Heres my bingo card for Metron that nobody, not a single soul asked for 🤣

So a few things to note. I say everyone's wrong about them but me but that's ONLY bc nobody else is talking about them except me. I know a bunch of you have good and correct opinions on this asshole, so i only picked this one to be funny.

If Metron was actually real and existed and somehow i knew him, i still wouldnt actually marry him bc im already married. BUT in a fictional world where he exists and my partner doesnt? Well Im not gonna say no...

im not gonna deny he's a horrible person. Lol he's done terrible things! He's done a lot of good things too, but that doesn't cancel out the other stuff. But i love a morally ambiguous character, so for me it doesnt detract from enjoying him as a character. He's interesting.

But i didnt put that he's deeper than he seems bc imo hes not. He is what he is. And sadly not enough has been written about him in canon to really get into any of his deeper motivations.

I also didnt put that he got done dirty by fans bc that implies he has fans. 😂

Alright so i dont really like the square that says mentally ill about them. I know it's light hearted but it sits weird with me to talk about mental illness that way. i dont mind when others do, but i dont feel its appropriate for me. But that said, i know what this square is getting at and i pretty much have to select it bc i mean. For any of you who have seen the spreadsheet. Or the thumbnail collection. Or have read my longer posts. You know ....its A Thing.

And yes, he works best as part of a dynamic. He needs other characters to throw into stark relief his own ethics. And he also needs them to give him purpose, otherwise hed just float around in his chair doing nothing of interest. Most often he's brought in to incite some action or as a plot device. But Kirby originally wrote New Gods with Orion, Lightray and Metron in mind. Like, he was part of the OG crew! Mind you, Scott was off having his own adventures. But yeah point is, let him interact with others. Let him be the weirdo who shows up. Let him "observe" (ie immediately start meddling)!
