Ugh ur messages always make me giggle & smile

In chapter 52 of TFL (or whichever is titled; The Resolve) the reader asks Choso abt Gojo & planned on getting info out of Cho abt the list (kinda like how she questioned Nanami previously) but she doesn’t get to ask him about that bc Choso quickly puts two and two together and asks her if Gojo is the guy who he’s been competing with all this time.

Their convo goes unanswered tho bc Choso says what he doesn’t know won’t hurt him but deep down, he knew— hence why in this whatif he asked if Gojo used to fuck her ^.^

ALSO, I’m thinkin of doing a lil side blurb for their phone call just cause. Plus, I don’t see Choso & Gojo interacting in the manga/anime or even in people’s fanfics tht often so this is very fun for me to do honestly (:

So! Finally caught up on opm manga!!! Gotta say I’ve loved these last few chapters and I missed reading it so much, college has taken away the time to read my fav series regularly :( Anyway, my thoughts aren’t completely sorted yet but I’ll say a few things! (MANGA AND WEBCOMIC SPOILERS BEWARE)

1. OH MY GODDDD the Blast reveal about why he’s been away? So fucking cool!! It’s weird bc that’s like the one thing I haven’t been spoiled on lately so it was a fun reveal and makes me extra interested in his character and where he’ll go from here, especially when Blue gets introduced.

2. OH MY GOD GENOS BEING A LITTLE SHIT AT THE MEETING AND EVERYONE BEING LIKE ‘this bitch is gay’ WAS EVERYTHING IVE EVER WANTED OH MY GODDDD. Also, the way everyone played off of each other in the meeting, especially Genos being a snarky bitch to everyone and Zombieman trying to mediate was so funny. I love Genos oh my FUCKCJCJCJX 😭😭😭😭🧎🏻🧎🏻🧎🏻🧎🏻

3. AND THE FUBUKI AND PSYKOS FLASHBACKS?? So impressed with the way Murata has really brought One’s art to life in his own way once again! Amazing work, and I won’t mention the gay shit between them bc that’s all I’ve been talking about lately. I will say, I was worried the Psykos and Fubuki fight had been cut out or something but I gotta say, making it a short flashback that also foreshadowed God was genius and a great solution to having the fight without conflating the MA battle even more.

4. Arguably one of the biggest deviations from the wc, Tatsumaki herself. Seeing that her fight with Fubuki over Psykos is now “staged” in some way bc of Tatsumaki, it absolutely drives another wedge between wc Tatsu and manga Tatsu as completely different people. In the wc, the fight over Psykos was extreme and Tatsumaki put Fubuki down more than usual, threatening to seclude her and it painted her as overprotective and downright cruel. I imagine that she’ll still play up the whole mean vibe as an act, but that’s just it! The fact that she isn’t going to plain kill Psykos out of the whole “she must die because I say so” idea, even tho she has another idea with what to do psykos in relation to the ones who once experimented on Tatsu completely distinguishes her as the kinder, more well rounded Tatsumaki here, both because of her actions and the larger amount of insight into her past that we’re given in the manga. The only thing this will change, tho, is her fight with Saitama, which was born of pure anger because of his words that supported Fubuki and told Tatsu she was being shitty. Now that it’s an act, will she get as angry and do the whole side fight with him, or will he get involved bc of the Tskyuomi guy? (I’m sorry Idk how to spell it😭). If so, it won’t be bad, but I’m worried it won’t be as good as the og fight, that one’s a classic.

Regardless of changes, I’m so so interested in the way this arc is going down and the way the changes of the MA battle are making bigger and bigger ripples! Also, sorry for being so MIA, promise I’ll try to talk to some of my mutuals and asks and stuff, y’all are very fun to talk to and I feel mad at myself for not finding more time to exist in the community again :(

little update <3

hello people! i know, it’s been a long time since i posted anything. i’ve always been here tho! just reading one shots and fanfics and liking lots of pics and gifs that i have to tag and organize, it’s gonna take me a while lmao. 

i do have some plans on what to do here now. i’m experimenting with my writing and such, i found out i feel more comfortable writing here than on wattpad for some reason (which is the place i started off on). my only real problem is that i procrastinate a lot and get bored fast of what i’m doing 😩 hopefully this won’t happen, but i’ll just take my time anyway. 

i’d also like to say that i still love gmw, i’ll never stop enjoying it and there’s no way i’d ever get rid of all those papers with the analyses i put together in 2020, took me too much time for me to do so 💀 

i just got back into one direction, which has always been a band i really loved even though i never properly got into and engaged with the fandom before last year (ngl you guys scare me sometimes). but as directioners say “it’s never a phase, it’s a lifestyle”, yep, that’s me. they never really left, their music was always there for me whenever i needed it. 

i also recently got into 5sos more, trying to get into the fandom so hi! nice to meet you all, i first learned about the boys in 2017 through a cover of “she looks so perfect”. since then i haven’t really listened to their music much but like i said, i’m currently getting into it more and more. my favorite songs at the moment are disconnected, older, youngblood, ghost of you and lover of mine :) OH and i also got into miss taylor swift!! we stan a queen. i’m slowly listening to all her discography and damn, she’s written so many songs (all very lovely tho).

in the meantime i’ve read a ridiculous amount of books and mangas. i’m not sure wether i want to make reviews and such since i genuinely don’t think i’m that good at it, but we’ll see.

The End Of My Candy Love

Warning!

Alright, so. This post will contain a lot. First of all, it's gonna be really sloppy. I'm very emotional person and I easily get attached to games, movies and stuff. I know it's a bit weird, but yeah, I'm a weird person. Anyway, that's why there's a warning: there's gonna be a lot of sloppiness, grammar mistakes (at least I think so, specially since english isn't my native languange) and it's probably going to be long. So, if you're intrested in reading my thoughts about everything - good luck.

First Adventure

I first heard about "My Candy Love" in 2015, six years ago. So, I was basically a baby (I'm pretty young). And I started playing a year after, I got totally obssesed with Lysander and I fell in love, seriously, haha. I was into writing back then, but I couldn't find any ideas on "what to write?" and MCL gave me just that - inspiration (that's most likely why I'm just a romance freak).

My Story

You know, I was a child so I couldn't really pay for AP, but I always found some kind of way to get them. But then I got my phone I just used money from that, geez, I was nuts. The old AP system was so iconic, looking for Nathaniel, finding Kiki, I'm gonna miss it.

Anyway, I got along with Castiel pretty well (which suprises me 'cause I found about walkthroughs in 2017, like year after, so maybe it was because I was a brat?), but I adored Lysander. Oh, I also loved Ken (I was so sad when he went away) and Nathaniel. After I met Armin, I liked him too.

Again, being a child and playing a game like this I came across all diffrent kinds of emotions. I was laughing, crying, dying from embaressment (this thing with Nath and locker room, aaa) and getting seriously mad (Deborah's arc, Priya, Charlotte). I remember impatiently waiting for new episode to come out or crying my eyes out during Lysander's amnesia plot. Jesus. I loved the way Castiel was teasing Candy, I loved this cute-clumsy Kentin, I loved the old Nathaniel, I loved Armin and most of all - I loved my precious Lysander. I adored the interactions between characters, how funny or cringy they were and how much fun I had. I even like this secret-dating plot even when it got on my nerves. I still remember staying up late to watch videos like "lysander illustrations" and stuff. I also really enjoyed reading MCL manga and I spent hours trying to translate it from Spanish to English or my native languange (funfact: I still haven't finished it! I don't know where to find those mangas) or trying to draw something from the game up ending up terribly failing. Anyway, I was crying during the prom thing, my Candy was so grown-up, I got emotional, haha. So, 40 episode came in. I was pretty excited 'because, me, being extremely naive (I got to say, I've never had a problem with Beemoov before, I started playing MCL in 2016 and Eldarya in 2017, so there were no major issues with them, only the price of PA, I think) thought that my Lysander is going to propose (I was a child, ok?) and maybe, there's going to be a second season with us living together. Haha, how naive I was. Whole episode 40, really got me tearing up, I was a wreck, seriously (When Kentin couldn't take Candy's bra off I lost it or this whole ananas thing in Castiel's route, omg). But I finished it feeling happy. I truly enjoyed spending my time on this game. But, then this whole university thing came out. And the fact, that Lysander, Armin and Kentin won't be with us foe the next season. I spent entire vacation crying (I was a kiddo, ok?) and being mad at everyone. I felt like I got robbed. It was horrible.

"A New Chapter"

I was one of these people who just couldn't accept the change. Not in the world. Never. They stole my Lysander, Kentin and Armin from me and changed AP system to some kind of bullshit. God, I was mad. Really mad. Seeing Castiel was quite nice, but I didn't fill the void of my baby. But, oh, my, God. When I saw Nathaniel I just couldn't believe. I said I was mad? Then I was furious. I really liked the old Nathaniel, he had his own vibe, his backstory, his character and it was just, damn, amazing. But they changed him completely, for what? They wanted the second Castiel? Yeah, they got it. Priya as a love interest was quite a good move, tho. I even though I didn't like her (in highschool or in university) I liked the idea of adding a female interest. But the thing that hurted me, was the fact that Lysander was taking care of the farm. Like, no! He didn't want that. He didn't like the countryside. He had such a potential to become a author and Beemoov didn't let him. God, that broke my heart. Anyway, I didn't spent a single penny on MCLUL, but I have to say - I kinda enjoyed it. You know, it was the guily-pleasure kind of thing. I didn't like it as much as I liked highschool, but there were some good or funny moments. I loved Rayan's kiss scene. I adored Chani. Or Hyun making us watch "Toy Story". Nathaniel's ulgy green hair or all these crazy threesomes. I liked it. Kinda. I hated Nath tho. The ending, hm, it was okay, I guess? I do feel sort of nostalgic thinking about it 'cause I got some nice memories from it, in the end. But yeah, going on.

Love Life

Oh. My. Lord. I was so sceptical about it. Like, I was sure that, at this point they're going to do "My Candy Love Mid-Life Crises" next or some other shit. But in the end, I "kinda" like it. It wasn't good like highschool or fresh like university, but I was nice to see new chapters with our annoying-cringy Candy, that I love (btw, I started playing other otome games and I realized that Candy wasn't that bad). Meeting Eric was nice, even tho, this whole cheating plot really got me ragging. Like, damn, Beemoov, seriously? And if you going this, why not with old LIs? Just kidding. Anyway, I truly enjoyed meeting Dan and Eric, the two of them were quite a characters. I won't forget them, hah. I was happy with single ending, 'cause I think about it as a "open ending" when my Candy can go back to my baby and everything's going to be alright.

Regrets & Complaints

Now, now. Where do I start? AP system was a freaking nightmare. Replacing old Nathaniel with some kind of weird Castiel was a nightmare. Removing Lysander, Nathaniel, Armin and Kentin was a nightmare. Not finishing plots was a nightmare. And why in the whole Love Life I haven't seen Amber once? Why Alexy never mentioned Evan like they're not brothers? Why Castiel doesn't care that I was dating his bestfriend? And why, in the world, after changing the system finding Kiki is so damn easy? Why AP is so expensive? So many questions!

All The Good Times

But, I got to say. I will never forget this bitchy Castiel, cookie-monster Ken following us around. Or cute Nathaniel. Castiel buying Candy some kind of weird McDonald's. Or Lysander's parents exposing him having crush on Candy. Or seeing Kentin kissing Amber (ew). This super akward-funny sex ed lesson. Deborah's arc and losing my shit over it. Or Thomas (this weird child) stalking my Candy and her LI in the park. And Lysander asking us how to hide a body, aaa. Or Armin telling us he loves us. Or Kentin. And Cookie ripping this huge teddybear apart. Or the water fight in Kentin’s spin off. And crushing on Alexy and later on finding out he’s gay. Or spin-the-bottle game and Lysander getting jealous. Or Dake, being a creep for entire game straight. Or guessing what was guy's surnames. And for sure, I will never forget this demonic Kiki dog.

What it worth it?

In the end, yes. Have I ever told you that I want to become a professional writer? Silly dream, I know, but writing is a huge passion of mine, and well, my first story was based off My Candy Love (it is cringy as hell, but I feel kinda nostalgic thinking about it). All these years spending on playing game that I wasn't supposed to be playing was amazing. It was one of the best experiences I had in life and I will never, ever forget that.

What now?

Well, Beemoov is working on a new game and I'm kinda optimistic. I know, it's really naive of me, but I want to believe that they won't f*ck this up, this time. And going back to Sweet Amoris, well, I truly missed this place! And the teachers... And Kiki. I wonder, when it will be released and will Beemoov finally open up about telling us surnames and ages of love interests. Anyway, I want to believe they learnt from their mistakes.

In the end. Thank you, My Candy Love, for creating so many memories. I will be forever grateful. 

(I just re-read this post and it seems like I have really love-hate relationship with this game)

Okay. Okay. I remember seeing the Adam vs Zeus fight on youtube (the manga, way before the anime came out) and I saved it to my watch later because it looked cool. But then I never got around to watching it and I'm so fucking upset I didn't because wow, did I miss out on something great. I wouldn't go so far as to call it a masterpiece but I have never felt actual hype and excitement go through my system from reading a manga before. Because at the end of the day, it's still pictures right? What's there to be excited for? Nah, this manga came in and bitch slapped me across the face for thinking that because I can literally feel myself getting pumped for each fight. I'm actually a fan of the tournament arc style even though I know people think of it as filler. I'm pretty simple so while deep emotional storylines are cool and all, I just want to see people fight okay?? And I think this is THE BEST example of how to write a fight.

I will say tho. Almost every fight I wanted the other person to win even though, in my heart, I knew it would be the opposite. In the first fight with Lu bu and Thor, I didn't really care too much about who won since it was my first time reading. Plus, I kinda knew the Gods had to take the first round since you know. Plot and stuff. BUT WOW I WANTED ADAM TO WIN SO FUCKING BADLY. WHAT A GOOD DAD- I WOULD DIE FOR HIM. But I knew in my god damn heart that he wasn't going to because he was versing Zeus. He went out swinging and I salute him. I know the manga isn't complete yet but I have a feeling that the Gods might win but realize that while humanity has its fault, it did create some amazing people and humanity survives another 1000 years. Just to have another Ragnarok by the end of it. Or at least, that's what I'm hoping for lol. Maybe humanity get's wiped the fuck out or we actually win. I'm super excited either way.

Also speaking of brunhilde. I LOVE HER. She reminds me of Tanya but I love hearing her cuss out and god, her attitude and personality. I love her okay? I love all the crazy expressions that are drawn and holy shit the art style???? I love how the author draws eyes (adam...so pretty). I'm gonna find out where I can buy volumes to support the author and I almost never do that. That's how much I love this series.

But yeah getting back on track. I was confused as to why people were raving about Poseidon because I heard he was a fucking piece of shit (and he is) but I've been infected with the curse because he is so pretty. Be still my beating heart and I lowkey wanted him to win even tho Kojiro is such a g and I was cheering for him in my heart. I think I'm seeing a trend of really liking blond, emotionless, I'm good at everything men. Cough Albedo cough.

I've heard such good things about Jack vs Hercules but I haven't gotten to there yet but I have some idea of what might happen. Plus I found it weird that Hercules was going to be fighting since wasn't he like...sorta human but did his 12 labours to ascend? I don't know, I'm just ready for an emotional time and for Hercules to be the biggest sweetheart ever.

hahaha I’m sure he must have freaked out on them at some point after that, and bakugou must have done the same (probably with jirou, less likely but more hilarious with todoroki or tokoyami haha) - though, the original idea came from a bigger one where the scene in the comic didn’t bring them anywhere closer to getting together (or figuring out they’re into each other, for the matter lmao idiots) maybe one day I’ll get back on that >:]

andro!!! do you have any favorite mangakas?

hi kaia! i have lots!! i really enjoy reading manga and reflecting over my feelings with it hehe also, warning! i've rambled here so it's long hahah!

the first on my list would be ONE, the creator of one punch man and mob psycho 100! some don't like his art but i like it! i'm currently reading the ones he's drawn. it mixes well with his wholesome-ish writing! i'm obsessed with his stories, the way he can turn something so shounen/fantasy/adventure into a slice of life that makes me feel like i've healed or learned a really good lesson (shounen/seinen)

Tatsuki Fujimoto comes in second! he's known more as chainsaw man's mangaka but i've read almost all his oneshots and his other series, fire punch. i don't know how to explain this but his works can be quite vulgar/indecent (so um beware!) but it doesn't give off those ecchi vibes you know? they just feel normal and aside from his fascinating storytelling, i love that about his works! one of my favorite oneshots of his is about two sisters in an art school and the younger one had painted a nude of the older sister, and as a rule of the school, they would display the best painting for a month i think. and i thought id find it repulsive (you see i even try to read things i think i might hate haha) but it was somehow sweet? (shounen/seinen)

i find Jun Mayuzuki's after the rain and kowloon generic romance's very impressive too!! especially the way she wrote after the rain, a story about a 17 year old girl who's in love with the manager from her part time job, a 40 something divorced man. i dont want to spoil anything so all i can say is i really recommend reading it! i've watched the live-action, and am about to watch the anime. jun mayuzuki's art style is something to praise too!! i'm no good with art critiquing but i love her backgrounds so much! also, her kowloon generic romance gave me wong kar wai vibes!!! everytime i read a new chapter, an 80s citypop song would play in my head, too! (shoujo/josei)

next is Robico!!!! her popular work would be my little monster! but i haven't read that ^^ instead i've read an anthology by her and our precious conversations. i love love love her art style and her writing!! but what i love the most are the dialogues! they're not philosphical or anything supreme, but they're just normal conversations. i guess it must be because i miss going out and having actual face to face conversations with people that's why i've fallen for her dialogues. oh and i’m at awe with her oneshot collab with the mangaka for death note!! (shoujo) 

Tsubasa Yamaguchi is blue period's mangaka. i really enjoyed blue period because i was reading it while i was stressing over what i wanted to do after i graduated highschool. i never realized i've run out of time and i had to make a decision already, see? and reading blue period really comforted and calmed me! since tsubasa yamaguchi has also written the manga, i really really feel thankful for her writing! i love her art too! i've said this a lot of times too, probably, but i really love the shadows in her art! (seinen)

Kyoko Okazaki! myanimelist calls her one of the mothers of josei manga! her art style's attractive to me too! but what's more attractive are her characters!! her works contain fashion, homosexuality, drugs, sex (an awful lot, here’s an article i recently read about her). idk, i love the way she can write and draw these kinds of stories during the 80s. she rocks! (shoujo/josei)

there we have it, my top 5! recently though, i've been admiring the art in skip to loafer by Misaki Takamatsu! i like the expressions and the neat lines! i also like Kon Kumakura's female characters and art style, but you'll barely find translated versions of her works. and Akimi Yoshida, creator of banana fish! i've read a few 80s to 90s manga and sometimes their art style is a bit too messy and crowded for me but i love love hers! it's neat! i haven't read banana fish tho, i've read kisshou tennyo!

You woke up and took a shower, as you were getting ready you decided to text Asahi to let him know what you were up to

y/n: Hey Asahi, i'm going out for brunch with a friend, hope you had a good practice and tell the team i said hello :)

Asahi: Who's the friend? Do you have enough money? I can pick you up later if you need

y/n: it's Tendou, the red head we saw on moving day, he's on the boys Volleyball team, it's okay :)

Asahi: Text me after and keep your location on

y/n: i will, love you <3

Asahi: i love you too <3

You put on a black tennis skirt, white collared tee and an oversized navy blue sweater on top. You put on some simple jewellery and make up before tying your (h/l) (h/c) in a half up half down style. After checking yourself in the mirror you wondered if you were too dressed up. You heard a knock on your door which brought you out of your thoughts and you opened to see Tendou. He was wearing black dress pants, a striped long tee with a thin collared jacket and some rings on his hands. His hands. You noticed his defined hands and how attractive they looked decorated with rings.

"N/n-chan.." he pulled you out of your thoughts while he looked you up and down blushing

"Ten-chan, you look great! I thought i might've been dressed up but it seems we have similar style" you smiled sweetly at him, feeling your heart beating faster than usual.

"You look great too, shall we head out?" he smirked grabbing the door handle behind you and closing your dorm door.

The walk to the cafe earned you both many stares as people in the streets gawked at you both who seemed caught up in your own world.

Tendous POV

This was going to be harder than expected, he felt so carefree around you and he wanted to push his doubts away and trust you just wanted to be with him, friend or more, just him. But deep down he doubted you and he hated that he did. You were holding his arm walking, talking mindlessly about different topics, he watched as you rambled on and he felt comfortable being the less energetic friend for once. You matched his energy and for now he was satisfied seeing you be the ball of energy.

"Would you get any piercings ten-chan?" he snapped out of his thoughts and looked down at you who was still clinging to his arm.

"Oh i have my ears pierced i just haven't worn them in a while, see?" he showed the 3 holes in his earlobe and y/n looked up at him surprised with a smile.

"Woah, you should've worn them today" she looked up at him and he searched her eyes for any tell that she was joking, any sign that would give him an excuse to push her away, he found none. They arrived at the cafe and sat in a small booth by the window, the sun catching y/n's hair and making it seem to glow. Tendou looked in adoration as she read the menu, why did you have to be so cute, he was still prepared, prepared to hear you say it, to say that you weren't interested in him and wondered if Ushijima was single. He'd heard it all before and was no longer shocked at the lengths girls had gone to in order to try get with the captain.

"I'll have the french toast and fruit salad please" he looked up at you and realised he hadn't even read the menu yet.

"Uh me too, thank you" he said to the waitress before handing over the menu. He heard y/n chuckle from across the table and shot her a teasing glare.

You watched as Tendou seemed to zone out while staring at you, you wanted to know what he was thinking, after all, being the only two in your dorm building would be difficult if you weren't friends.

"Tendou, are you alright?" you asked sweetly

"I'm great n/n-chan, are you?" he looked relaxed but his eyes gave away that he was avoiding something, he wouldn't even look directly at you

"Sorry if i'm wrong, but i've noticed you tense up a lot and zone out, are you sure you want to hang out with me?" He looked into her eyes and once again saw nothing but sincerity, he was so worried about her using him he had barely spoken to her all day, he hadn't even been trying to consciously push her away but it had become habit. He felt awful

"What? You're amazing i'm just, i guess i was wondering why you wanted to be friends with me" he started twirling the rings on his fingers

"Oh c'mon don't doubt yourself, you're so nice and always take me to practice, plus you're the first friend i've made at this school and your style matches mine, it was just made to be" you said dramatically, looking at the ceiling. He laughed and felt his worry release.

Back at the dorms you asked Tendou what he liked to do and he started talking to you about Shounen Jump, he seemed so excited and you wanted to share that with him

"Could i maybe borrow yours and read it?" you asked

"Yes i'll go get it right now!" his face lit up and he ran off to his dorm room, after a few minutes he ran back and handed it to you, you laughed at his excitement.

"You're beautiful you know that?" he said staring down at you, you blushed and looked up at him not knowing how to respond, before you could he went back to his dorm with a smirk on his face.

y/n: Asahi i'm back at the dorms

Asahi: are you okay? how was brunch?

y/n: it started off a little rocky but it was really fun :)

Asahi: that's great, do you want me to come visit you tomorrow?

y/n: if you're free that'd be cool, i have a question tho

Asahi: what's up?

y/n: back at the dorms Tendou called me beautiful and then just walked away..

Asahi: you cannot get a boyfriend after a week of school y/n

y/n: i never said anything like that

Asahi: introduce me to him tomorrow okay?

y/n: ugh okay, bye <3

Asahi: goodbye <3

You changed into some shorts and top before lying in bed and reading shounen jump. You heard knocking on your door but you snuggled deeper into your bed. You don't remember falling asleep but you remember you were almost finished shounen jump at some ungodly hour in the morning. Asahi was knocking on your door and calling out to you

"y/n open the door" he groaned as he'd been waiting for 10 minutes now

Tendou had woken up to the banging down the hallway and looked out to see Asahi outside your door. He made eye contact with the male and started to worry as he walked towards him, he assumed this was your brother but he seemed frustrated.

"Hi..um Tendou? is it?" he rubbed the back of his neck as he spoke to the redhead

"Yep, you're y/n's brother right? the ace?" Asahi looked up at him and smiled,

"Haha yeah i guess, is y/n in her dorm?" he asked

"Yeah she should be" Tendou said before walking towards your dorm with Asahi following. He knocked on the door and heard some shuffling before y/n opened the door.

"Asahi can you relax i'm coming-" you looked up and saw Tendou and blushed before you saw Asahi behind him

"Oh sorry, um, come in" you moved out of the way and they both walked in, Asahi watched tendou before he wrapped you in a bear hug, suffocating you.

"Asahi- let go" you squirmed and laughed as he put you down. Tendou was sitting by your desk holding his shounenjump manga and watching you, he saw how cute you looked in your pyjamas and he smirked, admiring you.

"N/n-chan, did you start reading it yet?" he said snapping you and Asahi out of your greetings.

"I actually finished it last night, that's why i was still asleep this morning" you smiled at him blushing, Asahi noticed.

"n/n-chan?" Asahi looked between you and Tendou.

You both just laughed and Tendou was smiling like crazy, ushiwaka had never read shounen jump and he never had anyone to discuss it with.

Tendou left and you and Asahi started talking

"so y/n, that's Tendou" he started the conversation

"yep, do you like him?" you asked nervously

"well do you?" he suggestively asked, you slapped his arm and rolled your eyes

"We're just friends Asahi, don't worry" you rolled your eyes at him

"But about what i said, he called me beautiful...what do you think he meant?" you looked up at Asahi

"I think he likes you, please get to know him more though, i barely even know him" Asahi sounded protective but you knew he was a big softie that would support you no matter what.

"Thanks Asahi" you smiled

After Asahi left you caught up on some homework, watching more anime than working and took a shower.

Over the next few weeks Tendou let you borrow his Jump magazines and you discussed them when going to and from practice. One of his practice matches was coming up and he invited you to come watch him play, you accepted of course.

At training he would always put his arm around you when talking to his teammates and Semi, the setter, seemed to find it amusing how smug he acted around them. You didn't mind, you enjoyed talking to the boys team and you noticed when tendou would tense up at the interactions you and Ushijima shared. You brushed it off and tried to avoid making Tendou uncomfortable.

At the practice match against some college team you sat with the girls volleyball club, next to Miki the captain and Yachi the setter. You stopped chatting when you noticed the boys team walk in, Tendou looked so laid back especially in comparison to Ushijima who looked more serious than usual, something you thought was impossible. Tendou looked up at you and dramatically waved while smiling, you laughed at him and waved back being just as dramatic. Yachi elbowed you lightly and raised her eyebrow suggestively, you rolled your eyes in return.

You watched as Tendous face changed when he made eye contact with the players in front of him, he was filled with so much intensity and he really did suit the name guess monster. Every spike he went to block he ended up killing it, he was insane. You smiled at him in amazement and he glanced up to see you looking at him from the stands, his heart fluttered and he stared back more demonic looking than ever.

They won both sets easily and as the game ended you ran down to the gym entrance ready to congratulate the team, particularly Tendou. You looked around for the tall redhead as Shirabu and Goshiki walked past, you smiled at them and gave them small congratulations as well as the rest of the team.

Finally Tendou began to approach you with Ushijima and you ran up to him and wrapped your arms around his neck giving him a hug and mumbling congratulations into his chest.

You stepped back after realising how long you'd been hugging him in front of the doorway and you looked up to see him blushing.

'cute' you thought.

"Thanks n/n-chan" he said and you smiled at Ushijima congratulating him too, he smiled back at you earning a shocked look from both you and Tendou.

You waited outside for Tendou to get changed and finish up with team, after he did you walked back towards the dorms. He noticed you started to shiver and he grabbed your hand, enveloping your smaller one in his much larger one. You looked up at him and grabbed his arm, cuddling into his side with your head resting on his shoulder as you walked. Both of you lightly blushing and enjoying each other's company.

"Y/n, do you wanna go out with me this weekend?" Tendou asked squeezing your hand lightly

"Yeah sure where do you wanna go?" you replied obviously not realising what he meant. You both hung out together often and went to the cafe down the road several times a week, but Tendou wanted to take you on a date.

"I was thinking dinner in Tokyo, there's a nice restaurant near my mums work, i've been there before and the prices aren't too bad" he hand subconsciously brought his hands into his jacket pockets, bringing yours with his, you blushed at the gesture.

"Wow Tokyo, that's fancy, are you gonna propose?" you beamed at him dramatically while giggling. He smirked at you and you answered 'yes of course' and you arrived at the dorms a few minutes later.

"Well goodnight n/n-chan thank you for coming to the game" he took his hands out his pockets and noticed he was still holding yours.

"Of course, you really were incredible out there" you said and hugged him again. You felt him tense up against you and you pulled back not wanting to make him uncomfortable but his hands snaked around your waist and pulled you back in as he held your head. You wrapped your arms around him and smiled into his chest.

"Goodnight ten-chan" you looked up at him before walking back to your dorm room feeling excited for your date in the city. A date. You hadn't confirmed if it was a date or not, you didn't want to assume so you decided to text him after your shower.

y/n: Hey Tendou

Tendou: Already miss me?

y/n: shut up

Tendou: hahaha whats up?

y/n: so this weekend..is it a date?

Tendou: Do you want it to be?

y/n: Do you have you answer everything with a question :(

Tendou: Alright, lets call it a date :)

y/n: okay :)), also i finished your other shounen jump can i borrow the next one pleaaseee <3

Tendou: Of course n/n-chan, i can bring it over now if you're too impatient to wait ;)

Not long after their conversation y/n heard a knock on her door and she opened it excitedly and invited Tendou inside. He stood awkwardly by her desk while she grabbed his last copy

"Tendou.." you looked at him with a scared expression and he began to worry

"please tell me he isn't dead" you looked up at him dramatically while gripping his weekly jump copy. He relaxed and began to laugh at you, he'd never had anyone to discuss his interests with besides volleyball, and with you he could discuss both freely.

"You'll have to find out-" he was cut off by your snatching the next copy out of his hands and running to your bed, he giggled and began to leave when you looked up at him

"Don't you wanna see if he dies?" you knew he knew the outcome but you wanted to talk to him about it and he knew this too, he turned around and hesitantly sat on ur bed and watched you read.

After a while Tendou was sitting against your headboard and you were in between his legs with your back to his chest reading the manga. He was following along the storyline occasionally and playing with your hair absentmindedly. It was around 3am when he noticed you slump further down, you had fallen asleep.

He watched for a while as you slept in his arms, your chest rising a falling peacefully, he knew he should head back to his room so you wouldn't be startled when you woke up so he lay you down under the covers and grabbed the manga from your hand placing it next to your bed. He pressed a small kiss to the top of your head before returning to his room and falling asleep.

i wrote soo much ahaha. like however much you think i wrote, i wrote more than that. imo everything i write is gold though

1. are you going to buy the new pack (cottage living) when it comes out? no, it looks really nice but i legit never ever buy packs at launch, especially cause this one is a expansion and it will probably go on sale at some point

2. do you p*rate your dlc or buy it legitimately? buy it legitimately 👌

3. what’s your favorite world? brindleton bay, it gives like seaside cottage vibes. willow creek is good but it’s boring. 

4. if you use a queue, how many posts per day do you set it as? 3 or 4. i used to do like 12 lmaoo what even was wrong with me

5. do you watch sims on youtube? yes, i watch mainly malixa, oshinsims, and msgryphi

6. what are your thoughts on the most recent pack? (dream home decorator) those sectional couches look good! but honestly im kinda annoyed because now it’s even harder to have all the items filled in when i place lots from the gallery. like i’m just saying like a lot of builds will use that pack probably and if i don’t get it then i can’t really use builds/save files

9. is your simblr your sideblog or main blog? main blog ✌️ my old blog @stardze​ is a main blog as well.

my old old simblr was a sideblog but it had like 1 follower and it literally a bot so i don’t think that counts. i have a multifandom sideblog though 

10. do you have a cc finds blog? i wish. i was thinking bout it earlier and that would be sooo neat but sometimes i download stuff that doesn’t have a tumblr post attached to it, and also it’s stressful to keep up with so nah

11. are you wcif friendly? yes sir. in fact i bring the trouble of wcifs onto myself but doing them even when nobody asked.

12. what’s your favorite sized household to play with? (ex. 1 sim, 4 sims) gonna have to think on this one, honestly 1 sim is really fun and stuff goes by so fast. doing stuff with astrid when she was on her own, it was much more efficient. 

for families, i haven’t done that in a while actually. 5, 2 parents and 3 kids is cute tho. why did i write this this is honestly such a hard question

13. if you have c&d, do you play with pets? i feel like i haven’t played with cats and dogs in forever. honestly i just have no paitence. noelle fae was supposed to get a cat (there’s a food bowl + cat bed in her house) but when summer vacation started, the amount of time i spent playing ts4 decreased a lot. (this doesn’t really make sense, i have a lot more time. honestly it just has to do with my recent obsession with a certain anime/manga and some other personal thing)

i did random nightmares in may though and i had pets frequently. g5 didn’t because sofia scarlett lived in an apartment, but g2/3/4 had cici, and g1 had all the cats. but that was back in march so it’s been a while.

14. what lifespan do you use? i really want to do aging off but then i feel like it drags on. but aging legit stresses me out, sometimes i just want to sit down and do some cas stuff but i only have 2 hours in real time and there’s like 4 days left till one of my sims’ birthdays. 

15. if you own a lot of packs, how many of them have you actually played through? just so everyone is aware this question was made for me

i feel like eps require a specific save made for testing them out, but the only save i’ve ever made for an ep is noelle fae’s get famous save. 

that is literally a lie - i made a save for island living with one of my 100bc kids, maisie acapella. i did actually post it on tumblr BUT then i deleted all the posts BUT i reblogged them on my alt account BUT i privated my alt account so i honestly forgot about it

i have never played through discover university or watched anyone do it on youtube, i’ve read gerbits’ story about it so i think i’m pretty qualified. i’ve always wanted to do one with periwinkle acapella but i never got around to it

i tried doing a eco life playthrough but i hadn’t watched any videos and i was like..what is going on. so i quit lolx d ;;;;; i mentioned it but the whimsy stories legacy was the first time i had played with the eco lifestyle features so technically i think i know what im doing

i got outdoor retreat literally on monday of this week so i haven’t played through it yet. 

jungle adventure i still don’t know what’s going on. i remember last year before i bought the pack i was brainstorming, and wanted to do a ja playthrough with luna and cedar, who are a couple who i did a random legacy with and it was all queued to post when i deleted everything (if you’re wondering why, it’s because my queue was literally 200+ posts). except this time i didn’t save them to my sideblog so i lost them. 

i still havent had a restaurant in dine out 

also never did the vet thing from cats and dogs

i have no idea what that rock climbing thing is from snowy escape but i did most of the other stuff because rn g5

city living i did through psc stage 5 and also it was the first pack i bought anyways

the rest of them are either stuff packs or i ended up playing them through casual gameplay (seasons, parenthood)

i do appreciate that most cc hairs have a true (ish) black, thank god! and the fact that the hair update is what inspired me to update and fix a bunch of hairs with different issues is pretty nice. but will i use them? no. 

plus it takes up like 5 gb? depending on how many packs you have.

noelle is blonde and has blue-grey eyes. she wears purple contacts pretty often though (because she wants to 😌)

alari has light brown hair that is kinda curly, and she’s got pretty vibrant blue eyes. 

they’re sisters, alari is 3 years older than noelle. noelle was 19 and alari was 22 when they got spotted

they worked as models when they were young adults. their jobs involved dyeing their hair blue/pink, and they would model like clothes and stuff. anyways, they were pretty successful. like not ultra famous but they had enough money to not work for the rest of their lives. 

their modeling group was made of 4 girls, the others were named paisley autumn and they were green and red, respectively. some things are: 

paisley and alari started dating during this 

autumn was a single mother to a little girl named destiny

noelle dated many people during this but never ended up finding the one <3

when their contract ended after like 6 years, paisley and alari went to go live together and noelle decided to get into acting. so thats when get famous playthrough started!

22. if you use cc, are there any cc creators that you have like ALL of their items? this is such a good question! i hoard hair very heavily (my folder is 11gb) i so i have like 97% from most of the popular hair creators. 

i think i had legitimately EVERYTHING from simstrouble though, i went through multiple times to check and i also have all of her retired stuff. 

i have everything from ridgeport i think-? because of the fact that she uploaded all her stuff in one big zip. 

i think that’s it.. for a long time i also had everything by clumsyalienn, but then i ended up deleting it and only keeping my faves.

1. Cherry Magic

This. I was so not expecting to be so invested in this drama, but it quickly became one of my favorite dramas ever. It constantly gave me serotonin and it was so well executed too 😭 I absolutely adore Eiji's and Keita's acting, they did such a good job, that even if I watched without subs I could understand the characters’ emotions, they conveyed them so well! Amazing. Stunning. I love it so much😭❤️

2. The Untamed

I watched it bc my friend dared me to, but oh wow, it is worth all the praise I heard about it. I got so attached to the characters, it's truly an amazing show. And don't even get me started with Xiao Zhan and Wang Yibo, bc– oh well, I just fell for this series bc how can you not. Can't believe I only got to watch it this year, I need to rewatch it soon too, I miss it ;-;

3. 2gether/Still2gether

I was so excited when I heard about it first coming out! I thought it would be a lot more of a fake dating au then it actually was BUT I enjoyed it a lot ❤️ Especially Still2gether was just pure fun to watch and I couldn't get enough of it. Plus, it got my creative juices to flow (even if I still haven't written much for recently, oh well)

4. Gameboys

This! The way the story was told using the pandemic as an opportunity for new type of storytelling rather than a limiting factor... Plus I liked it a lot and was low-key crying when they finally met ;u;

5. Where Your Eyes Linger

I miss Han Gichan every minute of my life, ngl. And I got to watch produce bc of him too, and here I am obsessed with K-pop now. Thanks Gichan. But the drama itself is just lovely, too short for my liking, but definitely played on my heartstrings ❤️

6. Pearl Next Door

I'm happy to see my girl Pearl have some time to shine! I'm so in love with Adrianna look at her she's so beautiful how This series can be a little silly at times, but I'm genuinely curious how it's gonna pan out. Also love me some good gl series, I don't have enough of it usually.

7. My Engineer

I started daydreaming about ramking recently and oh boy do I miss them. I know we're getting s2, but wHEN is the question. This was a cute series too, definitely wasn't expecting it to take over my life.

8. Life Senjou no Bokura

I've seen the drama and I've read the manga and you know, there's something about japanese bls that gets me. I adored the parts that they added in the drama so much and the story is so good ;u; This has the angst and the fluff and is kinda short but totally worth it!

9. He's Coming To Me

I genuinely think it's one of my favorite thai dramas ever. The plot isn't conventional and concept is intriguing as well. It made me fell in love with Singto, too~ 

10. Road to Kingdom

This... Is not a drama, and I hate mnet and I hate survival shows, and I hate that they made this a survival show (hopefully Kingdom won't be tho) but oh the performances. The performances were so good I couldn't stop watching. Idk if I'd recommend watching the whole thing bUT the performances are on yt so I recommend to check them out! (especially 'Danger' by tbz and 'Kill This Love' by ptg & onf ❤️)

How do you do the characterization of Uta so well?

But really? (I’ve written about Uta a lot but Itori has only been in one of the scenarios about him with the reader. But in that one, she was the supportive friend.) To answer your first question, I am not sure that I was on point I thought the way I made him was ooc. However because you said it was amazing thank you so much. I have more confidence when you guys tell me these things so thanks a million. I think the reason why I don’t have such a hard time is because I like to analyze characters and TG is my favorite anime soooo. . .And you can ask as many questions as you like it just might take a week or two for me to answer but I will answer. I can definitely write about what you asked me but I will be as realistic as can be so sorry if it’s not what you expected. Lastly, your English is great, I had no problems in understanding. Keep up the good work!

Alright so let’s get to bottom of this, I’ve tried to look at this from a lot of angles but tbh I see it only one way. 

I will share the way I see it but because I am not Sui Ishida I cannot claim that this will technically happen so I will give you two sides to how this could go.

So first off I will explain the realistic way my view of how it would go and then how it could also go.

Okay, so as we know she has known Uta longer than Yomo has, according to the wiki.

Forgive me I haven’t had time to read all the manga but I did get the first box set of 14 volumes 

Sorry for being off track.

Now, she likes him a lot but I don’t think she loves him but I think she just likes him a lot, I wouldn't say she loves--at least it doesn’t seem like it to me.

This is because a lot of ghouls don’t seem to ever experience any kind of love, so most are probably unfamiliar with love and the feeling of it.

Anyway, she has probably liked him for a long time like maybe when they were teens.

I’m not saying that the minute she saw him she liked him cause well--no I don’t think she’s dumb and wouldn’t be the kind of girl to just fall in love at first sight. 

So at first, she was probably a good friend, then they became best friends and she liked that they could agree on so many things.

Itori appears to be a talkative and outgoing, sweet woman but she’s evil deep down.

Uta is the opposite so they fit like a magnet in her opinion since he is the missing piece in her life because she isn’t calm/quiet or a mystery.

He really is a mystery tbh so she might be into guys who are mysterious.

The main reason she likes him is because he’s the one guy that has stuck around.

Because she plays boys all the time so to her she probably considered romance to be a silly thing. 

But being around him is another story since she can’t play her best friend. Obviously girl.

Plus when people like someone, especially us girls we always can’t help but see everything a guy does as kind or special--just for us even.

And we paint this picture in our heads that he is this amazing person when in reality it’s just in our head but we wanted it to be a reality.

And we’ll try to cover up their mistakes and flaw. In our minds, we invent them to be this person who won’t let you down.

Everyone gets way in over their head when they like someone.

So at some point, she has probably pictured her life or what being with him would be like. It’s only natural.

Now bottled-up feelings hurt and it’s hard to keep them inside if your around this person a lot.

Because they make you feel so much so the butterflies in your stomach can only sustain so much.

So Itori may at some point (maybe if the series continued longer) confess or hint her feelings to Uta.

However, she seems to be good at keeping secrets since women tend to be the ones with the deepest secrets so she’ll probably only hint at it tbh.

Though Uta may not take it into consideration or ever bother to understand because let’s be honest he is pretty incapable of love.

Don’t get me wrong Uta could love so one but the chances are slim and him liking Itori just might be out of the question because he seems to have no interest in her as more than a friend.

So, she’s going to have to make it clear to him that she likes him.

Once he gets this into his head and processes what’s really going on, he obviously will reject her cause he doesn’t feel the same or he’ll play.

Considering Uta is part of the clowns, is a complete jerk, unpredictable, and even betrayed Yomo.

Uta is 1000% going to play her!

Now how that plays out, it isn’t pretty.

He’ll accept her feelings and play her and I am not kidding you he will.

She’ll believe because well that’s good news to her and she’s happy.

Dating is a game to him no matter who the girl is, so he’s going to play mind games.

He’ll sleep with her and call her baby and he’ll say she’s all she needs. 

Even tho his bed is never empty the nights she isn’t over.

Uta would probably take her on dates and she’d be having fun but he is hardly engaged.

At some point, he’ll call it quits.

After that, she probably doesn’t want to talk to him or see him again.

Deep down she is probably hurt cause she thought she actually had a chance.

Now let’s say this played out differently and that he had feelings for her, cause let’s say maybe he does since there is no evidence of him liking her or not.

They’d obviously both be happy and it may even cause them to change and be better people.

Cause love changes a person.

As for what their relationship would be like I am not too sure although they would spend even more time together and she puts his needs before hers.

I think she likes him more than he likes her, cause in a relationship there is someone who always loves more and in this case, that would be her. 

Now they wouldn’t have the smoothest relationship considering what they’re involved in but they could work it out.

There isn’t much to this as I don’t see this working out so yeah.

Comic buff with a thought, I notice the P5MM art and composition is more striking and closer to p5's art and style than the other manga, which is fine, but kinda... flat. (I find myself thinking there's something missing when I read it, then I look back at P5MM and I notice how there's more clever paneling, imagery, and stylistic choices akin to the games in it (like that one goro panel ya had a rant about) and I realize what's missing) That could be why P5MM is brought up more, just a guess. I dunno how you feel about all that though, I'm curious.

I am very big on art style and visual presentation. I do actually judge a book by it's cover (manga, game, movie, show, yadda). If I find something pleasing to my eye I'll read it.....even if the contents are trash. Domestic Girlfriend is one, horrible manga (didn't finish, was holding out for Momo, aka best girl, and getting closure for her....then I bounced). Didn't watch the anime (didn't need to I was way ahead in the manga I think), but I know that opening is wasted on it. ldskfjaf Don't invest your time into it, it's not worth it, you would probably learn better morals from P5.......probably. But yeah I found the art style pleasing enough to try it out (I's not amazing by any means, but I like looking at it....or did.....that writing man....dat was bad ;w;).... *waves hands vaguely in air* yeah.

Fun fact, it's why I got into Persona. I happened across an ad for P4 on the PS2 in the Gameinformer magazine, it showed a screenshot from an animated cutscene plus one of the fully body art for the chars and I was like "Yes this is my jam!" (which only doubled down when I read what it was about, and it was a murder mystery and the article also talked up "the mystery of the glasses" which fakldjsalkfs yeah). So yeah it really clicked for me.

Tbh it's why I'm probably going to get back into freaking Bleach, and it's why I got into it and Naruto over One Piece (I don't think I'll ever read ON I'm sorry). Tite Kubo has sexy art what can I say? Can't trust a thing that man writes now but eh. It's also the reason I read a lot of Shojo (and now Yuri) manga, cause their art style is usually what I find very appealing (even if I've read the same gd shojo love story just by a different name for the 1000th time, give me the flowers and sparkly eyes! they are my life blood!)

And I've mentioned I really like Saito's art style. I've (attempted) to color some of his pieces on top of animate some manga frames (most of which I haven't actually published......I...I should....get around to finishing those up....haha...aha....haaaa). I really like his art, it's pleasant. But even with good art, I can still see past it and see what BS it's peddling and it can hamper my enjoyment of it. If I don't look at the context of the scene or the words on the page, I can be down with it. But when I'm reading.......I get annoyed. I balk at anything with Goro. I guffaw whenever Makoto's on screen (cause Saito nails her from P5, she acts useful but really she's useless but the narrative views her as useful it ironically makes her useless......it's the weirdest thing I've ever witnessed >.>). Like Saito really.....gets P5 it seems, down to it's flaws even (tho he can actually make the good parts of P5 shine, or at least parts that P5 failed to execute....execute in a way). But he also makes the flaws.....shine that much harder for me.

Now the Reg manga? it's nothing special art style wise, in fact it starts off VERY wonky, and while still wonky, has gotten a lot....better/cuter (esp Ryu). Not like shojo cute just.......I wanna squish their wittle faces cute (at times when it's not serious).

Like when it comes to Reg Manga these are the two pieces that have appeared in it that I feel kinda hit the P5 mark in terms of style:

Which isn't much, but it's something. At least Reg's AOA is better looking than the anime. 8U

But I dunno, as the chapters go on, the Mangaka allows for more cuter expressions, and I just like their neat:

But they are still charming in a more simple way (without out having them go full chibi), it subtle but it gives it flavor. "Silly why are most, if not all those pics of Ryu and Anne?" I dunno guys maybe you should ask them how their backs are doing, cause they're the ones who are carrying the Reg manga when it comes to this! 8U

Tho I do think the first ch or two of Reg does a better job capturing P5's feel than the rest of the chapters, I think the mangaka is just.....bogged down by exposition and the game's BS that a lot of text on their pages so it almost reads like a novel:

ALots of text, not the most dynamic of framing with the panels. It's kinda eh. I haven't really read the manga past the 2nd dungeon tbh (I mean......as the residential #1 Makoto hater, I think that's fair.....that I'd start to zone out during my least fav dungeon....and then continue zoning out during my 2nd least fav dungeon askfdjaflk)

But during the first two dungeon arcs, I liked how.....bad the PT were at thieving, I liked how green they were. It was obviously a learning process. I also like some of the fight choreo (Saito did the best hand to hand one in the series in P4U's Yu vs Sho....which I actually animated....spoiler.....no I have no released that...my dumbass wants to tempt fate and see if I can redo it in color even tho it took me 4 days non stop to get that animated in just black and white.....but I am a fool so alas 8U). I mean it's not mind blowing, but it was simple and decently thought out, which is more than I feel like we usually get (esp with the anime shows....or at least P4/5's).

But I think what draws me in is....it's lack of P5 style. P5 style has them being still oh so cool despite being new at everything. It's tired me out. P5's how identity is style. It's....style over substance (gonna rile some feathers with that....Cvit(?) vid title). But P5 is overtly stylish, to the point it......weighs on me. Drags me down. Tires me out. I don't think they're cool, I'm bored with it. Ironically, Reg manga lacks that, which......def would make someone (and me usually) give it much of a passing glance. It's very basic I guess. But.....consider me, being in P5 hell, surrounded by all it's nausea inducing stylishness, sees a small break in the hellish hurricane to see.......normalcy. It kinda makes me connect better with the kids (kinda, it's still P5).

They feel like normal kids, trying to do their thing (sometimes trying to look/act cool and failing), and.....it's just the absolute antitheses to P5's brand......and I think that's why I like it. KLFJDSAFLKJA;

Anyway, who knows, maybe when I catch up on Reg in english and re-read MM with the official translation I might change my mind about a few things, or at least how I rank them. But for post length sake, and my sanity sake, I think I should keep the anime and mangas out of the "Which entry do you hate least" post......because I should just make another post where I go into both mangas as well as compare and contrast the anime! :D I'm just delaying some insanity for later haha....

Wait.........I just remember Day Breakers exists......and I liked it....still do....don't have much issue with it. Well shit, that is probably the one entry I hate the least. fklsdjfalkjdfkla;jsL;FJljsfdlskafaj *sobs* nO NO, I committed, and that's just a sad loophole. fdklsajflakfj *sobs* I still need to the game thing, cause let's be honest, the games are where it counts.

So right now my ranking for manga/anime is:

I did play the White Witch in my high school drama production of The Lion, the Witch, and the Wardrobe though. My mom's oldest goddaughter was really into that series.

Clue (1985) is legit my favorite movie I watch it all the time

I've watched Oceans 8 more times than is probably healthy bc Cate Blanchett and Anne Hathaway were part of my gay awakening

I really liked The Greatest Showman when it came out and I'll put it on in the background while I work because I like the music

I haven't watched it super recently but despite not really liking the MCU post-AoU, I will watch Black Panther if given the slightest opportunity

I watch Prince of Egypt pretty often and I wanted to watch it during Passover but grad school got busy O.o

The Princess Diaries (I read all but the last book bc my library didn't have it v_v) and honestly anything by Meg Cabot that I could get my hands on

The Disney Fairies books (I hecking loved those books okay they were great the movies did not do them justice)

Percy Jackson and the Olympians/The Heroes of Olympus (loved these books, kind of want to reread them)

The Gaslight Mysteries series by Victoria Thompson (I'll be honest these were NOT age appropriate for when I read them I was like eight but my grandma read them and liked them and would let me read them after she'd finished them and we would have fun talking about who I thought had committed the crime or whatever)

The Nancy Drew books (I never managed a full collection, but I do have a first edition of The Spider Sapphire Mystery that I got for $2 at an antique store once) I used to buy one every time I went to visit my stepdad's family because they had two Barnes & Noble stores and we would always stop by one and I would save up for this monthly trip so I could buy another Nancy Drew book and then when I finished it, my grandpa would read it.

5 book series I read now:

Does it count as a series if there are only two books? The last novels I read were The Handmaid's Tale and The Testaments by Margaret Atwood.

Trying to get my hands on the rest of the Persona 5 manga, I have the first two volumes and I want to collect the rest.

I will reread the Uglies books by Scott Westerfeld a million times those are amazing books I love them.

I got back into Fruits Basket because the sequel series came out and I picked up the first volume on a whim. I should finish that.

god I need to read more books that aren't for school um... I've actually been meaning to reread The Hunger Games now that I'm older because I last read those books in middle school and I feel like I missed a lot.

I’ve been interested in watching MDZS for a while now, but I’m not sure of what all I have to watch with the series or where to find it. I know there are live action bits, and I think an anime, and there may also be a manga? Please help if you can

yeah of course! so there are actually six whole versions of the story. you do not have to consume them all, and I haven't (yet) (i might) but here's what i know:

novel:

the novel, of course, is the original form of the story. it has the most true version of the canon plot, as well as being uncensored. there's swearing, there's sex scenes, and most importantly, the canon gay romance is left untouched by chinese decency laws. i personally cannot WAIT to read the novel because the few extra chapters ive read have such good dialogue and characterization, and im also tired of true canon wangxian being kept from me. you can read a pretty good translation of the novel here.

manhua:

i haven't read the manhua yet, but from what i heard it's pretty true to canon, and unlike japanese manga it's in full color which is cool! it is de-gayified but to a lesser degree than the others i think, but im not sure cause i haven't read it fjekfm. the art looks cool and im pretty sure the story is finished. you can read the manhua here (tho i think you have to pay for later chapters? im not sure. you can probably also find it on your favorite manga pirating app).

audio dramas (japanese and chinese):

to be real im not entirely sure what's the deal with the audio dramas, if they're the whole story or just a supplement story... or where to watch them in english. but they have pretty songs and pretty art on youtube, and from what i can tell from the songs, it is in fact Not de-gayed. at least not the chinese one (tho i don't expect the japanese one to be more censored, cause japan does not have those laws). the songs ive seen have spoilers tho so i would suggest not seeking them out until youve consumed the story another way.

donghua:

(aka anime). the donghua is a really good place to start if you're like me and you can't motivate yourself to read something like a novel or a manhua and you have problems with live action. it's currently unfinished but season three is coming this summer, and from what i can tell it is de-gayed.... but the art and animation are good, it's a good way to get familiar with the first part of the story and by god learn the characters' names without having to tell real people apart (but that's just my own faceblind problems). the story is really really rushed in the donghua tho and i wouldn't suggest only consuming that with nothing else because you'll be very confused in the fandom, missing huge scenes and not given time to fully absorb others. but it personally is a good place to start, to lay down the groundwork to understand the others. you can watch it officially on youtube here, but in case you dont like yt, my personal favorite pirate site for all anime is animedao.to, and it's on there too.

live action:

it's worth noting that while everything else is called mo dao zu shi (grandmaster of demonic cultivation, founder of diabolism, or a similar translation), the live action is called chen qing ling (the untamed). theyre the same story, but with a different name. i guess. i have seen the live action.... now twice, in two months. it is very good, but personally it was hard to understand without watching the donghua first. you gotta get that baseline of who the characters are and what's a flashback and what's not to really Get what's going on for the first few episodes. but it is very very good, and is much much longer than the donghua (50 episodes, 45 mins each vs like 25-some 20 mins each?) so it has So Much content that you don't get in the donghua and moves the plot along at a much more palatable pace, and there are some scenes they just couldn't fit in the donghua that are absolutely gold. it's finished to the end too! but! it is also probably the most censored of them all... but aside from that, it is very very very good and i can't stop singing its praises. the casting is perfect, the costume and set design is perfect, the cg effects and fight scenes are extremely cheesy but that's fine. it's good. it's on netflix, but if you don't have that you can probably find it on a pirate site somewhere. idk where to pirate live action so i can't help there.

TLDR; i personally watched the donghua first, then the live action, now im gonna read the novel, and that combined with some wiki scouring is enough for me to fully understand the story and im a lil dumdum when it comes to plot comprehension. and this one is pretty in-depth. so that's personally what i would suggest, but if you are a reader then go for the novel first. but i also suggest at least giving the live action a go because personally it is really well done even if the effects are cheap djsmdm
