Globe Crowley Cosplay Build

I've been telling myself I'd do this for ages just to document the process and potentially help out anyone else who wants to go down this route so...

I'm going to start with Crowley because he was nominally a smidgen easier. Their outfits are exceedingly similar in this era so there will be a lot of overlap.

Both of them are wearing a doublet with paneled trunkhose, in case you'd like to go down the googling rabbit hole. But let's start at the top and work our way down.

For the wig I actually just nabbed a lace front one on Amazon. I was going to link the exact one but I've now bought so many long red hair wigs that I'm not sure which one it is (thanks Crowley)

Is this the right one? I don't know. I cannot emphasize enough that I have too many red wigs and it is exactly one demon's fault. Anyway, I do recall it parted in the middle and my friend @seedsofwinter helped me use glue to make it go back rather than down the middle because I ran out of time to add some hair to the front. I think I remember trimming it a bit, too.

The beard was just crepe wool, which I'm slowly practicing with for facial hair. The longer beard was a lot easier than the shorter stuff I've tried :D

The glasses were another find by seedsofwinter on Zenni Optical, but I'm seeing those exact frames are retired now. It may be possible to find a similar pair by looking for ones that are small and oval. Most of their glasses can be ordered as sunglasses with a prescription which is wonderful for Crowley cosplays.

A warning: If like me you use Crowley's sunglasses so you can actually see, these ones are horrible for that particular purpose. I think it may have to do with how small the lenses are, they let a lot of light in but you're still looking through darkened lenses and the end result is an inability to see well, but ironically particularly in bright light.

Onto the fun stuff! @tricksyspiritworld recommended the doublet pattern to me (and if you do not follow them, you should. They are a lovely person in addition to being a wonderful cosplayer).

If you want it accurate for Crowley, you do need to adjust the front so that it can layover to button and the neckline a bit. I found that once I added the added fabric for the button, all I needed to do on the neckline was fold it back to take off a triangle at the top and bam, exactly what I wanted. The bottom front also needs to be adjusted, but you can do that with the add-on pieces at the bottom rather than adjusting the main body of it. This is definitely a pattern to mock up and experiment with. I did a lot of tweaking and trying on with the final doublet as well to adjust it.

I don't have a good close up of the fabric, but I went for a black suede. If you look at HD images of Crowley's Globe outfit it's actually got a little bit of a pattern to it, but alas when I actually went to buy the fabric I couldn't find one with the slightly raised pattern and thus black suede it was.

Crowley's buttons actually have a red center, but I thought these were cute and seemed very him-like so I went with them <3 I like buttons :D

The shoulder pieces became known as the burnt croissants as I was working on them. Mine are two pieces of fabric and I honestly just measured my shoulder and then cut pieces that I *thought* would work and sewed them to try. Mine are stuffed with old fabric scraps to give them shape and make them poof.

For the under fabric I used the same black shiny lining fabric I used for the base of the trunkhose (we'll get there) and for the panels I used the same fabric I used for the doublet and panels on the trunkhose. And just... all the hand stitching and then pinning them on the doublet.

Do yourself a favor and pin this as many times as it takes to get it looking right while you're wearing it. You want the croissants to sit on TOP of your shoulder going upwards, not sliding down to your arm at all. Pin pin pin. Try it on. Pin again. Once you've got it where you want it, just slipstitch it into place.

And just like that, you've got yourself a doublet! Oh! Except one last detail. Crowley's actually got some white sneaking out at the wrist.

The amount of time I consider thinking about this bit of lace. Is it a bracelet? Was it a gift? Crowley, are you wearing Aziraphale's shirt? I have so many questions.

Anyway, I just sewed a bit of lace to the end of the jacket sleeve, because I didn't trust myself to always remember a lace-cuffed shirt.

Anyway, let's move on to some fancy smancy pants.

You'll note, these don't include the panels. They also include some historical additions that I decided to leave off and just simplify the pattern as much as possible.

So for the trunkhose base, I used the included pattern, tried them on, adjusted, adjusted, adjusted. (the real reason I don't sell cosplay commissions is that I adjust too much).

For the base, I used a shiny, shiny lining fabric and lined it on the inside with cotton to give it some strength. For the panels, I used the same pattern but once I cut the fabric, I measured it in two inch pieces and then cut every two inches. I lost a little length to the seam allowance when I added some of the base lining for a backing, and then I started pinning the panels to see what would look right.

The panels should line the entire top, and overlap a bit at the sides at the top. On the bottom, there's going to be some overlap and this is hard to describe but you'll want to start the panels at the front rather than between your legs, but very, very close to being between your legs so that you cover everything. Again with the pin in, try it on, pin it again. I did one leg at a time because omg it's so many panels. So. So. Many. I think there are twelve per leg? It's a lot. Take your time, pin and adjust before you sew them all into place at the top and bottom. Do NOT sew them anywhere in the middle of the fabric.

Also, I advise making an extra panel or two (or three). They can catch and really I think it's a miracle we haven't accidentally ripped one off yet.

Underneath the trunkhose, Crowley has a pair of short trousers which you could sew or... hear me out you can buy a pair of loose capri leggings and then just hem them up. Do yourself a favor and get leggings with POCKETS. Because POCKETS and cosplay. Yes? Pockets!

Add some black thigh high socks and then the shoes. I never did find accurate shoes within my budget so I'm wearing the ones I wore for Bastille Crowley, which I found at TJ Maxx like three years ago in the clearance section. (None of us will be looking at your feet, it's fine)

Ok ok ok here's the thing, this might be more than you bargained for because it's not four costumes, it's four years worth of costumes and inspired looks I have too many of those lets not talk about that.

Break so I can insert some pictures where I have them.

You see, I started cosplaying Crowley in 2019, like half of the rest of this fandom. I saw the show, I made my best friend watch it, she asked if Aziraphale and Crowley could be our Halloween costume for the year, I agreed exclusively on the grounds I could be Crowley, and the rest is essentially history.....except it's not because if my life isn't one cosmic joke what's the point right. My hair was purple at the time and I insisted I wasn't going to dye it for this, despite everyone I knew asking about it. So we did Halloween, at speed, mind you, so it was more about does it look like them rather than does it look like them, but doing these costumes gave me brain rot bad.

This is genuinely one of the best photos I'm going to be able to share with you rn, because someone took these photos of me intentionally. My best friend/Aziraphale had prior plans and this kinda got dropped on me like what costume can you wear to go to the cemetery approximately now.

In December, I started dying my hair red, we're all laughing because it's funny.

Obviously this was right before the plague times and I was still in undergrad at the time. We had a socially distanced halloween party the next year between the costume and scene shops, and I wore basically the same thing, just with doc martens and sfx contacts that time because I was working on a much larger costume for my undergrad capstone (tho not my history capstone, that was tragically different.) I started working on a late Victorian women's ensemble in black and green that was intended to be versatile enough to be both historically accurate in settings that needed it, while also being able to be an all out cosplay, just an inspired one. I didn't actually get good picture of it until late last year when I had shifted into what I call "stupidly" red hair dye and cut my hair (I was in grad school when s2 filming pictures started to come out, it does something to your brain, you make interesting choices during Thanksgiving break.)

(Enjoy a rare film photo of @christinedieae and I, we were working on these outfits together, and mostly in the same work space in 2021, so it was a mission to photograph these two together because they were so different on the dress forms.)

In 2021, I attended Ren Fair for the first time and made pirate inspired looks for my best friend and I. Tragically I don't have any photos from this year other than us at like 8am in my driveway and I'm not willing to share them rn but I made this full length sleeveless coat with fabric i found at joanns that year that has snakes and roses. I also wore it last year but it was very cold and windy that day so the only photo of me is my "Anakin storming the temple" look, peak my red wig and the best garment I've ever made, my cloak.

Then, some of my favorite ren fair looks from last year. The halo is one of the single best purchases I've made while costuming, and at this point its been a while.

The only down side to ren fair is that I'm often without an Aziraphale, as my best friend has become a bird (this is a genuine logistical challenge and at times takes between three and four of us to manage at the fair grounds so my full length snake skirt might not be returning to the fair this year.) Said bird also steals my glasses.

Here's another look with selections pulled from my historical wardrobe for a wizarding event at the museum I work at last year. This was the first time anyone I worked with saw my contacts and I have found it's good to warn people who know me because they find it a serious jumpscare. Some adults also have opinions, but kids really seem to like them.

And then some silly things from an event we attended in May last year. It was Friday the 13th and easily 100 degrees. I made Aziraphale's waistcoat in a week because I wasn't insane enough already (when you get motivation to do something you take it idk). On an even bigger my life is a cosmic joke note, when the first s2 pictures came out with the leather waistcoat I got in my closet and finally begrudgingly admitted my mom was right, because I had a leather waistcoat she had given me from the 80s.

I feel like I might have posted some of these photos here before, I remember asking for an "angel ( )" caption for my friend dressed as Castiel, and the groupchat soundly rejecting "angel (homosexual)" as too non-specific. It was very hot, we descended into insanity by the end of the night, a group of girls recognized us while we were trapped in the middle of this tiny candy store, chaos at its finest. This is also the night where someone referred to our group as the "most attractive group of queer people" they'd ever seen, and thus named our group chat.

I know there have been sooooo many more, some combination of all of this is how I dress on the daily so I'm kinda always testing new or inspired looks. And our ren fair opens this weekend, and I've been working on making and acquiring some fun new things for some new looks this year, so I'll have more looks very soon.

The last thing I can leave you with, I suppose, is this. I'm going to a wedding in October with costumes encouraged, but all black is off the table. SO I'm recreating an Edwardian gown in a red silk I found that is cross woven with black threads so it has this shift to it while still looking red, the silk is called Omen.

My darling Aziraphale is @jesterjamboree as always. @frameratess also appears here, and is often the only one of us remembering to take pictures. And already mentioned is @christinedieae, we egg each other on with our crazy ideas.

Alrighty this one's kind of a weird ride lol.

So my original intention was to do a brand new demeter design for my cosplay, but I very quickly found out I was too stupid to make my own wig, so I decided to kind of combine mostly 98, and a tiny bit of vienna and asia tour for my complete costume aesthetic. I mention this because one of my first makeup looks is VERY different from where I'm at right now.

So the very first time I tried makeup at all I didn't have facepaint, I just used actual makeup I had in the house lol and as you can imagine it's REALLY BAD (I've also lost weight since then so hello chubby cheeks) but I still look back fondly on this pic because I took the leap and tried something at all. It was very exciting. Jan 2021.

From there I bought facepaint, and for my very first time putting facepaint on I just improvised a design which I guess is kind of early US tour inspired? I still like this design but I don't think it would go well with my current wig, and it's about the look as a whole for me, so I never went back to this design. Naturally terrible application because I'd never used facepaint before haha. This is about a week after the first one.

I really like this one too, but once again I wasn't quite happy with it. My facepaint skills improved really fast as you can see. It's really about confidence. I've gone back and forth borrowing elements from this one repeatedly. Still using the black nose literally only because I was too cheap to buy another color lol. Didn't have a wig yet either so thus far I didn't spend a lot of time working around my face like on my cheeks and whatnot. Feb 2021

I got my wig so I shifted gears and tried to emulate the 98 makeup more but the crisp lines in that look are intimidating(they had a professional makeup artist after all) and so I left a lot of details out, but it was nice to see makeup combined with a wig finally. May 2021.

On Halloween I added the rest of the 98 makeup details(but kept the bigger brows) and I wasn't happy with the fake eye crease shape in the end, and so much black and white close together on my lower eyelids was really difficult to keep crisp especially in warmer weather, because I have so many eye folds. Like my eyes just make the white paint straight up disappear lmfao. Overall I started getting more comfortable doing facepaint though. I went pretty bold with the cheek lines and whatnot that day. Also tried fake lashes. Oct 2021.

From here I decided to tailor it more towards my features without sacrificing too much of the 98 vibe. My makeup application got a lot cleaner and I adapted the fake eye crease to fit my eye shape and simplified the lower eye territory to make up for my eyes constantly swallowing paint. It still takes LAYERS of white paint to get it to stick, but it's much more doable. I felt like the big brows were a little aggressive, and I was more focused on 98 like I said, so I went with the daintier brows this time. Overall there's nothing wrong with this look, but the second time I applied it (the time I went to the show) I just wasn't feeling it as much. I think it ended up being a tiny bit too simple. Jan 2022.

So that brings us to where we're at right now. Same eye shape as above, but bringing back more black eyeshadow, elongating the inner eye corners, and extending the wings to meet the brows. Also brought back the stronger eyebrows. Also brought the cheek markings in way further/made them a bit more blockier to add to the contrast. It's a bit more dramatic/feels a little less juvenile but still has the same overall vibe as the previous one. I think I'm happy with it. May 2022. :)

I do have some plans to do kind of random design applications when I get bored. Like I plan on doing a more heavily goth inspired look one day but I keep putting it off because I'm lazy lol. But yeah for my "official" look this is where I'm at right now.

Also I just noticed I kept flip flopping the direction of the whiskers on the muzzle hahaha interesting.

Also this is basically every single time I've put cat makeup on except like two or three other times times. So that's like, what, around 10 times in total? So clearly I got comfy using face paint very quick. Still takes me about an hour and 10 mins every single time though lol. I don't think I'll ever whittle the time down simply because I have to sit literally INCHES away from the mirror to see what I'm doing because my eyesight is so bad. But that's ok.

Also I’m really glad I started painting more around my face/forehead to really integrate the wig. It makes such a difference.

Anyway yeah lol hope this inspires some people to try out cat makeup I guess haha

Recently, I got the chance to cosplay the coach that I'm kin with. No one recognized the cosplay, but there was still something so freeing about it.

When night hit, and it was time for me to go to bed...other than my tight wig cap giving me a headache, I really didn't want to take any of it off. I'd really, truly felt like me again. Like I'd found myself again after being hidden away for so long.

I still have every piece of the cosplay. I've been tempted to wear little bits and pieces of it again, just so I can feel that again. But people would notice, and ask questions.

I find that I can't stop looking at the photos I took of myself in the cosplay. I really did look like me. I took as many photos as I could, posing for all of them in the way I would've posed for photos in that outfit in my memories.

And as I sat on the bed that night, I felt this deep sense that there was something still missing. That there was something left for me to do that day, that something wasn't right. But I shook it off, and tried to sleep.

I realize now, it was a couple things. One, it was a sense of longing, wondering when I'd ever be able to dress like that again. But more importantly, the thing that was "missing"...was my old life. It felt downright uncanny to look exactly like I did back then, but live life normally like I do now.

And I wonder if I'll ever love a photo of myself the way I love those cosplay photos ever again.

2023 fandom rambling

2023 was really the year of going back to my roots aka my 2000s favs. been rereading KHR, DGM, 666 Satan, Psyren, DOGS, rewatched ParaKiss, replayed Zero Escape VLR and at the tail end of it I'm back into TeniPuri. I didn't draw a lot for them in 2023 but I sure was reading lol.

gonna try to bring all my old cosplays back in 2024 cus wtf.

I mean I'm already working on TYL!Bel cus I made his teen version in the late 2000s - early 2010s, it only feels fitting. I also made a TYL version at the time but we don't talk about that nightmare. It was so bad lmfao.

And Lavi was my first-ever cosplay back in 2008. It's funny as fuck that I met my first girlfriend because we were both cosplaying him at the same con and we collected every version of him, we even had the Deak version. I only knew one of the other Lavi-cosplayers beforehand cus of a mutual on LJ. It was a blast.

Finally FINALLY cosplayed from 666 Satan in 2023 with my friend Ren. Only been planning on doing so since the late 2000s. It felt so exciting to finally do it. Cross and Jio were finally done, even if my boot zipper decided to fucking BREAK right when I needed it lmao. The timing was so awful, god damn. Already at the con and everything. Learning how to make Cross' wings was a trip.

I found my old Heine jacket from when me, Ren and my gf at the time (aforementioned fellow Lavi cosplayer) cosplayed Heine, Badou and Naoto. It was crumbling. Faux leather doesn't hold as well, does it? In 2023 me and twin got to tear up grampa's old red leather couch though and you know what that means? I'm gonna try to remake Heine's jacket in 2024 using real leather taken from that old couch. The back was still smooth and completely useable. And with how many seams are in that jacket the pieces don't need to be big.

As for Tenipuri the wig I had for Shiraishi was terrible, you remember early 2000's ebay wigs and how THICK they were. I had a Sengoku wig but I gave it away to a friend who needed a last minute wig for Yata from Psycho-Pass (I'm pretty sure) cus my head looked gigantic in it cus of how thick it was, and Yata wears a beanie so it wasn't as noticeable lol. I still have like 5 different Bunta wigs oops. Cus none were 100% what I wanted until the last one.

As I mentioned. Early 2000s ebay wigs. Quality shit.

Summer 2024 I'm planning on cosplaying Clover from Zero Escape. I am so fucking psyched. For once I'm not gonna be melting cus of a sweaty cosplay (like the time me and Ren cosplayed Bel and Squalo at a summer convention, sweating dying will bullets (though at least Bel's jacket is open lmao, win for me) and dying cus it was so mindnumbingly hot). I mean, the woman doesn't wear a whole lot of clothes in VLR. Been a while since I've worn such a revealing cosplay.

I of course did a lot of SB69 stuff and some Mars Red and miscellanious which is more recent but consumptionwise I was placed quite firmly in the stuff I loved so dearly in the 2000s.

Happy new year to me, apparently it's somehow 2010 again!

favorite time of year: anything but summer. I could say fall and spring because it has pleasant weather, but I love cold temperatures, so winter is too.

comfort food: I'll name 3, one for each season I like. Polenta for fall, which is corn flour cooked with boiled water and on top tomato sauce and grated cheese. Home-made ramen for winter. And Milanesas for spring (as I am veggie, they are made of eggplant, beans, or something like that)

do you collect something?: Yup, I collect role dice set. I already have 17 sets and may add new ones in October if I found the Halloween-themed dice I want. Also wigs, but they are here because I cosplay sometimes. I have 20 of those, in many colors.

favorite drink: what I drink the most is water, but aside from that, I love guaraná soda and for alcoholic drinks, sex on the beach.

favorite song: this one is hard, cause it changes all the time, I listen to a lot of music of very different genres, I'm literally this meme but anything from Bowie is always on my top 5, I'm in love with that man's voice since I can remember.

current favorite song: I'll name a top five, cause I couldn't pick just one: Girasol (sunflower) by David Rees, Starman by Bowie, Rosenrot by Faun, More by KDA, and The Witch's Daughter by Ashley Serena

favorite fic: I can't name just one. I mean, I've been reading fanfics for more than ten years now, there are tons I will like to mention.

They're doing this crazy Broadway stuff cuz he mentioned it the other day and he said that he wanted to promote it a little and we are and his character and Hera went down this morning late this morning to Broadway and we're looking for a particular act and particular theater and they found it where it was supposed to be and they went in and they knew who you make a donation to they said we'd like to make a donation I said you can call them or I can get them online and we said we'd like to make a sizable donation and I said please wait a minute and they came out and it was the actors and actresses and the producer himself introduced himself and we shook hands and it says what is it that you need and we heard it on TV that you were looking for funding for your aunt he said we need about a million dollars a day and we estimated it's about right because they have all sorts of expenses that they don't have back then and I need security and tons of tons of eyes on them and it's true and they actually televised it these days so he said how many days are you running for is 14 days more so we gave him 14 million dollars and I give him a million dollars extra and they said thank you very much this is very generous and said it is a very nice job that you do interesting and educational and relaxing and we hope to see you there and they said would you like tickets and said we can buy them online or call up and purchase them and wigs at the ticket agent person and we went over and bought tickets and they said what a lady in a gentleman and they actually said gentleman and a lady so we left and a smiling and we drove off and a brand new Maserati and they said who is that and they're laughing and they said we think it's Mr Maserati and it's not and I had the name was on the check and it's for one of their local banks and they went in and they put it in there immediately and it cleared about an hour ago and I said holy cow this guy is having people donate so they're putting this up there on TV so people will donate to the arts and people don't understand that it costs a lot more money you need to have security in the area and you need to have sensing and all sorts of things to prevent an incident from happening and it's very important to New York City and even us and it looks like Tommy f and it is and we're supposed to be upset but we're not cuz they still need more funding and it's odd because he's kind of doing the job against himself and I don't think he believes the clones are against him no.

And yes I crept in there a little bit I had a lot of fun this morning because it helps us and they didn't think so and they don't get it but that's fine and also I'm starting the carnival circus superhero carnival circus and there's other characters but really they're still in this genre of fiction as opposed to just clowns and he has a son working on it it's our son actually he says and I know that and it's pennywise and we asked pound foolish that was me she's an in law and we've done a lot of work they said and that's great that's perfect we need it and we like your ideas and tons of ideas are coming in it's going to be huge and we have a traveling circus now and changing the rides out and changing the art on them and it is working we're going to use all the stuff we have it's finally happening and it's going to happen I've been big big way tons of people want this superhero stuff and we sell it online since gigantic market huge amounts of stuff and some maneuvers tons of superheroes show up and they have gear they actually use it and it works he sell cosplay at the circus and we sell year and we sell the cars and the bikes we can have big towers and people can pay for it and then they can have this big gold coin they put in for it bring it out. nightly parades like the joker did. This is going to be intense and pennywise said the last three sentences and I'm back and it's Hera, and we're putting together all sorts of things to make it work and we're trying to find a locations if cities want to have the entertainment center please call up and volunteer location or notify us of one that might be for sale or at least or alone or even from the city and we'd be happy to show up and we're getting phone calls from San Francisco Los Angeles San Diego and Arizona some cities Texas some cities there and the South and a couple cities in a city from Florida believe it or not and yes it's Tampa and from the mayor so we're going to meet with them and we'll meet with Tampa right away.

This is fantastic we have a lot of work to do again we're doing tons of construction and this is bring It up to speed too huge huge amounts of people are signing up our people too that's what we're talking about and we have a massive number of people signing up most of it is really due to the dire situation that the people here on Earth are in and because of the plea from Hera and Zeus mainly Zeus this time they could hear it in his voice and he reminds people even us but really other people this is how I saved you this is who you are and your lineage and the vessels a very similar to what is below the Earth here like the east and west coast of America and Saudi Arabia those ships are what your and my father and mother used to escape the solar system the same thing and must not ever fall into their hands or even be seen on one skin and those are edicts that I want sent out and I want the entire public to hear and see it and it has to be written in the way we can send it to everyone and they say we can and it's going to happen today and that's what it's all about

Last year I decide to participate in #FallForCostume , an Instagram daily cosplay/costuming october challenge by @redthreaded . I posted them on my Instagram stories, but decided to post them here as well~

Day 10 - 18. Descriptions under the read more.

10. Recycled

This cosplay is completely made of stuff I had lying around. Old fabrics (from scrapped projects or stuff my mum still had), fabric scraps, stuff that was going to be thrown out. The only new things are the wig, the geta paint and the iron-on reinforcement for the bow. Still pretty proud of it~

11. Pink

Some pink shades are hard to find (in wigs anyway...) I had been looking for this exact shade for years for some other project, but couldn't find it anywhere. It almost made me not even start on this project... Until I found it @coscraft-uk !!! Official Art is free use as long as it is not used for monetary gain, and I will never ask anyone for money for my pictures, and I was told I am the only person that actually credits the official animators and artists. Each image of the anime is directly ripped RAW Japanese versions, that are ages old by the way. There are probably better ones out there now. Because had these when the English dub hadn’t came out on my Windows XP. About that, they should be in 1080, but since they were used into WMM I had to recolor all of them and increase their quality myself. I don’t like taking screenshots from YouTube like most people do. Not only do I increase the quality but there are assets I enjoy changing them from the anime. Most people can’t even tell it’s changed because it’s “that good” they say. The only thing I ask if you are sharing my edits, just credit me for taking to time to increasing the resolution, ripping, and alters. I do a lot of screen-stitching also. There’s a lot of them and some I haven’t even posted. But here are some of my favorites -

Besides that, I also like posting basic screen caps with my watermark on it. Because I did it. I don’t have to explain myself on that. Because it originated from my RAW rips, I have every right to credit the official animators and myself for doing the work. I see a lot of people post their watermarks on official images, even when it comes to illegal manga scan sites. I don’t see anyone complaining about that.

If you see my watermark on it, like Max’s it’s because I have his permission to slightly alter it as a Profile Picture! - and I usually have their credit or their watermark on it also whether in the image or in the description! Since Max intentionally made art for me also, it’s kinda a given.

I always see @redrobelover talk about bullying and certain fandoms. I can tell you what I see.

Here is what I see most of -

People “bully” others if someone is asking where a certain fan art came from - With absolutely no intent to steal it. They know they didn’t make the art.

But as soon as someone constantly credits each individual animator, they don’t care and the official animators are swept under the rug. These people are paid, just like fan artists. But they are way less known. I hardly ever see anyone talking about the animators of InuYasha. When they do, it makes me very happy and excited.

They also think it’s okay for someone to share Fan Art from a person that intentionally left because of drama like this. Basically, “this person left, probably because their art was being stolen and sold on Chinese merchandise. But I’m going to share it anyway.” And to them, that’s completely fine.

Can you see where all this hypocrisy is?

I’ll tell you all a story. Our friend was from Tumblr since 2009. I won’t give out her identity, but a lot of these people know. And she recognizes a lot of this toxicity and drama. She used to write a lot of fan-fictions and became really well-known. She was a very popular role-player.

She knows and can name people, can predict how people are -exactly- on here.

Well she actually left because people wouldn’t stop fighting, making fake accounts to go and attack everyone. This stuff is stupid. I just don’t get what’s so fun in that.

A story about me.

I had a friend on here I knew for years. She used to take a lot of my edits and I wouldn’t say anything because she was my friend. Even if it bugged me, I felt like she wasn’t doing any harm in that. All I asked of her was to at least tell me or credit me. Which I don’t think she ever did. It was always odd to find out from another person that she was doing this, or stumbling upon it myself.

The sad part was, I saw her as a really close friend of mine. And when my life began ta change dramatically I went and told her everything. I wrote a whole novel for her. In hopes that she was going to be supportive of my life changes and choices I was making during my transition and the person I am meant ta be with. Like most of my friend are supportive of it and asked me a whole buncha questions about it. They were happy.

Unfortunately I never got the ecstatic answer from her. Instead she ghosted on me and I think blocked me. I never understood why. But I was told it was probably because we have the same mind set in a lot of things. So I will never hate on her ever. I don’t have a reason to. I just wished things like that was better.

We are all a family. We all like InuYasha. InuYasha is supposta be a safe space.

Something I wrote in August 20th, 2018

My name is InuYasha, yes legally. Yes I'm the only person on record with that name in the US atleast. I am a transman. I've been on hormones for two years now! 💪💉 Damn those "emojis" look hella weird... August 2016 was when I started my hormones. Anyway. I'm in a relationship with @officialkagome , her name is Kagome she's a transwoman! I really came around on YouTube 2007 as TheHanyouInuYasha, now displayed as "OfficialInuYasha". I also run the FaceBook group "Official InuYasha Group" which is increasingly popular and extremely active with almost 5,000 members now! My sister really helped push me to go for the doctor's appointment for my transgender diagnosis in order for me to start my hormones. The series InuYasha really helped me get in touch with my true self, as InuYasha I see myself as one with. Being an outcast and having to make my own world was very, very difficult. I went through a lot of depression and anger during certain times and was told I could not be "InuYasha" because they told me I was a "girl". Just like in the series how the ignorant people also pestered InuYasha being half demon, that it was "unnatural" to them. I continued on, struggling as InuYasha. I started cosplaying InuYasha around 2005. I remember going to my neighbors house to watch it pre-recorded in Japanese dub! I was only about 10 years old. My grandma helped me make my first outfit. We made the top from a Wizard robe and Dancer pants patterns. I have gone through four different outfits, now 7 wigs, and 6 different Tetsusaigas. My current wig was made by Alichii from deviantART since 2004 based on Katie Bairs method, made from 3 different wigs. A historical wig. My current outfit is the Officially licensed VIZ Media outfit! It's my treasure. Kagome in the series really helped me alot to learn and to love. I have had many issues with haters, stalkers and copycats. Keh! But that won't stop me!

We are BOTH trans! He gets me, And he waited for me just as long as I waited for him. There is so much coincidence in our meeting. It's haunting. He looks at me, a pile of my trauma; and he loves my broken pieces back together. InuYasha has ALWAYS come for me, and I may have lost faith; but I am glad I didn't.
