hello all! quick introduction, along with preferences for the stimboards i create!!

i’m daisy or snake, and my pronouns are it/its! i’m autistic and have many interests, though mainly in ecology, animals, and video games !

Crap, I’m so sorry! I didn’t noticed you answered my ask until I got off work. Then school was taking up my time to respond to your reply. I have a lot to say about your response, so I’ll reply via ask again.

I only watched all the prison episodes once, and I never will watch any of those episodes again. It was too much. I thought they mentioned his time in prison several times afterwards. Was season 13 really calm? Reid was put on probation, and I feel as if his own job (not his team, of course) was punishing him for trying to help his mother. I know what happens to him by the end of the season. Again, why couldn’t the writers stop torturing him?

Honestly, it felt like Matt was reluctant to help Reid get out of the Mexican prison, so that’s why I don’t really care for him.

Again, I lost all respect for JJ after Truth or Dare, and I definitely heard about the Barnes fiasco. But for the Barnes episodes, I know Reid and Prentiss’s friendship shined through.

…I don’t know what to say about the fact that Reid probably wouldn’t even have a career after Tobias. I feel so sorry for Spencer. There really was no need for the prison arc. And one of the writers of the show, Erica Messer I think, said that season 12 was going to be a “fun, Reid heavy arc”. The fun part alone proves that the writers couldn’t stomach Reid for no reason.

I really did like the Dylan Einstein post so much that I pretend that your post is canon. But I get where you’re coming from with Moreid and Ralvez, even though I like Savannah and Garvez.

As for the characters I created for myself, their lives aren’t easy, but at least they didn’t go to prison, weren’t possibly r*ped, have schizophrenic mothers or disappearing fathers, or m*rdered girlfriends. Thanks for liking my original character posts. I am working on a story with the character based on Spencer, and I would love to tag you when I’m officially done.

By the way, thanks for liking my anti-Cat Adams post! I genuinely can’t stomach seeing Aubrey Plaza anywhere anymore thanks to her character…

I would love to hear what else you have to say after this! Hopefully I won’t take too long to respond again, but I have two more exams and four more homework assignments…

Yeah they kept up with hurting Reid till the very end. And while I liked finale of s13 the rest of the Reid's episodes are weak... So that's sucks

I didn't saw it to be honest and I don't think it happened. Matt and Reid never meet on screen and even if it was implied that they know each other I would say it's understandable that Matt didn't immediately thought of Reid - random FBI agent he worked with few time as innocent. I guess

I feel like writers wanted to make JJ the main character, and it even can be seen with amount of screen time she got, even when she doesn't do anything. And instead of making some cool plot with her they went for cheap drama. So I agree. Yes Prentiss and Reid friendship is still strong!!

Reid at this point was the only male character from the season 1, and writers always treated them better also he was the one most liked by fans. So they just wanted to move audience with giving him big and shocking plot. Just cheap marketing move

That's so true! Like I love most of the ships in the fandom as well as the canonic ones. So I would love to have Moreid, garvez, ralvez, penemily, Ralvez, Derek and Savannah and Reid and Dylan at once. All of them had really good dynamics :)

Hey there

Favourite criminal minds episodes from any season?

oh god this is hard to choose. i did just go on a whole rant about doubt (because it really is a good episode) but i have favourites for different reasons. only doing seasons 1-7 because there are so many ugh

season 1: the ones that stood out for me the most was 'derailed' and 'the fisher king' (somebody's watching was just a painful episode, i'm sorry lila/reid shippers)

season 2: ngl, s2 was pretty good. my absolute favourite this season was 'lessons learned' is an AMAZING episode mostly because it highlights the brutality that happens in Guantanomo Bay and the way the system treats threats to national security. i'm sorry but no-one should be treated that way, not even a terrorist (which could totally be another post).

highlights include:

'the boogeyman' is actually one of my favorite episodes purely because the first time i watched it, i predicted the ending and it made me feel so big brain.

'north mammon' is also a really good episode purely because it tried to add some backstory to JJ. (if only they had kept up that momentum 😔)

obviously 'profiler, profiled' makes an appearance because OMG SHEMAR'S ACTING please i wanted to cry.

also mentioning 'the big game' + 'revelations' - i know it's a horrible representation of DID but i can't help it. it's an amazing episode.

'jones' was pretty good too, purely because willifer and also the concept of the abused becoming the abuser and how that doesn't invalidate the trauma they went through

season 3: obviously as explained in my previous post, 'doubt'. that episode almost made me forget this show is copaganda. in close second comes 'scared to death' even if it does kinda villainise a therapist. but still.

notable mentions:

'about face' gets a mention because it was rossi's first appearance and also imo emphasises how criminal profiling is not a science how had rossi been wrong, a woman could have died.

'in heat' is a beautiful episode because it shows how much pain LGBT+ people feel (speaking as a closeted bisexual) when they come out of the closet and then get beaten back inside. also gives us willifer and derek being pancoded

'the crossing' fucking devastated me. the whole battered wife plotline, why wasn't the whole plot based on that? i wasn't even paying attention to the other plot. the whole scene at the end, her killing her husband and then cleaning it up. when i tell you i screamed!!

THE FINALE!! OMG!! 'lo-fi' and 'mayhem' EXCUSE ME? MY GOD GIVEN SOLACE?!

season 4: the whole damn season, are you KIDDING me? who told them to go so hard? 'minimal loss' is by far my favourite (platonic spemily!!), even more than 'amplification' (moreid!!). overall their best season FIGHT ME!

i should add that i HATED the pigs finale. i refuse to name it. that tragedy, jesus! i don't even know what message they were trying to send us there, what, be afraid of intellectually disabled people? i'm sorry but what the FUCK? by far the most ableist episode i've ever watched (second most is coda but we'll get there)

season 5: '100' made me bawl. like a baby. i hate that episode. 'mosley lane' was incredible, thank you MGG my lord and saviour. 'the uncanny valley' also made me cry, potentially harder than 100. just the sheer 180 spencer reid gave from treating that poor girl's father to the way he treated her, i'm sorry it just, hits me so hard. and what morcia stan could forget 'exit wounds'?

season 6: ooh this was a great season. starting off strong with the premiere, 'the longest night', brilliantly written, loved shemar's acting, a wonderful episode, i have never felt less sympathy for an unsub. '25 to life', another wonderful derek-centric episode. derek is, hands down, one of the best profilers on the team and i have and always will trust his judgement. 'today i do' was another one that i didn't completely hate. the psychology behind that episode made sense, it was something i could definitely understand. and obviously, the whole ian doyle arc was amazing. i loved that.

okay, i've talked about 'coda' before. it was a great episode with one, one tiny flaw. i never understood the anti-seavers before today. y'all are fighting for the wrong reason. she is the epitome of ignorant ableism. she accused a child, A TEN YEAR OLD CHILD with autism of homicide. she accused a child of killing his parents. because he had autism. and the defense. the only defense. they could think of was that statistically, that sort of crime had a financial motive. are you kidding me? he was a child. that was raised with love and kindness. are you kidding me? i'm sorry, spencer playing piano with said child barely won me over.

season 7: off the top of my head, 'it takes a village' because reid's outfit and omg it was so brilliantly written. 'dorado falls' was pretty good, the PTSD was fairly accurately written. 'there's no place like home' purely for reid's frankenstein reference and willifer again. 'hope' was wonderfully written, my favourite penelope-centric episode ever. 'true genius' because it resonated with me so hard. the burnt-out gifted kid thing. i get it spence. 'snake eyes' because it was reid-centric and i loved him in that episode. also portrays gambling pretty well. it's often not seen as a serious addiction on tv, probably because it benefits big corporations. 'foundation' because it's a derek-centric episode and literally every derek-centric ep is amazing. and finally, 'hit' + 'run' are amazing episodes because willifer, emily completing her arc and spencer in a doctor who stume. let's just say this season did wonders for spencer's attractiveness.

kay, i'm gonna stop here or i'm never gonna stop. but those are my favourite episodes and why for every season.

What do you think of moreid?

Since i know a lot of people that hate jeid, but love moreid, which is weird because in my mind i see both of them like a sibling relationship, but idk, maybe i’m wrong

I talked about this a little in this cm ships q but yeah I get it because they are both so hot 🥵🥵🥵 and they have a great relationship!

but I’m also so pro-morcia that it’s hard for me to see Derek with anyone else (including savannah but that’s a whole separate thing 🥴😬).

I don’t think there’s really any “wrong” answer when it comes to ships. and viewing their relationship as a sibling-esque one is totally valid (ie Derek refers to Spencer as “kid,” they have typical sibling-like teasing, etc.)

I know I was very aggressive in that ships ask LMAO but honestly it’s a fictional show with fictional characters so like... there aren’t rules lol. and you can read whatever you like into any relationship!

TL;DR — I don’t necessarily ship moreid but I’m not anti-moreid? if that makes sense

Okay, so there’s a lil ficlet about the second part coming soon, so I’ll just do likes n dislikes for now! :) <3 And I’m not gonna list them all, just a few that come to mind!

Likes

- Stuffed animals! He’s got a few that are near and dear to his heart, but he likes the way that they feel. They’re soft.

- Crunchy leaves. He love love loves to step on them in the fall. They make a nice noise!

- Watching the gears of things spin. It’s a good visual stim.

- He likes to brush his fingers over book pages. Like when they’re closed. I don’t know how else to describe this.

- He has a rocking chair that he loves to sit in and rock in, and when he eventually has a house, he’s got a porch swing.

Dislikes

- Corduroy. This is an anti-corduroy blog. Nobody likes it. Especially Spencer.

- Extra spicy foods. They’re too much for him, he doesn’t like them much.

- Slimy foods. It feels like eating worms.

- Hairspray. No. Stiff hair is ick.

hey cherry, i’ve seen your posts about why you add “tw” to some ships, but i just wanted to say that i don’t think you should be adding those tags to other people’s posts about whatever ships especially when the posts are saying post utube things about the ship. for instance, i saw your reblog of taht post saying that there’s no way penelope and derek have a sibling like relationship and you replied to it saying that penelope is a lesbian, and while that opinion is totally fine i don’t think you should be adding that to a post about morcia. taht person made that post for people who enjoy morcia, and i think it’s best to just let the target audience interact with it.

like that post from a while ago that was being anti moreid but they put it in the moreid tag, in that reblog you were doing something very similar by just saying the complete opposite of the op directly to them.

i don’t mean this to be hate at all, i’m just trying to give some constructive criticism, but you can just ignore this ask if you want to.

And here’s the link [X]. Look at the tags... do you see the tone indicator? Do you see the “their ship is completely possible”? Are you going out of your way to ignore the original intent I had? I tagged it as “tw morcia” because, EVEN THOUGH I MADE IT CLEAR THAT I WAS JOKING, someone might still not like it, and therefore I add the tag where I’m bashing on something... is that understandable?

If the original poster (in this case @prentissology) wanted me to take that post down, I would’ve! No questions asked! If anyone , for that matter, wanted me to take down the post, I would’ve, no questions asked!! But nobody told me that they didn’t like my rb, even though it was satire!! And if someone had said “could you please delete this post” without further explanation, I still would’ve!!! Because no one should have to explain why they got hurt by a random ass fandom post!! But guess what, no one asked me. No asks, no pms, no nothing. So I didn’t see any harm, BECAUSE I SPECIFIED THAT I WAS JUST JOKING!!

Also, yes I did that with the moreid post because they went in the moreid tag!! They went and bashed on something without being precautious to those who actually enjoy it!! So yeah, I got defensive and contradicted them. Which I wouldn’t have done had they tagged it right from the beginning!!
