THEO!!! there was nothing i could do abt the proportions on theo as a kid like i couldn't make his head any smaller... #the sims team actually hate me so bad and are trying to force the huge cartoonishly big heads onto my sims </3 #also when i aged him down to a kid like all of his presets were gone so i just had to try and replicate them to the best of my abilities #his lip preset actually has a much deeper cupid's bow but thanks to the liquify tool <33333 it looks like his regular preset #i've actually posted teen theo on here before but i've made a ton of changes to him since then so this version is pretty different compared #to the older version of him at sixteen #he's definitely got more baby fat than he did before like his cheeks are pretty round #um. also i have these closeups i took of adult theo from the pose i made for his birthday edit that i gotta edit a lil and then post!!! #bc you really didn't get to see his expression or the actual pose that well and EYEEEE personally am really in love with the details #of the pose itself like ugh.......... theo is so.......................... yeah. #holds him

sometimes i feel like i love a little too easily. not in the romantic sense, but just in general. the threshold to attain my love is incredibly low, i have a heart that's primed for love. i love my partner. i love my parents. i love my best friend. i love the friends i haven't spoken to in ages. i love my co-worker who brought her dog into the office on christmas eve even though she was off because she wanted to make me smile. i love the employee at dunkin who remembers my coffee order. i love the greeter at our local walmart who wears bright pink butterfly clips in her hair. i love the girl in the car next to me enthusiastically pointing at my dog to her friend in the passenger seat. i love random the tumblr user who reblogs my post with funny or kind tags. i love the mutual whom i hardly ever actually speak to but we tag each other in tag games/send asks/etc. i believe humans are inherently lovable.

i have been loved too well in my life to not love others, and while sometimes that love can be taken advantage of, at the end of the day the saying is true: it's better to have loved and lost than to never have loved at all. so i'll continue to love as i feel it, to express that love even if sometimes it isn't reciprocated, because i think it's beautiful thing to love other people, even if only in little bits.

#diana's music diary #good afternoon I'm very tired... #yesterday was okay enough.. maybe even good? Lancer was fun! Ophelia messed up really bad and now the crew is in danger!! yay!! #didn't do all that much else really... I was so exhausted and idk why... very happy to be a little over two months on T but boi despite no changes the hormonal mess it's causing has been taking me on a RIDE and next time is my first shot by myself i totally expect to either chicken out or suck it up and feel sick af afterwards

#beelio talks #two months no changes AT ALL except the one IYKYK #i've sure had bad nausea and stomach aches and palpitations all of which are 99.9% likely to be because of hormonal mess-induced stress #because it makes PMS and physical anxiety symptoms worse sdkjkln even though i'd never had palpitations before. CAN I CATCH A BREAK #palpitations actually got MUCH better after my dose was increased though. for whatever reason. hormones work in mysterious ways #dw i got my heart checked today to be safe #and it's all normal bike test and EKG and echography (boi that was weird to look at) and all #still likely doing a 24 hours test in a couple of months but yeah the four doctors and nurses who looked at me were not concerned at all #despite my heart rate being a bit too high #but that was likely the usual appointment stress and influenced by the bike test #i'm home now and it's back to my usual 70s-80s instead of the 115 it was back there lol #ANYWAYS #love being on T. hate the adjustment period. #i don't expect visible changes so fast btw! but when i say no changes i mean i also don't have the libido/hunger/warmth increase etc. #like if it wasn't for the one thing i'd think it doesn't work hahaha

Few things make Roman Sionis feel sad. Years ago, it might have been a different story; he was a very lonely child for the most part whose parents made it crystal clear to him how unwanted he was, how much harder he made their lives and berated him constantly for how he couldn’t even begin to live up to their lofty expectations. It wasn’t much better elsewhere; Roman had few friends even amongst the other children of Gotham’s upper class families, a little too ‘odd’ and cursed with no filter to be able to truly fit in. Fortunately there were a few positive influences during this time. A few employees hired to take care of the family household and chores treated Roman well enough, caring more about the child than his own parents did. It was the chauffeur who realized he’d gone missing during one particular party and ventured out into the forest to bring him back when he’d been bitten by a rabid raccoon, though had been threatened by Mr. and Mrs. Sionis to not speak about the incident or else lose her job. Receiving so little genuine consideration throughout his life has long since burnt out Roman’s ability to feel sadness, because if nobody ever felt sorry for him then why the fuck should he feel the same about anything (or anyone) else? He’s older now, capable of looking after himself and everything he’s got is entirely his own doing. He doesn’t need empathy, to give or receive and frankly, such feelings are only weaknesses to exploit in Gotham’s crime-ridden underbelly where everybody’s out to get you. On rare occasions, Roman will notice a child who is not happy, clearly not loved or cared for by their parent/s at all. It’s a stark reminder as to how he once was, a haunting memory of how he’d once been and had nobody in his corner. For the briefest of moments he’ll feel the sharp, painful sting of sadness, memories of times he’d thought he’d long since gotten over... until familiar rage overcomes him, wanting nothing more than to -lash out- at the closest thing. To Roman, anger is much more familiar and preferrable to grief.

Made a few changes to shelves today. Moved the cookbooks to the taller narrow shelf (my mom collected them and I'm not ready to get rid of the ones I'll never use for sentimental reasons). I'm using the shorter narrow shelf for gardening books and animal books; overflow can go onto the cookbook shelf if needed (assuming there's room).

haven't posted much today but i think at least some of y'all would appreciate a small update on the grand prix situation from yesterday

good news! i'm normal now. also i got my skates working again! i found some kinda chip stuck to one of the soles which is most likely what caused them to malfunction. dunno how the hell the babylon rogues stuck that there without me noticing but whatever. what's done is done. at least my skates still work. i don't know what i'd do with myself if they were actually broken

also it looks like the people running the whole thing caught wind of the cheating and are looking into it. they also sent all the racers that had to forfeit a consolation prize so that's nice i guess. doubt they'll be able to catch the rogues though. they probably already ran off with their prize and there's no way they're getting caught. but maybe they'll be barred from entering future races? who knows. i don't care as long as they leave me alone
