#onthisday in 1946 the first Hawker Sea Fury Mk X flew. Powered by the Bristol Centaurus 18 engine the Mk X had a top speed of 465 mph, range of 710 miles with a service ceiling of 36,000 ft.

Hawker Sea Fury | Classic Warbirds
The Sea Fury had its roots in the Hawker Tempest Mk III, which would become the Hawker Fury to meet Specification F.2/42, then to meet a revised Specification F.2/43. The Royal Navy were also interested in the aircraft and the design was modified to meet Royal Navy Specification N.7/43. Hawker would work on the Royal Air Force design, named the Fury, while Boulton Paul would work on the naval version, the Sea Fury.
Six prototypes had been ordered by the end of 1943, with one kept back to be used as a test airframe. Two would be powered by the Rolls-Royce Griffon engine, another two powered by the Bristol Centaurus XXII engine and the final prototype would have the Bristol Centaurus XII engine. The 1st September 1944 saw the first of the prototypes fly, when the Bristol Centaurus XII engined version made its first flight. This was followed a couple of months later by one of the Rolls-Royce Griffon powered prototypes which flew on the 27th November 1944, with a Napier Sabre VII engine replacing the Rolls-Royce Griffon fitted to the aircraft later on.
Tumblr media
During April 1944 production contracts were placed for 200 Hawker Furys for the Royal Air Force and 200 Hawker Sea Furys for the Fleet Air Arm, of which Boulton Paul would build 100. As the Second World War (1939 – 1945) ended the RAF cancelled their order, but development of the Sea Fury carried on. The first Sea Fury prototype flew on the 21st February 1945 powered by the Bristol Centaurus XII engine and featured an arrester hook. It wouldn't be for another eight months until the first fully navalised Hawker Sea Fury prototype flew when, powered by a Bristol Centaurus XV engine, it took to the skies on the 12th October 1945.
During January 1945 the Boulton Paul contract for 100 Sea Furys had been cancelled which left 100 on order. Half of these were completed as Sea Fury Mk Xs, with the first example flying on the 7th September 1946, and the third aircraft was sent to HMS Victorious (R38) during late 1946, early 1947 for trials. Powered by the Bristol Centaurus 18 engine the Sea Fury Mk X had a top speed of 465 mph, range of 710 miles with a service ceiling of 36,000 ft. Armament was four 20mm cannons. The Sea Fury entered service in August 1947, when No. 803 Naval Air Squadron, Royal Canadian Navy received the type to replace their Supermarine Seafires, with Nos. 778 and 787 Naval Air Squadron of the Fleet Air Arm receiving theirs the next month.
Tumblr media
The Sea Fury FB.11 was the next variant and was the most produced. Powered by a 2,480-hp Bristol Centaurus 18 engine, it had a top speed of 460 mph, range of 700 miles and a service ceiling of 35,800 ft. Armament consisted of four 20mm cannons, twelve 3-in rocket projectiles and 2,000lb bombs.
The Hawker Sea Fury, along with the Fairey Firefly, would provide the 'heavy attack' element for the Royal Navy and would be used during the Korean War (1950 – 1953) and a Sea Fury shot down a MiG-15 on the 9th August 1952. One of the few piston-engined aircraft to shoot down a jet aircraft.
Tumblr media
By the time production ended 860 Hawker Sea Furys had been built and it was the last piston-engined fighter to serve with the Fleet Air Arm, staying in service until 1953. A number of aircraft were also converted to Sea Fury T.20 two-seater trainers during 1950.

Dissidia Final Fantasy: Opera Omnia Dare 2 Defy Event Part 3
The second Dare to Defy event, Dare 2 Defy, just started in the Dissidia Final Fantasy: Opera Omnia (DFFOO) mobile game. This is a global original event that features 7 Shinryu (level 300) quests.
Tumblr media
Table of Contents
Introduction
Dare 2 Defy III Shinryu Quest
Conclusion
Introduction
If you use a char on 1 Dare 2 Defy quest, then you can’t use them anymore on the other fights in this event.
You can’t bring a friend support to these fights. Each quest needs to be Perfected (meaning get the score and all the other mission requirements on the same run) in order to get all the rewards.
Tumblr media
The bosses featured on these quests are the same as the ones that have recently shown up in the game.
Dare 2 Defy III Shinryu Quest
Also known as Dare 2 Defy III. This fight has 1 wave with 2 enemies, the Crane Cruels. This quest is the same as the The Power of Tenacity Shinryu one.
Decided to solo this fight with Sice from Final Fantasy Type-0 (#ad). My summon was The Brothers. My Call was Lunafreya Nox Fleuret’s from Final Fantasy XV.
Tumblr media
Lunafreya’s regular Call heals the party while her LD Call will give Sice 3 turns in a row.
Have Sice’s 15cp, 35cp, Ex, LD, and FR fully MLB. Her Ex has been Purpled. She doesn’t have her own Burst weapon yet.
Have Sice’s High Armor, and it’s been Realized to 0/3. All of her Summon Boards and her LD Boards have been completed.
She has her Bloom Stone. She has triple perfect Artifacts and triple RF Spheres. She has up to Level 15 of her Force Enhancements.
Sice is boosted for this fight. She’s currently equipped with my Level 5 of 5 Special or Unique-type Ultima Weapon. Sice is a DPS who deals dark elemental damage. She also has traps in her kit.
Sice has an evasion buff. None of the enemies here have attacks that are guaranteed to hit so as long as Sice has her evasion buff up, she’ll be able to avoid any and all of the attacks of the Crane Cruels.
Since Sice only has up to Level 15 of her Force Enhancements, had to wait for a while before my force gauge was fully charged. In the meanwhile, just used Sice’s basic skills while making sure her evasion buff was always active.
Used her Ex ability whenever it was up but avoided using her LD, which would set up her traps, for now.
The force gauge of the enemies hit 100% first. They got to use their force attack and go into their force time but there was no danger at all since Sice was able to avoid all their attacks.
Tumblr media
Once my force gauge was finally fully charged, had Sice use Lunafreya’s LD Call. Then I activated her FR and used her LD and her Additional Ability.
The enemies got to move a lot. Every time they moved, Sice’s traps went off and the HP damage bonus of her FR went up.
Ended up basically just watching while the enemies got multiple turns in a row. Their attacks always missed while Sice’s traps went off and dealt lots of damage to them. Whenever Sice got to move, made sure to refresh her traps and evasion buff.
By the time I only have 1 turn of force time left, the HP damage bonus was at 745%. The enemies were down to 48% and 51% HP.
Tumblr media
Decided to summon The Brothers already. The on-entry attack of The Brothers took the enemies down to 41% and 43% HP.
Tumblr media
After my force time ended, was back to waiting until my force gauge charged back up to 100% again. By the time my force gauge was once again fully charged, the enemies were down to 31% and 33% HP. Their force gauge was at 76.0%.
Tumblr media
Activated Sice’s FR for the second time. Like before, just made sure to keep Sice’s traps and evasion buff up and active. Then just sat back and watched as the enemies got multiple turns in a row.
Tumblr media
The HP of the enemies kept on going down as my HP damage bonus went up and Sice’s traps dealt more and more damage.
Soon, the enemies were down to 11% and 13% HP. Have 6 turns of force time left and the HP damage bonus was at 465%.
Tumblr media
By now Sice was all out of uses of her LD and her second skill. She only has 3 more uses of her first skill left. The enemies were still set to get multiple turns after her so it didn’t really matter that she was running out of skills.
Soon, the HP damage bonus had gone up to 548%. Have 5 turns of force time left. The enemies were now down to 4% HP. They were still moving so Sice’s traps were still going off and dealing lots of damage.
Tumblr media
By the time the HP damage bonus had gone up to 568%, one of the enemies had been finished off by Sice’s traps.
Tumblr media
The last enemy had been left with 1% HP. By the time Sice finally got a turn, the HP damage bonus was at 578%. She had more than enough brave to be able to finish off the last enemy, ending the battle on turn 23.
Tumblr media
Got the score and all the other mission requirements which also got me the Perfect.
Tumblr media
This fight was really easy. Sice did so well. Glad that I was able to solo this quest with Sice even though mine wasn’t fully built at all.
Tumblr media
Conclusion
So, what about you? Which chars did you use to complete these Shinryu quests? Feel free to share your thoughts and opinions by leaving a comment below or by reblogging or replying to this post.

Cyber Crime during online recruitment examination
Gurmeet Singh v. State of Punjab
Before Hon’ble Punjab & Haryana High Court at Chandigarh
Anticipatory bail Petition was dismissed on 21.07.2023
FIR u/s 420, 465, 438, 471, 120-B, 409 IPC & Sec. 66-D of Information Technology (Amendment) Act 2008
 Case of the Petitioner
Apprehending arrest petitioner Gurmeet Singh moved anticipatory bail application as the petitioner was granted interim bail on 10.04.2023. Allegations levelled against the petitioner is that he found out candidates who could solve the online question-paper of the examination for the recruitment of Police Sub Inspectors in the State of Punjab, and was also running the center from where the examinations center was hacked.
Contention of the Petitioner’s Counsel
He is seeking bail on the ground that the evidence collected against him relates to the disclosure statement of accused Ankit, who was mentioned as accused in the disclosure statement of Laveneesh Gupta, and therefore this evidence is inadmissible.
Contention of the State’s Counsel
Anticipatory bail petition of the petitioner be not allowed as they want the custodial investigation to know the role of other people involved in the recruitment scams, including the beneficiaries, as this scam has already derailed the recruitment process for Sub Inspectors.
Background
1.    The SHO, Police Station Anaaj Mandi, Patiala, received secret information on 16.09.2021 that online examinations
for recruitment of various departments were conducted at the center at Infra IT Solutions, Zila Parishad Complex, Patiala, and some hackers have hacked the computers.
2.    The informant further informed that, one candidate Gurpreet Singh had secured the highest marks, and he had given his examination from the center of Infra IT Solutions, and Gurpreet Singh had not secured marks because of merits but because a gang of cyber criminals had hacked computer centers and someone else had remotely solved his question paper. He secured the highest marks by paying massive amounts of money to the cyber-thugs
3.    Based on this information, the police registered an FIR during the investigation, candidate Gurpreet Singh was arrested and during investigation several other people involved in the crime were also arrested.
4.    Ankit, one of the arrested accused informed the investigator the involvement Gurmeet Singh, the present petitioner. He informed that the center was initially run by Jasvir Sigh who had left sometime back thereafter it was run by Gurmeet Singh who used to make entries of the candidates for examination.
5.    The High Court on 06.07.2023 had directed the concerned Deputy Superintendent of Police to show the evidence collected against the present petitioner. Dy S P submitted evidence collected by way of Affidavit. Affidavit corroborated the statement of the other accused Ankit.
Observation of the Court
1.    The petitioner seeks anticipatory bail on the grounds of parity with the co-accused. A perusal of the order reveals that the co-accused were granted regular bail, and one ground for their bail was prolonged custody. On the contrary, the petitioner is seeking anticipatory bail; as such, he is not entitled to bail on parity.
2.    This Court considered the evidence collected after disclosure statements of co accused which point out three relevant facts: -
(i)The petitioner had worked with the said center.
(ii) After Jasvir Kumar left the center, the petitioner had worked there.
(iii) There are various communications between the petitioner and other accused which
the petitioner had failed to explain.
3.    The allegations against the petitioner and co-accused are grave. There is sufficient evidence that the candidates who had appeared from the said center had got suspiciously more marks than their calibre.
4.    Given the nature of allegations, custodial interrogation is required. An analysis of the allegations and evidence collected does not warrant the grant of bail to the petitioner.
5.    The petitioner fails to make a case for bail at this stage.
6.    This court will fail in its duty if it closes this order at this point.
7.    If this scam had not come to light, so many corrupt and unethical people would have got appointed to the sensitive post of Sub Inspector by giving money, and it can be well imagined what kind of officers they would have become and how much injustice such officers would have caused to the communities and the State.
8.    A highly sensitive and essential recruitment in the police, because of hacking  not only got impaired but also got derailed. It also exposed the vulnerability of the examination system and the usage of breach-able and unsafe software.
9.    It is for the Executive to ensure that software used for such sensitive matters is fool-proof as well as secured and its code is written considering the present-day exponential technological advancements and to prevent the misuse of artificial intelligence by hackers.
10. There can be no leniency while dealing with bail petitions of cyber-thugs in the matters of cyber-crime.
11. Cyber criminals must be dealt with stringently and custodial interrogation of these cyber thugs in these kinds of sensitive matters is required not only to unfold the involvement of other persons but also to find out the vulnerability in the systems to stop future breaches.
Decision
Anticipatory Bail Petition was dismissed and Interim bail order was also recalled.

SAMEDI 8 AVRIL 2023 (Billet 1 / 3)

Earl Joseph Smith III uskoo ohittavansa LeBron Jamesin
Tiedämme, että LeBron James on kuuluisa NBA-tähti, ja hän on saanut urallaan lukemattomia kunnianosoituksia. Se on myös historiallisten partituurien tallennin, jota myös monet pelaajat kadehtivat. Loppujen lopuksi he eivät voi saavuttaa tätä korkeutta NBA Pelipaidat koko elämäänsä.

[comic review] robin, vol. 2: triumphant (1991-93)
“detective work is often made up of intangibles. it’s looking for the out-of-place, the unusual… even the unthinkable.”
the first comic in this collection is batman #465 “debut” which covers tim drake’s first official night as robin out on patrol with batman. it’s an alan grant-penned story and you know how i usually feel about those, and there is some of his usual weird bullshit politics happening. the art is great, though, and i do like the bits that are just robin on patrol. but the story as a whole is just… not great. c-rank
thankfully we quickly switch gears to a three-issue arc by the chuck dixon, batmans #467-#469 “shadow box”. there’s a kinda annoying throwaway line early on about a seized weapons shipment looking like “saddam hussein’s christmas list,” but it’s from a fed who is set up to look like an asshole so i’m gonna let it slide. the story as a whole features the return of robin’s first major adversaries, king snake and lynx.
in addition to moving his operation to gotham to escape the imminent transfer of sovereignty to communist china,6 king snake is also out for revenge on robin. he sends batman several grisly messages letting him know that he’s gunning for the boy, and bruce takes tim of the case while lying to him about the reasons. i hate it when he does this, but it is pretty good storytelling and gets the audience to really identify with robin, so i’m not knocking it from a writing standpoint. just, y’know, ffs bruce. plus robin totally gets vindicated when he goes against batman’s wishes and ends up saving his life, so take that bats.
anyway, yeah, this story is pretty great. literally my only real complaint is i would’ve liked a lot more lynx toying with robin, but i get that she’s just kinda in his rogues gallery now and they can just have them fighting each other without preamble. i just really like seeing boys i relate to get bullied for some reason, no idea why that could be. b-rank
next up, we have the second robin miniseries, robin ii: the joker’s wild! this four-issue limited series was another chuck dixon venture. there’s some weirdness with the joker’s escape that i didn’t love but don’t really want to get into right now, but that’s more or less my only real complaint. from this point on the joker enacts one of his characteristically massive schemes, kneecapping the city’s infrastructure with a computer virus that he forces a tied-up and drugged computer genius to deploy for him.
the vast majority of this miniseries focuses on how rough it is for tim to keep up with his school/social life while also spending his nights trying to protect the city from the joker. it really takes a toll on him, and by the end of the story alfred tells him he doesn’t think batman could’ve done any better. there was some really fine character work in this one, on top of some great detective stuff and superhero stuff. just a really great miniseries in every respect. a-rank
and lastly we get another chuck dixon miniseries, robin iii: cry of the huntress. this one again has some fantastic character work with tim, this time dealing with his father’s return home and facing increasing scrutiny that makes it harder for him to operate as robin. bats actually ends up grounding him anyway because black mask’s emergence in gotham is leading to an uptick in gang violence and bruce is worried tim will get hurt, but when tim ends up stumbling into a situation in the wild involving a girl he starts immediately crushing on getting abducted by the russian mob, he starts sneaking out to do some solo robining.
there’s some political weirdness in this one, which i suppose is pretty unavoidable when kgbeast is involved, but it could’ve been a lot worse. and also like… even here, the politics weren’t all bad? like, there was this russian emigrant who gives robin some helpful information, and i honestly loved how he was written? he helps robin because he wants to help protect his new community from the kind of violence he fled newly-capitalist russia to escape. i’m frankly pretty surprised to see american comics doing this sort of thing so soon after the end of the cold war.
i also honestly really enjoyed how pulpy all the gang stuff was. also lynx and the ghost dragons end up getting involved, and i love how they’re continuing to be a going concern for tim. there still wasn’t nearly enough of lynx bullying him for my liking, but she certainly wanted to and that’s not nothing.
anyway eventually robin is getting his ass kicked when huntress swoops in to the rescue, and they end up joining forces to investigate the russian mobsters. i had at least one issue of this miniseries as a kid. i pretty much scooped up whatever comics i occasionally saw that said “robin” on the cover or prominently featured him, so yeah. it was cool to finally get around to reading this in full. a-rank
