Clean (General Armitage Hux)
Summary: Armitage has a particularly rough day and takes a depression shower about it
Warnings/Tags: Hux-centric (no pairing), angst, stress, memories of child abuse, Hux works too much, did I mention angst?, body image issues, insecurities, maybe just very slight SH implications?, ANGST (let me know if I missed anything!)
Words: 1,162
Author’s Note: apparently I'm on a roll with producing Hux content recently! This is just a short little fic building off a headcanon I wrote about in this post. It's an idea I've had for a while and just finally wrote it down. Hope you all enjoy even tho it's super frickin angsty and kinda sad!
(oh and the lines from Br*ndol are from the Hux comic and I think Empire's End?)
The faint beep his door emitted as it recognized his credentials and zipped open for him sounded almost heavenly to Armitage. He barely made it into his chambers before he collapsed back against the now-closed door, sliding down until he was seated on the floor. He rested his arms on his bent-up knees, folding himself down as small as was possible given his height. There was a strange tightness in his throat, and not the kind caused by the unseeable grip of the damned Force. The passing thought of that frivolous magic snapped him back to himself, and he pushed up off of the floor in one fluid movement, knowing that if he slowed or hesitated at all, his exhausted body would decide that he would be sleeping unceremoniously slumped against his door.
It had been a long cycle. Or was it two cycles? How long had it been since he had last rested? He shook his head minutely, trying to clear the fog of weariness that had finally allowed itself to settle in his mind. His chambers were dark except for the pale light of the stars creeping in through the large windows. He didn’t bother turning a light on. Instead, he made his way slowly to the refresher, discarding items of clothing one by one, each seeming to represent a problem that he wished he could cast off as easily as his uniform.
First, the gloves – Ren destroying another expensive control panel. Greatcoat next – an unfortunate meeting with Snoke that left his project on a much tighter timeline than he had originally planned. One boot kicked to the side, then the other – the knowing glances cast between former Imperial officers on the bridge, sharing some joke he wasn’t privy to. His uniform top – the endless forms needing his approval and signature. The light undershirt next – the constant pinging of his comlink and datapad with requests for his time. Then his trousers – useless meetings with more insufferable Imperial veterans who just wanted to feel as though they were still valuable by giving outdated advice. Finally, his undergarments and socks – the biting headache that has been festering behind his eyes for the past… well… however many cycles it had been.
Hux reached the refresher and didn’t bother to turn that light on either. Instead, he stepped directly into the dark-tiled shower and turned the hot water to its full capacity. Normally, he limited himself to cold showers. He felt they were more effective at waking him up – or, more often than not, freshening him up since actual sleep was something of a rarity for the general. Either way, despite the fact that his rank gave him unlimited access to hot water, he rarely indulged in the luxury. Right now though, it was what he needed more than anything.
Steam filled the refresher, indicating that the water had reached a suitable temperature, and Armitage stepped under the current, nearly gasping at the shocking heat. For a moment, he could think of nothing else but the nearly unbearable warmth of the water as it coursed over his skin. When he had gotten somewhat habituated to the temperature on his body, he dipped his head into the stream and hissed as the water cut almost-scalding rivulets through his hair. After a few moments of exposure, his body became desensitized to the intense heat. He was left with a welcome warmth seeping into every fiber of his being. He began releasing tension he wasn’t even conscious of as the hot water unspooled it from his coiled muscles. His pristinely coiffed hair was soaked into damp strands, the gel dissolving and relinquishing its hold on his orange locks. For a few glorious moments, his mind was blissfully blank. He thought of nothing, simply absorbing the sensation of the hot water against his skin in the dark shower.
They always crept back in though – the voices, the thoughts. What a waste of resources. How frivolous. How useless. Hux gritted his teeth then, hearing his father’s despised voice ring in his ears: “I’ve yet to find anything that Armitage isn’t utterly useless at.” He was glad he couldn’t make out much of his body in the steam-filled darkness of the refresher. He knew his pale skin was turning a humiliating shade of pink – both from the heat and from the unwanted memories. And he was thin. Scrawny. “Thin as a slip of paper and just as useless.” Armitage pressed his fist against the cool wall of the shower, putting enough force behind it that his knuckles began to hurt. Anything to drive his father’s words from his mind. As the insults and memories faded, Hux heaved a sigh. He exchanged his fist against the tile for his forehead, the press of the cold black stone bringing him back to reality. Despite his face no longer being under the current of water, he nevertheless felt warm liquid slipping down his cheeks. He scrubbed at his face with his hand, assuring himself it was nothing but beads of condensation, and situated himself back under the stream.
He allowed himself just a few more fleeting moments under the warm water, trying to let it sap the last of the stress from his body, even though he wasn’t sure that was even possible at this point. Tension had settled deep into his bones and made itself at home there, untouchable even by the calming hands of heat that spilled over his body. Before he lost his nerve and stayed in the shower for the rest of eternity, he snapped the water off and was left suddenly shivering as the cool air of the refresher began to prick his skin. Stepping out of the shower, he wrapped himself in a robe. He caught a quick glance in the mirror, but any glimpse of his body was mercifully obscured by both the darkness and the steam collected on the reflective surface. He didn’t want to be reminded of his weak constitution now, not when he had only just banished his father’s unwelcome words.
He stepped back out into the main room of his quarters, letting the pale starlight guide him as he inched his way carefully along the trail of discarded clothing items, collecting them as he went. On his way to his bed, he placed each in their assigned places: uniform and undergarments in the chute that connected directly to the ship’s central laundry facility, greatcoat carefully arranged on a hanger in his sparse closet, boots lined up neatly next to the door. That done, Armitage allowed himself to sink into bed, pulling the covers over his chilled body. He was almost ready to give into his aching head and sore body, to just allow himself to fall into the oblivion of sleep. Then a shrill ping interrupted that futile dream. He rolled over, pulling his datapad into bed with him to check the notification. He could always rest after responding to this message.

II - Roommates, Commanders, and Generals.
Tumblr media
A/N: And they were roommates - I'm sorry. The next chapter will be a lot more interesting as we finally get into the plot. And just as a heads up, THERE WILL BE NO SMUT AT ALL. Idk how to write it and I don't want to make a complete fool of myself if I do so. If I ever learn I may add some.
Warnings: mild language, curse words.
METANOIA Masterlist
——————————
Who knew a ship could be so damn big.
I had walked and walked, following the map on my datapad to my quarters, which seemed to be on the other side of the ship. It was nearly midnight and I still hadn't reached it.
During the entire walk, I couldn't get the strange encounter with Kylo Ren out of my head. Why had he just stared at me? What was that prickling sensation? My mind was going so fast, asking so many questions, that I almost ran into a wall. I had stopped myself just short a couple of inches from slamming right into it. I stood there, recollecting myself, as a quiet, minuscule beeping came from my datapad.
Looking down, the beeping was signifying that I had reached my destination. In front of me were my quarters and not some random wall.
"For kriffs sake, finally," I muttered.
I shut off my pad and went to reach for the control panel next to me, but I stopped myself from hitting the door button. Are my roommates already inside? What if they're already asleep? I don't want to get on their bad side, who knows how long I'll be rooming with them.
"Hey!"
My head whips to the side to be met with a stormtrooper.
"What are you doing here?" They asked. From the sounds of it, the stormtrooper was female.
"I asked you a question."
"I'm sorry, I'm supposed to be rooming here." My words flew out fast and uneasy.
"Whose orders?" The stormtrooper asked.
"Head technician Ademir. He said that there were no available rooms in the technicians' quarters and that this was the first available spot," I explained.
The stormtrooper made a noise of understanding and hit the door button on the panel. It slid open with a slight whoosh and was pitch black inside. The stormtrooper went in, turning the lights on in the process. I stood there, awkwardly, almost waiting for an invitation.
"Well, are you just going to stand there, or are you going to come in?" The stormtrooper said.
"Uh, yeah right." I hurriedly walked in, the door closing behind me.
The room was semi spacious. It had two dressers, three beds, each with its small nightstand; a refresher, and a window that outlooked the galaxy.
I made my way further in and sat on the bed that looked unoccupied. I sat rather stiffly as the stormtrooper began to take off her armor.
Her helmet came off first, revealing dark skin, that almost seemed to have a honey glow to it, brown eyes, and a pretty face.
"So what's your name little technician?" She asked. Without the helmet on, I could hear an accent that was unfamiliar to me. I gave her my name and asked for hers.
"LN-7245." She answered as she continued to undress.
"LN-72- okay, that's a lot to call you by. Do you have a nickname or something I can use?" I asked.
She momentarily stopped her movements. "No. All we ever go by is our numbers." She then resumed, sitting down on the bed to take off her shin armor.
"Well, what about," I pondered for a second, "Leonora or Leo for short." She looked up at me.
"Leonora," she tested the name on her tongue, "I like it. Sounds nice. Where'd you come up with that?"
" Your number started with LN. I just took it from there and made something out of it that sounded pretty."
"Well, thank you for that." Leonora stood up, grabbed a case from under her bed, and began to pack away her armor for tomorrow.
When she finished, she grabbed some clothes, presumably sleep ones, out of the drawer on her nightstand. Before walking away to the refresher to change, she turned to the bed farthest away from me and smacked the person, who I honestly didn't even see, that was lying in it. They awoke with a start, cursing in Durese, a language known by space travelers.
"Why would you do that? I was sleeping so nicely!" They groaned. It was another female. This one had blond hair with brown streaks, blue eyes, and a pretty face as well.
"We have a new roommate. Be nice." Leonora smacked her again with her clothes and went to the refresher to change.
The girl grumbled something then turned to me, leaning back on her elbows, her head cocked to the side.
"So, what's your name?" She asked. I gave it to her. She peered at me curiously.
"You don't look like a stormtrooper." She pointed out.
I laughed. "What gave that away?"
She looked me up and down, "You don't have the body of a stormtrooper. And the way you seem to carry yourself, I'd assume you're a technician."
"Right you are." She laughed.
"I'm ZA-7283."
"Nice to meet you. Can I give you a nickname?" I asked.
"Nickname?" She asked. Leonora walked out of the refresher, dressed in comfy, all-black, nightclothes.
"She gave me one," Leo laid down on her cot, putting hands behind her head, "I'm Leonora, Leo for short." She had an air of pride around her.
The other girl gasped. "That sounds so cool! I want one too!"
"Okay, um, how about Zariah?" I suggested.
"Ooo, I like that. Makes me sound badass!" Zariah exclaimed. Leo and I laughed at her enthusiasm.
After we all calmed down, Zariah asked me a question.
"So why did they put a technician with two stormtroopers?"
I told her the same thing I told Leo.
"Ahhh okay. Well, at least you got two roommates who aren't sticks in the mud. That would've sucked." Zariah laid back down. I nodded in agreement.
—————————
"Shit, shit, shit, shit."
I hoped to maker that there were no higher-up officials around, because if so, I would've most likely faced punishment. I was currently running through the halls like a mad man with my jumpsuit half on and struggling to carry my small tool bag.
I had completely forgotten to set an alarm last night, causing me to wake up 20 minutes late, which is by no means acceptable. Leo and Zari left way before me, as troopers have to get up earlier than the techs, and they didn't even bother to wake me up.
So now I had to resort to dashing my way through the metal halls, weaving in and out of other technicians and stormtroopers. As I slid around a corner, I suddenly ran straight into something. The force I hit it with was enough to send me sprawling backward onto the cold metal floor. I groaned in slight pain and made an effort to sit up. Regaining my bearings, my sight is immediately met with black boots.
My blood ran cold.
Trailing my eyes up, all I see is black. Black pants, a black shirt, a black cloak, and a black helmet.
The prickling sensation returns. This time it's sifting through my mind, weaving in and out of the crevices.
Kylo Ren.
I scramble to my feet as quickly as possible and bring my arm into a salute. Once again, the black soulless eyes of his mask stare into the very depths of me.
"Please forgive me, Commander, sir!" The wavering words flew out. He said nothing, and I feared that he would whip out his lightsaber and end me right then and there. But he simply stared for a few more moments then briskly walked away, the prickling fading with him.
I watched as he left, not dropping my salute until he disappeared completely and I could no longer hear his boots on the metal floor.
When I had deemed it safe, I dropped my arm and breathed a sigh of relief. Gathering myself together, zipping up my uniform properly, and grabbing my bag, I made my way to my task for the day.
I was assigned to fix some damage in a meeting room, presumably caused by Kylo Ren during a meeting that had gone sour.
But when I walked through the doors metal blast doors, I couldn't help but curse.
"Are you fucking kidding me?"
In front of me was one of the biggest messes I have ever seen. The poor innocent wallhad been slashed many times by a burning saber, leaving deep jagged lines. They crossed and weaved in and out of one another, forming some type of chaotic artwork. No matter the strange beauty, this was going to be a pain to fix.
Setting my bag down, I went closer to inspect the damage. The wiring underneath it had been damaged severely. Some areas are worse than others, but half of the underneath panels would need to be replaced.
Looking away from the wall, I took notice of a larger bag of tools and a welding cart set off of the side; free for me to use. I walk over to the bag, open it, and grab my first piece.
——————
Four hours and counting. That's how long I've been fixing this mess. And I haven't even gotten to re-welding the slashes yet.
For the last hour, I've been working in a tight space. Literally.
To fix some of the wires in one of the deeper slashes, I had to go inside the wall. It required me to remove the vent cover, which resided right below the slash near the floor, and crawl inside; upside down. It took me several tries and having to unzip my jumpsuit halfway, revealing my black under tank, and tie the sleeves around my waist to finally weasel in. My back was flat against the air vent as I worked and I could hardly hear anything. Honestly, it was a miracle I even fit. After removing the air duct lining, I was able to finally access the wires.
Which leads me up to now. I was in the process of attaching one of my last wires, peacefully working and oblivious to the outside world, when something unexpectedly nudged my foot.
The sensation made me jolt up, my head slamming into the roof of the duct.
"Kriff!" The word escaped as pain now radiated through my head. My foot was nudged again. "One moment please!" I shouted. I began to weasel my way back out, having slight difficulty due to not being able to see much.
Once I finally got my head and arms out, I sat on the ground, blinking my eyes to adjust to the harsh lighting, having been in a dark vent for the last hour.
"Did you hear me?"
My head whipped up, and I was met with someone you hoped to never meet; the infamous, General Hux.
I stood immediately, getting a slight head rush from the fast movement, and saluted. "General Hux, sir." I addressed him.
He looked at me with distaste; not pleased to see me without my uniform on properly. But there was no going back now. He looked me up and down, a frown forming on his face. He was just like I've heard him to be. Short, red-haired, and a not-so-pleasing face that was always screwed up in a face of displeasure.
He huffed and spoke again. "Did you hear me at all?" His voice was snobby and pitched.
"No sir, I couldn't hear anything in there." I curtly replied, taking notice of the men behind him. Other Generals and officers, I had never seen, but by the way they presented themselves, they were important.
"Well, I had asked what you are doing in here. This is a restricted area to those without permission." He sneered, obviously not liking me.
"I was tasked to fix this damage, sir. Some of the wirings needed to be replaced but I could only access it through the vent, sir." I remained still, keeping my salute.
"On whose orders?"
"Head technician Ademir, sir. I have the assignment on my data-pad if you wish to see, sir."
"That won't be necessary. Do you have any other tasks to do?" He was growing frustrated at my presence.
"No sir, I don't. This is my only one due to how much work it requires." I answered. He huffed and opened his mouth to say something, but was interrupted by the blast doors opening, and someone walking in. My view was blocked by the other men, but General Hux rolled his eyes, already knowing who had entered.
"Ah, Commander, how pleasant of you to join us."

Mustafar seemed more intimidating when viewed from afar, threatening. The bright lava of the always burning oceans and rivers seemed to shine even brighter compared with the dark emptiness of space and hotter than the closest sun. It was deadly place.
Outside the toxic athmopshire of Mustafar a fleet of at least five cruisers guarded the planet, forming on a line, ready to destroy anything that would try to pass through them.
It was a tired work for some of the soldiers in the First Order ship just to wait around with nothing else to do than look at the vast space before them. Yet following Supreme Leader’s orders they waited, and waited.
And waited.
Until a mysterious ship jumped out of hyperspace. Soon the soldiers, pilots and commanders inside the cruisers recognized the legendary corellian ship that appeared in front of them, accompanied by a few rebel's ships that started blasting as soon and sudden as they appeared.
"Blast them!" Commander Benndra yelled hearing a ‘Yes sir’ in response followed by the known sound of the big blasters of the ship. Walking fastly towards the console, Commander Benndra pushed a button activating an holo-communicator. Immediately a tiny blue figure formed and showed a woman whose face was hidden almost completely by the black robe. "Supreme Leader"
"What is it, Commander?" Rey hissed.
"You were right, they’re here." Benndra reported. "The ship known as The Millennium Falcon is leading a small fleet of Resistance ships."
The hologram of Rey seemed to smile thought it was rather a grin, a mischievously evil grin.
“They’re so predictable” Rey said. "I want every single one of those ships gone," she commanded "Except the Falcon, the controller must be there, so bring me that ship."
"Yes, Supreme Leader" Benndra said and as soon as the blue hologram disappeared she turned to look at the captain of the ship.
“Commander, they’re out of range for the cannons” the captain informed her. Through the big window she saw the rebel's ships retreating. “What do we do?”
"I want a full squad of TIE-fighters out there now!” she yelled with her eyes looking directly at the Falcon.”We can't let them escape."
The ships left the big cruisers at high-speed following the X-Wings that only leaded them more and more away. And while they were chasing them and blasting towards them nobody noticed the small ships that appeared away from the big ships that were already diving into the lava planet in complete silence.
The atmosphere was tensed and that tension only grew bigger as the suffocating heat of Mustafar surrounding you all inside the U-wing full of people. Everyone was nervous, this was a big deal and would meant the end of the galaxy if the plan go south.
"Alright, here we go.” you heard Poe’s voice over the commlink once you were close to the landing place, he sounded concentrated and serious as he leaded the ships to the safe area you talked to him about. “Blue 7, prepare to land behind those burned trees. We'll cover you."
"Copy, Blue Leader." the young pilot of the ship said, for the corner of your eyes you looked at the cockpit a few feets away, you saw him pulling some levers, everything was ready to land, it was only matter of time until you would had to jump out of this ship.
As the U-wing started it's way down to land you shifted over your seat. There was a hurricane of thoughts inside your head, it was weird to be back on this planet that held so many memories. Memories as cold as the dungeons under the Fortress where you spent many rotations crying in pain. And yet, there were warm memories of a soft burning love that bloomed somehow in this dark place. But there was also the memory of an even warmer fury as dangerous as the boiling lava of Mustafar.
You were afraid this plan wouldn't work out, there were many things that could go wrong. However, your mind was more afraid to meet those yellow eyes again. Rey would be there, you knew face her was a possibility but you hoped not to see her, it would make things way harder than they already were.
And though you felt hurt by her actions you still hoped she'd find the light again, there was still good inside her but there was too much darkness as well, maybe it was too late to get her back after all.
Finn watched the way your body tensed more and more as you got closer to the place.
"Everything's gonna be fine, Y/N." he told you. "This plan will work, I'm sure" Finn assured you and you wished your friend was right.
"Okay, it's time." Poe spoke again and the pilots and the small team of soldiers listener carefully to your leader's words."This for sure it's gonna be hard, we don't even know if would work but this is our only chance," he paused for a moment "and we're definitely not gonna waste it." He chuckled and you couldn't help but smile.
Blaster in hand and the controller in the small bag, you adjusted your lightsaber secure in your hip one last time, Finn insisted you to carry it just in case.
Sighing you got ready to get out of the ship and as soon as the ship was close to the dark surface the sliding door opened and the small team, formed of a handful rebels, jumped out of the U-wing and rushed to hide into the burned trees that were barely a cover but better than nothing. Only exchanging silently gazes and quiet gestures you moved closer to the Fortress.
Meanwhile, outside the planet the TIE-fighters kept chasing the small group of rebels. Commander Benndra smile grew bigger with every new fallen Resistance ship, there were a couple of them left and the Falcon it’d be just matter of time for her squad to blow it out, hopefully this target would win her a higher rank in the First Order. She was already savoring her victory when the rest of the Resistance fleet jumped out of hyperspace.
And so the battle of Mustafar begun.
"We're in." Finn informed Poe through the comlink once the whole team was safely inside the glossy halls of the First Order headquarters. "Moving to the main pane, now." After waiting for Poe to confirm he looked at you. "Y/N, lead the way."
Your eyes traveled from Finn to the rest of the team, even though they looked nervous they were ready to fight, ready to do whatever it'd take to bring this place to ashes. And as all the members of the Resistance, they had hope in their eyes.
"The controls are in one of the upper levels," you told them "they increased the security so it must be full of troopers. We have to be careful." The team nodded in response and after one last look at them you started your way through the labyrinth of halls you knew like the back of your hand.
The dark side was way stronger than before, you felt it and so did Finn. Something in the air around you just felt out of place, out of balance. The dark had risen consuming even the smallest sign of light in this big fortress.
Everything was going according to plan for both the fleet fighting against the First Order ships and your team getting closer to the target. Everything was going a little too good creating doubts in your mind, voices that seemed to whisper strange things to you.
When you turned around the corner, the small team found a whole battalion of stormtroopers that started to blast as soon as they noticed the team.
"Y/N, go!" Finn commanded you between shots. "We'll cover you!"
"We'll hold them down, get to the main panel now!" A fierce woman told you.
You rushed down the hall.
"Y/N" Finn yelled making you look back "May the force be with you" and with a last smile you left them behind.
Your footsteps echoed down the dark, empty hallway as you ran, them more you got closer to the control room you felt just how much the dark side of the Force had conquered this place, it felts colder than ever, the voices you once heard sounded louder confusing your thoughts. ‘Concentrate!’ you reminded to yourself, one more hall and you’d be in the control room.
The hallway leaded to a big empty room adorned with big columns and a window that showed the dangerous lava burning outside the building. You stopped by the sound of a familiar voice, immediately searching for a place to hide.
“The rebels found a way in.” General Hux informed as he walked with his hands behind his hands as always. “A small group is fighting in level four, among them is the deserter trooper FN-2187.”
“I see we underestimated the Resistance” Rey’s voice came to your ears unexpected, forming goosebumps all over your skin. “Tell Commander Benndra to forget about the Falcon, she has permission to destroy the whole fleet. The controller is here, they’re trying to get it to the main panel.”
“What about the rebels in level four?” Hux asked.
“I’ll take care of it myself.” she said. From your hiding spot you saw Hux walking out of the big room leaving Rey alone for a quick moment concentrating on the rumour dancing in the air and the feeling of someone watching her.
"It can't be." she murmured turning to look over her shoulders making you flinch. She felt your presence in the Force, she knew you were there maybe since the moment you put a foot in the planet but couldn't believe it until now, so clear, so close.
There was no way you could hide anymore, and though facing her was the very last thing you needed right now, you didn't had much of an option. There was only one way to the control room and it was through her. Sighing you stepped outside your poor hiding spot behind one of the big columns.
Your name fell from her lips almost like gasp when she saw you, unable to believe her eyes, refusing to meet yours.
"You’re alive.” she mumbled with confusion over her face, she was speechless, just like you standing in the other side of the room.
"Kill her now!" The voices screamed at Rey who couldn't do anything else than look at you. "She's a liar, she will only hurt you again. She's here to destroy everything you've worked for, she brought the enemy with her, she is the enemy." They whispered convincing her confused mind. "Kill her!"
Anger over took her features as her eyes seemed to become even darker, shading the yellow with red. Rey started to walk dangerously slow towards you.
“You were lucky your little friends were here to help you last time,” Rey growled as her hands reached the double sided lightsaber on her hips “but it's just us now.” she turned on her weapon that lighted her face with a bright red light.
Fear spreaded all over your body for a moment watching the saber that once hurt you and thought on escape before she could do it again. However that was a thing you couldn't do, no if you were planning on help the galaxy. This was beyond yourself, you had to do whatever it'd take to save them, even if that meant fighting the woman you loved.
"I don't want to do this, Rey." You spoke for the very first time since the incident in the bridge, searching for your own lightsaber. "But I have to, I can’t let you win and take the whole galaxy down with you.” you held the saber in your hands but didn't power it up. "Please, listen. You can stop this war now and prevent more people from dying. I know you don't want this, I know you, Rey." You told her.
She was the first to attack, forcing you to ignite your weapon to protect yourself from her own.
"You know nothing about me." She grumbled attacking again. "I'm going to finish what I started, I'm going to end with you once and for all." She said already rising her saber again.
Moving around you managed to dodge some of her mortal attacks you discovered how much she had changed from your last battle against her, Rey was stronger, faster, merciless. Guided by the darkest side of the force, too driven by her emotions.
Panting you tried your very best to hold her accelerated rhythm, swinging your lightsaber desperately from side to side in a pitiful intend to survive while she thrusted over and over again and with a swift move she suddenly had her arms around you and her weapon holding your arms from moving and holding your back close to her chest.
"That's seriously all you got?" She whispered close to your ear, a grin over her features. "No doubt why I defeated you last time, always playing by the rules."
She always told you to let your emotions give you, use them in your favor, so you gave in to the growing anger in you, you threw  your head back managing to hit her face and free yourself from her grip.
Rey backed off in pain for a moment, she took a hand to her face founding a small cut on her lips that left a trace of her own blood on her fingers.
“Not bad, I trained you well after all.” she said admiring the red liquid on her fingers before looking at you mischievous.  “But you’re gonna regret that.”
Rey spinned the double sided weapon hitting against your saber aggressively. With all your strength you held her attack feeling the strong pull between the lightsabers close to each other. Rey's lips curved into a wicked smile, enjoying watching you struggling to hold the saber you meet her eyes then, painted with the colors of the wrath and yet there were not sentiments at all in her eyes, not emotions but a terrified coldness, even lifeless they were just empty shells, that was what she had become.
“I gave you too many chances to join me but you betrayed me, and betrayed me again… and again.” she hissed “It’s enough!”
“You’re right” you growled “It’s enough, Rey” putting your whole strength in one powerful thrust you managed to make her step back, taking the chance you rushed to the other side of the room but not fast enough. The bare tip of one side of her lightsaber reached your back making you cry in pain as the burning weapon traced figures over your back, dreadfully cauterizing your skin. It was just a scratch, yet it was the most painful one you had ever got. It took you a moment to recover from it, whimpering in the cold floor of the fortress.
Her lightsaber also cut the bag that contained the reprogramated controller that fell to the dark floor with a thud.
From the corner of your eyes you caught Rey coming closer, taking her time to contemplate your agony, her features filling with anger and you could swear you heard voices telling her to end you.
“Oh, Y/N” she started slowly circling around you“You really did hurt me, you hurt me more than anyone have had before” her face was consumed by the anger, she looked like the death herself in her black robes. “You lied to me.” she grumbled “You betrayed me!”
“I did. And I’m sorry.” you told her getting back on your feet “I did some mistakes, I know but I had to. I had to save them from you.” you said, attracting your lightsaber back to your hand with the Force, ready to fight again if it was necessary. “I have to save them.”
Rey’s features seemed to relax for an instant as her expression changed from anger to something close to sadness, hurt crossed her face when she met your eyes.
“You said you love me” she murmured barely audible. Her words took you by surprise for a moment. How could she doubt a thing like that, when you had loved her more than any other person. When you never stopping searching for her and when you stayed with her even when she had became a monster.
“I do” you told her, her eyes widen, it was not the answer she was expecting “I love you, Rey. Since the first day you came into my life, I love you” you added meaning every single word “And I’m tired of this, I’m tired of fighting and I’m sick of this war.”
Your gaze met hers for a moment wishing to see her smile at least one more time as your mind remembered the day you met her, the way she had hope in her eyes. She was still there somewhere inside this yellow eyed woman.
“I don’t want to hurt you, not  anymore.” you announced her turning your lightsaber off and throwing it aside “I’m not going to fight you, Rey. So if you’re gonna kill me do it now. I prefer dying than see the First Order ruling over the galaxy. Than seeing you like this, this is not you, Rey.”
“Stop it!” she growled pointing her weapon in your direction, but her words were meant for the voices in her head more than for you.
“She’s lying. You have to destroy her now. Kill her!”
Confusion invaded her head. The voices of the Sith kept telling her to destroy you, to end with you as they reminded her just how much you had hurt her… but the other side of her, the small beacon of light deep inside her told her not to, it told her to trust you assuring her you loved her just as much as she loved you. There was a chaos inside her that was turning her apart.
“Kill her!”
So she obeyed swinging her saber one more time and you closed your eyes already accepting this was the end.
But nothing happened.
Opening your eyes you found the blade of light inches away from your face and a conflicted Rey, with tears on her eyes, observing you.
Rey scanned every small detail of your face, from your messy battle hair to your lips remembering the sweetness of them and back to your eyes, where she stopped hypnotized by the way they shined when you looked at her and suddenly she realized she almost extinguished the light in them, she almost killed you… again. She remembered the terrible emptiness she felt without you by her side. She didn’t want a life without you in it, she didn’t want to hurt you, she wanted to protect you, but she feared the grip of the darkness on her was too strong.
“It’s too late.” Rey mumbled with sorrow in her voice.“Soon the Resistance will be gone, your friends are in danger.”
“It’s never too late, Rey,” you said “Never.” she powered off her lightsaber letting you finally step closer to her. Doubting you placed your hand on the side of her face while she cried in silence.
“I’m sorry” Rey sobbed “I should have stop this mess before, I should have never trust in the dark side but it seemed so easy” she regretted “If I hadn’t left the Resistance none of this would have happened.”
She didn’t protest when you pulled her into a hug, she only held you tighter in her arms burying her face in the curve of your neck.
"I'm sorry, there was no other option.”
"There's always other option." You murmured. "It's up to you to have the courage to chose it."
She tilted her head up a little to gaze into your eyes.
"Then I want to end this war now." she said. "I lost you once, I'm not going to let anything happen to you. I will keep my promise this time.
A soft smile formed over your lips but immediately faded away by the sound of your comlink.
"Y/N" you heard Finn's voice coming from the small devise in the bag laying on the floor. You let go of Rey to grab it. "Are you there?"
"Finn, what's going on?" You asked taking the comlink.
"Really bad, they're sending reinforcement soon, we don't know how much longer we can hold them" he said and you heard the endless rain of blasters in the back. "The fleet needs help, you gotta hurry." You exchanged gazes with Rey before answering.
"Go. Get out of here" you told him "Get Blue squadron to pick you up, I'll take it from here."
"No, we can't leave-"
"Finn, trust me." You told him and after a quiet moment he spoke again. "Go help the fleet they need you and Poe out there."
"Fine, but we'll get back for you." He said. "Good luck." Then he hanged the call.
Carefully picking up the datapad from the floor Rey handed it to you just as the call ended.
"Let's end this stupid war" she told you and with a last smile you both rushed down the hall, unaware of the eyes of the intruder spying in a dark corner of the room, the eyes of a man that would do anything to gain power, secretly commanding a much stronger kind of soldiers to prevent the rebel and the now traitor Supreme Leader from reaching the control room.
Rey and you stopped in front of a big metal door, the last one before the control room. You were so close to the victory, so close to be finally free, so close to be with her again. It seemed unbelievable how a few minutes you were willing to kill each other but now you were standing side by side waiting for the door to open, it seemed like the old times when you both were sent to small missions, way before she went to Ahch-to to train, before losing her, before all this war. The sight of her calmed you down, and though her was were still tainted with darkness you found tenderness on them, you found love on them.
The sound of heavy footsteps made you flinch and looking over your shoulder you saw a group of unexpected masked warriors coming your way. You recognized their helmets the moment you saw them, knew the group of shadows you had have only seen a few times around the Fortress, often serving as Rey's personal guards and other times in battle ending whatever came their way they were more than trained, knew exactly who they were.
The Knights of Ren.
"Y/N, behind me!" Rey yelled immediately turning her weapon on as the Knights were already sending their first attack that Rey fastly stopped.
The lightsaber in your hand illuminated the room as you got ready to fight again, this time with Rey by your side. Both of you observed how they got dangerously closer you but the scavenger had a different plan in mind.
As soon as  the big, heavy blast door finally opened she looked at you.
"Go to the control room" she told you concentrated. "I'll handle this."
“No way. They’re too many” you said "I’m not letting you alone”
“This is my fault, all of it." Rey said meaning her words "Now it’s time I pay for my actions”
“No, I'm not gonna- “
She looked at you in the eye, begging you to let her do it. She had hope again on the eyes and light.
“Please, you have to let me make this right” she told you and before you had time to say a thing she used the Force pushing you backwards and closing the heavy metal doors as soon as you were in the other side.
"No!" You screamed hitting the heavy door. "Rey… " you mumbled feeling the lump forming in your throat. You had just got her back, you couldn't lose her again. However there was no time left, you had to get back to the plan otherwise the galaxy would died. So you forced yourself to keep going, trusting Rey would be alright.
Eventually you made it to the control room and rushed to connect the reprogrammed controller to the main panel. After tapping some buttons the codes inside the datapad started to work, just as Admiral Statura said it would. It would be a matter of time until you could properly deactivate the bombs hopefully forever.
"Well, I have to admit you're not as foolish as I thought." you heard a familiar voice saying.
"Hux" you murmured turning to meet his gaze, founding a blaster in the way.
"And yet, you’ve made the most unintelligent decision by coming back here” he said with a satisfied grin over his face “I certainly have to thank you, Y/N. You brought the Resistance to us, after all.”
“You already lost.” you hissed. Hux chuckled taking a step closer.
“Naive girl, if someone it’s going to lose today, it’s not gonna be us” he told you. “You’re outnumbered, your pathetic fleet it’s going to fall any time now and with that the First Order will finally rule over the galaxy. Congratulations.”
You stared at him with hate, he was a man you disliked since the very first time you met him, someone who you couldn't trust. The real mind behind this whole plan.
You were about to turn on your lightsaber when he shot his blaster aiming to your arm making you drop the weapon in the instant. He rose his voice again, confident of his words.
“I wouldn’t do such stupid thing again.” he warned while you struggled with the pain spreading through your arm. “Now, stop that device.” he ordered threatening you with the blaster in his hand.
“I can’t.” you declared still looking at him in anger.
“You don’t know how to, do you?” he concluded with a smirk. “Then I’m afraid you’re not useful to me. Guess you are indeed foolish after all.” he savored his victory for a moment. “Goodbye, scum.”
General Hux’s eyes widen in surprise as the burning blade crossed his body, a red lightsaber that pierced his body from the back to his chest right across his heart. There was fear on Hux features before the saber turned off and he fell lifeless to the floor revealing the owner of the weapon, Rey was standing there.
“You alright?” she rushed to ask, her eyes focused on the wound of your arm.
“Yeah, I’m fine.” you assured her. “The knights-”
“They’re gone.” she told you. “It’s done?” she said pointing at the datapad on the control panel. You pulled a few levers and when you pressed the last button the little screen showed a message.
Phase Two. Deactivated. System shutted down.
Rey smiled at you reading the message over the screen. You took the comlink.
“It’s done.” you said through the communicator.
“About time.” you heard Poe’s voice.
“We’re leaving now. Poe, get us a ship and blow this thing as soon as we’re outside.” you added already walking down the dark halls with Rey by your side.
“We?” Poe asked confused.
“Yes, we. Now get ready!” you said as you kept running towards the exit.
The battle out planet wasn’t as well as planned, the Resistance ships were old compared with the ones of the First Order, however the rebel pilots knew how to use their ships. They were running out of options, that was when Poe came with the idea to use the last bomber to destroy the enemy’s fleet. He just hoped it would work now that you had deactivated the bombs in the planets.
You were a few feets away from the exit of the Fortress when you noticed Rey was not longer running with you, she was rather just standing there in the middle of the hall looking at the floor.
“Rey, come on! This thing’s gonna exploit” you advised her.
“I can’t go back to the Resistance ” Rey spilled full of guilt .“Not after what I’ve done.”
“Nonsense! Come on!” you said taking her wrist and trying to pull her towards the exit but she released from your grip.
“I abandoned the Resistance when they most needed help. I’ve done terrible things to them, I’ve killed many of them. And worst of all, I’ve hurt you, Y/N. ” her voice cracked filled with pain and regret, pure regret. “I can't just show up and pretend nothing ever happened.” you more than anyone knew that feeling, you had been in the same situation a few days ago. Sighing you rose your voice.
“There are going to be consequences,” you murmured “That’s something you can’t avoid, and sure it’s not gonna be easy” softly you placed a hand on the curve of her face, carefully tilting her face to make her look at you “but whatever it is we’ll face it together, I promise. I love you Rey, please come with me.” you pleaded.
Rey doubted for a moment, it was too much process, she had caused  much pain to the galaxy and yet all she wanted was to go with you, whatever place it was as long as it was with you she would follow. She had to keep her promise.
She nodded softly “Okay” she murmured.
With that last word she took your hand and both of you hurried to get out of that dark place that had witnessed the rise and fall of the dark side and after a long time was going to finally fall.
The Falcon was already waiting for you, on the ramp you saw a familiar face extending a friendly hand to help you get inside. Finn was surprised when she found Rey running with you and though he was confused he was glad to know you both were fine. Finn and Rey exchanged gazes, your friend gave her a soft understanding smile while softly nodding, if someone knew how it felt to leave behind the First Order it was him. Once the ramp was closed the Falcon speeded up.
“Poe, now!” Finn yelled through his communicator. From the ship you saw the Fortress explode, sinking into the burning lava that consumed it all turning it into a strange landscape of melted rock. As it melted you felt weightless, the big weight in your shoulders was finally gone, the tensed atmosphere faded away. The voices inside Rey’s head banished too. There was peace.
Balance.
Moving around the Falcon filled with people you felt their eyes staring at you, staring at Rey, they were no happy to see her here and yet nobody said anything.
Once the ship was off the toxic atmosphere of Mustafar you realized there were only remains of the defeated cruisers of the First Order. Poe's plan had worked.
“It’s over” you heard Dameron's voice sounding through the comlink in the ship. He chuckled. “My friends, we won!” he said enthusiastic “We won!” he repeated and you heard the rest of the pilots along with the people in the ship laughing, some of them crying.
It was over.
The war, the endless battles were finally over. All of them were finally safe, finally in peace. The galaxy was safe, ready to start over and so you were.
With all that had happened you couldn't contain the tears pooling in your eyes and the chills spreading over your body. You looked at Finn and wrapped your arms around him as a celebration. He was always there when you needed him most.
Then you turned to Rey all alone watching you from the distance. She gave you a shy smile that melted your heart, carefully pulling her into your embrace you held her close to your body and she held you being careful not to hurt you. The closeness of your body made her own eyes fill with tears that didn't take long to fall over her face.
You backed away just enough to look at her soft features, you found yourself thinking about your journey with Rey it was a long one. From meeting back in the Resistance, to found her in the dark side, to the memories of Mustafar.
Your heart raced when you looked into her eyes only then you noticed her eyes were hazel again, not yellow, softly shining brighter than ever finally free of the grasp of the dark, you were right all along, there was light in her. 'What now?' you asked yourself, sure there were going to be new challenges for both Rey and you but you didn’t worry about it, you had her and that was more than you could had ever ask for.
Leaning in you captured her lips into a soft kiss, you kissed her sweetly, lovingly, enjoying her every move. You were finally together again.
Just when the Falcon jumped into hyperspace you thought of the possibility of a future with Rey, it wouldn't be easy and you knew the darkness would try to come back but you would make sure to make it go away. You broke away and smiled at her, you were willing to take any future as long as you had Rey by your side and you hoped it would be the will of the Force. You hoped for a brighter life, a life full of love, full of life, full of her.

I’m sorry...ch.3
Tumblr media
A/N: yall we are nearing the end of this tiny series! UwU I didn’t think people would like it.
Warnings: angst, mentions of Kylo forcebonding with Rey, General Hux slaps Reader, pregnancy (?)
Pairings: the usual
It had been exactly 9 months since the wedding, since Y/N and Kylo became husband and wife. Everything was fine for awhile.
And then he started training with Snoke again. Then the Force bond with Rey started.
She could feel him pulling away from her more and more every day, the darkness inside him was taking over and she grew afraid of him.
Y/N wished she had never left her father, she missed him terribly not only was her husband Force bonding with Rey but he was sinking deeper and deeper into the darkness. But how could she leave now? She looked out into the training room watching Stormtroopers train when a sudden kick coming from her tummy pulled her out of her thoughts. Y/N stroked her swollen belly softly and looked down as she did so. She was now eight months pregnant but she looked like she had swallowed a small watermelon. No one except for Snoke and Kylo knew that she was pregnant. Kylo said it was for the safety of both her and their baby that the less people knew the more safer she was. Y/N pulled the warm cloak around her tightly enough to cover her belly. The blast doors hissed opened and Y/N turned to see General Hux standing a few feet away from her.
"Hey Tij" she said softly. He had a stony look on his face, his green eyes cold and hard. Y/N wanted to prod his mind to find out why he was looking at her that way but he beat her to it.
"I know." Was all he said. Her eyes widened with both fear and shock. A scream rose to her throat but she swallowed it.
"How-" but he cut her off. He held up a folder which she instantly recognized as her health records.
"I should had known," he hissed angrily and opened the folder, "I've seen the way you look at each other like you have some DIRTY secret. You stopped drinking wine at dinner months ago, you go for routine checkups every month. You're hormonal and sick all the time and you're always wearing that stupid cloak."
Y/N lowered her eyes avoiding his angry gaze. Her bottom lip began to tremble.
He slowly walked towards her until he was close enough to touch her. "Look at me when I'm speaking to you Y/N..." Hux said in a low dangerous tone. She looked up only for him to slap her. Hard enough to make her stumble over. Y/N felt her cheek burn already his angry handprint marked her face.
"Have you gone mad?!" She cried out. Y/N was holding on to her stinging cheek a look of shock plastered on her face.
Hux ran a hand through his hair in frustration, "No not mad Y/N but I fear you will drive me to it. You could have been smart enough to use protection but no you chose to get knocked up by that stupid man!" Y/N stood up and shed the cloak from her shoulders revealing her pregnant belly without a care in the world now.
"I didn't choose to get pregnant to annoy you Armitage! I chose to have a baby for Kylo and I because this child is the product of our love, why are you so mad?"
Hux grabbed her by both of her wrists and pulled her to him, "Because you chose him over me! You knew I loved you yet you ran off and married him when I could have given you more!" Then to her surprise he kissed her. His kiss was not angry or rough but sweet and gentle and then she kissed him back. Their hearts fluttered against their chest and all of their anger sizzled out of them. They pulled away and looked into each other's eyes, "Why didn't you tell me how you felt?" Y/N whispered.
He closed his eyes and shook his head, "I saw the way you looked at him and I knew you only saw me as a friend. Leave him."
Y/N frowned, "What?"
"Leave him Y/N! Let me take care of you and your child....a child I am willing to raise as my own." Her jaw dropped and tears filled her eyes. At that moment then last doors opened again and both of them looked over. Kylo was staring at both of them, the rage inside him grew when he saw a handprint on Y/N's face along with her water e/c eyes. Hux let her go and Kylo calmly walked over to her and placed a hand on top of her belly, "Love of my life are you alright?" he asked. She looked over at Hux and said, "I'm fine..." Kylo kissed her cheek, "Go back to our quarters we'll talk there." Y/N looked at Hux one last time and walked away. As soon as the blast doors closed behind her, Kylo threw Hux across the room hitting the control panels.
"You lay a hand on my wife one more time and that will be the last time you have hands" Kylo roared. Hux's eyes widened but didn't say anything instead he watched him go.
_________________________________
"Do you care about her Ben?" Y/N said as soon as Kylo walked into their quarters. He was confused, who was she talking about?
"What?"
"Rey. Do you care about her Ben?" Her voice began to crack. The room went quiet the only sounds that could be heard were Y/N's sniffles.
"Y/N-" but she walked right past him bumping into him in the process.
"I don't care about her!" he shouted following her into their bedroom.
"Oh don't lie to me Benjamin Organa Solo! I saw you two the other night, holding hands practically kissing!" she shouted back. Y/N was crying hard now. Kylo stood back like she had just slapped him.
"She means nothing to me Y/N!"
"Bullshit Ben that's bullshit and you know it!" She sank on to their defeatedly, Y/N covered her face with her hands and cried. "I don't want to do this anymore..." Kylo froze. Did she just say what he never wanted to hear from her?
"What?" he said quietly. She removed her hands from her face and answered, "I wanna go home. I miss my father. I miss him and it hurts me he will never know his grandchild."
Kylo sat beside her and hugged her, "I'm frightened" she continued "You're going down a path I can't follow Ben...don't do this...please I'm begging you. Let's go home together..."
He didn't say anything for a long time he just stroked her hair kissing her every now and then.
"But I'm so close to achieving what I've been dying to do...stay with me Y/N. Please...don't leave me. Don't go."
She loved him. She loved him with all her heart and he loved her back so in the end, how could she leave?

1. How long ago did you start reading fanfiction? Writing fanfiction?
Ooof reading? I don't know it was really damn early I think around 12? When my English got pretty good. Writing I started at 15... I publicly published my first fics on Ao3 from that time 2 years later with inglorious Basterds, you can still check that out on my page. They're a bit wonky but eh.
4. Link your three favorite fics right now.
Non Fucking Negotiable by @100dabbo has a very special place in my heart as it unofficially started our friendship lol but all their works are absolutely fantastic! (A Pleasure Trip to Camden Town is my most fav)
Atonement by Starless which is an incredible (unfinished :((() fic of a movie I've never seen but it gripped me so hard
Immovable, Unbreakable by Card_Slash is the one fic I keep coming back to but am never able to finish it's so long it needs dedication and concentration but almost every 3 months I decide to reread it because it shaped who I was at age 14 :))) I still remember reading it for the first time at my grandma's little Soviet panel flat in the summer heat on the tiny open up bed in the living room and I watched as the sun rose because I was so hooked on it I couldn't stop reading all night. I fucking loved assassins creed and that's the only good fic they had but this was THE fic
6. How do you find new fic to read? Where do you primarily read fanfiction?
Ao3 is the one and only 👌
10. What’s your favorite fandom, pairing, or character to read fic for?
Before getting into PB, and the whole Cillian + Tom filmography fandom I was a big fan of and looked up a lot of fics for (Star Wars) Hux x Kylo, (Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them) Graves x Newt, and I was very active as an artist last year for DBH (Gavin x Connor / Gavin x Nines) and DMCV (Nero x V / Dante x V) and loved the fics for them.
Now as we know I'm head over heels for any Tom Hardy x Cillian Murphy character pairing and I really wish for more♡♡ also PB: Tommy with Luca or Campbell or Freddie or any other man pleaseeee
15. Tell the author your favorite fic of theirs. What’s your (the author’s) favorite fic you’ve written?
*me seeing you didn't tell me which is your favourite* *attaches lotr meme* alright keep your secrets then
My favourite fic I've written? Eyy that's a tough one... I really love and am attached to All 4 You but rn my Falling For Danger series is so fucking pleasing honestly aaaahhh especially I think Salt and Mint that baby got the least attention out of the three but I think it's amazingly pleasing tbh... it's the start of the mommy kink too ahahahaaa
22. Do take fic requests? If so, for what characters and why?
I would love to!!!! I'd love to write some Tommy getting some good dick by Alfie, Luca, Campbell, James, Freddie, Arthur, etc but I do prefer a bottom Tommy at all times. I'd also love to write some Crane and Robert fics too :)) But I'm unsure about doing them for free I'm kind of a broke collage student and would love a few pounds for commissions so I can get some food for it if possible :/ I know not all of us are in a situation to be able to spend money on fics (even if it's just like £5, been there) but I'd definitely produce them quicker if it comes with some reward
26. What’s your biggest distraction when writing?
I live in a household with basically no personal space and I have my mother and sister constantly come in and nag me about what I'm doing. I say I'm writing. They insist on knowing what. I say stuff. They say oh you think you can have that attitude in an eastern household huh 🙃🙃🙃
30. Post a snippet from your current WIP without context - no more than 300 words.
"And tell me, why would I ever shake hands on a deal with a filthy, low-life gypsy criminal such as yourself, Mr. Shelby?" Campbell sneered, feeling impatient and even more irritated by the younger man's unaffected gaze, "What could possibly be worth so much that I would stoop so low?"
;))))))) oh yes baby you got a big storm coming ...
40. How did you come up with the idea for [x fic]?
Which one????? Lol but usually horny banter in the dms with the right people

prompt: "I'll let you fuck me, when you're the Supreme Leader and I'm Grand Marshal" and with that Hux turned Snoke's new apprentice down and never thought of that incident ever again. Fast forward to now. Kylo just made himself the new SL and is about to promote Hux.
“You’re beginning to test my patience, General,” Kylosnarls, using the Force to push Hux against the nearest wall in the corridor, moving towards him like a predator would his wounded prey. “You’d do well toremember your position.”
“My position,” Hux grins, laughing through the obvious painthat’s radiating through him from where his head smashed against the wall. “Myposition, Kylo Ren, is head of the First Order, and the Supreme Leader knows it. But withyou being the new boy, I’ll let this one slip. Any more of these ridiculousintimidation tactics of yours—a boy who thinks himself a man—and I will seethat Snoke deals with you personally, boy.”
Kylo growls, feeling blood beginning to pump southwards.Underneath his helmet, he feels himself blushing, thankful that Hux can’t seethe effect he has on him, but Kylo has a reputation to uphold, and he knowsjust how Hux likes it. Breathing heavily, the young Knight moves to press his knee between Hux’s legs, rubbing it slowlybut harshly against the General’s crotch.
“Why, you—” Hux begins, but his words disappear into adesperate moan, letting his head fall back against the wall with his eyesclosed.
“I knew it,” Kylo chuckles, leaning in to press the coldfront of his mask against Hux’s cheek, close to his ear. “What you need is somestress relief, General. My hard cock up that tight ass of yours.”
“Oh. Mm. Yes, little Ren. I’ll let you fuck me,” Hux biteshis lip, and Kylo can already picture Hux moaning beneath his body—but Hux’shands are suddenly on Kylo’s chest and shoving him away with force. “Whenyou’re Supreme Leader and I’m Grand Marshal!”
Hux remembers that dayextraordinarily well in his mind as he makes his way—slowly—towards Supreme Leader Kylo Ren’s throne room onboard the grand Supremacy II, wonderingwhat fresh assault waits for him behind those closed doors.
Surely, Hux thinks as hestrides with false confidence up the pathway to the dias at the foot of theSupreme Leader’s glorious ornate throne, Kylo doesn’t remember thatconversation.
“Grand Marshal Hux,” Kylo saysloudly, standing from his throne as soon as Hux is in front of him. “Do youknow why I’ve summoned you? Ah. Youdo.”
Hux swallows hard. Hesometimes wishes that Kylo still wore his ghastly helmet; at least Hux wouldn’thave to look at the handsome facethat he turned down all those years ago. Back then, Hux hadn’t known that KyloRen was human underneath his mask. There were rumours that he was the same ghostly creature as Snoke, but oh, those rumours had been wrong. AndHux has regretted his rejection every day since.
“You remember our little discussion, don’t you, Grand Marshal?”Kylo says with a small smirk on his lips, circling Hux slowly. “About what you’dlet me do to you once I gain a certain position of power?”
“I remember,” Hux states, staring straight ahead at the throne, wondering if this brute will even let himprepare himself before pounding him into the next cycle.
“Then you won’t hesitate inaccepting my offer to join me in mychambers tonight.” Kylo’s breath is hot onHux’s ear, sending prickles of excitement across his skin but his rigid posturedoesn’t falter.
“I am a man of my word,” Huxsays.
“Good.” Kylo steps backtowards his throne, draping himself over it, hooking one of his legs over thechair’s arm, opening his legs as though to show off his crotch. “2000 hours,Grand Marshal. My private chambers. Be ready for me.”
“As you wish, Supreme Leader.”
Hux turns quickly on hisheels, leaving the room before Kylo has a chance to say anything else, beforehe has a chance to see the tears threatening to fall from Hux’s eyes.
Be ready? Huxshivers. How does one get ready for an impending assault? His body is alreadylaced with bruises caused by the Supreme Leader’s hand, and he’s expected to ready himself for more?
Whilst showering and workinghis asshole open with his favourite toy, Hux wonders if he has time to run.
After lubing himself up andleaving his second-largest plug inside, Hux chooses his most pristine-lookinguniform to adorn. After all, these are the clothes he’s likely going to beburied in.
The walk to the Supreme Leader’schambers is agonising. He feels like he should be shaking hands with eachofficer that he passes, wanting to thank them for following him so loyallybefore his life comes to an end as a result of Kylo’s pent-up sexualaggression. If he’s lucky, the Force will kill him first.
He knocks twice on the doorand it swishes open as soon before he can get the third knock, revealing asweet smelling scent coming from the dimly lit room. Hux enters, stomachclenched and heart pounding in his chest.
If only he’d said yes to young Kylo Ren all those yearsago; the boy may not have killed him, but the man is most certainly going totear him apart slowly.
One of the adjoining chambersseems to be flickering with light from inside so Hux decides to slowlyapproach, presuming that’s where the Supreme Leader waits for him, where hisinevitable demise waits to devour him—
“My fairest Marshal. Please, come in.” Kylo’s voice is softer than Hux has ever heard it, but he doesn’t dwellon it for a moment longer, too baffled bythe scene in front of him.
A great four-poster bed, curtained with white, voile panels, sits proudly in the centre of the room, adorned with black silk bedsheets and red rose petals scattered all over it.Kylo, wearing only a pair of bright red—andhells, TIGHT—shorts, a long-stemmed rose held in his hands. Candles aredotted all around the room, lighting the scene with a gentle glow and givingthe room a gorgeously sweet smell.
“Supreme Leader…! I don’t—”
“Not here,” Kylo says, gettingup from the bed and sauntering to Hux, picking up two crystal glasses of wine as he moves. “I’m Kylo to you now, Hux. No formalities. I’ve…I’ve waited too long forthis.”
Hux’s jaw hits the floor. Hetakes the glass of wine from Kylo and chugs more than half of it in a few largegulps, expecting the burning sensation to wake him up but everything is as itwas when he opens his eyes; the bed, therose petals, Kylo’s very handsome bodyand his soft, pleading eyes.
“Supreme—uh. Kylo,” Huxcorrects himself, setting his glass down on the sideboard, glad that thedimness of the room is hiding the growing bulge in his trousers. “I’m afraid Idon’t quite understand what’s going on.”
“All those years ago, when Ipushed you into that wall and said I’d love to stick my cock up your ass,” Kylopouts, obviously trying to shake off the embarrassment. “I…heard that you likedit rough, so that’s what I tried to be. But then you gave me that propositionand I hated myself for trying it onwith you like that. So I knew I had to be strongerfor you to accept me, to become Supreme Leader to prove myself to you, andnot a moment before.”
“I…Fucking hell, Ren,” Hux says, placing his palmover his sweating forehead.
Kylo takes hold of Hux’shands, pulling them so Hux stumbles forwards, bringing them chest-to-chest.
“I did what was needed of meto get here,” Kylo says, voice low. “I’m Supreme Leader and I’ve made you GrandMarshal. This, this is my offering. I’ve done as you asked, Hux. I’m sorry ittook me this long, but I’ve given you power and…I’m yours, if you’ll have me.”
Hux doesn’t need a betterinvitation than that. He throws his arms around Kylo’s neck and kisses himdeeply, locking their lips together with the passion that both of them havesuppressed for one another for the last few years.Kylo moans, moving his hands down Hux’s body to—albeit hesitantly—touch hisass and graze down his thighs, lifting Hux up, letting his long legs wraparound his waist.
“You romantic fool, Kylo Ren,”Hux says once he’s set down upon the bed amongst the dozens of rose petals. “Youcould have had me years ago if you’dtold me the truth, but I’ll scald you later. Haven’t you promised your cock inmy ass?”
And Kylo pounces.

because I'm totally ridiculous and this is my new platonic crackship: 18 for Ben Solo and Rose Tico as nerd teamup forced to work together and developing A Rapport.
biTCH ME TOO, THE FUCK.
special shoutout to @futurecatladies, who I know is always down for that good good roselo content. this is technically platonic with shades of background reylo, but i think with just a minor nudge and minimal squinting one could consider it roselo instead (or even ‘also’).
--
Rose watches him work from behind, half grateful and halfincensed.
On the one hand, they’re barreling away from the Limiter, the First Order’s newestflagship, at high speed. She’s safe – relatively – and on her way home after onlya day in a holding cell that could have easily become an eternity. Things areas good as they’ve been in at least a week, and for Rose that’s saying a lot.
But on the other, the other half of this ‘they’ is Kylo Ren,the one and only Supreme Leader of that same Order from which they’re currentlyrunning.
He opened her cell an hour ago with a serious look on hisface that said he didn’t want to think about what he was doing. She nearlypissed herself in terror but put on a brave face.
“Here to kill me?” She asked him, impressing herself withher defiance.
“Shut up,” Kylo Ren said in a low and slightly nasal voice. “Shesent me. We’re going.”
“I’m not going anywhere,”Rose spat back. “Not with you. Who sent you?”
She could see the tops of his bottom teeth as he sucked in abreath. He closed his eyes. “Rey.”
She scoffed, put off by his dramatics. “Rey sent you.”
“Don’t sound so incredulous about things you don’t understand.”
If the look on his face hadn’t convinced her of the honestyof this frankly baffling admission, his sharp and perfect recitation of herlast conversation with Rey did. It was like he’d been sitting with them in herroom, taking notes on the strange and meandering argument they had aboutrepairing the new base’s laundry equipment.
It was, in a word, unnerving.
But then again, Rose muses now, watching dumbfounded as Ren’supper half disappears into an access panel on his own personal shuttle to rip out the fusebox that powers the ship’s tracker, what about him isn’t unnerving?
“Literally everything about this is illegal!” She halfyells, half hisses.
Kylo Ren grunts as he knocks against something on his wayout of the panel. He has a sparking fusebox in one hand and a hydrospanner inthe other, slightly charred from where she assumes he used it to pry off the fusebox.
“Appropriate that now would be the time I start living up tothe name.” He sounds almost wistful.
He stands and drops the fusebox onto the nearest surface, abuilt-in bench along the wall. He towers over her, but Rose hardly notices, confusedand on-guard at his cryptic admission. “What?” She asks, chin tilted high.
“What do you care about legality, anyway? You’re a Rebel.”
“What do you mean ‘living up to the name?’”
He looks taken aback. “What do you mean, ‘What do you mean?’”
Rose wrenches the spanner from his hand and brandishes it athim. “Don’t repeat my question back at me!”
“You don’t know who I am?”
“Of course I know whoyou are, Kylo Ren.” She spits the name at him, already tired of whatever gamethis is. “You’re the worst thing that’s ever happened to the galaxy.”
“No,” he says, a little quieter. “Before that.”
Rose grits her teeth. She wants to scream. “Out with it! Wedon’t have time for a dramatic reveal right now!” There’s a following pause andshe’s about to warn him not to bother if it’ll make her hate him any more thanshe already does, when—
“Ben Solo,” Kylo Ren says, voice low, eyes lower. “That wasmy name.”
She can tell he’s expecting a gasp, the gentle cracking of aworld-altering revelation. And maybe three weeks ago – before Finn and Rey andnarrowly escaping death on Crait and the First Order beginning its incomprehensibleand rapid implosion – she would have obliged him.
But Rose Tico is different now. More skeptical, yes, but alsoless afraid.
Which might be why she reaches up to grab his chin and tiltshis face down towards her. Her eyes skim the flaring bridge of his nose, thefeline tilt to his eyes, the unruly, triangular brows. She scrunches up hernose, remembering what she can of Han Solo’s face from the holos she’s seen.
He’s surprisingly calm for someone being manhandled by anenemy, if that’s still what they are.
Fair enough, shethinks, that might as well be true, too.
“Well, Solo, putit to some kriffing use.”
She can tell that the smile he cracks is supposed to becharming – that it would have been on Han’s face, all loose and careless – and shecould have expected it to be menacing, even sad.
But what it is instead is absolutely goofy.
His cheeks wing out and he has a gap between his front andeye teeth on both sides. Even worse, he has dimples. Rose can’t help herself. Her eyes roll back.
They’re flying through First Order-controlled space in aship that is (probably) technically stolen, possibly about to do irreparabledamage to the Order and definitely goingto do irreparable damage to the (probably) stolen ship in the process. Disablingthe tracker will be absolutely necessary to making their escape through hyperspace, but the entrances and exits of the lanes are now fully monitored by the Order, meaning that they’ll be apprehended almost instantly once they emerge out ofFTL.
No matter how much Rose knows they’re doing the right thing,it doesn’t change how kriffing dangerousit is, nor how stupid.
She tells him as much.
“Son of Han Solo or not, you can’t fly a ship that’s, one, ina million pieces or, two, booted by C-Dot.”
“Then let’s not get booted.”
“Uh-uh,” Rose says, actually wagging a finger in the face ofKylo Ren, menace of the galaxy. “Let’s just boot them first.”
“It’s an expensive ship, but there aren’t torpedoes.”
“No, we can be cleverer than that.”
“We?”
“What do you know about electrical interference?”
A distant, slightly horrified look crosses his face. “Some.Biologically speaking.”
“That’s fine,” Rose says. “I know enough. What weapons do we have?”
“There’s a standard short-range IR-73 blast canon mountedunder the hull and a miniature rail gun under the cockpit,” he snaps, havingwritten enough reports on this shuttle to answer Rose’s question withoutreflection.
“Wow,” Rose says, flat and sarcastic, “I’m surprised it’snot an IR-80. And here I thought you liked your guns big.”
She turns towards the cockpit and Kylo huffs something likea laugh and follows without thinking. The IR-80 is the blast generator thatsits inside the surface cannons of a star destroyer. Mount one on a ship thissize and it’d blow you back twenty-thousand clicks every time you fired.
“That’s actually—”
“What General Hux suggested in the armaments meetingyesterday,” she finishes for him, giggling as she goes to tap her handheldsplicer into the cockpit’s consol. “I know.”
Kylo Ren tilts his head, looking for all the world like acurious dog. Rose raises her brows and jiggles the splicer in her hand, a small, satisfied smile dimpling her cheeks.
“Didn’t have a lot else to do. Thought I’d get intel, listeningin on the monitors, got a laugh instead.”
Rose ducks away to focus on her task, muttering and swearingunder her breath as she fights the override protocols coded into the ship.
“Okay, almost there.” She presses a button and swivels as ahatch opens nearby. “Grab us those PPE’s.” She points and Kylo obeys, largebody crossing the cabin’s vertical and horizontal space with little more than astretch. Rose doesn’t bemoan her stature, but she kind of wishes she could dothat.
Kylo Ren tosses her a suit and begins pulling his own on. “Theoscillator, right? From the life support block.”
“Yeah,” Rose says, pleasantly surprised by his deference toher orders. “We’ll vent the ship.”
“Then move it into the charging block of the rail gun.”
“I thought you said you didn’t know much about electricalinterference.”
“I don’t,” he says, zipping up the rubberized collar of thesuit. “But she does.”
This time Rose’s brows and lips scrunch up with her nose. “Youmean Rey again. You can say her name, you know.”
His eyes sweep down. Rose’s brain momentarily short-circuitsas she recognizes the look and color on his face. He’s…bashful? Embarrassed? Maker, she really doesn’t have time for whatever thisis.
“You know what?” She flicks a hand in front of herself, asif shooing a fly. “I’m not gonna worry about it.”
He seems relieved, nodding as he pulls on his helmet.
“For now,” she adds. Butjust try to stop me later.
Once they’re suited up, Rose presses another button and thehum of the shuttle’s engine vibrates just lower than before.
After a quick test of the suits’ comm system and asuspiciously synchronized nod, Rose initiates the depressurizing sequence andthey’re plunged into the echoey silence of the vacuum.
They work with minimal banter this time, careful to avoid jostlingthe oscillator and hooking it into the rail gun’s generator system withcareful, coordinated hands.
Rose explains in a soothing, even rhythm how the oscillatorwill charge the rail gun bolts with ionic energy. At the low-power setting she’sprogrammed into it, that will make the bolts effectively nonlethal, but perfectfor their intentions. The ionic charge will ripple through the systems of thetraffic monitoring stations and reverse the current on board for a fewmicroseconds. They’ll essentially have a small power surge, but won’t gooffline. If they time it right, they won’t even notice the shuttle at all. Ifthey time it wrong, they’ll notice the shuttle but not its missing tracker. They’ll get by on looks. It’s actually…she takes a moment to be proud ofherself. It’s actually a pretty foolproof plan.
To her surprise, Kylo Ren agrees.
What’s more, they manage to pull it off. Even in two layersof gloves and a terribly restricting helmet, Kylo is a damn good pilot, managing to target the nearest waystation within microseconds of their jump outof hyperspace. Doesn’t even use the tracking systems. Is that how the Forceworks? Rose will have to ask Rey.
Or, well, she guesses she could ask Kylo. Once this is over.
Once they’re past the scanning range of the traffic stationsand have returned the oscillator to life support, they hang around in thecockpit, PPE’s half-peeled off with the arms tied at their waists. Just in casethey have to suit up again. Kylo taps on the ship’s cloaking and spools hisbody comfortably into the co-pilot’s chair.
“Shouldn’t you be—?” Rose asks, gesturing to the otherchair.
His eyes flicker to hers in confusion, then it clicks. “Iusually don’t, uh—”
“Oh,” she says. Huh.
He stiffens, “I can—”
“No, that’s fine.”
He coughs low in his throat, looking away and running a handthrough his hair. Scrunched up like this, he actually looks capable of feelingself-conscious. Scratch that, he does look self-conscious. Rose recognizes it,feels sympathetic to it, even against her better judgment.
Things have been changing fast, recently. She’s starting togive up on fighting it anymore.
“Also, uh, ‘shut up’? Seriously?”
He shoots her an indignant look.
It doesn’t frighten her at all. And from what she can tellthrough her steely and unwavering gaze, he can tell. His face softens just alittle in response.
“It’s been…” Silence stretches out as his gaze falls out offocus, swimming through the endless mid-distance of space.
“One hell of a week,” she says, “I know.”
He leans back and kicks his feet up on the console. “Ofcourse you do.”
