intro to my blog

hey! been meaning to remaster my masterlist (which can be found below along with basic rules for requests) and I just realized I'm just kind of some mysterious writer. i literally never introduced myself

so first, hi! my name is koolade! I also go by ade or cinnamon. all pronouns are alright with me, but I mostly use she/her and I’m 19! satan is my favorite obey me character, but mammon, belphie, and thirteen are close seconds. my favorite color is pink, I love cats (I have five <3), and hot tea! I play project sekai, genshin impact, and honkai star rail (I actually haven't opened obey me in months haha).

I have two side blogs: @koolade-reblogs for reblogs, and @koolades-thoughts for anything else/misc!

for my posts, I try to make one daily from between five pm and ten pm est, depending on what time I finish that day. sometimes I do post more than once, but usually those are random thoughts, and I don't do that often. Most of the time, I do queue up the posts, so please keep that in mind too! right now I'm just writing for obey me but if you happen to want something from the games I have listed above, I would be glad to write them as long as it's not too regular of a thing since this is mainly an obey me blog. Yae Miko, Aventurine, and Akito are my favs so if they have anything to do with it, I'm at your service (red flags I know but my second favs are green flags i swear!! lol)

my requests box is open right now! most of my posts do come from requests, and I work in the order I receive them in. as of now, I've been working at about a month and a half turn around time due to the sheer number of requests. thank you to everyone who's made one <33

some basic rules are

please try to keep it to just the brothers or the datables! you can mix and match but it's difficult to write so many characters so please keep that in mind. the fewer characters, the more I can write for them so if you want something more concentrated, do one or two characters

if you have a specific format you want, let me know! I usually do headcanons, but if you want, I can do a drabble or a full on fic. headcanons will be done fastest, followed by drabbles, then fic

while I don't mind requests through comments, I'm very bad about checking them so please send them to my inbox instead, if you can!

I usually do a gn reader, but if you want something other than that, let me know! I actually don't refer to the reader all that much since I usually write in second person

I will do: fluff, angst, hurt/comfort, something mildly suggestive, and really most anything as long as I can do research on it! I try my best :3

I won't do: nsfw, anything super intense, and strong blood or gore. maybe one day I'll do nsfw but as of now I just can't seem to get it down

Waking up in another world, inside a game, in a meadow alone, which is very dangerous for a person like you who has no knowledge nor experience in killing monsters was not in your daily list. Especially in your favorite game, Genshin Impact.

You immediately recognized this place, how could you not? This place was in the outskirts of Mondstadt as you can see the gate of the said nation in the distance, near yet far away.

Your blood went cold as you remember those fanfictions you read as a pastime. You will be perceived as the imposter who imitated the beloved God of Teyvat and will be chased around all of the three nations to be executed or perhaps tortured.

“Fuck…. I’m out of here.” You got your school bag and stood up as only to stumble back down. You felt your foot going numb and the needle-like sensation was all to familiar as you whimpered and thrashed around in agony. “Fuck! Shit! AHHH!!” You rolled around the meadow while massaging your foot, it was a miracle as how you did not bump into a rock. A few minutes of rolling around, the numbness in your foot disappeared.

Looking at the clear blue sky, which was so realistic instead of the pixelated one you are familiar with, you tried to recall your how you ended up here.

You remember running as if you were being chased by a killer clown to be able to get on time on school without being send to the guidance counselor, who has such a nasty tongue, to hear her never-ending nagging. The consequence of waking up late as you could say. Stepping on manhole that you swear wasn’t there, you felt yourself falling down in a endless hole.

Screaming your lungs out and waiting for the inevitable to happen to you, which never really happened since you were overthinking and got your last braincells dead from overloading and blacked out. That’s how you got here.

You blinked once, twice, thrice, sighed and said, “I’m really gonna die.”. A cold, fluffy and squishy feeling came into contact with your cheek, making you abruptly look at the source. It was a cryo slime. You sat up and poked the slime curiously. It squeaked and came closer, nuzzling into your touch.

“How cute and peculiar.” You squished the cheeks of the slime. Examining the cryo slime made all of your attention only on it, you couldn’t see nor hear the nearing knights.

After examining the slime, you looked around your surroundings and saw knights nearing the place where you are resting. ‘Oh shit!’. You took your bag, took the slime (it’s not theft, right?), and made a run for it quietly and quickly as possible.

Alas, one of them had saw you in the corner of their eye and shouted for you to stop. But of course, you did not. Who are they even for you to stop for and heed their shouts? They chased you whilst you were running faster.

Seeing a waypoint, you went directly in its direction. "Oh, wait how do I teleport!? Oh, for fucks sake! Whatever!" You thought of a random place to teleport to test if it will work. You placed your hand on the waypoint and as you thought your surroundings changed within a second. Into the Qingce Outskirts.

"Creat-!" One of the knights had shouted while wheezing for air as you dissapeared without hearing what he said.

One was panting on the ground. "O-one of you, *pant*, go report this to the, *cough*, Acting Grandmaster. *Wheeze*."

"Y-yes!" One stood up and ran once again back to the City of Mondstadt.

Oh, boy. Your arrival in Mondstadt had caused such an uproar. Groups of knights were sent to look for you. News spread as quickly as a virus to other nations.

The Liyue Qixing had sent some Millelith to also look for you all around Liyue. The Shogun sent the Inazuma Shogunate also. It was also a surprise that Snezhnaya had participated. Such ruckus was made that the four nations had to held a meeting to find you and to cooperate with each other.

While you were missing, you had made home somewhere in the forests of Sumeru. Living freely with your new friends, the Cryo slime now named: Aquilo, and new Aranaras.

Long time no see! 💛

Where do I start lmao xD

First of all, I don’t really know if I'm back for good or not but recently I've started doing some doodles of genshin outfits and I realised it would be nice to post them here. That being said, I'm not sure if I want to continue writing stories for this blog because the reasons why I left are still as valid as they were before so if you for some reason dislike the content I'll be posting here from now on you can always unfollow me, no hard feelings. However, as I said, I kind of miss this place and I found a new hobby so I decided to use my blog to post the doodles. I'm going to post a link to my Instagram page later too if anyone is interested to follow me there as well. It is all like a very big experiment and I'm very much an amateur so lol bear with me xD

IM SCREAMING HELLO THANK YOU ALL SO MUCH ?!? WAIT NO IM LITERALLY SHAKING WHAT THE HELL

i didn’t expect to ever get this far with this blog, it was mainly a jokey situation for me to reintegrate back into the genshin community after being away for a year but it’s been nothing but the best decision i’ve ever made and whilst i’ve not been updating and consistently writing as of recently, i’m glad that there are people here who like my writing even when i’m not fond of it. i’ve made so many great friends and whilst 400 isn’t a huge milestone, i can’t believe it got this far.

there is no 400 event! (my prompt event is still ongoing; i swear i’ll write the requests soon) but there is a 500 event! and it’s already drafted because i’m so excited for what i’m doing for it 💙

I’m probably use this blog for writing, talking about said fandoms, obsessively thinking about my ocs for each said fandom, and making very politically(/j) incorrect analysis about characters. And, more! I’m sorry this is so long, really just ask me abt anything and it’ll eventually happen.

Last thing: I might post about my own stories that are… painfully unfinished, so here’s a brief intro about each (they’re all heavily inspired by my respective fandoms, we don’t talk abt that):

*Insert Dramatic Title* (IDT): A robot by the name of Edis is asked to save humanity from a prophecy stating that, from five years from now, the world will end.

Slaughterhouse (SH): A pair of twins live in a “Haven Town” where there outside world was shrouded into an apocalypse. They learn how to truly survive in such a restrictive environment and find out the subtle corruption of their system.

‘Vest of the ‘Usual (VOU): A young boy has unusual abilities that leads him to work in the government, which depicts him having to do the unthinkable: go to school. And, do his job, that too.

Act I (A1): Olesia Lexina has had one dream all her life: protect humanity from the evil that is godlyhood! This follows her journey through the ideal of becoming on of the top members of the “Guardians of Humanity”.

Project: New World (P:NW): The government has allowed a project and organization by the name of “New World” to attempt to “purify humanity of all of its wrongdoings” and it has taken the world by storm; unfortunately, Chara has absolutely no interest in any of it.

The Eight Tragedies (T8T): An Angel has come to earth to ultimately destroy everyone on it, in which a humanities major named Reminiscence gives the world (her two friends) a chance to fix their problems before it can do so—by going into the past eight times to fix mistakes that should’ve never happened.

Majic Girl: BOOM ★ (MG:★): this one is something I’ve been meaning to get motivation to work on properly. A young freshman girl watches her whole world turn upside down (close to literally) to as some sort of eldritch horror resurfaces the earth! And she is one of the few people making the attempt to kill it.

$1 Supermarket ($1): The economy as we know it had crashed after inflation has risen way too high to the point even the upper class finds it hard to buy anything. Thus, a brand new chain store by the name of $1 Supermarket has arisen! Where everything is exactly $1! And there’s like, a bunch of monsters everywhere, but that’s besides the point.

I just recently saw your most recent wonderful art on their blog (it's so cozy feeling, Cyno resting in Tighnari's lap is everything!!) and honestly after I got over just staring at it with hearts in my eyes, my first thought was that I don't think I've seen you draw Tighnari with his fox ears before!!! He looks amazing both ways in your style 💕 I also really feel you on the clothing - as a very very novice artist, I wouldn't dare 😂 😭 I believe in you though!!!
