Socks, food, and the ocean—they all have one thing in common: microplastics.
To tackle the microplastic pollution problem, researchers and policy experts from the Aquarium and @mbari-blog created an open-source library dedicated to helping researchers trace these tiny culprits back to their source. Check out the webcomic below to learn more!
You can read more about the library on our website. Together we can take down plastic pollution! 💙🌍
I love the aftg main trio because it’s like the butcher of Baltimore’s son who has managed to make it out alive, an actual fucking guard dog in human form, and national sensation exy star Kevin day. It has real “I am here for yakuza negotiations. I have brought my body guard boyfriend, and also celebrity Kevin day is here. He wouldn’t stop crying when we tried to leave.”
Guys. The cows were about how if people don't like you or don't want to listen to you, they'll decontextualise your actions and use them to discredit you in any situation. How doing one (1) memorable bad thing can be held against you forever. The cows are about looking a council of world leaders in the eyes, telling them we're all being robbed of our futures by megacorporations, showing them the receipts and numbers and photographic evidence, and being told none of your arguments matter actually because you're The Cow Guy.
The cows are about how people don't forgive, not really.
[ID: A colourless, digital Trigun comic of Vash and Wolfwood talking about Wolfwood's scars. They're both laying in bed and topless. Vash lays on top of Wolfwood, playing with the rosary around his neck. Then, Vash kisses a spot on Wolfwood's chest. Wolfwood asks, "What are you doing?" Vash smiles sadly, "You got shot here. In the last town we visited. You didn't even bother moving."
Vash props himself up over Wolfwood, who frowns slightly. Wolfwood is quiet for a moment before he says, "You remember that, huh?" Vash grabs Wolfwood's left wrist and brings it to his face. "And here." He kisses another spot there. "When you helped free the hostages from that robber..." Wolfwood dismissively says, looking away, "Was a lucky shot." Vash huffs, “Don’t brag. Jeez.”
Half of Wolfwood's expression is shown, eyes returning to Vash who is now sitting up, continuing to say, "And..." Vash goes on and kiss Wolfwood's right palm. "You got cut here, even though that girl was aiming at me." A moment from the past flashes, of Wolfwood grabbing a knife aimed at Vash, his hand bleeding.
At present, Vash moves down and puts another kiss on Wolfwood's right shoulder. "And here, from watching my back." Another memory flashes of Wolfwood and Vash back to back. Vash looks back as Wolfwood grins while holding Punisher, bleeding from multiple gunshots in his shoulder.
"And," Vash combs up Wolfwood's hair to reveal his forehead, "Here." A final memory shows Wolfwood with a regeneration vial in his mouth while getting shot on his temple. The next panel is framed in blood with Vash at the center, eyes wide and stunned in horror. The next panel is a closed up shot of Wolfwood's eye, locked on Vash's face.
Back to present, Vash’s head is bowed down as Wolfwood raises a hand to his nape and says, “Spikey.”
Wolfwood looks serious and frowns as he says, "We talked about this. Those were my decisions. They're not there anymore. Forget about them." Vash looks very sad before he smiles ruefully and says, "I still see them. All the time." He leans down so they touch foreheads. Wolfwood’s sorrowful expression can be seen as Vash says, "You protect so much. I could never forget what you've done to me. And many others..."
In the last image, they're drawn more cartoonishly. Wolfwood sweats and asks, "You don't actually remember every wound, right?" Vash points at a spot on his chest. "Kuroneko left a scratch here 7 times." Wolfwood, startled, says, "Why the hell are you keeping count—" End ID]

hi!! so i just binged your feralnette comic today and i’m so hooked omg this is the one instance that has me shipping felinette !!! and felix is so gender holy shit
i wanted to ask what motion makes felix’s bracelet do the “vrrt” sound? are they like twisting the bracelet and the beads clack together?
its the sound of them stretching out the elastic and then running their fingers along the beads, which make them clack together one after another in quick succession - because they're crystal it makes a fun little echo-y sound that you get with imperfect minerals
I need you all to know that the series 16bit Sensation - an anime about an aspiring eroge artist/developer travelling back in time - has just reached its Darkest Hour plot twist and revealed that the protagonist accidentally caused a butterfly effect and created an alternate timeline where eroge development almost entirely went into the US market in the early 2000s, and bishoujo game culture is now universally rooted in Los Angeles. So, as an example, Fate still exists and has the same pop cultural impact but it was made in America:
The hit game Fate Gears of Order, finally localised and coming to a phone near you!
This is, of course, the dire future that we need to travel back in time (again) to prevent from coming to pass
