he is furious when he found out. how dare you not tell him!? How dare you to just sit idly by when your potato friends did the VDC and not to mention, watching them lose like idiots!

but... that's in the past and now he has to face this issues with a level head. he needs to know how well you sing, both in when you aren't pressured (your free alone time) and with his guidance and lessons. now you see why Epel runs for the hills during Vil lessons.

here's the thing about vil, you cant be 100% mad at his overbearing behavior to watch you succussed. he just wants to watch you thrive. plus he knows what its like in the music industry. he had to work side by side with it when he was young after all. you cant get mad at him, even if his words like like hot burning knifes to your skin.

when you think that hes heartless and you just want to break down with how harsh hes being, he gets to your level and speaks smoothing words to make you feel better.

isnt vil a great actor? i mean he works really hard to hone his skills but this is next level. he has you wrapped around his little fingers. he doesnt care if you want to be big or even small in the music industry but with you by his hip. with your voice, you could even riverly neige! at first, epel thought he wouldn't care about that. in life he mainly wanted to be seen as the manly type. but with vil's lessons on beauty, makes him hate that whole aspect, entirely.

but when he first heard you... that changed everything.

he didn't mean to sneak up on you. it was late in the day, everyone was in their clubs but since hes been failing a class, vil forced him to improve his grades.

"leona would be fine without you for a day... but not for the rest of the year.so if you want to stay in in the magical shift club, get your grades up."

he decided to head to the library to study for a bit. a nice quiet place to read and study, or try to anyways. a few minutes passed and he wasn't feeling it with his textbook. epel just needed a quick walk around the library to help pump his blood flowing to his head, he thought.

and then, he heard you. you were doing a slight hum and soft singing mixture. but oh was it so sweet to his ears. he felt like he was with his grandma back in grade school when he would come home from school and she'll be making dinner for him. it reminded him of home, and how he missed it so much.

he'll likely not be the type to confront you about it, its your business and if you told him personally, he'd love that.

without realizing it, when he thought about you singing, he dreamed that you and him were married in his home town. he'll be coming home after a long days work and you'd welcome him home with a sweet smile. you might even ask if he wanted food, a bath, or even- oh shoot. “Princess! We have to get this! Look!” Satoru says as he bounds up to you with a tiny white onesie in his hands. You rest your hand on your bump and read it.

I’m proof daddy doesn’t play video games all the time.

“Put that back or I’m divorcing you.” You point at him and waddle away, being 8 months pregnant makes movement almost as difficult as dealing with a hormonal Nobara.

He trails behind you with a pout, after putting the cursed item away at your behest.

“Oh, ‘toru - look!” You show him a set of tiny pyjamas with small forest animals printed on sage green, with tiny matching socks.

He just widens his eyes behind the sunglasses and puts it in the now overflowing shopping cart.

He then leans over to another section and begins to coo - a tiny, little dressing gown, fluffy and dark blue with tiny yellow ducks printed on it and a hood with a duck bill on it.

This was your turn to just wordlessly put it in the cart, your son just had to have this.

After hours more, Satoru is loading the car with about 20 shopping bags, with delivery arranged for a beautiful dark wood gliding crib and wicker Moses basket. He also insisted on a sleek, black baby carrier he could wear that would match his uniform - why he insisted on it matching, you’ve no idea.

After plopping into the passenger seat, you turn to him.

“What about Daichi?” You ask him, resuming the 7 month long conversation on baby name possibilities.

“Nah. Had a great uncle Daichi, he was an ass. What about Hotaru?” Satoru added.

“We will constantly get asked if we named him after Hagenezuka from Demon Slayer.” You joked.

“Kentaro?” You propose, after a beat of contemplation.

“Princess, you’re having my baby - not Nanamin’s.”

Satoru smirks and you laugh, then he turns to you.

“Ooh! What about Rei?” He smiles, obviously liking that one.

“I like that one. I’ll put it on the list. Keep the creative juices flowing, c’mon!” You swipe and put it on your notes app filled with name ideas.

“Me too. Jin?”

“It’s pretty, but it was Itadori’s father’s name.” You nod.

“Hmm…” he’s silent as he takes the turn to your cottage.

“What about Akio?” He says, an air of something wistful in his voice.

“Akio. Akio L/N Gojo.” You mutter to yourself, something tingles in your chest as you hear it.

“Google what it means, princess, cos’ I have no idea, just liked the sound of it.”

So you do, and you smile at the result.

“Bright. Akio means bright. I -” You’re smiling now, but your sentence gets interrupted as the as yet unnamed baby in question gives a little kick in response. You giggle as Satoru looks at your belly smiling.

“Well, the kids spoken - that’s going on the list.” You say patting the top of your belly.

“I still don’t understand why we can’t call him Mochi.” Satoru pouts.

Later that evening, Megumi arrives home for the weekend from school and you and Satoru usher him into the nursery you have been working on together. His eyes widen to the size of saucers at what he sees - he knew you guys would create the most extra nursery possible, if your track record of decorating his and Tsumiki’s rooms were anything to go by. At age 11, Tsumiki decided she wanted an underwater themed bedroom and the next weekend, with the DIY help of uncle Nanamin and Yaga, and moral support from behind a glass of wine from Aunty Koko - the room was complete. The ceiling was patterned with waves, there were dolphins painted on the walls, floating sea turtles hanging from the ceiling and the bed was surrounded in a canopy of sea green tuille. Tsumiki barely left the room for weeks. Megumi had sheepishly asked for an ‘animal room’ when you had asked him what he wanted after you all moved to the cottage. The then 7 year old was greeted with the most fantastical room. His bed had a canopy of large leaves covering it, with a long plush snake hanging around them, the walls were a dark green with any animal you could imagine painted in random spots across the room, a chair was sitting in the corner where he could hide himself away by pulling down the cover which made the chair look like a frog, the walls were lined with books and all his accumulated toys and Lego - the books would later become only a fraction of what he owned when you got bored one weekend in a few years time and converted a spare room walk in closet into his own little library den.

You and Satoru opened the nursery door with a flourish, and walls of the deepest, richest blue welcomed him - patterned in small gold constellations, which when he looked closer - he could see most of them were labelled with their own names, he realised each constellation was the sign each family member was born under. There was yours, with Sagittarius beside it for Satoru. Capricorn was under them, his own sign, then Cancer for Tsumiki. Then the baby’s, who would be born under Leo. The more he looked, the more he say. There was one for Nanami, Shoko, Itadori, Nobara and the other students, your mom and dad. In the corner, nearest Satoru’s, was an unlabelled Aquarius sign, he didn’t need to ask who that was, a silent hope that from another world the Aquarian in question would watch over their child.

The ceiling of the room was covered in white cotton, mimicking clouds and the furniture that you already had was all dark wood, mostly family heirlooms from your side. You motioned him to sit in the rocking chair you had in their for nursing while Satoru dragged in bags and bags and bags of baby clothes.

You both enthusiastically showed him each and every thing you bought, you smacking a diaper on your husbands head when he snickered holding a white onesie which you had apparently threatened divorce over. You pulled out a jumpsuit of the fluffiest brown fabric, decorated with little ears at the top so the baby would look like a bear and you both cooed over it for ages, then Satoru took out two shoeboxes - both labelled Nike and showed him two pairs of white and green air force ones - one tiny, and one in his size.

“So you guys can match! Brother shoes!” He said, almost shoving both pairs in Megumi’s face.

A bundle of funny little hats and silly patterned socks were laughed over by you too, and as you both took out a bag with all of the newborn size clothes, he couldn’t help but smile. A proper smile, not just a smirk. He looked at you both, so painfully in love it made him cringe sometimes - and often forget that you’re actually 2 people, and not one. You were glowing, big round belly protected by one of your husbands hoodies and slippers on your swollen feet but just radiant - he knew his mom was beautiful, he heard his dad say it a million times a day, but you looked like a goddess now. Satoru, his dad, sat beside you, arm around your waist and not a blindfold or pair of glasses in sight, black sweatshirt and grey sweatpants in place of the usual uniform and real smile on his face too - no smirk, no teasing grin, no grin laced with sharp intent, just smiles and eyes so bright and full of joy they almost blinded.

Megumi looked at the shoes in his lap. One pair in his size, 11, and the other barely the size of the palm of his hand. He was getting a baby brother. It truly hit him in that moment, in a few weeks time the tiny life that you two created would enter the world and he knew that any combination of you and Satoru’s genetics would only make for the most beautiful, caring, loving, powerful and world-changing person ever. He was never vocal with his love or emotions, but he knew you guys knew. How much he loved you both (even when Satoru really pisses him off, you chaotically whirlwind into a room or you both try to rope him into one of your dual-minded hairbrained schemes). You had both only been 19 when he and Tsumiki entered your lives, and sure, you hadn’t always known what the hell you were both doing - both you two were the best parents kids could wish for. He knew that lil’mochi was going to be so loved, by him included.

He noticed he was smiling at the shoes, in his own world when you ask him.

“Okay there, ‘Gumi?” You smile, folding up some small pieces of clothing.

“I got the right size, didn’t I? Surely you can’t grow more! You are absolutely forbidden from being taller than me. Or you’re grounded. Til’ - til’ college.” Satoru says with absolute resolve.

“I’m not going to outgrown you, Daddy Long Legs. I’m just… excited.” He says, raising his head so you both can see the smile on his face. You nearly gasp, smiles like this are rare from the boy.

“It’s gonna be awesome, having a baby around. Itadori already talks about babysitting. I think - I think being a big brother is going to be fun, yaknow?” He finishes. Satoru’s hand tightens on your waist in a silent show of ‘this is an important moment, isn’t it?’. With his hand where it is, he feels the flurry of movement as the baby moves around.

“Seems like someone else is excited about you being a big brother, kid.” Satoru says, nodding toward the bump.

“He’s already communicating. God, he’s gonna talk as much as you two isn’t he?” Megumi says, snorting a laugh and rolling his eyes - sardonic humour coming back.

“Whatever he is, he’s going to have the world’s best big brother, now C’mere, help me fold these because if I try to bend down I won’t get back up - I haven’t seen my feet since May.” You laugh, as both your boys join you in preparing for the little one soon to arrive, as a family about to expand.

Ok I’m glad that we’re getting sword af again but I’m disappointed it’s audio only. Like is it bad that this announcement kinda ruined my day a bit? One of the things people like the most is seeing the cast interactions I mean a majority of the posts I’ve seen about sword af are about their interactions and reactions to things (and several posts about the seating arrangement for next season only to get no seating arrangement 😔). Also like I don’t really do podcasts. I can’t focus on audio only things for that long and (even though I’m definitely going to try to listen to season two) I don’t think I’m going to be able to listen to season two because I can’t focus that long when there’s no visuals. Everyone keeps saying budget is the reason for it to be only audio but smosh mouth and smosh Reddit stories are their podcasts but both of them have video too. Cut the video for smosh mouth if you have budget problems not the show where acting and reactions and interactions are so important. This is just going to hinder the sword af experience like I don’t understand why they did it?? I just can’t believe they delayed sword af season two for like 5 or 6 months only to make it audio only. I’m so sad that I’m probably not going to be able to enjoy season two as much because I’m not going to be able to get into it like I can when I can actually see everyone.

Also the wording really got me too like “rejoice!! 80% of what made sword af so good has been taken away!!! Hazzah!!!” Like wtf?! I keep seeing people saying we should be grateful we even get a season two and like yeah. I get that but also it’s going to be a completely different experience now and we have a right to be a little disappointed about that. Idk I’m just disappointed and a little upset but I’m going to give it a try and hopefully I’ll be able to enjoy it still

i honestly dont know how i feel about Ethan Slater dating Ariana Grande... i guess im a little sad tbh and i dont usually like to pass judgment on people’s relationships or anything like that but the fact that Ethan was a married man...

ive been following Ethan since his SpongeBob Musical days and I will always be a fan of his work, but i was so happy for him and his girlfriend when they got married and they have a child together... Wicked is a turning point in his career but i also think it was for the worst.

"I think you just need to tell her, hyung," Boo Seungkwan shouted to Jeon Wonwoo from over the sound of the loud bass blasting throughout Seungcheol's apartment. As per usual, the gang had all conspired to barge in on Seungcheol's place and throw a mini party for themselves. They called it a "stress reliever"; Seungcheol preferred "stress multiplier". 

Wonwoo's eyes flitted across the living room to where you were stationed at Cheol's foosball table by the window. You were partnered with Hoshi, and played against Seokmin and Mingyu. The two of you—you and Hoshi—had been jostling each other around with playful punches to each other's arms, hands covering each other's to play their handles, and so on. It was a splendid affair of flirting, and it made Wonwoo gulp his cup of beer down hard. 

Seungkwan went on. "I mean, noona's just flirty like that to everyone, y'know? Everyone except for me—"

"And me," Wonwoo muttered under his breath. 

Seungkwan pretended he didn't hear it. "—so you never know! You just… air it out. What harm could it do?"

What harm? Wonwoo loved Seungkwan (to a private extent; he wasn't about to tell the kid outright or he would never live it down), but even he had to admit that there was bound to be some kind of harm in confessing his massive crush on you. It was strange at first, the way his heart always made a little skip when he saw you, or the way his breath hitched whenever he heard you say his name. And when you made conversation with him? He wondered how on earth he could even choke out the word "hi" back. 

A presence appeared on the other side of Wonwoo, settling onto the leather couch with a bottle of soju in hand. "Yah, what bullshit are you trying to tell him this time, Seungkwannie-ah?" Jihoon sighed, then pursed his lips against the bottle and took a drink.

Wonwoo tilted his head in begrudging agreement. Seungkwan definitely had a point there.

Wonwoo's heart sank, but he was glad you won—even if your smile was so pretty and happy it made his chest ache; even if Hoshi got to smell that nice perfume you wore all the time; and even if your eyes found his in the midst of the chaos—

Record scratch. Oh fuck. 

Wonwoo wondered if he looked as calm outwardly as he wasn't inwardly. Dear god, you just waved at him. 

He couldn't help but smile back at you, in that soft, fond sort of way he had unique to him. Maybe he couldn't scramble the words together to tell you his true feelings, but maybe the universe would send you a message in that private way of his. 

Wonwoo definitely wished the universe would just speed up in its "working its magic". It was taking an awfully long time to give him a sign, but it was terribly good at continuing to make him fall faster and harder. Falling for you was falling into a bottomless pit, but it was freeing and frightening at the same time. 

He didn't often believe in fate, but desperate people found faith. Not that he was desperate or anything. No, definitely not. 

"Wonwoo!"

Well, there went his heart. 

A small smile found its was to his lips as he turned to greet you. You and Seungkwan had just arrived at the restaurant, and you happened to greet him first. Coincidence? Probably. At least, that was what Wonwoo thought. 

"Hey, Yn-ah," he said lowly, softly. 

Your smile softened at its corners and in the crinkle of your eyes. You stopped behind his chair with one hand propped on the back. Oh good god he could smell your perfume— "Good to see you! I feel like it's been ages since I last got to talk to you. Still running that book club?"

His eyebrows shot up like the speed of his heartbeat. "You remembered?"

"Of course, I did! You can ask Kwannie; it's all I talk about."

Seungkwan made a face, his nose wrinkling. "Yeah, it is," he confirmed. "If she didn't have to work, she'd be there, hyung. I'll tell you that." He sank into the seat next to Vernon and Chan, the two of whom were hogging the paper checklist for All You Can Eat sushi. 

Wonwoo couldn't believe his ears. He'd known you loved to read, but he didn't realize you actually cared about his book club. When he looked at you, he could've sworn there was a smattering of pink on your cheekbones. 

Cute. 

He tugged out the empty chair next to him. "Here, please, you should sit—"

"YN-IEEEE!" Hoshi screeched from the other end of the table like a hyena. He waved his arms around wildly. "I saved you a seat!" He smacked his hand down against the empty seat beside him, beckoning you over. 

You chuckled to yourself. "Ah, sorry Woo. Gotta go cater to our tiger cub. But we'll have to catch up on book talk soon, yeah?"

"Of course," he promised with a small nod of his head. 

You bit your lip through your smile, your hand grazing his shoulder, and then you were gone. Wonwoo kind of wished you'd sat down next to him instead. 

Wonwoo was drinking again. Why? Well, the reason he would say was because Seungcheol was paying. The actual reason was because you showed up to Joshua's promotion celebration in a killer little black dress. No, it was not killer, but rather murderous. As in, he was murdering his throat as he threw back shot after shot, trying to erase the delusional little fantasies popping up in his head. 

"I think you need to chill," Vernon said with a hand over Wonwoo's to stop him from reaching for his fifth shot of the night. Vernon's eyebrows creased in concern. "Like, respectfully. But drinking isn't gonna erase that dress—I mean, you probably wanna erase the—"

"Jesus, Vernon," Wonwoo swore. Now he'd done it. Delusional just got ramped up a level. What was it? Was he a simp now? 

Wonwoo dragged a hand down his face. It wasn't like he wasn't dressed nicely either. He thought he looked pretty damn good when he'd walked out in the slightly unbuttoned black button down and suit jacket, tailored suit pants, the works. He'd even tried his hand at the slightest bit of black eyeliner, and at this point, it was just gonna end up smudged. "I'm not trying to forget," he enunciated the latter word very carefully against Vernon's megawatt smile, "I'm just trying to… distract myself."

"It's just a little sad, bro. You and Yn used to be really close before…"

"She and Hoshi got close," Wonwoo finished half-heartedly. That called for another shot. 

"No, I mean, before you realized your undying love for her and decided to be melodramatic about it." At Wonwoo's scowl, Vernon's hands shot up in the air in surrender. "Respectfully."

Both of the men's eyes wandered over to where you and Hoshi were currently taking pictures together to the side. It was like a miniature James Bond-esque photoshoot, and even Joshua had ditched his celebrators to join you. He had practically stolen you from Hoshi, the latter of which pouted while he watched Seokmin take yours and Joshua's pictures. 

Wonwoo grabbed another shot glass from the bar counter behind him, and just as he did so, Vernon joined him. 

"We might as well finally test who's got the higher tolerance," Vernon said with a shrug. 

Wonwoo laughed and clinked his glass against Vernon's. "Cheers, my friend."

And in the end, Vernon had ended up being the one passed out on Joshua's shoulder in the back of an Uber. The night had dulled as the friends all slowly became either too tired or too drunk to continue partying. With Joshua and Vernon gone, Seungcheol began plucking off the rest to make sure everyone had a ride home. 

However, Wonwoo remained slumped at the bar, his chin propped on his arms as they laid on the bar counter. He drew aimless hearts on the surface of the polished wood, mind somewhere in the realm of rose-tinted sunsets. The alcohol was definitely hitting him now, and even if he didn't become ape-shit crazy when drunk, he did become a little more… lovey-dovey. 

He felt a hand clasp him on the shoulder. "Your lucky night, Woo," Junhui said to him with a slyness in his voice. "Yn-ie wants to make sure you're okay."

Wonwoo hardly registered Jun's words or his departure, but he did realize that you were sliding onto the barstool next to him and calling the bartender for a glass of water. The water glass was pushed toward him, and you nudged his arm. 

"Sit up, Wonwoo. Come on, let's drink some water for me, hm?"

Wonwoo did not move; except, his eyes slowly adjusted to fix upon you. There was this sort of… flushed glow about you that made you look like an angel in this hazy daze of his. "Mm-mm," he hummed with a miniscule shake of his head. 

Your face contorted into an adorable confused expression that made him smile. "Everyone's leaving, Woo. We gotta sober you up."

"Are you sober?" He murmured. His words were slurred slightly, but he spoke so low anyway that one couldn't tell. 

You chuckled, shaking your head slightly. "Not really. But I'm a lot more sober than you are. I saw you drinking earlier, mister," you teased, wagging your finger at him. 

He giggled—yes, giggled. 

"Were you drinking so much for a reason?" You asked offhandedly as you nudged him to drink the water again. 

This time, Wonwoo slowly sat up and took the water cup. "Mhm," he said into the cup as he took a little sip. "You."

You blinked. "Me?"

"Mhm." Wonwoo drained the water cup and set it on the table. "If I drink more water, will you take me out?"

"Take—" you stammered, eyes wide, "—take you out? You want me to like… take you home? Take you outside? Take—"

Wonwoo shook his head. "Mm-mm," he slurred again. He propped the side of his head against his fist this time, viewing you from a slightly different angle that made your cheeks look rosy and your expression bashful. Or was that reality? "Take me out on a date. You owe me for drinking water like you wanted me to."

Okay, so maybe he was really drunk. He was gonna slap himself in the morning for this.

You laughed, but it wasn't the kind of laughter where you thought he was being hilariously ridiculous. Rather, you found him so endearingly adorable with his shameless words and goofy grin. You kind of wished he smiled like that all the time—without restraint. 

But you were nodding, and Wonwoo was grinning from ear to ear like he'd won a million dollars. 

"Okay," you said, your lips curling upward as you stood up and offered a hand to him, "I'll take you out, Wonwoo."

Heavy rain always recalled the pain of the captain’s past. A demented reminder of the life that he had left behind in order to survive. The horror of the fated day replayed in his mind as he leaned over his desk. With such heavy rain, the commander, Erwin, believed that a rest day was in order. Just a few weeks after the coup d’état and an inevitable expedition right around the corner. Rest was needed but the farthest thing on Levi’s mind. His thoughts shifted from the painful day to more peaceful memories of his dear friends. It was harder to remember their voices and the way they looked the longer time passed, as the more people he lost grew.

A knock recaptured his attention and brought him back to reality. He muttered an enter and looked up to meet the eyes of his only two friends left in the above ground world. He quickly stood up and greeted Erwin before glancing at Hange. 

“Levi theres a problem…” Erwin stated as Hange closed the door, making sure no one was able to hear the conversation.

“Problem? What do you mean Erwin?” Levi looked up at the commander, confusion laced his eyes.

“Ever since the Coup, we had a suspicion that someone wouldn’t be happy. I was right, just an hour ago we intercepted a package addressed to you” Erwin stated sitting in one of the chairs around his office. “Inside was a heart, we suspect it is human but we cannot be sure until it gets tested.” 

Levi’s eyes widened. It was impossible, Kenny had died by Levi’s hands. All of his connections to the underground world had either disappeared or died. Only a man with a death wish would try to pull this stunt. 

“A letter came with it, detailing some woman in the underground…” Hange tailed off, pulling it out of her pocket and handing it to Levi. Levi took it and read it. His face dropped as he gripped the paper. I thought she was dead. 

“Erwin, I would like to take my team to the underground city. I have an idea of who is behind this.”

A wolf whistle reaches your ears as you arrive to the run down building you called work. Dull eyes looking up to meet your boss and his companion. A few girls sitting up next to some sleeze bags and a full bar. Your boss grinned ear to ear as he looked at you. It was no secret that your boss, Conrad, had the upmost favor and adoration for you. The only girl he had employed to stay fully clothed. 

Conrad ran maybe the only neutral territory in the underground and of course it was a brothel. Upstairs moans and creaky floor boards were heard. Some girls looked at you with jealously, others with respect, but only Conrad knew the real reason he didn’t pimp you out. Not even you had learned the true reason, all you knew was that you were thankful.

“Ah there is my favorite girl in the whole world!” Conrad exclaimed as you approached his table, stroking your cheek affectionately. You gave a curt nod. Before opening the booking journal you carried. Conrad and his partner, Darius, discussed business plans, money, investments, remodels, and the whole works while you carefully jotted down the important information and repeated the minutes. The two men shook hands and Darius left. You turned your head to face Conrad.

“Sir, is there anything else you’d like me to record today before I balance the books?”

“Yes actually, Y/N please come into my office.” Conrad whispered before carefully leading the way. You both entered his office and you sat down in your usual chair. Before you could question him, Conrad dropped a heavy box on the table in front of you.

“As you know, Kenny the Reaper is dead. Now I don’t know who you pissed off but tell me why there is a heart in a box being mailed to my establishment.” Your eyes widened and as you peered into the box you left the bile rise in your throat. Your mouth opened but nothing came out. A note was attached addressed to you. Reaching for it as you tried to avoid the heart, you quickly scanned the message before gasping. It's impossible… they told me he was dead.

Eclipse in progress part 2

Okay so I've only seen two more episodes and I kind of had in my head I'd watch till the end of 8 before writing anymore because I have the time but episode 7 just one two suckerpunched my feelings so I need to go regulate.

For the record while I'm a sucker for crying I get WAY MORE OVERWHELMED when things are bitter sweet and this episode is whoooooooaaaaaa

So some thoughts

I had forgotten about Namo he could also have stolen the diary and I think logistically this makes mroe sense because he is in a different year level so not expected to be in class BUT where did he get the key? Whereas Thua being class president potentially gives him key acces idk and I still feel like there's more layers

We still really haven't gotten background on anyone which is why I wasn't going to post yet so my theories havent changed much except

TURNS OUT AKK IS RESPONSIBLE FOR THE CAR

Did both Ayan and his uncle have a necklace? I'm really unsure about whether or not Ayan legit saw his suicide or has just vividally imagined it but n the dreams they're both wearing it whereas I had previously assumed Ayan was wearing his uncles necklace.

Namo also seems to genuinely believe in the curse so where did this rumour come from, I don't feel like it's NEW, did Akk hear it and just capitalise on it? or has someone else being doing this in the past? Is it passed down from the head prefect

also Khan and Wat are prefects were they indoctrinatinated by candelight??

1984 stuff was WAY LESS SUBTLE than I was expecting when Akk first found that book

Ayan convincing Akk he needs to 'tell the truth' and Akk being woried about his family and his reputation is obviously legit but also feels like a coming out metaphor ngl

Khan thinking Ayan is playing with Akk and Thua but gently confronting it rather than getting jealous made me appreciate him even more

ALSO THE POWER DYNAMICS in the framing of Ayan and Neo’s convo on the stairs, Neo is SO MUCH HIGHER and yet from the loew position Ayan managed to be confident and understanding.

The three prefects convo was interesting when you consider the queer metaphor of the fact that Wat (so far) ISNT queer and is the one most openly empathetic to the protests, because he doesn't have the same personal stake as our gay boys

I listened to every Beatles album in order so you dont have to and kept this record as I did. no one asked me to do this and honestly idk how I arrived at it it just sounded interesting after I exhausted the platters who I didnt think to record like this. also im at the point of school where you dont get homework anymore and I miss it so I made a report.

these are graded on a curve, that is, the ratings of each album are calculated in relation to the other albums. prior to this endeavor I had only heard the big beatles songs like in movies and on Wii rockband.

SWEEPING. happiness is a warm gun. blackbird, Helter Skelter, while my guitar gently weeps, back in the ussr, revolution (which is satire which I just realized)... however, the lows are LOW. glass onion is bad; Julia is actually unlistenable (I broke and skipped it); wild honey pie is like getting a transorbital lobotomy; birthday has undone years of my therapist's work vis a vis suicidal ideation. Im so baffled by this I almost want to exclude it entirely. instead I calculated its good song to bad song ratio which landed the album as a whole at a solid D+ (69%)! but that seems like its ignoring the good songs which for any other band even ONE of those would be the song of their career. emotionally the experience was not unlike a bipolar mixed episode. 1/5 yellow submarine: this one was a movie soundtrack. something it has going for it is that it isn't the white album. 4/5 abbey road: yeah. 10/5. I cant even be flippant about this. you live a whole lifetime listening to this one. fine. let it be: set myself up to FAIL with this one. my dad was about to turn 18 the year this came out, which I only bring up because this is the only one of my dads beatles albums I kept. so of course I listened to the record and cried through let it be like a bitch. rating overall: 43.8/65, about 66%. but I dont vibe w that honestly. I had a great time doing this and discovered some great music. See, the problem is that the people involved in leaking this info in the first place are out there trying to justify their doxxing actions because "snc looked happy, so who cares."

My problem lies with the people who are straight up stalking them. There is no universe in which snc is fine with everything that is transpiring. They may have been fine with the owner bringing people into the Gaol, idk. If they were, then I'm happy for everyone involved. But there's no way on earth they are ok with being stalked and doxxed at the level that is going on. But because this group of people got them on camera smiling and controlling the situation, everyone who has been behaving abhorantly and participating in this shit is now taking this as a sign that it's game on.

They did handle the situation like pros, considering how it does appear that they were completely taken aback by the whole thing (from comments I've seen from the staff onsite). I give them kudos for that. The only problem is, now everyone thinks it's totally fine to encourage and continue this behavior, and it's going to escalate and end very, very badly.

But yea, idk why they left their producer in the States...unless he's there and just in hiding, idk. I'd be hiding, if I were him. 🤣

Idk, this whole situation is just ugly and not ok, especially if this owner really did set them up. But even if he didn't - these fans that are publicly doxxing them and the ones encouraging it need to be stopped. 🤷‍♀️

Ramon: Friendly albiet Trigger-Happy Vigilante that is well know through the lower castes of Eden as a Hero. Unlike Canon, he realised Eden's lies almost immediately and remembers a lot about Dimension X, and is deeply troubled about not being able to save his home.

Sarah: Former Eden soldier highly praised for her strategies and fighting prowess until she leaked hundreds upon hundreds of documents and pictures of Eden's... less palpatable actions. Still is trying her best to expose Eden for what it is. Quiet and uptight, but loyal to a fault and always willing to save people (unlike canon)

Sam: A former US military soldier and spy, like in canon, but he never got betrayed by Sarah and has worked with the resistance for many many years. Straightforward and militaristic in thinking, he has dedicated his life fighting against Eden, just like when he was working for America. He and Sarah were recently captured after trying to expose a major hybrid trafficking ring managed by Cody Rhodes.

The Monitor (Jade): Previously a Eden News journalist, Sarah has become a large part of Eden's survelliance system, monitoring every nook and cranny for any possible crime against Eden and protect his daughter. Luckily, this has granted her the ability to effectively "hide" people from Eden's panopticon, a power that she uses to set up a certain team..

Pey'r: A fighter for Hybrid Rights, an important soldier in the Wasteland War and a very well trained soldier to boot, Pey'r had adopted Jade when she was extremely young, after seeing her parents, two close friends of his, die in the middle of a crossfire. Even after Jade recorded him hiding outlaws from Eden when she was young, he still partly hoped, that one day, his daughter would help him with his work, even after he died.

(This is all subject to change, yadda yadda, at least Pey'r's not in love with his daughter now)

its difficult to parse through how you feel about the disaster because people are messy, and they do both good and bad things.

i dont think i know enough about any of the four adults aboard to say whether the good theyve done outweighed the bad, and whether other people even care about that when it comes to their feelings about this.

the one i know for sure that i dont feel bad for is stockton rush because this was entirely his fault.

im not gonna get into the weeds as to why exactly titan was badly designed, but to save money and for "simplicity", he employed some experimental techniques like the use of carbon fibre and the pressure pod (i hope i have the right word here) being cylindrical. he ignored regulations and laws, he used expire carbon fibre, and he turned a mass gravesite into a tourist spot.

and i hate him even more for how he designed oceangate. the way they work is that each dive would technically be research-based, but to fund it (even though rush is a multi-millionaire), they would allow people to buy tickets to come along. and i hate this more than if it was just tourism because the way hes tied them together has made it harder to criticise the dives because they have done important research.

i definitely he misled people because if you dont know about this sort of vessel, youre likely to defer to someone who helped to develop it.

however, i would err on the side of both harding and nargeolet knowing how unsafe it was. nargeolet had done countless dives just like it and he was in this world where people were saying this isnt safe. we also know that harding knew because his friend victor vescovo, who found the deepest shipwreck in the world (the samuel b roberts), told him that it was unsafe, but harding went anyway.

ive kinda just been rambling in my reply because i do feel torn about it. people died and i struggle not to feel for them, even if my logical brain is arguing with that. i think many people struggle to believe anyone deserves to die because were humans and we are meant to care about each other. its how we survived as a species for so long. but there are people in this world where if they died, the world would objectively be a better place.

at the end of the day, im not the authority on how anyone feels about this and i dont begrudge anyone for their feelings. the world is not black and white, and so much exists in the morally grey area.
