Disappointed to find out that the phrase ‘Merry Cryptmas’ has been adopted by the cryptocurrency community. This is why we can’t have nice things.

#Ugh :/ #I’ve seen Merry Spookmas or Merry Creepmas used by other gothy sorts but I don’t really care for either phrase #I think I first heard ‘Merry Cryptmas’ used on a Tales From the Crypt album I loved as a kid and have used it off & on #So I’m attached to it #But I just did a search for images and .. the cryptocurrency community was all over the results #*disgruntled goth noises* #If anyone has kinda cute spooky alternatives to saying Merry Christmas I’m all ears! #I guess for now I just have to start using ‘Happy horrordays’ - which is fine #‘Scary Christmas’ sort of works too
