'd see her tonight when he got home. And when he got home he always had a home-cooked meal, he couldn't tell the last time he ordered food.
She even taught him a few of her favourite meals, which coincidentally became his and Marcus' favourite meals too.
Marcus would be on his PS5 long enough for them to be in the kitchen making mistakes, laughing about it. That's where they bonded the most, he felt like that's where she was herself. She often said she found peace in cooking, it'd bring back memories of her childhood and she'd tell him stories of cooking with her mother and her grandmother and he'd attentively listen.
She hated to admit it but moving in made her a lot happier. She was stuck in a dead routine, just go to work and go home— she had no roommate, no pets, no kids, absolutely nothing to come home to and no one to talk to but now she had extra company and voices around her.
"So, now you add a teaspoon of salt," YN instructed from the other side of the island, she watched as Rio's eyebrows knit together in concentration trying to find the teaspoon in the jungle of little measuring spoons she had bought all looped on a keychain. She covered her mouth to muffle her incoming laughter, Rio smirked after catching her in the corner of his eye.
"I'll fuck you up Yn, don't laugh." He playfully warned. She apologized and pointed it out to him. "Thanks."
"Mhm."
She checked her watch for the millionth time in the last fifteen minutes. Today they were dropping Marcus off at his great-grandmother's house, she had recently let Rio know that they were having a family gathering at her home and most of his cousins would be there so it was inevitable that he would sleep over.
Yn was a bit sad, it'd be her first night without reading Marcus a story or giving him a big kiss on his cheek. But her sadness had been replaced with fear once he mentioned that they wanted to meet her. Why would they want to meet her? Was he talking about her? And what was he telling them?
"Alright, I gotta mix it next?"
She nodded. A question wavering over her head, and Rio could tell. "Ask."
Her eyes widened. "Ask what?"
"Whatever question is floating in that pretty head of yours." He thought he was slick slipping that word in, actually, she noticed he'd been doing it a lot. He'd call her baby, pretty girl, her favourite had become pretty mama. His too. He saw the effect it had on her, how giggly and blushy she got.
Yn took a deep breath. "Why does your grandmother want to meet me?"
He swallowed. Well, it was because he wouldn't shut up about her, Marcus had a bit of help in it too but truthfully it was mostly him. His grandmother almost couldn't believe someone had her boy this sweetened, she had to meet this "miracle worker." She called.
"Uh," He wanted to lie, but he wouldn't he would only tell her a quarter of the truth. "I told her I got Marcus a nanny and she wanted to meet who's taking care of him and the house, that's it."
She squinted. "You couldn't send her a picture?" He stopped mixing and looked up at her through hooded eyes as if to say, are you serious?
Yn rolled her eyes and put her hands up. "Sorry."
He resumed letting out an amused chuckle. "Why you nervous?" She groaned. "Dude, it's your family, your grandmother. What if they don't like me?"
"They'll like you. I like you, so they will."
A lighthearted confession that could be taken both ways. Yn blushed but quickly wiped it off. "Fine, I'll go get ready. When you're done cover the bowl and put it in the fridge, I'll make it tomorrow."
"Yes ma'am." She flashed a wink and slid off the barstool she was sitting on. Rio watched as she walked away, tongue swiping between his lips while her hips dipped a little extra in her stride. He didn't know how much more of this he could take.
It took a while but everyone was finally dressed and out the door. Nobody said much during the car ride, Marcus was too occupied with his iPad to bother with conversation and Yn was still shaking in her skin, her leg closest to him continued to bounce and hadn't stopped once they left the house. He hesitantly moved his hand from his lap to her knee, he actively felt her leg slow down until it came to a full stop.
Her soft hand rested on top of his. "Sorry." She mumbled. "It's okay, told you... you'll be fine." Maybe she really was just overreacting but she couldn't help but think that this was more than just the family meeting the nanny. Yn had zoned out long enough for the rest of the ride, Rio's door closing is what brought her out of it. She unbuckled her seatbelt and bent down fixing the straps on her heels, she reached for the handle so she could open the door but was met with a hand.
"Come on." Rio smiled. She playfully rolled her eyes in order to hide her grin. Once she was in full view his eyes sparkled with adoration. "I tell you you look good before we left?"
"Yeah."
"Mm, well, you look beautiful."
She swore she could kiss him right there, she wanted to... so desperately. She rested her hand on his chin. "Thank you. You look beautiful too." She giggled. He winked. Marcus stood between them with his backpack on and a confused look on his face, a bit curious as to what was going on recently with them but he'd save it for later.
The three made their way to the backyard, Marcus had zoomed off once he heard children's laughter, his heavy backpack swinging and almost weighing him down caused the two to laugh. Once they were past the brick wall Yn was met with a whole generation of Rio's family— aunts, uncles, cousins and grandparents were spread out through their backyard. A frigid air ran through her system when his presence vanished.
He had walked over to his grandma, slightly bending to embrace her in a hug. "Look how handsome you are papito." Yn smiled seeing her pinch his cheeks, he gently brushed her off and for a quick second you could see the little boy in him."Ay, abuela please." He whispered. She let out a hearty laugh gently hitting his arm, she glanced over at Yn. "Well, this must be who my boys are talking about so much."
She shyly waved while slowly approaching her open arms, they shared a hug. "It's so nice to meet you, sweetheart."
"Lovely to meet you too." She sweet-talked. "Come with me I have people I want you to meet."
Before Yn could protest she was being dragged off to another family member, she looked over her shoulder in a silent plea for Rio to be her scapegoat, he knew how she felt about meeting new people, but he just shook his head and mouthed, "you'll be fine."
And to her surprise, she was. His family embraced her almost immediately, spilling the tea on how Rio was when he was growing up and of course he was the same troublemaker back then. During your current conversation with one of his cousins, she felt sneaky slender fingers wrap around her biceps. "What lies are you telling this girl right now?" said Rio. The woman shrugged and sipped her drink. "Just telling her every embarrassing thing that she needs to know."
"Oh is that right?"
Yn leaned closer to him. "Yeah, so now I have some fire for you when you piss me off."
"Should've never brought you here."
His cousin chimed in, "Well, I'm glad you did. She's a keeper." Rio's face became flushed with sudden humiliation, it was almost like she was telling his crush that he had a crush on her without actually saying it. She noticed how red he was becoming and playfully hit his chest. "Eh, I guess I'll keep him too."
Before Rio could argue it was announced that the food was ready and that everyone should come eat. There were two tables, one for the kids and one for the adults, they made sure Marcus was good before heading to the other table. Rio pulled out her chair, she thanked him and sat comfortably and was already greeted by a plate of food. Everything looked and smelt so good. His grandmother plopped a scoop of potato salad on her plate, "Oh, it's a bit too much, thank you."
Rio smiled. "Nah, don't worry she will let you know when you've had enough."
Yn grabbed her fork and began to dig in, she sighed and closed her eyes thinking she might have to take some to go. "Good huh?" Rio laughed. "So fucking good."
"So how do you know my uncle?" A young man, who was a bit too young to be at their table but also a lot older than the other children, questioned. There was a beat of silence, neither knew who was going to answer or what to really say. Rio decided that maybe she'd been answering enough questions tonight and that he'd take this one. "She's uh, our nanny."
Then came another question. "Oh, what does she do?" Rio shrugged nonchalantly. "She helps me out. Ain't that right?" He bounced the response off to her, she swallowed what she was chewing and failed to make eye contact with anyone when she said, "We help each other out, we're partners."
A smirk tugged at his lips when she gently nudged him with her elbow. She had hoped the interrogation had come to its end but a man across from them decided to keep it going. She hadn't talked to him at all tonight, she caught a glimpse of him maybe but she wasn't drawn to him at all. "That's all?" He asks. Yn looked up at him, he had a cocky smile on his face, you could tell he thought he was a big shot and that he was probably used to getting anything he wanted.
There was a cold bitter breeze suddenly in the atmosphere. Rio's jaw flexed as he stared hateful daggers across the way while the other man held amusement like it was entertaining to see Rio in this light. The question remained in the air, no one decided to answer so now it was just awkward.
Rio's grandmother broke the ice. "So, do you have any children?" Yn's eyebrows pinched together. "Oh, no way." The table looked at her as if she had said something wrong, she retracted by saying: "Not that I don't like them, I mean I've been a nanny for fifteen years. I just um, haven't found anyone to make them with." She nervously laughed.
"Think you'll find him?" Tone. That tone. It was so snarky, and whenever she followed that tone it led back to that mischievous smirk, that know-it-all energy. There was nothing but hostility bouncing between this man and Rio, they remained quiet but their glares spoke loud enough for the both of them, a full-out brawl was going down in their heads. "Let the girl eat, Nick, she's barely touched her food." Said their grandmother. Rio grunted as he leaned back in his chair, pointing to the man and saying, "My cousin."
"Brother." Nick corrected.
"Cousin." Rio retracted. An annoyance washed over Nick but he tried his best to hold it together, his eyes shifted back to YN. "Heard a lot about you, YN. My brother makes it sound like you're more than just a nanny."
His grandmother tapped the table. "Nick shut up and eat your food please." The table of adults had soon shrunk back into their childish ways, and the unison of "Oouuuuuu." rang around the table. Nick bit the inside of his cheek and kept his comments to himself and the conversation roughly transferred to something else, Yn listened as she continued to devour her food. Her body suddenly froze when she felt a familiar hand rest on top of the space between her shoulder blades, it applied light pressure onto her muscle, it began to run up and down her back soothing her inside and out but also making her body shiver.
He was touching her. So gentle yet protective, like he had to let Nick know she was spoken for. She shifted in her seat, tugging her lip at the small friction she got from the chair. She needed to cool down. "Where's the bathroom?"
"Go straight down the hall and make a right, and it should be the first door."
YN excused herself and headed inside, she followed the instructions she was given and successfully found the bathroom door, she turned the knob but a cracked door not too far down caught her peripheral vision and curiosity began brewing inside. She looked back to make sure she was alone and headed down to the room. A small lamp was on illuminating the room, it was a small area— maybe a reading room considering there were lots of books on a shelf against the wall.
She furthered her exploration as she walked inside leaving the door cracked in case. She stumbled upon old pictures of who she could only assume was Rio and others of maybe his brother or cousin or whatever he is.
She softly smiled at a picture that reminded her of Marcus.
"What are you doin' in here?"
A gasp left her throat, she spun around to face Rio leaning against the door frame. "Sorry, I just... got a little curious."
"It's cool." He shrugged. Yn turned back around to continue her tour. Rio left his position, his footsteps were hushed due to the carpeting inside, he crept up behind her-- chest mere inches away from her back, the smell of her hair products infiltrated his senses. She could feel his body heat radiating onto her. "You used to be so cute." She mumbled pointing to the photos. "Used to? So, I'm not cute no more?"
Yn turned around in the minimum space that she had between his body and the shelf. He was awfully close. Close enough she could see every individual piece of hair on his moustache and every shade of pink on his lips. Her doe eyes wandered up to his dark ones, the desire and lust oozed out of them. Their bodies pressed together heatedly as their lips softly collided, both hesitant at first, a little kiss and pull away until Yn tugged on his shirt bringing him back where he belonged.
She was just as hungry for this feeling as he was, his lips were soft and warm-- so sweet and delicate with her. Rio almost melted into her. A warm feeling ignited inside of him, something he hadn't felt in a long time, maybe it was love or lust but he'd figure that shit out later right now he just wanted to stay in this moment. His hands ran down her dress, hiking the bottom up to meet the top of her thighs. He cupped her thigh and gently held her leg up dipping her further against the shelf.
"Rio..." She softly moaned between smooches. She wanted him to have her in any and every way that he wanted. A sudden loud crash came from the kitchen which startled the two. They pulled away but still held each other close. "Mmm, I guess we should go back," Yn whined. Rio planted one last quick kiss before fixing her dress, the two straightened themselves out and he turned to exit but she gripped his wrist.
"Can I ask you something?" He nodded giving her his full attention. "Why did you really bring me here?"
He looked down at his shoes, he couldn't keep the cat in the bag forever. "I wanted my people to meet someone who's important to me and Marcus."
"But mostly to you?" She teased. He sucked his teeth. "Shut up." He slipped his wrist out of her grasp and instead intertwined their fingers. They made their way back to the crowd, sitting back in their original spots. She could feel those same eyes staring at her from across the table but she'd ignore it.
But she didn't know how deep things were about to get.

→ He was at unease, and his family could tell.
→ Throughout his stay, from learning to control his lungs underwater, to losing Neteyam in the fight against the colonel, he needed you.
Short imagine
Lo’ak felt lost. After laying his brother with the ocean na’vis ancestors, he knew it was his home. It was a quiet day, him and his parents sitting in their home, as kiri and tuk played in the water.
As Lo’ak sat beside Jake, he saw something appear in the sky. It was a helicopter, from the labs back in pandora. Jake and Neytiri stood up, pulling the attention of the girls away from the water, and towards the sky.
Jake and Neytiri made their way to the shore, where all the clan were stood about cautiously, some with weapons raised. Jake nodded at Tonowari, and he ordered for his clan to lower their weapons. Lo’ak was still confused, and then it hit him.
You had come to find him.
Jake smiled down at his son with his hand on Lo’aks shoulder, as you stepped down from the helicopter, scanning the crowd for Lo’ak. Lo’ak swiftly pulled away from his dad and sprinted towards you at full speed.
Before you even had a chance to really look at the boy, he had you in his arms, his grasp tight around your body. He swung you around, not wanting to let you go. You laughed as he placed you back on the ground, you finally being able to look at him in the eyes, your hands placed loosely on his waist, his clinging to your forearms.
“You found me” Lo’ak said with a smile
“I found you” you replied
You gaze turned to the rest of the sully family, as Tuk ran towards you, Kiri not far behind.
“Y/N!” They both shouted, tackling you in a massive hug. Lo’ak is quick to put his arms beneath you to stablise you from the two excited girls, Tuk wrapping her arms around your legs. You softly smiled at Jake and Neytiri behind the girls heads, them smiling back.
Alternative endings, one may hurt more than the other
1. Once the girls got their hugs in and you were greeted and welcomed by the clan, Lo’ak pulled you away, to show you your new home. You were able to stay with them due to new technology that had been developed back at the lab, and he, and you, were both finally at peace.
2. You scanned the crowd of people once more, past Jake and Neytiri, your eyes failing to fall on the one person that was missing.
“Wait, where is Neteyam?”

where nothing hurts and nothing breaks
one piece word count: 3k written for the its pirates server sake exchange ! my other giftee was @incomprehensi-bull who asked for zoro and sanji interaction. sal i really hope you enjoy this <;3 title borrowed from safe by banners

x
“Remember,” the pretty girl with tangerine-colored hair says for the fifth time, her smile a fixed, gritted thing on her face, “Sanji is very small right now. The Devil’s Fruit effect isn’t going to wear off for another week at least. If you try to roughhouse with him the way you usually do, he will get hurt, and I will kill you with my hands. Understood?”
“You could try,” the green-haired man replies mildly.
“Why are we leaving Zoro in charge of babysitting again?” the man with the long nose says, to no one in particular. “I mean, we can all agree that this is going to be an absolute disaster, right?”
Zoro scowls, but the skeleton says, “Right,” at the same time the man with the long white hair and bright orange horns says, “I mean, yeah,” and everyone else nods along.
Yonji would have been furious to be made fun of in any capacity. Sanji holds his breath and waits for Zoro to snap at the rest of them, to use his size against everyone smaller than he is, but all he does is lean back against the railing and cross his arms. He looks unbothered to the point of falling asleep standing up.
It’s weird.
“I’m not a baby,” Sanji thinks it’s important to point out. He’s eight years old, which is a lot of years. He thinks his years are longer than most people’s, because he hasn’t felt like the little kid he used to be in ages. That little kid grew up when mama died.
“We know,” the tall woman tells him, her eyes very gentle. She always looks at Sanji like she understands him completely. It’s nice, even if it makes him feel kind of sad. He wonders if she had big brothers who hated her, too, or if it was just her dad. He thinks it wouldn’t be polite to ask, so he doesn’t. “You’re practically a gentleman.”
“Sanji can come shopping with us if he wants!” the reindeer says eagerly. He’s sitting on the robot’s broad shoulder and pats it like he’s inviting Sanji up there, too. They’re both small enough that Sanji could probably fit even without asking the rabbit-girl on the robot’s other shoulder to get down to make room.
Weathered yellow fills his vision as the brim of a worn straw hat slips over his eyes.
“Nope, it’s Zoro’s turn!” the captain replies brightly. That’s Luffy, with a scar under his eye that curves like a smile, and arms that don’t really look strong but can hold Sanji forever without getting tired. Sanji tips the hat back in time to look up at Luffy’s grinning face. “He and Sanji will have fun today and tonight they can tell us all about it!”
Everyone heaves a sigh, but no one argues. Luffy doesn’t throw his weight around like Captain Chas on The Orbit does, but he’s very stubborn in a way that reminds Sanji of the spoiled little kids on the cruise ship who get underfoot at dinner and demand dessert before all their vegetables are gone. In similar fashion, Luffy mostly gets his way because his crew loves him too much to deny him. It’s a strange sort of authority for a pirate captain to have, but it seems to work for them just fine.
Sure enough, Zoro’s shoulders go back just a little, and he levels Luffy with one unblinking dark eye. Accepting the terms and conditions.
Sanji tries not to be nervous. It isn’t fair to compare Zoro and Yonji just because they look similar.
Zoro looks like the kind of person Yonji is going to grow up to be—has grown up to be, somewhere else in this strange future Sanji is living in—and he seems to enjoy scathing arguments as much as Yonji does, too. But he hasn’t hurt anyone smaller than him that Sanji has seen.
In fact, the smallest member of the crew clambers around on Zoro like he’s a walking jungle-gym, and scolds him viciously when he doesn’t take care of himself, and looks up at him with round, bright eyes all the rest of the time. Chopper acts as though Zoro is among the very last people in the world he would ever have cause to fear.
Sanji’s so used to being afraid that he hardly knows how else to be. The people here who call themselves his real family make it hard to be, though. He absorbs their brightness and silliness and fondness every day and slowly learns how to stop holding his breath.
The Sunny is docked for the day at a busy, bustling resort island, with enough lights and billboards that you can see the shine of it for miles across the water. There’s a big map on the wharf, twice as tall as Franky, that notes all the places of interest—shrines up in the mountains, a sprawling sea-side spa to the west, an amusement park further inland, the bright green and yellow loops of a rollercoaster visible above everything else, and hundreds of shops and restaurants scattered all in between.
The Strawhats—that’s who these pirates were, who Sanji himself was, apparently—split up in twos and threes where the road forked but Sanji and Zoro didn’t even make it that far, because there was a market selling produce and all kinds of fresh fish and local goodies right there in the port, and Sanji only had to cast one curious look toward a cart towering with brightly-colored fruits for Zoro to start walking that way. He clears a path for Sanji through the bustling crowd like it’s nothing.
“If you buy more than you carry, don’t cry to me about it,” Zoro says in the same indifferent tone he says everything in.
“I won’t!” Sanji promises, not sure if he means he won’t buy that much or he won’t cry about it.
He was given money—real, actual Bellies—and told in no uncertain terms to come find Nami if he ran out. He doesn’t see how he could! There’s so much in the bag she gave him!
He says as much to Zoro, half-afraid to spend it all just in case it was a mistake. Zoro replies, “Our grocery budget is half of what it usually is while our cook is on vacation. We’re eating simple.” He nudges Sanji’s head with his elbow without taking his hands out of his pockets. “We don’t usually survive off sandwiches and eggs and soup, you know.”
Sanji figured that must be true, because of how grand their ship is, and because his grown-up friends seem to have fun taking turns cooking meals but they’re just clueless enough in the kitchen that it’s obvious they don’t spend a lot of time in there.
“I can cook,” Sanji says for what feels like the hundredth time. “I can cook for all of you.”
“What part of ‘vacation’ did you miss?” Zoro tells him without missing a beat. “Shut up and look at that weird fish.”
Sanji looks before he can help it. That sure is a weird fish! He forgets to keep arguing his case in favor of darting over to ask the fishmonger a dozen rapid-fire questions about their catch that they answer cheerfully.
Contrary to what he said before, Zoro carries all the shopping. The vendors hand the goods over Sanji’s head every time, even though he’s the one forking over the gold for it. The swordsman is very big and strong, and probably all those parcels and purchases weigh absolutely nothing to him, but it’s the principle of the thing.
Sanji tries to imagine Yonji carrying anything for him at all just to be nice. The daydream falls apart instantly, because Yonji only ever took things from Sanji to break them.
“Do you promise you’ll give it back?” he musters the courage to ask, clinging to the cookbook a kind old woman just sold him, unwilling to let it go without making sure. She had smiled and said she was certain her family’s recipes would be in good hands with him and Sanji doesn’t want to prove her wrong before he gets a chance to even try. “You have to promise.”
Zoro gazes down at him with that inscrutable look on his face he’s worn all day. He could probably take the book from Sanji pretty easily but he doesn’t yank it away or twist his wrist until he lets go. They just stand there, sizing each other up. Sanji’s nerves mount with every second but he doesn’t back down.
Yonji would have hurt him already and laughed about it. The first mate of the Strawhat crew simply says, after enough time that Sanji knows he’s taken it seriously, “Promise.”
Surprised, Sanji lets the book go, and watches it get tucked away in an oversized tote bag with the rest of his little treasures. Then Zoro just stands there looking at him, one eyebrow higher than the other, waiting for Sanji to go chasing after the next thing that catches his eye.
Back on the Sunny, Zoro was goaded easily into fights with his friends, and seemed short-tempered any time he wasn’t napping on the grassy deck or drinking from bottles Sanji wasn’t allowed to touch. He didn’t cause problems on purpose, the way Sanji’s younger brother enjoyed doing, but he seemed to have sharp edges and Sanji didn’t know how to get close to him without getting pricked.
But he thinks about how Chopper looks at Zoro. He thinks about the mice in the castle that would run from his siblings but cozy up in Sanji’s hands. Animals know. And then he thinks about the way Luffy trusts Zoro, how he doesn’t have to look to know Zoro will be right where he needs him. Everyone on the crew is quick to tease him and make fun and none of them are scared.
Zoro could have gone with Luffy and the others, but he’s spending the day with Sanji instead. He hasn’t even been mean about it. Sanji abruptly feels really bad about not handing the cookbook over right away.
“My brother has green hair,” he blurts, then stares at the cobblestones beneath his shoes in acute mortification. Why did he say that?
“I know,” the swordsman says, the last thing on earth Sanji expected him to say. “I heard all about your brothers.”
He says it like he’s not impressed by them in the slightest. It’s a weird way for someone to talk about Sanji’s brothers—they’re the best, they’re everything they were supposed to be, and Sanji is the one that went wrong.
Abruptly, Zoro points at a bench. “Go sit. I think your blood sugar is getting low. If you pass out on me, I’ll never hear the end of it.”
Sanji finds himself bundled onto the bench with the tote bag in his lap. Zoro set it there as if it was a paperweight that would keep Sanji from blowing off somewhere. That was kind of annoying! Sanji isn’t a baby and he isn’t gonna run off by himself, he’s not stupid.
But the swordsman is only gone for a few minutes when Sanji’s attention is grabbed by something across the street. There’s a grizzled-looking man lounging in the shade of his stall, flicking through what looks like a waterlogged ledger. There are a bunch of crates and cages stacked around him that are empty—except for one.
There’s a distressed bird crammed into a cage so small that it can’t move except to shuffle in place, its head ducked so that its long narrow beak doesn’t hit the bars. It’s making a harsh ticking noise, high and tight and anxious. Sanji shoves the bag off his knees and jumps to his feet, weaving through the crowd and ducking down to his hands and knees before the man behind the stall clocks him. He crawls the rest of the way to the birdcage and lifts it down from the cart into his lap.
The bird stops vocalizing, looking up at him with darting black eyes, its chest heaving. Sanji whispers, “I know how you feel. Let me help.”
But there’s a lock on the cage, and even as Sanji tugs at it, he knows it’s useless. He’s decided to just take the cage away with him when a fist closes in the back of his jacket and he’s hauled all the way off his feet.
He yelps, flailing in midair, and only barely manages not to drop the bird.
“The hell do you think you’re doing?” the man asks, sounding more bewildered than angry. He wrenches the cage out of Sanji’s hands and then drops him.
Sanji lands with an oof on the street, and he automatically curls his limbs in, making himself a smaller target. If he tucks his fingers into fists and hides them under his arms, there’s less of a chance his brothers will break them just for fun. He curls his hands into fists but he doesn’t hide them. The fear is in the back of his mind, but it’s not the loudest thing in there. He’s lived on the Sunny for days now where bravery and goodness come before everything and he must have absorbed some of that, because he’s shaking under the sharp eyes of a big, unfriendly stranger, but he still says, “You should let it go.”
“What was that?”
“You’re not taking good care of it,” Sanji says, louder, “so you should let it go.”
The man’s mouth twists in an unkind sneer. “And I should just toss my Bellies into the Blue while I’m at it, eh? That’s not how it works, whelp.”
The bird is moving around in the cage again, making that dry clicking noise again and rucking its orange and blue feathers up in its anxious bid to get free or somehow create more space. Sanji remembers being tossed behind bars, no respite and no rescue and no one left in his life who cared if he was hungry or cold or afraid. He can feel the metal helmet that encased his head as clearly as if it’s still there. He remembers crying so hard it made him lightheaded, clinging to those bars and wishing he was anything like his siblings, if only so he was strong enough to save himself.
“It’s not your bird, it’s its own bird,” Sanji shouts. “It wants out!”
The man shifts his weight. Maybe he was going to step forward, or turn around and go back behind his stall, or maybe he wasn’t going to move at all. Sanji will never know, because at that moment a shadow falls over him, and he knows without having to look that Zoro has come back.
“There a reason he’s on the ground?” Zoro asks. He almost sounds conversational. “Hope it’s a good one.”
The man obviously feels much differently about giving Zoro the same attitude he gave Sanji. He hesitates to answer right away, staring up at the swordsman the way that little bird probably stared up at him when he stuffed it into that stupid little cage. The way Sanji looks up at Judge and hopes for anything else besides what he knows is going to happen.
“He started helping himself to my wares,” the man settles for saying. “Maybe you ought to teach him a bit about how the world works before you let him loose on it. He’s gonna get himself into trouble running his mouth at the wrong guy.”
Sanji is waiting for the moment when he’ll have to defend himself, to make his case, but it never comes. Zoro doesn’t even ask what happened, he just plants himself like a tree in the middle of the confrontation and lets Sanji shelter safely in his shadow, as steady and immovable as the castle walls of Germa Kingdom.
“And are you the wrong guy?” Zoro says, very interested in the answer. He’s got some grilled skewers in one hand and the tote bag that Sanji abandoned in the other, but even without easy access to the swords at his hip, he is not a person anyone would want to get on the wrong side of. That grumpy sleeping dragon that lounges lazily on the deck of the Sunny is gone and the creature left behind is wide-awake and hungry.
Speaking a little faster, the man says, “Look, mate, I’m just trying to make a living here. If I gave away my beasts every time a tender-hearted little brat teared up over them, I’d be out of business.”
Zoro just says, “He’s eight years old and already more of a man than you’ll ever be. You put your hand on him, and you still have your hand. That is more good luck than most people get in a lifetime. Make it count.”
Sanji is not actually surprised when the man snatches up his ledger book and the handle of his cart, ready to make tracks. The bird is left behind, and Sanji picks himself up and hurries over to scoop the cage back into his arms. The bird makes a sound at him like something is rattling in his throat, but it sounds slightly calmer than before.
When he looks up at Zoro, he finds Zoro already gazing back down at him. He holds out the birdcage and says, “There’s a lock. Will you help?”
“I could break it open, but it might cut itself on the metal. It’s not safe to let it out here, anyway,” Zoro says. “Let’s head back home and get Usopp to pick it open. For now carry it in one hand and eat some of these, tough guy.”
Sanji agreeably accepts a skewer of grilled squid and walks close enough to Zoro that he bumps into him every couple of steps. The bird sticks its beak through the bars and snaps at one of the curly tentacles, sneaking a bite so cleanly that Sanji laughs in sheer delight. He shares the rest of that skewer, as well as the next one Zoro passes him with pieces of tender zucchini and shrimp.
“Didn’t know you liked birds,” he says.
“I don’t really,” Sanji says. “I just like this one. Do you know what kind it is?”
“Robin will,” Zoro replies with the unremarkable certainty in his nakama that Sanji is still in the middle of learning. “What makes this one so special?”
“We understand each other, that’s all,” Sanji says. He focuses on keeping the hungry beak away from his fingers when he adds, “I was in a cage, too.”
Zoro stops walking. Sanji doesn’t want to look up at him and see the face that he’s making, because then he won’t be able to force the truth out. And he wants to. He feels safe enough to do that now, for the first time since he woke up in this strange, bright, wonderful, silly family. He thought it would be Luffy he told, or Robin, or little Chopper, but it’s not any of them.
It’s Zoro. The one who lets his siblings crawl all over him and poke fun and start fights, and only ever turns his teeth on any person outside their family who means them harm. The one who never steps in where he isn’t wanted, but keeps careful watch for the moment that he’s needed. Of course it’s him.
“My brothers are mean to me,” he admits in a whisper. “Yonji likes to hurt me. I’m sorry I thought you were like him. You’re not.”
There’s a moment of stillness, the two of them standing in an out-of-the-way corner, the noise and bustle of the market all pushed into the background. And then, without warning, for the second time that day, Sanji is lifted right off his feet. He squeaks in surprise, but he’s settled on Zoro’s shoulders a second later, and grips at his green hair to steady himself with the hand that isn’t clutching the birdcage.
He stares, wide-eyed, out at this view he’s never been given before.
“Next time we see your brother, I’ll beat him up,” Zoro says without preamble. “I won’t stop until you’re satisfied. And that’s a promise.”
Sanji hugs the bird closer, and breathes in a deep lungful of air that tastes like salt and brine and certain freedom. He can see the ocean from here, and their colorful ship bobbing on the water, waiting for them no matter how far away they wander.
“But you’re on your own with Nami when she sees that bird,” the swordsman adds plainly.
Sanji holds the little bird a little closer and smiles. He understands his nakama much better now than he did even earlier this morning. Zoro might say one thing, but he really means another. Sanji is not on his own at all. Maybe he hasn’t been on his own in a long time.
(A week later, with the Devil's Fruit effects finally negated, Sanji is searing scallops in the kitchen, following one of the recipes in his new cookbook, and Zoro is day-drinking at the table, and Stella the common kingfisher is sticking her nosy beak into spice jars where it doesn't belong.
Sanji says, “I’m releasing you from your promise.” When Zoro glances at him, he adds, “You don’t have to beat up my brother. I’m more than capable of doing that myself.”
For a moment, the swordsman doesn’t speak. He and Luffy can have entire conversations in a few seconds of absolute silence, but Sanji is not quite there yet. He waits with newfound patience for Zoro to come to whatever decision he’s making, rewarded when Zoro says, “No, I’m going to. I have it on good authority that he was mean to a friend of mine.”
Sanji scoffs and looks away, busying himself with the food, so that no one sees his helpless smile except for the obnoxious little bird that his present friend harangued Nami into letting him keep.)

MY EYES... MY TEARY EYES! 🥹
ABOUT ELVIS AND GLADYS' BOND. ♥
Tumblr media Tumblr media
"Watching the snow reminded me of Elvis' mother. She used to say that if snowed in Memphis when Elvis was gone, she always went outside and gathered up enough in a pan to make snowballs for Elvis to see when he came back. She put them in the freezer of the refrigerator to keep. Elvis loved to see it snow at Graceland." Excerpts from "Elvis: This One's For You" by Arlene Cogan.
Tumblr media
No wonder why EP missed his mother dearly. There's many types of moms but the Gladys type of mommy is a true blessing - the ones which heart's that almost burst while trying to make you feel their love for you. It's almost a physical need to pour love in their children every way they can. Towards their children, they have all love languages at once: words of encouragement, sound advice, physical touch/cuddles, actions… It's suffocating, but in a wonderful way. Gladys Love Presley was the sweetest mom anyone could wish for. EP was fortunate in many ways - starting from his family - but what a misfortune was to lose Gladys so early in his life. Love is a dangerous splendid thing anyway. It's best to have it and lose it than never being touched by it. Gladys' love for her son was bigger than life anyway. ♥ -- Note: The excerpt from that book reminded me this footage below, where Gladys is playing with the snow with Vernon (C. January, 1958). There's also another book that mentions her saving some snow so that Elvis could see it later when he came back home (i don't remember what book, unfortunately, but I've read this before).

Above, pictures takes in 1957, during "Loving You" movie production. Gladys actually appears on the big screen for a few seconds in this Presley early movie. EP dances next to her while singing "Got A Lot O' Livin' To Do" by the end of the movie… It's so cute!

Photo 5-13: March 23-24th, 1958
Elvis was about to be inducted in the US Army. The photos showing the Presley's alone were taken March 23rd, a day before Elvis' army induction day. On the actual induction day, on March 24th (pictures 11-13), there's footage where EP's hopping a bus together with other fellow guys, heading to the army camp to the beginning of the basic trainning and his 2-year epic journey as Private Presley in the U.S. Army. Gladys was visibly shaken and heartbroken to see her beloved son go away and the reason why. Some family members and friends said Gladys was terrified thinking about the horrors of World War II that she seriously feared for Elvis' life and well-being as a soldier. She never got over it, even though Elvis and everybody else tried to convince her nothing was going to happen, after all they were living at the Cold War period, therefore there wasn't reasonable reasons in being anxiously alarmed. Nothing seemed to comfort Gladys. We know she sadly passed away on August, 1958, a few months after Elvis was inducted in the army. Years later, EP would say to one of his intimate acquaintances "my mommy really worried to death." It's so sad... in a poetic way. IDK what I'm talking about right now… It's like she couldn't live without her little boy, literally. Gladys was so close to her son! The reciprocity is true. She was the only person EP trusted blindfolded, with all his heart, body, mind and soul. Gladys only had the best intentions for her son. She didn't care about the money or fame. She actually asked him many time if it wouldn't be better/safer if he gave up his career and just became a business man, a owner of some local company in Memphis/TN, got married, had his own family, and lived a nice, calm, Southern life. EP used to get upset with that "nonsense" talk, because he loved his career greatly and everything was working out just fine for him... he was in love with his music and his fans. He was born to be the King of Rock and Roll and he worked very hard for it every single day. It wasn't right to chicken up. He wouldn't give it up his career, even for his beloved mommy. Yet, Gladys couldn't help herself but to worry something bad could happen if she was not by his side 24/7. A typical loving mom behavior. Even when she acted overprotective like that and drove Elvis insane sometimes, it was all out of the purest heavenly true love... and he knew it.
Although she was uneasy most of the time, thinking about Elvis' well being, the constant travelling on the road all the time, having tabloids badmouthing him, a portion of American society threatening to put him in jail, crazy passionate fans scratching the hell out of him, trying to touch him to the point they'd tear his clothes off his body, even so Gladys supported Elvis' career and was by his side whatever he decided to do. He knew how blessed he was having her for his mother, and Elvis did his best to protect his mommy's heart - even by hiding some of the bad happenings in his life from her. He wouldn't let anything break her heart... even himself.
Yet, so soon the day came when she was gone. Elvis never ceased missing his mommy.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Shantay Perrish, a dedicated fan shared the following story: "We arrived about 7:00 pm that following evening and were shocked to see Elvis leaving on his Harley with a blue flower arrangement strapped to the rear. I quickly went to the guard house shack and asked Harold Lloyd, "Is that who I think it was?" Harold said, "Yes that was Elvis, but don't follow him." We waited there and he returned to Graceland within the hour. Earlier that day we had gone to pay our respect to his mother at Forest Hill, never thinking of Elvis possibly showing up. The next morning we again went to Forest Hill Cemetery and there on Gladys grave was the arrangement of blue flowers we had seen the night before on the motorcycle. Elvis had been to visit his mother in a quiet personal moment."
Photos and excerpt from the book "Elvis Behind the Image."
This event possibly took place circa August 11th, 1977. A few days before Elvis Presley sadly passed away on August 16th. The photo 1 shows Elvis leaving Graceland that day and the photo 2 is Gladys' grave site with the blue flower arrangement he placed there for his mommy for one last time. Elvis assured to send flowers there often over the years since Gladys' passing, but this time he delivered it there himself. Isn't intriguing, to say the least?
Oh, mama liked the roses but most of all she cared About the way we learned to live And if we said our prayers Oh, mama liked the roses in such a special way We bring them every Mother's Day And put them on her grave Oh, mama liked the roses Mmmm Mama liked the roses

A Life Bartered Part 1
Parker Selfridge held his head as his elbows were on his table. This shit was going out of control. Ain't this a bitch?
Navis found out where the base was. They started attacking and stealing the drones, choppers and other stuff in the parking lot.
All because of the Helen of Troy. Name and Last Name.
Many letters were sent ordering him to give you to the Navi or they will not ceasefire. Selfridge would easily give you to those savages. But, there was one problem. You were the love interest of the head of security.
Of all people.
He summoned the Colonel to his office.
The said man was annoyed being called on. He was on his break lifting weights and was interrupted. He arrived to the office wearing a tank top.
What happened now? More savage attacks and thefts?
Parker looked at the Colonel's eyes and gulped. Selfridge was scared of his own employee. But he refused to show it.
"Another letter asking for her. For the sake of the staff. Give her up."
The colonel tensed and clenched his jaw.
"it's your job as head of security to protect us all. This girl is using her looks to sway you for favors for the labs. Isn't that right?'
The Colonel bitterly knew you spread your former virgin legs for him to benefit that hippie loving program. Using your beauty for a list of wants.
The colonel didn't admit it. But, he loved you. He knew you didn't. He caught you staring at a young man who was a limp dick scientist. The young man was handsome .
The Colonel admitted he sometimes felt insecure of his age. He was perhaps the oldest man in the base and he was with the youngest staff member in base. A fresh new adult.
He thought he hit the jackpot when you offered yourself to him. Sadly, he forgot the rule of life despite preaching the rules of Pandora.
There is no free lunch.
Your beauty must have caught the eye of a blue monkey.
The colonel smelled bestiality.
Ain't this a bitch?
He sighed exhausted and pinched the bridge of his straight nose.
Will he give you up? His subordinates' lives were at stake. His honor and independence as a man too. He was ashamed of being looked down by others as weak for a damn woman.
Pushing feelings aside he listed the pros and cons. You were a sex crazed seductress. Made for carnal desire. A devil in disguise. Unhealthy for any man.
A gold digging whore.
You will never love him. He bitterly accepted the painful truth. He tried to win you over. Acting romantic so you can open your heart and then give it to him.
You took his heart instead. A fuckin' thief.
He nodded.
"I can do that."
...........................
The Colonel announced he will take you to another field trip in the jungle. Selfridge communicated with the enemy and was given the instructions on where to drop you off.
You didn't know what was going on.
The colonel acted strange.
Of course the Colonel would have his way with you every night. Normally, he would sleep with you then wake up early and leave before you woke up.
Today, He slept in with you this morning. He then fucked you again. Like he wasn't going to see you again.
He looked sad. After he rolled off of you last night, he gathered you close to lay your head on his muscular chest.
He placed his chin on top of your head and stroked your arm.
Normally, he wouldn't shut up. He would talk about his hate towards the Navis and his boss.
And insult your group of friends. if he had extra energy after sex, he would talk about his remaining living relatives in Europe.
You didn't love him. So, you didn't bother to ask what was wrong.
You hated him because he would persuade the boss to cut the funding. You bitterly found out he planned this to get you to warm his bed. A cunning snake.
The Colonel and his squad walked deep in the jungle with you following them.
The Colonel turned to you. He placed his hands on your shoulders and gently pushed you down to sit on the grass.
You looked up at his standing form from your sitting position with curiosity.
Fuck. Those damn eyes. So cute and innocent.
No, you weren't innocent.
You used your beauty to sway people to get what you want like a spoiled brat. Succubus.
He felt foolish falling under your spell and charms.
He reached out and itched the side of your right scalp. You almost purred in pleasure. The Colonel crouched down on his knees and did it.
In front of his men. He inhaled a breath and removed his mask then gently grabbed your face then kissed you square in the face.
The squad stared awkwardly.
They didn't know what was going on either. Only Lyle. He looked at you with pity. Poor girl.
The colonel finally separated himself then strapped his mask back on and without looking at you, he stood up and began to walk away.
His squad followed leaving you alone.
You stared confused. Then you heard it. Whoops and yips came and a group of warrior Navi men started walking to you. You stood up scared. The chopper suddenly floated up and left.
A Navi warrior walked up to you. You tried to run. But he grabbed your arm easily. "you are finally mine. My prize."
No. You realized the truth. Suddenly you wished for the Colonel to rescue you. But, it's too late. He left you.
Vulnerable and helpless. This was your punishment. You suspected that the Colonel might actually loved you. But you were only with him for benefits.
Now, this is what you get for playing with ones feelings and breaking his heart
The Colonel silently walked to his room. He ignored all eyes and didn't give an order. The squad usually talked and joked. But now were quiet.
The princess is gone.
The Colonel sat on his bed then stared around the room. Your lovely scent still lingered. Your photos in picture frames on top of his dresser.
He covered his face with his hands with his elbows on his knees. He let himself actually shed tears.
What has he done?

I am very sorry
Pair: Jake sully x human daughter
Warning: None. Kinda sad, Bad relationship, respect, reconciliation.
+REQUEST "Here"+
Note: This request is a bit sad. It cost me to make jake a bit of a suck dad. Because I know he would never be a bad father, he would never despise any of his children. But I did my best, I hope you like this oneshot.
Tumblr media
Having a child was never jake's first choice when he came to pandora. So he was very surprised when your mother told him she was expecting his baby. Your father and mother met on the base at one of those parties that the base buddy group used to throw. Lots of drinking, dancing. It was all crazy, so it was no wonder Jake ended up with the first pretty girl who flirted with him. Your mother was from the security team that released quarictch. So he introduced them both to each other. There was no love, just two people who wanted to have a good time. A good time that turned you into you. A baby who was not wanted by her father or her mother.
So when Jake went off into the jungle with Grace, and your mother went to do her security work, you were left alone in a base full of people. You were left alone on a base full of people who barely knew how to take care of you. Of course, you were accompanied by another child that had been born, spider. At least he had someone to love him. After the altercations, when the humans were sent to earth. It was more than obvious that Jake would have to stay with you, your mother was dead and you were too young to travel. You were only 6 months old. Jake asked for help from Norm, he couldn't have you in the jungle with him. How were you going to breathe the air of Pandora, plus Neytiri would not accept a human child. She understood that you were Jake's daughter, but no… she had her limits.
You began to grow up…and of course you began to notice the difference between you and your now new half-siblings. Why could they live with your father, why couldn't you go to your father's house? Why did he love them more? Jake was always harder on you, training you harder, talking to you more harshly and even showing you little affection. But that didn't stop you from trying to get his love. But how could he love a girl he had never wanted. Who was a living reminder of his previous life. If he had a beautiful family now. Norm had taken care of you, he did the best he could. Compared to spider, you were very shy and quiet. Reserved in your business…always afraid to dislike your father. You didn't have a bad relationship with your siblings, they had always liked and loved you. Very much so. But sometimes even they could tell the differences between the two of you.
"Look, dad made this bracelet for me, the same as the one he has. He made one for all of us siblings," says Kiri. They were only 10 years old, and they were sitting playing with some toys. Jake was sitting not far away, he was with norm. "It's very pretty," you say, taking Kiri's hand and looking at the pretty bracelet your sister had. For a moment you look at your wrist and see it empty. "Why don't you have one?" asks Kiri, the question was innocent. You look at your sister curiously and raise your shoulders. "I don't know… maybe dad didn't want to make one for me" you say. Kiri is a little surprised, and gets up and runs to her father. Jake sees Kiri come up to him and opens his arms to hug her. You are walking slowly behind Kiri. Keeping your distance, you knew dad never offered you a hug.
"Why doesn't Y/N have a bracelet… she's my sister too," asks Kiri. Jake is a little surprised, and gives a quick glance at your face. You watch as your father looks at you nervously. "Oh… I forgot. But I promise I'll make one for her" says Jake, this answer was enough to calm Kiri down, but for you it was the beginning of many promises that your father wasn't going to keep. Like going for a walk with you, or spending that night with you. He never showed up, yet you went to look for him in the family hut. That day he had promised to visit you, but it had already been 3 hours and he didn't show up, "uncle norm… dad is taking too long" you complained. Waiting for your father sitting in the lab. "I know…but he'll come quietly" says Norm, he knew Jake wasn't going to show up anytime soon. He always did this, but it didn't stop you from getting up and running to the hut where he knew your father would be.
When you arrived in the distance you noticed that everyone was inside so you approached. The first to notice your presence was neteyam who quickly got up to hug you. "Y/n!!! y/n!!!" says the boy, excited that his sis is there. Jake and neytiri noticed your presence. " Dad!!!" you greet him with a huge smile on your face, you loved your father so much. You watch as neytiri takes jake by the arm. As she whispered something in his ear, something you could hear. "I don't want her here…go somewhere else" says neytiri. Your face changes to one of sadness in a matter of seconds…you knew she didn't like you. But was the disappointment that much? You watch as your father approaches you, kneeling in front of you. "Dad…you said you were going to visit me" you speak. Jake strokes his face and sighs. "I know…but I'm busy right now" Jake says.
"Y/N can stay and play" shouts lo'ak from the other side of the hut. You were getting excited by lo'ak's comment, but you see your father's face turn serious. "Y/n go to the lab…I'll come another day to visit you" says jake, taking your arm to pull you a little away from the entrance. "But dad…you said that last time" you start to speak, you couldn't stop the tears from gathering in your eyes. Neytiri sees the situation and moves a little closer to Jake. "I will go tomorrow…ok? Just go and rest" Jake tries to convince you. "But I want to be with you" you raise your arms, to try to give him a hug. But jake pulls away… you whine silently, while your little eyes start to leak. "Why don't you love me?" you ask your father. Jake stays silent and gives neytiri a look. The woman signals him to answer. "I…I" Jake tries to speak. "You never loved me…you don't love me. Why? WHY?" you scream, and cry. At this point you were having a meltdown. You were a 10 year old girl, who just wanted to go for a walk with her father.
Jake was under a lot of pressure. You were crying, you wouldn't stop. So the first thing that came out of his mouth was something that marked your whole existence. "Because I have my family…they are my family. You…you're just you" says Jake, shouting a little. Your tears stop immediately, looking up to see your father. You wipe your tears a little. "I'm sorry… I don't mean to upset you" you speak, lowering your gaze. Jake didn't know what to say, he had just made a mistake. And now he didn't know what to do. Norm had gone out looking for you, and to his bad luck he had heard everything. So when you turn to go back to the lab, you run into Norm. You run to him, raising your arms so he can carry you, Norm takes you in his arms, and gives you a tight hug. As you begin to cry. Norm gives Jake a disappointed look and continues on his way back to the lab.
"Why did you say that?" says Neytiri. Jake turns to look at neytiri. "I didn't mean it… it's just that" Jake feels bad. He knows he didn't have to treat you like that, you weren't to blame for anything. You were just a child. "She's still your daughter… and always will be," says Neytiri walking away from her partner. Leaving Jake lost in thought. This is what marked an awkward beginning to the relationship you and Jake had. You grew up always trying to get his attention and always expecting something from him. You tried to keep up with your brothers. Always chasing them wherever they went. Watching how your father practiced with them, how he spent time with them. How he would tell him how good they were, how proud he was of them. You always kept your distance, sitting on a rock. Watching and wishing he felt that way about you too. You didn't want to interrupt anything, so you got up and went back to the village.
You go to look for Kiri, you had planned to go for a walk with her to a nice meadow not too far away. When you arrive at the hut, you stand at the entrance. Neytiri sees your presence, the woman sees that you were stuck to one of the edges, somewhat confused. "Hello y/n" says neytiri. You greet her, and smile a little. Neytiri felt a little bad for you… It had been 15 years already, and she had to admit that she had grown very fond of you. Their contempt for you had disappeared. You were a very good and quiet girl. It bothered her a little that Jake didn't spend as much time with you as he did with his other children. "Come here…sit here" says neytiri inviting you to sit next to her. You join her, you see that neytiri is preparing something to eat. "Kiri went out for a moment, she will be right back" says neytiri. You start helping her, wrapping some kind of dough. "Were you with your father?" asks neytiri.
"Mmm yes… something like that" you speak sadly. Neytiri knows you only spy from a distance, she arranges a piece of hair behind your ear. You smile a little, you were glad to know that at least she did show a little affection for you. "Y/N are you here!!!!Let's go!!!" says kiri approaching the entrance of the hut. You look at neytiri. "Go…be very careful" says the woman as you get up, and run off with kiri.
"Where are we going?" you ask Kiri. "It's a surprise!!!" says your sister as you both walk through the branches of the trees. Luckily for you, you had become perfectly enveloped in the life of Pandora. You lived like a navi. You both arrived at a beautiful place, but so much beauty had to have some danger and that was the big cracks in the ground. Up in the trees, they are adorned by beautiful flora. There were all kinds of colors, the fauna lived in harmony and the temperature was perfect. You and Kiri settled on a branch and sat down to talk.
After a while you decided to walk a little, your legs were asleep. You moved around the branch, joking with Kiri. Everything was fine and it looked like it was going to be a quiet afternoon. Until you accidentally slip off the branch and fall from a height of 14 feet, falling directly into one of the cracks. Kiri tried to hold you up, but it all happened so fast. The girl quickly brings you to the ground, and sees that you are trapped. You had fallen very hard and the fall had been very hard. Your leg was broken, and because of the position you had fallen. You could not move easily. Kiri wanted to pull you out, but the pain you felt was overwhelming.
"Kiri help me!!!" you cry, while trying to hold Kiri's hand. The girl is on the ground, trying to pull you out of that hole. "I'm going to get dad… calm down!!!" says kiri, trying to reassure you. The girl runs to get her father. While you stood there, you knew it was serious. You couldn't move your left leg, you swear it had broken in two. Because the pain was consuming you. Tears welled up in your eyes as you tried to regulate your breathing. After 20 minutes, you hear screaming. "Y/N…Y/N!!!" You hear your father's voice. While you also hear neytiri calling your name. Kiri had run as fast as she could, to call her parents.
You see a head approaching the crevice. It was jake, the man was already on the ground. Stretching out his hand for you to grab. You with what little strength you had grab your father's hand. "I'm going to get you out of here…easy kiddo" He holds you tight as he slowly pulls you up. You cry out in pain, as he lifts you into the air. "Ahgg" a choked cry comes out of your throat, as he settles you on the ground. Where neytiri rushes over to you, caressing your face. "It's okay…you're going to be fine" The pain had become unbearable. You were crying and moaning. Jake could tell that the fraturation was severe, the bone had broken and torn a bit of your skin. And you were starting to bleed out.
He pulled out a piece of cloth he had around his waist. He was going to try to stop the bleeding, so he could take you back to the village. They put some pressure on the wound. You scream, and stand up on your shoulders pushing his hands. "Let go of me!!!" you scream. "Y/N…calm down" jake is a bit desperate, he had to do things fast, in order to stop the hermoragy. So he goes back to trying to put pressure on you. You start to cry more, your tears wouldn't stop. "Don't…don't hurt me. Don't do it" you cry, this makes Jake stop in his tracks. How would he hurt you? Is that what you thought of him? Neytiri noticing what was happening, pushes Jake away and takes care of the situation herself. In a few seconds you pass out. The pain was too much to bear.
As you stood up you could feel how sore your body was, you could also feel that your foot was bandaged. Norm had helped you, and healed you. Jake insisted that you rest in the family hut. You opened your eyes slowly, taking in your environment. You noticed that you were in your father's hut. You saw a familiar silhouette. Lo'ak was sitting next to you, stroking your hair. The boy noticing that you had woken up, calls out to his father. "Dad…she's awake" says your brother happy to see you better. Jake runs over to your side. Lo'ak gets up, running to call the other family members. "Y/N sweetheart…how are you feeling?" says Jake. You don't answer him. "Y/n…I want to apologize…for all these years. I know I haven't been the best father. But…I know I made a mistake. You're not to blame for anything" you're looking at your father, who was teary-eyed. "It was my mistake…please let me be a better father," Jake speaks, hoping for some answers. You take his hand and give it a squeeze. "I love you dad…forgive me" you speak, jake feels his heart break into a thousand pieces.
Jake comes over and gives you a hug. Then a kiss on the forehead. "Don't apologize…you don't have to. You should never apologize to me" jake gives you a kiss on your hand. It was going to take a long time for you two's relationship to strengthen and grow. It was going to be a long road, but at least now you knew your father could love you.

IMMEDIATE FOLLOW-UP Please share Little Sun CG Moon thoughts as well please!!!
EEEEEEEE REGRESSER SUN HEAD CANNONS/kinda
This is in response to this post where I made a Cg Sun and Lil Moon Agere Board with lil headconnons bc I got inspired
Also sorry there's not much Moon... I uhhh don't have an excuse and I just realized that now. Sorry :3
- he's so high strung all the time, being smol is genuinely an escape for him. He's a carefree older toddler 3-6
- HE. LOVES. CRAFTS. (Supplies) paints, sequins, buttons, beads, twine, thread, glue, glitter, markers, crayons, pencils, you name it he's got a stach of it at his disposal at all times. Ready to make a *very pretty* mess hopefully on a piece of paper.
- he does his best to clean up after but there's usually a residue or a few markers that got left behind.
- he's kinda stubborn in a not bratty way.. ex: if he's hanging out with his favorite Glamrock, he never wants to leave! If he's building a block tower, he'll make the tallest one ever!! If he's got a crayon in his mouth and Moon tells him to spit it out, how can he? It's the best flavor!! That's a waste Moonie.. fiiiinneee :(
- he like to draw his friends and one time someone turned it around and said "imma draw YOU" it turned a playfull fight on who can draw who faster. (Side note, true story. I heard from friend after and I have his drawing if people wanna see it I'll ask him if it's okay I'll edit it in here)
- HES SO SILLY AND PLAYFUL. his favorite games are follow the leader *bonus points if the leader doesn't know they're the leader* he loves hide and seek too but sometimes he forgets to tell anyone that they're supposed to seek and then he gets sad
- he likes looking at balloons but hates when they make that gosh darn *balloon noises* they spook him when they pop too
- his favorite Glamrock is Monty. Full stop. No debate. No one's been able to get him to explain why, not even he knows, sometimes we just have favorites!
- no paci for him, he's a big boy!! Buuuutt... There's no shame in thumbs when he gets reeeeaaaalllllllyyyyyy sleepy and thinks no one's watching.
- speaking of: KEEP AN EYE ON HIM AT ALL TIMES!! Wether it's making a mess or climbing too high up on the jungle gym, if you don't keep an eye on him always he'll get up to something... He usually comes clean before anyone notices tho
- if you need him to sit still, GOOD FREAKING LUCK, but you may have some success with those ASMR slime videos. Don't let him watch too long tho because he may try to use the video as a tutorial.
- he absolutely loves those kids crafts kits you can buy at Walmart or target, never reads the instructions tho. It's usually just a fun time anyways, having a product at the end isn't necessary if he gets to be silly and make a mess.
~If this one feels more thorough than the lil Moon head cannons that's because it's a lot more accurate this time.. our alter Sun does regress sometimes and he's read though this for me to confirm he's okay with sharing and that's it's accurate! Some stuff that includes IRL friends have been made anonymous for their safety~

His mother
Yandere Bruce Wayne x Naga reader x Yandere Damian Wayne
Tumblr media
(Gif by unknown)
( English is not my first language so I apologize for any mistakes in the following text.)
Tw: yandere themes, abduction, mentions of injury and memory loss
You haven’t had felt such warmth before, the sun you were used to bathe in its sunlight was not compared to the immense warmth of those heaters, you held the baby that had cling to your bare chest tighter and slipped into the water tank, it wasn’t like home, it died to feel the same, the water was polluted with some things that tall human had called “sterilization” or something like that, it made you feel uncomfortable, it didn’t hurt you but it wasn’t like home, that little happy corner of the jungle you had marked as your territory…that was your home until humans came and took you away, to lock you up in a large room that was more like those places you had seen from the jungle’s watcher’s magic box…what was the name? oh right Zoo, it felt like you were one of those animals that were caged in a zoo and the glass walls that gave the humans the ability to watch your every move.
You wanted to go home, but the water made you feel weak like there was something in the air that when you sniffed smelt like salty water, but more intense, you didn’t know that the humans that had captured you were drugging you and your baby to make you both weaker and more vulnerable so they can handle you better. More like turn you into a domesticated beast, you sighed, sinking completely into the water as your nostrils got closed, the baby latched on your nipple as you two cooled down your body temperature. You closed your eyes and gulped down the uncomfortable feeling in your throat, if it wasn’t for your child you wouldn’t even be here! Oh, what mothers do for their little ones.
It all had started six full moons ago, when you were crawling on the forest’s ground, looking for any possible prey that you could find, your digestive system would work faster when you were sad, being alone for life Naga was not a pleasant thing to deal with. Many nagas lived in groups and were sleeping for half of the year but you were cast outside your horde for being too humane and interested in them, they forbade any Naga in the area to mate or even talk with you, completely throwing you away. You would sigh as you dwelled between the trees, maybe a deer would be a good supply for a month or two. You stuck your tongue out to smell the air, only to spot something fresh and rather sweet, blood.
You thought it was a dead animal but when you reached the old oak tree, seeing a young human hanging from the branches of the tree, your hunger was long forgotten. Many Nagas would try to kill and eat the humans, but you were not comfortable with hurting any of them, you had found out that the forest you lived in was protected by humans, so actually you owed them, plus the things they owned were fascinating! like that magic box that would show things, you had never seen. So you would crawl up to carefully take the little human off of the branches and put him down.
It was a boy, with short black hair and the second skin he wore was odd, you had never understood why humans had a secondary skin that would change color now and then? later you find out they were clothes, but still, you couldn’t understand their function. The boy was heavily injured, his face was nearly shattered and
arm and legs were broken, he must have had hit one of those big moving trunks, you had seen some deers and other animals get smashed by them as they tried to pass the black way to the other side of the forest, but why he was upon the tree? did the moving trunk hit him that hard that threw him there? hearing a whimper from the boy you snapped out of your thoughts and put your hand on his face to stop the bleeding, you knew bleeding would hurt an injured living being a lot.
You didn’t know how to fix his injuries, you didn’t have any herbs or leaves to use, so you thought of the only way to save him, if other nagas knew you were giving a part of yourself to the human you would be dead, but damn the horde, you were an outsider already. Nagas would share some parts of their bodies to help in speeding the healing. You didn’t know if it could work but the boy needed help and you couldn’t let him die there! So you took one of your eyes out, even if it hurt so much, no put it on the empty eye hole, letting your blood dripping on his face you watched as his the eyes moved to fix itself in its new owner’s place, to your joy the blood seemed to work as well, you needed was time…but the boy was too weak to move him to the other side of your territory, where you would rest in your haven, so you carefully dragged the boy with you on the old oak tree, so you were away from any dangers, you hugged him tightly to your body and fell asleep with hearing to his weak heartbeat.
You didn’t know how many days had passed but when you felt something squirm in your arms you woke up to see the human boy stare at you with wide curious eyes, he seemed that he was not shocked or scared by your snake-like features “M-mother?” your eyes widened as well, the boy’s voice barely reaching you, did he…just call you mother? Why? he just stared at you and you didn’t say anything…he was rather cute, with your snake-like eye in his eye hole, he was fully recovered, you even reached your hand to tug on his cheek, the boy closed his eyes and leaned to your touch to which you couldn’t help but smile.
You carefully wrapped your tail around his body and put him down on the ground and the boy sat there looking around like he was a child at was seeing things for the first time. You crawled down from the tree “See?” you pointed to the sun in the sky as it went toward the mountains, it was the early period of the day, good, he could find his way “Follow the mountains, when the sun is in the middle of the sky you will reach the forest’s guardian’s territory…he can help you!” Your voice was low but it showed how genuine you were in helping him. The boy looked at you like he didn’t understand what you were saying “Go! go and find other humans!” you said and pushed him toward where you had pointed before fixing his secondary skin and crawling away.
Much to your surprise, the boy was there when you crawled out of your cave to find food again. You both stared at each other before he walked toward you and you found him hugging your form without any fear, he trembled as he cried, clearly thinking you were letting him go! you were too confused to understand what was happening, so you thought that keeping him for some days to take him to the guardian’s territory was a good idea.
Days passed, and you found yourself not wanting to let the boy go. He didn’t remember most of the things from his past, only knowing that he had a father out there…who? you couldn’t find out. The boy called your mother, saying that you were the first person he had met and you had helped him, that something in him told him to cling to your side. Your blood was in his veins so you were his mother right?
A full moon had passed when he came back to the cave with an egg in his hands. He said that the cave he had found it in was abounded, you felt sorry at hearing that, the mother of the egg must have died when she was at hunting. you knew a thing or two about keeping eggs so you decided to take the baby in as well, when the boy was gone the baby could be a good companion for you. They would hatch within days, giving birth to the boy’s sibling, Damian…the boy, your son, liked to take the baby in his arms and rock it gently, talking about never letting his mother and siblings go, and you were happy to hear that. Life couldn’t be better, but any happiness would end in one way or another.
Five full moons passed till when you hear one of those giant birds humans used to fly in the sky, you thought it would fly away and ignored it, but in one day three of them flew into the area, more of them showing up as the time passed, Damian felt uneasy and the baby would cling to your breasts like they could feel something strange was coming.
It was not until the night humans set their feet in your cave that you found out it was too late to do something about those giant birds, Damian was manhandled by a human that had black secondary skin, looking more like those bats at the end of the cave. You tried to attack the human but you were knocked out by his Har punch, the last things you could remember were Damian’s groans, the baby’s crying, and the man’s gruff voice calling your son by the name, telling him to calm down.
Since then you had found yourself in this cage, learning that Damian was the son of that bat human, that he had taken you and the baby away from your forest since Damian insisted that you were his mother. You didn’t know how much time had passed, only the baby’s growth and Damian’s random arrivals to the cage kept you busy and reminded you that the time was passing.
But things tended to get more strange, you pleaded Damian to tell his father to let you and the baby go, that you and his sibling didn’t have a place among humans, but the boy only stared at you dead in the eyes “Your place is here mother…with me, with your family!” family? you didn’t understand what he meant only to have the human that seemed to be Damian’s father walk in the cage, the first time nearly killed him by lashing out and biting his neck with your venomous fangs, the man left you and your children alone, but Damian was not happy about it, he even raised his voice at you “He just wanted to meet you! why can’t you act normal?”
Since then the water felt uncomfortable, the air having a stinking aura, and you felt numb. You crawled out of the water again, to see Damian sit next to the pool “Hello mother” he smiled; tiling his to the side cooing at seeing his sibling make a gurgling sound and make grabby hands for him. Damian took the baby from you and you watched as he kissed the baby’s face several times, the baby’s tail curling around his arm. You watched them with a soft smile, only to your peaceful moments to be ruined by feeling the water move and two large arms cling to your body.
It was him, the man…Bruce, as Damian had called him. The man buried his head in the crook of your neck, finally getting the chance to touch you “Good girl” he cooed in your ear, Damian’s smile widen as he saw you two together. You closed your eyes, wishing that you had never left your cave at that fateful night…but it was too late…

tuesday again 3/5/2024
really fucking around in Breath of the Wild and not defeating Ganon, even though i think i am fairly well prepared, which is probably indicative of something or a metaphor for some larger issue. oh well! guess we'll never know!
listening
Rock the Jungle by The Daniel Pemberton TV Orchestra, off an album of music from and inspired by LittleBigPlanet, a video game i have never played. Daniel Pemberton is a remarkably prolific british composer who mostly does film these days but also does a lot of BBC stuff.
youtube
this is the kind of scrubby pad to the brain electronica i need sometimes. i think these are heavily filtered and processed kookaburra sounds? at about the minute fifteen mark it adds a rolling, rollicking bassline that is, as im sure we all know by now, fucking catnip to me. at about 2:20 it adds alarm blares that fade in and out of a sort of disco-y organ? it uses its five minute runtime pretty well imo. i think this was off the spotify discover weekly.

T Kingfisher's The Clockwork Boys, recced by @rae-being-naughty lo these many months ago, and my library hold finally came in. the goodreads blurb is a remarkably accurate sales pitch so let's yoink that
A paladin, an assassin, a forger, and a scholar ride out of town. It’s not the start of a joke, but rather an espionage mission with deadly serious stakes. T. Kingfisher’s new novel begins the tale of a murderous band of criminals (and a scholar), thrown together in an attempt to unravel the secret of the Clockwork Boys, mechanical soldiers from a neighboring kingdom that promise ruin to the Dowager’s city. If they succeed, rewards and pardons await, but that requires a long journey through enemy territory, directly into the capital. It also requires them to refrain from killing each other along the way! At turns darkly comic and touching, Clockwork Boys puts together a broken group of people trying to make the most of the rest of their lives as they drive forward on their suicide mission.
i had a lot of fun with this! very pratchett-esque in its imperial critique through bureaucratic loopholes thereof, which is catnip to me, but i do think Kingfisher is simply better at writing women. the forger is an only child and it fucking shows.
i think if it were 5% more devoted to Humorous Bits and didn't have some nice character work between the forging accountant and the big sad blond paladin man, i would have gotten frustrated with it. i think it is simply more of a comedy than any of its blurbs suggest, and it can be difficult to ride that line between comedy and character growth through desperate acts without getting a little bit of whiplash. this is me being very depressed and a bit nitpicky though. the line "Time passed, like a kidney stone" is going to stick in my brain for a while. i already have the sequel on hold

watching
if you do nothing else today could you please watch this car chase for me? ok thanks
youtube
Gunsmith Cats is a three-episode OVA that's a fancam of the american city of chicago and the cool girls that live and shoot and drive there, but let's just yank the MyAnimeList description
In the dangerous suburbs of Chicago, skilled bounty hunters Irene "Rally" Vincent and "Minnie" May Hopkins run Gunsmith Cats, a firearms store of questionable legality. One day, Bill Collins, an agent for the Chicago branch of the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms, and Explosives, blackmails Rally and May into working with him on a case. The stakes are high, but Rally’s gunmanship and May’s knowledge of explosives are unmatched. As Rally and May unravel the secrets of the case, the two will need to use guns and grenades while being faster, stronger, and better than everyone else in order to stay alive.
youtube
all three episodes are free (in really nice quality) on youtube. i pitched this to wendy as "rally is jigen lupinthethird's little sister" and her driving skills and marksmanship... i'm not sure who would win between them but i wouldn't like to live on the difference.
animators, historically, hate animating guns and cars, except for the masochistic ones who use it to flex. there are at least three shots in each episode where i want to stand up and hold my cat above my head and hoot like a fuckin tusken raider. in the first episode, there's a raid on a smuggling warehouse (you know, a warehouse) where the BATF agent and Rally throw each other their guns and have a really cool FALLING OFF A CATWALK back to back shootout. it's hard to describe. watch the episode. i wish there were more than three episodes.
this is an OVA that, aside from the requisite panty shot and WHOOPS my whole shirt tore (one of each per episode per girl) is fairly normal about women? rally and minnie are...roommates. that bicker and eat pizza. they have a cool network of other slightly shady women they interact with a lot, and the big bad for most of the episodes is also a woman. this isn't like a bastion of feminism or anything it's just neat. sort of middling on the ass portion of the Weeb Ass Shit scale. low on the weeb and shit parts too. again this is a fancam of chicago with cool girls
i watched this bc i was trying to use up kanopy credits and came across the precursor to this, Riding Bean, which i did not love for several reasons (the big one being the legitimately pedophilic lesbian relationship) but the creator took the concept of Rally out of that forty minute...experiment? and that led me to Gunsmith Cats. thank u ppl who put free anime on youtube

playing
Tumblr media
still futzing about in breath of the wild. fucking around with sidequests and a sudden need to at least discover all the shrines.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
for example, i did all the labyrinth shrines. underneath the akkala labyrinth is the scariest room in the world, bc six of those fuckers are alive and they will all target you the instant you open that chest.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
cannot be bothered with the eventide island shrine yet (the roguelike) bc it frustrates the hell out of me. did the thyplo forest one, which was extremely annoying bc it dimmed my whole TV screen (including the UI) instead of just dimming the game itself. im sure someone thought that would be such a cool detail but instead i found it extremely annoying and vey difficult to swap weapons or start campfires.
Tumblr media
and then i trundled through a list of shrine quests, bc i apparently had TWELVE missing?? three were korok trials, one was eventide (apparently it only shows up as a quest if you are on the island or have finished it, bc if u die on the island it kicks you back to a pre-island save lmao) so for the others: three i just had to talk to people to officially start and then immediately complete the quest. remember when i was anxious about softlocking myself out of the jungle dragon shrine quest bc i went right there instead of talking to Kass? never fear, nintendo's got my back
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
"kay how did you possibly miss reading the giant stone tablet to start this quest--" i am not a clever woman. i go "oh i know what to do!!!" when i see the Orb and hare off without looking around further.
Tumblr media
A Brother's Roast i missed bc i forgot to talk to everyone in Goron City after defeating rudania, didn't run across Test of Will (the Goron challenge in the Gerudo highlands) bc i forgot to look off that side of the tower and was very focused on gliding into the labyrinth at the right spot, and didn't run across Guardian Slideshow on the far south beaches bc i hadn't explored there yet.
A Stolen Heirloom was deeply annoying. i had four out of five quests complete to unlock this, but there is an unmarked side quest where you have to go into this lady's house at night to figure out she wants fireflies. maybe she has some ambient daytime barks about this? i have never heard them. this was a little obtuse. also i don't love the stealth in this game. this game's stealth really works when you are well out of detection range bc u have a sniper bow, and i find it works less well for me when i have to follow a target. no i haven't finished the korok stealth trial either.
Tumblr media
non-shrine nonsense:
ive been using Stasis as a sort of VATS equivalent. in fallout, i like to hit VATS every once in a while just to see who's out there. how many radroaches are nearby. this also highlights most interactable things which i think is nice of the game
Tumblr media
gerudo town stuff: i missed this sand seal racing challenge by SO little the first time which annoyed me so much, it took me six more tries to beat the damn thing. i am very charmed that they actually put in a garden for the kid who was trying to grow a garden!
Tumblr media Tumblr media
some beach vegetation mysteries: im really baffled by this singular hearty radish growing in full sun in what is essentially sand with a dusting of palm bark. all the other hearty radishes i have seen are in deep forests with partial sun and lots of leaf litter. what the hell is this then. plus a neat little unique sea wrack? korok circle instead of the usual lilypads.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
i didn't know this game knew how to do rainbows at all, let alone double ones!
Tumblr media
i will leave you with my many attempts to make stamina potions.

making
making things requires both the perfect levels of anxiety (too little anxiety and im out doing normal people things, too much anxiety and i shut down, a medium level means im frantically making things to distract myself. we are at the high end of medium) and some level of income bc i inevitably need one or two things to finish projects. eg we are at the level of anxiety where i am only able to do simple things like repainting a whole bunch of big frames for my maps (procured when i had money) but i need more matboard. so they are sitting, 90% finished, in my office closet.
garden update: more than half my bush beans came up with no leaves and promptly died, which could be due to any number of things but im choosing to believe it's bc my bestie's five year old planted them a little too deeply. so it goes. all the sweet peas are fine, all my normal peas and most of my regular climbing beans came up. a little annoyed bc only a third of my nasturtiums came up even after soaking them for 24h as recommended. the shit i Bought (tomatoes, marigolds, mint, rosemary) is doing fine. the spinach and dill i planted are doing fine too, although the spinach also had about a 50% germination rate. this does mean i don't need to thin them but. Hm. yanno?

Hi! I really liked your Tighnari story, so I’m here to request more if you’re up to it! I was wondering how you’d think Tighnari react to his S/O getting hurt in a battle…(I totally get it if you’re busy and don’t want to take up my request though!)
Thank you!

Tumblr media
Adventuring was one of your favorite things in the world, but even if that didn’t necessarily mean that it wasn’t risky, it didn’t make it any less exciting for you, especially since you valued it because it has brought you to love him.
Exploring the Teyvat with him was a lot like a tale, and he made sure to tell you about his many adventures whenever you were alone together, you could only imagine what he must have been through with the help of the numerous books on the history of Teyvat’s culture he had read, and you always listened to every word he said attentively,
Tighnari loved the fact that you would eagerly listen to anything he was telling you, and he knew you would do whatever you could to understand his experiences, which was something he cherished more than anything else.
Being a Woodland Watcher, He is also positively familiar with various species of forest creatures living in the jungle, he knows a lot about plants and trees and all types of creatures that live within them. He loves the magnificence of nature, and how it can give off beautiful vibes when you look at it.
He also once suffered from heatstroke while exploring the desert, which left him very vulnerable, so in the end he ended up declaring his disdain towards it.
Aside from not being fond of the desert, he was also not keen on the idea of you getting hurt on the combat field, Even though he's well aware that you're a strong and self-reliant person, he still felt responsible for everything that might happen to you, no matter what the circumstances might be. He is very protective of you, but he is quite willing to put aside those feelings and focus on protecting the two of you instead.
"Tighnari... I already told you it'll be fine! it's just a tiny bruise." You soothed him after taking a good look at the bruise that was already forming on your cheekbone. The swelling had already reached the size of a plum, and you could feel its pain radiating throughout your face. It wasn't too bad for now, but it certainly wouldn't go unnoticed.
"You wouldn't know, Even if it's a tiny bruise like what you're saying, it could still get infected if we don't take care of it properly, So just relax and let me take care of it. Also, try not to move so much, the scrapes tend to spread faster when you move." Tighnari gently held your chin between his fingers to prevent you from moving around too much, so as not to worsen the injury.
"I'm sorry... for being clumsy and weak, like- not being able to fight those stupid mushrooms properly and not knowing enough how to defend myself, I should've learned how to wield my weapon better..." Your words trailed off in a sad tone of voice, Tighnari noticed A tear began rolling down your cheek as you spoke, feeling guilty for making such a mess out of your situation.
"You have nothing to apologize for, love. The whirling fungus appeared from behind you, resulting in a tiny wound on your beautiful face, No one would ever predict that from happening since you were focused on fighting the floating fungus. Besides, there's no need for you to blame yourself when they are the reason why you're hurt in the first place.” His voice softened and the way he looked at you made your heart warm, you couldn't help but smile lightly at his kind words.
"You're making it hard for me to not kiss you right now." You pouted a little, which made Tighnari chuckle lightly. "what's stopping you from doing so?" He asked, and before your brain could stop you, you leaned forward and captured his lips with yours.
His lips felt soft and supple against yours, slightly chapped due to lack of use, but that only made his kiss even more tender. He held onto your cheeks, carefully, kissing you deeply, you wrapped your arms around his neck, deepening the kiss further and tangling your fingers through his hair.
It was passionate and full of love, and you couldn't help but think that this was exactly what you wanted.
