Tonight was the night—you were certain.
Tonight you’d worn your best clothes and redone your makeup twice. You prepared to drink until you were drunk of sorrow or happiness, one of the two.
“You’re not allowed to say that.” Robin chided over the phone as you walked to the bar and roll your eyes, “Think positive! He’s your friend, if he doesn’t return your feelings, how mean could he be about it?”
“I know he won’t be mean, Rob, he’s perfect!” You whine. “If he’s gonna let me down I know he’d do it in the sweetest most earth shattering way.” You watched the sidewalk pass beneath your feet and tried not to imagine the look of disappointment on his face.
“I have it on good authority that people can still be friends even after one rejects the other! Just look at me and Steve. We’ve been sailing this platonic love boat for years now! His dorky love confession is just a blip in the past now—“
“Whoa, wait, my love confession was not dorky—“ You hear Steve in the background and roll your eyes as you come to a stop before the sticker covered door that you’d grown quite fond of, this being Eddie’s favorite spot.
“Alrighty, Rob. I’m here.” You mumble and lean against the building.
Robin gasps, “Okayloveyou, call me after please, byeeeeee!” She almost sings as you end the call.
You take a deep breath and pull the door open. You’re so distracted looking for Eddie that you nearly blow right by the bouncer, sat at his laptop watching Lord of the Rings as he checked IDs.
You roll your eyes as he shoots you a questioning look, comparing your birthdate to your face before handing it back to you. You mumble a thanks and let your eyes scan the seats along the bar, where Eddie always sat.
You wondered if you beat him here for once, if you could be the one with two drinks waiting in front of you to be shared when he sat down like he’d always had with you.
You wonder if he’ll compliment your outfit, if he’ll even notice it. He typically always had a little compliment at the ready for you, about your hair or perfume, simple words that made you wanna shudder and savor the feeling forever.
A group of people grabbing drinks from the bartender caught your attention. They laughed merrily with each other and grabbed two tall glasses each to take to their awaiting table of friends, but when they moved, they also revealed a scene you never wanted to see; Eddie sat at the bar, and a gorgeous girl in your spot next to him.
Your heart ached and sank in your body, the beating of it suddenly so powerful it thudded in your chest. You wanted to swallow the lump in your throat, but your mouth was so dry you couldn’t, it just added to the sandpaper feeling prickling all the way down.
You wanted to cry at the way Eddie’s shoulders shook with a chuckle, facing the wall of bottles while she faced him, leaning closer on her hand and letting her ample cleavage show. She wore a red dress, one you wouldn’t even dream of wearing. Her lips were painted the same color and her eyes were lined with black so thick it reminded you of the music videos that sometimes played at the music store Eddie worked at.
She was perfect. And you suddenly felt as if you were not.
You feel someone bump into your shoulder and realize you were standing in the middle of traffic, grabbing a place at the bar with shaking hands, on the other side of three large old men that frequented the bar too.
Your mind was reeling and spinning without any alcohol to fuel it, so you opted for a water to collect yourself. When the bartender sat the tall glass in front of you, you take three big gulps of it and then some deep breaths. “Just go on over there, honey.” A gruff voice said.
“Yeah, that’s your spot!” Another said.
You turn to the right to see the old men looking at you, their leather vests, fading tattoos, and bald heads usually intimidating you, but when you saw them now, looking at you, you only saw concern in their eyes. You shake your head, “I don’t know what you mean.”
The men chuckle kindly, “Sweetheart, we know that’s your boy over there. And that broad has been buggin him for the last ten minutes about buying her drinks.”
Your brows push together and you lean over to view the two down on the other side of the man that spoke to you. Eddie had a tense smile, one he used when he didn’t wanna be rude.
“He could be nervous. She’s awfully pretty,” You think.
Another one of the men notice the skeptical look on your face, “He’s here to see you, ain’t he?” He asks incredulously through his thick mustache.
You shrug and nod, “We come here every week. W-We’re just friends though, so I should leave him alone.”
The men chuckle again before the third one pipes up, “Uh-uh! We gotta pool goin on how long it’ll take you guys to kiss. Poor boy always looks like he’s gonna make a move and doesn’t.” He rolled his eyes and his friends agreed.
Your jaw dropped, amusement on your face, “He does not!” You quietly chide before sneaking another glance at Eddie’s almost cowering figure as he kept his body facing straight, barely turning his head to respond to the girl.
“Between you and me,” the man closest to her almost mumbled, “if y’all kiss after this week, I lose—so it’s now or never.” He tsked and took a swig of his bottled bud light. You blush crimson and close your eyes. “If you go over there and plant one on loverboy, I’ll give you $50.” He held out his hand for you to shake.
You try not to chuckle when you notice these old men have you almost convinced. You take a deep breath and shake his hand, “I have to right now?” You ask.
“You just have to go over there right now, okay? And if it don’t work out, you gotta seat right back over here.” He nodded and gave you a firm pat on the back that almost knocked you over as you picked up or water and climbed off the stool. As you pass by them, you hear their rumbling cheers while they no doubt watch you.
You keep stepping towards where Eddie and the girl sat, Eddie’s hair practically a curtain between himself and her.
“You’re just shy, aren’t you?” She purred when you got close enough. She reached out to stroke Eddie’s hand that rested on the counter only for him to drag it away into his pocket.
“Nah, no, I-I’m typically not.” He said with a dry chuckle.
The girl tsked and leaned forward as you stepped up right behind her, still undetected, “Aww, so you just act this way for little ole me? All cute and shy?” She flattered herself and giggled in a way that you figured was supposed to be alluring.
As Eddie turns his head to face her, you step over next to him and put a hand on his shoulder, “Actually I think you just make him uncomfortable.” You remark, as you look her over and school your face to look unimpressed with the girl before you, as if you hadn’t envied her at first sight.
You look at Eddie, who stared at you with brown eyes wide with awe. Your lips twitch when they attempt to smile at the two waiting glasses in front of him, sips yet to be taken. “Can I have my seat or do I need to sit in his lap for you to understand?” You look back at her coldly.
She scoffs and looks between you two as she stands with her purse and returns to her table of friends in the corner.
You exhale deeply and look over at your biker friends who had heard the whole exchange. They raised their newest glasses to you and drank with hearty laughter.
“Friends of yours?” He asks with a uneasy chuckle, checking out the old men skeptically before he spotted their patches and smiled.
You shrug, “New friends.”
He nodded. You lingered by Eddie, your hand still on his shoulder before you move to sit in your spot, “My lap, huh?” He chuckled, amused and impressed at your display of courage he’d never seen before.
You plop down, the seat pleasantly warm from the bitch that previously occupied it. “Yeah, sorry about that, you just seemed…” you shook your head as he nodded gently.
“Thank you.” He looked you over, his eyes growing large again when they paused at your chest. “You look… fantastic, wow.” He says with a dumbstruck smile as he took you in again.
You chuckle and shake your head, “Oh, this old thing. Just threw it on, y’know, but, uh, I’m-I’m glad you like it!” You smile at him, feeling the difference in the air between you tonight. It felt good. Full of possibility.
Eddie clears his throat and slides your drink over to you. “A toast— to my best friend;” he started as you lift your glass with a quirked brow, “The bravest, wittiest ….” He hesitated, peering into your eyes, “…prettiest girl I know.” He nodded as he finished.
“Here, here!” The familiar gruff voices echoed behind you in agreement, lifting their shots before throwing them back. You guys chuckle and sip your beers, your nose wrinkling at the first taste as you usually did.
Eddie chuckled at you as you set the glass down, foam on your upper lip. “What?”
“You got a little…” he pointed at your mouth, but didn’t give you a chance to clean it yourself, bringing his thumb up to wipe it off with one gentle swipe. “There… much better.” He said softly, his face inches from yours. His touch sending pins and needles where he touched. He’d never touched your face before—not to mention your lips.
You look down and blush, finding your knees between his and his body leaned close to yours. He looked so much more like himself now, that ornery glint in his eye, his boyish smile that always said ‘trouble’ when he flashed one your way.
You watch his ringed hand rest on your knee, stroking in loving circles before you look up at him, his gaze more serious, yet not stone. Something else was hidden in the look he gave you, something that felt familiar to you.
He whispers your name, “—Tell me something.”
You cock your head and give him a single nod, “What’s to tell?”
He scoffs and rolls his eyes before taking a drink, “S’gonna be like that, huh?” He looks at you again, playful smile on display as he leans closer to you again.
“Like what?” You chuckle, enjoying this game. Eddie rolls his eyes with a smile and goes to turn back forward when you catch his knee, “No, no,” you pat him before turning him to you by the knee in your grip, Eddie’s gaze darkening as his eyes flicked back up to yours. “No need for that.”
You go to withdrawal your hand, but he catches it., “Were you jealous?” He asked, his hand stop yours.
You can’t help but balk, your mouth opening and eyes widening before you can pinch your brows together and shake your head, “N-No,” you find yourself in the lie, “I just—“ you shrug, finding his eyes on yours expectantly, obviously working hard to keep his mouth straight and resisting the smile that threatened to curl up at the corners.
“Just?” He prodded.
“Like—ugh, the way she was touching you. And looking at you—”
“And… that’s not jealous?” He broke a little, one side of his smile lifting as he bit the other cheek.
Your cheeks blossom into magenta, your avoidant smile rising up on your face as you grab your drink as a buffer, not daring to move your other hand from his grasp. Eddie watches you as you gulp the brew and set down the glass, wiping your mouth with the back of your hand.
“Okay, maybe a little..” you shrug before looking up at him from under your lashes, your eyes darting back down when you saw his smirk.
Oh, great. It’s a joke to him.
“But if it was a guy, okay,” you start, “And if I was you, and I was looking the same way you did, you’d do the same thing, wouldn’t you?” You shrug in question. “You’d wanna protect me from an unwelcome conversation, right?”
Eddie nodded, “Yeah, absolutely.”
“See?” You go to move your hand from his, turning to face the bar when he catches you again.
“To protect you, yes.” He said, hidden urgency in his eyes as he squeezed your hand gently, “—But also because I’d be jealous.” He smiles at your hesitance to believe him as you gently shake your head in disbelief.
“So.. now would be a good time to tell you about my feelings?” You ask quietly.
“Feelings?” He asks in feigned incredulity. You fight the blooming smile as he teases you. “Feelings about what?” He mocks you at your own game.
You roll your eyes and push at his chest, smiling when he caught your wrist and released your other, turning his hand to face palm up, his fingers lingering on yours in the hope you’d wind your fingers through his.
And you do, just as he’s begun stroking his thumb over your hand, the one he caught on his heart.
“Tell me.” He says just above a whisper despite the chaotic barroom.
You nod, “I… I like you. A lot. An embarrassing amount, actually— since the day we met.” You stumble, looking down at the rings on his hands you’d never brought yourself to play with, though you thought about it a lot.
You’d never held hands like this before, always sure to stay in your own bubbles. But tonight, everything was different, and you both knew it wouldn’t ever be the same.
“I was hoping you’d say that.” He said casually.
You look up at him in surprise, to find him leaning forward and releasing your hand to hold you steady as he pressed a kiss to your lips. Your eyes melt closed and you kiss him back, not shying away from the urge to touch his face and neck.
You barely hear the cheers behind you until Eddie breaks the kiss to glance at your friends a few seats down the bar. You turn shyly to find them paying their tabs and handing cash to the man that convinced you to come over here in the first place.
He saunters over to you, cap on his head and a new dip in his mouth, the lump bulging beneath his bottom lip. “Here ya go, darlin, take your new boyfriend out on a date.” He dropped a fifty in front of you and shoved his winnings away in his pocket.
Your jaw drops and you go to hand it back to him, “Sir, I can’t take this—“
“The hell you can’t!” He said as his friends joined him, one of them taking his free hand. “I’m $200 richer because of you, let me share the wealth!”
“Gary, you leave them alone.” The man chided. “Congratulations, you two,” he said when he turned to you, “Seeing you guys here these last few months had us thinking about our old times—Gary and I have been coming here with our friends since ‘82.” He beamed at his partner and it was only then you noticed the pride flag patch, beneath the Satyrs Motorcycle Club emblem, along with a BACA patch to boot.
You smiled warmly as Eddie took your hand again and swiftly pocketed the $50 for you. “Well, we owe you fellas drinks the next time we meet!” Eddie said.
You smile at his heart and nod in agreement, “Thank you, so much.” You smile at Gary who nodded.
“We wish y’all the best—treat her right, pretty boy, she knows where to find me.” He pointed a thick callused finger in his direction with a teasing wink and a final pat on the back as they departed, hearing the unmistakeable revving of their friends preparing to leave.
Eddie looked back at you as you sighed, the tension from the last couple weeks finally falling away with each careful stroke of his thumb over your hand.
I could get used to this, you think.
“So…” Eddie said, in the way he always did when he had a new plan of action, “How about… we blow this popsicle stand, grab some food and then.. maybe spend the night at yours.” He said, looking down at your hands as he spoke, the way he did when he was shy.
You smile and think about the advantages you have now that your best friend might just be your boyfriend, how well you know each other already. How easy this felt since you said the words that felt like wire bristles coming out of your throat.
“Spend the night?” You ask with a hand pressed to your chest. Eddie blushes as he meets your eye, not bothering to clarify the sentiment of spending the evening at your place like you’d done plenty of times before.
But never spending the night.
You bit your lip before letting it slip out of your teeth, “You wanna?” You ask quietly.
His eyes shift again, that darkness taking over again as his mischief fell and lust took hold of him. He nodded.
“And before our first date!” You say in a theatrical gasp that had him giggling and shaking his head before taking a drink.
“We don’t have to if you don’t want to—“
“Who said that?” You scoff, taking a sip of the water you brought over with you as Eddie chuckled into his now free hands, shaking his head and groaning, “you’re unbelievable.”
“I bet it won’t be the last time you say that tonight.” You say daringly.
Eddie’s mouth drops open before he lurches off his stool to pay your tabs. As he stands in line his gaze keeps drifting back to you, knowing you’re watching him with a coy smile he’d never gotten to see before now. He figures now you must’ve been too nervous and it makes him chuckle as he looks you over again.
You notice this and shoot him a look, narrowed eyes and a suspicious smirk, only able to guess what he’s thinking about you.
Your eyes shift behind him to find the girl from earlier still sitting in the corner, her eyes on you with curiosity. You wonder if she saw your kiss, or how Eddie held your hands. Before you can think too much about it, Eddie’s obstructing your view as he approaches and holds out his hand for you, something else he hadn’t done before.
You take it gratefully and smile as you fix your purse. You step forward and feel his hand at your lower back, almost bringing you to your knees at first. You gathered yourself quickly and smiled when you saw his hand shoot out from behind you to grab the door, ushering you through into the warm night air.
His hand slips into yours and he pulls you closer to him. His smile is set on you and he wraps his arms around you, staring at you for just a minute.
“Thanks for my drink.” You smile, finding a hand on his chest and the other stroking the column of his neck.
He chuckles, “Of course. More than happy to cover my girl’s drinks.”
“Ooh, your girl.” You sing teasingly.
You feel him stroking your back at the edge of your shirt where a sliver of skin was exposed. “Yeah. Unless your mind has changed about me in the last five minutes—“
You’re quick to cut him off with a shake of your head and a “Mm-mm, nope!” That sends him smiling wider as he pulls you over to his car.
“You didn’t drive, did you?” He asks as you approach the Kia. You shake your head again and catch his smirk.
“You dirty dog.” He tsks and puts his hand against the passenger door you leaned against.
“What??” You ask through a giggle.
“You came here with a plan didn’t you!” He leaned in close, til his nose brushed yours and you could smell the alcohol on his breath. You thought he was going to kiss you before he pulled back and appraised you. “What—plan A I’m your ride, plan B, you Uber?” He asks.
You nod.
“I’d never let you get into an Uber.” He scoffs and opens the door for you, guiding your body around the door and into the car.
He watches you buckle up, and waits patiently til you look up at him in question, wondering if he asked something you didn’t hear.
“What?” You ask softly, trying not to melt at the way he looked at you.
He shakes his head gently, “Nothin,” he leans closer to you, “Just… glad I don’t have to pretend anymore. Feels nice.” He smiles again. You nod in agreement. “Plus I need a kiss from my girlfriend if she wants a ride home.” He pauses right in front of your lips waiting to you to close the rest of the distance.
“Is that how it’s gonna be, Munson?” You ask.
He nods, “Oh, yeah, I’m capitalizing on it. I’ll do anything for you if it means I get a kiss.” He looks down to your lips and back up again.
You smile and push your lips to his, with more fervor than you did in the bar, his lips warmer and wetter than before. Eddie practically drops to his knees to keep the kiss going, internally debating on climbing inside the car this way until—
“Excuse me? Excu—Excuse me!” A voice said from in front of the car. You’re the one to pull out of the kiss, Eddie following you before following your gaze and finding the girl from earlier, her friends behind her as she holds her keys in her hand, “Can I get into my car please?” She asks in uncomfortable calm.
Eddie stands up, “Oh, yeah, for sure!” He shuts your door and jogs around the front of the car without another look in her direction, scrambling inside the car and starting it just to turn to you and pull you in to continue your kiss.
You crack your eyes open to find the girl’s friends opening the back doors to her car and piling in, as she remained frozen to the spot, her mouth dropped as she watched how Eddie kissed you. You close your eyes and open your mouth just a bit more and feel Eddie’s tongue slide inside, and you hate that you hoped she saw it.
You moan into his mouth and let him explore before tangling your tongue with his. His taste was intoxicating, even after the beer. Kissing him in his car was a different feeling than kissing in the bar, this was more private—special even.
You’d spent a lot of time in the passenger seat of his car, smoking, telling secrets, singing together, crying after hard days, eating take out when neither of you feel like cooking, it was another one of the places that was special to you because it was somewhere you shared with Eddie. And now you got to share this in here too.
Eddie let out a savoring groan before parting his lips from yours. “Now that, was unbelievable.” You said as he smiled in the same goofy way he always did.
You giggle and look away as he turns up the music and put the car in reverse. “Bet it won’t be the last time you say that tonight.” He says before sticking his tongue out. You look over at him with a glimmer in your eye and a smirk that had him driving 15 over the speed limit and kissing your hand every few seconds, like he had waited for this just as long as you had.
And just in case you’re wondering—Eddie had you calling him unbelievable (and a few other things) by the end of the night.

So I have a request for a Miguel fic, if you are willing to do it. 😊🤗
So...Miguel has a family but he hasn't told the other Spiders. One day he has to take his baby to work to look after him for a while. But then, in his office, bang the Spiders and see Miguel with a baby in his arms/or in a baby carrier. Later Miguel's wife comes in the picture too to take the baby in their universe.
OKAY I LOVE MIGUEL WITH A KID SM
So I know people were asking me for a part 2 on my other one so I’m gonna work on it but obviously it’s these requests firsttt
Thank you all so much for the support 💕
—————————————————————————
“”Are you infected??”
—————————————————————————
You were typically the one to watch the kids, the double trouble twins. Miguel was a busy man, protecting the spider-verse and all, so you would work from home and play with the twins. It wasn’t so bad, of course Miguel felt bad that he couldn’t have as close of a relationship with them but they still very much knew who their daddy was ((and you did too 😳)). But overall it was a good system and you would get to take things slow at home while being a fun mother.
However, every so often there was days you would need to go into work, very rare but still at least a semiannual occurrence. Sometimes you would even take them into work and they would end up bothering coworkers, but most times you were able to get a family member or close friend to watch them but as they’ve gotten older, spider powers started to shine through. Not only was it hard to control them but it would be too revealing.
Obviously nobody knew Miguel was spider-man, but if two twins started to hang on ceilings, people would eventually put two and two together. This meant you couldn’t leave them with family, resulting in Miguel carrying them around in double baby backpacks. One would be on his chest, the other in him back.
Miguel, in typical fashion, stayed in his office. Nobody assumed anything by his yelling, the man was weird, what would be surprising if he was schizo? Although every now and then people would look at each other, it didn’t sound like typical frustration or talking to himself, it was almost a back and forth. They were in no way heavy, but oh my, they were annoying. How did you get a grip on these two? They’re animals. Halfway through the day, the twins got out of the carriers and there was no going back.
“Put that down! Ay- I’m sorry don’t cry- HEY”. Miguel was struggling, because he loved the kids and he felt so bad for yelling but they wouldn’t listen. He thought to himself about the teens. You’d think as they get older they’d be better, but he saw himself comparing them to his 1 year old twins.
Disgusted at the thought, he grabbed them and webbed their hands. They giggled, struggling to get it off. It was a good distraction….. for like 3 minutes, then they were back to running around. He tried playing fetch with the twins but that didn’t go very well. They were just.. confused. Why did he throw the toy the just got. Although he appreciated their thinking skills, he really had no idea what to do. He held both of his kids, they hung from his arms and were climbing around him like a jungle gym.
Completely lost in thought about his children dilemma, the doors to his office opened, and the lovely teen band walked in. What a sight for them to see. Miguel standing completely disheveled and staring into space, a kid on his shoulder grabbing his ear, and another kid gorilla hugging his ((massive)) leg and trying to bite the suit.
Panic bells went off, everybody rushing over to Miguel. Was this an attack, was Miguel okay? Oh my gosh he’s being attacked by alien morphing baby things. As they all got ready to ready for the babies, Miguel jumped back, making sure to grab hold of his kids, and getting defensive.
“What the hell is your guys problem?!!” He shouted, sheltering both of his kids, who were now on high alert and looking fearful.
“Are those Aliena??? What happened to you, what did they do?? Why do you look like that!” Miles replied back to him, pointing his fingers at both babies. “Are you infected??”
Hobie, naturally didn’t look concerned, and stop back. “Mate, they look just like him”
“They bit him and took his DNA!! That’s why he’s protecting him”, Pavitr shouted while getting in an offensive position. Hobie almost lost is as he hurled over. Gwen looked over for a moment, then back to Miguel. “Wait… those are your kids”
“WHAT”. Miles and Pavitr shouted, looking at the very tired Miguel. “By that doesn’t make sense- you’re not- are you married??”. Questions flew right and left, chaos ensued as the babies ran around again. Miguel was done, SO DONE with babysitting the actual babies and now the teens.
Suddenly the door opened again, a very sweaty you running through. “Oh Miggy- I’m sorry I’m late I just got so lost in this place, but I’m here for the twins”. Miguel looked over at you in panic, the teen’s immediately stopped in their tracks. As the kids ran to you, so did the teens…. and what was supposed to be Miguel’s saving grace, ended up in having everybody over for dinner.
—————————————————————————
Ahh I’m sorry if this isn’t exactly what you asked for, I traveled today to see a college and I’m writing this very late so I hope you don’t mind that it’s rushed. I’ll get more writing done this week since I’m on break, I promise!

hello, could you write something where your relationship with James is in the beginning and he's always the one who kisses you, and one day you want to kiss him but you're too embarrassed to just do it?
thank you for requesting!🫶🏽
.
James Potter was the kind of boyfriend you dreamed of having.
He was sweet, unreasonably so. He was charming and he made your head spin in the best way possible. When you were with him, you felt like his number one priority. There was never a moment with James where you felt anything but adored.
The relationship was new and still blossoming, but you knew you were in it for the long run with James. And he knew that too. You were as enamoured by him as he was with you.
And with the small time you’ve been together, you had picked up on a few of his habits. How he was never a morning person, always a little grumpy when he settled down beside you until he had some food in his stomach. How his hands moved animatedly when he spoke, regardless of what he was talking about. How he always preferred to be on your left, whether it was walking down the hallway or sitting next to you on the couch in the common room.
How he was always the one to initiate any sort of affection, whether it was a hug or a holding your hand or even a kiss.
James always initiated it and you never stopped him, because you were more than happy to let him do so.
But there were times when sometimes you wished he would turn around to catch your eye during a conversation. There were times where you wished he wasn’t so distracted by the textbook he was reading over. There were times where you wished he hadn’t run out for quidditch practice so quickly.
Because all of those times, you just wanted to kiss your boyfriend but you couldn’t bring yourself to do it. Because you didn’t want to come off as clingy or desperate. Because you didn’t want James to think you were constantly leeching onto his side for affection and love.
Because it was so early on in the relationship and you didn’t want to ruin anything, even if your fingers itched to pull him down for a kiss more often than not.
“You good?”
Your eyes snapped away from the random patch of grass you had been blankly staring at for the past few minutes, instead focusing on the boy beside you who had a look of concern splashed across his face.
“Huh?” You blinked before smiling. “Yeah, I’m fine.”
His brows furrowed together. “You gonna tell me the truth now?”
You rolled your eyes, trying to play off his question as you turned back to the book on your lap. “I’m fine, James, honestly.”
“Ouch, my full name as well,” James murmured, poking your thigh slightly. “What did I do?”
Your face softened slightly. “Nothing, you didn’t do anything.”
Because it was true.
It was a Saturday afternoon, you were sprawled out on a picnic blanket with your boyfriend. You had a good book in your lap, with James leaning against you like a pillow as he dozed off, and the moment couldn’t have been more perfect.
If it weren’t for your racing thoughts.
“Baby,” he groaned softly as he propped himself up on his elbow, giving you a pointed look. “Tell me what’s going on in that pretty head of yours.”
There was a small pause.
“Please?”
You sighed as you sagged back against the tree he had set the blanket under. Your eyes focused on anywhere but your boyfriend, your cheeks heating in embarrassment as you muttered out your response.
“I want to kiss you.”
James raised his brows, trying to bite back the grin that wanted to spread across his face. “Yeah?”
“You want to laugh,” you grumbled as you reached up to cover your face, but he quickly grabbed your hands before you could do so.
“No, baby, no,” James shook his head, grinning at you. “I would never laugh at you. I think it’s cute.”
“You do?”
“Yeah, you can kiss me whenever you want, princess,” he murmured, his thumb rubbing soothing circles against your inner wrist. “Don’t need to worry that big brain of yours over it.”
“I just…” you trailed off with a sigh. “I don’t know, I just thought maybe you wouldn’t want it?”
James almost looked offended. “Princess, I would kiss you all day if I could.”
You snorted.
“I’m serious,” James continued, sitting up a little so his face was a few inches away from yours. “That would be my dream job.”
“You’re an idiot,” you murmured affectionately.
“An idiot who’s waiting for his pretty girlfriend to kiss him,” James corrected.
It was hard to kiss him when you were grinning like an idiot yourself, but you did your best as you leaned forward with a hand pressed against his cheek. You kissed him like you had been wanting to kiss him for ages. You kissed him like it would be your last time.
It was soft but eager, and James didn’t think he could ever get tired of your kisses.
“Good,” he murmured against your lips, his nose nudging against yours before he leaned down to kiss you again. “I expect that every five minutes now.”
And his grin only widened when you leaned your head back to laugh

summary: in which the Doctor's habit of licking things finally has consequences. Based on a request from the lovely @internet-stranger-says-hi
A/N: this is a rework of one of my older fics originally titled "Figure it Out" :)
Tumblr media
The Doctor was a 900-year-old toddler. Sometimes, you felt more like a tired school teacher than a time-travel companion.
“Do not put that in your mouth!” was something that you had never figured would frequent your daily vocabulary. It was his horrible habit - putting things in his mouth without thinking about it. Honestly, he could just scan stuff with the Sonic Screwdriver. But, no, he just had to lick it. It was almost a weekly occurrence that he would end up licking something. You had to be constantly alert to ensure he didn’t contract some space disease.
Somehow, he had managed to evade any kind of consequences of licking strange objects. That was, until today.
The Doctor needed to find a certain kind of space rock. However, he didn’t tell you that he needed to taste the rock to ensure it was the right one. Before you could stop him, he was lapping at a small rock he had found inquisitively.
“Doctor!” you scolded, swatting the rock away from him.
“What?” He frowned, upset that you had distracted him from his studies.
“That could be some poisonous alien thing,” you emphasized the last word, distressed.
“It probably is,” he smiled like it was a good thing. You wanted to slap him.
“You’re gonna get yourself killed!” you scolded.
“It’s not like it’s coated in cyanide,” he shrugged, “which doesn't really affect me much anyway.”
“Are you saying it was poisoned?!”
“If you’d let me taste it again I could tell you for sure,” he pouted, eyeing the rock excitedly.
“I’m not letting you lick that thing again,” you furrowed your brow, moving the rock out of his reach.
He groaned, looking up at you with puppy dog eyes. As adorable as he looked, you weren’t going to let him put the rock in his mouth again.
“Absolutely not,” you commanded, frustrated.
“If you let me taste it again I can tell you if it’s the rock I need,” he argued, still pouting at you.
“The TARDIS can tell you that,” you said, turning on your heel to walk away from him.
He whined, trudging after you as you stomped back towards the ship. You loved the alien dearly, but he was too careless for his own good. He was convinced he was invincible, but he wasn’t.
“Please, just one lick?” he begged again as you opened the doors to the ship.
“No,” you said for the hundredth time.
You slipped through the blue doors, dragging the Doctor behind you by this sleeve. You stopped listening to his grumbles as you locked the doors behind you.
You felt his slender arms wrap around you, and his face came to rest against your shoulder. You stiffened under his touch. It wasn’t that you didn’t like the contact, more so the opposite. The Doctor had never touched you like this. He was a man of small touches: handholding and celebratory hugs. But never intimate cuddles like this.
“You’re amazing,” he nuzzled into your neck. You shook him off of you begrudgingly, turning to face him with furrowed eyebrows.
“If this is your tactic to get me to give you the rock, it isn’t working.”
The Doctor’s eyes traveled to the object you were gesturing with, a look of confusion on his face.
“I don’t want that thing,” he blubbered. You tilted your head, confused.
“You were just begging me for it two seconds ago.”
“I want you,” he tried to hug you again, but you evaded his touch.
“What has gotten into you?”
The Doctor mumbled a strand of incoherent words that you didn’t understand and moved to grab you again. You skirted out of his grasp, clutching the rock to your chest. You didn’t understand why he was acting like this.
You looked down at the object in your hands. Without thinking about it too much you ran to the door and chucked the rock outside. You slumped back against the doors with a sigh, clenching your eyes shut in hopes it would fix things.
When you opened them, the Doctor’s face was all you saw. He smiled the minute he made eye contact with you, eliciting a small yelp from you.
You planted your hands firmly on his chest and pushed him backward so you could move past him.
“Where are you going?” He whined, chasing after you again. You whipped your head back around, flabbergasted. Why on Earth was he acting like this?
“I’m taking you to bed,” you grumbled, “so you can sleep this off,” you gestured wildly with your hands. You couldn’t think of much else to do with the inebriated Time Lord.
“I’m fine!” he slurred, swaying slightly.
You shook your head and took his hand, dragging him back towards his bedroom. Honestly, you didn’t get paid enough for this nonsense. You didn’t get paid at all!
“You’re beautiful,” the Doctor hummed as you dragged him through the corridors.
“Shh,” you scolded, trying to navigate the winding hallways. You had enough trouble finding your own rooms, the Doctor’s were a whole other story.
“I love you,” He said matter of factly. You stopped in your tracks, dropping his hand. Your brain struggled to catch up, still processing his words. You turned to look at him in shock. The Doctor didn’t say those words. He just didn’t. It was hard for him, being that emotionally vulnerable. He never said it, especially not to you.
“Stop it,” you laughed uncomfortably. He had to be messing with you now, and you really didn’t find it funny. Not at all.
“I love you,” he repeated, furrowing his brow in frustration.
“No, you do not.”
“Yes, I do.”
“You’re drunk,” you explained. You weren’t sure if that was what was going on, but he was certainly affected in some way.
You grabbed his sleeve again and dragged him down the hall, relieved to see his door at the end.
“You need to sleep this off,” you said as you dragged him through it.
He protested as you led him to bed, pulling back the sheets so he could crawl in. He was still grumbling as you tucked him in.
“‘M fine,” he mumbled, nestling his face into a pillow. He passed out a few seconds later, his soft snores already filling the room. You sighed and closed the door.
It was about time that the Doctor’s recklessness caught up to him. After all of the things he had put in his mouth without thinking, you were surprised it had taken this long for one to elicit a bad reaction. You had just figured he’d get sick. Turn green or throw up. Something that you could handle. Unsolicited confessions of love weren’t exactly on your list of things you were prepared for the Doctor to do.
You decided to make use of the quiet in the TARDIS by cleaning up the control room. It could use a good mopping and declutter. Plus, it gave you time to think about the Doctor’s words. Clearly, he hadn’t meant any of it. It was just the unknown alien substance talking, right? Surly, the Doctor didn’t love you.
You were wiping the console off, lost in thought, when the Doctor walked into the control room.
“Hey,” he said, strutting his way over to you. You stopped your work and looked up at the Doctor wide-eyed. You had been so preoccupied, that you had almost forgotten he was in the other room.
“Hey,” you gasped, setting your cleaning supplies to the side. “How are you feeling?”
“My head’s a little heavy, but other than that I’m quite alright,” he smiled. You looked away from him, embarrassed.
“That’s good,” you said, more to the floor than the Doctor.
“Can we talk about it?” he asked gently, his hand moving towards your arm. He decided it was best not to touch you, instead, he settled for resting his hand on the console next to you.
“It’s ok,” you shook your head, “I know it was just the poison,” you looked at him with a pained smile on your face.
“We can just move on,” you said.
“What?” The Doctor frowned.
You looked back at him, eyebrows furrowed. “Do you not remember?” If he had some kind of amnesia that might make this whole conversation a lot easier.
“No, I do,” he shook his head, “I just don’t want to move on.”
You didn’t quite know what to say, so you just remained silent.
“I really care about you,” he whispered, catching your eye. His honey-brown eyes glistened with a sadness that you knew all too well.
“More than I have ever cared about anyone before,” he moved his hand slightly so it was brushing yours. Your eyes traveled to where your hands connected, and you found it hard to look away.
The Doctor guided your face up gently so he could look at you. The feeling of his hand on your chin sent sparks through your body.
“I’m sorry that it took some alien poison to get me to tell you,” he said earnestly.
“It’s ok,” you whispered, hopelessly lost in his eyes. He let your chin go, his hand dropping down to his side.
“I just wanted you to know that,” he said, looking away from you. He started to back away from you, and you acted on impulse. If the Doctor could make impromptu confessions of adoration, so could you.
You grabbed his tie and dragged him back towards you, crashing your mouth into his. He was shocked at first, but quickly relaxed into the kiss, his arms wrapping tightly around you. You felt safe and secure in his arms like you had finally found the place you were supposed to be.
You pulled away for air, looking at his face adoringly. He really was the most attractive alien you had ever seen.
The Doctor pecked at your lips again and again, like he couldn’t quite get enough of you.
“How do you know that I’m not poisoned?” you laughed.
“I don’t care in the slightest,” he said between kisses.

Agents of Cat-astrophe
warning(s): none unless you count Jax note(s): This gave me a good chuckle as someone who's consistently dropping more curse words than regular words, I'd imagine the system to just censor anything and everything that comes out of my mouth at that point. A/N: (In response to the requester) I wish I was taking breaks (I mean I am sorta), I'm fully aware I'm running myself ragged right now. But it's hard for me to stop myself... I'm caffeinated and chaotic and I don't wanna stew in my brain for too long. At least I get up and stretch every now and then. Request: Anyways, I’m requesting a Jax x reader (crushing stage) where the reader is sorta at the same level of meanness as Jax and likes to do pranks with him on the other characters. Also the reader’s digital form is a short cat that at first glance makes them look nice/friendly (obviously not an actual cat but yk what I mean), and they have a sailor’s mouth that is unfortunately censored but that doesn’t stop them (can also purr and does so when they’re content which is usually when there chilling in Jax’s room or with Jax in general). I think it would be fun if the reader surprisingly was sorta nicer to Kinger and has a small soft spot for him and does more playful pranks on him than mean/harmful ones.
When you first showed up, you looked so small and frail, like a literal little kitten completely out of place in this big colourful nightmare world
Ragatha thought you’d be like Pomni, and boy howdy was she wrong
You just ended up being another Jax—who you later met and found out was also an agent of chaos
Similarly to Pomni you cursed up a storm when you first arrived and the endless censorship that came with it
You have a knack for testing Caine’s patience when it comes to your sailor’s mouth, much to Jax’s entertainment. It’s not every day Caine loses his cool like that and you’re just a newbie, needless to say, you caught his interest
That sailor’s mouth also gets used towards the other’s and Jax won’t lie and say it’s not funny because shit’s hilarious.
Sure they all curse from time to time, but you just laid out an entire sentence that was completely and utterly censored. Like the system said “fuck this I’m gonna censor the whole damn sentence”
Unlike Jax who doesn’t show any remorse for who he pranks or how cruel they are, you draw the line at messing with Kinger.
Okay, that’s a lie you still mess with him but it’s not like how you mess with the others. Kinger has this sweet unstable dad/grandpa vibe and it kind of makes the place more homey in a weird way. (plus that man has been through enough trauma, give him a break, and talk about his bug collections or some shit)
The upside is that his mind is so scattered sometimes that using the same pranks on him always results in something hilarious. So you really don’t need to try for any new material. (he also really needs to consider actually using the lock on his door, he makes it too easy)
Jax considered you his little partner in crime the more time passed—not exactly a friend nah, but like a good ol pal that also likes to partake in joining him and his bullshittery
The first time he hears you purring is when the two of you are lazing about in his room, he’d gotten distracted collecting things for a prank on someone and heard the loudest rumbling coming from behind him
“Are you fucking purring?”
It’s a little embarrassing at first, you’ve uh, never done that before..
Jax has the biggest shit-eating grin, if he wasn’t using dumb cat-themed nicknames before he sure as hell is now
“Oh, like you don’t stomp your feet like a petulant child you overgrown rabbit.”
He does not stomp his fuckin feet like a temperamental rabbit, thank you very much (that’s a fuckin lie if I ever heard one)
Jax already had mixed feelings about you before, nothing particularly bad, just feelings he couldn’t place…that was until the prank…
He doesn’t know how you did it, or how he got so wrapped up in it. But you pranked him, and you pranked him good.
Oh, oh okay that feeling is new… butterflies don’t typically belong inside your gut, now whether Jax has ever experienced a crush before or not is probably beyond him. But these little butterflies are a bitch and it takes awhile of placing two and two together to realize he’s… caught feelings to some degree
You, however, probably had a crush on him for a while, perhaps really noticing it after the whole purring fiasco when you learned that it only happened around Jax

James Potter x fem!reader ♡ 1.4k words
James listens as the door to your room opens and closes again, his unease mounting.
You’re typically quiet, but lately you’ve been quieter than usual. Normally, James can count on at least seeing you in passing, or hearing your comings and goings signaled by the ridiculously harsh creaking of the front door. You sometimes play soft music while you cook, or have a friend over to chat in your room, or listen to a podcast while you get ready in the morning.
For the last few days, there’s been none of that. If it weren’t for the occasional sound of your bedroom door and your key still on its hook in the entryway, James might think you’d moved out.
He’s been walking past your door more often today, curious and a bit concerned at what’s keeping you confined in there. Though he knows he should be more ashamed of his eavesdropping, who else is responsible for making sure you’re okay if not your roommate? Anyway, if one day he finds you dead in your bedroom, “I was trying to mind my own business” isn’t going to make a very good excuse.
When he goes by on his fourth unnecessary trip to the kitchen that afternoon, James is stopped by the startling noise of rapid-fire sneezes from behind your closed door. He’s knocking before he can second-guess himself. “Hey, you alright in there?”
There’s a great snuffling sound, and then, “Yeah, thanks,” your voice muffled.
James hesitates. He’s not sure what your definition of “alright” might be, but he doesn’t feel right going about his day when you’ve locked yourself away and are acting so strange. “Can I come in?”
“No.”
Well, that’s about as much confirmation that you’re not alright as he needs. “Are you decent?”
“I—yeah, but James—”
He cracks the door, sticking his head in just as you dive beneath the covers of your bed. The floor is covered in tissues and wrappers of some sort, dirty dishes stacked on your desk. The room actually smells like sickness, likely a result of your being in here without opening a door or window for days.
“James, please go.” Your voice is muffled by the covers, but now James can hear how congested it sounds. “I don’t want to get you sick.”
“We’re roommates, love,” he says, taking a few tentative steps toward you. “Whatever you have, I’m gonna get it eventually.”
You sneeze, your form tensing under the covers. “Not if I stay in here and you stay out there,” you insist nasally.
James crouches by your bed, careful to avoid the tissues and what he now sees are cough drop wrappers. He tugs at your sheets until you release them, pulling them down to reveal your very flushed, very displeased face. James can’t help it; his eyebrows come together and his bottom lip juts out in pity, and your glare intensifies.
Of course, it’s hard to appear very intimidating when your nose is twitching as you fight off another sneeze. After a moment you give in, pressing a tissue under your nose as your shoulders hitch. James winces in sympathy.
“How long have you been like this?” he asks, taking advantage of your distraction to touch the back of his hand to your forehead. He’s not surprised to find it warm, but the intensity of the heat that meets his hand has him inhaling sharply. He presses his palm to your cheek to be sure, but it’s the same. “Merlin, you’re burning up.”
“S’not that bad,” you say, though your next sniffle undermines the claim.
James brushes a sweaty strand of hair from your forehead, worrying his lip. “Seems pretty bad, love. I think we ought to get you to a doctor. You shouldn’t be this warm.”
You’re shaking your head before he’s finished speaking. “James, no. I want to stay here, at home.” You pull your blankets closer about your shoulders protectively. “I don’t want to sit in some freezing waiting room for hours just so they can tell me I have a cold.”
James looks at you for a moment. Your clammy forehead, your poor pinkened nose. A tiny shiver takes you, making you burrow under the blankets until just your pleading eyes are peeking out at him, and that’s what softens him to your cause. “Alright,” he sighs, “but then you need to let me take care of you.”
“But—”
“I don’t care about getting sick,” he cuts you off, leveling you with his sternest look. It’s not very well-practiced, but it does the trick, and you settle down. “You let me help, or I’ll take you to someone who will.”
You look resentful at being given an ultimatum, but nod.
“Great.” James grins, his usual affability returned. “Now when was the last time you ate?”
From that moment on, you’re on strict bed rest. James cancels his plans with Remus and Sirius for that night, both of them sending wishes that you start to feel better soon, and a call to his mum grants him access to her recipe for “get well soup.” You don’t have an appetite, but James coaxes you into eating a few spoonfuls, and the warm sensation in your throat proves too soothing to let a silly thing like appetite prevent you from finishing the bowl. James cleans your room as you eat, ignoring your protests and embarrassed groaning as he puts your tissues and wrappers into a bin, placing it beside your bed for easier access when you need it. Then, he gives you a steaming bowl of water, making you sit with a towel over your head in your own personal sauna. You complain about feeling disgusting as your sinuses empty themselves out, but admit to breathing a bit easier once it’s done. Soon you’re feeling well enough to sit up, propping yourself up on a few pillows with a full stomach and slightly clearer nasal passages while James takes your temperature with the thermometer he’d run to get from the corner store.
“Can’t believe we didn’t have one of these,” he mutters as he holds it in your ear. “One of us was bound to get ill eventually, it’s a miracle it’s taken this long.” You hum, your eyes trained on the inside of James’ forearm. It hasn’t escaped his notice that you’ve been looking at him more today than you ever have before; he supposes he owes that to the glaze of fever he can still detect in your eyes. James would never embarrass you by mentioning it, but the warmth of your gaze is nice, and he’s glad you’re not sharp enough at the moment to notice he’s as flushed as you. The thermometer beeps, and he pulls away, the tension in his brow relaxing a bit as he reads the number. “Well, it’s not nothing, but it seems lower than earlier.” He feels at your forehead again, nodding to himself. “Yeah, definitely lower.” James leaves his hand on your face a tenth of a second too long, and your eyes raise to his.
“That’s good,” you say, giving him a small smile. He returns it heartily. “I feel better, thanks.”
“Yeah?” he asks, his smile falling away when you give a small sneeze and then wince. “You sure, love? Is your head still hurting you?”
“It’s not as bad,” you sniffle, grabbing a tissue to wipe your nose. “I really think all this is helping, James, thank you. Sorry you have to be around me when I’m so gross.”
“You’re not gross, you’re lovely,” he says dismissively, moving the box of tissues closer to you when you reach for it again. “You’re incapable of being anything but lovely.”
You actually snort, the sound loud and wet. “Yeah, okay. Whatever you say.”
“I do say,” James insists. “And I’m the only one here not delirious with fever, so I think that makes mine the final opinion.”
Your cheeks get impossibly pinker, almost matching the hue of your nose, but your smile rivals James’ own. “Well, anyway, thanks for taking care of me. I really appreciate it.”
James doesn’t bother to pretend he’s feeling for a fever this time, placing a hand on your cheek and rubbing at the skin under your eye affectionately. He thinks his heart actually turns to mush when you lean into the touch. “No thanks necessary, sweetheart. Happy to do it any time.”

I hate that I saw you again last night
You were with somebody and so was I
Met you in the bathroom at 12:05
And I fucked you again
We can never be friends, yeah, yeah, yeah
“Baby, I’m gonna get another drink, you want one?” Topper screamed into your ear, trying to drown out the noise.
You shook your head with a smile and focused back on the music. They were playing your favorite song, there was no way you’d stop dancing just for another drink. The dance floor was full and still, most eyes were fixated on you, as you moved your body perfectly to the rhythm of the song. You were no professional dancer but you sure as hell knew what you were doing.
Concentrated on the music, you didn’t notice the new pair of eyes watching you from the corner of the dance floor. The young man was talking to the girl next to him but his gaze never moved from your body. The blonde must’ve noticed as her voice grew angry but the man didn’t seem to care. He wasn’t even listening to the words thrown at him, his attention only belonging to you.
The song was coming to an end and you opened your eyes back up, slowly adjusting to your surroundings. You did that sometimes while dancing, closing your eyes so you could focus more on the music and enjoy the moment instead of getting distracted by the people around you. You looked around, trying to see if you could find your boyfriend when your eyes met his. A sudden feeling of sadness and anger rushed through your body, keeping you from focusing. Your mind was all over the place, tons of thoughts blocking your mind all at once.
Unsure of how you got there, you found yourself in one of the club bathrooms, hanging above the sink. You tried to keep the tears inside your eyes and normally you were good at that but when it came to him, everything was different. You placed your hands on the sides of the sink, trying to keep your body from falling down when the door to the bathroom opened. You didn’t need to look up in order to know who it was.
“I’m pretty sure the tits on the door stand for “women”.” You spat out.
“(Y/N)…”
“What do you want, Cameron?” You hissed, now turning around to look directly into his light gray eyes.
His gaze went down to the ground, clearly trying to avoid your anger. “I don’t know… You looked sad and I… I wanted to see if you were okay.”
“I’m fine.” You hissed, turning away from him. You looked into the mirror but the girl you met looked far from fine. Sure her makeup and hair looked perfect, but her eyes told a different story. They were watery, seconds from bursting out into tears. She tried to keep herself together but the presence of the boy behind her made everything harder.
You took a deep breath and looked at the boy in the mirror. His hair was a mess, sure it looked good, it always did but not because he put any effort into it. His lips were smiling but his eyes never were good at lying. You had always loved his eyes, the way they sparkled in the morning sun or the way they lit up when you told him one of your unfunny dad jokes that always made him laugh. He always sounded so beautiful when he was laughing, a sound you haven't heard in a very long time but missed terribly. He was in pain, clearly and it hurt you but it wasn’t that that was your fault. At least not completely.
“Listen…” He started, not sure if he should continue or just turn around and leave. “I… I’m sorry that you’re sad. Don’t like seeing you like this.”
“Don’t like seeing me like this?” You laughed. “That’s funny.” You turned around, now facing him directly. “Now be honest Cam-”
“Stop calling me that.”
“But that’s your fucking name now isn’t it?” You paused, walking one step closer to him. “Now be honest, why are you here, Cameron?”
“Like I already said (Y/L/N), because I wanted to see if you were okay.” He pressed, his face now only inches away from yours.
“Hmm. You see, I was okay I was having the time of my life until you and your blonde accessory of the week waltzed in.”
“Ohhh, my accessory of the week hm? Says the one who’s fucking my best friend.” His eyes were dark and his voice turned low. It was obvious how angry he was, something that had never stopped you from topping it off once more.
“That’s right Rafe Cameron, I’m fucking your best friend.” You paused, knowing if you’d go down that road, there would be no going back. “And guess what, he’s better at-” You wanted to continue but got cut off by Rafe's hand around your throat.
“Better at what sweetheart hm?” He whispered. “Tell me, darling.”
“There it is.” You grinned wickedly. “There’s the Rafe Cameron I know and hate.”
That hit him. It was obvious, his grip tightened around your throat and his eyes flickered. He knew you were mad at him but knowing you actually hated him, hit him harder than he thought it would. He wanted to say something, he wanted to spit out a response so dark even the devil would flinch but he couldn’t.
Your body tensed at the loss of oxygen flowing through your throat and you felt your heart fasten but you didn’t flinch. You met his dark gaze and countered with an even darker one. It was like when you were still together, you would challenge and provoke each other until one of you snapped. It had always been like this and it never changed even after you broke up.
He opened his mouth, about to say something when he stopped and let go of your throat. You gasped for air, your hand automatically wandering to your throat. He had done this shit before but never as strong and tight as he did now. His gaze wandered down to the hand on your throat and something in his eyes changed as if he was sorry. He held his hands up and took a few steps back until his back met the wall behind him.
“You know I… I…” He tried but clearly struggled with finding the right words. “I… I’m…” He looked at you, hoping for you to say something but you stayed silent. “You know what, forget it.” He pulled out before ripping the bathroom door open and making his way outside.
Split seconds later and his lips crashed onto yours. You didn’t quite remember how this happened, how your arm reached after him, how you pulled him towards you, or how he smashed the door back shut behind him, all you knew was how much you needed him, how much you missed him.
His hands wandered around your waist as he pulled you closer to him. You had only been making out for a few seconds but you could feel his hardened erection on your body, which turned you on even more. Your hands wandered through his hair, something that you had always loved to do when you were making out.
“Let me show you who the better lover is, sweetheart.” He whispered into your ear. “Bet Topper can’t make you scream the way I’m about to do.” His mouth wandered down your neck, gently kissing and sucking on your soft skin while his hand pushed down your left strap. Your dress was tight but it wasn’t enough to make it fall down your body but it was enough to make your left tit fall out.
He smirked at the sight of your exposed nipple before leaning down and gently sucking on it. He got more passionate with each second, causing you to grow impatient. You placed your finger under his chin and pulled his face back up to yours.
“I need you, to fuck me, Rafe Cameron. Now.” You whispered.
“Mhhh so needy for someone who hates me so bad.” He hummed with a grin on his face. “What would your boyfriend say if he saw his girl like this, all wet for me already, hm? Bet he can’t make you wet like this that fast.”
You rolled your eyes and hopped on the sink behind you, spreading your legs wide apart leaving him no choice but to look down at your exposed thong that was barely enough fabric to cover your folds. You gently let your hand wander through his hair before pulling him towards you. “I. Said. Fuck. Me. Rafe Cameron.” You smirked and continued: “Before I go out there and tell everyone that Topper's dick is bigger than yours.”
His eyes widened in surprise. “Is it?”
“Oh god.” You groaned before pushing his head down to your crotch.
He chuckled before placing his teeth on your thong, ripping it from your body with one quick pull. You moaned at the sight of it and let your head fall back onto the mirror. He got down on his knees and started tongue fucking your pussy like there was no tomorrow. He had always had his special ways, techniques only Rafe Cameron knew how to use but this boy never failed to surprise you. You tried to keep quiet, afraid someone would hear you but he made it very hard when he added his thumb to the party. Soon, he started rubbing soft circles around your clit, something that had always been your weakness.
“Rafe…” You moaned out. “I’m close.”
He didn’t answer but you could feel him smirk against your soaking wet pussy. He sped up his pace, even adding another finger knowing how much you’d always loved it. You tried to hold on to the sink you were sitting on, nearly breaking off a nail as you press your fingertips against the cold ceramic. He could feel your walls tighten around his finger and shortly after, you were cumming all over him. He removed his finger and sucked off your juice, something he’d always loved to do.
You were still holding on to the sink, trying to prepare for what was about to come next. From experience you knew, there was no way in hell he’d let you go without having fucked you at least once, and regarding the boner that was pressing against your stomach, he wouldn't make an exception now.
He smashed his lips onto yours, not leaving any room for you to breathe. Your hands wandered down and unbuckled his belt, quickly exposing his hardened erection. You were about to push him inside you when pulled away.
“Uh, Uh, turn around for me baby, let me see that pretty ass of yours while I fuck you.”
He didn’t need to tell you twice, you quickly hopped off the counter and turned around making him able to slide right into you, causing you both to moan out at the sudden contact.
“Fuck (Y/N) you’re still so tight.”
“What, did you think Topper’s dick is so big it would’ve stretched me out?”
You could see his eye roll through the mirror, causing you to chuckle silently. “Glad to see you still have that pretty big mouth. Let’s see what we can do about that, huh?” He whispered into your ear as he leaned forward, his eyes never leaving yours. He reached into his pocket and pulled the ripped piece of fabric before shoving it into your mouth. “Now, we don’t want anyone to find out what a dirty little slut you are now do we?” You nodded quickly, hoping it would get him to finally start fucking you.
Your hopes were heard and soon you were met with his hips thrusting into your ass, making clap sounds every time your skin touched. His hands held onto your hips as his thrusts got faster and faster with every move. He pulled your hips closer to him, changing the ankle which made him reach the spot that made you lose all your senses. You wanted to scream out his name but instead, felt tears forming in your eyes caused by your inability to do so.
This of cource didn’t go unnoticed by him, causing him to grin and only sped up his pace, fucking you even harder than before. His eyes wandered from your face down to your ass where he watched it wiggle because of his movements. He loved the sight in front of him, you being all messed up because of him, salty tears rolling down your face, colored black mixed with your eyeliner, and your ass presented in front of him, begging him to get slapped. In fact, it was his favorite sight. He tried not to think about it too much but he tried to burn that image deep inside his mind, scared he wouldn’t be able to see it again that fast, if ever.
He wished he could’ve gone like this forever but there was still the risk of getting caught and even though he didn’t care, he knew you would, and believe it or not but upsetting you was the last thing he wanted. So he softly let his hands slide over your body, down to your clit where he placed his finger for support. You let your head fall back onto his shoulder, as he still leaned over you. He loved the way your skin felt on his, a feeling he had never felt with anyone else. He loved the way your hair smelled when you let yourself fall back, even though he hated having hair on his face.
You weren’t able to moan his name out loud but by the way, your nails dug into his thigh, he knew you were close and so was he. He sped up once again, causing you to reach your high almost synchronized with him. You could feel his cum shooting through your body as you tried to recover from your own orgasm.
Even though you were able to free yourself from your own panties by now, you still had trouble catching your breath which didn’t go unnoticed by the boy, still inside of you.
“Hey, are you okay?” He asked softly.
You nodded and gave him a happy smile through the mirror, causing him to smile himself. Oh, much he missed that smile. How much he missed you in general. But he knew you didn’t work out, you tried several times and it always ended in tears.
He slowly pulled out and quickly grabbed the piece of paper that you were handing him before you got yourself your own. The both of you cleaned yourself up and got back dressed. He wanted to say something, how much he enjoyed being close to you like this again but the words didn’t come out.
You watched him silently as he struggled to close his belt because it was stuck once again. You silently laughed at the sight in front of you, the boy that just fucked you mercilessly against the sink in the bathroom of your favorite club struggling with a task as simple as closing his belt. It reminded you of a side of Rafe, that he barely showed anyone these days. The side where he allowed himself to struggle, where he allowed himself to be human and not that perfect business robot, Ward Cameron tried to force him to be.
I'm a demon in the night
She's an angel with the white
Told me keep on all the lights
I'ma show you what you like
Help you put back on your clothes
Make sure nothing's on your nose
Ain't even tell my closest homies, nobody knows
“Here let me help you.” You said as you stepped forward and took the matter into your own hands. “I thought you’d thrown this thing out by now, it has been causing problems since the day I bought it for you.”
“It’s still working.” He answered, but there was a shift in his voice. He sounded harsher than before as if someone got into his mind and reminded him how he was supposed to act.
“Whatever you say then.” You mourned as you slid the belt into the buckle.
You got back up, ready to leave when he pulled you back. “You shouldn’t go out like that, here let me fix you.” He grabbed a piece of paper and poured some water on it, before softly removing black makeup stains from your face. He was very careful, not wanting to hurt you. “I think that’s it but maybe you should… like redo that or something… I don’t know. You always used to do that.”
“Right.” You grabbed into your bag and pulled out a thin, black eyeliner. “Do you want to do it? You used to like doing it.”
“Sure.” He chuckled. He wasn’t particularly good at drawing your eyeliner but you didn’t care. It always felt special when Rafe did your makeup, no matter if it looked perfect or not. You never let anyone do your makeup but there was something about the expression he made once he finished that you just couldn’t resist.
“You know… we could try to stay friends, at least.” You proposed carefully. “If you want to.”
“I don’t want to be your friend, (Y/N). When will you get that into your thick skull that this will never happen?” He spat out as he handed you back your eyeliner. “Like we could never be friends. Like… like what would we even do… as… as friends? Like, what would that friendship be good for?”
“Geez, as you wish Cameron, but know that this… whatever this was… will never happen again.” You paused, trying to fight back your incoming tears. “Like ever.”
“Fine by me.” He mumbled under his breath, but still loud enough for you to hear.
“Good, it’s settled then. I go back to Topper and you can go back to snorting coke off some whores ass.” You spat as you grabbed your bag and stormed out of the door.
He saw you walking through the crowd and stumbling back into the arms of your boyfriend.
Rafe knew he fucked up, but it was for the better. He knew how the both of you could get when you didn’t share the same opinion on something. He knew what power his words held over you if he lost control and said things he never wanted to say. He had seen you before, broken down on his kitchen floor between shattered bottles of glass after the both of you lost it. It was painful, seeing you walk back to Topper, the boy he used to call his best friend. He knew he’d go back to snorting coke, he could already feel the lack of substances in his blood and deep down, he knew Topper was the better man. He knew he wouldn’t hurt you the way he did, he never could and he was right. Topper could never hurt you the way Rafe did but that wasn’t because he was the better man, it was because Rafe had something that Topper never would. You loved him.
I hate that I saw you again last night
You were with somebody and so was I
Met you in the bathroom at 12:05
And I fucked you again
We can never be friends

“oh my god y/n!,there’s a test coming up and i need some help, can you come over to my place and help me ?”
“of course why wouldn’t i? even if it wasn’t a question id still go”
we both smiled at eachother as the bell rang for lunch
“come on y/n - ah!”
she ran and brought me to the lunchroom
we sat down with some of our friends
“hi yunjin!! and hello to you too y/n,god you two are inseparable “
we all laughed a bit

“ugh i would love to but i cant , the test it soon and i haven’t studied , y/n-ah is gonna help me though!”
“of course, you always forget to study,by the way it’s tomorrow “
the bell rang indicating the end of lunch,we all separated, jen giving me a huge hug behind my back surprising me
end of day
me and yunjin walked to my home with our hands intertwined
we went to my room and sat on my bed , jen got her books out to get ready for the math test
“so what don’t you understand about the material?”
“literally everything”
i giggled softly and took a pencil and started to explain to her the material
i snuck looks at jen while explaining to her what we were learning,i don’t know why , but she looked so pretty, something about her just made me want to stare at her forever, her lips looked so soft too
“hey y/n you okay?”
i seemed to had drifted off into my own thoughts
“y-yeah sorry,got distracted “
she smiled softly
“why don’t we take a break if needed?”
she took my hand and put down the pencil she started to put away her books and papers
“we can just lay down and watch some tv for now,how about that hm?”
“yeah that sounds good”
we lie down cuddling up together, her hand around my waist,i put the tv on , my mind started to wander , jen looked so pretty with and without her glasses, she always looked so gorgeous, why am i thinking about her like this now,her arm around my waist makes me feel butterflies in my stomach,i’ve never felt this before ,we’re always like this
why am i just feeling this?
i look over to yunjin and see her sleeping face , she looked so gorgeous,so peaceful,i smiled and took her glasses off and placed them on the side table , and turned the lights off
“night jen,sleep well”
i cuddled up closer to yunjin smiling brushing a piece of her hair out of her face , god she was so pretty
i soon drifted off to sleep
next day
yunjin had borrowed some of my clothes and we had headed off to school
i was talking to minji about how i thought i had a crush on yunjin
“i knew it! i knew you liked her!”
“but i can’t like her,she’s straight,and she won’t like me back.”
“y/n..have you seen how she acts around you? she’s only that touchy around you..”
“yeah but she’s just friendly she’s said she’s straight before..”
“girl she’s clearly into you..”
“she’s straight..i’m just.. this is too hard..”
“i understand..im sorry y/n , hey chaewon is having a party tonight if you wanna take your mind off it”
“i’m not much of a party person..”
“come on it’ll be fun..”
“i guess..”
yunjin than came up and hugged me from behind making me smile
“how’s my favorite person everrrr?”
“heyy jen!,im doing good!”
“your clothes are sooo comfy,we should have sleepovers more often!”
“jen you can’t just take my clothes!”
“i can and i just did!”
i sighed smiling as she poked my cheek playfully making me giggle
minji coughed interrupting us
“anyways .. i’ll see you two later !”
“bye bye!!”
we both said at the same time
end of the day
i was getting ready for the party with minji at my house
“should i wear this?”
Tumblr media
“or this?”
Tumblr media
“hmmm first one,suites you better!”
“thanks minji”
“come on tell me what’s on your mind i can tell something is up”
“it’s just..yunjin yknow?”
“gotta take your mind off things, now let’s go have some fun”
“thanks minji..let’s go”
at the party
me and minji ring the doorbell as i brush down my outfit making sure i look okay
chaewon opens up the door greeting us both excitedly
“oh my gosh! y/n you showed up!”
“yeah i usually skip these things but couldn’t skip my friends party!”
i smiled softly at her as we entered her huge house
i went over to the drinks to get my mind off things
some time had past and i had felt a bit drunk
than i felt a pair of hands wrap around my waist , and a head go into the crook of my neck
“how’s my darling!~”
she sounded a bit out of it,but i could care less right now,the nickname had given me butterflies in my stomach
“hey jen,missed you”
“god you look stunning in that outfit~”
“same to you”
we both smiled ,chaewon than came up to us
“hey lovebirds! we’re gonna play truth or dare over in the circle here! come join!”
me and yunjin sat down in the circle next to eachother
chaewon started to explain the rules
“ok so same rules except if you don’t wanna do a dare or answer a truth you have to take a shot !”
everyone seemed to agree to the rules
“i’ll go first , truth or dare minji?”
“hm dare!”
“are you a virgin?”
minji looked away and blushed at the question
“uhm no..”
everyone let out some ooohs
“who was it?”
“that wasn’t the question , so y/n,truth or dare !”
“hmm..dare?”
minji thought about it for a bit
“i dare you to tell someone here who you like!”
“okay i guess”
i went over to minji and told her
“oh come on no fair i already knew!”
a few rounds passed and some people had taken shots , i had taken quite a few , people kept asking me the same questions but i kept drinking
“y/n,truth or dare?”
yunjin spoke up and i thought about it
“uhm i guess dare”
“i dare you to whisper to me who you like”
i went to take a shot and yunjin seemed upset by this
“im sorry jen..i cant”
“but minji gets to know? you’re closer with me than her!”
“jen i just can’t im sorry,if i could i would..”
yunjin started to tear up and walked out the room and went out to the balcony
everyone had seemed to got the hint expect for her
“i think you should tell her ..”
“i can’t you know why..”
“y/n it’s so obvious she likes you back..”
she came back after a bit seemingly to feel better and we continued the game
i was asked the same question again by chaewon
“i dare you to kiss your crush”
they kept trying to get me to kiss yunjin or tell her i liked her,but instead i took a shot,i was really out of it at that point
“o-okay,uhm jen,truth or dare?”
“dare! i wanna do dare!”
“i d-dare you to makeout with your crush whenever you see them!”
i said the last part due to there being no men around at the moment, the men were on the dance floor with other girls and other guys
but instead jen just crawled over to me when i wa talking to minji , and turned my face to hers and kissed me ,my eyes widened , i didn’t hesitate to kiss her back
we made out for a good 3 minutes, when she pulled away the only thing keeping us together was a string of saliva
“i thought you-“
“i only said that because i was afraid of what other people would think..im sorry if you don’t like me back”
i pulled her in for another kiss wrapping my hands around her neck, when we pulled away i just smiled
“hope that answers your question”
everyone cheered and smiled
“it’s about fucking time”
minji spoke and everyone laughed

hi!
So I was thinking that their little sister is lesbian (if you're comfortable with this kind of stuff though) but she doesn't know. So she's 15 and one day a guy tries to flirt with her in a dinner, but she's just staring in complete fascination at a cute girl behind her. And after the guy goes away Dean calls her out. After she kind of goes on a date with the girl and some homophobic dude comes walking past whilst they're kissing and says some pretty mean stuff. And when her brothers find out they comfort her.
Thank you so much and I wish you a very good day and happy new year!
Unconditional
Tumblr media
Note: I literally love this request as a gay girly myself. This was super cute to write!
Warnings: Homophobia but Sam and Dean to the rescue, homophobic slurs and swearing. Please read with warning that this is fairly heavy and may be triggering although I have tried to keep it non-explicit...but it's also a little cheesy too..

⛤ SUPERNATURAL MASTERLIST ⛤
You knew that the guy beside you was trying to talk to you. His low voice but through the chatter as he leaned on the coffee-stained counter beside you, just a tad too close for your liking. He had sauntered over and was trying to drop compliments, but you didn’t really hear anything he was saying. You were completely fixated on the girl sitting in a booth across the room. She was with her two friends but you couldn’t take your eyes off of her and the way she smiled with not only her rosy lips but also with her eyes. You admired the lilt of her voice as she spoke with a grin and the way her hair, which was tucked neatly behind her ears to show off her face, cascaded over her shoulders. She was beautiful and you were in awe. Then, her gaze shifted away from you and her eyes met yours. Before you could turn away quickly, she blushed and gave you a small smile to hold your gaze.
“So, what do you say?” The boy asked you expectantly, though you were still too entranced to take a notice.
Dean cleared his throat and nudged you from under the table with his knee. “Y/N?”
You tore your gaze away from the girl and snapped towards your brother who indicated to the boy with his head.
“Sorry- What?”
“I said, ‘Did you maybe want to go out sometime?’”
You felt awful, because you had every intention of answering the guy to send him away, but you found your attention shifting towards the girl across the diner again.
“Sorry, pal.” Sam told the guy, “I don’t think she’s very interested.”
The boy nodded and left, slightly deflated that his attempts had failed.
“What the hell was all that about, kid?” Sam furrowed his brow. “What’s got you so distracted?”
Dean, who was sitting opposite you, craned his head to follow your eyeline, where he spotted the girl you had been fascinated by. He turned to you with a shit-eating grin on his face.
“I think I’ve got her all figured out, Sammy.” He pointed to the girl. “She is so checking that girl out.”
“What?! Am not.”
“Are too. I know that look when I see it.”
You huffed and sunk down in your chair.
It was then that her and her friends shuffled out of the booth and made their way towards the door. As they passed you and your brothers she smiled at you shyly. You watched as she pushed open the door and the bell chimed signalling that she had left, but you continued to watch her in awe through the window.
“Are you just gonna sit there and stare?” Sammy raised an eyebrow.
“Huh?”
“Go get her number.” Dean urged, ushering you out of the booth. Your cheeks flushed as you chased quickly after her.
The sunlight hit your face as soon as you stepped out of the diner and you made your way slowly over to her. She smiled brightly as she saw you approaching and excused herself away from her friends for a moment.
“Hi” She greeted, “I was wondering if you were going to come and speak to me.”
“Hey.” You smiled “I’m Y/N.”
“Nice to finally put a name to your pretty face.” She said before giving you her name.
“So um…” You swallowed thickly trying to conjure up the courage to ask her for her number. This was something you had never done before… sure, you had never really shown much interest in guys, and you knew that every time you glanced at one of the women on the front of one of your brothers magazines, or spotted a pretty girl walking down the street you couldn’t help but feel that something was different, but you were never able to place it until now. You had thought it was because you never had time to spend hanging out with people outside of hunting, but now that Dean had pointed it out, you knew that he was onto something. You couldn’t help the butterflies in your stomach that you felt when you looked at the girl before you, and back in the diner you had been so desperate to talk to her that you found your thoughts drifting to what it would be like, however now it was actually happening it was like your mind was betraying you because you couldn’t think of anything to say as your body froze. You took a deep breath and cleared your mind. “I was wondering if you wanted to go out sometime?”
She looked at you with a look of pure happiness that made you melt. “I would love to.”
~
The two of you sat inside the diner again a few days later. The two of you had been texting back and forth constantly after exchanging numbers and you couldn’t contain your excitement. You had taken her to the cinema across town before you two made you way to the diner. She looked even more beautiful than the time you had first seen her as she sat across from you, sipping her milkshake which you had purchased for her with Dean’s plagiarised credit card. The two of you spent hours talking to each other and laughing at the other's jokes and you barely noticed the sun setting and the busy diner thinning out, she had even reached out to grab your hand from across the table which she kept there until her it was eventually time to leave.
You walked her back to her house, slightly disheartened when you finally reached it and the pair of you paused just in front of it.
Reaching out, she tucked a loose piece of your hair behind your ear. The closeness made your stomach flutter and you blushed. Suddenly her rosy lips were on yours. You leaned into the kiss, kissing her back with the same keen gentleness that she had initiated it with. When she finally pulled away, the kiss leaving you breathless, the two of you let out a small chuckle only to have the moment ruined by a passer by who glared at the two of you in disgust before rolling his eyes.
“Great, just what this town needs. More dykes.” His words cut deep and your heart sank as they crushed everything you had been working to accept was okay about yourself. The longer you looked at him, the more you recognised him. It was the boy from the diner. The one that had tried to ask you out but you ignored. It seemed he also seemed to recognise you too.
“You’re the girl from the diner.” He started shaking his head. “No wonder you weren’t interested you fucking freak.”
“Excuse you?” your date asked, clenching her fists and taking a step forward.
“I said you’re disgusting.” He spat. “That shouldn’t even be allowed.”
“Listen here-” She took another step forward, but you put out a hand to stop her. The last thing the two of you needed now was for this to become a fight.
“Don’t. Just leave it.”
She stepped back and with one last huff the boy left with his head held high.
“I’m sorry-”
“It’s not your fault.” She said as you looked at your shoes.
“I know… but I can’t help but feel responsible.”
“Well you shouldn’t.” She told you, cupping your face and cutting off any more of your protesting with another kiss to your lips before turning up the steps to her house. “Goodnight, Y/N.”
~
Sam and Dean were still awake when you shuffled in through the door, trying to poorly plaster a smile on your face. Of course they were, they wouldn’t sleep until they knew you were safely in bed at the motel. Sam was typing away on his laptop at the table while Dean had sprawled himself out on the bed with a box of pizza and was watching shitty tv.
“There she is!” Dean said when he saw you in the doorway. “How was it?”
You shrugged, trying to keep up a happy facade. “It was good.”
“What’s the matter, kiddo?” Sam frowned as he shut his laptop and crossed the room to sit on the bed.
“Nothing.”
“Y/N.”
“I told you. It’s nothing.”
“What’s the matter, sweetheart? Did things not work out between the two of you?” Dean asked.
“No. No. It’s not that.”
“Then what?” your eldest brother pressed.
“Someone said something.” You admitted, eyes finally brimming with tears that you had tried so desperately hard to keep from escaping. The boys words had made you feel so... wrong. “The boy from the diner. Called us names. Said we were ‘freaks’”
“He what?” Dean clenched his fists, but Sam shut him down with one look as you began to cry.
“Oh kid” Sam said, pulling you close to his chest. “You’re not a freak. Don’t listen to him.”
“But I am, Sammy.”
“No.” Dean shut you down quickly. “Don’t say that Y/N. You are perfect just the way you are.”
Sam agreed. “Exactly. Who cares what that guy thinks, Y/N?”
“Me?” you sniffled “I don’t want people to treat me differently-”
“We’re not gonna treat you differently. You think we’d really do that, Kid? We’re your brothers.” Sam asked gently.
“Exactly. You don’t see us treating Charlie any differently, do you?”
“No.” you moved your head away from Sam’s shirt which was now covered in your tears to see Dean moving closer to you.
“We love you unconditionally, sweetheart.” He said and he wrapped you up in his arms, placing his chin atop your head. “Nothing you could tell us is ever going to change that. Nothing.”

Warnings: fem body, creampie, feeeelings (@cwgyuutaro), mid 20s Soul, canonverse, weapon!reader
Event: 2023 Summer Anthology
Notes: @medusashima if i remember correctly it was you who requested Soul so here's a little courtesy tag and a thank you for participating and choosing such a juicy line for him <3
Tumblr media Tumblr media
“This really isn’t subtle, you know,” you mewl, putting your teeth in his shoulder to try and muffle your own sounds, arms tight around his shoulders, clinging to him as he pants into your neck. His hands are hot as he moves you on his dick, your legs secured around his waist,
"Maybe you shouldn't be so loud then." He chuckles at the little oof you give out as he lets your back fall to the sleeping bag, settling firmly over you.
“Then maybe you should hurry up!”
Soul ignores your pointed whine, giving you a small glare as you try to let your legs fall; he readjusts the grip of your legs around his waist so he can lean in closer, pressing your tacky foreheads together. “Nah, I don’t think I’m gonna.”
“Soul,” you whisper, the only voice to your plea as you submit to his tongue as he pries your lips open with his tongue. His fingers tighten on your ass and you feel yourself squeeze tight around him. Soul groans down your throat, the muscles in his thighs jumping as he fights to keep control of his current pace.
Neither of you are strangers to quick, casual hookups; back home that’s the norm. It’s this that’s rare—usually reserved for late night’s with too much beer, or a distraction from a frustrating day—this version of Soul. Right now he’s slow, torturous, intent. Undeterred by the embarrassing sounds of your pelvises slapping together, when they are slapping together. Sometimes he’s just seated in your hot cunt, accompanied by little grinds as he puts more focus into running his hands over your body, steady, firm, like he’s mapping new territory. Like he’s not had access to every inch of your body for the last several months.
A pitched keen pulls from your throat, blocked by his tongue and dissolving into whimpers as he worships your body. He shushes you softly, pressing his lips to yours gently, across your swollen bottom lip, then the corners, continuing the comforting sound as his lips track down the column of your throat.
“If you’re really so worried about someone hearing, then tone it down,” Soul noses at your jaw, sucking a dark mark there, feeling his pulse kick at the little whine you let out even as you let him do it, “Make it soft. Make it just for me, ‘mkay?”
You tremble at his touch and nod, the warm pads of his fingers as he traces over the mark he just left behind, eyes burning with things the two of you have never spoken about. Things you think you’re beginning to understand, even if a little. Things that frighten you.
“Good.”
You clasp a hand over your mouth as he raises himself up a little and begins to move in the way that you’ve been begging him to since the moment you fell into his tent at the end of the night. Everyone else is a mere couple meters away, with nothing but a few layers of nylon between you. Your words a little more than breaths slipping between your fingers. “Mn- yes, please like that.”
“Haah,” Soul groans against your cheek, gritting his teeth at the starry bliss in your eyes, framed by tear laden lashes. The way you look right now, carefully taken a part—it’s exactly what he wanted but he’s still not had enough of you. He’s starting to think he never will. His cock is throbbing, wrapped snug in your wet heat, and the coiling ball in his gut is winded so tight that it wouldn’t take much to send him reeling to oblivion.
All his restraint vanishes when your nails dig into his back, chanting his name under your breath. “Soul please, please. Can’t take anymore. Need it, need you to—”
“Oh fuck, babe,” Soul groans, a shudder wracking through his body as you gasp. “Fuck, I’m s’close. You’re s’good, you feel s’good. Perfect for me, babe.”
Your heart flutters at little scrunch of his nose, how his words start to blur together as his own urgency rips down every wall that he uses to put himself together, and he’s left bared in front of you. It never fails to exhilirate you.
“I need you to come,” he rasps, a exertion making his voice weak, pretty even. He pets over your clit so sweetly, insistently, steady and even and so, so perfect that you forget everything. There’s just you and him and this heaven shattering feeling rushing through your veins and tipping you into the realm of no return. “I need it, need you t’come for me. Please, please, babe ‘s okay now, let go.” His voice breaks as you start to gush over his cock, slick sounds getting obscene, but it’s lost to the sound of Soul’s voice as he comes apart for you. “For me, babe, need you to– that’s it– awhh fuck yes– Y-yes, yes, yes, yes—”
He shudders against your chest, still humping into you in broken, jerky motions as he unloads hot, sticky white into your twitching cunt. You’re too overcome with your own orgasm and his sweet little groans to truly register that he’s never done that before. You’re so full of him, of his cum, of his half hardness, still valiantly twitching inside you like he never wants to leave.
You trace sticky lines up and down the valley of his shoulder blades for a few moments, the both of you sheltering in this quiet bliss before you have to return to reality.
“I should really go,” you whisper to him softly after a few minutes of increasingly uneasy silence. “We’ve lost enough sleep. Our meisters will be depending on us tomorrow.
“Yeah, alright.” He sighs and lets himself slip out of you, intensely watching the way his seed spills out of you the moment he stops blocking it’s path. “Let me clean you up first.”
You let your head rest back with a small sound of content as he digs in his pack for something to wipe you down with, and roll over when he’s finished, fishing for your discarded clothing.
Soul tugs his pants on, and sits watching you, his forearms resting over his bent knees. “You know I should be apart of the frontal assault team.”
“Lord Death wanted you and Maka to lead the rear reinforcements, he wants the finish to be decisive. There’s no one better for such a task.”
“Yeah, I heard it all in the briefing,” Soul scoffs, wiping his hands on his thighs and standing up and helping you out of his tent.
His malcontent is like a quiet storm, brewing in the distance, never to truly breach the horizon. He doesn’t fight losing battles, and he knows that the chance to change this has long since passed.
“You’ll catch up with us soon,” you assure him with a fragile smile, lacing your fingers with his gently.
“You bet your ass we will,” Soul responds quietly, carmine eyes studying your face like he’ll find something new. Only the tiniest squeeze of his fingers around yours betrays that unshakable facade of his, alerts you that he’s thinking the same thing as you. The words “take care” itch across your tongue, but neither of you dare tell the other. Both of you have known from the beginning, wrapped tight in the mutual understanding that if anything were to go wrong today, you would both do your duty as weapons.
You sigh and let him go, adjusting your haori and then your hair, preparing to slink back to your tent.
“Oi.”
You turn back to him. His voice is back to that indolent drawl, the one that used to have you at each other’s throats back in the day. He’s got his thumb under his headband, adjusting silvery strands in silence until he turns his eyes on you.
“When we get back…I’m done hidin’. I’m don’t want to be that kind of guy anymore.”
“O-oh,” you breathe, startled, a fluttery feeling rising in your chest, battling your fear for the coming battle. “Okay.”
Soul gives you a sharp half-smile, echoing himself. “When, you hear me?”
After a moment you realize what he’s saying and after another second of though you nod, unsure but unable to deny him this little tangle of hope.
“When.”

If you are taking requests could I possibly for a fic where the reader and Eddie are teaching Penny to talk but the only words she manages to learn are the bad word the two of you say. Hope you have a great day. PS love your writing
You are such a sweetheart, I’m glad you like what I have to offer! This was such a cute request, I wanted to keep it mostly comedic but my fingers wanted substance. I hope you like it and I hope you have a great night ♡

𝐓𝐡𝐚𝐭’𝐬 𝐌𝐲 𝐆𝐢𝐫𝐥
(Dad!Eddie Munson x Mom!Reader and their daughter, Penny)
warnings: so much fluff and love! a/n: more Eddie, Penny and you (plus baby Wayne) here :)
Tumblr media
Eddie sometimes wonders whether or not the pint sized version of you, with his eyes, was his karma.
He’d never thought much about being a dad, not until he knocked you up, anyways. He never really thought about what it took to raise an instinct driven newborn to a functioning human being, just figured he’d do his best to make sure he could do right by her. Eddie had expected parenting to come with challenges—especially given how young the two of you were—but it hadn’t been daunting, not when he had you as his partner. With you, he could handle any kid.
What he failed to keep in mind was that this kid was his kid; not even two years old and she already had a personality of her own, one that Eddie knew was gonna give him heart palpitations.
You found it endearing most of the time. While Penny was a very good and easy baby, she was also a little on the eccentric side. Always getting into things she shouldn’t be getting into, always trying to waddle off (a comical sight, she’d just become comfortable with sumo walking without you or Eddie guiding her but she was still incredibly clumsy so she fell onto her diaper covered butt more often than not) and whenever she was caught, she’d flash a much gummier version of Eddie’s grin, the few tiny teeth—she’d been miserable about when they were coming in—on display for the world to see.
What you didn’t find endearing was what she’d been shrieking happily while taking a bath.
You’d had Penny in her little tub, massaging baby shampoo into her curly scalp as her chunky little arms beat down on the soapy water. Eddie had been perched behind you, making silly faces at her to distract her from having her hair washed (she’d just recently started to dislike it) when she said it.
“Fuck!” She laughed out, nose doing the most adorable crinkle.
You stopped, fingers still tangled in her hair as your mind tried to process what had just come out of her mouth. Eddie tensed behind you, more so out of shock.
While you definitely weren’t used to your baby’s sailor mouth since she was still getting comfortable with words rather than just babbling nonsense—you’d, unfortunately, heard worse. She’d been gnawing on her teething ring while you pushed the shopping cart through the grocery store when you heard her mumble ‘puthy’. You tried to write it off as just baby talk even though you knew she’d heard what Eddie had told you as he left the trailer that morning, it had been very dirty and you were thankful that she didn’t understand the implications but you were gonna have to talk to Eddie about actually watching what the two of you would say now that you were aware she was actively listening.
She’d said it again, this time directed at the cashier ringing you up and while you knew she didn’t have a single clue about what the word she was trying to say meant, it was clear he had because he’d laughed his ass off and you hurried out of there, rushing to your car with Penny in one arm, the grocery bag in the other and your dignity trailing somewhere behind you.
Eddie had found the story amusing but Penny hadn’t said it since, refusing to repeat it for daddy when you had asked her to because she simply didn’t care about the word anymore, not when her daddy was right there and could be blowing raspberries into her tummy instead.
So, this was the first time Eddie had heard your 16 month old’s potty mouth.
Penny’s smile widened when she realized she’d stunned both of you, it was obvious to everyone she loved having mommy and daddy’s attention. So she just had to keep it.
“Fuck! Fuck! Fuck!” Her cute little voice repeated, giggling as she splashed each time she said it.
“Oh, god.” You quickly rinsed her hair and pulled her out of the tub, handing her to Eddie who’d been waiting with the towel. His teeth were digging into his bottom lip but it did absolutely nothing to hide his smile.
“Eddie! Don’t laugh, she’s just gonna keep doing it to impress you.” You scolded, frowning as you watched him wrap her up. “Jesus, she can only say like six actual words and two of them are curse words, I’m blaming this on you.”
“Nuh-uh, she got this one from you, sweetheart. Someone heard mama when she stubbed her toe in the kitchen this morning, huh?” He cooed before pretending to bite Penny’s cheek as she shrieked in delight.
You both moved to the bedroom, Eddie handed Penny over to you once you’d gotten settled on the bed so he could pick out her pajamas.
She was just as enamored with you, pushing herself up onto her legs as she got a grip on your shoulder, effectively shedding the towel she’d been wrapped in in favor of hanging onto you, completely nakey.
Eddie threw a diaper at you, beaning your arm.
“Can’t believe she learned how to say that before ‘dada’,” You commented, sweeping Penny’s legs out from underneath her dramatically to push her to the mattress, wrestler style. For some reason, your baby liked to be thrown around and the two of you indulged her. She shrieked with laughter again as her back met the blankets, but before you continued your gentle rough housing, you quickly put the diaper on and got her all moisturized.
“I can. She is a Munson and it's a very Munson thing to do,” Eddie returned  and you let him slip her onesie on. Once Penny was dressed, she used her arms and feet to push herself up into a standing position, completely unstable on the soft footing of the mattress. She promptly fell back onto her butt and was exhausted enough to stay there, smiling up at the two of you.
You knew it bothered Eddie that she refused to say ‘dada’. Not counting her vulgar vocabulary, Penny could say ‘mama’, ‘hi’, ‘buh-bye’, ‘no’, ‘mom’ (only ever whined out whenever you tried to put her to bed), ‘wan’ (want), ‘uh-huh’, ‘pen’ (herself) and ‘g’pa’ (grandpa, she was referring to Wayne). She could refer to you twice, but for some reason, she just wouldn’t say ‘dada’ or ‘papa’, no matter how hard he tried to get her to repeat it.
You’d been practicing with her, though. You hadn’t had any sort of breakthrough (she’d hear you say ‘papa’ and would ask ‘G’pa?’) but you knew very well Penny was aware Eddie was her dad.
You pulled her into your arms, standing her up on her chubby legs again as you pointed to Eddie, “Is that Daddy?”
Penny followed your finger, smile widening as she just made eye contact with Eddie, who offered her a soft smile when she nodded her head.
See? She knew, she just couldn’t say it.
The next couple of days, you’d taken to teaching Penny more words, hoping she’d forget the naughty ones.
Penny was sitting in front of you, her toys littered the ground as Eddie picked them up. She’d been ignoring them in favor of the baby book you were showing her.
“Look, apple.” You tapped the picture of the bright red apple on the page. “Ah-pull.”
“Ahbuh.”
“Okay, close, we’re getting there,” you said even though she didn’t understand the sentence, flipping to the next page. “Banana. Can you say banana?”
“Nana.”
“I’ll take it.” You flipped the page again. “Grape.”
She didn’t say anything, just stared at the picture looking unimpressed and you could tell you’d lose her attention if you stuck around the word.
“No grape, got’cha.”
Eddie laughed, placing her little toy box down as he joined you two on the floor, sitting right behind you. You leaned back into him and he pressed a kiss to the side of your forehead before you continued.
“Kiwi.”
“Fuck!”
You both groaned and you reached a hand up to rub at your eyelids while Eddie took over.
“No, baby. Kee-wee.”
“Fuck.” Penny said it again, this time with hesitance, looking unsure of herself. It was clear to Eddie she was beginning to realize what she was saying wasn’t  necessarily gaining the positive attention she wanted, given the reaction she received but she was still trying. It’s not like she knew it was bad, you’d told her as much since the first occurrence (more so just to tell her since she still couldn’t understand what ‘bad’ was) but his little baby was used to people fawning over her when she learned a new word, not being upset about it. You’d been at it for days, though and Eddie couldn’t blame you. He knew how bad you felt about having slipped up around her in the first place. You didn’t blame Penny. You blamed yourself.
“Kee-wee,” Eddie repeated, a finger stroking over the soft skin of her face. “You can say it, baby. Kee-wee.”
You relaxed fully into Eddie as you watched her, and your heart could barely take it. Your baby was staring at Eddie, the big brown eyes she shared with him narrowed as she stared at his mouth.
“Kee…”
“That’s it. You almost got it, baby. Kee-wee.”
“Kee..wee…”
Both you and Eddie cheered, high-fiving before Penny was swept up between you two for kisses and praises.
“That’s my girl!” Penny was absolutely beaming as Eddie pressed kiss after kiss into her cheek, squealing when you joined in.
The oven timer went off, as the smell of the pizza Eddie had shoved in it earlier wafted through the air.
He made sure you had a secure hold on Penny before he jumped up to turn it off. He’d only just reached the kitchen before he was turning to face you two again when Penny shrieked, and it wasn’t a joyous one.
You glanced down at her in confusion, frowning when you saw her big eyes welling up with tears and her lower lip jutting out with a wobble.
She muttered nothing coherent, gibberish as she struggled to talk. You didn’t see this side of her often, usually she was really good at conveying what she wanted without being able to actually verbalize it, but when she was struggling to get her point across, she got understandably frustrated.
“What is it, Penny?” You pulled her a little closer, titling your head down at her. She glanced from you to Eddie and back again, before she focused on her dad, face crumbling as the tears began to spill over her plump cheeks.
Penny tried again, as you wiped them away, but all that came out of her mouth was more gibberish and it clearly wasn’t what she wanted to express so she began crying, openly sobbing.
You pulled her to your chest for cuddles in an attempt to comfort her and for a fraction of a second it was enough, then she was pushing herself back, her tiny arms reaching towards Eddie as she wailed out, “DADA!”
Eddie abandoned the kitchen, rushing over to scoop her into his arms as you held her out to him.
“Shhh,” Eddie cradled her head to the crook of his neck as she hiccuped, calming down almost immediately as her dad held and gently rocked her from side to side. “It’s okay, baby. Daddy’s here. I got you. I’m not going anywhere.”
Despite the circumstances, your heart was ready to explode from the scene before you; Eddie was smiling and you could see his eyes were wet. He wasn’t happy about Penny’s meltdown, of course, but you could imagine the relief he must have felt over finally being acknowledged by Penny. And she’d seemed so upset with herself for not being able to call out for him, she must have been wanting to for a while now.
She’d been happy when both you and Eddie were praising her and when he broke that moment to turn off the oven, she hadn’t wanted him to go, didn’t want him to leave her.
Your mind flashed back to all of the other times she’d cry when Eddie had to leave. She did the same with you, but ever since she learned to call out for you, it hadn’t been that bad because you could come back to her immediately, or at least for a few more goodbye kisses. With Eddie, you either had to distract her so he could sneak away or she’d cry herself into her first nap of the day. It didn’t happen all the time, but when it did, it broke your heart.
Penny sniffled a couple more times before she fought against Eddie’s hold on her head, pulling back so she could rest both of her stubby hands on his cheeks as she stared up at him.
“Pen wan’ dada.”
Eddie choked and pressed a tender kiss to her head,  letting his lips rest there as he soaked it in. It was one thing for Penny to know he was her dad, it was a whole other thing for her to call him her dad.
“That’s my girl.”
Now you felt like you were gonna cry, happy tears of course. Then you remembered the pizza and shot up, bolting for the kitchen, “Shit!”
Penny’s momentary sadness was forgotten as her head quickly darted in your direction and Eddie smirked at the fascinated expression that quickly crossed her pretty features. He was positive she’d just learned another new word.
Yeah, that’s his girl. His girls.

hihihi idk if requests are open but please more fizzmodeus stuff I've read the other one like 10 times already please they're taking over my brain 😭😭😭🙏/nf
PINKY PROMISES (FIZZAROLLI/ASMODEUS)
[TW: mention of kidnapping and that jazz that happened in the episode… and also, this is a tickle fic, so if this made its way into the main tags somehow, then I suggest you don’t read it if you’re not into that stuff XD]
“You know I worry about you…”
"I know,” The demon said curtly “I know, but Oz- I’m tough! I’m fine, really! It’s just a few scrapes…”
Fizzarolli didn't bother to stop his embrace and instead just leaned on him, taking a moment to enjoy the contact and soak up some of that warmth. His bones ached- and the lie he was telling himself was already fraying at the edges. He was nowhere near fine.
“I understand that but—“ Asmodeus attempted to bite his tongue, feathers prickling upwards with a suppressed hiss; he was irate. “Y-You’re… You’re not immortal, Fizzarolli!!”
The demon’s gaze shifted to his partner, curious if he'd managed to get under the sin’s tough skin. He knew the bigger demon was right- he wasn’t immortal. Even as he spoke, he grimaced as he tried to move his shoulder; it sent a sharp pain through his bones, as if something was broken. He groaned, his body not allowing him to ignore the ache for much longer.
“You’re so reckless, Fizz! I—“ Asmodeus let a sigh escape his lips, exasperation easing into his shoulders as he gestured around himself. “You frustrate me sometimes!”
Squinting at him, Fizzarolli tried to follow his thinking, unsure of whatever point he was trying to make before he commented hesitantly as the silence dragged on “um… Can I go now?”
“FIZZ!!” he finally snapped which prompted Fizzarolli to withdraw his claws. Asmodeus plopping himself onto the edge of the bed without a loud creak, arms crossed.
“Do you have any idea what happened to you?! Were you not present at your own kidnapping?!” He asked with venom, words dripping with grief and guilt. “I- I could’ve lost you!! What would I have done if you’d died, huh?! Do you think I would have just… moved on?!”
“I-I’m sorry…” Fizzarolli hung his head in shame, his eyes filling with tears. He was already in enough pain, but now his heart hurt just as much. “I didn’t think- I thought it would pan out better, I… there a bunch of different factors, and I… there was a lot on my mind, I met an old… I got distracted and I—“
Words failed him as he croaked helplessly. He knew he'd been stupid, he didn't have to be told. He could have died, and all Asmodeus would have been left with were a bunch of distant memories.
He couldn’t say anything, his head was low, and he was focused on keeping the tears back. Even so, he felt a soft hand on his shoulder.
“Just listen to me next time, please.” His voice was soothing, as comforting as his eyes. He pulled the demon close, so that they were curled together on the bed as he pressed his lips against the top of his partner’s head. “You’re not as invincible as you think- I know you overestimate yourself, but please; think rationally sometimes!”
“…does this mean I’m not in trouble?”
Asmodeus laughed “No. You’re still getting punished.”
"Punished? For what?!" Fizz pulled away to face Asmodeus head-on, eyebrows shooting upwards, and his expression was one that was caught in a loop of shock and confusion. “What’re you gonna do, ground me?! Just wait until I get my lawyer on this!”
“That was the first thing on my mind,” The rooster said in a joking tone, his voice still stern but there was a smirk on his face that grew with Fizzarolli's reply. It was as if he’d expected this kind of response, or something akin to it. Feathered paws moved to rest idly on the demon’s scarred belly, and that was hint enough.
"Oh no. You can't be serious." He protested, a small whine forming on his lips that he quickly attempted (and failed) to disguise.
“Hmmm? I’m sure you’ll learn your lesson this way~ and I don’t see it fit to use any sort of ‘force’ on you.” The larger demon said, with a playful wink as he grabbed Fizz’s wrists with one hand and pinned them swiftly but gently down to the mattress. He could only snicker and offer Fizzarolli a shit-eating grin as his fingertips danced up and down his sides.
“Nohahahahaa!! That’s no fair!!” He squealed out and recoiled back- it was a flurry of giggles as Fizz’s own body betrayed him and gave his partner the reaction he knew he wanted.
“Hmmmm? You’re laughing too much, darling. You might wanna speak up~”
“Y-yohou're being so meeheeheean!!” He squealed and turned over. “You-!! I’m gohohohohoanna fucking kihihihihill you—“
It was an empty promise, meant more to prompt Asmodeus than to reflect on himself.
“Mhm~ I’m sure you will.” Asmodeus giggled, feathered beak nuzzling into his partner’s tummy, which made him buck instinctively.
“I’m- I'm sorreeeheeheeheehee!!”
“Sorry for what, hmmm?”
“Fohohohor- for doubting you-!!”
“And you promise to let me send an escort to at least check on you?” Asmodeus asked, mock-thought in his expression as he tapped his fluffy chin.
“Yehehehees, yes! Anything!!” Fizz squeaked as his partner squeezed his hips.
“Hmmm… Good, good! I think you’ve learnt your lesson.” And with that, he finally let up his tickle attack.
He chuckled, watching the tension leave Fizzarolli in an instant. After giving his partner a moment to catch his breath- he turned over, his long plait of feathers coming to rest alongside Fizz's chest while his beak gave him an affectionate peck.
"I hope that taught you a lesson about running off on your own.” Asmodeus said, nuzzling his beak into him. “Next time I won’t be so merciful~”
He winked- a clear indication that to Fizz of where his mind was at. They were content to lay with together as their bodies slowly cooled after the stress-filled night.
“I know- I promise I won’t do it again! I’ll listen to you more.”
“Promise?”
“Pinky promise.”

Tumblr media
you fell to the ground with a pained thud, and you scowled as you stared up at the sky. “damn it,” you huffed as you sat up, and you rested on your knees.
“i’m so sorry! are you okay?” izuku held out a hand to you and you allowed him to pull you up before you dusted off the knees of your costume.
“‘m fine,” you brushed back a few strands of hair that had escaped from your ponytail before you got back into position. “i’m ready now.”
“need to focus, kid,” your dad’s voice called from a few yards away where he was helping hitoshi with his capture weapon. to anyone else, he appeared bored, bored of correcting your mistakes and calling out your lack of attention, but you recognized the concern in his voice. you knew he’d be talking to you later and you briefly considered faking sick to avoid the inevitable conversation. “try again, then take a break.”
you nodded as you turned towards izuku again, eyes narrowing as you focused. you had been sparring for what felt like hours at this point, and you wanted to perfect this new takedown. your close combat skills were usually your strength, but you couldn’t focus today.
izuku nodded briefly at you before he was off, and you quickly countered his first attack. the two of you continued to spar, each getting a fair amount of blows in before you finally saw the opening you needed. you jumped into action and when izuku was finally pinned, you leaned back against the ground and let out an ‘oof’ as your back hit the grass, your eyes screwed shut from the sun. you enjoyed the feeling of the sun for a minute, and a moment later, you heard shifting beside you. you squinted your eyes open and reached over, shoving at izuku’s arm as he sat beside you.
“you did good today,” you said and izuku smiled at you.
“thank you! you did, too.” a brief pause. “i asked mr. aizawa if we could go off campus and grab dinner for everyone, i think it’s shoto’s night to cook.” you shuddered at the thought and nodded.
“good idea.” you sat up. “let me get my gym bag and say bye and we can go.” izuku nodded and you stood up, and you walked over to grab your things. hitoshi was finishing his cooldown stretches, your dad watching from a few feet away. you walked up to him and butted your head against the back of his arm. you smiled as your dad’s arm wrapped around your shoulders and his hand ruffled your hair.
“good takedown,” your dad commented before he looked at you. “still coming home tonight?” you nodded, gnawing at your lip. you switched between your dorm with your class and your room in the teacher’s dorms; you loved your classmates but sometimes you needed a break from them. and your dad’s was the best place to get that break. you missed your old house, but you still have the cats and hizashi and your aunt nemuri are close, so it was still pretty nice.
“gonna do dinner, watch a movie, then head over,” you let your eyes flutter closed for a moment, enjoying the rare moment of peace with your dad. he briefly rested his head against your own before he patted your shoulder.
“should shower first, too. don’t need you stinking up the house,” a subtle smirk made its way to his face and you glared up at him.
“just for that, i’m not going to.” you stuck your tongue out at him, narrowly ducking from the stray edge of capture weapon that shot out at you. “rude!”
you exchanged goodbyes with your dad, called out a goodbye to shinsou, then jogged over to izuku. you and izuku walked off campus and you talked about classes, upcoming exams. you were texting the class groupchat about dinner orders when he asked a question that made you pause.
“you seemed really distracted today. is everything okay?” you and izuku were close, you and him quickly becoming friends, and you had the same friend group.
“i’m a little worried about my weekend with my dad,” you admitted after a minute, and izuku stayed quiet, having learned when to let you rant. “he knows something is bothering me and i’m worried about him asking me. i can’t lie to him, he’s my dad. but i’m also terrified of how he’ll react.” izuku stayed quiet for another moment, and you sighed. “i’m thinking about telling him.”
you could practically hear the gears turning in izuku’s head until it clicked. your crush on momo wasn’t glaringly obvious, but you had let it slip to some of your friends (izuku, hitoshi, and ochako). your entire friend group knew you were bisexual, hell you’re pretty sure your entire class did, but your dad didn’t know. and you didn’t know what was worse- telling him about it or him realizing you’ve been hiding it from him for so long. and you were scared. scared of how he’d react, scared if things would change.
“do you want to tell him?”
“yes. no. i don’t know? he can tell something is up and today just confirmed it. it never should’ve taken me that long to knock you on your ass. he’s gonna ask what’s bothering me and i just… i can’t lie to him if he asks me.” your phone vibrated and a quick glance left you smiling once you saw the text. “he’s bound to find out soon, and it would only be worse if he found out from someone else.”
izuku nodded, a sympathetic smile on his lips. “it’ll be scary, but i know you can do it. if you want any of us there with you, we’d all be happy to.”
“thanks, zuku. this is something i need to do myself, though. but if it goes bad, i may hide in your room after.” izuku wraps an arm around you and pulls you into his side, and you wrap your arm around him. “thank you.” no other words were said as you walked into the restaurant and the nervous pit in your stomach started to fade away a little.
-
dinner came and went, and now your class had spread out across the common room to watch some pre-quirk era movie about this hero that resembled a spider.
“sero! do you think you could-“ denki started and without looking away from the screen, you spoke.
“don’t even think about it,” you said and denki’s friends started laughing.
“okay, sensei,” denki huffed and you instinctively shot a glare at the blonde. denki yelped and hid behind hitoshi, who wrapped an arm around him.
“dude, she’s not actually aizawa, you don’t have to hide from her.” you rolled your eyes, an amused smirk on your lips.
“she looks just like him! look at that,” denki whined. living with aizawa, naturally you adopted his facial expressions and even his ‘teacher voice’ at times. denki would forever be haunted by the resemblance you had to your father when he had accidentally woken you up, your eyes might as well have been glowing with the glare you had given him.
“well he is my father,” you drawled and momo giggled from beside you, and you willed yourself to keep your expression calm.
the rest of the movie played out and you had started to fall asleep on the couch. you froze as you felt a blanket drape over you and someone lean down.
“goodnight,” momo whispered, her lips brushing against your cheek before she excused herself to bed. a minute later, you peeked an eye open and were grateful to see you were the last one in the common area. what the fuck, what the fuck, what the fuck-
“coming to bed?” your dad’s voice startled you and you jumped off the couch. he raised an eyebrow at you and you nodded.
“sorry, yeah. just started falling asleep,” your dad’s gaze was disbelieving but he dropped it for now.
“have everything you need?” you felt for the phone in your pocket and nodded, and you tucked yourself into your dad’s side as you yawned. “let’s go.”
you woke up the next morning to the smell of coffee and the faint hum of the television. you stretched and yawned as you sat up before you stood and walked to the living room. you were greeted by the sight of your dad, coffee mug in one hand and pen in the other as he graded papers.
“morning,” you greeted as you walked to the coffee maker and you poured yourself a mug. you took a seat beside your dad a minute later, and you looked down at the papers as you leaned against him. “how’d i do?”
“good as usual,” your dad turned to kiss your temple, and you smiled. a comfortable silence filled the room as you watched your dad grade, occasionally looking up at the TV screen. it was quiet, it was peaceful. and then your dad spoke again.
“i’ve noticed you’ve been a little in your head lately. distracted easily, not as focused as usual.” a brief pause. “is everything okay?” you swore your heart stopped and you set your mug down with a shaky breath. your dad set his pen down and turned to face you, his focus fully on you. “kid?”
“i’ve wanted to tell you, i-i was just worried you’d get mad.” you whispered and he frowned.
“well, you’re sitting here now so you haven’t been arrested.” the blunt statement shocked you and you couldn’t help but smile a bit. “i’m your teacher, so i’d know if you were expelled, suspended, or failing anything. none of your classmates ever come to me with any complaints about how you treat them. i don’t see what you could’ve done that would make me upset with you.”
“it’s nothing i did. it’s just… i don’t know how to explain it. just something i… discovered?” you could practically hear the gears in his head turning.
“is it about school?” you shook your head.
“do you remember the crush i had on hitoshi?” you decided to finally get to it and your stomach twisted and turned. he didn’t have his capture weapon on, you could realistically make it out the door before he could get it. you wouldn’t make it far, but you could make it to nemuri’s or hizashi’s. no, you needed to tell him. you could run away after.
your dad nodded. “didn’t that end a while ago? when he started liking someone else?” you nodded.
“i had never had a crush on anyone before hitoshi and when he told me he liked someone else, i was upset. i had my friends to help me through it, and i got close with one of them. i think i really like them, but…”
your dad stayed quiet, waiting to see if you’d continue talking or if he could talk. you took a deep breath before you looked your dad in the eyes. “i like momo.” you whispered. “i, i never liked another girl before and i didn’t know i could. then denki talked to me about it and said i could be bisexual? and i am. bi.”
the silence was deafening and you felt your hands start to shake. you wanted your dad to say something, anything, but you were scared of what he would say.
“have you asked her out yet?”
“i’m sorry, i’ll go back to the- wait, what?”
“why are you apologizing?” your dad asked and suddenly, his expression softening. “did you think i would react badly?” your vision immediately became blurry and your eyes began to burn. seconds later, you were pulled into your dad’s chest and you latched onto him. you sobbed against him, tears soaking through his shirt as he rubbed your back. “you’re happy, you’re healthy, you’re not hurting anyone. that’s all i could ever ask for,” another sob left you at his words and you shifted to look up at him.
one hand combed through your hair and the other cupped your cheek, thumbs wiping away stray tears. “i-i don’t know why, but i thought you’d be mad at me,” you whimpered and your dad shook his head.
“never. you can’t control who you love, it would be illogical to get mad over something you had no control over.” your dad leaned back against the couch, and you curled into his side. “besides, would be extremely irrational of me to get upset over you being bi since i’ve been dating hizashi for the last two months.” it took you a minute to process his words and you sat up.
“what?! you and hizashi?” your dad nodded, amused smile on his face and you stood up. “come on, get up. i need to go talk to him if you thought you two could date without telling me!” laughter filled the dorm and as you walked down the hall a minute later with your dad trailing behind, you couldn’t be happier. maybe now you could finally ask momo on a date.

ONE MORE BC THE LAST ONE WAS SO CUTE- like jinx and vi’s gf overworks herself and they nag her while she’s sick but still ended up babying here and being soft 🥺🙏
Whaaaat? Only one more? Plz request as much as you want! It’ll take me a bit to write it but I’m obsessed with all the requests I’ve been getting omfggggg 🥹 dude also I’m SOOOOO sorry this took me forever to get to, I’m so busy…but thanks for the ask! This was so cute to write AH ENJOY~
JINX 🦋
You were startled from your seated and slumped over position by the door slamming open. As you turn in your seat, you’re greeted by an angry faced Jinx. “What the hell are you doing, (Y/N)?” She watches as you lift the goggles off your face and onto your head, her hands on her hips and a frown on her lips. There’s a sheepish smile on your bright red face as she begins to stomp her way over to you. “I’m working on that-“ She’s quick to interrupt you. “No, actually! You’re sick and you’re supposed to be in bed right now.” “I’m not sick anymore.”
With a frustrated sigh, Jinx presses her hand against your forehead and glares at you soon after. “You’re bright red and you’re burning hot.” You take the chance to distract her and change the subject. “Ooh, so you think I’m hot, huh?” This causes her to turn bright red as well, a small smirk now replacing her frown. “Psshh, yeah you’re like super hot- WAIT! Don’t change the subject! Get your butt in your room and in bed right now or I’ll have to drag you there kicking and screaming.” Her frown is back but she’s still blushing at the flirting that just took place between you.
Reluctantly, you stand and begin trudging towards your room with Jinx following right behind you. “Babe, really, I’m fine. I’m feeling so much-“ “Nonononono, shush. Just keep walking.” She gently pushes your back with just one finger, skipping behind you now. She’s so cute when she’s all concerned about you like this, it always makes your heart swell. Once in your room, Jinx slams the door behind you guys and suddenly her hands are all in your clothes.
“Whoa whoa! I know you think I’m super hot but Jesus…” This pulls a small giggle from her as she shakes her head at you. “I’m getting you in some comfy clothes, you perv!” Now you’re laughing too. She helps you change and you can’t help but notice how soft and slow and patient she is being with you right now, this is so unlike the Jinx you know. She’s slow as she pulls your top off and she is careful as she helps you remove your shoes. Her hands move with a graceful purpose as she pulls the thin shirt over your head. “I’m just sick, not injured…I can dress myself, Jinx.” Now she’s giving you a playful glare. “I thought you said you weren’t sick anymore.” You simply roll your eyes in response before she grabs your hand and pulls you towards the bed.
You quickly crawl under the covers and take a deep breath in, exhaling loudly as you close your eyes. It surprises you a bit to feel the covers lifted up and as you turn to look behind you, Jinx is also half dressed now and climbing in next to you. You scoot away from her a bit. “Noooo, I’m gonna get you sick.” “So?” “And don’t you have work to do?” “No.” You decide it’s probably best to stop arguing because she’s already spooning you now, her chest pressed against your back, her breath drifting across the nape of your neck, your butt up against her thighs.
After a minute of her holding you tightly like this, she eventually breaks the silence. “Thanks.” You’re confused now. “For what?” It takes her a second to respond. “For finally resting. You worry me sometimes.” And now you’re not sure what to say next. You never want to worry her. Geez, maybe you really should start taking better care of yourself.
“I’m sorry. I didn’t mean to worry-“ She shushes you and scoots herself even closer to you. “Shut up and just take a nap with me. Gosh, you talk too much.” You’re acting as if you’re offended but also you can’t hold back your laugh. “You’re one to talk.” “I said shut up!” You’re still laughing, even harder now but you decide you should probably listen to her before she tries to hug you any tighter. You’re kind of having trouble breathing right now but there’s no where else you’d rather be than right here.
VI 💘
“Excuse me.” You look up from the floor at your pink haired partner, noticing the angry look on her face. “Yes?” You respond plainly as you try to catch your breath and watch as she crosses her arms. “Why are you not in bed?” “I’m training. You’re the one who said I need to train more and learn to protect myself better.” Vi furrows her brows at you and shakes her head. “Yeah but not when you’re sick.” As you stand to meet her gaze, she just watches you with an annoyed expression. “But I’m feeling better. Really, I’m fine.” You weren’t really feeling better but you wouldn’t admit that to her. You didn’t need to, she could tell you were lying.
She doesn’t even bother to argue with you and instead she grabs your wrist and begins dragging you to your room. “Vi, please. I’m not a child, I don’t-“ “Well you’re acting like one.” You gasp in surprise at her harsh words. “I am not! I’m fine, I swear!” She’s silent now as she pushed the door to your room open, still firmly grasping your wrist. You’re kind of frustrated with her but you’re also very flattered that she’s so concerned about you.
“Vi-“ “Shush.” You finally obey, staying quiet now as she pulls some more comfy clothes out of your closet and tosses them on the bed. Without even being asked, you begin changing right in front of Vi and you can’t help but notice her staring. “Like what you see?” You don’t even need to look at her, but you taunt her with a cheeky smile as she crosses her arms again. She’s trying not to smile but she’s failing miserably. “Shut. Up. I’m just making sure you don’t run off when my back is turned. I don’t trust you.” You stop what you’re doing and look over at her with wide eyes and a pout. “Wow! You don’t trust me?” She chuckles softly and finally looks away from you. “Not right now, I don’t. Just hurry up and get in bed. Don’t make me come pick you up.”
That’s something Vi always uses as a threat- if you don’t do what she wants you to do, she’ll just come pick you up and carry you along as you complain the whole time. You secretly love it…and so does she.
Once you’re changed, instead of getting straight into bed, you walk over to Vi and offer her a small smile. “Get out of here. I know you’ve got shit to do. I promise I’ll stay here and rest, okay?” She returns the sweet smile as she gentle rests her bandaged hands on your shoulders. “The only shit I’ve got to do right now is take care of you.” Now you’re smiling even bigger, your cheeks slowly turning red. “You’re gonna stay with me? What if I get you sick too?” Vi pretty much ignores you as she sits on the edge of the bed and begins pulling her boots off. You watch her as she stands and yanks her pants off before crawling up into your sheets.
“You coming?” She asks as she shimmies under the blanket and then holds it open for you to join her. Your face feels hot and tingly, like you might pass out and you’re not sure if it’s because you really aren’t feeling good or if it’s because Vi is in her underwear in your bed and she actually wants to cuddle you right now. Either way, you try to ignore the feeling as you fumble your way in next to her. She laughs softly at your flustered state as she wraps her arms around you and pulls your head to lay on her chest. Naturally, as you lay on your stomach, one arm falls over her waist.
“Damn, you’re burning up.” She tosses the blanket off of you two and sighs. “You need to take better care of yourself, (Y/N). You’re gonna work yourself to the grave pretty soon if you don’t take a break every now and then. You’re pushing it too hard.” You’re surprised to hear this from her, she often pushes herself too hard and never takes a day off. As if she could read your mind right now, she continues with “I know I push myself too hard. But…Do as I say, not as I do.” This makes you laugh softly against her and you’re closing your eyes now. “I just…I worry about you. You deserve to rest.”
You’re pretty much speechless now, this is the most calm and gentle she’s ever been with you and you both wish this moment could last forever. After a minute or so, you clear your throat because speaking. “Sorry…” Vi hugs you a little firmer before kissing the top of your head. She doesn’t respond to your apology, instead she sighs again, more of a content and relieved sigh this time. “And thanks…” Your voice is just above a whisper now. Vi doesn’t respond and as you tilt your head to look up at her, you notice her eyes are closed too but she’s smiling so hard right now.

“Come on, princesses. My grandma can run faster than that – and she’s dead!”
Shinobu shot you an amused glance from across the room as you sat in your wheelchair, watching as the three boys ran their seventy-fifth lap. You grinned, averting your gaze as the blondie ran past, wide circle eyes staring at you desperately.
“Pleaseee, I can’t take – “
“Agatsuma!” Shinobu barked, “Thirty more laps and you’re done for today. Now shut up and get running!”
You giggled behind your hand. Ever since the incident, you had become prone to spending your days either sitting aimlessly in your room or watching the younger members of the corps train. Clearly, with both of your legs in casts and your torso swallowed in bandages, there weren't a whole lot of options. Because of this, you had been begging Shinobu to give you a couple of wood crutches; that way you could at least get around the mansion a bit easier. Alas, she had refused your request every time.
The woman in question made her way across the training space towards you, lips quirked up mischievously. As she came to a stop beside you, one of her hands came down to clasp your shoulder .
“Honestly, do you have anything better to do than distract these three?” she said, watching the boys. You cast her a long look, eyes narrowing.
“Don’t know if you noticed, Kocho…but I'm kind of crippled here. Not much else I can do.”
The insect hashira laughed at that, waving you off.
“How many times have I told you that your legs will be healed and fine in no time, hm? Trust me, you’ll be off fighting upper moons again before you know it.”
You grumbled at that, reclining further back in the wooden wheelchair.
“No thanks.”
At your words, Shinobu quirked a brow, turning to face you fully. “No? You’re not thinking of retiring are you?” The both of you sat in silence for a moment, her brows furrowing further as you refused to answer. “Hey…I mean I know you nearly died and all that, but it’s just a little hiccup in the road – like I said, you’ll be fine in a couple of weeks; it’ll be like nothing ever happened.”
You let her assurance hang for a moment, a sigh leaving your lips as you thought about your reply.
“I’m tired, Shinobu. This life, this…” you struggled to voice your feelings. “Women our age are married. They have families. We’re out here cutting the heads off of demons and watching as ambitious teenagers are sent off to be killed on missions. And - and to what end, really?”
She pondered your words, a frown now tugging her lips downwards. When she finally spoke, she had averted her gaze to the jogging boys.
“Since the accident…sometimes you don’t sound like yourself.” she shot you a quick look, trying to gauge your reaction. “You know why we fight. You know why we lay down our lives. We save people. We work endlessly towards stopping Muzan. That’s the end goal and you know it.” Her words trailed off. On the other side of the matts, the trio began slowing down.  “You know what Kanae told me, when she was still alive? She said that just because we’re demon slayers - just because we’re cursed with this miserable life, it doesn’t mean we can’t love. It doesn’t mean we can’t have a family.” A large crease appeared in her forehead. She turned her stare back to you, determination prominent in her eyes. “So, you need to stop acting sorry for yourself. People die, people get hurt. Tough luck, suck it up. I don’t know what happened that day or what went down between the three of you, but sitting here, acting like you’re gonna quit the corps? It’s dumb. You can be happy. You can be that woman who’s married and has a family - but you’re just choosing not to, you’re scared.”
A heavy feeling gurgled in your gut. You didn’t want to admit it, but Shinobu was right. You were scared, and you were acting pathetic because of it. The thought was confronting.
All the words that you had exchanged with Iguro and Mitsuri rushed back to you. The fear of death - the pain of never having lived a fulfilling, happy life…it had overwhelmed you. And as a result, you had pushed away some of the only people who truly cared for you. The people you loved.
It made you want to crawl into a dark cave and never come out.
Maybe that had been your last chance. Your only chance. Iguro and Mitsuri probably thought you were a big tantrum-throwing baby who couldn’t handle her emotions. They probably thought you hated them. And if there was one thing you knew for sure in this  terrible world - it was that you definitely did not hate them. Not a single piece of your broken, banged up body hated them. Lord, even when Iguro had made you turn red from anger - you didn’t hate him. And Mitsuri, who could ever hate her? She was the sweetest, love stricken person you had ever had the pleasure of laying your eyes on. Now though…now they probably hate you, if anything.
The thought had you clenching your fists tightly on the arms of your chair.
Shinobu looked at you with a knowing smile, opening her mouth to speak. Before she could, three panting boys stumbled up to the pair of you, tongues lolling out of mouths and sweat sticking their hair to their heads like a second skin.
Quickly, you righted the frown on your face.
“Done for today?” you asked. It was Tanjiro who answered, a beaming grin on his face despite the harrowing breaths leaving his lips.
“Yup, all done! Thank you for today's training, Kocho-Sama!” he directed his next words at you. “Would you like to go back to your room? I can take you!”
You contemplated for a second, eyes glancing between the three demon slayers in front of you.
“Actually, I was going to go out to the garden for a while. Get some fresh air. Thank you though, Tanjiro.” The maroon-haired boy smiled in response. On his left, Inosuke was rocking impatiently on his feet, whilst Zenitsu practically fell asleep standing up. Next to you, Shinobu shook her head at the younger boys with raised brows.
“Same time tomorrow, don’t be late.” Her command was met with instant agreement. Zenitsu even stopped blowing snot bubbles for a second to answer. Your laughter was cut short when she turned her gaze to you. “And you, we’re gonna have a real long chat tomorrow, so I better see your ass here as well.” she regarded you with a stern look. “Maybe I can even get you to start exercising your legs a little so you’re not so useless…”
Your offended look did not go unnoticed as she sauntered out of the room, waggling her fingers goodbye. You couldn’t help but mutter to yourself angrily.
“I’m still a Hashira too, y’know.”
~
A couple minutes later you found yourself being pushed down a long hallway. Despite your insistence to Tanjiro that you could make your way to the garden by yourself, he wouldn’t let up. So now, to your absolute chagrin, you were being accompanied by a boar who was jumping off the walls, a babbling baby who was trying to fall asleep in your lap and a kind, but obsessive boy who was pushing your wheelchair like his life depended on it.
For the eighth time, you pushed Zenitsu’s wobbling form away from you.
“You’re not sleeping on me, Agatsuma. Don’t even try.” He whined but backed off a little, stomping grumpily down the hall next to you. Behind you, Tanjiro was humming something to himself cheerily. A little ways ahead, Inosuke was trying to fight with a random Kakushi.
You had little doubt that the look on your face was pure exhaustion.
The Kakushi currently getting harassed began sprinting down the hall past the rest of you, Inosuke hot on his tail. You rolled your eyes, opening your mouth to say something but deciding against it. As they passed, at the last minute you decided to stick your arm out. The Kakushi bypassed it unscathed, but Inosuke, with no awareness of his surroundings, ran right into your protruding limb, the force of the impact sending him sprawling backwards. In an instant, the Kakushi disappeared around the corner. The edges of your lips tilted up. Before you could blink, Inosuke was back up on his feet; boar eyes seemingly piercing into your soul and nostrils flaring with misty breath. You rubbed at the fading pain in your arm and stared back at him blankly. The entrance to the garden was only ten or so metres away, but Tanjiro tastefully chose this time to stop pushing you.
“Why’d you do that?” The feral boy growled out behind his mask, slinking closer. It was almost as if he was…trying to intimidate you? Tanjiro’s voice came over the top of your head.
“Um, Inosuke…she was just trying to help.”
He ignored that, coming right up to your prone form and leaning down into your personal bubble. The ends of his mask tickled your face. You coughed in response, trying to hide the fact you were about to burst out laughing.
“Inosuke!” Tanjiro admonished like a mother.
Before you could make a snarky remark at the animal-esque boy, two scrawny arms were pulling Inosuke away from you. You watched in confusion as Zenitsu restrained the trembling boar for a moment, his chin wiggling in fear.
“Stop!” Zenitsu cried out. “She did nothing wrong, you crazy buffoon!” Inosuke roared, shoving an elbow into his friend's face and breaking free from his grip. Red instantly began to stream from the lightning user’s nose like a broken faucet.
“Eh!? The hell you think you’re doing, Monitsu?!”
You nearly smiled at the defiant look in Zenitsu’s eyes as Inosuke set his sights on him. Key word being nearly. What he said next diminished any admiration you held for him.
“You can’t hit a girl, you psycho! Especially not one of my future wives!” your gaze narrowed instantly. “You’ll marr her lovely skin!”
“You’re a literal child,” you grumbled to yourself, going unheard by the rest of the boys. As you watched them bicker, all you could do was groan, leaning your head back to look at Tanjiro. He seemed to read something on your face as he stepped out from behind you to interfere. As he did so, you slapped a hand to your head in exasperation. You had wanted him to get you out of there, not make you stay around to watch these two bicker and fight.
As Tanjiro began trying to deescalate the situation, the hallway somehow became louder with more shouting and arguing. Now, the hall was consumed by yelling teenage boys threatening to beat eachother up. And here you thought you were having a good day.
You peered at the three, wondering if you should stop them as they began to tussle.
It only took you a second to decide. Nah, not your problem.
Reaching for your wheels, you began trying to navigate around the boys to get to the door. The wood of your wheelchair groaned as it slowly made its way across the floor towards the threshold. You passed the fighting group without a glance, readjusting your uniform nonchalantly. Your feet were practically in the sun as you reached the outside door. A gentle draft was coming in from the patio and you let yourself smile a little, rearing to get across the door frame.
Right before you could pop a wheelie and haul yourself across the little cylinder trimming blocking the entrance, a low voice echoed down the hall behind you.
“What do you think you’re doing?”
Your spine instantly tensed, and you paused mid-action to whip your head around. Your heart freaked for a moment, thinking the voice was directed at you. Though when you assessed the sight behind you, you realised that - that wasn’t the case.
At the end of the hallway, where the four of you had come from, stood Iguro. His steely eyes were trained on Tanjiro, Inosuke and Zenitsu. At the Serpent Hashira’s question, the hall became deathly silent in a second.
You kept very quiet; he hadn’t noticed you there yet. Your eyes darted between the garden and the three boys who looked like they had been caught stealing. Breath caught in your throat, you were about to make a sneaky exit when Iguro began talking again.
“Seriously. How old are you? What’re your names? I’ll report you for insolence in a Hashira’s residence.” He scoffed, eyes roving the boys in boredom. You pursed your lips, looking once more at the boys who had grown extremely still. Reflexively, your gaze wandered back to Iguro.
When no one responded, the raven-haired male began stalking forward, his checkered haori swaying around him.
“Hm, so? Don’t wanna talk?” he cracked his knuckles creepily, Kabumararu coiling over his shoulders. “That’s fine. I'll make you talk.”
You had to forcibly stop yourself from rolling your eyes at his stupid threat. However, when you looked back to the boys, you realised they didn’t share quite the same amusement as you.
Zenitsu was sporting the typical deer-caught-in-headlights look, with big, wet tears starting to form. Instead of hitting Inosuke, he was now clutching onto him tightly, using him as a meatshield from the imposing Hashira. Inosuke himself had completely tensed up and you couldn’t quite tell if he was getting ready to try to fight Iguro or run away from him. Besides them, Tanjiro was looking awfully guilty. He, at least, seemed sort of alright with the confrontation.
You were now faced with a choice: slip out the door and leave these three to their possible demise or step in and tell Iguro to relax…One of the options was certainly looking better than the other.
Even so, you weren’t completely cruel and you were kind of the reason that this had happened in the first place.
You sighed, slowly pushing yourself backwards into the hall. The rolling of your wheelchair instantly caught everyone's attention and you cleared your throat awkwardly. As you came to a slow stop, you raised your gaze to meet Iguro’s. Before you could say anything, Zenitsu called out to you in what he must have thought was a quiet voice, his form trembling now.
“Hey, hey! Help us, please. Please!”
Now it was him everyone was looking at. His throat bobbed as he gulped deeply, shrinking under the scrutinising glare of the older man in the room. He shot one last desperate look in your direction.
You couldn’t help but sigh once again, cracking your neck and squaring your shoulders.
“Alright, Obanai. I think you’ve scared them enough.”
The boys sagged in relief. Iguro averted his stare back to you and you witnessed how his eyes seemed to soften as they took you in. Though it was totally a trick of the light, you told yourself. Surely you didn’t look very pretty, all dinged up and useless in a wheelchair. Despite this, Iguro changed his course of trajectory, walking towards you. The boys watched on fearfully, thinking you had pissed him off. You didn’t blame them, because you also thought you had pissed him off.
It wouldn’t be the first time.
As he came closer, you noticed the slight limp in his step and the numerous cuts torn across his face. There were some rips in his haori and a stain on his bandages that resembled blood. You raised an eyebrow. Before you could remark on it, he had stopped a few feet in front of you, eyes devoid of any emotion.
“You look better.”
There was an awkward silence. You glanced behind Iguro to where the trio seemed to contemplate their escape. Something that felt awfully similar to sweat pooled in your palms. You should say thanks, right? Right. What came out though was definitely not a thanks.
“You look like shit.” Instantly, you clapped a hand over your mouth, eyes widening. That was not what you meant to say. What the hell was wrong with you? Quickly, you held up your hands placatingly, “No, no - I didn’t mean. I mean - you look fine. You must have just got back from a mission? Yeah, you did…it’s uh. It’s fine. Wait, I mean - “ you tripped over your words, only to stop when a low chuckle reached your ears. You went completely silent when you looked up to see Iguro regarding you fondly, a warmness starting to blossom in your cheeks.
“Mitsuri and I just got done with a mission. We, “ he glanced back at the eavesdropping boys, “We were going after it. The upper moon.”
Your eyes widened slightly at his words, a heavy silence now basking the hall.
“Oh.”
Iguro laughed again, shoulders shrugging.
“It was a trap though. We barely made it out…” his words trailed off. Your heart hammered so hard, you thought it might re-break your ribs.
“But - but you’re okay, right? I mean, where’s Mitsuri? She’s alright?” It was hard to hide the nervousness in your voice. Iguro seemed surprised but he quickly hid it, nodding his head.
“She’s fine. A little battered up as well, but fine. She should - ”
As if she was summoned, Mitsuri pranced around the corner, her pink locks flying behind her. She came to a stop as she regarded the crowded hall curiously.
“Oh! Hi everybody?” If the boys weren’t relaxed before, they certainly were now. With two other Hashiras around, they were decidedly protected from Iguro’s wrath. It was Tanjiro who greeted her back, waving a hand. She smiled sweetly, eyes wandering towards Iguro and ultimately landing on you. Her smile flickered for a second, shoulders seeming to curl the slightest bit.
“Oh,” she whispered this time. “Hi.” Unsure of what her body language meant, you smiled hesitantly back at her.
“Hey, Suri’...”
At the nickname, something in her eyes flared and suddenly she was skipping down the hall towards you and Iguro. As she passed by the boys, one of her hands reached out to pat Zenitsu on the head. Lovehearts literally shone in his eyes.
“Honey!” she cooed as she reached you. It was as if nothing had happened between you two as she grabbed your face with one hand, angling it up and down. She hummed under her breath. “Well, you’ve certainly healed well!” she stared at you with a soft, simpering smile - almost as if begging you not to push her away again. You didn’t. Rather, you laughed quietly, cupping the hand that was now resting on your cheek.
“Yeah…we all know Shinobu’s medicine works wonders. Don’t tell her I said that, though.” Mitsuri grinned at that, taking a step back. As she did, your eyes were drawn to the bandages peeking out from beneath her uniform. “Are you alright?” you asked her without missing a beat. She followed your gaze, then looked at Iguro sceptically. He nodded back at her.
“I’m okay, it’s just a cut. Um…” she looked at Iguro a second time, displeasure now causing her nose to scrunch. When she looked back at you, it became glaringly obvious that she was nervous.
“What, Suri’?” you asked. Her cheeks grew a little bit pink.
“It’s just that…I’m sorry. We went on that mission to take down the upper moon and failed. I - I know it meant a lot to you.” The smile on your face quickly vanished, but not for the reason Mitsuri seemed to think. As she raised her hands to apologise again, you interrupted.
“You’re sorry? Mitsuri no, you don’t need to apologise to me. I know how I reacted a couple weeks ago but I don’t - y’know, I don’t actually care. I mean, you don’t owe me anything…”
Her head tilted to the side, a pout coming onto her face. Iguro spoke up.
“You don’t…care? We’ve been away for weeks hunting that demon for you because we thought…we - “ Iguro paused, looking over at the trio of boys still listening to your conversation. “Maybe we should go somewhere a little more private.” Mitsuri nodded her agreement.
“No.” You all paused, staring at Zenitsu as he announced himself in a meek voice. Iguro in particular, stared hauntingly at him. This was enough for the blonde to cower back, looking to his friends for help. Indeed, Tanjiro came to his aid.
“No, he’s right. We were taking her to the garden before you interrupted. You can’t just take her away when she doesn’t wanna go!”
You blinked at Tanjiro repeatedly, trying to process his words. When you did, you nearly cried in exasperation. These kids were crazy. You went to explain, but was stopped by Iguro as he took a step towards the boys.
“Are you trying to say we can’t talk to our girl in private?” he asked darkly. Tanjiro paled but didn’t back down. Zenitsu, on the other hand, completely hid himself behind Inosuke. (Though you were pretty sure that Inosuke had fallen asleep at some point in all of this).
Mitsuri and you exchanged a look.
“Stop it, Iguro.” you groaned. “And Zenitsu, Tanjiro - for god's sake, I am going on my own free will. No one is making me do anything. Just go back to your room or something!” you snapped at them. For the first time since you had met, the boys seemed to remember that you were a Hashira, which meant you could look after yourself. It also meant that you were undoubtedly capable of dismembering them if they got on your nerves…which they had, many times before this. Their eyes widened but they nodded, scurrying off down the hall. You watched them go, casting a look at the now snoring Inosuke still standing there.
“Should we wake him?” Mitsuri pondered.
“No.” Iguro retorted, reaching towards you.
“What’re you doin - Yah!” All of a sudden you had left the discomforts of your wheelchair and were dangling idly in the air.  With your legs useless, you couldn’t do much but glare at the Serpent Hashira. He peered down at you, shrugging.
“Easier to move you around this way.” he said simply. Next to you, Mitsuri giggled.
You had no choice but to accept it, grumbling to yourself as you tried to hide the slight flush creeping up your neck.
~
Outside, the sun was high in the sky. The sound of birds and running water echoed from the forest beyond the garden walls.
Mitsuri had directed the three of you towards a large oak, where you now sat in the cool shade. You had propped yourself up against the trunk, Iguro to your right and Mitsuri laying on her tummy in front of you two.
You all sat in silence, watching the calm scenery pass you by. Iguro’s head flopped back against the bark, a quiet sigh leaving his lips. Mitsuri yawned, legs kicking up behind her as she stretched out her arms. You just sat and watched, eyebrows drawn as you thought about what to say. Were you supposed to ignore what had happened three weeks ago? Were you guys just hanging out as friends now? Iguro had started saying something back inside but maybe he didn’t want to talk about it…
Your lips pursed.
Before you could dive deeper into your lair of doubt and confusion, a loud chatter caught your attention. All of you watched as a small group of demon slayers stumbled through the garden gates and made their way toward the mansion. As they joked around with each other, your eyes caught on their nichirin blades, shimmering like glitter in the sun. Your finger twitched beside you.
Your katana was long gone. After it had snapped into two on the mountain, it served you no purpose. Because of this, you had been blade-less ever since you woke up. Though Shinobu promised you that your swordsmith would bring you a new blade any day now, you were beginning to think she was lying to you to keep your spirits high. If you had it your way, you would’ve gone to the swordsmith village by now and re-equipped yourself; but no, apparently that wasn’t an option according to the Insect Hashira. Despite your argument that you could heal fine at the village and not have to worry about demons, you were ‘not permitted to leave the butterfly mansion until approved by a senior doctor.’ AKA, until Shinobu Kocho stopped being the bane of your existence.
Mitsuri followed your gaze, looking back at you with a small smile.
“You must really wanna get back out there after being cooped up in here the last couple’a weeks, huh?”
You shrugged noncommittally, eyes falling away from the blade as the slayers made their way inside.
“I suppose so,” you hummed, fingers tugging at the grass absentmindedly. Iguro grumbled from your right.
“Well I don’t want to fight another demon for the next fifty years after that last fight. Fuckin’ hell.”
MItsuri laughed, swatting at his leg playfully. At the same time, she nodded her head.
“It was…” she chuckled softly. “It was a lot.”
As you observed her a bit closer, you saw the dark shadows under her eyes and the purplish-blue where a bruise was beginning to form on her cheek. The numerous cuts littering her face was giving way to the warm swelling beneath. Glancing besides you, you noted that the same could be said for Iguro. Hot glue stuck your throat closed as you shut your eyes briefly. This was your fault.
“I’m sorry.” You spoke quietly. “You didn’t have to…I mean, you didn’t need to go after the upper moon. I - I’m sorry.” You couldn’t think of what else to say but apologise. You were the reason they had come home looking like crap. You were the reason they were probably aching all over right now. You. It was you.
“Shuddup,” Iguro suddenly barked, peering over at you. You stopped yourself from jolting at his unexpected demand.
“I-”
“I don’t know what you’re thinking, but we went after that upper moon on Ubayashiki’s orders. It had nothin’ to do with you.”
Your eyes widened, lips opening and closing as you tried to find the words to respond.
“Iguro!” Mitsuri groaned, one hand slapping her forehead. Like you, she gaped for a second as she tried to find the right words to say.
“What? I’m just telling the truth.” He said calmly. Mitsuri glowered at him, one finger rising up to point at him menacingly.
“That is not the tru-” her eyes lit up with a sudden realisation. “You’re just grumpy because that demon called you ugly!” she accused.
“Huh?!”
“Huh?”
Both you and Iguro spoke at the time, although Iguro was sounding a little more outraged at her words.
“The demon what?” your question fell on deaf ears.
“I am not grumpy about that!” Iguro defended himself instantly. Mitsuri responded back with equal fervour.
“You totally are! I told you you’re not ugly! Why are you still mad?!”
“I’m not!”
“You are!”
It took you a second to process the words being exchanged but once you did you could do nothing but clasp a hand over your mouth and stifle your giggles. Kaburamaru slithers over from Iguro’s shaking shoulders to perch on you grumpily. You reached your free hand up to stroke along his head gently, watching the two bicker.
It was only when Mitsuri’s wild eyes turned to you, did you realise that you should say something.
“You’re not ugly, Iguro.” You said, nudging the hashira next to you. The stream of words falling from his lips paused as he turned to look at you. “The demon was probably just trying to rile you up. In fact, you’re the least ugly guy I know.” you grinned easily at him and he seemed stunned for words. Mitsuri sighed dramatically, plopping back down into the grass with a huff. You bit your tongue to stop from laughing.
“That’s not true,” Iguro mumbled, head turning away from you. As you lose sight of his face, your face falls flat. Who knew that the Snake Hashira of all people would be so vain? Seeing the expression you bore, Mitsuri shook her hands at you, urging you to continue. You stuck your tongue out at her.
“Oh, Iguro ~ “ you murmur, hair falling in your face as you shake your head conspiratorially. “Really, you’re the most handsome guy I know. Don’t be such a baby about it, okay? It almost takes away from how stunning you are.”
You grin like a vixen when his head whips back towards you. With his face right in front of you, you can see the light dusting of red covering his cheeks.
“But I -”
“Oh good lord, Iguro!” you snapped playfully. “What is this? One of those cheesy love stories Mitsuri likes to read?” you ignore the yelped ‘hey’ from the bubblegum haired girl. “Don’t give me that bullcrap! I’ve literally seen you without your bandages and I still love you so what's the problem!?”
Your breath leaves you in pants as you contain a laugh. Iguro continues to stare at you, his pupils dilating. It isn’t until you turn to look at Mitsuri that you realise something is wrong. She’s gone silent, mouth dropped open.
“What? What did I say?” you ask hesitantly, glancing back at Iguro.
The squeals are all the warning you get before a solid force smashes into you. Slightly disoriented, you barely register Mitsuri wrapping around you like a toddler.
“I knew it! I knew it! I knew it!”
You groan, peeking one eye open to look at the Love Hashira. She’s already beaming down at you, hands cupping your face.
“I knew you loved us!” She rotates to talk to Iguro. “I told you she was just overwhelmed! I did!”
He goes to say something back at her but ends up just shaking his head. His bandages shift slightly upwards.
Listening to Mitsuri, what you just said dawns on you. Your face pales, lips parting slightly. Mitsuri catches the look on your face and jumps, about to clamber off of you. Before she can, you wrap a hand around her arm softly. Her face flushes but she stays where she is.
You wet your lips, trying to make sense of all the thoughts in your head.
“Hey,” Mitsuri whispers. “You know it’s okay if you didn’t mean to say that…I’m not trying to force you to confess your undying love for us if you don’t actually love us, y’know?”
You shoot a surprised look at her. “Huh? No! No that’s not it. I just…how? Why?”
“You're gonna have to be a bit more specific than that,” she giggles. The hold you have on her loosens slightly, your eyes casting towards the ground.
“How can you still love me? After what I said? How I pushed you away?” Tears hide behind your eyelids. “I was a total bitch. I mean, I thought you would never even talk to me again! I’m sorry. I’m so, so sorry.”
Mitsuri looks away and you realise that she’s mouthing something at Iguro. Suddenly, there’s a hand gripping onto yours tightly.
“Stop apologising,” Iguro’s gruff voice comes from beside you. You realise it’s his hand that you’re holding. “Suri’ kept saying that you were just overwhelmed, that you didn’t mean what you said. I realise now that she was right.” You can’t stop the tears that dribble down your cheeks. Mitsuri’s hold on you tightens. “I mean, you nearly died that day and here we were announcing our love for you? What the hell is up with that?”
You choke on a laugh, fingers curling into the palm of his hand.
“What I’m trying to say,” Iguro mutters, somewhat embarrassed. “Is that if anyone should be sorry, it’s us. We pushed you too far and didn’t stop to consider how you may have felt. So…we’re sorry.”
Everything goes quiet, your quiet sniffling slowing down. Mitsuri leans back to smile at you.
“Can we just stop all this sad shit?” she laughs. You echo her, reaching up to wipe away the remaining water in your eyes.
“Yeah. Yeah, I think so.” You.
“Please. No more of this emotional crap.” Iguro.
All three of you begin laughing in earnest now. All the drama and tears getting carried away by the gentle breeze that sweeps through the garden.
As you calm down, you notice the soft look on Mitsuri’s face. Her eyes dart down for a second, a pinkish hue colouring her cheeks.
Before you can question it, she’s pressing her lips to yours, hands gripping at your shirt tightly. It starts as quickly as it ends as she pulls back, eyes twinkling with stars.
“Too soon?” she giggles.
“Not soon enough,” you murmur, tugging her back towards you. Iguro’s firm grip on your hand keeps you safe and warm, reminding you that they were your family - your priority.

lose you - rooster bradshaw x pilot!reader
this is my first time writing for top gun, but i’ve been a fan my whole life and rooster struck inspiration in me. please let me know if anything is inaccurate here! i hope you enjoy, feel free to send in requests!
summary: during a training exercise, something goes wrong with your plane, and rooster panics
Tumblr media
the exercise was, quite frankly, supposed to be easy. when maverick had explained the objective to the class, you hadn’t been worried at all. not in the slightest. all you had to do was stay within however many feet of the cliffs, blah blah blah.
you’d been pushing yourself as far as you could, feeling a need to prove yourself to not only your classmates but to yourself. and, of course, to rooster.
your little crush on the lieutenant was supposed to be a secret, and it had been, up until phoenix had guessed about it. “so, rooster, huh?” she’d asked you one night at the bar with a smirk on her lips.
“hm?” you’d hummed, trying to pretend that you hadn’t almost spat out your drink.
she laughed. “i won’t say anything. you are blushing, though.”
“no i am not.”
the conversation had ended there, with her laughing at you and you hiding behind your martini glass. rooster was your friend, and he had been since pretty much your first day. training with the best of the best, yourself included, made it sometimes difficult to meet people that weren’t shallow, or in their heads.
that much you realized pretty quickly with guys like hangman, who could only be admired for their skill. as soon as the man opened his mouth, though, your admiration would decimate.
rooster, however, you admired for everything. he was not only a brilliant pilot, but a brilliant man. you’d never been blind to how attractive he was, what with the aviators perched on his nose and a smirk on his lips. but after having endless conversations (often drunk) with the man, you had undoubtedly developed a crush on him.
the same man stood next to you grumbling, some complaint or other about maverick not trusting him enough to let him fly. you had, honestly, zoned rooster out, more focused on grabbing your helmet. “vix, are you even listening to me?”
vixen had been your call sign for years, and it seemed it would remain so until you made some extremely embarrassing move or other. the vixen and the phoenix, you and the other girl in the squadron would frequently joke.
“what?” you turned to look at him, realizing that you’d been completely off in your own train of thought. “oh, yeah, yeah, mav holding you back, whatever.”
he sighed. “come on, i know i talk about it a lot, but it’s frustrating, vix!”
you nodded. “yeah, i sure bet it is.” your tone was enough to tell him that you were focused on something else, and you caught him furrowing his brows out of the corner of your eye.
“you okay?” he then asked, leaning on the locker next to yours. “you just.. you seem distracted today.”
with a shake of your head, you turned to look back at him. “i’m just.. i don’t know. i’m tired, i guess.” you lied. you’d been thinking about him. truth be told, you were thinking about how to tell him the truth. how do you admit your feelings to someone who is so close to you? if your feelings weren’t reciprocated, you worried about the awkwardness that would undoubtedly ensue.
rooster only nodded. “okay. well, good luck up there, okay?” he patted your shoulder, which made you give him a tight lipped smile. a pat on the shoulder, really? “if anyone can clip mav’s wings, it’s gonna be you.”
“haha, very funny.” you replied, tossing your gear over your shoulder and walking with him to the landing pad that your plane resided on. “alright, wizzo.” you said over your shoulder, letting your weapon systems officer climb in before you followed suit, putting your helmet on. you’d nicknamed him this months prior, insisting that ‘wso’ was too much of a mouthful.
you were up in the air in no time, and you were still feeling pretty good about the exercise. maybe that was in vain, or perhaps you yourself were vain and overconfident in your abilities. whatever it was, you felt that it was smooth sailing as you entered the sky with hangman in front of you.
“anyone have sights on mav?” you asked after hovering for a minute, looking at the sky above you.
wizzo shifted behind you. “nah, i don’t see him.”
almost as soon as the words left his mouth, the third plane sped between you both, making you laugh. “okay, so he’s in a good mood today.” you joked, preparing to follow him. “hangman, what’s the plan?”
the other lieutenant didn’t reply, and moved on his own to try to beat your captain. you cursed under your breath, but got the hint and circulated the perimeter of the area, trying to get to a vantage point.
“we’re on our own again.” wizzo commented.
you nodded. “yep, but are we surprised? hangman keeps us hanging.” you said, knowing that both he and the pilots waiting for you on the aircraft carrier could hear you. “okay, all we have to do is get behind him, keep and eye out for him.”
“aye-aye.” he replied, and you moved up slightly.
the next five or ten minutes (or maybe it was a full life time, you honestly had no idea) were going decently. then, next thing you knew, hangman was in front of you.
“oh, look who decided to show up?” you spoke sarcastically, looking over at his plane. you hadn’t even noticed the disturbance in the atmosphere, and if you had then likely none of it would’ve happened.
you kept flying, attempting to get through hangman and to maverick, who seemed to be aimlessly flying about, yet you knew the man to have tricks up his sleeves. you were so preoccupied with trying to get over to the captain that, again, you paid no attention to anything.
honestly, you figured that it would impress rooster. well, it would impress everyone. but it would especially impress him, who had been hell bent on trying to beat maverick at his own game, make the captain do his own set of push ups.
and so, you kept flying. straight into the wake turbulence that you should’ve noticed, and would’ve noticed had you not been preoccupied in your own thoughts.
“hey, vixen?” you heard from behind you. “uh.. i think we just lost an engine.”
you could barely respond before everything on your control panel seemed to go red. “shit shit shit.”
the plane was still in the air, but an engine had certainly suffered some sort of flameout on its right side. “starboard’s out.” you said. “i think we can still try to land it.”
you tossed random instructions over your shoulder to wizzo, trying to ignore the sounds of maverick calling for you. you were determined to land the plane.
“vixen, you can’t save it.” he finally said.
next thing you knew, the plane had begun spinning midair. “shit!” you cursed. “wiz, i’m gonna open the canopy, eject now.”
the man behind you effortlessly ejected from the plane, his parachute activating. meanwhile, you were stuck with some sort of issue in your handles. “shit, shit..”
you struggled for a moment before finally being released from the plane, just in time to watch it spin out and crash into the side of one of the mountains below you.
when you arrived back at the landing pad, you had one hand on your helmet and one pressed to your head. you weren’t injured, and thankfully neither was your wso. your ego, however, was bruised, and you were beyond frustrated with yourself. it should’ve been easy, what had gone wrong?
your plan to avoid everyone for the rest of the night was stopped short as you saw a man running to you. of course he was.
rooster stopped as soon as he was close enough to hug you, pulling you into his arms and resting his chin on your head. “are you okay?” he asked after a minute, his grip on you, if anything, getting tighter. “we were all listening to you, and then you just.. you cut out, and all we could hear was maverick and..”
“i’m okay, roost.” you assured him, but you didn’t attempt to pull away from his embrace. “i just.. i don’t know what went wrong.”
he scoffed. “hangman is what went wrong. that asshole left you stranded, and then you-“
“no,” you shook your head, finally loosening your arms, “no, he.. he came back, and he must’ve had some sort of turbulence because next thing i knew the engine was blown.”
rooster’s body seemed to stiffen. he didn’t talk much about his past, and you didn’t quite blame him. he was easy to read, though, which often proved awkward when it came to fights between him and maverick. the entire group of you knew that something had happened to his father, but he was never willing to say anything about it.
which is why it shocked you when he cleared his throat. “that’s what.. that’s what happened to my dad.” he said, watching as your eyes shot up to his in surprise. “wake turbulence. engine shot. his head must’ve hit the canopy, or something, when he was ejecting because..”
you frowned. “i’m so sorry-“
he cut you off. “no, it’s just.. i’m okay. i just- i guess i don’t..” he struggled with his words. “i don’t think i could lose you, y/n. even if not like that, i just.. i don’t think i could lose you. period.”
you couldn’t recall if he’d ever called you by your name.
“it might be selfish to.. to have done so, but i have developed this.. huge.. these feelings for you.” he continued. “and i didn’t think i was ever going to have to admit that, but you almost didn’t come back to this base, and i just..” he looked anywhere but you, frowning. “i don’t think i could ever forgive myself if you never got to know how deeply i care about you.”
honestly, your mouth felt completely dry, and you had no idea what to say. for a moment you stood there, your feet glued to the ground. then you moved closer to him, and your hand moved up to his cheek. his gaze then finally met yours, and you swore you could feel him leaning into your touch.
“i care about you a lot, too.” you said, scanning his eyes for any sort of reaction.
it took him a second to smile (or was it a smirk?), and then he was pulling you in by the waist, and then his lips were on yours. the kiss was shorter than you would’ve expected from him, and you pulled away with your face still seemingly shocked, which made him laugh. “for once, you don’t have anything to say?” he commented.
you rolled your eyes. “big talk, bradshaw, big talk.”
he was about to move in for what you hoped was another kiss when you heard whooping and hollering in the distance. you both turned to look at your teammates, who were all watching you with smiles on their faces.
“i’m so glad it finally happened!” bob was cheering, his smile only widening when a few people around him handed him twenty dollar bills.
“you made a bet?” you asked, putting a hand up to shield your eyes from the sun.
“no, i won a bet.” the lieutenant replied, counting his money with a triumphant grin.
you looked up at rooster, who was chuckling. “this is gonna be fun, isn’t it?” he asked as he looked back down at you.
“oh, for sure. we’re professionals.” you replied, but you wasted no time in stealing your second kiss from him.
