BnHA Chapter 407: Wait Why Are You Running Away
Previously on BnHA: Kacchan figured out how to control his quirk upgrade and was totally chill and normal about it. Definitely not terrifying at all. He actually spent the entire chapter smiling and laughing like the wholesome little boy he is. I don’t know why Kid For One is so freaked out about it. He even politely introduced himself using his childhood nickname. Clearly he just wants to be friends with you, KFO!
Today on BnHA: Horikoshi is all “sorry to keep you waiting, here’s the AFO and Yoichi flashback you ordered at long last” and proceeds to serve a nightmarish stew of HUMAN MISERY and RATS and STABBING and CARNAGE and SO MUCH MURDER and THE SINGLE MOST FUCKED-UP CASE OF CODEPENDENCY ANYONE HAS EVER WRITTEN. I was not even remotely prepared for any of this, and if anyone else claims that they were, I will call you a liar to your face. If this chapter had a mouth it would scream. Or just sob, ceaselessly and uncontrollably. I’m really glad Horikoshi is on break next week because that man needs to take a fucking nap. My god.

also wasn’t expecting AFO and Yoichi to be twins! that puts an interesting spin on their relationship, because it’s usually a closer bond than even regular siblings. especially with all of that delightful shared trauma from a young age!!

so the narrator is saying that some of the quirks manifested later in life, in “pubescent and pre-pubescent stages”, which is interesting because it’s the first time I can recall hearing about someone actually manifesting a quirk that late. maybe Deku’s old OFA cover story was more plausible than I realized
anyway so eventually it occurred to everyone that they should maybe freaking study this shit, idk. and eventually the researchers concluded that the superpowers came from a new gene that apparently isn’t human. and upon hearing that, society apparently lost its freaking mind. which is fascinating to me because it implies that the turning point wasn’t actually the superpowers themselves, but the realization of what it meant
like, so they were apparently fine with it when they thought it was a “mysterious disease”, but somehow it hit different when they learned it wasn’t actually a sickness at all, but instead the Next Step in Evolution. and it became an “us vs them” thing, as opposed to a “we have to cure these poor people” thing. damn
anyway so now Japan is a dystopia and we’re cutting to a big crowd of merc-looking dudes who are getting ready to attack some “meta freaks”, how lovely

small and weak, but also so, so cute. all of the cuteness genes went straight to him. no wonder AFO was jealous
(ETA: just want to press pause for a second to speculate about what type of twins AFO and Yoichi are, since it has some relevance to the story, and especially to the OFA/AFO quirk lore. so! at first glance the two of them would appear to be fraternal twins, just based on the fact that they have very different appearances, and also the fact that Yoichi doesn’t have the AFO quirk – no holes in his hands, etc. identical twins are born from the same fertilized egg, so in theory they would both have the same sequence of DNA, which means Yoichi would have had the same quirk as AFO. but that doesn’t appear to be the case. so all of that points to them being fraternal, not identical.
on the other hand, there is one piece of evidence in this chapter that does support them being identical twins, and that’s the fact that per the narration, AFO absorbed most of the nutrients from their mother. a few minutes of google fu informed me that this condition is relatively rare, and only happens in cases where two twins share a placenta, which typically is only the case for identical twins. HOWEVER, for what it’s worth, there have also been rare instances where two fraternal twin placentas fuse together and become a single placenta. AND this apparently also increases the chances of one of the twins gaining more of the nutrients and causing the other twin to have a lower birth weight.
so based on the evidence here, my conclusion is that the two of them are most likely fraternal twins with a case of placental fusion. besides, you can’t tell me that stealing his baby brother’s placenta while the two of them are literally still in the womb doesn’t sound like exactly the type of BS that fetus!AFO would pull, lol.)

but. even if it’s not actually what I would call love, there’s still... attachment, there. it’s the closest he can get to actually caring about someone. guh. just, somehow they have both managed to humanize him, and at the same time made him less human than ever. this manga, man. this fucking manga, though

“Why aren’t you in bed? Or the couch at least?!’
“He has a point.”
“Like you’re one to talk.”
“Well I’ll let you know I moved the phone and I’m sitting in an armchair wrapped in a blanket.”
“Who are you talking to?!”
Steve is glad for Dustin’s irrational fear of his viruses, because it’s the only thing stopping him from ripping the phone out of his hand, maybe pushing him back to bed too.
“Tell him I said hi.”
“Eddie says hi.”
Dustin starts hyperventilating.
Thankfully his mom came to the rescue with a steaming cup of tomato soup.
“It’s great you boys are keeping your spirits up but you shouldn’t be sitting on the floor, Steven. Maybe we could move an armchair for you?”
And thus with their leave, Steve had a cozy station next to the phone, piled with blankets and pillows. Not dissimilar to Eddie’s on the other end, whom he called as soon as the Henderson’s left.
“So, you were saying?”
“You know this stays between us? This is the most intimate Eddie Munson knowledge that you’re not to share with anyone else.”
Steve laughs. Just hearing him joke was helping his body recover and he feared he'll be ready to go back to work soon.
“Tell me your dirty secrets, Munson.”
“So, this dungeon I’m working on is a cursed tomb of an overthrown mayor…”
Steve likes a good story. Everyone does. He was never that much into fantasy, but the fact that one of his favorite people came up with it made it a thousand times more interesting.
“Ah, I guess it’s my turn for the kid’s visit.” Eddie interrupts himself about fifteen minutes in. “Do you also feel like you’re on a deathbed, visited by your grandchildren in hopes they'll be in the will? He’s getting the dice anyway...”
Steve snorts.
“Now that you mention it…”
“Are you guys still on the phone?!” Dustin’s voice is so loud Steve hears it clear as day on his end.
“Yeah, sorry babe, I’ll call you back.”
The line goes silent.
And Steve knows he’s joking with the pet names, teasing in the silly way that he does but the more he hears him in his ear, the more he realizes he wants it, wants to try. He hopes Eddie wants it too.
His cold lets off faster than Eddie’s and he’s anxiety-cleaning as soon as he feels the strength to do so. He cleans the pj’s and sheets at boiling temperature so instead of sweat and sickness they smell like ‘provencal dreams’ which he thinks means lavender. The pills and syrups scattered on the coffee table get into the medicine basket. The armchair though, stays by the telephone. He’s waiting for Eddie to wake up and call him (so he can call back not to put the enormous phone bill on him) like he’s been doing for the past two days. Being sick together was almost as bonding as fighting evil.
When the phone rings he runs to reach it and is almost embarrassed to do so, so he takes a second to breathe before picking up.
“Hello?”
“You don’t have to call me back.”
“Ah, sorry, the reception is shit, I can barely hear you. Let me call you back in a second.” He grins to himself when he hears Eddie’s resigned sigh. He dials the number from the emergency list above his phone immediately.
“Hi,” he says, smiling like a fool.
“Well, someone sounds chipper today”
“Yeah, I think I'm good to leave the house, finally. Also, this guy I like keeps me company in my misery.”
“Oh? He sounds like a nice dude.”
“He is,” Steve smiles, sitting down and pulling his legs up onto the seat. “He cares about his friends, saves the world sometimes, and hosts this dorky game for a bunch of nerds on the weekends. A true samaritan.”
“You think so?” Eddie sounds quiet on the other side.
“Yeah. That's how I see it, at least.” He frowns, fingers twirling the cord anxiously, worried he stepped over a line. That’d suck because he had planned to step over some more today.
“Thanks. I think you’re a nice guy too.”
It was the simplest compliment he’d ever gotten, but it made something in his chest tighten.
“Yeah?”
“Duh. You jump into demonic waters head first and ferry around a bunch of ungrateful kids.”
Steve snorts.
“That I do.” And then, before the conversation gets even further away from him, he adds, “Hey, listen. Since I’m feeling better, I’ll probably be back at work tomorrow.”
Eddie made a disappointed grunt on the other side.
“So I was wondering if I could visit you today? Maybe take over Dustin’s soup delivery?”
Eddie makes a sound that he’s unable to interpret.
“If you don’t feel up to it, it’s okay-”
“Shut up, I’m thinking.”
So Steve presses his lips together and waits.
Eddie sighs.
“I’m feeling better, I guess you can visit if you don’t mind a sick person mess.”
“I just cleaned up mine today, no worries.”
“Yeah, okay. But about… the other thing…”
He trails off and Steve is one step away from biting his nails off. Or the phone cord in half.
“You’re still sick and thinking about it, I-”
“Steve! Let. Me. Speak.”
He makes a noise of agreement into the receiver.
“Like, I think I need to see you. Because I know you are hot, objectively. But do I think you are hot? Does my dick think you’re hot?”
“Eddie-”
“I’m speaking.”
Steve bites his lips with a smile. He can feel himself blush.
“So I have some things to verify. Come over, Wayne’s not home.”
Steve can’t help it, he bursts into hysteric giggles over Eddie’s attempt at a seductive voice with his clogged nose.
“Hey, now-”
“No, no, I’d love to. Should I bring protection? Like a face mask?” He manages between giggles.
“Oh, you little-!”
He doesn’t remember the last time he had so much fun flirting. He curbs his amusement to manageable levels and looks at the clock.
“I’ll call Ms Claudia if she has any special deliveries for us today. I could pick them up and be at yours in an hour, maybe two.”
“Sounds great.”
“Want me to pick up something?”
“I’d kill for a can of coke.”
“Got it. I’ll bring a movie we could watch too.”
Eddie hums his approval.
“Something light that my sick brain can process, please. I’ve had enough fever dreams about war and Russians. Never again letting Wayne pick the movie when I’m sick.”
Steve snorts.
“Okay, noted. See you soon?”
“See you soon, Steve-o.”
Claudia isn’t thrilled by his plan to visit Eddie, but a mother’s disapproval hasn’t stopped him before and certainly wasn’t going to now. He accepts the jars of soup, kisses her on both cheeks, and lets her tuck him up for the short walk from the door to his car.
The drive is shorter than he expects, even with the partially shoveled roads. He feels completely unprepared for whatever might happen at his destination but he pushes on because the uncertainty might make him sick again.
A tiny note on the inside of the window tells him the door is unlocked so with little hesitance, he pushes in. He knocks on the door, looking around.
“Eddie?”
“Over here!”
His voice sounds way better in real life than it did over the phone and Steve locks the door and unties his shoes to follow it. Eddie is sitting on his bed, wrapped in at least two blankets, and there are books and notebooks surrounding him.
“Welcome, welcome!” he grins at him, which lights up his face prettily despite the unmistakable traces of battling the flu. His nose is red and dry from constantly wiping it, his face pale and his lips chapped. There are bags under his bloodshot eyes and the little hair peeking from under a blanket hood looks greasy.
Steve wants to give him a hot bath, wash and condition his hair, and moisturize his whole body, which is a weird thought to have about a romantic interest, even for him.
“Did you bring the goods?”
Steve holds up the plastic bag in his hand, making the jars inside clink. If only Ms. Henderson could see the sparkle in Eddie’s eyes at the sight of her soup, and how he brushes his hands together happily.
“Let’s go to the kitchen, then.”
Steve shakes his head.
“You can stay here, I can do it.”
But Eddie is already up, shaking his curls back at him.
“And burn our new trailer to the ground? No thanks. The stove is a bitch and only the chosen ones can operate it without injuries. I’ll show you how to work it.”
Steve is listening to him, but he’s also very fixated on the bat pattern of his pajama bottoms and the fluffy green socks he’s wearing. One of the blankets he kept on flows behind like a cape.
“Okay, but I’m doing it,” he insists, following behind and just a tiny bit unmoored by the conversation. He was expecting something less… Normal. More awkwardness, confessions, and hurt feelings. That’s what he’s been preparing for.
“Of course, my shiny knight, of course,” Eddie assures him, reaching for a pot. “Will this be big enough?” he asks, eyeing the jars Steve’s putting on the counter.
“Think so.” He shrugs, eyeing the pot and opening the jars.
“Okay, come here.” Eddie motions him closer and Steve obliges, standing right next to him and the heat he’s radiating. He smells a bit sweaty, which is understandable, but he can smell the minty toothpaste on his breath, meaning he brushed his teeth before Steve’s arrival. He tried not to think about the implications of it.
“Okay, so never try to light the right top burner…”
He listens closely to all the instructions and shoos Eddie away as soon as possible to operate the stove under his watchful eye from one of the kitchen chairs. He goes through three matches to get the fire going under the pot but he gets the soup on the burner without much more damage.
“Do I get the Chosen One title yet?” he asks as he idly stirs the soup.
Eddie snorts.
“Don’t get cocky before finishing, dear Steven.”
“Fine,” he huffs.
The silence settles between them and he doesn’t know where to go from there. But he told himself before coming that he’d wait patiently for Eddie’s answer and simply bask in his presence without pushing. Maybe turn up his charm if it feels right but that’s all.
“What have you been doing stuck at home?” he asks, the need to break the silence overwhelming.
Eddie hums, his eyes unfocused on the heating soup.
“Read Hobbit for the eleventy-first time, polished the postponed campaign, and planned for the next one already. Though, with these little bastards, it was probably a waste of my time. Rewatched a couple of movies?” he adds, voice tilting like it’s a question. When Steve hums in interest, he continues. “Paid extra attention to the actors. Turns out, Harrison Ford? Kinda hot.”
Steve snorts, taken aback, and when he turns, Eddie’s grinning at him sheepishly.
“Yeah?”
“Yeah. I might be into dudes, after all.”
“Cool.”
“Cool.” He smacks his lips obnoxiously and sucks in a breath. “You know, last time I tried to ask someone out, she said she was not interested at all, in anyone, and skipped town.”
Steve whines sympathetically.
“Shit, man. I’ve never chased a girl out of town.”
“It did numbers on my self-esteem, I’ll tell you that.”
“I promise to stay in town if you ask me out.”
“Would that make me the guy?”
Steve cocked his head and studied Eddie for a while. He never thought about the dynamics of a same-sex relationship. Would he like to be ‘the girl’? Wooed and treated gently, gifted with flowers? Kissed on the neck, and spooned to sleep? He felt his cheeks grow hot at the imagery.
Unfortunately, Eddie noticed and his smile grew.
“You’d like that wouldn’t you?”
Steve shrugs, turning back to the soup.
“Aww, you’d like to be my princess, pampered with gifts and kisses?”
Steve made a point of focusing on his task and hiding his face.
“So what?” He bristled. “What if I do? Would it be… Is that bad?”
“What? No! Why would it be bad?”
He shrugs. He doesn’t know why but something in his gut keeps telling him it is.
“Why would wanting to be cared for, be bad?”
“Uh, well…” Steve focuses his stinging eyes on the soup. He’ll have to turn it off soon and won’t have any excuses not to look at Eddie.
There’s a shuffle behind him and soon a warm body presses against his back, hugging him from behind. Eddie’s still wrapped in a blanket so they make a slightly awkward bundle against the stove.
“Besides, Princess Stevie sounds waaay better than King Steve,” Eddie presents his final argument and Steve lets out a surprised snort.
“You’re such a fucking weirdo, I swear.”
“Well, it worked on you, sooo…”
“And I still have no idea how,” he sighs dramatically. He squeezes the arms around him gently and turns off the stove before nudging Eddie away so he can pour the soup into bowls. They sit down to eat and when he hands Eddie a spoon he ignores it and slurps the soup straight from the bowl.
“Savage.” Steve rolls his eyes but can’t fight his amusement at his antics. Eddie smacks his lips loudly and grins.
“So, anyway…” He drums his fingers against the bowl. “Do you wanna go out, whenever Wayne gives me the all-clear to leave the house?”
Steve grins, watching the loud man be hesitant for once.
“Are you asking me on a date, Munson?”
His already red nose gets even redder.
“We don’t have to call it a date, we can just hang out, just the two of us.”
“Nah, I’d rather call it a date.”
Eddie inhales and a smile spreads on his face.
“Okay. Let’s do it then. Arcade? I feel like cinema dates are such a cliche.”
“Yeah, but there’s this new movie I’d like to argue with you about.”
“Is it The Fly? Or The Little Shop of Horrors?” Eddie prods with excitement. Because a heated debate on the first date sounds utmost alluring.
Steve extends his leg under the table, nudging softly at Eddie’s ankle. He nudges back with a grin and they rest their legs against each other. A simple touch they can settle on until Eddie gets better, until the date they plan in the cramped kitchen over bowls of soup until the sky turns dark.

Hello! Mama Emeritus anon here. So glad I finally caught your box! I'll try to be specific this time. Let's presume that Papas I-III are not dead. Somehow, Nihil has finally sired the little girl he has always wanted. How do the Papas I-IV deal with having a little sister so much younger than them? What activities do they like to do with her? etc. Thank you!

I’m going to go back and forth with names, but expect each Papa to be called Papa and Primo/Secondo/Terzo for ease. I’ll call the daughter Mama for this, as I don’t want this to read so much as an OC and more like an open template for a character type.
I normally write as if all the Papas are still alive, but I’m going to add some background for this particular prompt. In this situation, all of the Papas are not only alive but know Copia is their baby brother. Copia is still getting used to being a part of the family after being estranged. The new baby’s prime mover in this scenario is only present sometimes; as prime movers have a choice to raise their children or let them be solely adopted by the Emeritus.
I also included their reactions and jumping around a little to ages.
Papa’s with a New Baby Sister
Papa Nihil + Sister Imperator: Papa Nihil is so ecstatic to have a little baby girl, his youngest even if he was practically ancient! The only thing, thankfully, keeping him alive is that this was a child APPROVED by Sister Imperator. No one is quite sure why she would allow Nihil to have one more child when she wants Copia to succeed so badly. Speculation includes needing an extra heir in case of her son’s failure or that the ministry DEMANDED one more heir… after all, none of the boys have sired children yet. Nihil didn’t mind any gender, he’s just happy to be a new dad again! Nihil is much more mellow and attentive to his daughter (much to the annoyance of all of his children.) Sister is also quite pleased that there is a new potential Mama, if not the next Imperator. Imperator is much more relaxed raising the child than she was with Copia. Nihil dotes on her but Imperator is definitely the disciplinarian. Mama is going to be raised by Sister to rule with an iron fist and take no shit!
Papa I: Does what he’s always done and immediately dedicates some of his time to being her mentor. Papa was NOT happy Nihil decided to have another child for many reasons. The Grandpapa being more relaxed as an old codger did not put Primo at ease. Papa takes his job as the eldest and most gifted of the Emeritus brothers very seriously. He vows to raise and teach Mama the way he did for his two brothers (except Copia for obvious reasons.) Papa was both there during the birth and conducted her unholy baptism ceremony. There was never doubt in his mind he could love her, as he loved all of his brothers and their shared bond. He’s a firm but knowledgeable mentor to her from her grade school days. They usually bonded over her favorite school subjects and his willingness to pause his Papal duties to tutor her. Papa had the same sense of pride for when she graduates seminary, takes her vows, and eventually becomes Mama.
Papa II: Absolutely wanted nothing to do with Mama when she was born. It was nothing personal, but she is Nihil’s problem and responsibility. Papa already has to deal with Copia being dragged into their dysfunctional family. As a Papa he just sent the congratulatory bottle of wine and flower arrangement. If it wasn’t for Primo asking, Papa would have ignored his new sister altogether. Secondo eventually came around when Mama was a toddler. He won’t admit it, but she was damn adorable. Though the two don’t have as strong of a relationship until she is out of Seminary as an adult. That’s when Papa feels he can bond with her and have actual conversations. He slowly goes from a distant uncle like figure to a proper brother. Papa gives her much needed unbiased advice, and typically serves it blunt and without babying her. Which is appreciated the higher she climbs the ministry ladder. Papa will never admit that he’s happy to watch her grow into a strong and capable Mama, despite having an idiot for a father. Fun fact, he taught Mama how to drive and gifted her her first car from his own collection.
Papa III: Papa was a huge brat about it at first, even if he tried to hide it. He was used to being the baby of the family for almost six decades before Copia showed up. Now he has to be the MIDDLE child?? Despite being told to act like a grown man, Papa insists he won’t care about the baby AT ALL! He will be nice, he will just not take on Nihil’s newest child… until he holds her for the first time. Papa is instantly smitten with his baby sister, almost like she was his own daughter! Gushing about how she was adorable and HE was going to give her the life she deserved. Papa is a very attentive and loving big brother, almost like a second dad. He never wanted his own children and this is like his chance to have one. He’s there for almost every milestone and spoils the shit out of Mama. From matching outfits, to shopping trips, to traveling. Even to the not so fun times of heart break, of question faith and her place in the world. Papa just wants her to have the father figure he never did. They do everything together (which is both convenient AND annoying to Nihil.) His favorite is taking her out for ice cream so they can talk. He does this even when she’s an old lady and he’s practically ancient.
Papa IV/Copia: Admittedly, this was very difficult for him and somewhat bittersweet. The news of Nihil’s Mover having a child put him through a bit of a self doubt spiral. Copia felt very pushed out when he was barely in the family to begin with. Now he’s being replaced? Copia still went to the birth to meet his new sister. He didn’t want to hold her but the moment he did his heart changed. There was still the conflict of wanting to get rid of an heir that could take his place… but Copia wanted to be a better big brother. Copia wanted to help love and raise a baby sister that would NEVER have to go through the pain and loneliness he did. Even as a toddler, Mama has Copia wrapped around her finger. He is there for crayon coloring, tea parties, and taking her to get candy and toys. The little princess wants for NOTHING as long as he’s around! Their bond grows closer when she’s a teenager. Copia is the brother she confides her insecurities and fears too, as he’s so much more open about his own.

writing prompt - the most unhinged sibling bonding situation the Byers-Hoppers children ever ended up in while living in California and Joyce's reaction

Joyce Byers, having two sons, has seen a lot. Boys can be trouble, and she knows for a fact that Mrs. Wheeler and Mrs. Sinclair would agree with her on that one.
So when she adopted El Hopper, her first daughter, she thought it could be a nice break.
She was very, very wrong.
“Jonathan?” She says, jaw dropped at the scene played out in front of her. The bag of groceries she was a holding fell from her hand onto the floor, and she shuts the open door behind her.
El giggles nervously, and glances at Will-
-Who is covered from head to toe in bright yellow paint.
El doesn’t look so good herself, splattered in purple and pink. Jonathan stands in the background, holding a camera, with a sheepish look on his face.
“What happened?!” She says, failing to keep the amusement from her voice, trying for a responsible parent tone.
“Will started it.” El immediately says, pointing to Will, deadpan.
Will squawks, going red. “That is a lie, El.”
“Will definitely started it.” Jonathan says, breaking his silence for the first time, and sets the camera down.
Will covers his face with his hands, mumbling something about traitors.
“Will was teaching me to paint,” El starts, grinning widely. “I drew him!”
She points to a small canvas, with a surprisingly well drawn image of Will - with a huge mustache.
“She drew me with a mustache! A huge mustache! Like a stupid french guy or something, Mom-“ He whines, and it reminds her of when he was a little kid.
“Did you get a picture of them?” She asks Jonathan, and nearly giggles at Will and El’s shocked faces.
Because she can’t bring herself to be mad at them. They haven’t been able to be kids for so long, and the move has just made it worse. So when she comes home to something like this, them goofing off together - It makes her unbelievably happy. And that’s something she hasn’t truly been in too long.
“Of course I did.” Jonathan grins, and Joyce smiles warmly at all of them.
“Oh, I love you guys.” She says. And it’s true. This is her definition of family now- Goofing off and getting paint everywhere and silly pictures. Seeing everyone bonding outside of their shared trauma warms her heart.
Jonathan hugs her, and then she’s groaning as El and Will join, purposefully getting as much paint as they can onto her. She can’t really find it in herself to care that much, though.
“You guys better not have gotten paint onto my new rug.”
El giggles into her shoulder, until they’re all laughing so hard their stomachs ache.

It’s me again with another Firecest/Watercest Au for ya. I’m glad you liked the other one. I thought I was alone in liking both Zucest and Kacest. And not just one or the other!
The Au goes like this:
Ozai informs Azula that she is set to marry the son of a council administrator (the same boy whose house she burned down on Ember island).
Azula is understandably pissed off and her loyalty to her father begins to shake. Irrevocably so.
Now after Zuko confronts Ozai, he is cornered by imperial guards. Zuko is outnumbered and has resigned himself to go out fighting. Until… he is saved by a blast of blue flame.
Azula takes Zuko’s hand and together the two of them flee the palace, via the air balloon. They pair head to the Western Air temple. Where their alliance with the Gaang is tentatively accepted.
Do you remember that scene where Zuko stumbled on Sokka and Suki doing “the nasty” in canon? In this Au, Zuko stumbles on Sokka and his true love Katara making out.
The water couple try to assure Zuko that they were just practicing “sibling bonding” in order to raise cohesiveness on the battlefield between them. And that they were definitely not in a secret relationship!
Both Katara and Sokka are terrible at lying, so a flabbergasted Zuko decided to walk away. Leaving the Water duo to their activities in Sokka’s tent. Shrugging, Katara and Sokka decide to continue their “sibling bonding”. The night was still young after all.
Zuko goes to his tent and finds Azula there, reading a scroll by the blue glow of her bending. He took about to observe her, which was a mistake because Zuko was (to his shame) temporarily blinded by her beauty and became tounge tied. Thinking about Katara and Sokka’s “sibling bonding” doesn’t exactly help matters”.
He tells her about Sokka and Katara’s “sibling bonding”. Zuko doesn’t see how it could possibly improve their battle readiness. Azula however, immediately understood just what exactly was going on. She was unsurprised that Katara and Sokka finally gave into their feelings for each other. The teasing and hidden meanings behind the water siblings every interaction told her thus. Azula felt a kind camaraderie with the water siblings. They after all have similar feelings for eachother, that Azula had and has for Zuko.
Azula was also pleased with the opening that Katara and Sokka… activities gave her. She suggested to Zuko that the two them should engage in their own fire “sibling bonding”. In the interest of expanding their own Fire sibling battle cohesiveness of course. Azula also refused to be outdone by Katara. If she could act on her long simmering feelings for Sokka. Than Azula could do the same with Zuko.
Zuko was shocked (and not a little intrigued) by Azula’s proposition. He still didn’t see how making out with Azula would improve their battle effectiveness.
They two started kissing. Chaste at first and then gradually more heated. Till Zuko abruptly stopped and asked Azula point plank if this was what she wanted.
Azula then admits her feelings for Zuko. No lies and no holds barred. She waits anxiously for Zuko response and looks anywhere but at him, Zuko instead coups her face, looks deep into her amber eyes (the same as his own) and kisses her.
Zuko then confesses his feelings to Azula and says that if she isn’t scared about how taboo their feelings are, and how the world will react, then he isn’t scared either.
The moans of the Fire siblings and the Water siblings continued long into the night.
Neither incestuous couple expected Toph’s rather merciless teasing in the morning. But her seismic sense told everything that happened last night.
Everything.
Oh, nice idea! Another possibility could be that Azula is the one who has no clue what 'sibling bonding' really was.

Failing you - Azriel x reader (angsty?>fluff)
Being mates with Azriel is amazing, but it could be hard.
—
You were used to your mate being away from you. You knew he would love to spend more time with you, but he couldn’t.
You sometimes didn’t mind actually, you got to spend time with one of your best friends, Feyre.
Azriel had been on a mission this week, being away for three days now. You spent those days at the River House.
Feyre’s son, Nyx, was still very little, and she could use your help.
When Rhys was busy, you would help her. When Feyre was busy, you would help Rhys. It was much fun with them, but you couldn’t wait until your mate came home.
He hadn’t told you what he was going to do. It could be anything. You didn’t mind that he didn’t tell you, as long as he stayed safe.
Rhys also didn’t help with you missing him. He constantly mentioned that what he was doing was safe and that he would be back soon.
You couldn’t bring yourself to hate Rhys for sending him away so many times the last few weeks. It was his job.
Azriel wasn’t the best at communicating. He mostly showed his love through physical touch. You had learned to live with it, even though it bothered you sometimes.
He could be very hard on himself when something didn’t work out like he wanted to.
The only thing you could do during those moments, was being with him. No talking, no sounds, just the two of you sitting in silence.
The thing that did annoy you about him, was when he would just ignore you. He could be so angry with himself that he didn’t want to take out his anger on you. It sometimes ended with a small discussion, but you soon made up for it.
You were sitting on a blanket on the ground. You had decided to take Nyx out to play outside. He took all of his favorite toys and started minding his own business, leaving you to think.
It didn’t take long before you felt Azriel nearby. You didn’t run inside just yet. It was better to wait until he had given his information to Rhys.
Nyx crawled over to you, needing attention. He held up a wooden block that he played with, handing it to you.
“Thank you Nyx. That’s very kind.” the small winged boy giggled and clapped. You smiled at him. He could be adorable, but he mostly cried and made a mess out of everything.
Feyre walked through the door, heading straight for you. “I don’t even want to be in there.”
You sighed. “Is it that bad?” Feyre immediately nodded while sitting down next to you.
“It didn’t take long for Rhys to ask me to leave. Let’s just say that things didn’t go like he wanted them to go.”
“He’s going to beat himself for the next couple of days.”
“Well, if you need anything let me know, but I need to go now. I promised to visit Nesta.”
You nodded and thanked her for the nice few days you got to spent together.
Azriel had closed off the bond entirely. You could only feel a hard wall when you tried to reach out through it.
He didn’t want you to see him like this, like usual. Not that you hadn’t seen it multiple times.
You headed to your own house. You weren’t sure if Azriel would come home right away, but you would be there when he needed you.
Your house was dark and quiet when you entered it. The house wasn’t big, but it still felt empty without your mate.
You made yourself something to eat and drink and got comfortable on the couch with a blanket and a book.
Azriel still had the bond closed off. You hated it when he did that.
It didn’t take long before the front door opened and closed. Normal people would say he closed the door softly, but for Azriel it was like banging it.
You didn’t expect him to walk into the living room. He looked so tired.
You let out a sigh of relief when you didn’t see any signs of injuries on him.
He walked towards you and you stood, pulling him into a hug. He kissed your head, but didn’t say anything.
“I’m glad you’re okay.” you whispered softly.
You pulled away from him slightly so you could look at him. “Can I help you with something? Do you like something to eat?”
He shook his head. You knew that he probably felt terrible about his mission.
He kissed your cheek and left the room. You knew that it was best to leave him be.
Minutes passed and you decided to get into bed. Azriel was still in the bathroom.
You couldn’t fall asleep. Not when he wasn’t beside you.
After a while he finally came out of the room and laid down. He just stared at the ceiling.
“Az.” you said. He kept staring at the ceiling. “Azriel, look at me.” after a few seconds he did.
You got closer to him, finally feeling the warmth of your mates body. You put your hand on his cheek, “Stop being mad at yourself.”
Azriel sighed, but kept his eyes on you. “If I hadn’t failed, I would have important information now. I never fail.”
“Everyone fails sometimes Az. It’s okay.” you said, trying to comfort it.
“I failed this time. What if I fail again? What if I fail you? Would you say the same?” he said. You could hear the disappointment he held for himself in his voice.
“Stop. Stop talking and stop acting so ridiculous.” you said. “You failed this once, you will try it again. You know what you’ve done wrong, so don’t do it again.” you said.
You grabbed his hand and held it. “And don’t say that you will fail me, because you won’t. You can never fail me, you will never fail Rhys or any of our family, Az. You are allowed to make mistakes.”
He blinked tears away. You knew that he struggled a lot with self doubt, so your words were comforting.
He pulled you in for a kiss and held you close. “Thank you.” he said.
“You are my mate, I won’t let you feel bad and doubt yourself.” you placed your head on his chest. He wrapped his arms tightly around you as he finally drifted off in a good night of sleep.

Yay! I’m so glad you take requests for Nautolans. They don’t get enough recognition. I was thinking the reader was either a former Jedi General that worked with The Bad Batch or is with Rex when he shows up in Cid's bar and was originally just supposed to drop them off on a planet to hide but decides to stay with the boys maybe if they fall in love with one or it’s just platonic. Eventually they'll get a pretty small tank installed on the ship for them so they don’t get dehydrated while on long trips. Her being Anakin Skywalker's padawan while you were the 2nd padawan under Luminara Unduli along with Barriss Offee until you were transferred and became Obi wan's padawan after not only a lot of trauma you went through but also not being able to train with the two anymore due to it and the issues between the two. Not too long after the change and becoming used to being around the other masters and padawans much more you met Captain Rex and a lot of other clones soon developing a bond with rex and soon the two of you got together getting separated after order 66 ending up meeting the bad batch in Kaller after being there for 3 weeks. You ended up joining the batch not only as their medic but also as a new friend ending up as the main care taker of Omega other than Hunter and being the one who keeps everyone together without you they all wouldn't be on the ship nor would Omega be with them. You reunited with rex after going in Cid's bar after rehydrating yourself seeing a familiar blonde head immediately tearing up and hugging an equally happy and surprised rex telling everyone what happened who are surprised not only did their friends know each other before but that they were a couple. Soon after spending time away from the batch with rex you come back being told of a surprise they all did for you walking on the ship with rex guiding you while you had your eyes covered until you opened them seeing a tank in the ship full of clear blue green water and some flowers planted at the bottom and some notes from omega taped to them as you smile hugging them. You giggle climbing and jumping in swimming in it popping back up "I love it! Guys...you didn't have to!" They all smile saying they know how exhausting it was for you to look for somewhere to rehydrate and wanted to do something to help you which made your heart swell and grow when they said it was rex's idea getting out and giving him a sweet kissing and hugging everyone thanking them.

Hello, my name is Brianna. I am fairly new to the hinny fandom. I never took the couple too seriously in the books, since they only had a few scenes, and just thought J.K. Rowling needed to put Harry with someone. I started ASC about a month ago, for the Sirius and Remus raising Harry content, but now that I’ve caught up and I’ve seen your Hinny, I see them completely differently. I went back and read the last two HP books, and I’m a little confused how so many people are diehard shippers of this couple who is barely seen together. Ginny is such a small character in the books and we barely know her, and her scenes with Harry are short and infrequent. So can I ask you what made you fall so in love with them? Everyone who ships Hinny has told me they think the two of them are just so different than all the other HP couples and so unique. I just found out that J.K. Rowling herself called them soulmates. I’ve never heard her speak so highly of any of her couples. She has said iffy things on Remus and Tonks, James and Lily, and even said putting Ron and Hermione together was a mistake and she doesn’t think it would work out. Yet she states Harry and Ginny are “remarkable” together and are “soulmates.” It just completely shocks me because they barely exist outside of Harry’s own thoughts and a few heated snogs. So can you, or someone, explain to me why they’re so special. Is it the fact that they’re friends as much as they are lovers? Is it the quidditch bond? The whole “been possessed by Voldemort” thing? I mean I can see all that, but none of that is shown much in the books besides the quidditch bond. I’m not asking what makes their relationship a good one, I’m asking what makes it so much deeper and more remarkable than all the other couples in HP/ASC. Because if there’s this many people who love them this much, and the author herself basically said their relationship is stronger and more passionate than her other pairings, there is definitely something I’m not seeing. Because from what I can see in the books, they’re just like any other standard couple. She has a crush on the famous boy who’s her brothers best friend, he didn’t like her back. Then she got hot, and she was funny and he’d known her for a while, so he now thinks he’s in love with her. Then everyone marries their hogwarts sweetheart. I’m just not seeing anything that makes them so great of a couple.

First of all, welcome to the Hinny fandom! We are awesome because we love Hinny, who are awesome and perfect and so in love!
Thank you for starting my story of A Second Chance about Sirius and Remus raising Harry. I'm glad that version of Hinny has shown you a different perspective on them as a couple. I did make them a lot closer than in the books and I added a lot of backstory that JKR didn't provide. As to how so many people are such diehard Hinny shippers, I can't tell you why everyone else likes them, but I can tell you why I do and why I've shipped them together since the beginning.
The first time Harry ever sees her is in Philosopher's Stone and it's interesting to me because he's not a very observant person. The things he notices and things he doesn't sometimes makes him seem rather oblivious. Yet the first time he sees Mrs Weasley at the train station, he takes note of Ginny. He takes note of her immediately holding her mother's hand and then when they bid the boys goodbye, Harry actually watches Ginny waving at her brothers until he can no longer see her or Mrs Weasley anymore.
In Chamber of Secrets, we're given more of Ginny's character. We learn that Ginny has a bit of a crush on Harry and is very embarrassed. She blushes when he's around and while Harry is embarrassed by this himself, he also again is very observant of her. From her putting her elbow in the butter dish, to asking about her being strange around him. When in the bookstore, he gives all of his books to her without a second thought -- not to Ron, but to Ginny. I think this is an important distinction that he gave them to her and not to his best mate. And here is where we see a bit of her personality coming out when Malfoy comes to taunt Harry, she immediately defends him. In the short weeks she's spent with him, she's realized he's not a celebrity, he's just Harry and he doesn't want the attention. She stands up for him. He's happy when she's sorted into Gryffindor with them. Harry notices she's quiet at school; is observant of Percy forcing a pepper-up potion on her, and when she approaches him and Ron to tell them about the diary, he immediately takes stock of her strange posture, the worry in her eyes, and he knows whatever she has to tell them is more than it seems, but they're interrupted and his attention is drawn elsewhere. Harry doesn't notice things like this about other random students and for someone he doesn't speak much with, it's interesting. To me it's like he was drawn to her in a way he didn't understand. The singing Valentine embarrasses him, but when he finds out its from her, he's more intrigued and confused. But like the butter dish, he doesn't mention it to her. Harry knows better than anyone that being singled out over a thing she might be embarrassed for isn't a good feeling and he doesn't mention it. Then, when Harry and Ron discover she's been taken down into the Chamber by the monster, yes, he has a hero complex and probably would have gone after anyone he knew down there, but his first thought when he sees her lying on the floor is please don't be dead. A boy who has never known affection, is basically touch starved and awkward when one of his best friends (Hermione) hugs or touches him, grabs her hand and begs her not to be dead.
In Prisoner of Azkaban, we don't see as much of Ginny, but it's her he notices after the Dementors attack the train. He takes note of how pale she looks and how horrified by whatever it was she sees and notices that other than himself, she seemed to be affected the most by the Dementors. In the Goblet of Fire, he sees her more around her brothers, sees the mischief in her with the way she laughs and talks with Fred and George. She's excited about the world cup and into the match like the rest of them and when Ron suggests he go to the Yule Ball with her, despite him having a crush on Cho, he immediately notices that she doesn't jump to go with him. She already promised Neville. For a girl that has a school girl crush on the Harry Potter, the fact that she keeps her word is something Harry notices. He doesn't take much in at the Yule Ball. He doesn't want to dance, isn't really his thing, but he notices Ginny dancing with Neville and that Neville steps on her toes.
In Order of the Phoenix, he sees more of that mischief side as she spends time trying to overhear things from the Order. He notices that she sits on his bed and tells him to calm down, tells him off for yelling at everyone. He notices her easy friendship with Tonks, takes note of the sound of her laugh, and that she cheers for his non expulsion even louder than the twins. When the DA starts, it's her suggestion of the name he's immediately drawn to despite fancying Cho who suggests Defence Association (DA). It's her he notices has great form and is powerful with her spells. When Arthur is attacked and he panics, it's Ginny who is the only person to get through to him and he immediately feels guilty for not remembering that this girl was once possessed by Voldemort and could tell him if he had been too. When he's missing Sirius, it's Ginny he tells and she sits there and listens to him without saying a word as they share chocolate in the library. When he has to go to the Ministry to save Sirius, it's her he steps in front of first to protect in the Hall of Prophecy. He notices how she tries to stand on her broken ankle, tries to be strong. And at the end of the book when Ron makes a comment about her dating Corner and she says she's dating Dean now, Harry immediately looks over at her like he's not sure how he feels about it.
In the Half-Blood Prince, you finally get to see him notice her in a romantic way. I think you see the way he has always been drawn to her, but is noticing new things and how worried he is about liking her because Ron is such an important person in his life. He admires her skills at Quidditch and seems to be fascinated by her hair and her laugh. They spend time together at the Burrow and she jokes with him about Bill and Fleur and makes him laugh for the first time since Sirius' death. He takes close note of when she's annoyed with Dean, her emotions and her attitude at times in the book where it almost seems out of place. When they finally kiss, it's a buildup we were all waiting for and he actually says that it's the happiest he's ever felt in his life. It's freeing to him because Ginny makes him feel like himself, like the person he's supposed to be without all of the darkness that seems to follow him. He's happy and when he breaks up with her after Dumbledore's death, the change in him is evident. It's her he thinks about about nonstop.
In the Deathly Hallows, he notices her gold dress and the way other people are watching her. He warns Viktor Krum away from her. When she kisses him in her bedroom before they leave, that moment is pivotal in their relationship and if Ron hadn't interrupted them, it makes you wonder what more would have happened or would have been said. He seeks her out on the map, watching her dot wander around Hogwarts gives him comfort. His eyes find her when he arrives at Hogwarts and when she argues with him about fighting, he's exasperated and proud and terrified of losing her more than anyone else. He doesn't ask anyone else to hide or to stay back -- only Ginny. When the battle is over, he looks for her in the Great Hall. She was the last thing he thought of before he went to his death and the last thought on his mind when Voldemort killed him.
It may have seemed like a quick relationship, but if you take all of these little pieces, I think you can see that Harry loved her longer than he realized. He paid attention to her. He took note of what she did when she was around him without realizing it. I think this is why they are soulmates because they were drawn to each other without fully realizing it and when they finally came together, it wasn't just that they made each other happy, it was that they made each other whole.
As I said, I have shipped them since Chamber of Secrets and have been a diehard Hinny fan since 1999 when I first read the books. They belong together and I just can't enjoy a story where they're not.

Good gawd I totally forgot the other omegas on the grid🤣🤣 when I jumped down the rabbit hole of “ABO universes must be more patriarchal than real life” and “my poor baby being the one suffering the most on the grid for being an omega” and of course the waaaaaaayyyyyyyy too much talking about what I like in ABO fics.
It’s quite refreshing to remember that in your story Japan is less “only boys/alphas are deserving of the throne(literally and figuratively ”. (Still can’t believe I totally forgot about it yesterday, and it was mentioned in Capri too! One of my favorite parts!😱😱) Even though technically (please correct me if i’m wrong) ABO was created so Dean Winchester could logically get pregnant in English fics, I sometimes love the more Asian take on it: as in even in the real world, as soon as men can produce children too, the ones who could do that (like omegas in ABO) would immediately be degraded in the social hierarchy to becoming “women”. It’s a very widely used background in fics from Asian writers thus making me love a lot of fics with very strong omega characters, the whole “I am an omega but I am as strong as you(his future magnificent alpha mate). ”
“male can present as alphas or stay betas ;people born female can present as omegas or stay betas” So there is no female alphas. But if the world consists of male alphas + male betas +female betas+ female omegas, Charles is a male omega?

The mating I do understand, since the actual “registering” happens ON each other and in bed hhahah! Do mating trigger heats and ruts for alpha/omega pairings? Since the whole biology of ABO is practically “let’s make two men having a baby as logical/easy as possible, and they should has they just mated!”.
As for spoilers! I am all for them lol, I have always been the type to want to know whether the end would be happy or sad/bad for movies or stories, and then I would decide whether I would read them (I am still on the life sucks so I shall only read stuff that makes me happy and my best friend is a lover of angst, and we bond alot over angsty stories I was “tricked” into reading that I end up recommending to her, so me reading WIP is totally growth 🤣)

I just checked the 2024 calendar so if the baby (yeah!) is conceived in June 2024, it looks like it’s going to happen in Austria? (June races are in Canada, Spain and Austria) At first I thought it was going to be in Monaco(late May) at home? (Why am I sticking to the real calendar when talking about characters in fiction having babies lol). I suppose too much is happening for them in Austria seriously hahahha.
You also mentioned that their baby was born early, the amount of stress for Max??? Did they speed all the way to the hospital in their Ferrari with Max “threatening” Charles their baby girl is most definitely not to be delivered in a Ferrari of all cars? Hahahhahahha

hahahah yeaaaaah sorry, im definitely breaking the a/b/o form a lot in this fic!! i think it's really only loosely an a/b/o fic in the first place tho--im using that as a way to explore gender, and it's become a pretty good vessel for that! there are a lot of expectations in a/b/o about how different genders are supposed to act and i KNOW thats why people like it.....it's just really fun to flip that on its head and poke at how at the end of the day they're all just people and biology doesnt dictate who they are dfjkdfkjdfjkdfk like am i doing it right? no. am i having fun? yes
and definitely! Im not asian so i can't really speak for that, i just knew from the start that certain countries would have different ideas about gender than others (just like it is in our world) and japan happened to be one of them. i do like the way it flips the script though, and you're definitely right about that meaning omegas can be stronger than alphas. it's kinda emphasizing that there's really no one truth about who anyone is and everything is fluid, especially the dynamics between two people. that's the whole bottom line with that scene with yuki, too--he thought alphas were super different but they're really kinda the same as anyone else. As for the bit about dean winchester, I have no idea if youre right but it doesn't sound wrong ;)

Gender and sex have nothing to do with each other in this universe, gender is just a form of self-expression and identity, so this is pretty common
and iiiiii do not knowwwwww to be honestttttttttt. not sure how mating works yet. We'll see! I think it can kind of be done whenever but there are probably some sort of requirements about hormones or some shit like that, like it probably relies on oxytocin or something so if there's not enough happy calm hormones being released then it wont take?? or something like that?? cause its basically the ultimate oxytocin bond right? its possible im getting too scientific about this but idk. cause in a lot of a/b/o it basically works like magic to the point people can start reading minds after and idk if thats really the direction im going to be going with this, but it's not just a bite either. we'll see we'll see, i need to figure it out still

I do think their first baby is conceived in a really dumb place like a sauna or a storage closet in the ferrari hospitality or the passenger seat of Max's valkyrie right after charles smacked his head on the roof and then whined for like six minutes straight while refusing to let Max look at the wound (spoiler: there was no wound. there was not even a bruise). idk why, it just feels like it adds balance to the narrative if the whole thing is dumb and ridiculous and literally not romantic whatsoever. im rejecting the 'uwu conception is beautiful and pure' notion, it's a million times funnier to me if charles gets pregnant because he tried to open a condom with his teeth but bit a hole into it instead and didn't notice or think about it until 6 months later when andrea looked at his most recent blood test results and immediately passed out

I’m so glad that I started this before my friends and I binged season 3 because boy do I have so many normal thoughts about everything now.
Spoilers and rambles below the cut
I started this because I wanted to gift it to my friend who got me into Mob Psycho 100 a few months ago. It’s his favorite anime and I was already hooked on it after watching the first two seasons, but after that last season it is all that my brain is replaying. I mean the first six episodes alone could’ve been the entire season and I would’ve been ecstatic. I had really thought that Dimple was gone, zip, no more. His entire sacrifice after wanting to rule the world as god was just//// hhhhhh. But then having to continue after that??? I really thought that I wasn’t going to survive.
But wow, the last half was just as good. I mean, the entirety of the last few episodes was just... amazing. I think when I first watch an show it can be hard to pick up on the subtle undertones of things that are happening. Like, sure, you see that a big message is about improving yourself and who you are, whatever, cute, but after that ending it’s just like, wow. You also need to learn to accept parts of yourself and just let them be. Change and acceptance. And probably 100 more things that I will pick up on when I rewatch it because like I said it is in my mind and I need to rewatch it or I might go crazy.
I also have to say, Mob isn’t my favorite character in the show. I love the boy dearly and he is amazing and SO fun to draw. Surprisingly, Reigen isn’t my top character either. I actually love Ritsu, and seeing him go 100% was so so so amazing. I just love their brotherly bond so much and there is just something about Ritsu that strikes me correctly.
But going back to talk about Reigen. I hate that anime has shown me that I like father-figure men who put on a façade to cover up the fact that they care deeply for the people around them and are actually so much more selfless compared to the terrible person they pretend to be. And this could also be stemming from the fact that Reigen is one of the only legal characters for me to like in a more advanced way but I’m sure that even if there were other good options that he would still be the one to stand out to me. I love how he is just a normal person but can convince everyone around him of anything. I mean, the man has two super powerful espers that simply work for him, walked right into claw and wasn’t even phased by fighting their top people, and then the entire running into a tornado to save Mob. I mean man almost died a dozen times on his way to him and did not give up. AND THEN THE DIMPLE REVEAL AFTERWARDS!!! I have still not recovered from that oh my god.
The music for the show is also absolutely immaculate. I have been listening to it on repeat for the last few days and refuse to listen to anything else. Everything about it is just so perfect and I can not figure out how to express it to show how much normal feelings I have for it.
This will conclude my rambles for now. When I showed all of my friends this they immediately wanted copies so it has been a ton of fun figuring out how to best print them because the printer I currently have access to keeps adding blue to some of the lighter parts. Our paper cutter also doesn’t cut straight so you have to slightly angle the paper to get the perfect cut. The three days of effort I put into this drawing was so worth it even if I was terrified to put down the next line and hated how it looked halfway through. Oh, and it was made with a singular black pen and a 0.5 mechanical pencil.

I’m so sorry but I just had the cutest idea 💡 how about the servants with a reader who is the newest servant, but here’s the catch - reader was hired because she excels at the usual servant duties, speaks properly and proper etiquette, what not. But is NOT familiar with the combat side of things, but shows promise in quick learning. So the servants have to train and help reader spar/shoot/learn to defend the manor while reader helps them throughout the normal daily duties? Maybe they don’t feel so useless when reader helps clean up their mess because they help her when she throws a bad punch or misses targets? Just a cute little Fluff story or headcannons 🥰 please and thank you !
I’m just going with Bard, Mey-rin and Finny in this one but if you want the others then let me know.

💣- She’s most definitely the one to stop him from blowing a large hole into the wall again
💣- Bardroy immediately starts to look up to her
💣- Once hearing that she has little to no experience with any form of attack, he might say that she doesn’t need to worry too much about that because of how much she already does for everyone
💣- If she insists then he’s completely fine with teaching her though would warn her about the safety risks when it comes to fighting for others
💣- Bard is an absolutely amazing teacher but a bit too easy on her when it comes to training
💣- He’ll teach her about different weapons, how they’re used and hand-to-hand combat
🧺- Is so glad to have another girl in the manor
🧺- She’ll start off shy but quickly warm up and appreciate every time they work together
🧺- Mey-rin will feel bad for always having the new servant pick up after her and will compliment and thank them whenever she receives help
🧺- Once she finds that the other maid isn’t too skilled in anything combat related, she’ll think about teaching but would quickly get rid of that thought
🧺- If it’s brought up and the new maid wants to learn then Mey-rin will be hesitant as this line of work can be rather troubling
🧺- Teaches her the basics of working with firearms
🧺- She’s patient but stern and pushes the new servant to do her best as Mey-rin doesn’t want to risk anything bad happening in a fight
🧺- If the new maid wants, Mey-rin will ask the master to request that Nina changes up their dress so it’s easier to move in
🧺- I feel like this would make the two’s bond much stronger as not only will they be great work partners but also incredible allies
🧺- Also girls being badasses together is something that needs to be shown more
🌷- He’s super excited for another servant and has nothing but positive thoughts about them
🌷- “She must be really nice for the master to hire her” and “I hope she likes it here” are some of the things he’s thinking
🌷- When he sees just how talented she is, he immediately puts her on Sebastian level of respect
🌷- Doesn’t mind at all when he hears that she’s new to the whole ‘fighting thing’
🌷- Would love to help her if she asks him how to fight
🌷- Though due to the fact that this boy literally has super human strength, makes things a little more difficult
🌷- He doesn’t really know what to do so he’ll end up helping her with when and how to make room when he throws a statue or something
🌷- It mainly consists of a “Look out!” And then a boulder hurdling in her direction
🌷- Finny will leave most of the work to the others
🌷- He’d be happy to cheer her on when she’s training with the others though

Finished the rain wild chronicles!!!
Alise and Sedric standing up to Hest together, Sedric punching him in the face, and Hest immediately getting eaten by a dragon was SUCH a satisfying series of events 😂
I love Thymara but I wish she could’ve had more story that wasn’t just about the two boys (her and Tats were cute at the end but that was too much love triangle angst for me)
The bird keeper plotline was fantastic
Selden’s story was heartbreaking I’m so glad he’s okay but also I kinda thought there was going to be more emphasis on him re-examining his bond with Tintaglia after she essentially abandoned him to slavery idk
We finally learned about how Silver actually works that was really cool
I feel like this series didn’t really need to be four whole books but I still liked it a lot
and with that… TIME TO SEE MY BEST FRIENDS FITZ AND THE FOOL AGAIN

I love the Chozen and Johnny back to back with Barnes knocked out and all the sensei’s coming only to switch to Carmen and Amanda having like tea and sitting together on a cozy couch. 😅 Everyone should’ve gone home with the ladies.

😂😂😂😂😂How many times now has Daniel been told Kreese is dead but isn’t? What about Johnny? Seriously you got to see the body, get the certificate and watch it go into the ground.
I enjoyed this season. And I’m curious, if it gets renewed if that means they’re fighting in the big world tournament and if Kreese being loose will be the true big bad...or if they’ll explore more about the Korean sensei who taught Kreese and Silver, but honestly no clue because this also...kind of feels like a satisfying ending...to an extent at least. Also someone else did the “death” to “I did it my way.” and it’s going to bug me that I can’t remember who or which one it was.

Omgomgomgomgomg okay oKAY I just finished the most recent chapter of moc and BESTIE. I HAVE SO MANY THINGS TO SAY OMGGGG aaaaaAAAAAAAAAAA
First of all fuck hyunwoo. I knew that mf was too good to be true. 😐🖕🏻Maybe it’s a gut feeling but considering that moc is anything but sunshine and rainbows, I had a feeling it wouldn’t turn out well. Or maybe it was the way hyunwoo was going like “we don’t have to bring back the bad memories, we can just bring back the good memories” that sent off the red flags for me. The fact that he was still insistent on bringing back the memories when Y/n bluntly admitted that she doesn’t want them back just didn’t sit right for me. Also when he pretty much called y/n a monster brought me flashbacks at when Yunho made that harsh dig at y/n so that also brought the emotional turmoil to another degree.
BUT SPEAKING OF SUNSHINE AND RAINBOWS, THE LOVE OF MY LIFE, SANNNNNN 😭🥺💖💕💖💕 just him being the pure fluff in between all the messy shit that y/n is going through is so well needed. he’s so thoughtful, caring and so full of love for his crew and ESPECIALLY Y/N. AND HIS NICKNAMES FOR Y/N GOT MY HEART SOARING THROUGH THE FUCKING SKYYYY. I especially love the communication he’s immediately putting into their open (possibly poly 👁👁) relationship. It’s so clear on how much he loves y/n and how much he wants it to work with no boundaries or miscommunication between them and it’s so endearing to read about. I love that he’s just letting y/n take things at their own pace is just so sweet and PLZ CALY WE NEED MORE FLUFFY MOMENTS LIKE THIS 🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻
Also YEOSANG AND WOOYOUNG....can’t say I saw y/n and yep having sex is what I expected at all but it’s certainly not an unwelcome one. I just finished watching bridgerton s2 so maybe I’m more into this unexpected ship bc of that. Everyone loves a good enemies to lovers plotline after all...👁👁 and Wooyoung...he’s so happy to be back with his childhood bestie and I love seeing this two bond even more. Looking back on when y/n meets woo for the first time in chapter 2 makes me CRYYYYY. I hope these three idiots can somehow reconcile but sometimes tells me it won’t be that easy. Wonder why, really. 😒
Also POOR Y/N. She’s been through too much emotional turnmoil and it breaks my heart to see how much her life has been taken away from her and the people who she one called family are telling nothing but lies and half truths. It’s heartbreaking. It makes me happy that she senses that comfort in the horizon but I hope the boys can feel that way abut her too 😞
