vat7k designs in my head...

i thought their canon designs were a eensy weensy bit Unpolished so i made these mostly for myself. erm if u rly want it i think varian is 19 here, hugo 19, nuru 18, yong 12.

i also made rhem all playlists and had to draw them a cover so thats what the last img is I linked each of em under my notes for all of em... Under the cut is Like a Huge Infodump of notes i have for each chara,,,,,,

i kept varians design basically the same, i dislike the design w the orange neck thing so i just Nuked it😭... Here's Varians playlist

Hugos design i just wanted to put him in something more Loose. hes a thief, a professional escape artist. i dont think wearing clunky metal is ideal for him. i also gave him a prosthetic arm (blond w no arm design trope!) but u cant see it in the ref so i added another drawing of him in his under layering👍 i vaguely referenced russian(?) clothes for him as well... Yeah not too much changed w him i just tried to make him slippery-er. Here's Hugo's playlist

yong came relatively easy to me, if it wasn't obvious i did rip gaming from g*nshin's hoodie. i thought the lion hood was Adorable and freaking perfect for what i had in mind for hos character. since the og notes said the fire kingdom is loosely Chinese inspired i basically just kept that. i mashed tgt a buncha diff dynasties though sorry for how inconsistent i was... i think he looks Okay. anyways i changed yongs role a bit, ill explain why im adjusting some of their roles later but i kept yong as the Jinx Type character. hes the eldest in his family and has a buncha younger siblings, hes a lion dancer and does performances w his family/siblings. he rly like special effects n keeps tryna incorporate his fireworks into their performances (it flops and he has to sew up the dmg) ill explain more of yongs role in another post maybe shrugs... miss nuru was a bit of a struggle for me i might share my full design process with her coz i did a Bunch of mockups for her😭😭😭... i didnt have a specific country of reference for her but i chose to make her vaguely south asian inspired. i also really wanted to keep the sheer fabric w the star / constellation map. i love that idea its so cute so shes still technically the navigator. but she also wields a sword too, fencing or whatever. (her and varian r Huge Cass fangirls which is probably why she started tryna use a sword (snuck out to watch cass compete) Okay ill talk abt this later) in my head, okay ill Probably make a whole nother post talking abt how im interpreting/writing each chara, but in my head i think nuru is the youngest and her kingdom's archivist. shes mostly in charge of like Her kingdoms history / artifacts / etc. ok im getting too side tracked ill save the lore dump for later but thats Nurus role in the party. uhm below i made their character stats mostly to help me with planning / role developing. the yellow is their base stats the color behind is their end stats i guess. i was gonna explain my reasoning for their stats but ermm this post is kinda Really long so sorry😭... varian max int for obvious reasons, also max charisma just coz i feel like u kinda learn a thing or two being around a couple manipulators and spending time in jail idk shrugs... (also lets not forget the "ud b surprised what ppl would do for a cookie!") Hugo slippery guy, if a brick is thrown at him as hes running hes gonna try n run faster to shatter it, his mindset is Run Run Run! i think hes relatively agile too but yeah mostly a Speedster. i think he n varian got no Physical strength varian maybe just like A little coz Farm boy but I rly doubt quirin is making him do a Lotta heavy lifting. yong has incredible stamina and agility because hed a performer. nuru is the strongest coz this team would literally Flop without a proper Offense😭... i think varian n hugo r able to outwit plenty of their opponents but i think nuru is pretty good in a fight, same w yong. Grover followed right after you, the two of you sent away to look for some food while Annabeth and Percy hung back.

“I just don’t get why you have to be so difficult!”

“I’m difficult?!” You exclaimed, spinning around to look at Grover in disbelief.

“I haven’t been arguing with you.” You shook your head, only getting a wide eyed look from Grover.

For as long as he had known you, you loved to argue. It could be anything and everything, and it wasn’t even with everyone.

You just always had it out for him, and he didn’t know why.

You were everything Grover wasn’t, and sometimes without meaning too, Grover couldn’t help but be envious.

You were confident, you stood up for anyone and everyone of your friends, even if they could be wrong. That just never seemed to apply to him.

He didn’t like it, and just wanted this to be over but you were making it so hard. You let Percy run a mock, doing whatever he wanted while he tried to be a good influence.

Grover just stared at you for a moment Before trying again. “But you’re the one who’s been doing it...” he said, a bit suspiciously.

“No, not me.” You shook your head, laughing under your breath as Grover looked at you confused.

“With me, you argue back, you stand up for yourself. You wouldn’t have done that before, would you?” You asked, Grover silent for a moment as he thought about it.

“…you were doing it…to help me?” Grover asked, almost struggling to understand. You nodded your head, smiling smugly.

“And it worked, didn’t it?” You asked, watching as he mulled it over.

“Your teaching methods are…questionable,” Grover started, getting an offended “hey!” From you.

Grover ignored you, thinking before looking back at you. “But I get it, though.” He nodded.

“See?” You asked, chuckling a bit. Grover couldn’t help but smile a bit as well. He has never thought about it that way.

He had to look away after a second though, because now he had more time too look and see, that the old feeling he felt when looking at you wasn’t exactly envy.

Now, all Grover felt was awe, and a bit of longing as he saw your smile.

you stared at connie from across the room. he was sitting in the kitchen again, and you were in the living room with mikasa and sasha now.

“they def’ fucked.” sasha whispered to mikasa as they both sat on different sides of you. mikasa nodded while staring back and forth from you and connie.

from the kitchen, ony did the same thing.

“bruh what is y’all doin, bro? y’all been staring at each other for bout five minutes.” ony glanced at connie from his phone. connie smacked his lips and looked down at his drink. “nothing.” he muttered while shaking his head.

“yall i hate that nigga.” you frowned, realizing that connie’s gaze had been off of you for a few seconds. “girl you say that about every dude that beat them doonies down real bad.” mikasa mumbled, leaning up to get her cup. “okay but i really hate that one. nigga took full control over me like i was his bitch or sum.”

“so you fucked him?” sasha muttered. you hummed. “he fucked me.”

“disgusting.” mikasa scoffed with a small smile before swallowing the rest of her drink.

you stared at the ground, shaking your head before looking at connie again, who looked at you after a seconds. he chuckled a little before standing up, putting his phone in his pocket while walking through the crowd, towards the front door.

“hold up.” you said before standing up and following him through the crowd. some seconds passed before you finally made it outside, instantly seeing him stand beside the door.

“you obsessed, huh?” he shook his head, putting a blunt to his lips and lighting it. you stood in front of him, not saying anything before rolling your eyes. “not wit’ you. who you think you is?” you tilted your head. connie laughed. “girl i’m connie fuckin’ springer. hoes love me.”

“well i ain’t no hoe, so ion love you.” you rolled your eyes. connie hummed. “oh, but you loved me an hour ago.” he said, tilting his head at you while exhaling smoke in your face, making you move your head to the side a little.

“i don’t like nothing about you. you prolly got hoes anyway.” you muttered. connie slowly smiled. “hell yeah. and i know you got some too, so we both equal, huh.”

“i guess so.” you exhaled, glancing over to the side. you saw a group of girls glaring at you and whispering things to each other. “i got yo hoes mad. forgive me if they don’t want you no more.” you said, smiling to yourself as they walked off.

“we aint together, i can have em back whenever. i saw some muh’fuckas lookin at me too. ian gon trip tho.” connie whispered the last part, passing you his blunt.

you grabbed it, putting it to your lips and inhaling deeply before exhaling through your nose.

“i see you stuck to me now.” he raised his eyebrows, putting his hands on his sweatpants pockets. you tilted your head, shaking it and staring at the ground, flicking the ash beside you. “not really. i just wanna see what you bout. is that a bad thing?” you raised your eyebrows, looking back up at connie, who just shrugged.

“nah, not completely.” connie mumbled. “i just wanna make sure you ain’t one of them hoes that go around fucking everybody.”

“so i’m a hoe to you, now?” you squint at him. “nahhh, no, ion mean it like that.” connie lazily laughed. “i mean, an actual hoe. im just tryna make sure you ain’t for everybody.” he admitted, making you purse your lips together. “and you ain’t? you talking to me like you tryna fuck wit me.”

“i fuck on girls when i feel like i’m gon like it, not when a girl feel like she like me. i really just be staying to myself most of the time.” he muttered.

before you could say something back, someone tapped your shoulder once. “excuse me.” a girl raised her eyebrow at you before wrapping her arms around connie’s neck. “heyyy, baby. what you doin here?” she tilted her head, completely ignoring your presence.

“excuse you.” you muttered, watching her. she glanced back at you for a second. “who she posed to be?” she pointed back at you with her thumb while looking up at connie with a slick look on her face.

“we was just talkin.” connie mumbled, patting her waist a little. when she got off of him, she looked back at you, once more. “i’ll see you at home tonight.” she smiled, softly squeezing his hand before walking off.

you watched her, looking her up and down. “so that’s the hoe you cheated on for me? and multiple other bitches?” you pointed at her, giving connie back his blunt as he sighed.

“we together, but we on and off. she just be doing that shit when she see me wit somebody else, don’t worry bout her.”

“i promise you i ain’t worried.” you scoffed before shaking your head, reaching towards the front door to open it. “wait, where you goin?” connie frowned. “home. this party lame as hell. and all i got tonight was some ran through, good dick.” you muttered to connie as he slowly smiled.

“you liked it.” he whispered to you. you bit your lip softly before shaking your head.

“Yonna’s been passed around the whole school, i'm not tryna be one of them.”

“You can still try and get to know her?”

“Nah man, I'm good.”

“Homecoming is around the corner Miles, you need a date.

"I aint going."

Kaison shook his head in disappointment. "What do you mean your not going? What about the three girls who asked you earlier?”

Miles laughed at his response, “Not my type.”

He scoffed at him. “So who is nigga?”

Before Miles said another word, you walked up to them and embraced Kaison with a tight hug.

“Hey baby, I didn't see you in third period?”

“Shit my bad, I skipped.”

Miles couldn't help but feel a searing pang of resentment deep within as he watched his friend bask in the attention of the girl he's been wanting for months. It should’ve been him taking you out on those dates, kissing you, holding you and comforting you during your most vulnerable times. Kaison didn't deserve it, he did.

During the conversation, Miles found himself recounting every endearing detail about you that had captivated his heart in the first place. The way you styled your knotless braids, your vanilla scent that filled the hallway and the lip gloss that was always applied on your lips. He loved everything about you, all of it.

“We still hanging out after school?”

Kaison widened his eyes, as he forgot about their arrangement, “Fuck.”

You turned your face away, breaking eye contact.

“I'm with Kaison.”

“Who said anything about him?”

You sighed, he was right. Why were you bringing him up?

You shrugged, "I guess."

“If you weren't with him, would things have been different between us?”

“I….I don’t know.” You hesitated to answer his question.

“Mhm but you thought about it before, haven't you?”

“No.”

Miles scoffed at your response, “Why you tryna put on a front right now? It’s just us.”

You shook your head, “I love Kaison.”

“You dont y/n. You know he doesn't appreciate you the way you should be.”

Miles paused for a second and then spoke again “I could treat you way better and you know that I would.

He scooted closer to you. “Look at me Ma.”

You turned your head to face him. “It's too late Miles, you were too late…”

“It ain’t though.”

You looked down at your uniform skirt, trying to wrap up what was just said to you. You did like him before Kaison but he never showed it enough for something to form.

“I can't be talking about this with you Miles.”

“Cause you feel the same way about me, right?”

“Like I said, it's too late.”

Miles then put his hand on your chin softly and kissed you. You knew you should've pulled away but you didn't. There was a yearning feeling inside of you that wanted it just as much as he did.

He gently broke the kiss and wiped off a smudge of your lipgloss from his own lips. “I want you y/n, so fucking much.”

~ but then you come along,and he’s immediately enamored. like, imagine you’re just casually walking by miles while he’s sitting on his phone or whatever, and you accidentally bump into his leg. he looks up immediately to tell you to watch it, but instead is met with the most beautiful face he has literally ever seen. he legit double takes and completely forgets to even talk. you look down abruptly and are like “oh, i’m so sorry, i wasn’t paying attention!” you wait for him to say “it’s okay” or something like that, but when you look at him his expression is just blank. you kinda wave awkwardly and leave after that, and he watches you leave until you’re out of sight.

okay so sorry this took a while to answer anon had to let my thoughts simmer to make sense lol

first things first he has autism cause iii have autism. hes my fave so he gets to be projected onto (but tbf its already a semi-common hc i think)

like from the autism headcanon he tends to go non-verbal often esp when hes exhausted physically or mentally so like at the end of a long day some will try n talk to him and he just stares at them

the autism is genetic btw alonzo has it too but in a different flavour, i think like a difference between their spots on the spectrum is the misto is the hyperexpressive autism and his face is reaaaaally easy to read while alonzo doesnt tend to have his emotions show on his face and also has a more monotone voice

on the topic of alonzo and family im a big monochromatic siblings enjoyer i definitely think they r so so silly, i like to imagine that victoria is hard of hearing and so they’d all know sign language liek… jsl…. jellicle sign language

i mentioned in a couple posts too bustopher is their uncle to me!!! the way in the 1998 film mistos constantly tryn like touch him n everything is so cute hes so excited to see his uncle…

you were currently in your apartment watching your favorite movie, its been your favorite since you were little and you never get sick of it. right before your favorite part, you get a phone call. you’re clearly annoyed, but you pause the tv anyways in case its something important.

you look to the side of your bed where your phone sat, and picked it up to see who it was. it was matt, your boyfriend of 6 months now. you swipe the answer button and hold your phone to where he can see the top of your forehead on the facetime call.

“hi matt!” you said excitedly, even if you were annoyed about your movie, you havent spoken to him all day, so you were quite excited.

“hey baby, i was wondering if you were tryna go on a car ride with me? im bored as fuck.”

“depends, are you gonna get me food?”

“duh, we can get wingstop.”

“okay then yes.”

“pick you up in 10?”

“sure! ill see u then.”

you guys said your goodbyes and i love you’s, and then ended the call. you turned your tv off and decided yo go get ready now instead of watching the rest of the movie, knowing matt, he’s already in his car on the way there.

you decided to go with something simple, flared leggings and one of his your hoodies. you brushed your hair and then grabbed your purse and phone.

after about 3 minutes, you get a text from matt letting you know he’s outside. you liked the message and walked out of your door, locking it behind you and running outside to the van.

“hello gorgeous, how was your day?” matt said as you closer the car door and began to fasten your seatbelt. “it wasn’t bad, i did a little bit of cleaning here and there, then i just sat around all day.”

you continued to rant about what you did all day as matt silently listened and nodded as he drove. you shut your mouth as he pulls up to the wingstoo drive thru and orders his food, then asks what you want.

you told him your order, then he pulled up to the window and paid. you held the bag of food as he drove into one of the parking lots him and his brothers use to film.

you guys ate in silence and just comfortably enjoyed each others presence. once you were done, he strikes up a conversation.

“have you ever thought of starting your own youtube channel?” he asks looking at you.

“i mean yeah a couple of times, but not anytime soon. i think im okay with just being a guest on your channel.”

“hm, i was just wondering. i think it would be cool if you did.”

“i agree, it sound fun, but im in school so i think i wanna focus on that.”

“fair. maybe you and me should film alone and then i can post it on my personal channel?”

“yeah that sounds fun. im down for that.”

you finished the conversation off and the two of you stared at each other for a couple of seconds, before matt, broke the silence.

“i love you baby.”

“i love you too matthew.”

hehehhohyu okay HELLO. my first impression of your blog was, quite literally, your dottore slime post and from someone that IS neurodivergent you are painfully SO correct and i NEED to talk about this with someone.

i feel like he would be VERY drawn to silly noises (..i dont have any examples for such noises because. well. i have my own interpretation of which noises are considered """"silly"""".) BUT. but but but. he is ALWAYS constantly moving his hands as well. he will grab onto other things. (....most likely you.) he will shake and tap his fingers. he just needs SOME sort of stimulation from them lest he be forced to stay still. the agony. he constantly has to work with his hands and i just think that he doesnt know what to do with himself when hes not moving.

if you manage to be around him for a while, & if he finds you interesting enough, i would imagine that he would pick up on many of your speech patterns and phrases. or sayings from particular medias you enjoy (..considering he finds those things interesting as well). your interests have managed to worm their way into his brain and him & his segments are always repeating different things constantly like seagulls. Congratulations. they are most likely always Incoherent. silly.
