I know I already talked about this last night but I can't stop thinking back to the part of the novel where michael says he drinks black coffee with sugar so he can look tough even though he has fond memories of drinking coffee with tons of cream and sugar as a kid and would probably still prefer that if he let himself.... idk why it gets to me so much but it absolutely does

☕️ Coffee
Send “☕️” + a TOPIC and my muse will spill their honest thoughts and opinions on it
Good shit!
It doesn't really do a whole lot for me though outside of make me feel a little nauseous sometimes and also put me to sleep.
I really don't get why people get so all up in arms about the "purity" or whatever about it and being a snob about it honestly. It's like. I dunno. You drink it. Why do you care so much what other people do with their coffee. Once you start insulting people for how they like to have their coffee or whatever, maybe you should calm the fuck down about your coffee.
(It's kind of my opinion on most things when it comes to food and drink and stuff like... I mean, I'll make a big deal out of how disgusting something is but for the most part it's just me being melodramatic and I usually don't seriously care unless it's genuinely being wasteful.)
Anyway I personally love to have coffee that's barely coffee. I love when there's sugars and syrups and whipped cream. I love doing it to lattes. I love having mochas.
Like, I'll have 'actual' coffee just fine, I just prefer to have it be kind of sweet. Or a lot sweet.
I took some of Rufus's fancy flavored pour over coffee that you put sweetened condensed milk in too and that's pretty good.
Where was I going with this. I lost my train of thought.
One of my best concoctions was a mocha with any kind of fruity syrup (usually strawberry or raspberry) as well as some hazelnut and some whipped cream and chocolate drizzle and it was fucking great.
Experiment with your coffee. Live a little. Put a shitton of sugar in there and maybe you'll calm down.
