Bob sits gingerly on the edge of the blanket with his back to the Daggers. “It’s nice of you to say so, Bob.” His cheeks are pink, and his blue eyes are dark and deep as they stare into your own. “I’m serious. If it were me, I’d have kissed you until your head was spinning, and those pretty lips were all swollen for me.” You can’t breathe for a completely different reason in comparison to all those minutes ago. You can smell whiskey on his breath, coupled with the smokey sweetness of the bonfire and the floral notes from his cologne.

Because after all that time, they’ve grieved. They’ve moved on. They’ve lived their lives. Because neither thought they’d ever see the other again.

And so by the time we do see them together again, they are two people worn with grief and pain and further loss—they’re two entirely different people than the two that say goodbye over the radio. And somehow, they’re stronger for it.

The only way I can see them having some semblance of a satisfying ending for Caryl on the main show is if Caryl go canon and then Daryl's time away ends up being something like a scouting mission that he intends to return home from afterwards. Perhaps Carol does end up in some sort of leadership role, and Daryl takes on a recruiting role (sort of like Aaron). The spinoff could take place over like 6 weeks and then he's back home with Carol until his next mission. Idk....I'm still not planning to watch but I'm trying to think of ways for them to not go completely scorched earth with Caryl fans 😐.

I'm not holding my breath for even a semblance of a satisfying ending. Is it too soon to laugh at the fact that many of us were speculating a Carol and Daryl wedding?

Shisui slowly reposition himself, leaning his back and head against the wooden headboard of the bed. It was obvious what transpired here. Shisui was not even bothered to cover himself. He was just lying there, naked, with cig between his fingers, limp. Shisui looked at him and shifted again, lazy moves and unfocused eyes, or it appeared so. He looked like a drug addict who just got his daily dose.

Why did that angered him? That statement coming from this blond brat. The anger inside but a mocking smile on the outside, his lips pull up into a wicked smile.

"If that is the truth then what in the name of Amaterasu are you doing here? Chasing after me? Barging into my room as if you possess it? As if you possess me? As if I owe you any explanation?" With every word, he let out a bit of smoke before he gets up standing before Deidara.

"Get out before I lose my nerves and kill you where you stand. Get out before you regret it." Deidara was standing there and Shisui had no idea what to do with him......
