Building off of the Iceman calendar…

Just hear me out, Ice’s admiral from his aircraft carrier before top gun make him pose for a calendar so they have an excuse to hang up pictures of him in their offices. He’s literally every admiral’s dream pilot, he’s reliable, focused, well-behaved, professional, listens well, follows instructions, literally making admirals swoon well before 1986 rolled around. They want to be able sigh longingly and stare dreamily at pictures of the perfect Naval aviator that is the Iceman.

ALTERNATIVELY

Before the events of Top Gun, Ice lost a bet with his squadron and had to pose for the calendar photo shoot. When he realized it was all a set up it was too late and now on the USS enterprise (before Maverick heads back to TOPGUN) Wolfman and Hollywood get a hold of a copy of the calendar from someone from Ice’s previous aircraft carrier and hangs it up in their ready room and oh my god they’ve never seen Ice so flustered in his life

HONESTLY I just need Slider taking the pictures, showing Ice how to pose and overall just hyping him up telling him how hot he looks because he doesn’t let anyone else in the room and then the boys from top gun somehow getting a hand of the calendar but then all of a sudden they’re begging him to go to the beach to play volleyball but nonono don’t wear your sweatpants, wear these pink time-period accurate short-shorts they so conveniently have in their bag
